Condemn Great Nepal

RECOGNIZING Great Nepal as an oppressive dictatorship.

NOTING that Great Nepal grants little to no political rights to its population, along with subjecting citizens to cruel punishment.

INSULTED by the fact the the United Kingdom of Great Nepal made a mockery of the World Assembly and its resolutions by actively and fully participating in the slave trade while it was still a member of the World Assembly.

HORRIFIED that Great Nepal has committed, and admitted to abusing the population in ways such as:
a. Executing children in schools of all grade levels for being suspected of "bullying."
b. Killing all children before the age of four suspected to be homosexual, even though it would be near impossible to know at that young age, and only allowing children to live if they pay currency to the government.
c. Using child slaves for labor purposes.

FURTHER REALIZING that Great Nepal has shown itself to be a threat to other nations through actions such as:
a. Actively searching for cheap nuclear weapons for offensive purposes.
b. Threatening to use and has actively used these cheap nuclear weapons on both WA and non-WA nations alike.
c. Creating and purchasing viruses and biological weapons.
d. Using newly founded nations as testing sites for nuclear weapons.

Liberate Islam

A resolution to strike down Delegate-imposed barriers to free entry in a region.

Description: The Security Council,

NOTING that Islam has long been a vibrant and successful community, providing a place for discussion on religion and cultural issues, not just for Muslims but for those of all faiths and none.

AWARE that unfortunately some nations desire control over Islam, rather than working to build it. Crusader of Injustice has attempted to gather all Muslims on NationStates together, but rather than pursuing diplomacy, has used force. This can be seen in Islam, where they have used agents such as Tarciam and Saladin III to implement a password and eject natives like Khilafa States and The Aeneid, The Kaaba. Islam is now in great danger, with a refound likely to occur in the coming weeks, so The Security Council must act.

DEFINES
(1) "Native" as a nation which takes up residence in a region without the intention of furthering the goals and aims of a foreign force, in accordance with SC15;
(2) "Password Grieving" as an invading technique, where an invader-in-disguise hides in a region long enough to accumulate a high level of regional influence, and then becomes in the founderless region to immediately establish an invisible password, and begin emptying the region of those not affiliated with their invader organisation, in accordance with SC13;

DECLARES that The Kaaba, Khilafa States and The Aeneid are natives of Islam, and Tarciam, Saladin III, Bosnia-and-Herzegovina, Union of the States and Zambia 2 are not, as they are "furthering the goals and aims of a foreign force";

RESOLVING that this occupation of Islam constitutes "Password Grieving", which is preventing the spread of interregional peace and goodwill;

DISMAYED that Islam has been crippled by this foreign occupation;

HEREBY Liberates Islam.

Commend The Joint Systems Alliance

The World Assembly,

RECOGNIZING The Joint Systems Alliance as “a vast intergalactic alliance of many peoples and species who have banded together in the hopes of achieving a more stable and peaceful galaxy,”

OBSERVING the many positive actions of this alliance of technologically advanced nations, these actions being based around the alliance’s basic values of promoting peace within the nations’ own borders, within the borders of nations around the world or in other locations within the galaxy which are not members of the JSA, and within the vast and wild expanse of the dark void known as outer space,

ADMIRING the devotion of the members of this alliance to keeping the peace on an intergalactic scale and acknowledging the many political feats that their collective power humbly achieves, such as:
a.) - - - maintaining a massive and popular foreign embassy program within the gargantuan space station, Delta Capita,
b.) - - - holding the lengthy and lively JSA Joint Councils with the intent of resolving pressing issues with their fellow JSA nations, resolving issues with directly involved nations from outside of the alliance, and, overall, making decisions on the actions of the alliance and its members,
c.) - - - aiding in an intergalactic exploration and colonization effort initiated by non-JSA entity North Calaveras,
d.) - - - creating a highly organized and highly efficient form of government for the alliance run by officials of individual member nations the alliance,

