The current SRNN, as it is now known as, is based at the Sondrian Regional Council Islands, the de facto center of Sondria, both geographically and politically. Alfred would eventually pass away from a tumor in his brain in 1998, passing down the company to his son, Christian Mortimer, who has since spread the company out across the region, and even into international waters..

The War In Nasiriyah

Al Hafa supported 'Hasbollah' launch offensive into the city of Al Dabseh

Al-Dabseh, Nasiriyah The war in Nasiriyah was concluded after the surrender of the military regime who had conducted a Coup against former President Abdullah. 81,206 Nasiriyan soldiers were killed in open combat while Mahdavian casualties were 201 killed in action. The initial conventional war had taken 2 months to complete and Nasiriyah came under Mahdavian occupation. Al Hafa a international terrorist organization with it's origins in Mahdah who have grown much over the last 6 months and have supported the resistance of occupation by Mahdavian forces. Since it's involvement and support in Nasiriyah for the resistance, 1,046 Mahdavian army soldiers have been killed with 2 missing in action. The rebel casualties are unknown but estimated to be higher, the civilian population has also taken a toll with this resistance to occupation. 12,539 civilians have been killed in the fighting of the insurgency, mostly being caught in the cross fire of battles or being massacred by resistance groups. For 8 days the Hasbollah group supported by Al Hafa, which is one of the more organized and well funded groups under Al Hafa's pay roll have launched an offensive in the city of Al Dabseh.

Al-Dabseh is the recent scene of fighting, Mahdavian occupational forces in the city include the 34th Mechanized Divison and the 3rd Artillery Battalion. Hasbollah numbers in the city are unknown but are said to be growing as the offensive goes on. The Mahdavian Army since the resistance began sprouting up and taking arms had used many methods to win it's engagements with rebel forces. Including leveling entire city blocks with planes or rocket artillery, or raising militant forces loyal to the occupation to fight alongside them. Such militant forces are the 'Jahbat Al Sharia' group who are part of the Shia minority of Nasiriyah who pledged loyalty to the Imperial Emirate and take arms against the extremists.

It is also rumored that the Mahdavian Army are training members of the new Nasiriyan Army that will take over military duties of the country when a new President has been put into office. This is Abir Baden, War Correspondent in the Mahdavian Army.

Rise of "Deusaeurian Oil Empire"

An off-shore, near-shore, oil rig off the coast of Litra in the Prosae islands.

Late on the 23^rd, the illustrious sovereign, Markus Deusaeuri, signed in to effect Decree 2367, which notably marks claim and sole ownership of several petroleum reservoirs inside and near Deusaeuari's new claims. The first area of the decree highlights the most notable and specific areas that will be included in the decree's jurisdiction, as well as adding guidelines that determine whether or not a petroleum field is in or outside the claims of the sovereignty. By far the largest petroleum field noted is the "Aurencent" field located in the jungles in and around the department of Sentrun. Estimates put the amount of petroleum put under the control of Deusaeuri by this decree, as well as previously controlled fields that were administered via older and as-of-now outdated decree, to be roughly between four-hundred and five-hundred 10⁹ BBL (barrel of oil).

While not all of this oil is easily accessible, drilling rights to it, by Decree 2368, have been mostly assigned to the newly formed group known as Canceio State Drilling, who have received rights to 82.5% of reserves, including the entirety of Aurencent field. Other groups receiving a portion of drilling rights, with an appropriate "oil tariff" is the Crontorian Engineering Corporation (CEC) and Nexus Corporation.

As background, these oil fields were discovered over time between the 1930's up to the recent 1980's. The Azafal Republic made itself a predominant power on the field of economics using these, but never was the full extent of their capacities released until recently. However, concerns have been brought up concerning the legitimacy of the claims. Many suspect that inflation may have occurred during the measurements, or adjusted after poor results were found. In order to help uncover the truth, Courier News personally traveled to the city of Surin-Tai to understand better. There, representative and newsman Sivil Gellius interviewed several professionals on the subject, ranging from geologists to cartographers. A Crontorian Engineering Corporation person in the area even led us to a site in which petroleum discovered had been recently made. There he was able to interview and confirm that claims made by Canceio State Drilling were "very likely accurate." Our representative even noted that oil wells were already being constructed, despite the site being relatively new and cleared.

Unfortunately, concerns brought up by the Crontorian Engineering Corporation regarding the security of their claims, and that negotiations were still partly underway, we cannot release any exact statements or photographs of the area.

