Strengths and Weaknesses

    Source of Power: Experimental viral gene therapy.

    Powers :

    Elastic Body: Agent Elastic can stretch out his body to 15m^2 comfortably, and up to 20m^2 with considerable effort. Stretching beyond this limit can lead to tears in the suit and the subsequent loss of cohesion with his physical form. Blunt force trauma has very little to no effect on him, and he can withstand most small arms fire without injury. Slicing weapons, such as swords or knives, and sharp shrapnel can harm him normally.

    Limited Healing: Agent Elastic won't heal immediately, but over the course of 24 hours of rest his body will heal most damage to itself by replacing mass that was disrupted with mass from other areas of the body. Significant injury or scattering of his physical form would overwhelm his healing and kill him.

    Limited Shapeshifting: Agent Elastic can engage in limited shapeshifting by redistributing his mass around his body. This can't be used to make him completely unrecognizable, but he can do things like restructure his face to appear a bit more handsome, get rid of fat and add muscles.

    Prehensile Stretching: Agent Elastic is able to manipulate his body while it is stretching in a way that almost makes him seem like he is made up of a gel rather than solid bone and muscle.

    Abilities:

    PR Training: Anton Navarro went to school to be a PR Representative, and has a Bachelors degree in that field.

    Bilingual: Anton can speak both Spanish and English due to his upbringing in a bilingual household.

    Equipment:

    Stability Suit: Proprietary technology of Callisto Industries, it was gifted to Anton after the accident at their genetics facility granted him his powers in order to prevent him from losing molecular cohesion. This suit can stretch up to 20 meters without breaking, and is resistant to small arms fire. It also generates a molecular cohesion field that has a synaptic interface, which helps Anton keep his body in the shape that he wants it in. It was originally intended to be the prototype for a new combat suit for the recipients of Callisto's gene therapy, and now it is a walking advertisement, bearing the company's logo on the chest.

    Weaknesses:

    All the King's Men: The suit that Anton wears is essential to his ability to maintain his shape and cohesion. If the suit is torn, he will begin to leak out of it if the tear is not patched. Without the suit, he becomes an immobile pile of mush, unable to maintain his form or manipulate his mass.


Background:

    Job: PR Rep for Callisto Inc.

    Legal Status: TIAMA affiliated hero, US Citizen.

    Backstory: Anton Navarro's story is the typical immigrant story: his father came to New York from Mexico with a few dollars in his pocket and a dream, and ended up in a bad neighborhood driving a cab and working at a corner store to make ends meet while he went to law school. There he met Anton's mother, a law student who lived in the neighborhood. They fell in love, got engaged, and married right out of school. Anton came along just a year later, while his father was working for the ACLU and his mother was working as a public defender. They grew up semi-comfortably, but not rich by any means, and Anton resolved that he was going to get rich one day so that he could set his parents up with the life he felt they deserved. So, he went to school, and soon found he had a flair for smooth talk and understanding complicated legal reasoning, making him a perfect candidate to go into the quite lucrative field of Public Relations.

    He went to Columbia and graduated with a Bachelor's in Public Relations, and was immediately scouted by Callisto Inc. to be on their PR team. He found himself apt at the job, and quickly made his way up the ranks until one fateful day. He was leading a tour of a cutting-edge genetics lab for some prospective investors when a horrible accident occured during a containment procedure. Anton stayed behind and helped everyone evacuate, but was unfortunately exposed to a viral genetic therapy that was still in the testing stages, intended to create the ultimate soldier.

    Instead, it caused Anton to literally begin to melt, much to his horror, and it took weeks of experimentation before Callisto was able to determine that he hadn't been reduced to so much protein-rich sludge. The puddle of flesh still responded to stimuli, and every once in a while Anton could form an eye, a mouth, but nothing so complicated as a voicebox or lungs to voice his existential terror. Eventually, they tried pouring him into the prototype suit that had been crafted for when they began the first round of human testing, and it turned out that the many systems and properties of the suit allowed Anton to maintain a humanoid physical form, and even alter and control it to an extent. After a few months of testing and making sure that he could exist while contained within a suit, he was given an offer by Callisto.

    They wanted him to register as a Hero with TIAMA, with the caveat that he would be sponsored by the company and be the mascot for the corporation. The 8 figure salary that they offered him for this position was too much for him to pass up, and he joined the heroic organization just as soon as he was given a clean bill of health by the company's researchers and doctors.

    He now serves as the ever-grinning, handsome face of Callisto Inc., always ready to lend a hand or pose for a picture with fans.

    Martin is tall, standing at 6 foot 5, and being broadly built, having muscle from hard work and effort rather than 'fake' muscles others possess. Though his left eye is covered by an eyepatch most of the time, there are fine blade scars that cn be seen leading under it. His eyes are heterochromic, with his right eye being green, and his left being a chilling blue, in color.



Motivations
    Goals: Master the application and uses of his eyes.
    Fears: Not seeing, as strange as it sounds. For most of his life has has seen and his peculiar eyes are an integral part of him now.


Strengths and Weaknesses
    Source of Power: Biological mutation for his body and right eye. His Left eye may or may not be the missing eye of Odin (Up to Anowa and the others).
    Power(s): Enhanced Eyesight: His eyes can move independently of one another, but he usually does not do so, due to the amount of data obtained. Oculus has enhanced eyesight in both eyes, to varying degrees. His right eye can zoom in, and switch between multiple spectrum's of vision and even pick out certain colors or the like if he wants. He can use it to notice extraordinary details, ie slight cracks in a wall revealing a weak-point, the muscle twitches of someone lying or about to explode into action. It can also see through illusions and adapts to low light conditions easily, he can track people by their natural auras and see magic, that is normally invisible to people. This eye can calculate probabilities to a point, but the outcome is not fixed.

    His left eye however, is on a whole other level, it allows him to perceive things at a faster or slower pace, ocularly speaking, and so much more. This eye can also see radio waves, microwaves, sound waves and the like. HE can even see things on the atomic level, if he could fully use the eye he could have enhanced reflexes and be able to nearly predict what will happen and be able to dodge bullets and other feats, but unfortunately, he can't.
    Enhanced Intelligence: He is not exactly a genius i would say, more that he is extremely knowledgeable. He can store and access all information his eyes register, which is the only reason he has not gone mad as of yet. HE remembers everything he has ever seen and read, and can sort through his memories and pretty much relive that experience. This trait, along with his eyes has made him immune to most mind altering and mind controlling affects as well as anything that causes auditory and visual hallucinations.
    Abilities: He is a skilled sketch artist due in part to his memory,
    Equipment: He usually has an assortment of weapons on him and tactical gear. The eyepatch over his left eye is rather special, it is made of mystical material and enchanted in ways to ensure it does not allow anything through.
    Weaknesses: His powers are mainly related to his eyes. He does not possess the physical ability to do some things his powers make possible, even now sometimes he will move to do something in response to what he sees and injure himself in doing so. He is nearly useless against most Metahumans in close range. His left eye takes concentration for him to use, due to the sheer amount of information it allows him to process.

    Backstory:Summary(Will expand later) More than a Decade ago Oculus was part of a freelance group of metahumans who didn't exactly follow the law but did not harm innocents and did a lot of good. During the period of unrest and criminal activity following the Cabal's retirement Oculus and his compatriots were targeted by those they had dealt with in the past. As a result of the actions taken during that time the group broke up, some retired others continued. For the next few years Oculus sold himself as a mercenary a soldier of fortunes whose price was equal to his skills. Following a certain event that left more than a few people dead those behind TIAMA gave him a choice, fight the good fight their way or get tossed into a dark hole and forgotten.

    Age: He as a being has not existed for much time.
    Appearance:
    Bulwark stands at just over 9 and a half feet in height being many feet wide at the shoulders. He weighs just over a ton weighing in at 2,350 pounds in weight. His face is extremely rugged, and though not handsome by any means, he is not disfigured, thoaugh at times he can have a bestial snarl on his face.

Strengths and Weaknesses
    Source of Power: a Serum changed him into his current state.
    Powers : Enhanced condition: he would be monumentally strong if his strength was simply biological, but he is in fact far stronger. He can casually lift and move tons of weight, though there is a limit, and effort is required. Generally he has a max lift weight of 13 metric tons, though has lifted more once, at a cost.

    His physical form, is humanoid, definitely, but is far different from most human’s. His bones are much thicker and denser, capable of bearing a much greater strain and load than normal. His muscle and tissue is the same, dense and tough, his skin is thick as well, in a more literal sense. Few things beneath a 50 caliber bullet in power can actually wound him, with some exceptions. He can heal from most wounds within days or months, longer if they are too severe. Explosions can disorient him if strong enough but for the most part, they do not injure him too much.

    Instinctual Mind: He is not as smart, per se as the average human, but he also has a mind unlike any human’s. He is not capable of lying, or other actions and has a strong intuition against danger, and subconsciously can see when someone is lying, within reason. His senses are affected by this, being heightened, but not quite superhuman in nature. This gives him both resistance to mind altering affects and a unique point of view.

    Weaknesses: Though capable of great speed, that is through simple muscle power, and is slower in reactions and mental capacity than most meta humans and humans. He is simple minded and could be manipulated by half-truths or mind controlling abilities. Though he is rather stronger, and his body is tough, pushing himself can damage his body and lay him up for a while. There are things that he cannot break, and things he cannot lift, and those he cannot over power. The combination of his enhances senses and his mental mindset makes him quite attuned to pheromones. Due to his weight and density, the floors of most multi-leveled buildings cannot handle his weight, and his size prevents him from comfortably entering and traveling in most buildings.

    Legal Status:
    Backstory: Bulwark was not always Bulwark once he was an intelligence oriented hero affiliated with TIAMA, Tyler Logan Jefferson, aka the Brain. A certain event shortly after he joined TIAMA caused Brain to turn his intelligence towards creating a serum of sorts which would grant him a more robust physique. Tyler succeeded and began to produce more of the serum after testing it on himself to some success. An accident in the lab led Tyler to overdosing on the serum and going comatose. During the comatose state his body greatly changed until it took his currently form.

    During his first moments of life Bulwark panicked, causing much unfortunate destruction. He was in hiding and on the run for some time, that changed nearly 3 years ago. During an attack pieces of a building started raining down on a nearby street, It was his next actions which gave him his name.

    “I saw the building fall towards me and my family, thought we were all going to die, then a massive figure blocked the pieces with his body, he was like a Bulwark, a shield protecting me and my family from harm.”

    Since that day he has been with TIAMA and has lived up to his name in several incidents.


Oculus is accepted, I'll wait for casting Judgement on Bulwark 'till he's finished

Character Description
    Name: Rowan Morgan Clarcke.
    Aliases: Toxin. Formerly known as Gaea and then Gaea's Toxin.
    Gender: Female.
    Age: 33.
    Appearance:
    Here as Clarcke, and something like this here when masquerading as Toxin. Her skin tends to turn a shade of green as Toxin. Despite her age, she appears much younger as a result of her exposure and subsequent powers. In public, she plays this off as good genetics and the benefit of living off of an eco-friendly, sustainable diet.



Motivations
    Goals: To reduce the amount of pollution and environmental damage humanity is doing to the planet, with the ultimate goal of finding technologies with zero environmental footprints to replace current, unsustainable tech. Her methodology in doing so is to embark on a campaign of terror to encourage the public to turn against the damaging practices of private companies and governments, as well as scare/encourage the aforementioned companies and governments into beginning research into alternative, sustainable, technologies. She also seeks to expand her basically-fictitious organization, the Global Liberation Army of Earth (GLAE). If she fails in this regard, there's no telling what sort of measures she may resort to in order to preserve Earth's future.
    Fears: She fears the end of Earth and the complete environmental collapse of the planet, indirectly fearing the destruction of humanity as one knows it. Death as a direct concept is not something that concerns Toxin, who only worries that death will mean the end of her crusade. Instead, she worries that if or when she dies, there will be no one to pick up the proverbial falling torch.


Strengths and Weaknesses
    Source of Power: Toxin's source of power is derived primarily from her exposure to experimental genetic re-sequencing materiel. However, her experience as a skilled and trained chemist also supplement this.
    Powers :
    • Gaea's Gift: Toxin can control, in a localized area around her person [500 meter], any number of plants to a reasonable limit. The larger the plant, the fewer she can control. For example, she can bend to her will three trees, but ten large bushes, etc. With this she can manipulate their stems, trunks, branches, etc., and even force them to work together as one single unit. This requires her ongoing and continued concentration, and if interrupted, can and will end her control over the plants.
    • Gaea's Curse: Toxin's skin, pores, mouth, and nose excrete a poisonous spore that follows her around as Toxin. In interior spaces, especially if it's cramped, the spores can quickly infest the entire area, making it nearly impossible to breathe. Similarly, her skin is venomous and coated in a substance that envenoms a victim if touched - the longer the contact, the worse the effects. The spores cause respiratory issues, including shortness of breath and exhaustion; prolonged exposure can lead to temporary paralysis and ultimately death via asphyxiation. Her venomous touch causes a drain-like effect on the victim, who feels weakened and tired, though they remain in extreme pain, with the area affected feeling as if it was on fire. Necrosis is localized on the area, but like necrosis from other sources it can spread if not treated. She is, obviously, immune to the spores that she emits.
    • Spring Undying: Toxin has a unique cellular make-up as a result of her exposure to the gene-modifying experiments. She has a much higher count of precursor cells in her body, which allow her to heal much faster than a normal human, and even stunt her aging process. It's as of yet not clear whether or not the stunt in aging is purely aesthetic or if it is indeed slowing the entire aging process. Her healing factor isn't miraculous, but losing a limb is no longer a death sentence. It may put her out of commission for months, but things will regrow.
    Abilities:
    • Skilled Chemist: Clarcke has a doctorate in organic chemistry, and has been practicing the science since the beginning of her undergraduate degree. During most of her educational tenure, she was well-known as a bright student, quick learner, and eager chemist, much to the pleasure of her professors and chagrin of her classmates. Since the earning of her doctorate, however, she has turned her experience with chemicals towards a darker path - the creation and use of chemical weapons, ranging from primitive but well-refined chlorine gas mixtures and homemade tear gas to homebrew-quality Cyclosarin gas. Alongside her more "natural" powers, she employs her chemist's talent to supplement and augment both her effectiveness and reputation.
    • Environmental Activist: Due to her time and ongoing part-time occupation as an environmental activist, Clarcke has significant organizational experience in preparing and executing strikes and protests, as well as a fair bit of experience with public speaking. She also has a fair bit of experience "spinning" things to seem much worse or better than they actually are, and making either herself or organizations that she's representing sound a lot more attractive.
    • Double Life: Rowan, and by extension, Toxin, live a double-life. Rowan has become well-versed in not only managing her time as an activist and time as Toxin, but also become a skilled liar who is able to not only keep and maintain her cover personality on a regular basis, but is also good at distancing herself from the radical actions that Toxin undertakes.
    Equipment:
    • A well-equipped lab in Northern Idaho on a property that's under her father's name. This lab, formerly a part of her childhood home, is extremely cutting-edge in terms of rural Idaho, and possesses the ability to synthesize any sort of chemical, from rudimentary fusions to the advanced manufacture of nerve agents such as cyclosarin, VX, and most worryingly, if necessary, Novichok-esque agents.
    • A number of less-than-legal firearms inherited from her father. This includes a Mossberg 590A 'Shockwave' shotgun, a Colt M1911 pistol chambered for .45 ACP, and an AR-15 that's comprised of a number of different parts and illegally modified to be fully automatic. She also inherited an ArmaLite AR-10 chambered in .308.
    Weaknesses:
    • Fire is the largest and most obvious one. Since all of Toxin's powers are based off of plant material and its by-products anything that can burn it away and prevent it from growing, expanding, or healing itself seriously damages Toxin's ability to fight. Armoured heroes and "hard targets", or those equipped to deal with her atmospheric alterations would also pose a serious threat to her.
    • She also requires a unique chlorophyll cocktail to drink to maintain her normal identity. If she does not regularly and continually drink these, she will begin exhibiting the symptoms of Toxin.
    • She also feels the pain of all of the plants that she is currently controlling. If a tree branch immobilizing an enemy is cut off, Toxin witnesses the trauma of the tree losing that branch and the subsequent pain and anguish.