PRAISING the many efforts of The Joint Systems Alliance and its members to be prepared to act quickly on any disruptions of any nation’s peace whenever these disruptions occur, these actions involving for the most part the sending of military assistance and/or humanitarian aid (medical supplies, equipment, personnel, et cetera) to the nations in need,

APPRECIATING the alliance’s firm code of conduct which assures that all nations within the alliance are to take military action only when it is just and necessary or if it is in defense, and believing that this system has been very effective due to witnessing numerous examples of JSA military action, such as:
a.) - - - the JSA’s interference with the Malaklan’s genocidal attack on a human colony,
b.) - - - the JSA’s collaborative effort to put down an attempt to conquer the galaxy by the Hyperborians of The Steppe Empire and their successful peace talks with the offender after the ordeal had been sorted out and the offender defeated,
c.) - - - and the two current triumphant defenses of JSA territory from a hostile arachnid race known as the “Bugs,”

FURTHER APPRECIATING the JSA’s commitment to strong and free international trade and approving of their awareness of a need for a healthy world economy,

ACKNOWLEDGING in particular the alliance’s founder and leader nation, Magna Omega, for the enormous devotion of time and effort made by this entity to the alliance’s organization, maintaining its political stability, and to the well-being of nations both within and outside of The Joint Systems Alliance,

HEREBY COMMENDS The Joint Systems Alliance for its many great contributions to the world of NationStates and for the honorable example it sets for other nations around the world

Condemn Unknown

Identifying The Crusaders of Justice as a defender organization based out of Equinox,

Recognizing the validity and usefulness in responsible espionage missions carried out by regional governments,

Observing that Rougiers publicly pretended to break ties with Unknown and the invader community to ally with the defender community, all while secretly working with the upper levels of Unknown to gather information on defense forces,

Further observing Rougiers was left in charge of the forums of The Crusaders of Justice and given some power over the regional forums of The Council of Narnia following their apparent betrayal of the raider community,

Shocked that following the gathering of sensitive information from the two forums and the completion of the mission, Rougiers completely erased the forums of The Crusaders of Justice as well as erasing records from the regional forums of The Council of Narnia,

Asserting that a destruction of forums destroys the cultural and historical records of a region, as well as the collaborative effort put into it by its members, and also leaves the members of the region with no means of communication other than the Regional Civil Headquarters,

Insisting that the regional government of Unknown is responsible for the actions of its agent,

Dismayed with Unknown's refusal to accept responsibility; issuing instead a message to other regional governments blaming both The Crusaders of Justice and The Council of Narnia for the damage to their own regional forums,

Hereby:

Condemns the region of Unknown for the destruction of and the damage to the regional forums of both The Crusaders of Justice and The Council of Narnia caused by its agent.

Commend Sionis Prioratus

NOTING that the delegation of Sionis Prioratus worked tirelessly to pass resolutions in our hallowed halls to establish an inalienable access to pharmaceuticals for the benefit of sapientkind (GA#41) in addition to quality health services (GA#97) which no doubt improved the international quality of life by combating disease and illness all across the impoverished world,

FURTHER NOTING that the delegation of Sionis Prioratus also succeeded in resolving a lack of education in the most impoverished member-nations with a basic education program (GA#80) and the advancement of scientific education (GA#48),

REMEMBERING the international contributor of these ambitious projects as a courageous and venerable international federalist that was not afraid of providing assistance to those who needed it when those who claimed sovereignty over them did nothing to prevent their suffering,

ENDEAVORING not to commemorate Sionis Prioratus's international accomplishments as 'supererogatory' but instead to commemorate Sionis Prioratus for showing us how we can all make the world a better place if we make the effort to do so,

BUT NEVERTHELESS ACUTELY AWARE that if the betterment of the world that the delegation has ensured was not enough to indefinitely enrich the lives of the neglected, this commendation immortalizes a fearless and amiable spirit in our hallowed halls forever via the inspiration it will ensue to the next generation of General Assembly authors,

CELEBRATING the enormous service that Sionis Prioratus provided to the world as a means to communicate the warm gratitude from all those who have benefited from the social work of the Sionis Prioratus delegation,