Crown Regent Expresses Concern Over New Years Travel

The Crown Regent recently sat down with SRNN officials days ago to discuss the end of the year travels that often cause many numerous accidents. The New Years is a widely celebrated even in the Reich that often brings many families together, but also tears families apart because of the dangers. Over the past few years, holiday travelling has increased. As a result, the number of accidents have also decreased. Many cite the lack of better roads. Others cite the lack of state police, which has been in decline for the past two decades.

Adriana commented on the road system of the Reich. She called the system "Old and in need of repair." She herself cannot order the repair of the road system, as each prefecture is responsible for the repair of roads. She also urged drivers to take caution, citing the the frigid temperatures and reckless driving as the number one concern over the holiday. The Reich is the coldest nation in Sondria, with year round temperatures often never reaching above the freezing point. Iced over bridges and roads are common. Because of this, all automobiles and other vehicles are equipped with winter tires and chains, which help grab traction.

Union Formally Apologizes For Shooting Down Santa; Christmas Ruined For Billions of Children

UBC: Vienna- Shocking news emerged from the Luso-Cron Union mere hours ago as it was reported that none other than Kris Kringle, also known by his alias Santa Claus, was shot down while piloting an unlicensed aircraft in Union Airspace. Supreme Commander Rockepeller earlier addressed the nation and the world, apologizing for the Union’s role in effectively ruining this Christmas and many more Christmases to come as the takedown has reportedly resulted in fatalities, although the Union has withheld information in regards to who exactly was injured and or killed during this incident. The actions taken by the Union has drawn regional condemnation and spoiled the Christmas dreams of tens of billions of Sondrian citizens.

Earlier today, Union Missile Defense Command or UMIDCOM, reported an identified radar signature approaching from international waters towards the northern provinces of New Lusitaniagrad. Attempts to hail the object were unsuccessful, as were warnings about the consequences of violating Union airspace. When the object did not change course, F-97D Super Cerastes Fighters were reportedly scrambled to deter and interdict the unidentified object from reaching Union airspace. Following visual identification of the aircraft and considering the failure to communicate with Union Armed Forces commands, the order was given by Supreme Commander Rockepeller to down the aircraft. Reports from UMIDCOM state that several air to air missiles were fired at the unidentified object which was blown out of the sky by the scrambled fighter forces.

Speaking today in Vienna, Supreme Commander Rockepeller spoke about the incident, noting, “The stated goal and mission of the entire Union Armed Forces is the protection of the Luso-Cron Union. This includes protecting our air space and territorial waters from all threats, known and unknown. Unfortunately, it would appear that their stated mission on this day has led to an unfortunate death in the eyes of many in this region, and we are deeply sorry to the billions of people whose Christmas we have just spoiled. This should serve as a reminder, to all nations and night time gift givers, remembering to pass through customs.”

Amid this recent incident is a report from the Ministry of Intelligence with allegations that Santa Claus is actually an agent of the Imperium. Intelligence reports have indicated that Kris Kringle may have trained with the Kylarnatian Black Cobra Assassins. This would mean his attemped incursion into Union airspace was not an unfortunate accident, but a direct assault on the Union that could have led to mass casualties. Currently, the leading hypothesis that Kris Kringle was working to leave time-bombs across the Union disguised as presents in an attempt to cause millions of deaths on a celebrated holiday. Crown Regent Sits Down to Discuss Life and The Reich

Adriana Veronique once again sat down with SRNN officials the other day to talk about the Reich as a whole and how the nation was fairing over the course of 2013. SRNN official, Alisha Martin noted the Regent's uncanny awareness and astute temperate manner to be "exquisite" and "well-deserving of the Regency." Much of the interview was noted for it's rather off-topic talking that was generated from the Regent as she answered questions. Alisha also praised the Regent's resonant voice and heartfelt nature as the interview was conducted.

Adrian was announced Crown Regent of Alkharanian following the death of her well-beloved cousin, Marisike Yamaku. In the late Yamaku's will, she asked for Lady Adriana to succeed her. As was tradition, Adriana accepted the Regency as has since never looked back. Her short term has been characterized by her enthusiast appeal for the Fine Arts. As a result, the Aleniako National Art Museum received a hefty bonus, which was used to purchase illustrious works-of-art from across the world. The Crown Regent has also adjusted to life as the Regent, taking on the same responsibilities as her predecessor.

Lady Adriana is expected to attend a formal charity event for cancer on January 2, 2014. She is expected to speak on behalf of her late friend, Natalia lennon, who passed away from brain cancer. Lennon was an advocate for better treatment of all cancers, which Adriana took to great lengths to help decrease deaths from cancer.