Background:
    Job: She's an associate of Greenpeace, but lives almost completely off the grid. Property deeds in her name are all legal. Most of her money is earned through her criminal activities, including contract jobs for "wetwork".
    Legal Status: Rowan is a legal citizen of the United States with no official criminal record, though is known by the government to be involved with organizations like Greenpeace.
    Backstory: Rowan Morgan Clarcke was born to David Jacob Clarcke and Hannah Clarcke-Hess in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, where the couple was staying immediately prior to Rowan's birth. The pair and their child shortly after relocated back to their property, an estate of some disrepair, where Rowan would grow up. Clarcke and his wife were both affiliates of the racist neo-nazi Aryan Nations, and for her entire childhood Rowan was raised and educated within an atmosphere of isolation and intolerance. Despite this, however, Rowan quickly proved herself to be a bright child, and as she grew older came to resent the AN and Christian Identity movements, which caused a great rift between her and her parents. Eventually, against the wishes of her parents, she began attending high school in Coeur D'Alene where she received extraordinarily high grades, especially in the sciences. When she accepted a scholarship to the California Institute of Technology for an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, she became permanently estranged from her parents.

    While her scholarship was relatively generous, living costs during her time in college continued to mount. At the same time, Rowan became exposed to a number of radical environmentalist movements. With her childhood spent in the vast wilderness of Northern Idaho, rather than get a job to help support herself, she joined the radical environmentalist group, the Earth Liberation Force. While her participation was voluntary, they helped Rowan, who at this time was going by her initials R.M.C, with food and a place to stay. She finished her undergraduate degree a year early and on the honour's list despite suspicion with her involvement in the ELF. After this she remained at CIT not only to continue to participate in ELF activities, but to pursue her master's, and then doctorate, in biochemistry and organic chemistry. While furthering her education, she was introduced to the ideologies of Ted Kaczynski. Reading greatly into both his beliefs and methodology, she became inspired by what she called "Ted's brevity".

    When she was 26, she accompanied two other members of the ELF on a mission to break in and sabotage the activities of a California-based GMO company that was reportedly experimenting on gene splicing with rats and apes. Shortly after the break-in, the mission went awry when the trio got in a brief shootout with security on site, and Rowan was exposed during this time to an experimental gas that was meant to re-sequence plant genes. Blacking out while fleeing the scene, she would awake to find that her two companions had abandoned her, too afraid to bring her to a hospital. Stumbling back to her apartment, she decided that the ELF was no good for her, and instead opted to split off from them. During the subsequent weeks, as her powers began to manifest, she began to view the ELF as not radical enough or grand enough in their scope.

    Returning home to Northern Idaho to her parent's place, she discovered that her father was dying of cancer. Earning back her favour with the pair by pretending to once more embrace their Christian Identity ideology, she set up a small chemistry lab on their estate and hiding her powers from them and the world at large through the use of a number of chlorophyll cocktails. Under the guise of taking care of her father, she managed to lull her parents into a false sense of security. Gradually collecting all of the information she needed to virtually assume their identities, she sedated both of them, and began utilizing their resources and money for her own purposes, expanding on her laboratory and transforming the property into an ecologically self-sufficient area, powered by wind and solar power.

    Over the years, Toxin began organizing the so-called "Global Liberation Army of Earth", a so-called organization that was organized and run by herself - with only one member. In reality, the GLAE was simply a front - an organization that was constructed to help hide Toxin's identity and act as the shadow to her campaign: a larger reflection of her goals, scaring her opponents, but otherwise being a fiction. The GLAE would go on to claim a number of terror attacks over the years, varying in size and intensity, ranging from raids on chemical warehouses to bombing whalers, and even the infamous bombing of a commercial airliner in 2015. Toxin's agenda has gradually shifted from her original idea - the complete primitivization of Humanity - towards a more "reasonable" goal: the intimidation of worldwide governments into investing seriously into sustainable, environmentally-safe alternatives to ecologically-damaging factors.

    Goals: Blood. A neverending desire for blood. Other than that though...she delights in collecting things and does intend to have a grand collection of art and artifacts before she will assume the throne of Bohemia which is hers by right.
    Fears: Being weak and powerless and death. Like most magical vampire's she's developed an incredible fear of perishing and all the souls she has consumed, all her sins catching up to her. Her fear of weakness and helplessness stems from her helplessness in the past. She couldn't defend herself against her brother. She couldn't stand up to the Nazis. Never again.

      Like all Magical Vampires, the Scarlet Baroness is very well attuned to the power of the blood and has spent centuries with the study of magic and the like, silently amassing wealth, power, influence and knowledge in her hiding place below Prague. With her traumatic experiences during the 2nd World War, the Scarlet Baroness has found herself with an extreme excess of magical power at her fingertips and an evern greater reason to use that power well, deepening her studies of the magical arts and truly establishing herself as a well versed master across many schools of magic and one of the primary authorities on the topic of Blood Magic.
    Abilities:
    Equipment: While they have a great store of artifacts and other things at home, for now only one of these matters, even if she does not carry it with her. That being the Book of Souls, an ancient tome filled to the brim with necromantic knowledge and power.
    Weaknesses:
    • She's a magical Vampire and comes with all affiliated powers and weaknesses.

        Legal Status: Not a wanted criminal per se but she is certainly on the morally utterly bankrupt side of things and has ordered and done things that go against the law and human morals. Alas, few were ever traced back to her.
        Backstory:
        Hmm. Ah nice background. Let`s get to this right from the start then. She was born as the third child to Wenzel I. of Bohemia in the year 1237. Back then she was happy because her father loved her very very much. But this was also her downfall as her elder brother, Ottokar II. Premysl envied her and believed that his father would give the throne to her. He had already killed the eldest child, his brother Vladislav to get the throne and he didn`t want to see all his hard work go up in smoke. And so he murdered her in 1247 and started his revolution right after. His father however managed to retrieve Antonia`s dying body and and together with his wife he sought out a satanic cult. His wife, Kunigunde of Swabia, sacrificed herself in order to complete a ritual, a bargain with a foul being, a dark deity, to return life to the body of their daughter.

        However, it was not really his child that he got back. The ritual had transformed Antonia into a bloodthirsty creature with immense powers. Loving father that he was he fed her with criminals and whatever she desired whenever she desired it, not realizing that he made her more powerful with every drop of blood she took. Antonia herself was disgusted by what she had become but her urges were just too strong for her. And ever since the ritual her heart seemed to be made of stone as she knew no compassion or mercy anymore. Only when her father died she cried a single tear of blood. After that she simply vanished. She seemed to have lived a long life in Prague, feeding on the human population and growing her power and influence.

        But that couldn't continue forever, And it didn't. 1939, the year when the Nazis took Czechoslovakia. Nobody today knows how, but it seemed that the SS Paranormal Division, the SSAfP had managed to capture her, using some kind of trick. Probably one out of the arsenal of the Old Teutonic Order which had been hunting down Witches, Magicians, Vampires and all other monsters and creatures for centuries. During the war she was first held in a secret facility of the SSAfP in Brno on Reinhardt Heydrich's order, where they ran countless grueling experiments on her, fully using the opportunity they had on hand with her. She was then later transferred to Treblinka in May 1942, being quite literally built into the camp itself, so secure was her prison. And there they continued conducting their experiments, this time on a much grander scale and with a much different purpose, experiments that the Scarlet Baroness would never forgive the Nazis for. She was quite literally force fed the blood and souls of the people perishing in the camps of Treblinka...untill the Nazis had to close the camp as her powers were growing too strong and the countless dead buried around the camp continued to rise again and again. The Nazis were forced to stop, cremate the dead and move her elsewhere where she couldn't find puppets to manipulate for her escape. She was then instead transferred to Ausschwitz-Birkenau in August 1943, where the usual, cruel force feeding and many years and months of torment under the merciless eyes of one Dr. Josef Mengele, a man called the Angel of Death, continued.

        The Scarlet Baroness managed to make her escape in mid December of 1944, escaping heavily wounded and with little more than some rags on her body in the SS general deconstruction of the extermination camp. Spending some time to recuperate and heal her injuries with blood magic, the Baroness then continued westwards, making her way back to Bohemia and then from there starting her own, personal war on the Nazis, striking what facilities she knew off, aiding local resistance and getting into contact with the Allied Forces in order to see her one and only burning desire to completion. The elimination of the SS Paranormal Division that had caused her so much woe and the destruction of their plans. She was instrumental in stopping the execution of Hitler's final order, the Nero order, aiding Allied Commandos in the battle for the Kyffhäuser Mountain in mid April 1945 which ended with the decapitation of the SS Paranormal Division and the stopping of their plans.

        Her lust for vengeance nearly satisfied, the Scarlet Baroness returned to Prague from where she followed the proceedings concerning the Nazi War Criminals with great interest as she intended to get the SSAfP's head, Standartenführer Haegler, after the trials and torment him in return for all the torment he had caused her during the war. With his execution at Nuremberg, she intended to gather his body and torment his soul for all eternity yet her helpers found that they came too late. Nazi loyalists had already stolen the body, causing the Scarlet Baroness much outrage and a manhunt across Europe for a body she could not find, causing her to not notice the Stalinist noose tightening around her.

        During the Stalinist purges in Czechoslovakia which started in 1948, the Scarlet Baroness once again escaped barely with her life, fleeing to Liechteinstein instead where she would set up her new base of operations. Having been robbed of much of her influence, wealth, power and her collection twice within such very short time, the Scarlet Baroness decided that perhaps she had meddled too much in the world of the mortals. That perhaps she should go undercover once again and wait out a new age.

        And so she waited, remained still during the cold war and when the Iron Curtain fell and the Warsaw Pact broke apart, when the haunting specter of communism left her lands, she once again returned to Prague, nestling once again deep below the Prague Castle, reclaiming her hideout and her collection and quickly going about following some rumours and news which had come to her ears during the Cold War but she had decided not to follow any further out of fear of exposing herself once more and then getting hunted by KGB or CIA. However, now, with the world growing more peaceful, she saw the opportunity to finally carefully begin inserting herself into society again, little by little, through thralls and familiars and agents. She followed rumours about the re-emergence of the Nazis, about their networks and the like. About OdeSSA, HIAG, the Last Battalion and so many other names and organisations which were rumoured to exist or to have nefarious purposes. She wondered...could she still get a hold of that bastard Haegler and give him what he deserved?

        Decades later and many rumours and facts later, she finally had a lead in 2017. Standartenführer Haegler was alive...and he was in the US, preparing whatever new nefarious scheme he had cooked up. She too ventured to the US then and after multiple minor clashes with TIAMA, Interpol the NYPD, finally tracked this son of a bitch Haegler down, fighting the surprisingly strong SSAfP leader and finding out why and how he had not only survived his execution but also continued his existence to this very day without aging even a tiny bit. With some effort and the use of a long winded spell, the Scarlet Baroness was capable of banishing the SS Standartenführer, finally claiming victory over Haegler and knowing, that his removal would turn his organisation into turmoil. Finally, at long last content, she returned to Czechia, continuing her life below Prague, doing little more than studying and growing her collection.

    Powers :
    • Undead
      The Hessian is quite clearly dead. Well, undead seeing how he's still moving. But his body, his body does not require food, drink, air, warmth or rest. Nor does it die when struck by what would kill other men. With his strength now fully unlocked and not hindered by the constraints of a mortal body, he is capable of lifting around 900 kg.
    • Repeated Haunting
      The Hessian cannot be destroyed by regular means. Acid, fire, melee weapons, guns, disintegrators, none of it can truly kill the Hessian as his body begins to recompose in his final resting place below the church of Sleepy Hollow over the next day, the church seeing him leaving the very next night.
    • Death's Touch
      Touching any part of the Hessian's exposed skin will cause the toucher's life force to leak out of them. This leak can be enlarged exponentially by increasing the skin contact, either in pure area or length of time. For reference, a healthy young male will, after having been slapped on his exposed cheek by the Hessian's exposed hands, become sick and die within 5 days of the slap.
    • Vision of the Dead
      Despite his lack of a head, the Hessian can very much see. In a 50 meter radius around him, the Hessian can see as we humans do, though there are no colours and structures appear washed out and lifeless. However, the Hessian can also see "life" within this radius, through obstacles, walls and cloaking devices. He can feel the warmth of life, he craves it, envies it and is drawn to it like a moth to the flame so unless magical precautions have been taken or life is fleeting, he will find his prey within this radius.
    • Hellsteed
      The Hessian can summon and unsummon a hellish steed to his side which loyally carries him wherever he needs to go. It is a great, nightmarish black horse, hellfire burning in its eyesockets. It's intelligence and malice seems to go beyond that of normal horses and its body appears to be just as like the Hessians, unfettered by the shackles of mortality, riding however long is required of it and shrugging off grievous wounds like they are nothing.
    • The Ghost Hour
      Every Night between 0:00 AM and 1:00 AM GMT-4, the Hessian's powers are boosted far beyond what they are normally at. His strength increases to a lifting strength of 10 t, his body regenerates from injuries and puts itself back together on the spot, rather than disappearing to his resting place, his sight is increased to a 100 m radius and his speed and reaction time finds itself more than twice as fast as that of a regular human.

