Nagorno-Karabakh, a disputed territory located in the South Caucasus and is international recognized by Azerbaijan, has been a longstanding area of contention between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The recent conflicts have resulted in significant changes to the region's demographics and political control.

On September 19, 2023, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale military offensive in Nagorno-Karabakh, resulting in a decisive victory and the disarmament of the forces of the ethic Armenian Republic of Artsakh. Political Firestorm Erupts Over Contract With Norway

Tamara - A scene of political theatre unfolded Friday on the Parliament floor. The Chairman of the Parliament, Žaḱub Ramont́i (SD), was seen visually confused as a measure, which was authored by his coalition, failed as the New Socialists (AS) joined the opposition in opposing the measure.

What was initially anticipated to be a routine parliamentary proceeding swiftly transformed into a battleground of ideologies and economic interests. The last minuet revision of a shipbuilding contract with Norway, a deal viewed as pivotal for Agausia's economic trajectory, became a lightning rod for a clash between political factions.

In Agausia any foreign company that wants to do business with a public and nationalized company must have the contract approved by the national parliament. In 2016 the Norwegian shipping company, Odfjell SE, began negotiations with the Agausia to produce and install specialized parts for three small tanker ships.

The installation was due to occur in Port Ǵrmabmé, but after the years of delay the plans were stalled further and further. In October of last year, when the port was delayed for another two years Odfjell demanded that the Agausian side renegotiate the original contract.

Finally, earlier this year the contract was finalized and sent to parliament for its approval. The original terms of the contract, from the 2018, indicated that nearly 80% of the work was to be done by Agausian public and nationalized companies, with the remaining 20% designated for private companies. The new contract however split the work between the public and private companies 70% to 30%.

When the contract was put before a vote in parliament the vote came in 70 MPs voted in favor, 71 MPs voted against. The New Socialists jointed the opposition and four members abstained from voting.

Chairman Ramont́i expressed his disappointment and frustration at the turn of events, and Social Democrats wasted no time in accusing the New Socialists of setting the coalition up for failure. The contract had received approval from the sole New Socialists MP on the Committee for Foreign Policy and Global Integration, Toma Mikélviči, who voted in favor of advancing the legislation.

On the opposing end, AS leader Pelisâ Ṕet́rosâni defended their stance, asserting that the contract's alteration favored private entities over the nation's own public industries. She argued for a stronger emphasis on nationalization and maintaining the originally intended 80-20 work distribution in favor of nationalized companies. Ṕet́rosâni also argued that a committee vote should not be equated with a floor vote and maintained that no act of political treachery had occurred.

On their part, the Norwegian company stated that they will be willing to revisit negotiations but added that the clock is running for the Agausian side.

The, Imperial Institute of Meteorology (I.I.T) has done a Haunting Prediction in it's Weekly Report Yesterday, The Cyclone 'Erna' will hit the Western Coast in the Coming Few days or as Predicted, by 5th August.

SANTUBONG-The Ministry of Security through the National Assembly (DUN) has approved some new regulations for the old city of Santubong which will be used from next year.The new rules that will be used later are as follows:
1.Visitors who want to visit the old city are prohibited from bringing prohibited items such as liquor and pork and for female visitors must cover their heads with a scarf.
2.The speed limit for the highway around the old city is reduced to 70 km/h
3.the missionaries were forbidden to enter the old city
4.Sungai Jaong Jamek Mosque will be guarded by the Santubong City Security Unit

ELEKTRAZ REGISTERED IN RAZENLAND

Gorinsk - A new company - ElektrAZ - has been registered in Razenland by the national government.

The Director of the Ministry of Transport, Uladislau Zakarin, confirmed a new automotive plant focusing on the manufacture of electric cars would follow, both for the export and domestic markets.

Razenland has incredibly little infrastructure to enable charging of electric vehicles, but Zakarin pledged to begin a programme of installing charging equipment nationally so that vehicles could be charged readily in city streets.

“This solution might be an imperfect fit in a rural setting, but we can clean up our cities and towns by renewing our commitment to public transport - including by producing new electric buses to go alongside our trams and trolleybuses - and by offering to the home market the possibility to buy and run a cheap electric car,” he said in a statement during a session of the National Assembly today.

Some dissident Assembly Members accused Zakarin of “fantasy”, saying that “Razenland is about as ready for the electric car as the electric car is for the rough roads of Razenland” - but generally across the chamber there was a gentle murmuring of support for the launch of the ElektrAZ brand.

