First International Player in DPL impresses many

Givani Hulk, an international player from Ocel0t who just recently transfered to Scott City FC, played a major part in FC's win over Menomonie United. Not only did he score a nice hat-trick, but he also played an exceptionaly clean game, a rarity in the DPL. Hulk was the only player on SCFC to not commit a foul, or even go offside, an extreme feat for a new forward in the DPL. Hulk came off the bench in the 15th minute, after a knee injury sidelined Bryan Faulkner. He scored goals in the 34th, 56th, and 78th minutes to lead Scott City FC to a 3-1 victory over Menomonie.

It seems as though after only one practice and one game, FC Manager Georges Thomas, has been able to control Hulk's personality(at least for now). Hulk seemed very calm, and played like a true vetran. Thomas is one of the best Managers in the League, and maybe thats why he's the coach of the national team. With Thomas retiring as National Team Manager to focus on SCFC after the next World Cup, it may be no suprise if Hulk is signed to a multi year contract extension and turned into one of the top players in the world.

SCFC now has a real International Flavor
YUMM!

Givani Hulk update
June 28th, vs. Brham United, SCFC 2-BU 0, 0 goals, 1 assist
Hulk started his first game for FC, replacing injured Forward Bryan Faulkner. Hulk didn't have the same killer instinct present that he showed in the game on the 27th, but was still able to creat a goal in the 23rd minute, which was scored by FC Forward Kenneth Nolan. Hulk also was erratic at times, going offsides 4 times and commiting 3 fouls.

June 29th, vs. Darmen City FC, SCFC 3-DCFC 0, 1 goal, 0 assists
In Hulks second start, he seemed to calm down a bit and settle into FC's rythm. His goal came in the 75th minute on a Penalty Kick, when the kick went right and the goalie went left. Hulk commited only one foul and was caught offsides only once.

Hulks season stats as of June 29th
3 caps, 2 starts, 4 goals, 1 assists, 4 fouls commited, 5 offsides

Ret Fulton
June 29th, vs. Darmen City FC, SCFC 3-DCFC 0, 1 goal, 1 assist
Fulton is a new transfer player from Mangolana, and just like Hulk, a Forward. Fulton came in in the 56th minute for FC Forward Kenneth Nolan, and scored his first DPL goal in the 58th minute. Fulton also gave Zach Preston a nice pass to set up Preston's 88th minute goal, giving Fulton his assist. Fulton played a relatively clean game, ending up offsides only once.

International Players Update
Givani Hulk
June 30th, vs. South Darmen United, SCFC 1-SDU 0, 1 goal, 0assists
Hulk scored the only FC goal late in the game(88') after he was set up by Zach Preston. Hulk seemed to be a little irritated to the low amount of touches he got (14) but he sure made the most of them. Out of his 14 touches, 1 was a shot on goal that turned into a goal, 2 were shots on goal that were saved by the United goalie, and 4 others were shots that went wide or high of the goal. Thats 7 shots out of the 14 touches for Hulk. Not bad if you ask me.

Hulk season stats as of June 30th.
4 caps, 3 starts, 5goals, 1 assist, 5 fouls comitted, 7 offsides

Ret Fulton
June 30th, vs. South Darmen United, SCFC 1-SDU 0, 0 goals, 0assists
Fulton didn't impress much in his first start for FC. With both of FCs Forwards now being from outside Darmen , it was expected that FC would open up the floodgates and the goals would poor on. That didn't happen and Fulton was one of the reasons why. He comitted 3 fouls, gained a nice shiny yellow card, and found himself offsides not once, not twice, but six, yes six times.

Fulton season stats as of June 30th.
2 caps, 1 start, 1 goal, 1 assist, 3 fouls, 7 offsides, 1 yellow card

International Players Update
Scott City ain't the only one anymore!
In a move to try and draw more fans, Forden, signed Midfielder David Smith from Stuffed Taxidermists. Smith missed out on the regular season, but has made it in time for the Darmen Cup, which is set to begin in a week or two.

Individual player updates to come soon!

Lee returns after Vacation in Kagazka and Pazhujebu

Tor Tong Lee became the first Darmeni player to leave Darmen and play elsewhere, when he was transfered to Therakham ZL a few months ago. Two seasons later, Lee has come back to play again in the Darmen Premier League. He currently is a Free Agent, and it's not known who will win the bidding war for him.

Tor Tong Lee left Darmen to join a struggling Therakham ZL. Therakham had finished eigth in the 5248 KPFA League First Division, and many of it's supporters had picked it to finish in the lower half of the table. But Lee is good, and he took Therakham to a suprising start, as after ten matches, Therakham sat in fifth place, with a record of 5-3-2. Over the next ten matches, Therakham went 4-2-4, a respectable record, and had dropped to seventh in the table. Lee had been a major part of the suprising showing, by scoring five goals and handing out 8 assists in his first twenty games with Therakham. Going into the home stretch, Therakham went 6-2-2 in it's last ten games. Lee scored one goal and had four assists in those last ten games. Therakham finished the season 15-7-8, in sixth place. It was just one spot away from a Globe Cup Qualification spot. But still, Lee had given a very nice spark to Therakham ZL, and the fans were excited.

In the Šenapatiam'ajat Vahavi Cup, Therakham ZL faced Urajbina ZL in the Quarterfinals. Tor Tong Lee didn't score any goals, but he did provide an assist. However, it was not enough, as Therakham lost to Urajbina, 1-3 on aggregate, over the two game series.

Going into the 5250 KPFA League First Division, Lee and Therakham were expected to finish in the Top 5, and qualify for UICA competition. But Therakham struggled to repeat it's 5249 season success. Therakham finished ninth in the table, with a record of 11-8-11. Lee scored 6 goals in thirty games, and had 12 assists. In the Šenapatiam'ajat Vahavi Cup, Therakham would face Zhevassi in the Quarterfinals, but a Zhevassi goal in Extra Time sealed Therakham and Lee's fate.

Overall, Lee scored 12 goals and dished out 24 assists in his 64 games with Therakham ZL. He led Therakham to a 26-17-21 overall record over those 64 games. His performance abroad was very impressive, and we're sure that he'll be the next star in the DPL. Just about every team in the DPL will send Lee a contract offer, but Scott City FC and Eau Claire Aris FC have a leg up on the competition. Scott City FC has the advantage of a large bank acount, while Aris FC has the advantage of being Lee's former club. But whoever Lee decides to play for will probably find themselves towards the top of next years table.

Lee Suprises Many, signs with Whitecaps

Tor Tong Lee, who just returned from Kagdazka and Pazhujebu, shocked many fans by signing a ten year, 12 million NSD per year contract with the Rogerton Whitecaps. The Whitecaps finished dead last in the Darmen Premier League this season, and didn't do very well at all in the Darmen Cup. Most agree that the Whitecaps will have trouble paying Lee, but Lee said that he wants to help the Whitecaps reach the top of the table, and qualify for UICA competition.