      The Hessian can only leave his final resting place between 9 PM and 6 AM GMT-4. Should he find himself outside of his final resting place after 6 AM, his form would start disintegrating and forcefully return to his final resting place.
    • All things Holy
      Someone truly, honestly and faithfully believing in religion will have a practical, physical shield around him that the Hessian cannot penetrate. Holy artifacts, scriptures or places are also similarly barring the Hessian from entry or passing, though he is still very much capable to use objects to penetrate through this wall of faith that keeps him out. However, most damning of all is, that a person of true and honest faith, can put the Hessian to rest, by reciting a prayer for the dead, which will change the Hessian's clothes to pure white and let the troubled spirit pass on into the afterlife.
    • Death's Chill
      In a 50 meter radius around the Hessian the temperature rapidly cools down, getting downright chilly, regardless of heaters or clothes. It does not cause more than some discomfort to those within this radius and as such is primarily a weakness as it betrays the Hessian's presence.


Background:
    Job: Hitman
    Legal Status: Unknown but wanted serial killer.
    Backstory: Little is known or remembered about the Hessian's life other than that he was born in 1743 in the Landgraviate of Hesse-Cassel, that he entered the army of the Landgrave, and attained an officer rank among the Jäger troops there. He and his troops were among those traded to the British to quell the budding rebellion in the Americas and their first deployment was under Generil Sir William Howe during the New York and New Jersey campaign.

    The Hessian forces performed well under the command of the British, the army routing Washington's forces in the Battle of Long Island, albeit Washington's troops managed to retreat in an orderly manner. With Howe's army in pursuit of the retreating Continental Forces, the Hessian troops proved their worth in battle again and again in a series of grueling retreating battles and skirmishes during which they cemented a reputation for utter ruthlessness and mercilessness, the Hessian Jäger Officer in command of the Jägers gaining a reputation for cutting off the heads of prisoners and collaborators, his dreaded alias quickly spreading far and wide among the locals, with people shuttering their doors and windows and Continental Soldiers clamouring for retreat when they heard the Hessian was coming.

    The spectre of the Hessian and his dreadful Jägers was seriously hurting Continental Army morale, greatly adding to the strain on Washington's command as they pursued the retreating forces through Manhattan and further north along the Hudson River. That was untill on one fateful day in November 1776, when the Hessian and his troop came to the aptly named sleepy little village of Sleepy Hollow. Reprisals followed, with the Hessian lining up the children and threatening their execution if he wasn't supplied with information concerning the time and direction of when Washington's forces passed through. Information that none were willing to give...for good reason.

    Before the Hessian could make his threats a reality, his head ceased to exist, his body remaining standing for a bit with the axe raised high before starting to stumble to the side, tripping and falling, twitching a few more times before finally lying deathly still. The villagers as well as the Jägers saw the form of a towering Continental Soldier, greater even than the tall Hessian had been, his fist bloodied. Then the Continental Ambush started in earnest, Minutemen from Sleepy Hollow as well as a small detachment of the Continental Army shooting up the surrounded Hessian Jägers which, albeit fighting valiantly, had had their spirits crushed by the sudden death of their leader. It was later surmised that a cannonball must have taken the Hessian's head for there was nothing one could imagine there that could have destroyed it otherwise.

    The Hessians were buried in the graveyard of the old dutch church...the Hessian however was dumped into the woods where the villagers hoped he would rot for good, a rotten man such as him undeserving of a proper burial. A decision they would come to regret.

    Having been denied a proper burial, having committed evil while walking the earth and being incomplete due to the completely vaporizing blow struck against him, the Hessian rose from his grave but a scant few years later and began to butcher people around Sleepy Hollow. travellers, regardless of allegiance would be found murdered on the streets, missing their heads. Tales of a ghostly horseman made the rounds and the death toll in New York started creeping higher with every day. It took the arrival of one Ichabod Crane from New York City in 1790, whose wits, coupled with the locals' Brom Bones' strength and bravado, managed to make a fool out of the Hessian, tricking him and imprisoning him in a vault below the old, dutch church. The holiness of the place would hopefully do well to keep the Hessian caged. Years later Crane would tell this story to one young Washington Irving in New York City, who would eventually publish an altered version of these events in his 1820 Sketchbook.

    In 1933 agents of the SS were sent to the US to secure the allegiance of a possible asset. Staying around in Sleepy Hollow for a while, the agents eventually got a hold of the Hessian's location and went about setting the undead free, using rituals and foul sorcery to taint the church and atleast partially break its hold over the Hessian in its basement. He still didn't care about any allegiances though, slaying the nazis in the process...though one of the nazis had something on him that made the Hessian...reconsider his stance on allegiances. He became an SS asset for the following years, assassinating a list of people in the New England area which was regularly sent to him and updated by the nazis. His mysterious murders made headlines and left many guessing as to who was behind them or what the motive for them was. But only the Hessian and the one who composed the list knew.

    After the war, the Hessian went deep undercover, giving things time to simmer down and think the murders had finally ceased. He didn't get any updates for his list anymore so that was also problematic as he couldn't track or inform himself too well about his intended targets. Much to his own luck and surprise, the nazis actually survived and the SSAfP eventually contacted him again during the Cold War, making him another one of their sleeper assets, ready for the attack on the USA. An attack which was crushed in its infancy and saw the nazis abandoning the US and the Hessian who still patiently waited in his basement.

    But not for long. He was contacted once more and he was told the truth about his list. The reason why these people had to die. Why these people were connected to him. Vengeance was promised to him and the Hessian was more than willing to accept it, lying in wait now and expecting his orders.

    Source of Power: Middle school trip to a natural history museum put her into contact with a rock that granted her powers.


    Powers :

    Ice constructs: Can turn what she touches, including air, into Ice constructs, including having properties beyond what ice is normally capable of, for example, she can turn the air around her into an Ice longbow, rifle, grenades etc. All of which turn the area of effect of a given weapon to ice.

    Portal Manipulation: Can create two connected portals of varying shapes with an "area" of up to 80 m^2 from one destination in sight to another, or up to 2 m^2 if 250 meters away if not in sight.

    Cryotemporalstasis: Every 10 minutes is able to speed up her perception of time fast enough that time appears to be close to stationary to her for 10 seconds in her perception, during this time she thinks and moves as she would in normal time. Includes a general ice sense that lets her detect hostile intent directed at her at a distance of 10 meters.

    Ma(i)de(n) of Ice: Is able to heal herself and others by converting ice into biological material. For others this is mostly healing cuts, bruises and gashes. For herself, her entire body, which passively heals entirely over the course of the day and can heal more quickly with focus. Can also make herself bigger and proportionally stronger/slower and vice versa. Additional ability to manipulate her biology that she can make use of with training.


    Abilities:

    Ball and Arrow: Her favorite activities before getting her powers were archery and basketball. Since then, no doubt aided by enhancements brought about by her powers, she has developed skills that make her elite in both sports. These abilities are not quite beyond human individually, but as a whole, contained within a woman of her size, very much so, making her an incredible athlete.

    Drama kid: Exceptionally good actor, capable of seemingly replacing her mannerisms, accent and personality at will, slowing and speeding up bodily functions to help

    Competent street fighter: Despite being a good student, she constantly got into fights in school, generally standing up to bullies, often on behalf of kids she didn't know. Also took on challengers. She isn't a well trained fighter and never used clear cut meta powers in fights, but she use her enhanced athleticism. Most of the time her getting hit were just attempts to avoid suspicion.

    Equipment:

    Ice Clothing: While she never depends completely completely on Ice to clothe herself, she often uses it to add variety and give herself additional armor. Notably, she can give them a variety of textures and colors, though will act like normal Ice when out of range of her powers.

    Weighted Gloves: She swears she hasn't punched anyone with them.

    Steel toed Boots: She swears she hasn't kicked anyone with them.

    Pepper Spray: She swears she hasn't sprayed anyone with it.


    Weaknesses:

    It's Ice: Any ice not immediately around her melts as ice does.

    Not (N)ice in here: Her powers are proportional to average humidity and temperature, the lower the humidity or higher the temperature, the weaker her powers.

    Don't Bruise me bro: Despite being decent in close combat, she really can't tolerate being hit. Every significant visible injury means a 30% chance she attempts to retreat until she heals, a 30% chance she focuses on blocking and asking mercy until she heals, a 35% chance she keeps fighting. There is a 5% chance she resolves to maim the person she's fighting, she will hold on to this until she succeeds at doing so, be it the current fight or a future fight.

    Legal Status: Natural Born US Citizen,

    Backstory:

    She was born to a very pacifist, very wealthy, very philanthropic family, to a Japanese father and Filipina mother in Manhattan. In order to raise their child with altruistic values and not having a sense of superiority due to her wealth and status, they chose to put her through the public schooling system, though it didn't stop her mother getting her extra tutoring when necessary. Aylin was very rebellious in her school years, even as she got good grades, she'd very frequently get into fights in school, often on behalf of other students, not particularly caring if they wanted her to or not. Before getting her powers she wanted to become an architect, afterward they wanted to become a superhero. A part time university at Cornell University, Her parents are exceedingly comfortable with her being at TIAMA, both because of a belief in letting her be what she wants her to be, but also because they hope it'll be a positive influence against a heterodox worldview she picked up in combination from her beloved grandfather on her dad's side, anime and books.

    Pavel is an 8 foot tall, 430 pound mass of body horror. There remains no part of him that is human anymore beyond that of his mind, just chitinous plating, and coils of inhuman muscle, and bones of unnatural composite.



Motivations
    Goals: Attain peace and happiness, for all mankind. Become free of the Soviet claw that kept him hidden away for 70 years.
    Fears: Failing to uphold the standards of 'One Man for all Mankind'.


Strengths and Weaknesses
    Source of Power: Extraterrestrial parasite surgically grafted into his brain stem.
    Powers :
      Biomechanical Horror: the parasite implanted into Pavel when he was 12 has resulted in a massive change to the usual human form. Pavel can no longer be considered human in anything but mind. Such massive changes include a level of strength close to 15 times that of a normal human, the capacity to breath water for up to 12 hours, resist bullets up to and including .30-06 Armor Piercing, turn invisible due to photoreactive cells composing the whole of his dermal system, very rapidly lower or heighten his body temperature, and the capacity to see IR, UV, and X-Rays.

    Abilities:
      Red Army Combat Training: Pavel is incredibly well versed in nearly every form of combat and weapon usage to come from the Eastern Bloc since 1954.
    Equipment: AK-103, Stetchkin APB
    Weaknesses: Fallible Trickery:Pavel can only remain invisible under circumstances that do not involve mass shifts in light. As such, examples like a fire, strobe light will cause his photoreactive cells to become 'confused', while visible lasers will fail to pass through him.
    Biological Armor: The thick dermal plating that covers his body, is in fact a part of him, as such they cannot be simply repaired, but must heal. As such, he can be taken down over prolonged fights.


Background:
    Job: GRU Operative/TIAMA Personnel Loan
    Legal Status: Russian Citizen
    Backstory: To most, being born in Stalingrad of December 1940 would have been a death sentence. But Pavel was lucky, Pavel only became an orphan, entrusted to the Soviet State, Pavel's early life was miserable, a time of being forgotten by the supposed people's state for a little over a decade. Then in 1952, he was whisked away by the MGB and delivered to some godforsaken lab in Siberia. He didn't get much of any explanation, except when he was shoved unceremoniously into a surgical theatre. He was still conscious when they cut open the back of his head and severed portions of his spinal cord, and implanted something. He felt nothing but pain for several days much to his horror, he started feeling a wiggling in his neck. Over a few more weeks, he started regaining a control of his limbs.

    The remaining decade of his teen years was spent adjusting to the abomination he was becoming, and being indoctrinated to follow Soviet propaganda. he would meet fellow orphans who had been subjected to the same treatment. Until eventually, after years of training and brain washing, pavel was sent to participate in the Vietnam War as a Soviet advisor.

    The remainder of his time under Soviet control would remain much the same, ranging from Afghanistan, Angola, and Eritrea, to Chechnya, Georgia, and Tajikistan. Locked away under the pretenses of Russian security for nearly 60 years, Pavel was only graciously allowed to do something of his own accord in 2012. When TIAMA EU was asking the various European states for field operatives, Pavel jumped at the chance. On loan from the Russian military, Pavel would spend 6 years in TIAMA EU, before transferring to the Middle East Division to assist with the ongoing crisis in Iraq, Turkey, and Syria. In late 2019, he was transferred to the North America East division at his own request. Now in North America, he sees himself as being able to throw off the Soviet Yolk.

    Telepathy: Mentalist is capable of both reading the surface thoughts of those within 5 meters of him and projecting his thoughts of the minds of others that he can sense. He can also create a psychic bond with others, allowing everyone connected with him to communicate telepathically as long as they remain within 100 meters of Ramon. With effort, he can delve deeper into another's mind to extract information, though this requires his undivided attention, significant effort, and skin to skin contact on his part, and a strong enough will could prevent him from learning more. If he attempts to force it, he can do lasting damage to both himself and the subject. He is also unable to read the thoughts of synthetic constructs.

    Telekinesis: Mentalist is capable of using his mental will to control the movement of objects with his mind within 100 meters. His maximum weight limit is one ton, with heavier weights requiring more concentration and causing the object to move much slower. He is capable of accelerating a pebble or bullet-sized object to mach 1.5. He is capable of stopping projectiles with a telekinetic shield, though prolonged or intensive use can cause stroke or aneurysm, all of this assisted by an implant jacked into the base of his skull that makes his telekinesis stronger and also regulates his powers.

    Mental Expansion: Mentalist's brain never stopped developing functional neural connections at the same rate as an infant and toddler, meaning that his rate of learning is equivalent to the highest point of neural development in the human lifespan. This mutation has given him both extraordinary abilities and extraordinary mental capacity, making him one of the smartest people on the planet. The Stanford-Binet Intelligence Test that he took put him somewhere in the 275 range, though that was when he was 12, and his intelligence has shown no signs of slowing down through his life.

