You have some great, over the top enthusiasm, but you do realize you quoted the OP, which is over four years old, right? We understand that if you are posting in this thread, you have interest in club rugby, so reel it back a bit, try not to double and triple post, follow 'da rules', and everything will be peachy, capisce?

There sure is a great interest in the great game of Rugby League in AusCricketLand and not surprisingly we are bloody brilliant at it, as naturally the capital city of AusCricketland is Sydney Cricket Ground we have seen just about every great rugby league player in the sports history played many of their biggest matches ever, especially in grand finals and Test matches, hell Dally Messenger, Frank Burge, Dave Brown, Billy Boston, Clive Churchill, Reg Gasnier, Johnny raper, Alex Murphy, Puig Aubert, Arthur Beetson, Mal Meninga, Martin OffiahAndrew Johns and Billy Slater among many many other great Australian and English and Kiwis and French and Samoan and Tongans legends have played in our great capital city.

Our God, THE Sir DONALD BRADMAN has decreed that Rugby League is almost as important as his own game of cricket, and that makes the game a holy one. Considering all of this I would doubt any nation can beat mine and any nation daring to test their manhood on the mighty SCG against us they are doomed to fall in defeat as we are invincible.

So Yeah, I am interested in joining in.

That...was a long time ago. Currently we have the Seasogs Championships, which is a club rugby competition similar (identical) to the Heiniken Cup, and the IRLCC (International Rugby League Challenge Cup), which is the same but for Rugby League clubs.

EDIT: Ninja'd, and 'peachy'?

Just realised I never got around to updating ranks. These will be up when I have the time to sit and do them.

As I know that there is at least one nation out there that uses my ranks for their league, I will endeavour to make sure that there is at least one week between me posting the new ranks and the entry deadline for the next tournament slamming shut.

Based on the 70th season of the Alpen Valley Rugby Union, the clubs for the next Seasogs are:

Ludenthal Wolves (NEG)
Some Village Wanderers (SMV)
Burgunden Brawlers (NEG)
Ciavno Alpenhawks (NEG)

Wild season, almost same exact results in the end, rankings wise anyway, as last season.

** This was the third season for the Some Village Wanderers in the AVRU. They hail from Some Village, not Neu Engollon, but participate in Neu Engollon's domestic league as special permanent guests.
There are unique circumstances as to why this has come to pass.
TG me with questions if you got some, especially about GE&T or PMCs.

Wishton RU 29th Season

Postby Hutanjia » Mon Aug 26, 2013 12:49 pm

The Qualifiers for the next RUCT Seasogs from the 29th Season of the Wishton Rugby Union, which also includes teams from the nations of the the Cardwith Islands and Kenega, are:

Jalakra Jaguars (HTJ)
Vesselle RFC (HTJ)
Hesttens Serpents (HTJ)
Nourselle Gazelles (CDW)

EDIT: Due to a recent treaty, the Kenega Armistice & Accords, the cities of Jalakra and Nourselle have changed hands, with the Democratic Socialist Republic of the Cardwith Islands repossessing Nourselle and the Republic of Hutanjia once again taking possession of Jalakra. Sorry for any confusion caused. The trigrammes have been edited accordingly.

How are we looking on the Seasogs by the way? I figure something is weighing down PIS either RL or NS, but just curious if anyone knew.

A mixture of both. I'll compile the ranks tonight because I know there are a couple of leagues that use the Seasogs ranks to compile their own league ranking system, so the cutoff will be one week from the point I post those ranks.

Season One of the Aktualyze Yotta-, Terra-, and Mega- Ligas can be found here

Paradystopia (PDT) Qualifiers:

Knaves o' the Keep
St. Dhads & Susuville
Whilliumiborough

Kinshish (KNS) Qualifiers:

Communadi Khvadrant

Note: Kinshish is not a bona fide country. It's a semi-autonomous part of Paradystopia so I leave it to the governing body of the Seasogs to decide whether they recognise it as an independent state. If not, use trigramme PDT ... obviously ...

I also wish to clarify that it is not some sort of covert 5th Commune team. The players despise the Commune and are all Paradystopi/Kinshishish citizens. The Khvadrant was formed in the city of Puu by refugees seeking asylum in Paradystopia. Not altogether comfortable with with this influx of what Paradystopi officials deemed 'volatile peoples with dangerous culture', they granted them asylum in the furthest place from the mainland, Kinshish and thus the Khvadrant was born.

Interestingly enough, the Commune supports Kinshishish independence though it is believed this is a ruse to re-patriate and punish these families of deserters. This puts a very interesting slant upon the question of Kinshishish independence but is expected to be a very long time, if ever, that the issue progresses beyond mere bitching and bickering.