“In this country we do not talk of ‘net zero’,” Zakarin continued, “but we do make realistic pledges and commitments to our environment, about which we care very much. We love trees. We love water. Police in the northern city of Takutairoa are conducting inquiries after a man armed with a butter knife robbed a convenience store whilst entirely nude from the waist down.

The assailant has been described as "actually I'd rather not describe it to be honest. It was awful. You couldn't look away from it, his junk was just there the whole time, staring you in the face."

CCTV footage shows a masked man, fully covered from the waist up, brandishing a butter knife and demanding a case of beer, a pack of cigarettes and a copy of Rehuan Gardening Enthusiast magazine, which the evidently shocked clerk handed over.

Witnesses to the scene described their shock and terror.

"My son is absolutely traumatised from this! He's been wetting his bed and having night terrors ever since he witnessed the robbery!" said one woman. "He's only 32 years old!"

While public nudity is not a crime in Tangatarehua, the man will face charges of aggravated robbery and possession of a weapon.

In lieu of any ability to recognise the assailant's face, police in the area are urging members of the public to "send us pictures of your genitals" in order to be ruled out of the inquiry.

Hemi Kauri, the chief of the Takutairoa Prefecture Tiakitanga [Police Department] has strenuously denied that the request for pictures of genitalia is motivated by anything other than a genuine desire to catch the culprit.

SOUTH REGION MOUNTAINS GET NEW DIGGERS FOR WINTER

As the first snow falls on the South Region mountains of Razenland, the winter fleet of diggers are being sent up the treacherous roads in support of all those car and truck drivers who use them to get in and out of Razenland.

The roads can be famously perilous with snow drifts, flooding, potholing, rockfall and occasional road collapse among the significant challenges to users.

Every year, the Government supplies a number of additional diggers to help to keep the roads in good order. Razenland-built tractors, excavators and bulldozers are serialised with the numbers 1 to 9 according to their size and power. The biggest tractors allowed on the mountain passes are T8s, while X6 excavators and Z6 dozers are the largest plant permitted.

During the summer a number of locals are retained as plant operators in often old and worn out diggers. This year the supporting fleet is made up of entirely new vehicles, built of course to the traditional designs.

Snow has also threatened the coast of the Far North Region, signifying that it is time for the rest of Razenland to prepare for winter.

The Palestinian-Israeli issue started with the provocation on the day of Sukkot which was started by the Israelis themselves on October 8 and has continued until now. Tavšesapari - Thursday morning a spokesperson for Sergei Sumleni announced that the Social Democratic MP, representing Aḱlos’ third district, would be resigning from his seat effective immediately. This announcement came seemingly out of nowhere and no reasoning was provided as to the MP’s decision behind abandoning his seat.

On Friday Sumleni, now officially a former MP, released a statement online explaining the reasoning behind his decision. The statement, addressed to his constituents, began:

It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that I must announce my resignation from my position as your Member of Parliament. This decision has not been taken lightly, but circumstances beyond my control have led me to this point. On October eighteenth, I suffered a devastating loss with the passing of my beloved brother Ṕit́er Âḱobiže Sumleni. His sudden departure has left a void in my life that cannot be filled, and I am compelled to take some time away from the responsibilities of public office to grieve and support my family during this difficult period.

Politicians from across the political spectrum have sent their condolences and regards to Sumleni and his family. President Aioviḱara also has reportedly visited the former statesman and his grieving family at his residence in the city of Ḱvenitsëḱali.

This vacancy will trigger a by-election sometime in late November or early December. There have been rumblings and rumors that the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Regional Development, Tourism and Local Economies will scheduel the election for November twenty-fifth to coincide with the upcoming local elections.

Sumleni had represented his former district, Aḱlos’ third, since he won it in a by-election in 2015. The election was called after a car accident which resulted in the death of former MP Luḱa Pedrovi (AL). Since flipping the district in 2015 Sumleni had always faced tough reelection campaigns against any Agausian Liberal opponents. The outcome of this by-election, together with the upcoming local elections, could be a bellwether for the governing coalition.

Dunedin City Councillor Celia Wells-Bader is tabling a controversial motion which will put before the Mayor tomorrow morning.