    Abilities:

    Engineer: Ramon is a capable engineer who designed both his own armor and the cerebral implant that regulates and enhances his mental abilities and allows him to move. Given time and space to work, he is capable of reverse-engineering almost any technology he comes into contact with within a few hours, unless that technology is totally alien in function and design.

    Geneticist: Ramon's true passion and skill lies in Genetics, and the manipulation of the genome of various species, though his most prolific work is in the manipulation of the human genome. He has won the Gruber Prize in Genetics five times, and his company of Callisto Inc is on the cutting edge of genetics technology.

    Polymath: Besides his two main fields of study, Ramon has delved into many different fields of learning, from physics to entymology, whenever the fancy strikes him. Due to the nature of his mental abilities, it is extremely easy for him to learn and retain new information.

    Eidetic Memory: Ramon can remember, with almost perfect clarity, anything he sees or reads.

    Equipment:

    AEGIS Personal Mobility System: The armor system invented and patented by Dr. Ramon Salazar himself, Mentalist is almost never seen outside of this armor unless it is for medical reasons. The outer plates are comprised of ablative armor plates over a combined kevlar/carbon nanotube undersuit, which was lined with a kinetic-reactive gel layer that hardens upon impact. The suit is powered by a hydraulic system that enables Mentalist to lift up to 365 kilograms and run up to 40 K/ph. This suit is capable of enduring both small arms fire and directed energy weaponry while providing adequate protection for the wearer from both the kinetic impacts and heat from energy weapons. It also eliminates his bodily waste through evaporation and incineration. The suit is powered by a fissile nuclear reactor, based on a design from the Epoch corporation and converted for use in the suit.

    The Jack: The Jack is linked to both the AEGIS armor system and Mentalist's psychic abilities, allowing the hero to control the armor with synaptic commands, preventing the hydraulic system from damaging his body, and enhancing his psychic abilities to increase both their range and power. This implant consists of thousands of nano-fibres that are woven into the very fabric of Mentalist's synapses, increasing their rate of fire and speed of connection, as well as regulating the activity to lessen the strain on his biological systems. If this implant were to be damaged, it would cause significant injury to Ramon and quite possibly death. At the very least, his mental capacity would be significantly reduced.

    Weaknesses:

    Quadriplegic: Due to the nature of his mutation, an excess of brain tissue and nervous tissue built up and caused Ramon to be paralyzed from the neck down, discounting his torso. He could breathe, talk, move, think, and laugh, but he was unable to move until he developed The Jack and the first iteration of the AEGIS suit. Without the suit, Ramon cannot move except by telekinesis, and if The Jack is damaged, he could be rendered permanently brain dead.

    Backstory:

    Ramon Salazar was born with what doctors thought, at first, was a curse. An excess of neural tissue, utterly inoperable, that rendered the infant paralyzed in his arms and legs. His parents decided that they would love him through the disability and brought him home, where it was quickly discovered that Ramon was a little different than your standard infant. Despite his inability to move, the infant even then showed a remarkable capacity to learn and an attentiveness when his parents spoke that they thought was simply a baby being fascinated by sounds, until he said "Food" at the age of 8 months to request a feeding.

    That kind of mental development continued throughout his childhood, and it quickly became clear that when it came to mental acumen, Ramon was leaps and bounds beyond even the adults in his life by the age of eight. IQ tests revealed impossible results, registering his intelligence as being beyond anything previously recorded. At the age of 12 he registered a patent for both The Jack and the AEGIS Personal Mobility System, as well as submitting the medical procedure that would have to be done in order to grant him the mobility he sought. This showing of his engineering and medical acumen garnered him invitations to attend several universities tuition free, including his ultimate choice, Harvard Medical School. At the age of 18 he had garnered a full MD, and decided to continue his schooling for another 6 years to achieve several other degrees, including a PhD in genetics.

    At 24 he decided to start his own company, Callisto Inc, and quickly became the name in genetics research worldwide, showing therapies and technologies several decades beyond anything else that had ever been shown. It wasn't until three years later, after the Times Square incident revealed the existence of extranormal abilities, that he revealed the full extent of his mental abilities to the public. Not only was he the smartest person in the room, he could also read the thoughts of those around him and move things with his mind thanks to both his incredible mental ability and the technology he had invented to enhance those abilities.

    Mentalist was registered as a hero, and Dr. Salazar has spent the last 15 years as both a public hero and the CEO of a cutting-edge genetics research company, with branches in everything from engineering to physics research. He seeks to perfect the human genome through the introduction of special abilities with genetic therapy, elevating Homo Sapiens Sapiens onto a new evolutionary milestone, though this is not public, and he puts on the persona of an affable, eccentric man who spends more of his time in a lab than around people.

    Cryotemporalstasis: Every 10 minutes is able to speed up her perception of time fast enough that time appears to be close to stationary to her for 10 seconds in her perception, during this time she thinks and moves as she would in normal time. Includes a general ice sense that lets her detect hostile intent directed at her at a distance of 10 meters.

    Ma(i)de(n) of Ice: Is able to heal herself and others by converting ice into biological material. For others this is mostly healing cuts, bruises and gashes. For herself, her entire body, which passively heals entirely over the course of the day and can heal more quickly with focus. Can also make herself bigger and proportionally stronger/slower and vice versa. Additional ability to manipulate her biology that she can make use of with training.


    Abilities:

    Ball and Arrow: Her favorite activities before getting her powers were archery and basketball. Since then, no doubt aided by enhancements brought about by her powers, she has developed skills that make her elite in both sports. These abilities are not quite beyond human individually, but as a whole, contained within a woman of her size, very much so, making her an incredible athlete.

    Drama kid: Exceptionally good actor, capable of seemingly replacing her mannerisms, accent and personality at will, slowing and speeding up bodily functions to help

    Competent street fighter: Despite being a good student, she constantly got into fights in school, generally standing up to bullies, often on behalf of kids she didn't know. Also took on challengers. She isn't a well trained fighter and never used clear cut meta powers in fights, but she use her enhanced athleticism. Most of the time her getting hit were just attempts to avoid suspicion.

    Equipment:

    Ice Clothing: While she never depends completely completely on Ice to clothe herself, she often uses it to add variety and give herself additional armor. Notably, she can give them a variety of textures and colors, though will act like normal Ice when out of range of her powers.

    Weighted Gloves: She swears she hasn't punched anyone with them.

    Steel toed Boots: She swears she hasn't kicked anyone with them.

    Pepper Spray: She swears she hasn't sprayed anyone with it.

Every significant visible injury means a 30% chance she attempts to retreat until she heals, a 30% chance she focuses on blocking and asking mercy until she heals, a 35% chance she keeps fighting. There is a 5% chance she resolves to maim the person she's fighting, she will hold on to this until she succeeds at doing so, be it the current fight or a future fight.

    Backstory:

    She was born to a very pacifist, very wealthy, very philanthropic family, to a Japanese father and Filipina mother in Manhattan. In order to raise their child with altruistic values and not having a sense of superiority due to her wealth and status, they chose to put her through the public schooling system, though it didn't stop her mother getting her extra tutoring when necessary. Aylin was very rebellious in her school years, even as she got good grades, she'd very frequently get into fights in school, often on behalf of other students, not particularly caring if they wanted her to or not. Before getting her powers she wanted to become an architect, afterward they wanted to become a superhero. A part time university at Cornell University, Her parents are exceedingly comfortable with her being at TIAMA, both because of a belief in letting her be what she wants her to be, but also because they hope it'll be a positive influence against a heterodox worldview she picked up in combination from her beloved grandfather on her dad's side, anime and books.

    Powers :
    • Parasitization: Any biological being in contact with Auden's true form, the magical orb, can be 'dominated' by their magic. Soul, mind, and body magic are used in this process.
      • Speed and success rate depends on the mental fortitude of the target, with the average human lasting 30-60 seconds. If successful, the parasitized host will merge with the orb until only ~15% remains visible at the chest or stomach. 24 hours within a parasitized body will render it brain dead, with Auden's own mind completely taking over and absorbing the host's memories.
      • Parasitized hosts can be further manipulated by Auden's magic, allowing for sensory enhancement or removal (i.e. pain immunity, improved eyesight, muscle enhancement), harmful body weaponization (self-destructing, limit removal, mana cannibalization), and so on. While a normal mage would hesitate to brutalize their own body, Auden has no such limit, and can sacrifice flesh for boosts in magic.
      • Auden's mind is ingrained into the orb, retaining perfect memory of the hundreds of lives they've lived and the memories they've taken.
    • Forbidden Arts: Auden is knowledgeable in most forms of magic, from pryomancy to illusions, but chooses to specialize almost entirely in soul, mind, and body magic. Their skillset has adapted to suit their containment within the orb. Auden requires direct contact, host or not, to use their specialty magic. In emergencies, Auden can cannibalize their host body to empower magic attacks, sacrificing an arm or leg to launch massive fireballs and such, or to boost their specialty magic as a last ditch effort. Auden can also use their soul, mind, and body magic to accurately sense beings within 50m (164ft).
    Abilities:
    • Beserker: Auden's main style of fighting involves being up close and personal, often significantly wounding their current host in an effort to neutralize the enemy at all costs. While their host is still fresh and not yet brain dead, Auden will often use this factor to their advantage, holding their own host body captive against those aware of their body-stealing powers.
    • Experienced: Auden, being over a thousand years old, has undoubtedly more experience than most. Auden has lived numerous lives from all aspects of life, spending decades in the shoes of others, and has come out humbled and better for it. They are skilled in all walks of life, with masterful skill in many weapons, fluency in a dozen languages, and so on. Unfortunately, they've grown rather prideful of this and struggle to value other lives. Even so, they try and live each life to its fullest.

      Equipment:
      • Auden possesses a large fortune amassed over their long life, roughly equating to 400 million USD. This fortune is inherited by their, usually adopted, child which Auden parasitizes when their previous body expires, forcing the magical orb onto their descendant under the guise of a family heirloom. In dangerous times, Auden would prepare multiple spare bodies across their properties.
      • The magical orb that contains their ancient soul.
      Weaknesses:
      • Auden's body, the magical orb, can be broken quite easily. It's magical defenses are mostly for preservation and anti-tamper. If damaged while inside a host, it will repair itself over the course of a week, temporarily leaving Auden mortal. If this happens, they'll likely desperately try and escape capture or harm by any means possible.
      • Auden's soul and mind magic, while very powerful, is not instantaneous and can be easily countered by simply not touching the orb for too long or wearing thick clothing. However, this does not apply once Auden has a physical body.
      • Auden requires direct physical contact to use their specialty magic (soul, mind, body). They also require a host body to cast any spells outside their specialty magic.


    Background:
      Job: Investor, philanthropist, villain (TIAMA knows they exist and are able to body-swap, but don't how exactly or their main identity as a millionaire).
      Legal Status: US Citizen, millionaire.
      Backstory: Born in the 9th century, Amarta was raised in a cult of mages residing in a small European village. Only a select few powerful figures even knew of the cult's existence. Leo VI, Byzantine emperor of the time, sent a large force to subjugate the village in order to force them into allegiance. In return for a method of immortality, their village would be spared, and the people handsomely rewarded. Auden, now mostly known as Amarta, was a veritable genius in the mystic arts pioneering several advancements in extending human life. With the entire village behind them, and support from the Byzantine emperor, Amarta became the de-facto figurehead of the cult. The very best among them. Their life's work resulted in the creation of a prototype soul orb, a magical artifact that could, in theory, indefinitely sustain any single soul stored within.

      New Byzantine emperors came and went, with Constantine VII Flavius Porphyrogenitus being the latest at Auden's success. He was not pleased with this method of immortality, refuting that, while it would indeed work, he would not cast away his humanity in such a manner. For their failure at not producing a 'viable' method, the emperor ordered for the cult's execution to prevent others from stealing this method. Amarta immediately abandoned their village, fleeing with the orb into hiding. It wasn't until their first death did they store their soul within the orb, from which they'd lay dormant for two-hundred years buried beside their own corpse. An unfortunate grave-robber would be Amarta's first victim, whenever one body grew too old, they'd simply swap it for another one. Sometimes they'd grow attached to certain hosts and augment it to live for decades at a time. Being an unparalleled mage no longer limited by flesh allowed Amarta to perfectly recall every memory they made and stole.

      Amarta has seen nations rise and fall, has traveled the world several times over, and now calls the US their home. Centuries of adventure has resulted in an enviable fortune and influence to match, amassed by consolidating their wealth via possessing their inheritors several times over and bribing others with increased lifespans. Amarta has large stakes in many companies, and often plays a hand manipulating things to go their way, often funding criminal organizations or joining them in-person. Their only goal now is to find or create the ultimate host body, one that can indefinitely sustain them and handle anything the world could throw their way. With the recent surge of superpower individuals in the last hundred years, they might find one sooner than they think.

    Abilities:
    Equipment: While they have a great store of artifacts and other things at home, for now only one of these matters, even if she does not carry it with her. That being the Book of Souls, an ancient tome filled to the brim with necromantic knowledge and power.

    • She's a magical Vampire and comes with all affiliated powers and weaknesses.

        Job: None
        Legal Status: Not a wanted criminal per se but she is certainly on the morally utterly bankrupt side of things and has ordered and done things that go against the law and human morals. Alas, few were ever traced back to her.
        Backstory:
        Hmm. Ah nice background. Let`s get to this right from the start then. She was born as the third child to Wenzel I. of Bohemia in the year 1237. Back then she was happy because her father loved her very very much. But this was also her downfall as her elder brother, Ottokar II. Premysl envied her and believed that his father would give the throne to her. He had already killed the eldest child, his brother Vladislav to get the throne and he didn`t want to see all his hard work go up in smoke. And so he murdered her in 1247 and started his revolution right after. His father however managed to retrieve Antonia`s dying body and and together with his wife he sought out a satanic cult. His wife, Kunigunde of Swabia, sacrificed herself in order to complete a ritual, a bargain with a foul being, a dark deity, to return life to the body of their daughter.