Liberate Greece

Recognizing Greece as one of the oldest surviving regional communities in NationStates and that understanding its relatively complicated history is necessary to fully understand the region's current and dire situation,

Understanding that around August 2009, the two remaining natives of Greece (Grandon and Nikolaos The Great) decided to refound their founderless region to ensure the survival of the community,

Concerned by the fact that a relatively unknown nation, Yauna, happened to refound the region before the native, Nikolaos The Great, which intended to become the new founder of Greece, could,

Taking into consideration that, although Yauna performed its duties to the region's security by eventually repelling invasions, it was a notably inactive nation and even called a “joke” of a founder, by one native,

Reviewing some speculation by natives of Greece that Yauna is secretly allied with a foreign force, the Persian Empire, to protect its status as founder from the natives of Greece who were plotting to refound and commit mutiny against Yauna,

Concluding that, although Yauna made some critical and suspicious administrative decisions (such as permitting delegate access to the regional administration) just leading up to the current recent invasion of Greece by the Persian empire, if Yauna was, in fact, allied with the Persian Empire, Yauna would have been capable of banning and ejecting the natives of Greece without the assistance of the invaders currently holding the region down (and it is therefore unlikely that Yauna is allied with the invaders),

Deeply concerned by the invasion of Greece that was conducted by the Persian Empire on July 30 2010 -- an invasion that used a condemned technique of invading, often referred to as “Password Grabbing,” that was popularized by Macedon and involves an invader delegate imposing a regional password immediately after successfully claiming the position of delegate,

Aware that the founder, Yauna, has not responded to the civil turmoil in Greece because of inactivity, and has since ceased to exist,

Affirming that a counterattack is impossible to conduct in Greece without the removal of the Delegate-imposed barriers to free entry,

Expecting that, without action by the World Assembly, Greece will become another prized possession of the Persian Empire, much like Ctesiphon, Greek Empire, Parthia, Hayk, Aria and Media -- all of which lack the desirable qualities of a region: activity, access and amenities,

Hereby Authorizes a removal of Delegate-imposed barriers to free entry into Greece to aid in the eternal conflict against those who threaten interregional harmony and goodwill.

Commend 10000 Islands

The World Assembly Security Council,

RECOGNIZING the region 10000 Islands as a pioneer of what are now vastly used components of regional government and organization, being one of the first regions to:
• create its own private forum,
• design a constitution for its members to obey in order to promote regional unity and better organize regional activity,
• introduce a regional economy,
• and establish a regional currency, thereby pushing the boundaries of the seemingly limited world of NationStates and setting numerous conventions for many regions that formed later;

ADMIRING the fact that 10000 Islands has managed to accomplish the difficult task of maintaining a population of over 200 nations for seven years,

ACKNOWLEDGING the existence of TITO, the Ten Thousand Islands Treaty Organization, a defender army based out of 10000 Islands,

APPLAUDING TITO's home region, 10000 Islands, for initiating over 1200 successful defensive interventions (through the mobilization of TITO-involved WA nations) to protect hundreds of regions from raider invasion,

AWARE that TITO also keeps the World Assembly from being overwhelmed with liberation requests, as their goal of "seek[ing] to live in peace with all regions in NationStates, but [refusing to] back down to those that wish to impose their will on innocent regions" shares the fundamental principles of the World Assembly Security Council, a body "dedicated to the dissemination of inter-regional peace and goodwill, via force if necessary."

NOTING that 10000 Islands was, in fact, the very first region to be commended, however the original commendation of 10000 Islands was later repealed because it was poorly written,

BELIEVING that the many contributions of 10000 Islands to the world of NationStates go far beyond what can normally be expected of a single region, and are hence worthy of World Assembly comendation,

HEREBY commends 10000 Islands.

