Er...how are we supposed to have another WCHC when the last one still doesn't have a legitimate champion after two months, exactly? Sorry if I come across rudely, but we still have an official champion who should have never been in the knockout stage in the first place.

I suppose I should come clean. The error was a big one. A really big one. And I apologise wholeheartedly. I recieved a telegram (which has now unfindable due to the fact I've recieved a ton, and it's gone off my inbox) from a nation (I'm failry sure it was Ancharmunn) saying that if we didn't hold it again, they'd take it over. I'm currently investigating this link, and will return shortly...

Aye, that was me. Over the course of the weekend I'll set about looking into what sort of format what be suitable and will set a deadline for entries.

With regards to the previous tournament, I think it's best to wipe the slate clean and move forward with getting the tournament going again.
I'm not on the Greenwich Meridian so my time is a few seconds behind. Bear that in mind.

I gotta agree.

In my opinion, WCHC1 should be nullified and done as if it didn't exist, and let this one that will be started by Ancharmunn as the legitimate WCHC1.

Also, when will the signups for the 10th Handball World Cup be open?

If you mean to void the previous WCHC tournaments and pretend they didn't happen, I'd reluctantly second third that proposal, although I'd prefer for the relevant rounds to be re-scorinated. However, I don't have a dog in that fight (my teams all bombed out in the group stage), and I recognize that the parties available for scorinating it may consider it too much of a hassle to be worth it. What I don't want is for the wrong team to persist with the championship.

Personally, Cyborg Holland, your straightforward apology is much appreciated, though I don't think it's a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. We all make mistakes, and it's a small tournament in the early going, when things are more flexible.

I agree with most of the above on ignoring the previous tournament. I guess it happens in the hassle of starting up something new, so please don't feel bad about this, Cyborg Holland.

Final (at Grand Handball Arena, Ballyfeeaknock, Ancharmunn, Tyneala)
El Monte (FSC) 27–24 GKGK (PIS)

Congratulations to El Monte who take the crown of world club handball champions. Entrance for the next tournament is now open with the deadline being provisionally set at 16:00 (UTC) Sunday 27th January 2013. Associations may again enter four teams each. All associations entering teams must publish a scorinated set of results (ie - final league table, plus playoff if the associations competition has them) within the last two WCHC cycles, in effect this means that The Royal Kingdom of Quebec and any new associations must have published results. All associations which participated in the most recent WCHC are invited to submit a single venue to be considered for hosting the final of the next edition. El Monte is assured a place as the title holder. If it fails to qualify for one of Free South Califas’s four places, it will replace the fourth-placed team. Ranks will be published in due course.

OOC Note - From what I gather it's just WCHC 2 that isn't deemed as legitimate. Therefore I plan to use the results of WCHC 1 and this latest edition (effectively making 2 void) for rankings, if there are any objections to this please do state.
I'm not on the Greenwich Meridian so my time is a few seconds behind. Bear that in mind.

Does this mean that I'll have to publish just the season results for WCHC entrants for the next edition or also for this one(one that just finished)?

Also, can I open the signup thread for the 10th Edition of Handball World Cup?
