For the first time ever in the 64 year history of the club, Montbenoit has been relegated from top flight football. This comes as a big surprise to their fans, who felt that with a good portion of the players on the national team, they would have a great chance to at least stay in League 1. However that is not the case, and for the first time ever will be playing in League 2 next season. Vlad Kurtz picked up the Golden Boot this year for his outstanding 21 goals to contribute to Arçon's top rated offense.

Golden Boot finalists:
1. Vlad Kurtz (Arçon) - 21 (winner)
2. Chase Alberts (Bugny FC) - 19
3. Daiki Ryota (Bugny FC) - 15
4. Kirk Angle (Longview) - 12
5. Afredo Salguero (Ville-DuPont) - 11

Top 5 assists:
1. Kurt Helton (Arçon) - 15
2. Kirk Angle (Longview) - 14
3. Benoît Poitras (Gilley FC) - 11
4. Damian Detter (Montbenoit) - 11
5. Daiki Ryota (Bugny FC) - 9

The Whirl Islands Premier League Season 7

Yes, after four seasons of Unity League, the Premier League is back. WIFA decided to re-create the Premier League after Unity League's failure and eventual disbandment, with the three teams that competed in UL last season plus the best 9 teams in the last Campeonato Nacional's season. This time, however, the Premier League will have a new format, since it will split into two playoffs after 22 matches: the Championship playoff, for the best 6 teams of the first round, who will compete for the title and international berths; and the Relegation playoff, for the other 6 teams, who will try to avoid relegation to the Campeonato Nacional. For the brand-new "Playoff Round", although every team will face its rivals twice (once at home and once away) rules will be slightly different and they will not all start with 0 points, as a weighting system will be applied to the teams in each playoff league. The teams finishing sixth and twelfth in the first round will start their respective playoff with 0 points. These teams' end of season tally of points is used to calculate the sum of the points that other teams will have. The point difference of each team from the last place team in their playoff is then divided by five (if the result is a decimal number it is then rounded to a full number, with .5 or more being rounded up) and the resulting number respectively for each team is the number of points with which they will start the mini-league.

TEAM POINTS IN ROUND 1 POINTS ROUND 2
Navel Sharks 57 (57 - 28 = 29 / 5 = 5.8 = 6) 6
Navel FC 47 (47 - 28 = 19 / 5 = 3.8 = 4) 4
Portland Greencaps 38 (38 - 28 = 10 / 5 = 2) 2
FC Atlantis 36 (36 - 28 = 8 / 5 = 1.6 = 2) 2
Eastburg United 33 (33 - 28 = 5 / 5 = 1) 1
Lagoon Red Diamonds 28 0
---------------------
Halcones de Maracaibo 28 (28 - 16 = 12 / 5 = 2.4 = 2) 2
Port-Vieux FC 25 (25 - 16 = 9 / 5 = 1.8 = 2) 2
Racing de Terranova 23 (23 - 16 = 7 / 5 = 1.4 = 1) 1

So...Navel Sharks won their fifth (and if we count the Islander Championship wins, seventh) Islands Cup, and secured a place in the next TQCC. Their arch-rivals managed to qualify to the TQCC, as well, at the expense of the Red Diamonds, who managed to overcome the disadvantage of being forced to start the playoff with 0 points and qualified to the Globe Cup after ending third in the playoff. Portland and Atlantis are the other two Globe Cup qualifiers, while Eastburg will have to watch on TV the next UICA season.

Despite having gotten the third worst amount of points during the first round, Union FC were able to escape from relegation after doing a good campaign during the play-offs. Port-Vieux's and Racing de Terranova's campaigns were decent enough to put those two teams safe from relegation danger this season, while Narissa Dolphins, Sparta Navel and Halcones de Maracaibo ended in a 3-way tie for last place which needed head-to-head results to be solved. Narissa's dismal campaign during the first round was forgotten thanks to their good results against Sparta and Halcones, while Halcones were relegated to the Campeonato Nacional after being close to qualify to the Championship Playoff and a dismal campaign during the playoffs. Bye-bye!