ACKNOWLEDGING Der Fuhrer Dyszel (known to the international community as The Dictatorship) as a nation that has been engaged in unceasing, brutal war for the entire duration of recorded history,

ALARMED at the total lack of personal and political freedoms in The Dictatorship, up to and including a standing prohibition on all actions, possessions or thoughts not related to guns,

DISTURBED at the complete disregard for human life exercised by The Dictatorship at all levels, including, but not limited to:

* Subjugation of all outlying nations to the whims of an all-consuming, malevolent and wildly unpredictable A.I.,
* Release of the crippling nerve agent XGN at an international peace conference and elsewhere,
* A policy of forced exile and prohibition of all civilians from the entire nation on penalty of death,
* Complete disregard for all laws and customs of war,
* Support for the many wars and atrocities of the Global Dominion of Dictatorships Against Democracy (GDODAD),
* Use of prisoners of war as test subjects for experimental weapons and chemicals,
* And giving away nuclear weapons to impressionable new nations to encourage them to go to war,

DISMAYED at the fact that the environment of The Dictatorship has been allowed to degrade into a hellish wasteland incapable of sustaining human life beyond a few scattered special forces,

CONCLUDING that The Dictatorship makes the world a far grimmer, bleaker, darker world simply by existing,

Repeal "Commend Antarctic Oasis"

Description: Description: WA Security Council Resolution #232: Commend Antarctic Oasis shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: THE SECURITY COUNCIL:

HOLDS the power to bestow commendations upon any nation or region which is deemed worthy of the distinction.

EXPECTS that nations and regions so recognized will behave in a manner that brings further honor and respect upon the nation or region in question, as well as the World Assembly as a whole.

NOTES with dismay that Antarctic Oasis has not always acted in such a way and that some of their more unsavory acts were inadvertently overlooked when their commendation was originally considered.

RECOGNIZES that this region's practice of "creative compliance" crossed a threshold of permissibility following the passage of GA#102, International Criminal Court, upon which region members expressed open defiance toward such a court and their intent to "shoot on sight" any and all WA compliance gnomes tasked with enforcing the resolution.

RECALLS that region members rejoiced in the passage of a home-grown resolution, GA#76, Standardised Passport Act, which created an agency contentiously named the GESTAPO.

OBSERVES that WA ambassadors from Antarctic Oasis often spend their time in wholly unproductive ways, including but not limited to drunken, disorderly, and often lewd and obscene conduct; ignoring serious debate in favor of childish food fights; defenestrating ambassadors with whom they disagree; and, on separate occasions, both flooding and suicide-bombing the Security Council.

DENOUNCES the frequency with which representatives from Antarctic Oasis promote sexist attitudes and the objectification of women, particularly with regards to the honorable ambassador for Thessadoria.

DOCUMENTS the alarming fact that members of Antarctic Oasis publicly flaunt their dissolute lifestyles within the World Assembly, which in turn tempts more virtuous nations to migrate from their original, upstanding regions to join in such debauched behavior.

BELIEVES that any region which engages in such inappropriate actions with regards to World Assembly legislation, governance, and enforcement is unworthy of a commendation.

Commend Ananke II

Recognising that Ananke II is more commonly referred to just as "Ananke",

Recalling that, in 2003, Ananke helped establish the North Pacific Army, a defender military based in the region The North Pacific and which was one of the most active and influential militaries based in one of the Pacifics,

Aware that the Alliance Defense Network (ADN) was the largest multi-regional alliance in NationStates history, and that Ananke rose to the leading position of Secretary of State within it,

Believing that, through holding this position within the ADN, Ananke assisted with the protection of numerous regions from the threat of invasion,

Applauding Ananke's role as one of the three organisers of the liberation of The North Pacific in 2004, the largest successful liberation in NationStates history, which freed the region from the tyranny of the New Pacific Order, a dictatorial regime based out of The Pacific,

Praising Ananke's continued work as a defender - first in the North Pacific Army, then in the ADN, the GLA, and, more recently, in the 10000 Islands Treaty Organisation (TITO) - which has helped to keep hundreds of regions free to rule themselves without interference from hostile foreign forces, and recognising that this is a cause that aligns with the Security Council's aim of spreading interregional peace,