        However, it was not really his child that he got back. The ritual had transformed Antonia into a bloodthirsty creature with immense powers. Loving father that he was he fed her with criminals and whatever she desired whenever she desired it, not realizing that he made her more powerful with every drop of blood she took. Antonia herself was disgusted by what she had become but her urges were just too strong for her. And ever since the ritual her heart seemed to be made of stone as she knew no compassion or mercy anymore. Only when her father died she cried a single tear of blood. After that she simply vanished. She seemed to have lived a long life in Prague, feeding on the human population and growing her power and influence.

        But that couldn't continue forever, And it didn't. 1939, the year when the Nazis took Czechoslovakia. Nobody today knows how, but it seemed that the SS Paranormal Division, the SSAfP had managed to capture her, using some kind of trick. Probably one out of the arsenal of the Old Teutonic Order which had been hunting down Witches, Magicians, Vampires and all other monsters and creatures for centuries. During the war she was first held in a secret facility of the SSAfP in Brno on Reinhardt Heydrich's order, where they ran countless grueling experiments on her, fully using the opportunity they had on hand with her. She was then later transferred to Treblinka in May 1942, being quite literally built into the camp itself, so secure was her prison. And there they continued conducting their experiments, this time on a much grander scale and with a much different purpose, experiments that the Scarlet Baroness would never forgive the Nazis for. She was quite literally force fed the blood and souls of the people perishing in the camps of Treblinka...untill the Nazis had to close the camp as her powers were growing too strong and the countless dead buried around the camp continued to rise again and again. The Nazis were forced to stop, cremate the dead and move her elsewhere where she couldn't find puppets to manipulate for her escape. She was then instead transferred to Ausschwitz-Birkenau in August 1943, where the usual, cruel force feeding and many years and months of torment under the merciless eyes of one Dr. Josef Mengele, a man called the Angel of Death, continued.

        The Scarlet Baroness managed to make her escape in mid December of 1944, escaping heavily wounded and with little more than some rags on her body in the SS general deconstruction of the extermination camp. Spending some time to recuperate and heal her injuries with blood magic, the Baroness then continued westwards, making her way back to Bohemia and then from there starting her own, personal war on the Nazis, striking what facilities she knew off, aiding local resistance and getting into contact with the Allied Forces in order to see her one and only burning desire to completion. The elimination of the SS Paranormal Division that had caused her so much woe and the destruction of their plans. She was instrumental in stopping the execution of Hitler's final order, the Nero order, aiding Allied Commandos in the battle for the Kyffhäuser Mountain in mid April 1945 which ended with the decapitation of the SS Paranormal Division and the stopping of their plans.

        Her lust for vengeance nearly satisfied, the Scarlet Baroness returned to Prague from where she followed the proceedings concerning the Nazi War Criminals with great interest as she intended to get the SSAfP's head, Standartenführer Haegler, after the trials and torment him in return for all the torment he had caused her during the war. With his execution at Nuremberg, she intended to gather his body and torment his soul for all eternity yet her helpers found that they came too late. Nazi loyalists had already stolen the body, causing the Scarlet Baroness much outrage and a manhunt across Europe for a body she could not find, causing her to not notice the Stalinist noose tightening around her.

        During the Stalinist purges in Czechoslovakia which started in 1948, the Scarlet Baroness once again escaped barely with her life, fleeing to Liechteinstein instead where she would set up her new base of operations. Having been robbed of much of her influence, wealth, power and her collection twice within such very short time, the Scarlet Baroness decided that perhaps she had meddled too much in the world of the mortals. That perhaps she should go undercover once again and wait out a new age.

        And so she waited, remained still during the cold war and when the Iron Curtain fell and the Warsaw Pact broke apart, when the haunting specter of communism left her lands, she once again returned to Prague, nestling once again deep below the Prague Castle, reclaiming her hideout and her collection and quickly going about following some rumours and news which had come to her ears during the Cold War but she had decided not to follow any further out of fear of exposing herself once more and then getting hunted by KGB or CIA. However, now, with the world growing more peaceful, she saw the opportunity to finally carefully begin inserting herself into society again, little by little, through thralls and familiars and agents. She followed rumours about the re-emergence of the Nazis, about their networks and the like. About OdeSSA, HIAG, the Last Battalion and so many other names and organisations which were rumoured to exist or to have nefarious purposes. She wondered...could she still get a hold of that bastard Haegler and give him what he deserved?

        Decades later and many rumours and facts later, she finally had a lead in 2017. Standartenführer Haegler was alive...and he was in the US, preparing whatever new nefarious scheme he had cooked up.       Despite his lack of a head, the Hessian can very much see. In a 50 meter radius around him, the Hessian can see as we humans do, though there are no colours and structures appear washed out and lifeless. He can feel the warmth of life, he craves it, envies it and is drawn to it like a moth to the flame so unless magical precautions have been taken or life is fleeting, he will find his prey within this radius.

      The Hessian can summon and unsummon a hellish steed to his side which loyally carries him wherever he needs to go. It is a great, nightmarish black horse, hellfire burning in its eyesockets. It's intelligence and malice seems to go beyond that of normal horses and its body appears to be just as like the Hessians, unfettered by the shackles of mortality, riding however long is required of it and shrugging off grievous wounds like they are nothing.

      Every Night between 0:00 AM and 1:00 AM GMT-4, the Hessian's powers are boosted far beyond what they are normally at. His strength increases to a lifting strength of 10 t, his body regenerates from injuries and puts itself back together on the spot, rather than disappearing to his resting place, his sight is increased to a 100 m radius and his speed and reaction time finds itself more than twice as fast as that of a regular human.

However, most damning of all is, that a person of true and honest faith, can put the Hessian to rest, by reciting a prayer for the dead, which will change the Hessian's clothes to pure white and let the troubled spirit pass on into the afterlife.

      In a 50 meter radius around the Hessian the temperature rapidly cools down, getting downright chilly, regardless of heaters or clothes. It does not cause more than some discomfort to those within this radius and as such is primarily a weakness as it betrays the Hessian's presence.

With Howe's army in pursuit of the retreating Continental Forces, the Hessian troops proved their worth in battle again and again in a series of grueling retreating battles and skirmishes during which they cemented a reputation for utter ruthlessness and mercilessness, the Hessian Jäger Officer in command of the Jägers gaining a reputation for cutting off the heads of prisoners and collaborators, his dreaded alias quickly spreading far and wide among the locals, with people shuttering their doors and windows and Continental Soldiers clamouring for retreat when they heard the Hessian was coming.

    The spectre of the Hessian and his dreadful Jägers was seriously hurting Continental Army morale, greatly adding to the strain on Washington's command as they pursued the retreating forces through Manhattan and further north along the Hudson River. That was untill on one fateful day in November 1776, when the Hessian and his troop came to the aptly named sleepy little village of Sleepy Hollow. Reprisals followed, with the Hessian lining up the children and threatening their execution if he wasn't supplied with information concerning the time and direction of when Washington's forces passed through. Information that none were willing to give...for good reason.

    Before the Hessian could make his threats a reality, his head ceased to exist, his body remaining standing for a bit with the axe raised high before starting to stumble to the side, tripping and falling, twitching a few more times before finally lying deathly still. The villagers as well as the Jägers saw the form of a towering Continental Soldier, greater even than the tall Hessian had been, his fist bloodied.     The Hessians were buried in the graveyard of the old dutch church...the Hessian however was dumped into the woods where the villagers hoped he would rot for good, a rotten man such as him undeserving of a proper burial. A decision they would come to regret.

Years later Crane would tell this story to one young Washington Irving in New York City, who would eventually publish an altered version of these events in his 1820 Sketchbook.

    After the war, the Hessian went deep undercover, giving things time to simmer down and think the murders had finally ceased. He didn't get any updates for his list anymore so that was also problematic as he couldn't track or inform himself too well about his intended targets. Much to his own luck and surprise, the nazis actually survived and the SSAfP eventually contacted him again during the Cold War, making him another one of their sleeper assets, ready for the attack on the USA. An attack which was crushed in its infancy and saw the nazis abandoning the US and the Hessian who still patiently waited in his basement.

    But not for long. He was contacted once more and he was told the truth about his list. The reason why these people had to die. Why these people were connected to him. Vengeance was promised to him and the Hessian was more than willing to accept it, lying in wait now and expecting his orders.

        Backstory:
        Hmm. Ah nice background. Let`s get to this right from the start then. She was born as the third child to Wenzel I. of Bohemia in the year 1237. Back then she was happy because her father loved her very very much. But this was also her downfall as her elder brother, Ottokar II. Premysl envied her and believed that his father would give the throne to her. He had already killed the eldest child, his brother Vladislav to get the throne and he didn`t want to see all his hard work go up in smoke. And so he murdered her in 1247 and started his revolution right after. His father however managed to retrieve Antonia`s dying body and and together with his wife he sought out a satanic cult. His wife, Kunigunde of Swabia, sacrificed herself in order to complete a ritual, a bargain with a foul being, a dark deity, to return life to the body of their daughter.

        However, it was not really his child that he got back. The ritual had transformed Antonia into a bloodthirsty creature with immense powers. Loving father that he was he fed her with criminals and whatever she desired whenever she desired it, not realizing that he made her more powerful with every drop of blood she took. Antonia herself was disgusted by what she had become but her urges were just too strong for her. And ever since the ritual her heart seemed to be made of stone as she knew no compassion or mercy anymore. Only when her father died she cried a single tear of blood. After that she simply vanished. She seemed to have lived a long life in Prague, feeding on the human population and growing her power and influence.

        But that couldn't continue forever, And it didn't. 1939, the year when the Nazis took Czechoslovakia. Nobody today knows how, but it seemed that the SS Paranormal Division, the SSAfP had managed to capture her, using some kind of trick. Probably one out of the arsenal of the Old Teutonic Order which had been hunting down Witches, Magicians, Vampires and all other monsters and creatures for centuries. During the war she was first held in a secret facility of the SSAfP in Brno on Reinhardt Heydrich's order, where they ran countless grueling experiments on her, fully using the opportunity they had on hand with her. She was then later transferred to Treblinka in May 1942, being quite literally built into the camp itself, so secure was her prison. And there they continued conducting their experiments, this time on a much grander scale and with a much different purpose, experiments that the Scarlet Baroness would never forgive the Nazis for. She was quite literally force fed the blood and souls of the people perishing in the camps of Treblinka...untill the Nazis had to close the camp as her powers were growing too strong and the countless dead buried around the camp continued to rise again and again. The Nazis were forced to stop, cremate the dead and move her elsewhere where she couldn't find puppets to manipulate for her escape. She was then instead transferred to Ausschwitz-Birkenau in August 1943, where the usual, cruel force feeding and many years and months of torment under the merciless eyes of one Dr. Josef Mengele, a man called the Angel of Death, continued.

        The Scarlet Baroness managed to make her escape in mid December of 1944, escaping heavily wounded and with little more than some rags on her body in the SS general deconstruction of the extermination camp. Spending some time to recuperate and heal her injuries with blood magic, the Baroness then continued westwards, making her way back to Bohemia and then from there starting her own, personal war on the Nazis, striking what facilities she knew off, aiding local resistance and getting into contact with the Allied Forces in order to see her one and only burning desire to completion. The elimination of the SS Paranormal Division that had caused her so much woe and the destruction of their plans. She was instrumental in stopping the execution of Hitler's final order, the Nero order, aiding Allied Commandos in the battle for the Kyffhäuser Mountain in mid April 1945 which ended with the decapitation of the SS Paranormal Division and the stopping of their plans.

        Her lust for vengeance nearly satisfied, the Scarlet Baroness returned to Prague from where she followed the proceedings concerning the Nazi War Criminals with great interest as she intended to get the SSAfP's head, Standartenführer Haegler, after the trials and torment him in return for all the torment he had caused her during the war. With his execution at Nuremberg, she intended to gather his body and torment his soul for all eternity yet her helpers found that they came too late. Nazi loyalists had already stolen the body, causing the Scarlet Baroness much outrage and a manhunt across Europe for a body she could not find, causing her to not notice the Stalinist noose tightening around her.

        During the Stalinist purges in Czechoslovakia which started in 1948, the Scarlet Baroness once again escaped barely with her life, fleeing to Liechteinstein instead where she would set up her new base of operations. Having been robbed of much of her influence, wealth, power and her collection twice within such very short time, the Scarlet Baroness decided that perhaps she had meddled too much in the world of the mortals. That perhaps she should go undercover once again and wait out a new age.

        And so she waited, remained still during the cold war and when the Iron Curtain fell and the Warsaw Pact broke apart, when the haunting specter of communism left her lands, she once again returned to Prague, nestling once again deep below the Prague Castle, reclaiming her hideout and her collection and quickly going about following some rumours and news which had come to her ears during the Cold War but she had decided not to follow any further out of fear of exposing herself once more and then getting hunted by KGB or CIA. However, now, with the world growing more peaceful, she saw the opportunity to finally carefully begin inserting herself into society again, little by little, through thralls and familiars and agents. She followed rumours about the re-emergence of the Nazis, about their networks and the like. About OdeSSA, HIAG, the Last Battalion and so many other names and organisations which were rumoured to exist or to have nefarious purposes. She wondered...could she still get a hold of that bastard Haegler and give him what he deserved?

        Decades later and many rumours and facts later, she finally had a lead in 2017. Standartenführer Haegler was alive...and he was in the US, preparing whatever new nefarious scheme he had cooked up. Motivations
    Goals: To reduce the amount of pollution and environmental damage humanity is doing to the planet, with the ultimate goal of finding technologies with zero environmental footprints to replace current, unsustainable tech. Her methodology in doing so is to embark on a campaign of terror to encourage the public to turn against the damaging practices of private companies and governments, as well as scare/encourage the aforementioned companies and governments into beginning research into alternative, sustainable, technologies. She also seeks to expand her basically-fictitious organization, the Global Liberation Army of Earth (GLAE). If she fails in this regard, there's no telling what sort of measures she may resort to in order to preserve Earth's future.
    Fears: She fears the end of Earth and the complete environmental collapse of the planet, indirectly fearing the destruction of humanity as one knows it. Death as a direct concept is not something that concerns Toxin, who only worries that death will mean the end of her crusade. Instead, she worries that if or when she dies, there will be no one to pick up the proverbial falling torch.


