This is the C-League's first season. The C-League is a reformation of the Camwood Cup. The A Series is the top tier, and the B Series - Coastal League and B Series - Apollo Sports© League are both leagues of the second tier, and the C Series is the third and final tier of the C-League. The bottom two teams of the A Series relegate to one of the B Series leagues, which one goes where depends on geographic location. The bottom team from each B Series team relegate into the C Series, which promotes two teams to both B Leagues depending on geographic location. All Leagues play a double round robin. 3 points are awarded for a win, and one is awarded for a draw.

Opening Day

It's Opening Day here in the C-League and what a great Opening Day it's been. Kevin Torress and the Vanler Dynamo brought their A Game versus Yellow Beach Universe. Torress even got a hattrick. Inter Compolis escaped with a narrow victory over the Port Kostas Strikers. The IC v. PKS match up should be a rivalry for years to come. FC Clemson beat Petmonton FC 1-0, as well as New Athens over White Rock with an identical score: 1-0.

After Ten

Ten weeks is a big milestone in the C-League season; it marks the final pursuit to make up ground. Vanler Dynamo sits with tie with the New Athens United. Meanwhile Manager Justin Kiplin, the national team Manager, and Sporting White Rock is fighting to avoid relegation. Port Kostas is eyeing YB Universe to be elgible for international play

Season Review

It was a great season. Vanler dynamo was able to break thirty points and get the title. Kiplin, and Sporting White Rock avoided relegation, and got above fifteen points. The underdog of the season was YB Universe, who in the end, deseated Inter Compolis to get the third spot. The Strikers were not able to get into fourth and will miss international play.

96 goals is the recipe for an Eater banket

Just when everyone was thinking this year's Duke League would be a contest between two clubs (Battle and Pyramid AC), Cannibals, Warriors and Romans decided to jump in and mess things up a little. As it turns out, it was one of the most close calls in the last seasons, with the four forementioned clubs fighting a very close fight until the end of the season.

In the end it was all about one number: 96. This was the amount of goals scored by Cannibals, an amazing mark (third only to Warriors' 101 goals in DL-III and Battle's 99 in DL-IX) that allowed the club to win the crown in the 37th matchday, even if the runner-up Battle could tie with the Eaters in matter of points. Cannibals won its first DL and made its fanatic crowd of supporters wild all over Cannibaland.

Battle ended second only two points behind the champion, the same amount of third place Warriors and one less than 4th place Romans.

In the bottom end of the table, the surprises were the non-relegation of Super and Duke League rookies Imperial FC. Worst for Sligdish, Drooler, Brilliant and Morphologic. Next year will see the comebacks of DL-XIV winner Goyoreh, this year's International Cup winner Bloodthirsty Killers, TFC and long-time-no-sees Coconut Trees.

Avidia also took advantage of this, beating Linford comfortably to steal second place; they're still eight points off top spot though.

KFA Cup Third Round
It's a quieter round, this one, but still plenty of room for one Premier Division side to be toppled by lower-league opposition. Step forward Foxchester Rovers, who were done over on their own turf by Walton City of the Second Division. Walton aren't the only Second Division side in the quarters, either, though that's a bit of a cheat as Prutton versus Westleigh was always going to provide a team from the basement - though goals were at a premium, with only one goal scored in the entirety of 120 minutes and the shootout.

Among the top sides, meanwhile, Casuals, Royal Emberton, and Avidia United advanced comfortably against inferior opposition, but Mercia's season is beginning to fall apart, as they go out to Stanton.

Casuals are turning into a bit of a spoiler. After beating Mercia last week, it was Ousevale's turn to drop points at New Coalfields. The Tigers escaped with a single point, and Avidia closed the gap slightly with a win over Aigburth. Behind them, though, Mercia's blank against lowly Kallia sees them drop pace further, and Royal Emberton's win over rock-bottom Caversham means Casuals' hard-earned point still sees them drop to fifth.