Inside the new 'Prism', the Ministry of Defence's equivalent to the 'Bastion' in Agora, the Minister of Defence and President both announced that the insurgencies in the west and the north have been quelled with less than an estimated 18,000 insurgents left remaining, and over 147,000 incapacitated or dead since the official assimilation of Hitahdja and the fall of the Sultan 9 months ago.

The new Provinces and Territories in former Hitahdja have been officially integrated, and now have representatives in both The Peoples Chamber and The Greater House, polls report that the native populace is happier than it has ever been, officials spectate this is due to the large influx of Humanitarian Aid immediately following the war, along with the erection of various public services.

Very little information regarding the transfer has been give, however it is rumoured that The RIF will be constructing a similar base nearby. Currently Crontor has been barred from all non-civilian flights in Rephite Airspace, likely the cause of the air force spending increase.

In the rest of the southern areas, various military bases have been erected, and a large number of former-hitahdjan rebel fighters have enlisted in The Rephite Incorporated Forces (RIF), along with a large number of male and female conscripts from ages 19-27.

BREAKING NEWS: The Caesar is crowned Empress of Alkharania!

The Strategeum, Diannople - It has just been announced here in the past few moments that the Caesar, Silvier Catherina Hyuga IV, has now been bestowed with the newest title of 'Empress of Alkharania'. The announcement comes as it was confirmed that the Imperium controls almost eighty-five percent of the Sondrian continent's landmass, either through direct ownership, dominion status or association. The outlying states of Ikruchystan and Titianicia have yet to comment. The official ceremony is planned to be held sometime in the new year, but already the title has been adopted within the Caesar's personal style. No comment has been made by either the Fangthane Palace or the Strategeum - the central authority of Imperium rule on Alkharania.

It has also been confirmed that Dux Imperator Romulus Cato, who currently serves as the Viceroy for the Caesar over the original Alkharanian colony, will be re-styled as the Viceroy of Alkharania following the coronation. Archon Enex of the Directorate of Unilisia, Emir Augustus of the Imperial Emirate and Lady Adriana of the Empyreal Reich have been named 'Protectors' of the continent - but what that role entails has yet to be revealed.

The crowning also comes at a time when the Imperium still considers a possible withdrawal from Quirina on Aerus - The Caesar is likely to make an announcement on that issue later today. More to come as the story develops.

We are now transferring roughly 523 divisions of the Titianician State Militia as well as stationing a single heavy combat fleet in interregional waters 450 kilometres from Alkharania. However most importantly we are positioning the Orious type mobile strategic platform into MEO as well in order to remind the imperium of the cost of power and lies". She ended with "we will not attack unless we are attacked as peace on this continent."

Union Withdraws Diplomats From Alkharania; Rockepeller Calls Silvier 'A Stupid Bitch'

UBC: Alobordo- Citing rising tensions and the outbreak of war on the continent of Alkharania, President Christian Cranico of the Luso-Cron Union announced today that all Union diplomatic and embassy staff would be recalled immediately from embassies and consulates across the continent, including nations such as Mahdah, the Ditorstate of Titianicia, Zerlos, and the Kylarnatian colony of Flanders. President Cranico made the announcement earlier today while speaking to an assemblage of WESPAC military officials at the WESPAC Joint Base Alobordo. The ceremony was to mark the sixth year since the establishment of the organization, a six years that have seen rapid military buildup on the part of the Union and extensive efforts to repair a Union ravaged by war.

Citing recommendations made by Crontorian Minister of State Alan Suderity, Cranico made the decision quite easily he said, noting, "As a president, my main mission is to preserve the safety and security of the Union, its citizenry, and our commitments regionally, including as a member as the Western Sondrian Pact. That mission requires me to make tough calls day in and day out, including one I am about to make, similar to one I made several weeks earlier regarding the nation of Rephesus. It was recommended to me by the Ministry of State that we immediately withdraw all embassy and consulate staff from the nations on the continent of Alkharania. This includes any and all Union embassies in the nations of the Ditorstate of Titianicia, Zerlos, Mahdah, Unilisia, Tiami, and any Kylarnatian holdings. Orders have already been given for all staff to evacuate and destroy any confidential documents as they depart for civilian airports for flights back to the Union. As these nations are not on particularly friendly terms with the Union, we have not been granted nor are expected to be granted the right to land military aircraft to rescue our citizens."