This Campeonato Nacional edition had only 12 teams, but was as hotly contested as ever. FC Terranova secured a Terranova Derby for the next season in the Premier League with their title and eventual promotion. It should be noted that Terranova also qualified to the SBCC, as did some "traditional" teams like Lagoon Crocodiles and Náutico. Olimpia and expansion outfits FC Moncton and Arica FC were involved in a three-way race for the last SBCC berth, which was eventually won by the "All Whites". However, Sporting Ayacucho and Hoxvathor Seahawks (the other two expansion sides for this season) were not as hot as their counterparts in Moncton and Arica and ended languishing in the lower zone of the standings.

On the off chance anybody cares, an incomplete, unauthoritative, and quite possibly inaccurate guide to the derbies of the Liga Aguazuleña!

Arcrés:
Matches: 18
Results: Arcrés Millos 9, 2 de abril 4, 5 draws
Goals: Arcrés Millos 24, 2 de abril 16
Other info: Both teams have been in the second division together since Apertura 10.

Ciudagua:
Matches: 28 (two lost to the mists of time; 12 de noviembre was the overall winner in these, the Liga's first derby)
Recorded wins: 12 de noviembre 8, Unión de Ciudagua 8, 10 draws
Recorded goals: 12 de noviembre 48, Unión de Ciudagua 47
Other info: They appear to be the only teams that have played a Copa derby; 12 de noviembre were exceedingly popular winners, with a 5-2 victory in the second leg. 12 de noviembre also won the derby in Apertura 7, despite coming last.

Ciudad Peralta:
Matches: 8 (two lost)
Recorded wins: FC Nacional 2, Deportivo Peralta 2, 2 draws
Recorded goals: Deportivo Peralta 13, FC Nacional 12
Other info: Home teams are, in the six known games, undefeated in this derby.

Rofi:
Matches: 8 (two lost, and there were probably more before we started caring about the third division)
Recorded wins: Fábricas 4, Deportes Rofi 2, no draws
Recorded goals: Fábricas 13, Deportes Rofi 8
Other info: all but two of the recorded matches took place in the third division; Fábricas 6-0 Deportes Rofi is the largest margin of victory among known derbies, Rofi is actually Aguazul's fourth-largest city. No, I'm serious.

San Pablo:
Matches: 18
Wins: Ojedo Cerro 8, San Pablo 6, 4 draws
Goals: Ojedo Cerro 35, San Pablo 23
Other info: The season after losing 4-0 in the derby, the Pumas lost 6-1 in the derby. Oops.

Trecelunas:
Matches: 12
Wins: Trecelunas FC 6, CSD Trecelunas 3, 3 draws
Goals: Trecelunas FC 10, CSD Trecelunas 7
Other info: They were relegated from the first division at the same time (after Clausura 11) but after Clausura 13, Trecelunas FC got promoted while CSD Trecelunas got relegated. In the first seven matches, five goals were scored total.

OOC: In the likely event that I don't get the league scorinated in time, I'll enter the same teams entered last time to the UICA cycle.
Nevermind.

The Jor-Eps Premier League, Inaugural Season

The Jor-Eps Football Association (JEFA) is pleased to announce the founding of an organized football league system in Jor-Eps.

After 33 years of semi-structured football in Jor-Eps, the Jor-Eps Football Championship, the Jor Football League, and the Eps Football League have merged under the guidance of the JEFA to create the Jor-Eps Football League system. The Jor-Eps Premier League, League 1, and League 2 will operate on a "two-up, two-down" system of promotion and relegation, with the teams starting in each league determined by a detailed ranking system using results from the past 33 years as well as, when necessary, qualification tournaments.