The mid-season honeymoon ends with a thump for Casuals, as they get thumped at the Isserson; only goal difference now separates them from New Cefn and seventh place. At the top, though, it's normal business resumed for Ousevale against hapless Kovenham, and with second and third only managing draws, the Tigers are stretching away again.

Ousevale prove they're not infallible, letting a two-goal lead slip at home to Emberton Reds, and surely the title race will get a bit more interesting now...

Except it doesn't. Avidia United are booed off the pitch after a shock defeat to the Dragons, and only Mercia's shonky goal difference keeps the Eagles in second. Behind them, meanwhile, Royal Emberton do a number on Neathill to put themselves within touching distance of a Champions' Cup place, and New Cefn are up to fifth after victory over a fading Casuals side.

Stanton Town once again prove their unpredictability, with their home game against Mercia a microcosm of being a Dockers fan. Four-two up after a thrilling first half, the wheels don't so much fall of as disintegrate spectacularly, as the Bromham side score five more without reply.

It makes little difference to the table, though, as Avidia United thrash the Saints and Ousevale ensure New Cefn's stay in fifth spot is a short one.

It's down to brass tacks now in the cup, as the eight remaining sides are just three games away from that Cygnus Cup spot - and with Mercia out, the chance to be the second Krytenian side in this year's competition.

Rather unsurprisingly, it's the end of the road for our two remaining sides from outside the top flight. Prutton did well, but could not cope with Avidia United's stellar midfield; Walton, meanwhile, were halted rather than humbled by Casuals. All that was left was for Bradwell to squeeze past Stanton, and Royal Emberton to make a meal of knocking out Aigburth, and the semi-final line-ups were complete.

Avidia United miss their chance to make life interesting at the top of the table as they can only draw with the leaders in the big game at the Southern Arena. At the bottom, meanwhile, Foxchester record a rare win over New Cefn to haul themselves off the foot of the table; they're still seven points from safety, though.

Series B Champions' Cup: City of Metropolis Stadium, Metropolis (Cap. 47,826)

City of Metropolis Stadium is an all-seater football stadium, located in the district of Poblado (one of the wealthy districts of the city), to the southeast of Metropolis, and was built in 1953 for the VI Juegos Nacionales de Valladares, held in Metropolis. After the event, Metropolis Alligators and Club Nacional started playing their matches there, however, with Nacional's downfall in the 80's and 90's, the Alligators were left as the sole tenants of the stadium until Marinos Metropolis reached an agreement with the City Mayoralty to play there from 1994 to 2001, when both Alligators and Marinos moved to the Metropolis Dome. For the fourteenth Valladar Super League season, Club Nacional returned to the stadium and they, along with Metropolis City FC (Tercera Liga de Valladares team), are the current tenants of the stadium. This stadium also hosted five matches of the Valladares Interzonal, which awarded three berths to the World Cup 54 finals, in Cassadaigua and the Babbage Islands.

It was rated by the Valladar Football Association (VFA) as an A-Class Stadium, the second highest rating given by the VFA to any stadium in Valladares, after the Top Stadium rating (which has only been awarded so far to the National Stadium in Metropolis and White Meadow Arena in Carloburgo). It was recently expanded with the addition of new bars, restaurants and corporate entertainment areas.

With all seven matches kicking off simultaneously to begin this season of football, Matcday One brought some rather interesting results. The fans were out in force on a Sunday afternoon and with their minds hooked up on the internal conflicts currently going on in the nation, football proved to be an excellent release. Of all the matches the most exciting proved to be the nil-all draw between Fuji Hōrō-sha and Hojosan which saw both clubs pick up one point in a match that went down to the wire with many missed opportunities on both sides. Another interesting match was San'airiando's somewhat unexpected victory over Kyōhō FC off the backs of fifteen year old striker Lita Adjei who scored his first career club goal.