The motion involves putting the idea of renaming Dunedin's iconic Union Square to Kotahitanga Square. 'Kotahitanga' means unity, or togetherness in Te Reo Māori. Wells-Bader believes the move will "encourage Dunedin's residents to acknowledge the Māori suffering that went into the recolonisation of Drongonia, and Dunedin in particular".

If the motion is approved by the city's Mayor, Liz Braithwaite, the council will vote on the proposal later this week, as public records show the Council's schedule is lighter than usual. If the idea is approved by Councillors, the Dunedin public will have 30 days to present submissions regarding the change. National submissions will be open, but submissions of those living within the City Council area or those with a connection to the city will be weighted against those of others, in accordance with Local Government guidelines.

In the midst of some outraged locals calling on central Government to intervene, Local Government Minister Donald Wood told TVDG that while he thinks renaming the historic landmark "would not be appropriate", he said that "as long as the DCC [Dunedin City Council] follows the due process in terms of consultation and fair notice, it is their decision to make".

Dunedin CBD Business Association Chairwoman Kelly Price said her organisation "has been a bit blindsided by the idea" but believes the local businesses will support the change "if there is local appetite for it". Peeni Horata, head of the non-profit Māori Drongonia Group, said he was "thrilled with the idea" and hopes that "this brave move will spur more Drongonian cities and towns to start giving due respect to the Tangatawhenua that once inhabited their land".

Union Square was given its name in 1963, following the signing of the Wellington Pact in 1962, which saw the formal end to hostilities between Drongonia and New Zealand following the 1950 war and resulting split. Prior to 1962, the site was locally known as "the Square" and officially retained its pre-war name of "Central Square". The idea of renaming the square isn't new, however - with proposals being floated as far back as 1994, when the name "Ōtepoti Square" was floated, but did not make it past the consultation stage with a majority of locals being against the idea.

Head of the Dunedin Archives, Clive Greenwood, told TVDG in an interview that any name change would be "devastating" to the area's local history. Greenwood said that "the significance of the English name shouldn't be lost on anyone - Drongonians and New Zealanders, including many Māori on the New Zealand side, fought and died in a bloody conflict, and the name symbolises the end of that as well as moving forward."

The vote is expected to take place on Tuesday and the results will be published on the Dunedin City Council website, as well as in the Southern Times newspaper.

1: THE CULTURE AND HISTORY

Tangatarehua is one of the oldest civilisations anywhere in the world, dating all the way back to the year 270 BC. Because of its relative geographic isolation, the nation has developed a unique culture rarely found anywhere else in the world and is one of the most prominent Polynesian cultures in the world.

The nation is full of ancient temples, buildings and palaces - some dating back tens of thousands of years while the nation has a long, storied and fascinating history that comes to life at every turn.

Meanwhile, the people are extremely polite and will always go to great lengths to help travellers, despite the language barrier and culture shock. This is because of a concept called manaakitanga, loosely translated as "hospitality", which lies at the heart of Rehuan culture - the belief that the way to show prestige and honour is by bestowing love and care upon your guests and putting the needs of others before your own.

2. THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

Despite being an industrialised country of over 30 million people, Tangatarehua is an extremely clean country. The air and water are pure and protected by strict regulations, the nation has thousands of hectares of protected green spaces and even in the major cities, litter is extremely rare.

Rehuans believe in a concept called kaitiakitanga or "guardianship" - that the environment is a sacred treasure to be guarded and handed down for the next generation. Protecting the environment is seen as something sacred in Tangatarehua and is a core part of the beliefs of Tikanga Wairua, the state religion. Most would never think of polluting or littering (and indeed, littering on a city street is highly illegal and could instantly net you a $20,000 fine).

Tangatarehua also has one of the most extremely diverse landscapes and climates anywhere in the world, ranging from the tropical beaches of the northern Ikame nga Maramara islands, to the snow-capped peaks of Maungapuia and Maungamakariri, the dense rainforests of western Marangawhenua and the cold, dry semi-deserts of eastern Motumakariri.

3. SAFETY

Tangatarehua is one of the safest nations in Greater Dienstad or indeed anywhere in the world, with extremely low rates of violent crime.

The nation is constitutionally pacifist, having renounced war altogether in 1979 following the horrors of previous wars that devastated the country and has since embarked on a neutral, diplomatic foreign policy that emphasises soft power and peace.

As a nation, Tangatarehua abhors violence in all forms and has extremely strict laws banning firearms, swords, spears and even knives and compared to other nations, crime is almost unheard of.