The JEFA has ratified a resolution allowing foreign players to play in the JEFL, however the government has made clear that due to issues with work permits, teams should not expect to have any foreign players before the second season. The JEFA has also applied for membership in the UICA, with teams expecting to represent Jor-Eps in the TakilQuip Champions’ Cup, Globe Cup, and Series B Champions' Cup.

Without further ado, here are the media predictions for the first season of the JEFL.

Jor-Eps Premier League

With fourteen of the eighteen teams in the JEPL all competing together in the JEFC last season, the results of the season will probably be the most expected of any league. Newcomers Jorusk FC, Jorusk Village FC, Kalilim United FC, and Askela FC will be the wild cards, especially as Jorusk Village comes of a Jor Football League championship season, as does Askela in the Eps Football League.

TQCC Favourites
  • Denrod FC, ten-time champions of the JEFC are seen as the pre-season favourites to win the JEPL. Last season, in the JEFC they won the title but also scored the most goals of any team by a large margin. The Mountaineers are led by striker Khanna Ugrin, and will seldom be seen participating in a 0-0 draw.
  • Epstosito City FC have finally recovered from a long stretch of mediocrity and are back to their elite form. Despite having won 5 of the first 10 JEFC titles, financial issues forced the capital city's club to sell many fan favourites, and actually dropped out of the top 5 a season after their third straight championship. However, a growing market of fans in Epstosito has allowed for a resurrection, winning three more JEFC titles, and giving the club a strong chance to claim the first JEPL title.
  • Kalilim FC have been neck-and-neck with Denrod FC for the strongest team in the JEFC in the past decade. Despite only winning two championships in twelve years, Kalilim has only finished out of the top three once in that span. Playing with a stingy defence, Kalilim should not be expected to score often, but when they do it will usually be enough for the win.
Darkhorse Candidates
  • North Denrod FC is the only team to have won both a regional league championship and the JEFC title, having won 5 of the first 10 Eps Football League titles before transferring and winning the JEFC in their fourth season in the league. Tired of living in the shadow of their cross-town rivals, the Blues went on a spending spree this summer, shoring up their defence and midfield with five new players. It is yet to be seen what effect this will have on team chemistry, but North Denrod appears to have a legitimate shot at an international spot at the very least, if not the title itself.
  • Jorkel FC is known throughout Jor-Eps for two things - having the best youth academy and being wildly inconsistent. It is a common sight for Jorkel to finish in the top 3 in the JEFC, sell their aging stars and allow for their youth players to get first team football, causing the team to plummet down the table before rising straight back up the next season once the youth have a season under their belts. As a result, the Marlins are commonly referred to as the "Boomerangs", since they will always be back at the top end no matter how far they drop. They are currently on an upward swing (finishing 11th two seasons ago before moving up to 5th last season), so fans of the Boomers have high hopes for the JEPL season.
  • FC Jor-Eps Union 11 are always unpredictable. They go through long stretches of mediocrity and then peak high, before plummeting back down to mediocrity. They finished second last season, however it has been over twenty years since they have finished anywhere above 8th a season after a top-3 finish. The owners of Union say that this 'curse' is over, having died with the JEFC, however only time will tell.
Middle of the Pack
  • Kimen FC
  • Gahnam FC
  • Isor FC
  • Gahnam City FC
  • East Jortor FC
  • Askela FC
  • West Rauposito FC
  • Jorusk Village FC
Relegation Candidates
  • Jor Wanderers FC
  • Jorusk FC
  • Mosad FC
  • Kalilim United FC

Jor-Eps League 1

With a mix of teams from all three leagues, nobody knows how League 1 will turn out, only that it will be a close race for both promotion and relegation. In fact, the casinos have not placed a single teams odds of promotion or relegation at better than 10:1, and the most bets placed for both promotion and relegation belongs to Rauposito FC.

Jor-Eps League 2

League 2 does not have a single team from JEFC competing, so the five teams from Jor are all used to playing each other, as are the nine teams from Eps. As a result, South Jorryn FC of Jor and Isor City FC of Eps are listed as co-favourites for promotion and winning the league.