The second matchday brought even more exciting football action. Due to a few matches being played on weekday afternoons, there was a marked reduction in the amount of fans watching the league. By far, the most exciting action had to be in San'airiando where the club beat heavy favourites and defending champions Montoriōruekusupozu in a high scoring 3-2 victory. Starting striker Lita Adjei once again surprised fans by scoring the go-ahead goal for the club. Other than that match though, most fell along the predicted lines though Júan Mexíco's late game goal did work to ease the tension for FC Edo in a match with Hojosan which looked to be a draw up until that point.

The third set of matches in the top flight saw a rather high amount of draws as four of the seven matches played out to an even score line. Naturally this was regarded as rither a minor victory or a major defeat for some clubs. Such was the case for FC Edo, who in all aspects, dominated the weaker Mahalo side but, were unable to score a goal that counted (they netted three balls but they were all called offside. Also in the news was San'airiando who had become a bit of a story over the first few matches with their two wins (going counter to what most expected). Unfortunately for them, they lost to NE Edo in a 3-1 away fixture that was sure to disappoint fans at home.

Matchday Four saw some more exciting action in the top flight. While attendances at this point have started to dwindle for clubs who have done poorly, many of the more casual fans are still being drawn to the stadium and with good reason. The table is still close and many teams are showing that they at least have some chance at potentially doing well. The big example of this so far has been San'airiando who drew with the slightly stronger Nippon Fuji but, other clubs have been doing it as well. Most notable is Mahalo Ken who at the end of five weeks sits in a very close race for second place.

The most recent matchday saw some more exciting action as many clubs are finally getting into their groove. By far the best viewing was in Edo where the cross town derby between rivals FC Edo and Denki Edo saw a 3-2 thriller that could have easily gone both directions. While still early in the season, one could tell that both clubs were going all out in the hopes that they would be able to best their rival in front of a sellout crowd whose support was split rather evenly between the two sides. In that match, Mexíco, who is in his first season in The Yorozuya made yet another good impression upon FC Edo fans as he netted two goals and throughout the match was a force on the offense. Another strong performer was fellow Virabi Orión who has been doing rather strongly on the defensive end for a club that has been playing like the heavy favourites to take home the league title this season.

On the whole it is much too early to get any clear picture of where the league is headed this early in the season by simply looking at the table however, we can begin to see some gaps open uip between the top half and the bottom half. Fortunately for those closer to the bottom half, the gap can still be bridged rather easily and a poor start shouldn't be too much to worry about. That being said clubs like Denki Edo and Kyōhō will have to start turning their fortunes around sooner rather than later lest they want to avoid being caught in the relegation zone.

THE BIRTH OF A NEW NATION

Just 24 hours after Cascratia announced its birth as a nation, Esmour Heron the first president of Cascratia has announced another great news. Not a housing scheme. Not a road connection between places in Cascratia. Not an economic plan. Not even a plan to get enough food supply for the citizens. So what did Esmour Heron announced? A football league.

“Passports? Done. Currency? Done. Stamps? Done. Anthem? Done. Internet domain name? Done. Now the only thing we need to be a real nation is a decent football team. We can wait for a modern capital but not a football team.” said Esmour Heron in his first ever press conference after the birth of Cascratia.

The newly formed team will practise on simple facilities as football stadiums around the country are being built. The football squad might train among the goats on scrubby patches of grass but the country has high hopes including taking part in the qualification of the 58th World Cup and the 45th Baptism of Fire in Kagdazka and Pazhujebu & Astograth.

As for a national football league, Esmour Heron has instructed every city to come up with a team organized by each city council. 32 cities and towns have registered their interest with the first 16 teams to register playing in the Cascratian First Division and the next 16 teams to register playing in the Cascratian Second Division. This is the birth of a new league. This is the birth of a new nation.

