Welcome to the International Domestic Lacrosse Association (IDLA), which has been established in order to manage global lacrosse leagues, and run both the Lacrosse Champions Cup and the Lacrosse Challenge Cup.

This is the place to post all leagues, and any RPs patterning to it, for the premier season all associations are permitted to submit two sides to the Lacrosse Champions Cup (to be scorinated by The Sarian), each user is allowed a maximum of one puppet and multi-associational leagues are granted four place, of which no more than three may be from the same association. As per IDLA rules, teams must qualify on sporting merit.

Associations are permitted to submit three sides to the Lacrosse Challenge Cup (to be scorinated by Jeckland), as with Champions Cup Qualification, multi-associational leagues are granted six places, of which no more than four may be from the same association. The Challenge Cup is for sides who fell short of qualifying for the Lacrosse Champions Cup, but must still qualify on sporting merit.

Domestic Lacrosse Associations are also allowed to bid to host for the right to host each final, if no bids are received, the default stadium is the Oakhurst Stadium in The Sarian for the Champions Cup and Ordbury Stadium in Jeckland for the Challenge Cup.

The tentative deadline for entries to the first LCC is Saturday. 4th October. A more definitive deadline will be given closer to the time.

1st Season of the Ligue Nationale de Lacrosse

The Ligue Nationale de Lacrosse is the top professional lacrosse league in Nouvelle-Gaule, and its format closely resembles that of the major professional sports leagues in North America; the eighteen franchise teams of the league are sorted into two conferences. The Conférence Nord comprises the following teams: Alouettes de Le Royer, Argonautes de Fort Rouillé, Bisons de Beau Fleuve, Bombardiers Bleus de Fort Rouge, Chats Sauvages de Durand, Lions de Fort Pontchartrain, Rouge et Noir de Brûlé, Verts de La Baye, Vikings de Hennepin. The Conférence Sud comprises the following teams: Alligators de Le Moyne, Bruns de Brissot, Chefs de Veniard, Fusils de Rousseau, Moutons de Chouteau, Mustangs de La Framboise, Ours de Point du Sable, Tigres de Rome, Titans de Marat.

Each team faces the other teams belonging to its conference thrice, and the teams belonging to the other conference only once. The first team of each conference is automatically admitted to the playoffs, while the second and the third team compete in a tie-breaker match. The four qualified teams compete in the playoffs; the final takes place in the stadium of the team that won the regular season. The winner of the final and the runner-up qualify for the Lacrosse Champions Cup, while the three best regular season teams (excluding the Lacrosse Champions Cup qualifiers) qualify for the Lacrosse Challenge Cup.

Horrible match for Rousseau - the coach was immediately fired afterwards.

Cosumarite Lacrosse League (CLL)

The CLL consisted of just six struggling franchises when it was founded 20 years ago, and only had twelve member teams six years ago. In the short time since, its popularity has risen rapidly thanks in part to Cosumar's sustained success in the World Lacrosse Championships. Numerous expansion teams have been added (now 24 teams total), bringing lacrosse to most major Cosumarite markets to meet the rising demand for the sport. Though the CLL's attendance and TV ratings are still dwarfed by soccer (FSF) and american football (CFA), its surging popularity and high level of play have made Cosumar something of an international leader for the sport.

As such, the CLL is proud to announce that it will be sending teams to the first ever IDLA competitions, based on the results of the 998 season.

League Format: 24 teams, half in Eastern and half in Western Conference. Single round robin season. Top 12 advance to a single-elimination playoff for the CLL Championship (called the Silver Cup). Seeds 1-4 have first round byes.

Here are the regular season standings:

It was only five years ago when the NLL folded after years of bad management and financial fraud. In 2009 then Commissioner Dan Hugston announced that the NLL was officially folding after losing over WG 31.9 million between the years 2001 to 2008. At the worst the league downsized from a high of 56 teams to only six, even with the downsizing the leagues woes continued as they were forced to cancel the rest of the 2008 season after the first eight games had been played. The Port Salem Dolphins were crowned league champions despite not having any playoffs.

In early 2011 several Gemsbrook businessmen joined together in order to re-establish the historic league which started play in 1977. The league which is a continuation of the one that folded in 2009 started with only six teams of which were owned and operated by the league. Since 2011 the league has seen success not seen since the boom of the late 1980s and early 1990s, however this time around league officials will be more cautious when expanding the league. Current Commissioner Sammuel Xifiny says that the league is looking forward to expanding to 16 teams by next year. The franchises that will join are ones who are located in cities that in the past have shown heavy support for their teams.

Whether or not this thread is dead, since UCIA is doing transfers I see no reason not to do the same with our players.

My players age 3 per-WLC
Name Pos. Age Height Weight Club Price($)
Xi Jong Midfield 23 6'2 188 New Haven $1.825 million
Blake Burke Goal Keeper 26 5'9 196 Port Salem $3.8 miilion
Dave Allan Defend 33 5'5 217 Allison $670,001
Jose Juaneriz Midfield 30 6'1 201 Gem City $701,700

Xi Jong comes with a contract buy out of $825,000 which is included in the price.

I highlighted Burke and Jong here