Strengths and Weaknesses
    Source of Power: Toxin's source of power is derived primarily from her exposure to experimental genetic re-sequencing materiel. However, her experience as a skilled and trained chemist also supplement this.
    Powers :
    • Gaea's Gift: Toxin can control, in a localized area around her person [500 meter], any number of plants to a reasonable limit. The larger the plant, the fewer she can control. For example, she can bend to her will three trees, but ten large bushes, etc. With this she can manipulate their stems, trunks, branches, etc., and even force them to work together as one single unit. This requires her ongoing and continued concentration, and if interrupted, can and will end her control over the plants.
    • Gaea's Curse: Toxin's skin, pores, mouth, and nose excrete a poisonous spore that follows her around as Toxin. In interior spaces, especially if it's cramped, the spores can quickly infest the entire area, making it nearly impossible to breathe. Similarly, her skin is venomous and coated in a substance that envenoms a victim if touched - the longer the contact, the worse the effects. The spores cause respiratory issues, including shortness of breath and exhaustion; prolonged exposure can lead to temporary paralysis and ultimately death via asphyxiation. Her venomous touch causes a drain-like effect on the victim, who feels weakened and tired, though they remain in extreme pain, with the area affected feeling as if it was on fire. Necrosis is localized on the area, but like necrosis from other sources it can spread if not treated. She is, obviously, immune to the spores that she emits.
    • Spring Undying: Toxin has a unique cellular make-up as a result of her exposure to the gene-modifying experiments. She has a much higher count of precursor cells in her body, which allow her to heal much faster than a normal human, and even stunt her aging process. It's as of yet not clear whether or not the stunt in aging is purely aesthetic or if it is indeed slowing the entire aging process. Her healing factor isn't miraculous, but losing a limb is no longer a death sentence. It may put her out of commission for months, but things will regrow.
    Abilities:
    • Skilled Chemist: Clarcke has a doctorate in organic chemistry, and has been practicing the science since the beginning of her undergraduate degree. During most of her educational tenure, she was well-known as a bright student, quick learner, and eager chemist, much to the pleasure of her professors and chagrin of her classmates. Since the earning of her doctorate, however, she has turned her experience with chemicals towards a darker path - the creation and use of chemical weapons, ranging from primitive but well-refined chlorine gas mixtures and homemade tear gas to homebrew-quality Cyclosarin gas. Alongside her more "natural" powers, she employs her chemist's talent to supplement and augment both her effectiveness and reputation.
    • Environmental Activist: Due to her time and ongoing part-time occupation as an environmental activist, Clarcke has significant organizational experience in preparing and executing strikes and protests, as well as a fair bit of experience with public speaking. She also has a fair bit of experience "spinning" things to seem much worse or better than they actually are, and making either herself or organizations that she's representing sound a lot more attractive.
    • Double Life: Rowan, and by extension, Toxin, live a double-life. Rowan has become well-versed in not only managing her time as an activist and time as Toxin, but also become a skilled liar who is able to not only keep and maintain her cover personality on a regular basis, but is also good at distancing herself from the radical actions that Toxin undertakes.
    Equipment:
    • A well-equipped lab in Northern Idaho on a property that's under her father's name. This lab, formerly a part of her childhood home, is extremely cutting-edge in terms of rural Idaho, and possesses the ability to synthesize any sort of chemical, from rudimentary fusions to the advanced manufacture of nerve agents such as cyclosarin, VX, and most worryingly, if necessary, Novichok-esque agents.
    • A number of less-than-legal firearms inherited from her father. This includes a Mossberg 590A 'Shockwave' shotgun, a Colt M1911 pistol chambered for .45 ACP, and an AR-15 that's comprised of a number of different parts and illegally modified to be fully automatic. She also inherited an ArmaLite AR-10 chambered in .308.
    Weaknesses:
    • Fire is the largest and most obvious one. Since all of Toxin's powers are based off of plant material and its by-products anything that can burn it away and prevent it from growing, expanding, or healing itself seriously damages Toxin's ability to fight. Armoured heroes and "hard targets", or those equipped to deal with her atmospheric alterations would also pose a serious threat to her.
    • She also requires a unique chlorophyll cocktail to drink to maintain her normal identity. If she does not regularly and continually drink these, she will begin exhibiting the symptoms of Toxin.
    • She also feels the pain of all of the plants that she is currently controlling. If a tree branch immobilizing an enemy is cut off, Toxin witnesses the trauma of the tree losing that branch and the subsequent pain and anguish.


Background:
    Job: She's an associate of Greenpeace, but lives almost completely off the grid. Property deeds in her name are all legal. Most of her money is earned through her criminal activities, including contract jobs for "wetwork".
    Legal Status: Rowan is a legal citizen of the United States with no official criminal record, though is known by the government to be involved with organizations like Greenpeace.
    Backstory: Rowan Morgan Clarcke was born to David Jacob Clarcke and Hannah Clarcke-Hess in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, where the couple was staying immediately prior to Rowan's birth. The pair and their child shortly after relocated back to their property, an estate of some disrepair, where Rowan would grow up. Clarcke and his wife were both affiliates of the racist neo-nazi Aryan Nations, and for her entire childhood Rowan was raised and educated within an atmosphere of isolation and intolerance. Despite this, however, Rowan quickly proved herself to be a bright child, and as she grew older came to resent the AN and Christian Identity movements, which caused a great rift between her and her parents. Eventually, against the wishes of her parents, she began attending high school in Coeur D'Alene where she received extraordinarily high grades, especially in the sciences. When she accepted a scholarship to the California Institute of Technology for an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, she became permanently estranged from her parents.

    While her scholarship was relatively generous, living costs during her time in college continued to mount. At the same time, Rowan became exposed to a number of radical environmentalist movements. With her childhood spent in the vast wilderness of Northern Idaho, rather than get a job to help support herself, she joined the radical environmentalist group, the Earth Liberation Force. While her participation was voluntary, they helped Rowan, who at this time was going by her initials R.M.C, with food and a place to stay. She finished her undergraduate degree a year early and on the honour's list despite suspicion with her involvement in the ELF. After this she remained at CIT not only to continue to participate in ELF activities, but to pursue her master's, and then doctorate, in biochemistry and organic chemistry. While furthering her education, she was introduced to the ideologies of Ted Kaczynski. Reading greatly into both his beliefs and methodology, she became inspired by what she called "Ted's brevity".

    When she was 26, she accompanied two other members of the ELF on a mission to break in and sabotage the activities of a California-based GMO company that was reportedly experimenting on gene splicing with rats and apes. Shortly after the break-in, the mission went awry when the trio got in a brief shootout with security on site, and Rowan was exposed during this time to an experimental gas that was meant to re-sequence plant genes. Blacking out while fleeing the scene, she would awake to find that her two companions had abandoned her, too afraid to bring her to a hospital. Stumbling back to her apartment, she decided that the ELF was no good for her, and instead opted to split off from them. During the subsequent weeks, as her powers began to manifest, she began to view the ELF as not radical enough or grand enough in their scope.

    Returning home to Northern Idaho to her parent's place, she discovered that her father was dying of cancer. Earning back her favour with the pair by pretending to once more embrace their Christian Identity ideology, she set up a small chemistry lab on their estate and hiding her powers from them and the world at large through the use of a number of chlorophyll cocktails. Under the guise of taking care of her father, she managed to lull her parents into a false sense of security. Gradually collecting all of the information she needed to virtually assume their identities, she sedated both of them, and began utilizing their resources and money for her own purposes, expanding on her laboratory and transforming the property into an ecologically self-sufficient area, powered by wind and solar power.

    Over the years, Toxin began organizing the so-called "Global Liberation Army of Earth", a so-called organization that was organized and run by herself - with only one member. In reality, the GLAE was simply a front - an organization that was constructed to help hide Toxin's identity and act as the shadow to her campaign: a larger reflection of her goals, scaring her opponents, but otherwise being a fiction. The GLAE would go on to claim a number of terror attacks over the years, varying in size and intensity, ranging from raids on chemical warehouses to bombing whalers, and even the infamous bombing of a commercial airliner in 2015. Toxin's agenda has gradually shifted from her original idea - the complete primitivization of Humanity - towards a more "reasonable" goal: the intimidation of worldwide governments into investing seriously into sustainable, environmentally-safe alternatives to ecologically-damaging factors.

    In layman’s terms, Fahcelkel can freeze a room or turn it into an oven by manipulating an object’s sensitivity to heat or cold. She can prevent ice cream from melting on a hot summer day or have instant boiling water by lowering the water’s boiling point into the negatives. Her powers affect the melting, boiling, and combustion points from -100 F to 100 F
    Abilities: Arlin practices her singing voice and writes her own songs as a hobby. Elsewhere, she is capable of home cooking
    Equipment: A miniature Flamethrower, notebook, pencils, fuel cells
    Weaknesses: Her powers can’t affect living organic flesh. Her opponents would have to be harmed by collateral damage on the clothes or equipment from her powers. Targets that have extreme durability or have extremely high or objects low melting, boiling or combustion point would experience minimal damage.

    Arlin’s paranoid about being judged by her peers which makes her hesitant to be more open. She would sometimes interpret benign remarks more negatively which causes Arlin to become more spiteful.

    Backstory: The only child of a single divorced father, Arlin grew up lonely in the house wishing for siblings to keep her company. The only things that prevented the home from becoming too empty were the family dog and her imaginary friends that grew up with her. Arlin practically considers them to be her surrogate siblings. Unfortunately, that didn’t always translate to external friendships at school, leaving her socially isolated and being an easy target for bullies. Thankfully, her father, dog, and imaginary sisters were always there to brighten up her mood.

    Arlin’s powers were discovered on one particularly bad day when a high school clique pulled a prank that finally broke her patience. Retaliation was on her mind and when Arlin kicked a concrete wall in frustration, the moment of the impact caused the wall to melt around her shoe. First confused then overjoyed, she immediately went back to her school to melt the tries of all her aggressors to fulfill her long-coveted revenge.

    Her father caught on to her new powers by noticing her ice cream never melting on her cone. For a police officer, it seemed like having a superpowered daughter sounds dangerous without proper guidance. In his brilliant mind, he brought her along to his work in secret to help him take on some of the more dangerous criminals roaming the streets. That was until he was forced to send her to TIAMA to become an actual superhero after the police chief privately told him to do so.

  • He cannot utilize modern tools for his craftsmanship magic to work so the truly amazing things like the equipment he has take loads of time.
  • He cannot craft change the volume of the materials he crafts with and the larger the volume the longer the crafting.
  • Heavy smoker and drinker, lifespan shortened by 40% and low stamina before he starts wheezing and coughing up black bile.
  • Must be drunk for his hands to stop shaking.

Legal Status: An Italian citizen and officially registered hero.
Backstory:
Waldemar was born as the second son to King Laurin of the Dolomite Dwarves and received a noble upbringing, being schooled in the arts of crafting, battling and reigning much like his brother for they both were to inherit the throne of King Laurin's realm, partitioning it between themselves.

Suffice to say, Waldemar was young and impressionable and idealistic when in 1250 his father rode out and stole the daughter, Similde, of the King on the River Etsch, who had intended to have her wed. He did not like that, not like that at all, knowing full well that it would spark conflict with the humans, a conflict he thought could easily grow beyond the dwarves' ability to win. And so he betrayed his father's trust and rode down into the valleys to the humans with the intention of showing them the path to the hidden kingdom of his father. When he arrived, it was as he had feared for not only had all the participants of the tourney for the abducted princess' aid formed a small host, they had also enlisted the aid of a well known hero, Dietrich of Berne.

And so it came that Waldemar led the host to the gates of his father's kingdom in the mountains. It was there that they came upon the beautiful rase gorden of Laurin, high upon the mountain. Enchanted by the garden's beauty, most of the knights' rage was quelled and they decided to wait for King Laurin to come out and parlay with them so they could negotiate the release of the princess in peace. All but one for the suitor Wittich grew impatient and tore through the silken thread that surrounded the rose garden, entering it without King Laurin's permission, causing Waldemar to cry out in horror for he knew his father's laws concerning the garden. Any who dared to pluck a rose from it or tear the silken thread would have to to have one hand and one foot chopped off.

Immediately King Laurin came riding out of his Kingdom atop his small horse, clad in gleaming armour, with a gleaming sword and bearing his magical belt. He challenged Wittich, who scoffed at the small dwarf, only to find himself easily overpowered by the King whose magical belt gave him the strength of 12 men. It was then that Dietrich stepped in and fought the King, the two of them trading blows and being evenly matched untill Laurin donned his invisibility cloak, making it impossible for Dietrich to spot the dwarf king untill his long trusted friend Hildebrand called out and pointed out that Laurin moved the roses while moving about. And so Dietrich was able to spot Laurin, grabbed him and broke his magical belt with his hands, defeating the dwarf king.

Waldemar of course ran to his father's side, begging for them to release him and he got unexpected assistance when Similde came out of the kingdom, asking the heroes the same for Laurin had treated her well. Soothed by their words, Dietrich complied and Laurin led them into his kingdom and promised them food and drink. Yet behind the old dwarf's friendly facade he seethed in anger and hatred and hatched a plan to win Similde for himself still. And so it came that during the feast, King Laurin's loyal guards jumped the knights and quickly overpowered them, locking them up in Laurin's dungeons. Yet another act of treachery that Waldemar found so unlike his father and thought would bring them ever closer to war with not only the King of the River Etsch but also the city of Berne and other allies the humans could gather.

When Waldemar went to the dungeons, he found that in his rage, Dietrich had already destroyed the chains binding him and his fellow companions and was dangerously bending the the door to their cell. Realizing in just how much shit they were if they didn't comply immediately, Waldemar let them out of their cell and was about to lead them to Similde and out of the kingdom when his brother Walberan and dwarven guards stormed in. Traitor, was the last thing Walberan managed to say before the unarmed Dietrich and the knights had overpowered him and the guards and stormed further into the kingdom, calling for Laurin to show himself.

Atleast this time his father listened to reason and surrendered himself to Dietrich and released princess Similde, which the suitor Hartwich took and rode back with to the King of the River Etsch. King Laurin on the other hand was taken prisoner and Dietrich decided to take him with him to Berne so he could serve as a hostage there. However...Waldemar's treason did not go unnoticed, neither by his father, nor by his absolutely not forgettable brother Walberan. Waldemar was disinherited and Walberan crowned the sole king of the Dwarven Kingdom in the Dolomites. A fact that Walberan would hold over Waldemar for years to come. That and his treason.