CASCRATIAN FIRST SEASON CONCLUDED

Much promise can be seen from the first season of Cascratian football league. The people of Cascratia actually knows how to play. That's the most important thing. It might not be beautiful but at least they know the rules. The favourite has got to be the boys from the capital city of Cascratia, Arcova but challenge do come from the boys from the city of art, Knoxcrest and the boys from the capital city of the state of Swaleos, Montaire.

The football was played among the goats on scrubby patches of grass in each city and town but the attendance is higher than expected. Thousands of Cascratian flocks to the field to witness the historical first ever season of the Cascratian football league. Some even have to climb up the surrounding trees to have a good view.

In the end, it was Knoxcrest who managed to clinch the title with Arcova following closely. Amini, Hamalia and Grovemore will be playing in the Cascratian Second Division next season. Well at least they can still fight for a place in the SBCC next season.

At the lower tier, Veyracova shows that they don't belong to the Cascratian Second Division. It was a total domination by them from the first whistle until the end of the 30th game. They will be playing in the top division next season alongside Woodcaster and Winberderry.

Gelendzhik's gray and stony architecture hides a history of class upheaval and racial strife. But from this history arises a deeply developed football culture, with a whopping four different Gelendzhik sides having appeared in the KPFA League First Division. One of those teams, based out of the eastern buroughs of the city, is the old and traditional club Gimnasia. If ever a sports team was rescued from the brink of destruction, it was when Unitopolitan newspaper tycoon bought Gimnasia and built them a desperately-needed new stadium, this one, a small but modern venue built from steel with industrialist bronze piping and teal decor all around the interior. It only seats thirty-five thousand people, but the steep tilt of the stands keeps everyone very close to the pitch.

Globe Cup - Yuzhniy Veter Stadion, Gelendzhik, Kagdazka (51,000 seats)

If FKM are Kagdazka's left-wing club for over-educated socialist academics, Vulkan are the country's left-wing club for the genuinely poor and downtrodden. Another Gelendzhik team, this club's stadium is among the more scenic in the country despite its fans' reputation for being destitute. The venue is constructed from dark red brick and pink clay, with four large but very simple stands on every side of the pitch, giving it the appearance of a large maroon and pink rectangle growing out of Gelendzhik's mostly-concrete cityscape. An absolutely classic locale for a football match, the Yuzhniy Veter has recently been getting more looks as a venue for international matches as a revitalization project is bringing down crime in the area around the arena.

2017 Season Preview
This season should prove to be one of the most exciting that we have seen in recent history, as, for the first time, several Stachlandic teams feature international players on their rosters. The perennially mediocre Gurchar Penguins were the major winners on the international market, reeling in two defenders from Megadia and a goalkeeper from Zarbli, while the Chevrin Nova, Lipachi White Falcons, Everett Nationals, Chevronia Capitals, and Wolseley Generals all picked up at least one foreign prospect.

PRE-SEASON TOP TEN
1. LIPACHI WHITE FALCONS — Having acquired forward Ivan Hassan from the nation of Polar Islandstates, the White Falcons may have discovered the final piece to their championship puzzle.

2. CHEVRIN NOVA — With two members of Stachland's national team on the starting eleven—not to mention new acquisition Gustav Celik from Polar Islandstates—the Nova seem to be in a good position to finally win their first National Series championship.

3. DIKALBE THUNDER DEVILS — Last year's runners-up have only improved, with goalkeeper Kordian Klimecki leading a powerful, if underappreciated, squad.

4. GURCHAR MARINERS — The champions are looking shaky early on, but they still easily outmatch all but the best of the other National Series teams.

5. BRUNTESVILLE GLIDERS — Having broken the hold of the "Big Five" on the postseason last year, the Gliders will be looking for their first appearance in the championship match in team history.

6. CARDRAKE FRONDS — The Fronds failed to land any major international players, though not for lack of trying. They will have to make do with what is easily the best group of Stachlandic defenders of this era.

7. CHEVRONIA STARS — The perpetual contenders from the capital have found themselves on the outside looking in for several years now. Their last championship was in 2011.