That's not to say that there aren't pockets of problem areas, as Tangatarehua does have an underbelly of organised crime however for tourists and most people in general, you're extremely unlikely to encounter crime or danger in Tangatarehua.

4. IT'S A SHOPPER'S PARADISE

Tangatarehua has one of the largest retail sectors in the world and the second largest in Greater Dienstad. Tamaki in particular is full of all kinds of shops, from traditional Pakihi Kaiahu (small owner-operated stores) to large department stores and international chains.

You will find things in Tangatarehua that you will not find anywhere else in the world, including local fashion, handcrafted jewellery and traditional Maori garments such as Korowai. Meanwhile, a favourable exchange rate means that Tangatarehua is quite a cheap place to shop until you drop for many travellers.

Of particular fame is Taimana, a department store located in the Whangatonga district of Tamaki (with another branch in Wharekorana). Taimana is the nation's largest and oldest department store, dating back to the year 1695 and is considered a must-visit location for any trip to Tamaki.

5. TANGATAREHUA IS OPEN TO HEDONISTIC PLEASURES

Given its isolation and the uniqueness of its culture, Tangatarehua has very different standards of public morality compared to western nations influenced by Judeo-Christian-Islamic traditions.

As such certain vices that are typically illegal in western countries such as drug use, gambling and prostitution are completely legal in Tangatarehua with only minimal regulation.

Obtaining pleasure is considered perfectly natural in Tangatarehua provided you aren't harming other people. If you want to go to a casino while completely naked, hire four hookers and then spend the rest of the night in an opium den - legally, no one is going to stop you.

It should be noted that while Tangatarehua is more permissive in some aspects, it's less permissive in others: For example, while it's not illegal, the nation is still not culturally accepting of LGBT+ lifestyles. The nation is also extremely hostile to violence - so while a child could easily rent a pornographic movie if they wanted to, violent films are frequently banned by the government.

6. IT'S A SPORTING NATION

If you love sports and you're looking for a thrill, Tangatarehua is the nation for you.

Tangatarehua is a popular destination for extreme sports from skiing and snowboarding in the mountains, to surfing violent waves at the beach, to bungy-jumping off skyscrapers in Tamaki. Whatever gets your adrenaline pumping, you'll find it here.

Conventional sports are also very popular - especially rugby union, with the national rugby championship drawing in thousands of spectators including the Empress herself, who is known to be a fan of the sport.

Despite the general antipathy towards violence, martial arts are very popular in Tangatarehua. Mau Rakau is a traditional Maori martial art and if you've ever wanted to learn it or see it in action, you'll rarely find it outside of Tangatarehua.

7. THE FOOD

Tangatarehua has some of the best food in the world and no trip is complete without sampling the local cuisine.

While some dishes (such as dog and whale meat) might not be to the tastes of many foreigners, there are few things more enjoyable than the earthy taste of a traditional hangi. Tangatarehua, being an island nation, is never short on fresh high quality fish and there are dozens of kumara (sweet potato) recipes dating back thousands of years to the days when kumara was the staple of the national diet.

A very popular Rehuan food export is Waipiro Kumara or Sweet Potato Vodka, the national drink and a traditional way to start or end any meal or feast.

8. THE WILDLIFE

Tangatarehua's isolation has given it a biodiversity unlike that of anywhere else in the world.

In the warmer months, the coastlines are surrounded by whales (the national animal) and dolphins and there are countless opportunities to get up close with these majestic creatures.

On land, Tangatarehua boasts creatures considered extinct in other parts of the world or very unique variations on other animals. The Keko or Rehuan Monkey is not an uncommon sight in the forests of the warmer northern parts of the nation and is a very commonly kept pet.

A very popular animal in Tangatarehua is the Moa - a giant, ostrich-like flightless bird that sometimes tower as much as two metres tall. The island of Rangiwhero also boasts a small population of Thylacines (Tasmanian tigers), while the mountains of Motumakariri feature the rare (but dangerous) Rehuan black panther.

Finally, the nation is also home to the Kura or Polynesian dog as well as the Rehuan singing dog - a close relative of the New Guinean singing dog.

If you're curious about Tangatarehua's unique wildlife then Rakipa zoo hosts all of the aforementioned unique animals and is very popular among international visitors.