Despite his poor experiences with them, Waldemar continued arguing in favour of the humans yet after what had happened to their king and knowing how he had betrayed them, few dwarves listened to him as Walberan incited a yearning for vengeance and war within the hearts of his people. And so it came merely 3 years after King Laurin was taken prisoner, that a dwarven host marched upon Berne. Once more Waldemar felt the need to act. He had been assigned to a scouting party, scouting ahead of the host which left him with plenty of opportunities to make for a mad dash to Berne, something he promptly did after caving the the nightwatch's head in with a warhammer and stealing a horse. He warned Dietrich of the approaching host of Walberan and his father, who had realized the folly of his ways by now, agreed to negotiate a peace between the two sides.

The old king was successful, yet once more Waldemar had betrayed his people and this time he had even spilled the blood of his kind to do so. Son of the king or not, he had to be punished and so Waldemar was shaved and kicked out of the Dolomites, never to return untill he had redeemed himself. To that end his people crafted a special branding iron which they heated up before pressing it onto the back of his shaved head, branding him with a magical brand that would only vanish upon him completing his task and redeeming himself.

And so Waldemar was kicked out and forced to wander. At first he wandered Central Europe and Italy, offering his services as a blacksmith to people in hopes that simple menial work could possibly redeem him...yet when his stomach started rumbling and a farmer caught him stealing his things, he quickly realized he had to resort to that solely to survive. As the craze of the Inquisition swept the catholic world and religious wars broke out between catholics and protestants, Waldemar was quick to retreat to a mountain valley in southern Switzerland, remote yet with a few people living there from servicing which he could make a living.

When industrialisation rolled around and information and transportation was beginning to spread more and more, Waldemar began to move northwards again. He was not at risk anymore for being locked up or burned or anything by a mob now, no, now he would at best receive pitiful glances for his stature, people likely thinking him a man who had lost in the lottery of life and been given a body of short stature. Still, it allowed him to work hard and well and his clockwork craft became widely known. Too widely as he would soon find out, for when the First World War kicked off, he was soon visited by some people who required his skills. They were secretive and only told him that they required his hand with some fine machinery and so he eventually agreed for the pay was enormous and like any dwarf he still had a lust for precious metals and shiny gems, things of material worth.

It became obvious who the men were when they crossed the german border and he was greeted by a military escort which did not permit any objections. Before long he found himself in a train to the frontline and then, finally, he was at a place most dreadful, a slaughterhouse. He was in Verdun. Here, in deep underground laboratories, a department of the German Imperial Military worked tirelessly on excavating precious artifacts and harnessing their power, unleashing horrors the likes of which Waldemar had only heard in tales from his father and brother of an earlier time. He'd have stopped but...the weapons of the Germans were a very convincing argument not to and Waldemar was just hoping to see his home once more before his death, hence why he rather disliked the idea of dying to redeem himself. Eventually the entire program went to shit, the Germans losing control of it while some hero, like the old Dietrich of Berne, seemed to have risen and was smashing their petty experiments. In the chaos Waldemar managed to escape back to Switzerland from there went south, to Italy.

He had chosen Italy because they had fought on the side of the Entente as well as because it now hosted the kingdom that was his home. Little did he know that just a few years later, fascism would grip the country and eventually Mussolini's blackshirts caught the genius clockwork maker and threatened him into working with them on tank designs. However, the Italian being much less able to inspire fear in Waldemar than the germans had before, the dwarf was anything but cooperative and the designs he helped with carried a great deal of obvious flaws, flaws that did not aid the Royal Italian Army at all when the Second World War broke out and they were thrown against the likes of Britain, the Soviet Union and Greece. When Italy signed the armistice in 1943, Waldemar was able to escape and, using handsomely paid Mafia contacts, managed to get himself smuggled onto Sicily where he got in touch with the Americans, offering his expertise.

By 1944 Waldemar was in the United States, crafting and making precision tools and parts for the Manhattan Project to finally end the evil beast that was the Nazis, telling himself that what he was doing would surely redeem him for the Nazis were horrendous. Yet the Nazis were brought low even without his help and the weapons he had a hand in crafting were instead used on the Japanese, brutal fanatics in war too yet not the kind of guided, cold evil that the Nazis had been. A monster slain indeed yet it felt shallow and his mark did not vanish...

In the following decades the pessimistic Waldemar was forced into the CIA where he continued crafting equipment of exquisite quality, ranging from explosive cigarettes for attempted assassinations on Fidel Castro over peculiar sniper rifles to occasional high grade equipment for the Cabal itself. Following the Cabal's retirement announcement in 2010, Waldemar was briefly set to work with the US Army, unknowingly supplying equipment to STORM before TIAMA appeared, at which point he signed on there, hoping to perhaps help young new heroes in staying alive and saving people as well as possibly engage in heroics himself. He was aging and knew that his heavy drinking and smoking habits had likely drastically reduced his life expectancy and while his employers likely cared little for his wishes to see his home again, he very much intended to redeem himself and go home before dying.

She can prevent ice cream from melting on a hot summer day or have instant boiling water by lowering the water’s boiling point into the negatives. Her powers affect the melting, boiling, and combustion points from -100 F to 100 F
    Abilities: Arlin practices her singing voice and writes her own songs as a hobby. Elsewhere, she is capable of home cooking
    Equipment: A miniature Flamethrower, notebook, pencils, fuel cells
    Weaknesses: Her powers can’t affect living organic flesh. Her opponents would have to be harmed by collateral damage on the clothes or equipment from her powers. Targets that have extreme durability or have extremely high or objects low melting, boiling or combustion point would experience minimal damage.

    Arlin’s paranoid about being judged by her peers which makes her hesitant to be more open. She would sometimes interpret benign remarks more negatively which causes Arlin to become more spiteful.

    Backstory: The only child of a single divorced father, Arlin grew up lonely in the house wishing for siblings to keep her company. The only things that prevented the home from becoming too empty were the family dog and her imaginary friends that grew up with her. Arlin practically considers them to be her surrogate siblings. Unfortunately, that didn’t always translate to external friendships at school, leaving her socially isolated and being an easy target for bullies. Thankfully, her father, dog, and imaginary sisters were always there to brighten up her mood.

    Arlin’s powers were discovered on one particularly bad day when a high school clique pulled a prank that finally broke her patience. Retaliation was on her mind and when Arlin kicked a concrete wall in frustration, the moment of the impact caused the wall to melt around her shoe. First confused then overjoyed, she immediately went back to her school to melt the tries of all her aggressors to fulfill her long-coveted revenge.

    Her father caught on to her new powers by noticing her ice cream never melting on her cone. For a police officer, it seemed like having a superpowered daughter sounds dangerous without proper guidance. In his brilliant mind, he brought her along to his work in secret to help him take on some of the more dangerous criminals roaming the streets. That was until he was forced to send her to TIAMA to become an actual superhero after the police chief privately told him to do so.

Backstory:
Waldemar was born as the second son to King Laurin of the Dolomite Dwarves and received a noble upbringing, being schooled in the arts of crafting, battling and reigning much like his brother for they both were to inherit the throne of King Laurin's realm, partitioning it between themselves.

Suffice to say, Waldemar was young and impressionable and idealistic when in 1250 his father rode out and stole the daughter, Similde, of the King on the River Etsch, who had intended to have her wed. He did not like that, not like that at all, knowing full well that it would spark conflict with the humans, a conflict he thought could easily grow beyond the dwarves' ability to win. And so he betrayed his father's trust and rode down into the valleys to the humans with the intention of showing them the path to the hidden kingdom of his father. When he arrived, it was as he had feared for not only had all the participants of the tourney for the abducted princess' aid formed a small host, they had also enlisted the aid of a well known hero, Dietrich of Berne.

And so it came that Waldemar led the host to the gates of his father's kingdom in the mountains. It was there that they came upon the beautiful rase gorden of Laurin, high upon the mountain. Enchanted by the garden's beauty, most of the knights' rage was quelled and they decided to wait for King Laurin to come out and parlay with them so they could negotiate the release of the princess in peace. All but one for the suitor Wittich grew impatient and tore through the silken thread that surrounded the rose garden, entering it without King Laurin's permission, causing Waldemar to cry out in horror for he knew his father's laws concerning the garden. Any who dared to pluck a rose from it or tear the silken thread would have to to have one hand and one foot chopped off.

Immediately King Laurin came riding out of his Kingdom atop his small horse, clad in gleaming armour, with a gleaming sword and bearing his magical belt. He challenged Wittich, who scoffed at the small dwarf, only to find himself easily overpowered by the King whose magical belt gave him the strength of 12 men. It was then that Dietrich stepped in and fought the King, the two of them trading blows and being evenly matched untill Laurin donned his invisibility cloak, making it impossible for Dietrich to spot the dwarf king untill his long trusted friend Hildebrand called out and pointed out that Laurin moved the roses while moving about. And so Dietrich was able to spot Laurin, grabbed him and broke his magical belt with his hands, defeating the dwarf king.

Waldemar of course ran to his father's side, begging for them to release him and he got unexpected assistance when Similde came out of the kingdom, asking the heroes the same for Laurin had treated her well. Soothed by their words, Dietrich complied and Laurin led them into his kingdom and promised them food and drink. Yet behind the old dwarf's friendly facade he seethed in anger and hatred and hatched a plan to win Similde for himself still. And so it came that during the feast, King Laurin's loyal guards jumped the knights and quickly overpowered them, locking them up in Laurin's dungeons. Yet another act of treachery that Waldemar found so unlike his father and thought would bring them ever closer to war with not only the King of the River Etsch but also the city of Berne and other allies the humans could gather.

When Waldemar went to the dungeons, he found that in his rage, Dietrich had already destroyed the chains binding him and his fellow companions and was dangerously bending the the door to their cell. Realizing in just how much shit they were if they didn't comply immediately, Waldemar let them out of their cell and was about to lead them to Similde and out of the kingdom when his brother Walberan and dwarven guards stormed in. Traitor, was the last thing Walberan managed to say before the unarmed Dietrich and the knights had overpowered him and the guards and stormed further into the kingdom, calling for Laurin to show himself.

Atleast this time his father listened to reason and surrendered himself to Dietrich and released princess Similde, which the suitor Hartwich took and rode back with to the King of the River Etsch. King Laurin on the other hand was taken prisoner and Dietrich decided to take him with him to Berne so he could serve as a hostage there. However...Waldemar's treason did not go unnoticed, neither by his father, nor by his absolutely not forgettable brother Walberan. Waldemar was disinherited and Walberan crowned the sole king of the Dwarven Kingdom in the Dolomites. A fact that Walberan would hold over Waldemar for years to come. That and his treason.

Despite his poor experiences with them, Waldemar continued arguing in favour of the humans yet after what had happened to their king and knowing how he had betrayed them, few dwarves listened to him as Walberan incited a yearning for vengeance and war within the hearts of his people. And so it came merely 3 years after King Laurin was taken prisoner, that a dwarven host marched upon Berne. Once more Waldemar felt the need to act. He had been assigned to a scouting party, scouting ahead of the host which left him with plenty of opportunities to make for a mad dash to Berne, something he promptly did after caving the the nightwatch's head in with a warhammer and stealing a horse. He warned Dietrich of the approaching host of Walberan and his father, who had realized the folly of his ways by now, agreed to negotiate a peace between the two sides.

The old king was successful, yet once more Waldemar had betrayed his people and this time he had even spilled the blood of his kind to do so. Son of the king or not, he had to be punished and so Waldemar was shaved and kicked out of the Dolomites, never to return untill he had redeemed himself. To that end his people crafted a special branding iron which they heated up before pressing it onto the back of his shaved head, branding him with a magical brand that would only vanish upon him completing his task and redeeming himself.

And so Waldemar was kicked out and forced to wander. At first he wandered Central Europe and Italy, offering his services as a blacksmith to people in hopes that simple menial work could possibly redeem him...yet when his stomach started rumbling and a farmer caught him stealing his things, he quickly realized he had to resort to that solely to survive. As the craze of the Inquisition swept the catholic world and religious wars broke out between catholics and protestants, Waldemar was quick to retreat to a mountain valley in southern Switzerland, remote yet with a few people living there from servicing which he could make a living.

When industrialisation rolled around and information and transportation was beginning to spread more and more, Waldemar began to move northwards again. He was not at risk anymore for being locked up or burned or anything by a mob now, no, now he would at best receive pitiful glances for his stature, people likely thinking him a man who had lost in the lottery of life and been given a body of short stature. Still, it allowed him to work hard and well and his clockwork craft became widely known. Too widely as he would soon find out, for when the First World War kicked off, he was soon visited by some people who required his skills. They were secretive and only told him that they required his hand with some fine machinery and so he eventually agreed for the pay was enormous and like any dwarf he still had a lust for precious metals and shiny gems, things of material worth.

It became obvious who the men were when they crossed the german border and he was greeted by a military escort which did not permit any objections. Before long he found himself in a train to the frontline and then, finally, he was at a place most dreadful, a slaughterhouse. He was in Verdun. Here, in deep underground laboratories, a department of the German Imperial Military worked tirelessly on excavating precious artifacts and harnessing their power, unleashing horrors the likes of which Waldemar had only heard in tales from his father and brother of an earlier time. He'd have stopped but...the weapons of the Germans were a very convincing argument not to and Waldemar was just hoping to see his home once more before his death, hence why he rather disliked the idea of dying to redeem himself. Eventually the entire program went to shit, the Germans losing control of it while some hero, like the old Dietrich of Berne, seemed to have risen and was smashing their petty experiments. In the chaos Waldemar managed to escape back to Switzerland from there went south, to Italy.

He had chosen Italy because they had fought on the side of the Entente as well as because it now hosted the kingdom that was his home. Little did he know that just a few years later, fascism would grip the country and eventually Mussolini's blackshirts caught the genius clockwork maker and threatened him into working with them on tank designs. However, the Italian being much less able to inspire fear in Waldemar than the germans had before, the dwarf was anything but cooperative and the designs he helped with carried a great deal of obvious flaws, flaws that did not aid the Royal Italian Army at all when the Second World War broke out and they were thrown against the likes of Britain, the Soviet Union and Greece. When Italy signed the armistice in 1943, Waldemar was able to escape and, using handsomely paid Mafia contacts, managed to get himself smuggled onto Sicily where he got in touch with the Americans, offering his expertise.

    Masako Ōshiro is what many would consider exotic, as a kitsune, Masako sports both a rather bushy tail, as well as abnormal ears, both in placement, as well as structure, as well as pronounced canines. Masako is a rather lithe individual with almost unmarred skin sans a scar on her back from a playground accident as a child.