Season results

Seasogs: Lyra, Vulpecula, Cassiopeia and Monoceros

IRLCC: Sympetrum and Epiprocta

In Rugby Union, Lyra managed to hold on to the form they had in the most recent Seasogs, which they have won(!) being the first Ko-orenite club team ever to win their sport's main international club tournament. They have won their fifth overall title, and their first title in five seasons. Coming back like this, after winning Seasogs, they might be on the top of Ko-orenite Rugby Union for years to come. The title of 'best club of the country' was untaken for now anyway, now that there have been three different teams coming in first place over the past three seasons. Vulpecula, Cassiopeia and Monoceros qualify comfortably as well, and only Monoceros was close to losing their place. The final six teams were all very close together, though none of these seem able to break the reign of the top four teams.

In Rugby League, Sympetrum qualified for the IRLCC again, as champions, after their decent run at that tournament last time. Epiprocta replace Anisoptera as Ko-oren's second team.

With only eight teams from four countries entered for this season’s International Rugby League Challenge Cup, the structure was fairly simple. The teams were separated from the other team from their country, and put into two groups of four, with two teams from each group qualifying for the semi finals. For the semi finals, if necessary, teams from the same nation would be kept apart.

Group Stage:

- Group A Pld W D L PF PA PD Pts
1 Zj Lucky 13s (PDT) 6 5 0 1 63 14 +49 10 — 8–0 9–3 19–4
2 Vogler City Rhinos (DAR) 6 3 0 3 52 64 −12 6 5–0 — 19–8 4–8
3 Fleur Reape (SGT) 6 2 0 4 51 59 −8 4 0–15 26–4 — 14–10
4 Epiprocta (KOR) 6 2 0 4 40 69 −29 4 2–12 14–20 2–0 —

- Group B Pld W D L PF PA PD Pts
1 Dzias Damned (PDT) 6 5 0 1 86 38 +48 10 — 14–10 12–10 14–0
2 Sympetrum (KOR) 6 3 0 3 88 37 +51 6 8–0 — 38–6 8–9
3 Sterling City Rovers (DAR) 6 3 0 3 41 79 −38 6 4–22 4–1 — 11–4
4 Yonoba Nightmares (SGT) 6 1 0 5 25 86 −61 2 6–24 4–23 2–6 —

Semi Finals:

Zj Lucky 13s (PDT) 12–2 Sympetrum (KOR)
Vogler City Rhinos (DAR) 6–18 Dzias Damned (PDT)

International Rugby League Challenge Cup Final:

Zj Lucky 13s (PDT) 0–8 Dzias Damned (PDT)

In a Final in which a Paradystopi champion was guaranteed, Dzias Damned defeat Zj Lucky 13s for bragging rights, and the right to call themselves the best rugby league club in the multiverse, at least for this season. Now, I’ll hand the reins back to Paradystopia, who will get back to you with a cutoff, and ranks (which will be edited into this post), fairly soon.

No TUL this time around, so Charmunnry/Tynealan representation will be taken from the Elite Conference.

Seasogs qualifiers
Ballyfeeaknock
Dyary
[And if four entrants are preferred to keep numbers consistent, Freeport Ancalites and Porthmageed Yambria]
I'm not on the Greenwich Meridian so my time is a few seconds behind. Bear that in mind.

Entrants are, pretty much, cutoff here.
However, I feel absolutely diabolical, so scorination won't be until tomorrow night at the earliest.

Any sign-ups between now and the moment I start to sort the tournament will be provisional only, so don't be surprised if you post results in the next few hours and then don't see your teams in the tournament.

Can't believe I didn't have much time to score my domestic league, but if accepted, the 14th Saugeais Rugby Union season yields these 4 entrants into the Seasogs:

  1. Portmore Wanderers
  2. Riverside Sharks
  3. Ville-DuPont RFC
  4. Bugny Barbarians

A few notes on procedure:
All entries this season were accepted. With 50 teams submitted from twelve leagues (eleven of which had previously submitted leagues), tournament organisers settled for an unprecedented solution to the scheduling issues.

The top qualifiers from eleven leagues with previous submissions all got a bye. Leagues that saw a team in the semi-finals of the last tournament also saw their second placed team receive an additional bye. The rest of the qualifiers, including all from the new leagues, entered in the qualifying stage, with the winners of the randomly drawn ties making the group stage. Ahead of the qualifying stage however, a one-off playoff was required between the bottom placed qualifier from the new league and the bottom placed qualifier from the league that submits six teams.

For the Group Stage, teams were seeded by rank, and then randomly drawn, with no two teams from the same league permitted in the same group.

The draw for the Round of Sixteen is drawn randomly so every runner-up played away to a group winner, with no two teams from the same league permitted to play each other. Remaining rounds were drawn randomly.