Season 19 of the Una Serie? Can you believe there have nearly been 20 of them? No us either, the time has really flown by. Flown by to the point where the transfer records of old have been crushed with Royal Khaldoon looking to make up for failing to win the title last season by buying this year. So far they have spent $40million on two players and with a few days to go before the transfer market closes they may swoop one more time to ensure they are back to winning ways. Their big transfers, Krytie goal machine Michael Anderson is the record breaker, costing them a whoping $23 million from Emberton Reds and the second, the most expensive goalkeeper to ever transfer into the Una Serie Yasser El-Borolossy, world cup winning goalkeeper for Sorthern Northland…. who just happens to be injured. For an indeterminate period of time, so they may be picking up another goalie in the coming days. Elsewhere, the resurgent Augustus side have added Lionel Johnson to their line up and have spent some moolah on two new keepers, why two?? And a Mytannar attacker.

The champions, Pythons have picked up a pair of centrebacks and are supposedly closing in on a right winger. There is also a warm welcome home for former Pocoan international captain and well travelled midfield maestro Hugo Anderson, who, at 36 was a little too close to forty to be playing in Cafundeu. He has signed for Real Minanda on a year long deal and will be making the switch into central midfield as his once blistering pace has deserted him.

So, in the advent of octopuses, squirrels and other future telling creatures further down the food chain than ourselves, we’ve turned to a panel of mammals, loaned to us by the Ortiz Central Zoo to give us the low down on what they expect this season.

Ajax Khaldoon II
Barry the Porcupine – 7th
Lennox the Giraffe - 6th
Molly the Tapir – 7th
Don’t look to be headed in the right direction, finished in the bottom half last season and will probably do the same.

Almondvale
Barry the Porcupine - 6th
Lennox the Giraffe – 8th
Molly the Tapir – 6th
We all like Karim Zaki but he doesn’t really look to be taking this team towards a title challenge, maybe a cup run.

Athletic Khaldoon
Barry the Porcupine – 9th
Lennox the Giraffe – 9th
Molly the Tapir – 8th
Athletic are the quintessential “average” team. In nearly twenty years of the Una Serie they have never finished in the top four and have failed to deliver a single piece of silverware.

Augustus
Barry the Porcupine – 3rd
Lennox the Giraffe – 1st
Molly the Tapir – 4th
They have the gifted “jungle boy” who we are all looking forward to see playing. Fingers crossed he’s as good as the hype has suggested.

Garrincha F.C.
Barry the Porcupine – 10th
Lennox the Giraffe – 12th
Molly the Tapir – 9th
Have established themselves as an Una Serie side, but that’s what we thought of Cruzeira and they bit the bullet last season. Expect anything.

Jonastown United
Barry the Porcupine – 8th
Lennox the Giraffe - 7th
Molly the Tapir – 10th
J-Town haven’t really done much since their surprise second place finish and this season will probably be more of the same.

Pythons
Barry the Porcupine – 2nd
Lennox the Giraffe – 4th
Molly the Tapir – 2nd
The champions, finally broke their duck after being the dominant force for years, they’ll be looking for a repeat and to pile pressure on their neighbours, Royal.

Real Minanda
Barry the Porcupine – 5th
Lennox the Giraffe – 5th
Molly the Tapir – 5th
All the animals pointed to 5th. Is that a weird sign? Anyway, they should be up there this season and challenging for silverware in the cups.

Ridgemont Town
Barry the Porcupine – 12th
Lennox the Giraffe – 10th
Molly the Tapir – 11th
Apparently people aren’t expecting much of Ridgemont, which is a fair assumption as even the fans are resigned to it being another dire season up North.

Royal Khaldoon
Barry the Porcupine – 1st
Lennox the Giraffe – 2nd
Molly the Tapir – 1st
The animal’s favourite to lift the title and the pundits favourite. If they fail this year expect big changes. They’ll win something.