Observing Ananke's tireless work within 10000 Islands, helping to turn it into one of the largest and most influential regions in NationStates through extensive recruiting efforts and the welcoming of every new nation that joins the region, and noting that this work has been a benefit shared by the wider NationStates community, as it leads to an increase in the number of nations actively engaged with their peers,

Recognising Ananke's recently completed stint as delegate of 10000 Islands, during which Ananke became the highest-endorsed delegate in several years and assisted in engaging the 10000 Islands community with the World Assembly,

Acknowledging that, as delegate of 10000 Islands, Ananke was also responsible for leading the foreign affairs mission of the region, helping to drastically increase its foreign affairs involvement, and improving diplomatic relations between 10000 Islands and other regions,

Perceiving that Ananke's work as a defender that spreads interregional peace, and as a delegate and diplomat for 10000 Islands that spreads goodwill, aligns perfectly with the Security Council's aims,

Concluding that few nations have made such a significant and beneficial contribution to NationStates as Ananke has and that this contribution should therefore be recognised through a World Assembly commendation,

Hereby Commends Ananke II.

Noting that their fearless armies of the undead are renowned for conquering regions under the cover of darkness,

Aware that this is a fate that has befallen such prominent regions as Texas, The West Pacific, The Rejected Realms, and The Cuckoos Egg,

Surprised to learn that The Skeleton Army never causes harm to the regions it invades and instead prefers to mingle with the natives, steal food from their barbecues, and attempt to drink beer - with hilarious results,

Appreciating The Skeleton Army's generous supply of sticky ribs to the regions it conquers,

Acknowledging that all that The Skeleton Army requires from its defeated enemies is for them to sign the Thighbone of Surrender,

Believing that these novel and unique military tactics are far superior to the conventional varieties,

Liberate Eastern Europe

Description: Observing Eastern Europe, a founderless region which has been the victim of numerous raids throughout its history,

Impressed that the natives of Eastern Europe are attempting to secure their region by refounding it,

Upset that the current delegate of Eastern Europe, Czech Mate, and the previous delegate, Romani Romania, have now taken control of the refounding effort,

Recognizing that both recent delegates Romani Romania and Czech Mate have ejected natives from behind a hidden password and are working for an unidentified non-native group,

Outraged that numerous nations are known to have been ejected from the region by either Czech Mate or Romani Romania,

Further outraged that the oppressors have severed the connection between the region and the region’s legitimate forums,

Noting that Flobos, a long-time native and former delegate of Eastern Europe, states that Czech Mate is a former member of Eastern Europe from years past attempting to exact revenge upon the region,

Fearing that, without intervention, the region's destruction is imminent because no new nations may enter the region and because almost every nation not aligned with the region's destroyers has been removed,

Affirming that the natives of the region support a liberation,

Asserting that Flobos and other natives deserve a region where they have the ability to control its fate themselves,

Hereby liberates the region of Eastern Europe.

UNDERSTANDING that, during this particular resolution's time at vote, there is already another WASC condemnation of NAZI EUROPE in effect, however recognizing that there has been an ongoing and massive controversy sparked over the other condemnation's denouncement of an ideology and lack of relevance to the region of NE itself and seeking to end said controversy by replacing the other condemnation with a proper piece of WASC legislation,

RECOGNIZING NAZI EUROPE as a region with a history loaded with particularly heinous acts of hostility and intolerance,

NOTING that NAZI EUROPE has initiated the invasion and destruction of numerous regions and tends to target regions with a predominant Communist ideology,

FURTHER NOTING that some of these regions, as a result of NAZI EUROPE's detrimental involvement in their affairs, have been utterly annihilated, and recognizing some of said demolished regions as:
• The "Alliance of bolshevik states," which, according to its world factbook entry after it was invaded, was "taken from the communists by Nazi Europe,"
• "Nazi Rehab," the WFE of which, after a foreign invasion, read similarly to the WFE of the Alliance of bolshevik states: "another Communist hell-hole bites the dust courtesy of Nazi Europe,"
• "Anarchy and Socialist Utopia," which was invaded in late July of 2009 by invaders from Nazi Europe who succeeded in ejecting all the native nations from the region and, despite the revival of the region's founder nation and the dispersal of the NE invaders, evidently succeeded in causing enough lasting damage to the region to bring about its ultimate demise,