"I no longer feel," Cranico continued, "that these nations are friendly or welcoming to citizens and diplomats of the Union, and fear for their safety among the governments of that continent. Recent announcements about positions over the continent of Alkharania further signal to us here in the civilized world that the entire continent has fallen to...lesser individuals."

Cranico went onto state that he felt fundamentally uncomfortable with Union citizens even vacationing on the continent of Alkharania, noting the terrorist insurgency in Mahdah, the war in the Ditorstate, and recent overtures made by the Imperium. Most notable from the Imperium came the announcement that Caesar Silvier had declared herself Empress of the continent which was met with great fanfare by Union comedians and late night TV hosts, who openly mocked the new Empress. Although Cranico implied distaste towards the announcement in his speech, only Supreme Commander Rockepeller has come out openly and stated vocal opposition to the move.

Speaking on an interview with the UBC earlier today, Rockepeller said the following, "...And so I was on my way back from Cuat overseeing the transition of Euphran into the Union and I get this call from Crogden, and he says 'Rockepeller, check the papers, you got a new boss', and well I did, and behold, link from the Sondrian Regional News Network to the Kylarnatian Imperial News Network or some bullshit, and its some article about how Silvier was just crowned Empress of Alkharania, simply because she has something north of 85% of the total landmass."

Reich Expresses Disdain Over Union Embassy Withdrawal: Relations Steadily Declining

The Empyreal Court openly mocked the Union Embassy withdrawal this afternoon as court members convened for the third straight day. Many court members called the withdrawal "childish" and "Stupid". While harsher words were said, the SRNN has strictly forbidden say use of words, as to protect children from reading such profanity. Even the Crown Regent, Adriana, expressed her concern over the withdrawal. An advocate for Union-Imperium relations, the Crown Regent was notably concerned about the meaning of such withdrawal and what the future would hold for the two regional powers.

Imperium-Union Relations have suffered a downward trend for the past few months. As it stands, the boiling point is fast approaching. What happens is far beyond the imagination of most Alkharanian citizens. Some citizens cite war, other say nothing will happen. Nevertheless, since the increasing militarization of both sides, the two have looked notably towards becoming the regional superpower. While the numerical and economical advantages are clearly held by the Imperium, Adriana warned that Crontorians were not to be trifled with, noting that Crontorians were renowned for their battle-hardened demeanor. Adriana was heard saying, "For what it is worth, should both sides finally face off in the field of battle, I do not think for one second, would there be any decisive victory. Both sides are attuned to war, one no more than the other. Let us hope that we do not inherit such useless banter and bloodshed."

The Crown Regent is expected to make a formal appearance tomorrow evening at the Chateau Villona to discuss the recent happenings between the Imperium and Union.

Ithera Quel: Well, as part of the entire festival, my tour will be introducing New Samarinda's first high speed railway, underwater. The rail connects Pitoir with the other Capitol zones in order to build a more united New Samarinda.

Lukas Denyshy: By golly! That is very interesting. Will you be travelling in a special luxury car on this new rail?

Ithera Quel: Well, the council insisted since the Destrahunt is about me.

Lukas Denyshy: Very interesting. With an event like this, do you believe that much of the populace forgets the rich history behind it and just adore the celebration? Is there a middle-ground?

Ithera Quel: I would definitely say there is a middle ground. In our nation of two, it is easy to see that a minority of the populace disregards the historical significance, but for the most part, I believe that the festival holds true to its roots.

Lukas Denyshy: Now, on a more serious note. Do you believe there will be any disruption in this years tour?

Ithera Quel: Disruption?

Lukas Denyshy: Its not exactly a secret, we are a news network. All of New Samarinda has noticed the recent build up of arms in neighboring nations, even nations on Hellas and Alkharania. Do you believe the tour will need to be cut short due to any...disruptions?

Ithera Quel: I would hope not. Such a festival deserves peace. I assure you, nothing is the matter. They are just becoming paranoid a little. That is all. New Samarinda is by no means in any threat, and this tour will go on.

Happy Destrahunt!