8. MANJU ISLAND KINGFISHERS — Four straight championship match appearances —with three victories—came to an end last season, but expect the Kingfishers to remain competitive.

9. WILHELMSBORG TITANS — The Titans are not dynamic, and their chances for a championship are slim, but they are, if nothing else, consistently a contender.

10. EVERETT NATIONALS — Though the Nationals finished near the bottom of the league last year, as they have for much of the last decade, their acquisition of Calandre Brunault and Jos Mizuno bodes well for the embatted squad.

V-League: 25th Season Summary
(Note: The 25th Season took place sometime between World Cup's 32 and 50. Do not request to transfer for any players on any teams (In fact, I have tried not to mention them, and omitted individual stats for this reason, almost all the players from Season 25 have sinced retired and are now coaches or no longer active. The league took a break to focus on Academy development before returning after World Cup 57 for Season 26, which will be upcoming in the near future and open for participation.)

Season 25, the final Season before the gap, was also the first season for Tivali United, a local club located between Tivali City and the Tivali Jungle, who's previous claim to fame was being Season 13 Vilitan Cup semi-finalists. Also promoted into the league system were Yutzie Sorma, a team with a much more storied history than Tivali United. Founding members of the Declasse, Yutzie Sorma were season 5 Declasse champions, but spent much of their history bouncing back and forth between the Stellar and Declasse divisions, before being relegated from the league system after Season 22.

The Season started out with The Tropical Trophy competition, between the Stellar Division runners up Eastal Lunar and Cup Champions, and 5 time consecutive Stellar Division Winners, Santo Kecker's Jungle Strike FC. However, it was Eastal Lunar who lifted the Tropical Trophy for the first time in club history. Strike got a goal back through a Derek Valkanis penalty in the 79th minute, but it was not enough as Eastal had 2 second half goals to stand on already.

After a shocking relegation in Season 23, Marine Coast rebounded quickly as Declasse Champions. Their prize for a return to the Stellar Division was not as nice, a 0-3 trouncing at the hands of defending champions Strike. The hot started ended quickly for Strike however, a draw at Cednia Beach followed by defeat against Kiiarana saw them on just 4 points after 3 games.

After 16 games, Strike had clawed back up the table to 2nd place, but 7 draws had left them 8 points behind Arcticala Inlet with 12 games to play. Newly promoted Marine Coast had slipped into the relegation zone. Defeats to Kionao Locals and Kiiara-Torra began to derail Tivali United's dream run as they slipped to 2nd place, 3 points clear of Morata Valley in 3rd as former Stellar Division side and 3 time Declasse Champions Jlinal Cove moved atop the table. Jlinal Cove clinched their return to the top flight with a 1-0 victory over Liguon Valley. Tivali United's 0-0 draw put them 2 points clear of Kionao Locals with just one match to play, while Yutzie Sorma were relegated as quickly as they had come up, with Laiotia Locals needing a miracle on the final matchday to avoid a similar fate.

With 5 games to play, Arcticala Inlet had all but lifted the trophy, sitting 13 points clear of draw-happy Strike, however, with a showdown between the two sides looming on the final matchday, the 5-time defending champions would be ready to pounce should the Electricians drop any points. Makosile continued a strong season that included a 2-0 victory over Arcticala Inlet, sitting level 3rd and looking for their highest league finish in club history. The pride of Crosaibi, Marine Coast United, had fought 3 points clear of the relegation zone where Turoki United and Mliona-Lpaka Turori sat.

Arcticala suffered defeat in round 22, but Strike could only pull 1 point back with a draw leaving them 12 (9) points back with 4 (3) games to play. But the run was on and Arcticala's form started to let them down. In round 23, the 10-man Electricians dropped a shocker to relegation battlers Turoki United and a lone goal by Emakra Laniora. Strike emphatically crushed the Turoki Tide 3-0 to close the gap to 9 points with 3 to play, leaving the slimmest of chances, but keeping themselves mathematically alive.