DISFAVORING the acts of inhospitality and intolerance made by nations of NAZI EUROPE towards their own subjects and towards other nations in the world, and recognizing some of these acts as:
• The hostility expressed by the representative from Laos Refugees when he is communicating with the representatives of other nations in the World Assembly forums,
• The deplorable behavior of the representative from Laos Refugees during multiple international summit meetings which has caused said formerly calm and controlled meetings to crumble into heated, hostile arguments between groups of national representatives,
• The attempted provocation of Communist nations by the government Laos Refugees, which sought war with said Communist nations,
• The attempt of the former delegate of NAZI EUROPE, Oh my days, to liberate the isolationist region "Haven," which resulted in significant, long-term confusion in the WASC and the inspiration of multiple members of Haven to blacken their reputations in a petulant retaliation against the World Assembly and against the allied regions of NAZI EUROPE (in the form of invasions),
• An absurd declaration of war by former nation "The New Aryan People," which stated that all of NAZI EUROPE was to band together against the World Assembly and destroy it,

BELIEVING these actions to be especially abominable and to be in utter opposition of the WASC's goal of spreading interregional peace and goodwill,

Repeal "Condemn Nazi Europe"

A resolution to repeal a previously passed resolution

Description: WA Security Council Resolution #3: Condemn NAZI EUROPE shall be struck out and rendered null and void.

Argument: The World Assembly,

NOTING that a second condemnation of NAZI EUROPE, which addresses the region's idiosyncratic faults rather than an only an ideology referenced in the region's name, has been passed by the World Assembly,

FURTHER NOTING that there have already been five previous attempts to repeal the original condemnation of NAZI EUROPE in the past and fearing that, if no compromise is made between the large number of WA members calling for a condemnation of NAZI EUROPE and the members of the SC that are unwilling to allow WASC legislation to condemn a region for its ideology alone, the conflict over SC Resolution #3 could continue indefinitely,

UNDERSTANDING that having two condemnations of the same region is fairly redundant, and that, since the second condemnation is of much higher quality and is much more relevant to the history of the region that it condemns than the first condemnation, it is only practical to nullify the former condemnation,

ITERATING that it recognizes the poor quality of the first condemnation of NAZI EUROPE and further noting that the original condemnation of NAZI EUROPE sets a precedent of condemning ideologies, or processes of thought,

BELIEVING that, while certain ideologies may be frowned upon by the majority of the WA Member nations of the world, it is not the right or the purpose of the World Assembly to infringe upon people's right to think for themselves,

FIRMLY ASSERTING that the World Assembly is a body that normally works for the spread of freedom and therefore must not inhibit the right to freedom of thought,

RECOGNIZING that, even if the members of the World Assembly would like to abuse the institution's powers by using the WASC to condemn a process of thought, the constant repeal attempts of WASC Resolution #3 are an incredible waste of the WA's time and that the World Assembly will have spent over two and a half weeks of voting time on repeals of WASC Resolution #3 by the end of the vote on this repeal,

FURTHER RECOGNIZING that the representatives from many WA nations are getting terribly, terribly sick of all this and would really like for it to end, please, if that isn't too much to ask,

NOTING the sheer number of human casualties that were prevented with the adoption of the aforementioned resolution which is all due to the commitment and determination of the Bergnovinaian delegation;

CELEBRATING their creation and continued funding of the International Bureau of Lawyers (IBL), which united attorneys from twenty-two different countries with a range of specialities including criminal and international as well as corporate and transnational corporate law to represent those -- in domestic and international courts such as the International Criminal Court (ICC) -- who otherwise did not have a decent legal representation at their defense;

