After a lengthy beer-pong tourney, Qazox, and more specifically the city of SaxerVilla will be the host site for the 14th Champions Hockey League Finals. Tickets will go on sale this Thursday at 8:59 am, QST (UTC -4.5). Only 17,000 Tickets will eb on sale at the SaxerDome box office, and perchases will be limited to 5 tickets per person at the box office. Of the remaining 40,000 tickets, 10,000 are being with held for sale to the two teams who will play in the Final (5,000 each) and the other 30,000 will be on sale on the following two websites ONLY: SaxerDome.qzx/event_tickets and CHLTickets.com

The Gunners fought their way to the top of the table by a sizable berth over the chasing Bloodhounds. But after both teams dispatched their opposition in close semifinals, it would be the latter who made the most of their home-ice advantage when they got it, seeming to tire out the Bloodhounds after the long trek and then sweeping their way to a final-series victory.

The Bloodhounds, of all teams! No one ever thought really thought they could do it, least of all themselves, and at first seeing their local rivals sink to the bottom of the table saw them feel less "ha ha look at you suck" proud and more "groan groan it just proves we're too far away to be competitive" sulk. Now, however, they'll happily eat their words and celebrate this very improbable title.

Gunners fans, meanwhile, will just be like "huh, look at where our wide lead got us, pretty much nothing." Which, they can whine, but at least playoffs are more hockey. We really do like hockey. Have we made that point?

At first, it was supposed to be a series of international leagues - but then a good chunk of Futurnia realised they didn't have enough interest amongst themselves to build leagues of their own.

Thus, the Snowflake International League was born!

Unlike most leagues, it's biennial, hence the large amount of games. Also, since it's international, while everyone plays each other at some point, the national teams still dispute amongst themselves for a place in the playoffs, up to two teams per nation. There's also a nice trophy for each national champion awaiting the end of the regular season.

SEASON 4

While international competition seems to have died off, aside from the Snowflake International League, the Sunrise Hockey League decided to continue playing for another season.

This season featured four teams debuting as the Lynder Aces, the San Jose Sharks, the Darveston Islanders and the Hayden Whalers debuted, while the International Conference squared out of the league, with the Genryisai Dragons, the Powerslave Killers, the Neo Toronto Mounties and the Metropolis Slicers started play at the newly founded Snowflake International League.

With the Divisional format and subsequent Playoffs eliminated, the 36 teams of the Super League embarked on a 70 game season, each team playing the other thirty-five teams twice, once at home and once on the road. Scott City Oilers claimed another championship, and many wonder if their dominance will ever be broken. Bögle BK finished twelth, but were the lowest ranked Darmeni team, and thus were relegated back into the National League after only a single season in the Super League. The Super League decided to only send six entrants into the Champions Hockey League, rather than the previous eight. Each nation was gauranteed at least one team in the CHL, which meant that both the Chippewa Falls Blackhawks and Chuckio HC were left out of the CHL, and the Nomanor Eagles, despite finishing eighth, would be moving on.