Strike won again in Round 24 against the Yeaddin Owls, but Arcticala Inlet's goalless draw with Turoki Isle put them just out of the Jungle Strike's reach and the run of 5 straight titles was going to come to an end with Callum Banda's Arctical Inlet securing their second ever title. Strike had already secured 2nd place but the battle for 3rd was a hot one as Cednia Beach, Eastal Lunar, Makosile, Kiiarana and Inland Peaks were all battling for the hotly contested spot. Mliona-Lpaka had secured their relegation spot already but the real battles would take place in Turoki as the Tide, United and Turoki Isle were all within reach of the relegation zone. Victory over Lopinka on the final matchday saw the Tide leapfrog Turoki United to escape the relegation zone, and saw United relegated on goal differential. It ended a dismal run of Stellar Division seasons for Turoki United, having finished in the bottom third of the table but narrowly escaped relegation for 7 straight seasons. At the other end of the table, Arcticala Inlet and Strike played a goalless draw in the passing of the torch match between the new and former champions, while Cednia Beach's victory over Eastal Lunar on the final matchday secured third place for them. Makosile United finished in 4th for the second consecutive season matching the clubs all time best placement.

Declasse debutants Tivali United won their first ever League game 1-0 against Irougil. The incredible run continued through the first 7 games as not only were the debutants unbeaten, but they had yet to concede a single goal. hat all changed with a visit to Kionao Minor Field in Turori however, as Kionao Locals broke down the wall in a 3-1 victory. Despite defeat, Tivali still found themselves atop the table after 8 matches. After 20 games, many expected Tivali to fall but they stood strong averaging nearly 2 points per game and 4 points clear of FC Almintora in 3rd place. Jlinal Cove was just one point out of the top spot. The battle to avoid relegation was also heating up as Irougil were just 1 point off the bottom of the table after being in the Stellar Division just one season prior.

The heartbreak was complete on the final matchday, as Tivali United crashed to a 0-2 defeat away to Mavaloiao which sent them outside the top 2 for the first time all season, after Kionao Turori Locals 1-0 win over Inland Rovers. It was the heartbreak felt round the country made worse by the replacement of a Turorian side in the promotion zone. Yutzie Sorma and Laiotia Locals completed their relegation season. Kionao's defender was named top player of the season as the Turorian side conceded just 11 goals over the 26 match season.

In the group stage, Group 1 was topped by Non-League Riailia Village who could not defeat Stellar Division side Mliona-Lpaka, but beat Jaguar Moreda and Laiotia Locals to secure progression to the knockout rounds including a first round bye. Group 2 went mostly as planned with Tivali City and Turoki United defeating their Non-League counterparts to advance, though Stellar Division Turoki advanced only on goals scored tiebreaker over Alikki AFC. In Group 3, Declasse side Mavaloiao were trumped by former League side Lonngeylin City. The match of the round saw bitter rivals Lonngeylin City draw Strike with an 82nd minute equalizer, though Strike still topped the group. In Group 4, Marine Coast easily advanced but Non-League Tkaob Inland pipped Turori's Kionao Locals due to head to head record after beating the Turorian side in Turori while Nusira Lionta crashed out in 4th.