FURTHER CELEBRATING the nominee’s creation and leadership of the Nuclear Arms Assembly (NAA), a --now dissolved-- body of member nations committed to:
• The non-proliferation of nuclear weapons;
• Humanitarian support (particularly for radiological and nuclear disasters);
• A reduction of nuclear warfare;
• Peaceful mediation and peacekeeping;
• Replacing outdated nuclear technology;
• The education of nuclear technicians;

ACKNOWLEDGING that the NAA, in its prime contained sixty-two powerful member nations, and was a guiding peacekeeping and humanitarian force in international incidents including:
• The evacuation, and recovery of the Southern Province of Pan-freeland after civil turmoil in the fledgling nation had caused a nuclear war;
• Mediation in a successful peace conference between the following WA member nations... Jlop, Juthra, Kriania and Almaniania, that resulted in a total nuclear disarmament between the involved parties and a peaceful resolution;
• The successful resistance of an Orlkjestadi invasion of Slaytesics, a WA member nation;
• An engagement of heavy economic sanctions and war against Southern United Africa, for their barbaric history of chemical warfare;
• The diplomatic arbitration in a conflict between Chezovolvia and Sunkistodia, while aiding in the containment of the disease which instigated the conflict;
• Support for Seculartopia, by constructing temporary barriers around the southern end of the Sagan River Bank -- thus protecting citizens from radiological contamination and flooding;

BELIEVING that while the NAA may have recently dissolved because of inactivity -- the spirit and the contributions of an international actor like the NAA or a state-actor like Bergnovinaia, deserve to be immortalized for future generations to find inspiration from;

Noting with approval Starblaydia's vast sporting successes that — at the time of this writing — includes five World Cups, six Atlantian Oceania Confederation of Association Football (AOCAF) Cups, two U21 World Cups, five Cherry Cups and the first Quidditch World Cup,

Observing the World Cup Committee — a body of nations that manages and organizes the biggest and most prestigious international sporting events in NationStates:

Celebrating the nominee for having — at the time of this writing — presided the World Cup Committee for fifteen world cups (also serving as the acting president during WC52-54) in an elected position that requires dedication and integrity,

Liberate Republicans

Having considered the following annotations:

Annot.1 § Republicans is an older region in NationStates, it was first founded at-least by May 28 2003. In March 2010, it reportedly had a had a moderately sized region (6-13 nations) including a delegate. Following the founder's cessation of existence shortly thereafter, Republicans degraded over the course of the year into a region with approximatively two natives residing in it,

Annot.2 § Borrachia moved to Republicans on Nov. 25 2010, as a "sleeper" for the Greater German Reich, which means Borrachia sat in Republicans to develop regional influence there with the intent of furthering the aims of a foreign force -- in this case, the foreign force was the Greater German Reich. On Nov. 30 2010, Maritime Cities, German Irish Bund, Wasaplol, Tinajeros and Drayerstone, crashed into the region and endorsed Borrachia. Shortly after -- with these endorsements -- Borrachia attained the position of WA Delegate in Republicans. Although at least one defender group strongly suspected this was a raid, the supposed invaders seemed to be benevolent and the natives made "no reply or confused responses" when contacted by the Founderless Region Alliance (FRA) in regards to their new delegate,

Annot.3 § Following a series of debates on Republicans' Regional Message Board (RMB), the natives concluded that the new occupants of the region, Borrachia and its entourage, "must be okay". Nonetheless, Borrachia ejected a few relatively new natives, The Freeturf, The Hut and House and Hancok from Republicans with little or no explanation as to why this action was neccessary. In response, Freeturf founded Conservadom, which has inadvertently served as a refugee haven for the victims of the Republicans invasion,

Annot.4 § On Dec. 20 2010, Borrachia had accumulated enough regional influence to impose a password on Republicans. Shortly after the imposition of the password, two natives, Ipsens Castle and Heleneslandgrant were ejected and banned from Republicans. With a password secured, the Greater German Reich was more open and frank about its intentions for the nominated region. The Greater German Reich declared that Republicans was the Reich's first "Reichskommissariat" (a territorial acquisition) and demanded that the only remaining native not resist the "dominance" and "subjugation" of the Reich over Republicans,