9. THE FESTIVALS

Tangatarehua doesn't have public holidays - it has holiweeks, once every season, in which the entire nation gets a week or more off. Visiting Tangatarehua during one of these festival periods will always be a unique and memorable experience and certain places in particular are the perfect destination in certain seasons.

Te Whakanui i a Rehua: The festival of Rehua, usually held sometime between March 21 and April 1 to mark the autumn equinox and the appearance in the sky of the star Rehua (for whom the nation is named), in the constellation Scorpio. The weather is usually mild and dry at this time of year and is when people get together to party and get drunk before winter comes - and the best place to do that is definitely the Tamaki waterfront, which boasts hundreds of bars, clubs and restaurants.

Hakari o te Takurua: The feast of winter, held in the last week of June to mark the winter solstice (Tangatarehua is in the southern hemisphere). The tradition is similar to Christmas in western nations and involves gift-giving and a traditional meal of roast pork and kumara. The best place to be at this time of year is Kaitohura, which celebrates with its annual snow and ice festival - featuring large ice sculptures, ice skating and bright lights throughout the city to bring some winter cheer.

Te Whakanui i a Puanga: The festival of Puanga, usually held in the last week of September or first week of October to mark the arrival of spring and the appearance of the star Puanga (in the constellation Orion). At this time of year Tangatarehua is awash in pink and yellow, as cherry blossoms, daffodils and Kowhai trees come to life. The Kowhai (meaning 'yellow') festival in Wharekorana is very worth visiting at this time of year, with the city's famous botanical gardens awash in vibrant spring colours.

Hakari o te Raumati: The feast of summer is held in the last week of December and usually lasts until January 2nd. While summer can sometimes be unpleasant in parts of Tangatarehua due to the arrival of the monsoon and hurricane season (known locally as "Romata raumati" or "summer tears"), the best place to be is Whakaara where the imperial guards and ladies of the palace frequently stage large public spectacles such as haka. It's also the one time of year in which it's possible to catch of a glimpse of the nation's reclusive Empress, who usually appears on the balcony of Whakaara Castle on New Year's day to give her annual address to the nation

10. THERE ARE FEW TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS

Because Tangatarehua is a neutral, pacifist nation it welcomes citizens from all nations to its shores, provided they have a biometric passport.

You don't need a visa - just turn up and you're automatically entitled to stay for as long as you want, provided that you do not accept employment, purchase property or use public services such as schools or hospitals.

City Council to Discuss Proposal to Ban Traditional Earthen Overns

Dačrili - Just west of the city of Romda, you will find the city of Dačrili, which is home to just over eighteen thousand people. In recent years, Dačrili has experienced an alarming increase in residential and commercial fires, with over fifty-seven fires in the city directly attributed to the use of traditional outdoor ovens.

These outdoor ovens, known as Ḱerebi in Agausian, are small and partially dug into the ground, constructed using stones from the nearby Lečûm mountains. Local legend has it that cooking on these stones provides natural health and spiritual benefits. In the Tsënt́ri region, a local economy has even emerged around the craft and construction of these earthen ovens.

On Tuesday, the Dačrili city council, consisting of eleven members including ten council representatives and the city's mayor, announced their intention to deliberate on a measure that would ban the use of Ḱerebi within the city limits on residential properties. This measure would also establish a licensing board for Ḱerebi used in hospitality and services within the city.

Mayor Art́ur Gurgenovi (AL), who supports this legislation, emphasized the need for action after a recent devastating fire last month that destroyed several buildings and claimed two lives. This fire was caused by an unattended Ḱerebi outside a local café. He stated, "These careless actions have not only drained Dačrili's already limited funds but have also taken lives. We must take steps to protect our citizens."

Mikai Svani, a local third-generation Ḱerebi sculptor, expresses concerns about the potential impact of the ban on his business and the cultural heritage of the city. He said, "While I do operate throughout the region, the majority of my business is here in the city. If I can't work within the city, I fear for my family's legacy, and we risk losing a significant part of our culture." Svani shared these thoughts during our visit to his shop in the small village of Rovsela, located just outside the city.

However, not everyone disagrees with the ban's intentions, and there is a legal precedent for such a measure. The city of Romda, closely connected to Dačrili, implemented a complete ban on these ovens in 2009, with the exception of licensed restaurants and cafes. The city council in Dačrili is looking to use Romda's decade-old ban as a model for their own legislation.
