Constituting a participation of 22 teams to the Trophy of Champions and 26 teams to the Falcon Plate. The question by Ark to participate solely in the Plate has been accepted. The entry by the Valladar Basketball Association has been accepted, but is a sole exception and will require a new and complete entry for the next season. The organisers behind the IUBC also advice Super-Llamaland to direct himself to more conventional scorinators in the future, in case of questions, he’s encouraged to TG them.

VENUE BIDDING

With only two bids, no procedure was conducted. The two locations were both accepted to host the first final of either tournament. Therefore, ...

THE TROPHY OF CHAMPIONS FINAL

Will be staged in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texacano. This venue can accommodate 65.000 fans for each of the maximally seven final games of the Trophy.

THE FALCON PLATE FINAL FOUR

Will be staged in the LvivCom Arena in Lviv, Ukrainya. This venue can accommodate 20.000 fans for the games from the Final Four of the Falcon Plate.

FORMAT ADAPTATIONS

With 22 participants, a preliminary round had to be conducted.
The four nations previously participating to the IUBC (Valladares, Ko-oren, Northern Sunrise Islands and Darmen) see their champion participating in the Trophy of Champions immediately. The remaining 18 teams are drawn into six groups of three, double round-robin, from which the last one gets relegated to the Falcon Plate. The remaining 12 teams join the four other ones into the first round of the Trophy of Champions. The group stages will have four groups of four and will be conducted by double round-robin. The quarterfinals and semi-finals will be best of five, with the final being a best of seven games, each of them played in the Alamodome.

The 26 original participants are joined by the six teams that dropped out of the preliminary round of the Trophy of Champions, constituting 32 participants.
The main format will be a double round-robin with eight groups of four. Afterwards will follow home-and-away games until a Final Four will be played. This will be one-off semi-finals, a third place match and a final in the LvivCom Arena.

The remaining champions were drawn out of pot 1, the runner-ups and the champion of Buyan formed pot two. The draw had as sole limitation that no two teams from the same nation could be in a single group.

ATTN: INTERNATIONAL BASKETBALL PLAYERS
The top-ranked basketball league in the world, the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto of Texacano, is opening up its draft to international players for the first time in its existence. Agents representing international players wanting to play at the highest levels of club basketball are asked to notify the LNB headquarters in Austin of their players' intent for the draft. It is recommended that a highlight reel or at least a statistical and narrative description of each player be submitted along with the letter of intent. Letters should be postmarked no later than 7 September 2013 for consideration.

Being drafted only guarantees a club exclusive Texacano baskeball rights to a player; it does not guarantee a contract. The club's hold on a drafted player lasts for two seasons, after which the player is free to sign with any LNB team.