Annot.5 § The Greater German Reich has conducted missions like this before. The Reich raided Union of The Snake on May 11 2010. Within a few hours, a password was imposed and the invaders left, except for one of them which stayed in the region till it perished sometime between June 20 - June 26 2010. It is unclear if the Reich is lying, and intends to merely destroy the region as it did with Union of The Snake, or keep it as its "Reichskommissariat" as it claims it intends to,

Recognizing that the Greater German Reich's password abets its subjugation and perhaps destruction of Republicans which surely threatens interregional peace and goodwill, and the activity, access and amenities of said region,

Believing the Security Council has a duty to prevent the abuse of the World Assembly's administrative powers by the Greater German Reich,

Hereby Liberates Republicans.

Condemn Kalasparata

RECOGNIZING Kalasparata as a threat to the safety and stability of the world,

NOTING that Kalasparata routinely subjects its population to needless cruelties to even minor infractions of the law and its routine abuse of the citizens of fellow nations,

HORRIFIED of the few punishments that Kalasparata has revealed to the international public which include but is not limited to

• Punishing citizens for crimes such as driving while under the influence by wounding the offender with a firearm, performing surgery on the criminal without the usage of anesthetics, offering them little time to heal with no pain relievers and little to no antibiotics before putting them in the equivalent of a work camp. Criminals that do not perform duties to the expectation of camp wardens have their necessary limbs amputated and are forced to continue aforementioned duties

• Paying motorists to drive their vehicles over criminals the Kalasparatan government deems unfit to continue living

• Forcing prisoners to consume feces and drink urine or leave prisoners in conditions that otherwise force them to commit such acts out of survival

• Sending prisoners to a so-called 'Danger Island' which contains numerous biological and natural hazards, leaving the prisoners for upwards of three days

• Stapling mouths of prisoners shut so that they are effectively silenced, repeated acid and or fire burns and branding prisoners with molten magnesium, often resulting in the loss of aforementioned prisoner's arms or legs

• 'On the spot' penalties such as removing a criminal's hands and forcing them to buy the victim a new car for spilling paint. Criminals that cannot pay are forced to work in a factory for just meager wages

APPALLED by the nation of Kalasparata's blatant abuse of children by torturing children for often mild infractions of school policy, especially in cases of fighting where weaponry is used. Such torture in Kalasparata results in the death of the subject in adult cases, much less in child cases,

ACKNOWLEDGING the nation of Kalasparata as a threat to both its people and the international community around it because

• Repeated and unnecessary abuse of tourists and travelers by forcing their vehicles to stop well outside of their territorial waters and force passengers to wait unreasonable times for clearance, even if they were never intending to stop in Kalasparata

• Abducting citizens of nations who happened to be involved with one of Kalasparata's numerous forced vehicle checks if they are part of a blacklist

• Taking vehicles deemed to be unsafe by the Kalasparatan Transport Authority forcefully, ejecting the passengers of aforementioned vehicles and then taking the passengers and crew to an unspecified area

• Repeated usage of antimatter in portions upwards of 500 kilograms against the vehicles that violate their travel restrictions, endangering not only themselves but large portions of the world on a near daily basis

• Numerous documented cases of the nation of Kalasparata selling off humans, perhaps those taken by the black list authority for both food and medical testing

CONCLUDING that Kalasparata is a threat deemed necessary of a condemnation because of its reckless disregard of human life, unnecessary usage of weapons of mass destruction and clearly needless hostility towards its international neighbors,

NOTING that the Reduction of Abortion (GA#44) respected national sovereignty on the issue of abortion’s legality, and made a groundbreaking compromise that as a result has permitted a comprehensive sex education to help reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies in all member-nations,

* Bone, muscle, and nerve transplantation experiments (The bone transplantation from one person to another. Sections of bones, muscles, and nerves were removed from the subjects without use of anesthesia. As a result of these operations, many victims suffered intense agony, mutilation, and permanent disability.)

HEREBY LIBERATES Wonderful Paradise.
