A few notes on procedure:
With 72 teams submitted from eighteen leagues (wat - that beats the previous record of 64 set in RUCT7), a drastic solution was required. (Also, I am tired, and I had to spend a lot of time attempting to reset IP addresses and subnet masks in order to get online tonight.) As more than half of all teams entering will be out before the group stage, I am taking the executive decision to start splitting the posting of the tournament. 1st day will be pre-group stage, 2nd will be the group stage, 3rd the knockouts. I will also take this opportunity to start working on a better ranking system.

The entrants from Kriegiersien were rejected as despite TG contact no league results were forthcoming. Those leagues that were entering with at least one team holding a rank had their league champions awarded a bye to the group stage. With fourteen teams awarded byes, that left fifty-eight to play the knockout qualifying rounds, both of which were randomly drawn with no team from the same league allowed to play another. The qualifiers from leagues submitting no ranked teams were put together with the bottom two qualifiers of the other leagues with previous ranks, with the twenty-two winners of those matches joined the remaining fourteen teams in a round of thirty-six. The eighteen winners of this round then joined the fourteen byes in the group stage. For the Group Stage, teams were seeded by rank, and then randomly drawn, with no two teams from the same league permitted in the same group.

The draw for the Round of Sixteen is drawn randomly so every runner-up played away to a group winner, with no two teams from the same league permitted to play each other. Remaining rounds were drawn randomly.

Congratulations to Northbrook Harlequins, whose fans will be delighted to pull level with their fierce rivals Citizens RFC on RUCT titles at long last after threatening for so long. Losing to a Polarian club in the final had up until now been an honour reserved only for other Polarian clubs, so Riverside County do have that 'honour'. Their rise to the final does show the rise of Califan rugby however, as does seeing Vulpecula in the semi finals for Ko-oren. So, the future is bright.

Khytenna Federal Rugby Union Championship

Daeca once again lift the trophy as champions of Khytenna, an interesting session with Ty Myr battling till the end for there first title in 10 years, in the end they where just beaten by a experienced team. in mid-table Boa-Ky, a team that is useraly battling for first place, found themsleves 6 after a very lacklustre session, they will have to look to themsleves for a better session, especaly if the players want to get in the national side.

ART Season Five

The 5th season of Apoxian rugby has taken place, and to be honest, it doesn't look like much has changed. JK Memorial Squad take home a 3rd title, and the first consecutive title, after overcoming a 7 point gap behind Mandon Faithful with 4 games to go. The Seasogs qualifiers are the from the usual crew, with Northern Urbanista and Dwile Jerseys joining this time. Hudd Trolls, after a excellent start, faded, finishing 5th, while belwo that it was business as usual as Oldem Academicals and Gwinevra Saints finished mid-table and Sourthern Urbanista, Barbury Exiles and Mona Warriors all finish out the table.

About TSP Super 20 Rugby League

The TSP Super 20 is the premier sporting league in The Scout Promise. Founded as the Tri-Nations Rugby League by six clubs from three lands, it has expanded in recent years to include 20 sides from 12 nations. Super 20 plays rugby league, although several clubs also field separate union fifteens. Representatives of the league are invited to the RUCT Seasogs Championship notwithstanding the differences in customary code.

Expansion No, New Cities Yes!

After the season 11 collapse of expansion talks, the deal-makers got to work. Incentives were on offer for struggling clubs, particularly those in nations that hosted two sides. The clamor of voices outside Super 20 territory was winnowed to the likeliest backers. And presently the long-discussed pact became real: Super 20 would remain at 20, but three existing clubs were bought out and moved to three new host countries. Misesstadt would hop the pond to London on Brownsea Island in Baden-Powell. McMurdo moved a short ways south to Auldburgh in Esperantujo. And Zarahemla packed their bags for a long journey to Taone Pango, that native moniker winning favor over the better-known name Blacksburg. Ka Mate fans were particularly excited by the news, given their victorious bid to host the world cup of rugby union.

But success will require time for the transplants, as they clustered near mid-pack when all was said and done. Pasgarmises were back after the preceding season's crushing disappointment was met with a sacking and several signings. They couldn't quite stop Woomera from bringing home their third crown, though, and neither of those two sides was as great a story as the lifting of founding club Hyde Park from obscurity to their first Seasogs berth in nine campaigns.

A few notes on procedure:
With 40 teams submitted from ten leagues (all of which had previously submitted leagues), a drastic solution was required.

The entrants from Khytenna were rejected due to suspcious GF and GA columns that would indicate a rugby scorinator was not used. The entrants from Schmiegelland were also rejected, and the user themselves admitted they couldn't be bothered to create an actual rugby competition. If you lot can't be bothered, don't expect me to be.

All leagues that were accepted had their top two qualifiers given byes to the group stage. With twenty teams awarded byes, that left twenty. These third and fourth place qualifiers were mixed together and seeded by rank, with the top four also awarded byes to the group stage. This left sixteen to play the qualifying round, which was randomly drawn with no team from the same league allowed to play another. The eight winners of this round then joined the byes in the group stage.

For the Group Stage, teams were seeded by rank, and then randomly drawn, with no two teams from the same league permitted in the same group.

The draw for the Round of Sixteen is drawn randomly so every runner-up played away to a group winner, with no two teams from the same league permitted to play each other. Remaining rounds were drawn randomly.
