San Marco, Filindostan
Prior to the start of the qualifying campaign for World Cup 82, Dina had planned to meet some of her friends who came from Bandariyan, who visited San Marco for a concert by the 7Seven Gang and Jeffrox at the Anetta Coliseum, and they wanted to meet Dina in the Central Mall in Downtown San Marco. Dina brought with her small handbag, which contained some of her cosmetic tools and a small pocket journal, which she always bring wherever she goes. As captain of both Fortunas and the Filindostan National Team, it is important that she keeps notes of every Filindostani match she has played, even if she's watching from the sideline either by injury, suspension, or whenever she's in the bench waiting for her turn to come onto the pitch as a substitute. Unusually, she places her wallet in her pocket - she does not bring with her a large wallet when she goes out of her apartment near the border of San Marco and Bagtasan.
While walking down the alley, she received a call from one of her friends.
"Hello? Santy, is that you? Where are you guys?"
It is unusual to have no bodyguards to accompany people of fame and importance, like Dina, though she's always present on a field, without her makeup and foundation, this day, she groomed herself more than the usual, to the point that majority of people would not notice that the girl that is walking in the alley is actually a national athlete playing for the country. Include the fact that she wore some sunglasses, that further masks her face from anyone that might notice her. People would ask her, "Why would you not drive a car?"; She would always answer, "My car is in the repair shop", "Or my car is under number coding for this day", but the reality is that she had trauma with driving, as the last time she was on the steering wheel of a car, it almost took her life, and eventually took the life of her ex-boyfriend.
It was an unlucky day for Dina. A young man, aged 16, with rugged clothes, and appearing like he had not taken a bath for months, approached the football player from behind while distracted with her phone call, and grasped the handbag from the shoulders of Dina. The force of the snatching caused Dina's phone to propel and fall into the concrete, breaking the LCD screen. But more importantly, the handbag was taken away from her by a street child.
"Help! Anyone catch that snatcher!" Dina panicked for a while, but she composed herself, and started chasing the boy who had the handbag. The volume of people in the alley, plus the different paths of the alley, prevented her from further chasing the snatcher. She was very tired, she still had the phone with her, though the display can be barely seen, with Santy still on the line.
"My bag got snatched. Though the contents were not so much important. Where are you guys? I'll go there." She said, like nothing has happened.
The boy meanwhile, was able to get away from the chasing people, turned into a slightly dark alley, and opened the bag he recently snatched. He cannot see any contents of worth, other than makeup, foundation, some feminine napkins, and a small notebook journal. He threw the other contents, save for the handbag, and the notebook.
He opened the notebook and see some notes about the matches the national team had. It was the matches where the Filindostani had their World Cup 81 qualifying campaign, written on a good permanship, and with a lot of insight. The kid understood some of the terminologies he saw - terms that can only be had while playing football. As he started reading the contents, a man grabbed the nape of the kid, grabbed both of his arms, and tried to handcuff him.
"You're under arrest. I'll bring you back to the Ministry of Social Welfare."

The Pula Garuda were put back to earth after a inspired performance to take a point at their travel to Jhanna. Their second away game in as many matches was a very disappointing one, as they conceded five goals again, after conceding five in one of the pre-qualifying friendlies. Tonyo had a very poor day, being responsible for three of the five conceded goals. Spilling the ball after a strike by Filip Markov, Irakliy Živkov was in the perfect place at the perfect time as he pounced on the rebound for the first goal. One of Rafael Korošeć's three goals could have been easily avoided, as he prioritized his complaining to the referee, raising his hand when a play appeared to be offside, completely taking him by surprise in the 41st, and poor positioning in the corner that lead into Ilia Zupan's header in the 50th minute.
Filindostan started well after Bochog scored in the third, however, poor performances from the defence kept the Baptism of Fire 66 winners winless after two games - they have to pick up the pieces and start winning matches, as they play their first home match of their campaign, when Omerica visit the Filindostan National Stadium for their third match of the campaign.
Tonyo is expected to be dropped by Twilight Striker in their next match, and she might spring a few surprises on who will start in the Omerica match. Maybe we can see some players making their international debuts there.