Skyte City
Barry the Porcupine – 11th
Lennox the Giraffe – 11th
Molly the Tapir – 12th
Back after a season in League I, they are a depleted squad, but will be on a high after winning the League I title. Errrmm… probably going straight back down

Valengren Kickers
Barry the Porcupine – 4th
Lennox the Giraffe - 3rd
Molly the Tapir – 3rd
*shrug* they’ve bank rolled their title challenge on foreign money and have failed to deliver the title… yet. Maybe this year is the year.
Hosts of one World Cup
A Mike Sarzo Memorial Trophy and the 16th Di Bradini Championship to name but all of our accomplishments

The Crown Back to the Ice Throne

After ending two seasons in a row in the 4th place, Polar Zenith wins the club's second DL, 13 seasons after winning its first one. The Aliens won the crown in the 37th matchday, in a disorienting 3-1 home victory against Cannibals. Battle, ever dangerous, ended up as runner-up and also qualified for the TQCC, and with this season's new rule about the qualification match against the Zarblese International Cup winner being played only if that club ends in the top 5, the Red Stripes didn't even had to playoff against Revolutionaries, that ended up only in the 14th place.

Knights and Cross SC followed in 3rd and 4th, two good results, and qualified for the Globe Cup. Cannibals will join them for the 5th place, which was a bit of a disappointment for the club's massive fanbase.

What about Goyoreh, last year's crown winner? The Crazies made use of their nicknames and barely escaped the relegation, ending in the 16th place, only 1 more than the best placed relegated club, TFC. Drowned with the All-Whites as expected are Super, Coconut Trees and Lunar.

The DL will have one debut next season, as Endoplasmatic Reticulum qualified for the first time, after winning the Centurion's Camp National Championship.

The Sheriff of Khaldoon Charity Shield.

The new look season opener for the Una Serie, with the winner of the league facing off against the amateur league champions. This year, 6 times title winning Khaldoon based champions Pythons faced off against Nacional of the Coorsberg Amateur League. Nacional, coming from the southern seaside town of Gremio Porelagua, claimed the amateur title ahead of their nearest opponents by 7 points and were set to play their first ever game at the national stadium.

The two sides lined up, with Pythons squad valued at over 100 times that of their opponents, most of whom had taken the day off on Friday from their actual jobs to travel to Ambrose for the game on Sunday.

The whistle blew and with the teams split by tradition, prestige and ability it was anticipated the team from the town of only 39,000 inhabitants would be easily brushed aside. That was until they scored after 17 minutes of being on the back foot, the goalkeeper punted the ball forward and a mistake from Pythons new boy Kyle Chuckson allowed Pete San Dimas to side foot beyond the advancing Lance Mewborn and the fish monger had scored on the biggest stage conceivable outside of the World Cup.

Pythons pushed and pushed and with Nacional holding strong, Pounder switched tactics and formation from a 4-4-2 to a 3-3-4 and in the 56th minute were rewarded with a diving header from Mytannar Niko Radislaj. With their hopes dashed and a potential Pythons renaissance in the offing the Nacional fans slunk in their seats and remained there as the Pythons onslaught began, battering at their defences. Although, there was no break through and the Nacional resolve held strong keeping the game tied at one a piece until the 83rd minute, when factory worker Mark Stinson’s speculative effort took a gigantic deflection off Carlo Romano and looped over Mewborn and into the Pythons goal. Cue scenes of jubilation and abject despair.