Tropical Trophy Champions Eastal Lunar cruised through as Group 5 winners but Declasse side Kiiara-Torra crashed out without scoring a single goal as Terrarokka United advanced to the knockout stage. Group 6 was the first group with 3 League sides and Morata Valley was the odd team out as Irougil and Cednia Beach dominated the group, Cednia with a pair of 3-0 victories before losing 1-2 to group winners Irougil. In Group 7, it was Liguon Valley at the bottom of the group while Makosile and FC Almintora both advanced without conceding a single goal. Group 8 was the first group to see two league sides eliminated, though at the hands of former Stellar Division side Alikkia-Corra, who advanced along with Arcticala Inlet at the expense of Jlinal Cove and League debutants Tivali United. Returning league side Yutzie Sorma was eliminated from Group 9 as Stellar Division sides Lopinka and Turoki Tide advanced to the knockout phase. Group 10 was also a Stellar route as Yeaddin and Kiiarana both went unbeaten while Inland Rovers found themselves at the bottom of the group. Group 11 completed a trend of all Stellar Division sides advancing as Inland Peaks and Turoki Isle drew each other and beat everyone else, and once again, the declasse side, Rammsissil, found themselves bottom of the table.

Three second round matches went all the way to penalties as Mliona-Lpaka defeated Turoki United, Turoki Tide defeated Tkaob Inland and Terrarokka United ousted Lonngeylin City. Turoki Isle needed extra time to take care of Alikki-Corra FC. Cednia Beach and Arcticala Inlet also advanced making Terrarokka United the only non-stellar division side to advance from the second round to meet with the group winners in round 3. No round 3 matches saw any team score more than one goal, and over half required extra time. Turoki Isle defeated Marine Coast excitingly in the 119th minute, while Eastal Lunar, Lopinka and Strike each netted the matches lone goal in first half stoppage time to defeat Irougil, Mliona-Lpaka and Makosile respectively. Two non-league sides progressed with Terrarokka United defeating Tivali City in extra time and Riailia Village winning on PK's after a 0-0 draw with Turoki Tide. Arcticala Inlet and Yeaddin Owls also advanced on penalties over Cednia Beach and Inland Peaks, respectively.

Non League Terrarokka United provided the shock of the cup in the Quarter Final first league with a 3-1 Thwomping of the Yeaddin Owls at Terrasport Park. Terrarokka came out of the gate fast with 2 goals in the opening ten minutes, and were further bolstered when Yeaddin were reduced to 10 men on 39 minutes. The Owls won the return leg but could not overcome the deficit and went crashing out of the competition. The other non-league side Riailia Village were eliminated by Jungle Strike FC. 2-Time Cup winners Eastal Lunar eliminated Lopinka 3-1 over two legs while Turoki Isle scored the lone goal over two legs to advance over Arcticala Inlet.

In the Semi Finals, Eastal Lunar won the first leg against Terrarokka United 2-1 away and then solidified their finalize place with a 1-0 victory in the second leg, while Strike defeated Turoki Isle 2-1 at home and drew 0-0 away to set up a Tropical Trophy rematch in the Vilitan Cup Final. The match was essentially over before it started however, with Inaki Soler and Esorijan Marelja netting twice in the opening 12 minutes as the 85,000+ at the Tivali Ring stadium was reduced to barely over 60,000 by half time. The Lonngeylinders took it easy in the second half, securing their second straight Vilitan Cup trophy and ensuring a chance to improve on their record 9 Tropical Trophy victories against Arcticala Inlet in season 26.

CAFUNDELENSE LEAGUE RESULTS
Season 25

THE SAME OF EVER REVIEW OF CAFUNDÉU’S LEAGUE SYSTEM – Cafundéu’s league is composed of 5 divisions of 20 teams. All the divisions have the same style:

-1st phase: All the clubs play each other 2 times(home and away). It’s called “primeiro turno”. The winner of this phase it’s the first placed at the end of the league.

Tiebreakers: points, number of wins, goal difference, goals scored, yellow cards.

-2nd phase: The 8 best placed teams in the 1st phase play in a knockout stage. The 1st plays the 8th (Game A), the 2nd plays the 7th(Game B), the 3rd plays the 6th(Game C) and the 4th plays the 5th (Game D). They play two games(home and away). The winner continues. In case of draw, the team with better performance in the 1st phase wins. Then, the winner of the game A plays against the winner of game D, and the winner of game B plays the winner of game C(semifinals) with the same rules. Then, the winners play the final using the same rules.