Continuing on Ithera Quel's tour among the Provinces, we will most likely see bigger and better extravaganzas. So far, she has stopped in the Capitol district of Lyegtan, and Deves. Both welcomed her with open arms, and dazzling firework displays. Now, as we know, Ithera has her own unique personal style of choice. As always, she dazzles the audience no matter what, and these two stops were no exception. She was reported to be wearing a shorter black dress made of feathery material for the stop in Lyegtan. For the second stop in Deves, she was wearing a dress that resembled something of a fish net, but wrapped elegantly with the colors of the ocean. Now for those of you who are not accustomed to the fashion trends in Veruntia, what she was wearing is typical of all citizens. Nonetheless she was wearing the brand Pitoir and Company Clothing, which is this year's sponsor. Her next stop will be the Capitol District of Awet, and then she will be moving onto the joint Capitol District shared between Tinuska and Ceruck. It will be interesting to see her last stop, because of the reported protests in and around the two provinces. Hopefully all will be well. That will then wrap up the tour around New Samarinda. However, if speculation is correct, Ithera Quel will be flying out to The Republic of Karesia, the State of Kh'mar, and the Republic of Sarin to begin talks on new economic policies between New Samarinda and its southern neighbors. If all goes well, Ithera hopes to form an economic coalition of sorts, similar to commonwealth status. Along with economic support, she says she would also give out military and political support to the nations below. Major Anti-Insurgency Operation begins with 6th Imperial Army deployment.

Kurdīyah, Nasiriyah In the early afternoon on January 22 the beginning phase of Operation Shining Path was initiated. Elements of the 6th Imperial Army had begun deployment to several cities across Nasiriyah known for large terrorist infestations. The war on terrorism in Nasiriyah had started a month after the defeat of the rouge military junta that took power in Nasiriyah. A large amount of the former Nasiriyan Armed Forces had been killed in the conventional fighting that had lasted for three months before surrender was imposed. The 6th Imperial Army had been the men and women that were sent across into Nasiriyah to take over the country and now became it's protectors from radical sects of Islam. Kurdiyah was one of several cities in the country to see a large presence of Mahdavianl Imperial Army forces looking for Al Hafa insurgents.

Fighting in Kurdiyah had begun an hour into the operation with insurgents shooting automatic weapons at a army convoy. The northern half of the city was then alive with insurgent activity as Mahdavian forces in the city pushed fourth. Casualties for the soldiers were low. Al Hafa casualties have not been yet confirmed but are expected to be high as fighting still continues in Kurdiyah with several insurgent compounds had been raided by mahdavian forces.

Other cities known for Al Hafa activity such as , Al Buwayḑ , Ghardūgah and Asharneh-Alghab are also included on Operation Shining Path. The Sixth Imperial Army officials have reported that the Operation is having much success and Insurgent resistance is moderate. The Operation is said to be lasting for the rest of January and possibly into early February. Updates on Operation Shining Path to be reported when given.

Union Embassy Bombed; Cranico Calls For Regional 'War on Terror'

UBC: Vienna- Shocking news out of the United Empire today as reports surfaced that the Union Embassy Complex in Aleniako, the capital of the United Empire, was hit by repeated suicide bombings with casualties in the hundreds. The Union Embassy Complex which also serves as the local SRC headquarters and office building was brutally attacked by a series of truck bombs. No group has yet claimed responsibility, but United Empire and Union intelligence forces have named the prime suspect as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Sondria, also known as RAFS. This is the third such attack in the past month against Union and SRC targets. Two weeks ago the headquarters of the SRC’s Office of Sondrian Development at the SRC was struck by a suicide bomber and earlier this week a Crontorian National Police field headquarters in far eastern Vrontor was struck by a car bomb.

The Union Embassy Complex in Aleniako serves the Luso-Cron Union with bureaucratic and diplomatic capabilities with the United Empire and was recently expanded to allow the addition of several SRC buildings which were requested by the SRC. Despite heavy security, a standard feature of any Union embassy, a coordinated attack managed to punch a hole through the defense into the main facility. A trio of suicide bombers driving trucks packed with explosives managed to launch a coordinated attack against the embassy. The first truck managed to destroy the local security barricades around the embassy, which has received threats in the past. The second punched through the hole to decimate the embassy wall which allowed the third truck to strike the actually main embassy center, with the blast enough to cause significant damage to the SRC building that sits next door.

The scene is still very active, with local security forces and detachments of Crontorian Federal Military Police from the complex barracks keeping the entire area secure. So far, death estimates are well into the hundreds. A joint press conference given by the Crontorian Ministry of State and the United Empire’s official ambassador to the Union today in Vienna declared the total death toll to be; 9 local security officials, 127 embassy staff, 14 SRC staff, and the Union ambassador to the United Empire, Sasha Grey. The total death toll of 151 makes this the deadliest embassy attack in Union history.

Speaking today at the Union Federal Building, Minister of State Alan Suderity called for increased security measures at Union embassies and foreign establishments across the region in response to the bombing. Similarly, the Ministry of State issued a travel warning for all Union citizens abroad that they face a dire threat at the hands of foreign terrorists. All non-essential Union personnel operating in nations of ‘high risk’ are immediately advised to return to the Union.