FT
Pythons 1-2 Nacional
Radislaj San Dimas, Stinson

The Vonghurst Star
VFA split into Two

VONGHURST - While embroiled in conflict for months, today the oft-threatened but unthinkable happened. A contingent of 30 clubs led by the Vonghurst Capitols as well as other clubs who were notably in favour of the VFA opening the door to foreigners have left the VFA in protest to the governing body's recent decision to undo both of the major changes that the body had adopted just last year, those two decisions being to change back to a system that places heavy reliance on the state championships (in specific, the body wants to go back to the playoff system used before Unity League came around) as well as re instituting the domestic only policy of Virabi football. Both of these moves were viewed as highly controversial not only because it felt like it was going backward but it also came so soon after the move was implemented and there wasn't really a chance for the changes to be even tested. Yet, today the revert back to how things were has finally been made official after months of heated debate and tension that has caused not only the v.league but also State Championships to be cancelled and for the only Stage II league to run to be a double elimination knockout tournament which functioned as the State Champions' Cup as well as the nation's UICA and CRF qualification league. In this article we shall answer what are perhaps the three most asked questions about this whole ordeal.

What Will Become of the 30 Clubs?

The thirty clubs that broke away have banded together to form an organisation known as the Independent Club Football Commission. The new body is likely to oversee football that takes place with in ICFC sanctioned leagues and notable differences to the VFA are that foreigners will be allowed, the international standard of promotion and relegation will be used as well as many things behind the scenes that will be different. Most of these will be on the financial side as it is rumoured that the ICFC will do away with much of the revenue sharing that is employed in the VFA, something that will allow teams like the Capitols to amass greater wealth than they could previously. Something else that is rumoured to happen is a removal of the equal salary rule where the few teams that were professional couldn't pay one player disproportionately more than the others. The financial changes that the new association will undertake has made it a fair share of enemies and in places such as Portsham where both of the city's teams left to the ICFC, a movement of disgraced fans have already begun working on establishing a new club to join the VFA.

Will the ICFC be UICA sanctioned?

While there is no definate answer on this yet, it is thought to be highly unlikely that the ICFC will gain UICA sanctioning, as it is unlikely that the body will sanction two associations from one country. However there is precedent with the various sporting associations of Paripana, and because of that the ICFC could be sanctioned but the two situations are not necessarily similar. The ICFC is more of a rogue association at this point and not even certified as valid by the VOHC. Though, at this point it's likely that the ICFC will become a member nation of the CRF and send teams to the Copa de Campeones and other Rushmori competitions.

What Will Become of the National Team?

In light of this, a good many people are afraid this will mean a schism in the national team. We are pleased to report that those fears are not justified and that the split only effects club football. Nats' manager Jeff Parker, who was one of the critics of the VFA going back upon it's changes so soon spoke out about the issue saying that, "There is no cause for fear with fans of the Nats. Business shall continue as normal and when selecting teams I, as always, shall consider those best fit for the competition regardless of where they play".

Third Round
Honda FC 2-1 Thaplace City United (2-1 agg)
Newlands: Crowd 15,000
It was a tight affair at Newlands as newly promoted Honda went head to head with top four challengers Thaplace City United. It was a great start early for Honda and they attacked at full speed, scoring early in the 21st minute. They seemed to run out of puff for the rest of the half though and that allowed Gino of Thaplace City United to draw the game back in the 43rd minute, right before half time. Honda’s run came back after the break and after a strenuous amount of shots and attacking they took back the lead in the 69th minute.

Thaplace City United 2-1 Honda FC (2-1 AET, 3-3 agg, 2-1 PKs)
Thaplace International Stadium: Crowd 125,000
Thaplace City United made use of their home game at Thaplace International Stadium, defeating Honda when it came down to the wire. The first half was highlighted by plenty of passes and the score was 1-1 by the time of the long break. Early on in the second half it looked like no one could break away but Thaplace City United struck a spark and took the lead in the 77th minute. Extra time brought no results so the game was forced into penalty kicks. Honda scored, meaning TCU had to score which they did. Honda then missed, meaning that if TCU could score they would progress. Gino put it through simply for Thaplace Cit United and they just managed progression.

Yun City 1-1 Denborough FC (1-1 agg)
Yun Park: Crowd 5,000
Yun, putting on one of their typical strong performances, really challenged Denborough in a tight contest. Xing, Yun’s leading goal scorer for the past three years, scored first for the home side and made Denborough really work. They couldn’t equalise in the first half but got past the Yun defence early on in the second half and equalised in the 54th minute.