-3rd phase: The winners of the 1st and 2nd phase play each other in one game in neutral ground. In case of draw, there’s extra time and penalties. The winner is the Cafundéu champion.

Promotion and Relegation: In all the leagues 4 teams get relegated. They are the 4 worst teams of the 1st phase. The promoted teams are the 3 best teams of the 1st phase and the best team of the 2nd phase(note that the champion of the 2nd phase can be already promoted in the 1st phase, so the best placed team that still wasn’t promoted will be promoted (the one which reached the final or the semifinal of the 2nd phase).

City Details: second biggest city of the country, Lasft is more beautiful than Cafundó do Juta, since it’s on the seaside. People from all around the world come to Lasft every year because of its marvelous beaches. It also is the headquarters of the CCFM, so most of the football-related decisions are made there. The stadium is the most beautiful of the country, with clean bathrooms and an organized restaurant, and the Empire doubled the number of seats for the World Cup 36, changing the appearance of the stadium completely. The number of seats was mantained the same from that time, as it can't be expanded anymore. It’s also the capital of sports in Cafundéu, home of the country’s Olympic Committee and many other organizations associated with Sport. There is a big rivalry between Lasft and Cafundó do Juta to decide which is the richest city of the country. Place of several World Cup finals and other major matches, and also the Olympic Stadium of the last Summer Olympics.

-CFFA Premier League-
After a series of risky transfers, PSV Stavropol are expected to struggle to keep the title this season. Confidence in Oransberg St. Thunder FC has also dropped following the hospitalisation of manager Yury Grevin. AZS Kemenovsk Rangers, having acquired right back Gregor Malkosevic to strengthen their back four, have high hopes.

The fanbase of Sporting Dankovo is growing, and a top five table position is expected of them this season. FK Tinskoy Technikal and MK Korban Miners, both teams from ex-mining towns, anticipate a struggle to escape relegation.

Though PSV Stavropol, reigning Premier League champions, started the season with a 2-0 defeat to 15th placed Cruz Seskerin, they followed it with ten goals in two games - leaving speculators in two minds as to their future fortunes. Nevertheless the champions, stunningly, end the first half of the season in the bottom half of the table while 'the Scarlets' of Red Star Kemenovsk sit atop the league with the largest positive goal difference. Following close behind are 'the Saints' of Tsaritin, holding Red Star to a draw on matchday 14. Previous high flyers Oransberg St. Thunder have had a distinctly lacklustre season so far, though Yury Grevin is recovering at home.

The battle of the Rangers, between Sumy and Bolshi, has ended with the former rising up the top half of the table while the latter struggles close to the relegation zone. AIK Provorsov are off to a good start in Baltiysk, as are 'the Bears' of Tyascheney in Ostrov South. The Cherkaasy derby between Avenue and Fortuna has ended in a stalemate thus far, while some new talent at FC Vyorgmund has resulted in them challenging the promotion places in Kedrovyna. In Bashkaguryan South, the Artemska-based Yuren Park club are making waves in the sport and now threaten title-favourites Bulganskiy County FFK.

Now that the playoffs have taken place, we can proceed with the West Zirconian National League.

Rather than concentrate on who was the last to lose - Stanley United lasted six matches before a 5-0 thumping at Bradley Hornets - let us feel slightly sorry for Sephton County who took exactly the same amount of time to win. Or, for that matter, to do anything other than lose. It was a setback from which it would seem impossible to recover.

By half-way, the usual suspects had found themselves in the top four - only Houghton Kestrels in fourth would stop the top five being in the top five. Although Banks and Stanley United matched each other stride for stride, neither could afford to slip up, as Bradley Hornets and Mort Park were breathing down their necks. However, Banks stumbled, and no-one reacted. Stanley United won the league with a match to spare, while Bradley Hornets snatched the other Champions' Cup place. Sephton, incidentally, were relegated two matches from the end.