“Those who wish to do our great region harm,” Suderity said earlier, “are looking to strike at central pillars of Sondrian wealth and power. By striking the Union and the Sondrian Regional Council, are enemies are hoping to destroy the very institutions that the region looks up to for strength and security in times of need. We cannot allow the scourge of the earth, cowards who would use terrorism as a tool rather than political discussion, to dictate how we, as a nation and a region, conduct ourselves.”

President Cranico also spoke on the subject before a joint session of the Imperial Congress, noting that, “For too long in the region of Sondria, we have largely tolerated the existence of terrorist groups. These groups exist in many forms and follow a wide range of ideologies. But they do share one important characteristic, they are enemies of the Union and they are enemies of Sondria. I come before you and the greater region today, not a Crontorian, not as a member of the Union, but as a Sondrian, tired of the catastrophic influence that acts of terrorism have had on our region and committed to making a change.”

“Names like the Beblian Democratic Liberation Front, Al Hafa, and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Sondria should not incite ideals of freedom and liberty. These groups want the opposite. They want to destroy everything that hardworking people like Sasha Grey worked to build and defend. We cannot let Sasha Grey’s memory die in vain. That is why I propose a regional war on terror. As far as the Union is concerned, from this day forward, any and all terrorists are enemies of the Luso-Cron Union and Sondria as a whole. You will be hunted down and destroyed for your crimes against the civilized world.”

“For those nations actively supporting terrorists, such as the Axis of Evil centered around the nations of the Republic of Rapturia, Karein Alesia, and the Reichstate of Rawneij, give up the members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Sondria and you shall not be destroyed. If you refuse, prepare for the full force of the Union and her allies to be brought upon your traitorous nations. As Optimus Prime once said, ‘At the end of this day, one shall stand, and one shall fall.’ Thank you.”

Following the address, Supreme Commander Crogden announced from the Crontorian Military Pyramid that the Union’s Northeastern and Eastern Commands would be mobilized to deal with any potential threats against the Union; from both terrorists and conventional actors. Despite questioning from reporters, Crogden refused to answer if military action was being considered against the Axis of Evil. Crogden simply stated that every option was being looked at before leaving for a meeting with President Cranico.

BREAKING:United and Union Forces Invade Karein Alesia

Sondria is officially on high alert as two of the regions' largest powers announced today the invasion of Karein Alesia, a small dictatorship ruled by Anthony Cockepeller, one of the most notorious men in Sondria. Karein Alesia resides on Alkharania, where The United Empire, specifically Tiami, influences the continent at will. The Union holds the small region of Yooaii, only a few dozen kilometers from it's mainland Hellas. With the Union Broadcasting Company's earlier segment, the Regional War on Terror has officially begun.

The invasion comes at a time when the Union Embassy to the United Empire in Aleniako was hit by truck bombs. The two nations believed responsible, or for harboring The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Sondria, the organization both sides believes to be held responsible, are The Republic of Rapturia, Karein Alesia, and the Reichstate of Rawneij. Executive orders by Adriana Veronqiue, one half the Empress of the United Empire, has called for immediate action; either surrender the harboring terrorist, or face military actions.

Last night, Supreme Commander Oliver Melton, high general of the Alkharanian Armate, announced that the nation, Karein Alesia, had been invaded. There was further confirmation of the invasion when a picture was leaked online, as shown above. Crontorian Military Command is also expected to have landed via naval transport in the country.

Reports have arisen that more than two million service men of the United Empire Forces were mobilized for the invasion. This is the largest Alkharanian force mobilized sine the Alkharanian Civil War only a few short years prior. The two million men also represent the first mobilized forces of the United Empire to be mobilized since it's conception just months ago.

Adriana Veronique met with the Empyreal Court and the nation today to give a brief statement on the Alkharanian Invasion:

The attacks on our Union Allies in the United Empire were catastrophic. Such attacks should not go unnoticed. Because of the innocent lives lost and the refusal of Karein Alesia and it's associates unwillingness to cooperate, Alkharanian armor was mobilized. As I speak to you, my people, the United Empire and the Union are forcefully annihilating terrorists across Karein Alesia. Their leader, Anthony Cockepeller is a high priority leader. We capture him, we end the Alesian war. I must joyfully say that the Sondrian Regional War on Terrorism has finally begun. May we see to it that peace is restored. Thank you.