Denborough FC 1-0 Yun City (2-1 agg)
Eastern Stadium: Crowd 73,000
Denborough knew they had to put on a strong performance at home, and eventually came out with the goal. Yun applied pressure early and it looked like they would score on many occasions, but Denborough steadied and scored an unexpected one in the 39th minute. Denborough kept steady in the second half and were cautious, but couldn’t stop the Yun attacks at some points. Yun players were sometime too keen, being caught offside many times. Eventually the game ended with the final score being 1-0, allowing Denborough to scrape through 2-1 on aggregate.

Southern FC 1-2 Vladintosk Vinkroksi (1-2 agg)
The Great Southern: Crowd 17,000
Vladintosk Vinkroksi got the better of their rivals in what was a close match. The Southerners were first on the board in the 19th minute with a strike which flew past all the defenders and found an unguarded are of the goal. Just as it looked like Southern FC would lead going into the break Vinkroksi equalised in the 43rd minute with a header. I was a defensive half in the second, but Vladintosk Vinkroksi managed a goal in the 84th minute and the game ended 1-2 in Vinkroksi’s favour.

Vladintosk Vinkroksi 1-1 Southern FC (3-2 agg)
Vinkroksi Stadium: Crowd 18,786
Vladintosk Vinkroksi knew all they had to do was control Southern FC in the second leg of their meeting, and that’s exactly what they did. Southern FC didn’t find the ball early and converted in the 27th minute via Guy Hughes, putting Southern FC’s chances away. The score at half time was 1-0, and but the time Southern FC found the ball it was too little too late. They equalised in the 76th minute but it was an empty goal, and Vinkroksi progressed 3-2 on aggregate.

Denzio Demons 5-1 Quendo City (5-1 agg)
Denzio Stadium: Crowd 30,000
Defending champions Denzio all but confirmed a second successive spot in the Semi Finals with a 5-1 smashing of tired Quendo City. The day couldn’t have gone better for Denzio, who scored three in the 5th, 7th and 9th minutes respectively to put the game beyond Quendo. Some hope rose in the Quendo camp when a goal from outside the box came in the 22nd minute, but Denzio ended any hope with a strike from Gabriel Conga in the 42nd minute. There was not much action in the second half except for a goal to Denzio in the 64th minute, and Denzio left the pitch celebrating.
Quendo City 3-1 Denzio Demons (4-6 agg)
Quendo Memorial Park: Crowd 5,000
Quendo knew they were out of the contest, but they didn’t go down without a fight. They slotted through two early goals in the 14th and 19th minutes, and managed a fluky third in the 37th minute. Hope rose in the Quendo camp once again, but Wyatt Minson ruthlessly ended any chances of a comeback with a straight, powerful strike that went straight past the goalkeeper.

Brenton Athletic 1-1 Wanderers FC (1-1 agg)
Retuka Stadium: Crowd 76,837
Brenton really put it up to top four side Wanderers in what was a tight, entertaining game. Brenton were first on the board in the 47th minute after a scoreless half, and an upset loomed large. Horhae Ronazo was pressured into scoring though, as usual, and eventually delivered the required goal in the 79th minute after a long break to save the game.
Wanderers FC 2-1 Brenton Athletic (3-2 agg)

Interbar AC 0-1 Eastern Rangers (0-1 agg)
Eastern Rangers 3-5 Interbar AC (4-5 agg)

Cape Renko Dolphins 4-3 Retuka Town (4-3 agg)
Retuka Town 1-11 Cape Renko Dolphins (4-15 agg)

With the emergence of a larger football following in Djocoranga, a proposal was sent to the Mwembamban FA to set up a joint premier league for the two River Mto nations. The proposal was met with approval on both sides, and so the Mtoleague Premier was founded...