Motivations
    Goals: Find a meaning in life.
    Fears: The unending hollowness of her life becoming unfixable. That her decision in joining TIAMA was the wrong move.


Strengths and Weaknesses
    Source of Power: Mythological Heritage
    Powers :
    • Kitsune: The direct descendant of a Nine-Tailed Kitsune, Masako inherited a good majority of the Yōkai's supernatual powers. These powers include: An enhanced array of senses, such as a hearing, smell, and night vision level on par with wild foxes. The capacity to produce illusions within a 25 meter area within line of sight, manifesting so resoundly that nothing short of magic or direct interaction can reveal it as fake. Generating and manipulating small amounts of fire. A number of extra bones in her finger tips forming claws that project from the finger at the tip below the nail. A surprisingly robust and durable body, a degree of healing above the normal human level, capable of surviving impacts from sub caliber bullets unscathed. A prehensile tail, and finally, the ability to transform between a humanoid form and the form of a silver fox if she is not in anyone's line of sight. In a less active role, Masako can project herself into a person's mind when sleeping or otherwise unconscious, or possess an individual through prolonged unobstructed eye contact.
    Abilities:
    • Having served in the JASDF for a period of 3 years, Masako has a noted level of combat training, despite her MOS being that of a UH-60 Crew Chief.
    • Fluent in Japanese, English and Italian.
    Equipment: Type 89 Rifle w/ bayonet, Odachi sword.
    Weaknesses:
    • Illusions have a much harder time tricking those with mental powers such as telepathy, as they inherently know when a person's mind is fake; or telekinesis, as telekinetic can detect fake shapes by not being able to manipulate them.
    • Possession requires 44 seconds of prolonged, unobstructed eye to eye contact. Breaking this possession requires the targets death, the target falling unconscious, an incredibly emotional scarring event, or Masako willingly relinquishing control.


Background:
    Job: TIAMA Sponsored Hero/Auto Mechanic
    Legal Status: US-Japanese Dual Citizen
    Backstory: Masako was born out of the marriage between a US Navy Corpsman, and a Kitsune on the island of Okinawa. Taking her mother's surname to avoid the typical ostracism in Japan of such unions. Her early life was somewhat messy, with not a whole lot of time spent with her father, and the general need to hide what she was brought an unreasonable amount of stress to the child. When the Night of the Broken Mask finally happened, it happened to coincide with the end of her father's enlistment contract, and her family took the opportunity to move to the United States.

    Her father's native New York was a reasonably expensive place to live, it was also where Masako finally met her paternal grandparents, and was enrolled in school with a rather minimal understanding of English. Thankfully, her early school years were spent bonding with a duo of other fellow 'freaks' Marcus and Hannah Konig, getting to be well known as a rather mischievous child. This friendship would last in full for 6 years, until the event which lead to the Cabal's retirement claimed Marcus' life. After which the remaining two would slowly drift apart over the years, culminating in Masako's return to Japan with her mother, after her father's death from cancer, an event which Masako protested against.

    Masako was once again an outsider, having spent close to a decade in the US compared to her native Japan, Masako had a hard time fitting in. Eventually she enlisted in the JGSDF, aiming to at least find some form of camaraderie, it still ended up making her feel somewhat hollow. When her enlistment finished by 2019, her mother had passed or had finally disappeared after a time like all Kitsune eventually do, and Masako settled on moving back to the US. Where she worked with her cousins in an auto repair shop for the remainder of the year. It wasn't until the recent heist on the national reserve that Masako applied to TIAMA, in which she met an old friend in need.

    Powers :
    • Parasitization: Any biological being in contact with Auden's true form, the magical orb, can be 'dominated' by their magic. Soul, mind, and body magic are used in this process.
      • Speed and success rate depends on the mental fortitude of the target, with the average human lasting 30-60 seconds. If successful, the parasitized host will merge with the orb until only ~15% remains visible at the chest or stomach. 24 hours within a parasitized body will render it brain dead, with Auden's own mind completely taking over and absorbing the host's memories.
      • Parasitized hosts can be further manipulated by Auden's magic, allowing for sensory enhancement or removal (i.e. pain immunity, improved eyesight, muscle enhancement), harmful body weaponization (self-destructing, limit removal, mana cannibalization), and so on. While a normal mage would hesitate to brutalize their own body, Auden has no such limit, and can sacrifice flesh for boosts in magic.
      • Auden's mind is ingrained into the orb, retaining perfect memory of the hundreds of lives they've lived and the memories they've taken.
    • Forbidden Arts: Auden is knowledgeable in most forms of magic, from pryomancy to illusions, but chooses to specialize almost entirely in soul, mind, and body magic. Their skillset has adapted to suit their containment within the orb. Auden requires direct contact, host or not, to use their specialty magic. In emergencies, Auden can cannibalize their host body to empower magic attacks, sacrificing an arm or leg to launch massive fireballs and such, or to boost their specialty magic as a last ditch effort. Auden can also use their soul, mind, and body magic to accurately sense beings within 50m (164ft).
    Abilities:
    • Beserker: Auden's main style of fighting involves being up close and personal, often significantly wounding their current host in an effort to neutralize the enemy at all costs. While their host is still fresh and not yet brain dead, Auden will often use this factor to their advantage, holding their own host body captive against those aware of their body-stealing powers.
    • Experienced: Auden, being over a thousand years old, has undoubtedly more experience than most. Auden has lived numerous lives from all aspects of life, spending decades in the shoes of others, and has come out humbled and better for it. They are skilled in all walks of life, with masterful skill in many weapons, fluency in a dozen languages, and so on. Unfortunately, they've grown rather prideful of this and struggle to value other lives. Even so, they try and live each life to its fullest.

      Equipment:
      • Auden possesses a large fortune amassed over their long life, roughly equating to 400 million USD. This fortune is inherited by their, usually adopted, child which Auden parasitizes when their previous body expires, forcing the magical orb onto their descendant under the guise of a family heirloom. In dangerous times, Auden would prepare multiple spare bodies across their properties.
      • The magical orb that contains their ancient soul.
      Weaknesses:
      • Auden's body, the magical orb, can be broken quite easily. It's magical defenses are mostly for preservation and anti-tamper. If damaged while inside a host, it will repair itself over the course of a week, temporarily leaving Auden mortal. If this happens, they'll likely desperately try and escape capture or harm by any means possible.
      • Auden's soul and mind magic, while very powerful, is not instantaneous and can be easily countered by simply not touching the orb for too long or wearing thick clothing. However, this does not apply once Auden has a physical body.
      • Auden requires direct physical contact to use their specialty magic (soul, mind, body). They also require a host body to cast any spells outside their specialty magic.


    Background:
      Job: Investor, philanthropist, villain (TIAMA knows they exist and are able to body-swap, but don't how exactly or their main identity as a millionaire).
      Legal Status: US Citizen, millionaire.
      Backstory: Born in the 9th century, Amarta was raised in a cult of mages residing in a small European village. Only a select few powerful figures even knew of the cult's existence. Leo VI, Byzantine emperor of the time, sent a large force to subjugate the village in order to force them into allegiance. In return for a method of immortality, their village would be spared, and the people handsomely rewarded. Auden, now mostly known as Amarta, was a veritable genius in the mystic arts pioneering several advancements in extending human life. With the entire village behind them, and support from the Byzantine emperor, Amarta became the de-facto figurehead of the cult. The very best among them. Their life's work resulted in the creation of a prototype soul orb, a magical artifact that could, in theory, indefinitely sustain any single soul stored within.

      New Byzantine emperors came and went, with Constantine VII Flavius Porphyrogenitus being the latest at Auden's success. He was not pleased with this method of immortality, refuting that, while it would indeed work, he would not cast away his humanity in such a manner. For their failure at not producing a 'viable' method, the emperor ordered for the cult's execution to prevent others from stealing this method. Amarta immediately abandoned their village, fleeing with the orb into hiding. It wasn't until their first death did they store their soul within the orb, from which they'd lay dormant for two-hundred years buried beside their own corpse. An unfortunate grave-robber would be Amarta's first victim, whenever one body grew too old, they'd simply swap it for another one. Sometimes they'd grow attached to certain hosts and augment it to live for decades at a time. Being an unparalleled mage no longer limited by flesh allowed Amarta to perfectly recall every memory they made and stole.

      Amarta has seen nations rise and fall, has traveled the world several times over, and now calls the US their home. Centuries of adventure has resulted in an enviable fortune and influence to match, amassed by consolidating their wealth via possessing their inheritors several times over and bribing others with increased lifespans. Amarta has large stakes in many companies, and often plays a hand manipulating things to go their way, often funding criminal organizations or joining them in-person. Their only goal now is to find or create the ultimate host body, one that can indefinitely sustain them and handle anything the world could throw their way. With the recent surge of superpower individuals in the last hundred years, they might find one sooner than they think.

    General Powers:

    • Superhuman mental and physical dexterity: A genetic inheritance from her mother, while not the best, she is well above peak human.
    • Insectiod Strength: Capable of lifting 10 times body weight.
    • "Mothsilk" Manipulation: Produces and controls a bulletproof putty-like 'silk' material. Mothsilk is connected to a variety of powers:
      • Can Sonokinetically draw in matter from a 3 meter radius and weighing up to 5 Kilograms individually to convert to Mothsilk
      • Can form an spherical cocoon around herself out of Mothsilk, which allows her to transform into her different forms.
      • Regenerates from wounds while in cocoon (Mothsilk on her body has a more generic 'biomass' characteristic than when it is away from her body)
      • Other powers of these cocoons depend on which moth form she is in.

    General Moth Powers:


    • Moth form: Can shift from a looking like a regular human being into her "Common Moth" form, from which she is endowed with her other powers.
    • Winged Flight: Capable of winged flight at a top speed of approximately ~260 Km/h
    • Sonic Blasts: Capable of putting out blasts of sonic waves across the spectrum of audio frequencies.

    Common Moth Powers:


    • Mothsilk Petals: Can create an array of up to dozen "petals" of Mothsilk that she can sonokinetically levitate and launch at the speed of sound.
      the "petals" can be put into a variety of shapes, including ropes for restraining and spikes for impaling.
    • Camouflage: Able to change colors and mask her scent to match her environment.
    • Adhesion: Able to adhere to an object or person on touch if she so chooses.

      Cocoon abilities:


      • Speed Burst: Able to quickly accelerate to and travel at a maximum speed of 300 km/h in any direction.
      • Permeation: Able to temporarily turn herself into a liquid that can permeate some materials and allow her to come through the other side.
      • Rolling Adhesion: Able to adhere to and roll along surfaces at any angle.


    Hercules Moth Powers:


    • Rampage: Enhances her abilities by five times for a limited period of time, that culminates in a forced return to Common Moth form, in which she expels her weight difference in Mothsilk in a blast that she can direct but not stop.
    • Sonic Shield: Creates double layer "sonic field", with both taking approximately 350 meters per second of speed off objects traveling faster than 350 meters per second.
    • Mothsilk Bombs: Able to create "explosives" that release adhesive mothsilk that Lotus can further control.

      Cocoon abilities:


      • Rolling Ball: Quickly accelerate and roll at a maximum speed of 75 km/h
      • Ruthless Roll: Anything lighter than her that she bumps into has no impact on her momentum.
      • Bulletproof: Small arms rounds with the exception of anti-material rounds do no penetrate her cocoon.


    Abilities:

    • Mechanic: Able to fix and jerry-rig a variety of weapons and tools by using material around her and her powers.
    • Multilingual: In addition to English, she speaks Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic and French fluently. Also Knows American Sign Language.
    • Power integrative Martial Artist: Would only be a little better than average were it not for her ability to incorporate her powers into her style, but her creativity with her powers makes her a lot more dangerous than she otherwise would be.
    • Can handle a gun: Not a great shot, but her dexterity is helpful in making her a better one than she'd otherwise be.


    Weaknesses:


    • Dazzled by Light: Bright lights can temporarily scramble her ability to navigate, forcing her to either stop moving or simply move linearly towards or away from the light source.
    • Sounds Suppression: Consistent, high pitched sounds can temporarily, but severely weaken her sonokinetic abilities and also her capacity to navigate when in a cocoon form.
    • Flammability of Mothsilk: Starts out in a putty-like form that drys out rather quickly, at which point it becomes as flammable as silk would normally be.
    • Sonic Shield Weakness: Moving lowers the effectiveness of her sonic shield when it is active.
    • Adhesion Weakness: Her ability to adhere to surfaces is not absolute, she finds it harder to adhere to a surface the colder it is. Additionally, sufficiently strong individuals can rip the adhering parts of her skin off by pulling against her grip while simultaneously pushing her off.
    • Herculean 'Mute': While in her Hercules moth form, she is 'mute', while she can simulate speech with her sonokinetic abilities, that involves using them for that purpose.
    • Gathering Mass: as extensive as her abilities are, the creation and destruction of matter are not one of them. if she is to use her mothsilk, both as a tool and means to change form, she must convert another matter to do so.

    Backstory: Soraya Leite was born November 1st, 1999 in Nevada from Nuralain Leite, an elite Brazilian/Lebanese metahuman bounty hunter, as part of a deal for her freedom after being caught by U.S. Government during a job that put her at odds with the interests of the United States. Soraya is a genetically modified clone of her mother, in addition to having her mother's genes, she also had a variety of new mutations brought about by genetic modification intended to give her additional insectoid powers. She was 'raised' in a program that operated in parallel to the one in which produced responsible for Ophiuchia, with a key difference that Soraya had somewhat normal life, with the cover story of being raised by an aunt (who was also a geneticist that worked with the company that produced the genetic therapy that gave Soraya moth powers) with the tests on her mostly being about tracking her capabilities as she grew older. In her early childhood she looked up to Ophiuchia like a big sister, however, at a young age, Soraya had serious health issues and after extensive pleading by Ophiuchia to Aethelind, the A.I. agreed to aid Soraya. However from that point forward, though they remained cordial, Soraya observed that Ophiuchia became more distant and violent. Additionally, she grew up being told that her mother, though an able fighter, was ruthless and generally uninterested in anyone but herself. In 2018, she joined TIAMA as a fulltime hero and moved to New York, using the alias "Lotus". Soraya lives with a constant concern that as a result of either her genetics or the potentially corrupting influence of her great powers could lead her to excuse herself into becoming killing machine, as while she avoids more macabre uses of her powers, she is well aware of how terrifying she could be were she to lose her inhibitions to brutality.
