The nation of Aels has a three-tier professional rugby union system, made up of 18 teams. There are six Aelsh teams in each tier, although only tiers two and three — the ARU ChocoMilk Premier League and the ARU First League — are fully sanctioned by the Aels Rugby Union. The top flight, which also features four teams from Ancharmunn, is the Tynealan Unification League, and co-sanctioned by the Charmunnry union federation.

The top two teams in the Premier League are promoted to the Tynealan joint league, while the bottom team is relegated to the First League. Four points are awarded for a win and two for a draw, with one bonus point awarded for every match lost by 7 points or less. However, bonus points are not added to the final points total, and are only used in tiebreaking situations. Teams play each other four times. Ties are broken by head-to-head results, followed by the number of bonus points, then points difference.

And that's it for the second season of the KNRL! Lyra and Vulpecula switched places compared to last season, with an even smaller difference: 1 point! The gap from the second place to third place is bigger than it was, though. 10 points separate Vulpecula and Cassiopeia. Cassiopeia and Corona Australis, both with 61 points are third and fourth and complete the Ko-orenite Seasogs Qualifiers. Cygnus is in fifth place, 7 points and 2 places better than last season. In sixth place, surprisingly, is Monoceros, last season's third place Seasogs Qualifier. Further down are Aquila and Corona Borealis, who fell short of qualifying like last season and find themselves in roughly the same place as last time. Another tradition: Corona Borealis and Phoenix are in the last two places, but CB was last year's last place, and Phoenix was 9th. Andromeda won two points more than last year, but find themselves in the same place.

The second season of The Icemark Rugby Union saw Frostmarris comfortably cruise to the league title with games to spare. The formation of the new play offs to decide the champion created a lot of interest, and a thrilling final was won with a last minute drop goal by Frostmarris over Learton.
Bendis retained The Icemark Shield with a narrow victory over Learton, meaning Learton lost two finals in the space of 7 days. Crawsby were the stand out performers of the year, gatecrashing the top 4 for a lot of the season, beofre ultimately falling away.
Attendances overtook Rugby League this year, mainly becuase of the interest in the international tournament called the Seasogs Championships.
Frostmarris and Barrowby both made it through to the Qualification round. Old Haven's Preliminary round saw the season's biggest attendance though.

1092 Tynealan rugby league season

Whilst union is the preferred code of rugby in Aels, league is much more popular in Ancharmunn. This is reflected in twelve of the Tynealan Super League's teams being from Ancharmunn. The four Aels sides meanwhile represent the three counties and capital of that country. The Charmunnry preference for league has played out in league standings and in ten seasons no Aelsh side has ever reached the playoffs contested between the top four teams in the league. Aelsh sides have however enjoyed some success in cup competition The Tynealan Rail Cup sees the 16 Tynealan professional clubs compete on a knock-out basis. An Aelsh club has competed in 6 of the 10 finals to have been contested, with both Dovershore (twice) Hilshore and most recently Drefhil having won the tournament. Army's three Tynealan Rail Cup wins along with their two Super League wins makes them the most successful club so far.

The 1092 pleasingly saw an improvement in the overall quality of play with just one team gaining less than ten points this season. The top teams however largely proved to be the same face as usual with Caernankry Miners Welfare and Army once again making it to the playoffs. An Hoileánaigh and Air Force however were out to gatecrash the party. Whilst Army edged out Miners Welfare, An Hoileánaigh crushed hopes of an armed forces derby final by defeating Air Force. The final saw a comprehensive win for An Hoileánaigh leaving the Army side to settle for a third consecutive runners-up placing.

About TSP Super 20 Rugby League

The TSP Super 20 is the premier sporting league in The Scout Promise. Founded as the Tri-Nations Rugby League by six clubs from three lands, it has expanded in recent years to include 20 sides from 12 nations. Super 20 plays rugby league, although several clubs also field separate union fifteens. Representatives of the league are invited to the RUCT Seasogs Championship notwithstanding the differences in customary code.

The founding clubs were Bountiful and Winterhaven from Green Jello Salad, Glomsteg and Pasgarmises from 84733842, and Bickerton and Hyde Park from SarahRed-n-BarryBlue.

Ander Arena (Cap. 40,000) -- The Ander Arena, sponsored by the pharmaceutical company Ander Pharmaceutical Co., will be the future home to the famed Port Kostas Strikers football club. However, the C-League season hasn't quite yet started so the city's rugby team, the P.K. Bruisers, got the opportunity to use it during the AP Rugby Trophy. The Camian Rugby Federation would like to offer the Ander Arena as a potential venue for the Finals of the Rugby Union Championship Trophy (R.U.C.T.).

1093 Tynealan Unification League

The Tynealan Unification League is the top level of rugby union competition in the Celtic Union of Tyneala (ie: Aels and Ancharmunn). As the only four professional rugby union clubs in Ancharmunn the provincial sides of Dyary, Machairster and Slievester along with the side representing the capital city Ballyfeeaknock will remain constants in the league. The two lowest placed Aelsh sides however are relegated to the Aelsh Rugby Union Premier League. At the top end of the table the top three clubs qualify for the championship playoffs, with the first placed team qualifying directly for the final and having home advantage for that match. The second placed team hosts the third placed team in the semi-final with the winner progressing to the final.

A few notes on procedure:
With 64 teams submitted from 16 leagues, though only the one league making its debut in the tournament, a preliminary round was required as well as a qualification round. Reigning champions Darmen City Wasps were awarded a bye to the Group Stage, along with the winners of the fifteen leagues that had previously submitted teams. All the qualifiers from the debut league were place into the preliminary round, along with the bottom two qualifiers from every other league (excepting the leagues that had a finalist in RUCT6, who only sent their bottom qualifiers), the draw being randomised. The 16 winners of these matches joined the remaining teams without byes in the final qualifying round, which was again randomly drawn with no team from the same league allowed to play another. The 16 winners of this round then joined the 16 byes in the group stage. For the Group Stage, teams were seeded by rank, and then drawn, with no two teams from the same league permitted in the same group.

The draw for the Round of Sixteen was drawn randomly so every runner-up played a group winner, with no two teams from the same league permitted to play each other. The remaining rounds were drawn randomly.
