Great Senate ratified devolutions, new names
VILLA QUIRINA, QUIRIS - Last night of 9 September, the Great Senate ratified the devolution of Terraferma-Logudoro-Gallura in Aquilea elevating her status from a dependency into a sovereign state, the self-governance and independence of the Patrimony of John the Divine as Quirinese Catholics' bastion, the direct implementation of authority by Senate on Villa Quirina, and the most controversial bill, the granted claim over Sarrin and Relimaark as a 'legitimate invasion', though the latter was rephrased as 'autonomy implementation'. The Sarrin-Relimaark affairs was revised with the State of Kh'mar added as part of the 'implementation'. New nomenclature for specific states were granted as well, with the ratification of the mentioned actions.
The new name of the lengthy described Charleshirean State Dependency of Terraferma-Logudoro-Gallura was changed into Most Serene Republic of Nuova Venezia after a referendum approved by the Charleshirean republican constitutional chamber and forwarded by the populace of TLG. With the processed paperwork was the proposal for the new flag of Nouva Venezia. Later on, after the new name and flag proposal was approved, the pro-Venetian House of Representative issued a referendum with civilian backing to declare Nuova Venezia an independent state without prior process in the Great Senate. After hearing the said referendum, the Great Senate approved the referendum and declared it "unanimously constitutional". Charleshirean senators were the only ones who voted for its repeal and opposition, though later on they admitted defeat in the process and recognized Nuova Venezia an independent state. The transitional council composed of the leading partisan members of the House were setting up an elective monarchy with mixed government, demarchy and universal suffrage.
The Catholic sector in Panatia moved in the Imperial Parliament by proposing the disintegration of the Patrimony of John the Divine and become a secular state itself. The King-Emperor, seeing this as a primary step to promote Catholicism even stronger in his imperial domain, decided to support the proposal until such time Parliament approves it. Protestants and other Christian communities opposed the idea of having a "Vatican city" in Panatia for it might dissolve the unity coherently solidified by the past king-emperors and might destroy the internal framework of the church-state government of the Imperial Dominions. Catholics disagreed in the opposition's idea and mentioned that this is the only way they know to protect their beliefs and judgments against the non-Catholics, which is to settle peacefully and have a pilgrimage in their own land. By the fifth day of the proposal, it was sent to the King-Emperor and ratified it, making the "Patrimony" a sovereign state, but the clause regarding the military matters were as follows: "that the Patrimony shall bear no arms in virtue of Christ Jesus' teachings of peace and harmony. The Patrimony shall rely upon the protection of the State and her Military and equipment."
The Great Senate, after its final revision, has formally approved the bill concerning the peaceful annexation of Sarrin, Relimaark and Kh'mar as an addition. The purpose for such annexation was the "flexible stretch of natural resources protection, preservation of indigenous cultures and traditions of the area through assimilation and constitutionally-driven government with laws fit from the customs of the foreign peoples, and spread of true demarchic and democratic ideals regardless of belief and purpose." This was assured by the nations who invested interested in the archipelago lying in the Naltulo Ocean. This also concerns the Vicin Bay question. Asked of other majorly known powers if they intervene, Ranza answers, "we will not recognize them, their presence, nor any inch of them, for they have no idea what will we offer and initiate in those islands". He added, "if they want business with us, lest they must know that we are already watching them firsthand." Ranza also warns that "if Quirina is hindered by any other interests, the country will make sure it will be pursued until done, regardless of any mistake other nations may see it."
Viktorika hosts W.I. Summit today, flies red flag
ILYANOGRAD, VIKTORIKA - The Viktorikan delegation has started its first day of the 2014 Congress of Socialist to continue the last year's congress and create newer adjustments and ideas in the Workers' International as Viktorika owns the spotlight in the Quirinese Sondria, and all of Quirina itself. Agendas were revealed by few of the commentators and supporters of the Viktorikan delegation, and even earned the Senate's favor by flying the Viktorikan flag in the Great Senate Curia, which gained few criticism on such favoritism the Senate shown.
Few commonly-known agendas of the Viktorikan delegation were the (1) enhanced economic ties with other socialist states organized by a small committee of delegates from the International, (2) further enhancement of military programs and activities with other concerned socialist states, (3) total and final proposition on the political motive of the International with the steadily growing number of left wing states emerging in all parts of the world, and (4) the coherent stance of the International about peace and socialism attained by the Viktorikan nation, now to be emanated to all of the members as a proposal.
Another unspoken and yet most intriguing agenda is the exclusive stance of the International and its correlation with the United Left alliance, which is composed of mixed plurality of Maoists, Stalinists, Trotskiyists and many more leftwing minded nations. One of the members of the Viktorikan delegation, Alexandrov Arosokich, was asked about the opinion of the delegation with the UL. He only mentioned before leaving our questions with words, saying "UL is not a leftwing alliance. A true leftist is true to his principles, and never to rely or adjust on another, disregarding the reason of 'uniting with other ideas', which is impossible. That's one reason why the International is still active today--which is its secular stance on socialism on the left, rather than seeking asylum and adjustments from the general left, which the UL covers. This is what Viktorika stands above all else."
The Great Senate approved the flying of the Viktorikan flag in Villa Quirina as sign of respect to the delegation and the upcoming summit. Although the whole of Quirina is a diverse lot, the Senate still stood for impartiality from political agenda and kept on it since then. The flag shall be lowered after the first day of the Congress and will raise the new National Banner of the Great Republic, which shall be revealed to the public and to the world after the red banner is lowered.
