Coalition Struggles Amid Rising Black Sea Tensions
Author: Adam Vasilčuḱi

Tamara - The ongoing saga of the coalition government has taken another convoluted turn as the nation grapples not only with its response to Russia's heightened Black Sea aggression but also with a plethora of simmering internal fractures that have been festering beneath the surface.

Amid Russia's ongoing two-year incursion into Ukraine, the government's diverse makeup has sparked a clash of viewpoints. The Social Democrats, United Alliance, and New Socialists have taken a firmer stance against Russia, however never directly confronting Moscow's actions nor openly supporting Ukraine. In contrast, the Farmer's and Green's Union are championing a pragmatic approach, prioritizing economic considerations to protect the nation's agricultural exports in the lucrative Russian market.

At the outset of the coalition's formation, these differing viewpoints were managed within the context of somewhat effective governance. However, as Russia's provocations increase and complex geopolitical factors become intertwined, the coalition's delicate balance has been seriously shaken. The imminent threats Russia poses to Agausian cargo ships navigating critical maritime routes have forcefully brought issues of national security and economic stability to the forefront.

Highlighting the tension, last week two members of the committee for national security, defense and public order spared over their views regarding the current situation in the Black Sea. "Our commitment to international norms and solidarity remains unwavering. We cannot let aggression go unchecked, for the sake of our own nation's security and the stability of the global order." Said Sanо́ Žažamâ (SD). Giorgi Gamkvevi (PMK) replied saying, "While we acknowledge the importance of standing against aggression, we must also recognize that our farmers and Agausian families rely on stable economic conditions. Balancing both security and prosperity is a complex task that requires careful consideration."

Within the Agausian Parliament, members aligned with the Farmer's and Green's Union are orchestrating a maneuver to compel their coalition counterparts to engage in direct negotiations with Russia. Their primary motive is to procure an ironclad commitment to safeguard the maritime passage, a lifeline for their agricultural exports. Conversely, coalition partners who are resolute in their muted-Russian stance are opposed to such diplomatic overtures to Moscow, citing concerns of compromising the nation's values and geopolitical integrity.

Number plates to run out by 2025 - new style coming
Christchurch, Drongonia

exactly when. Photo // File

A rather mundane part of daily life is set to change *slightly* in 2025, according to a joint press release from the Ministry of Transport and the Drongonian Transport Agency.

The DGTA, the Government agency responsible for managing the licencing and registration of the nation's fleet of vehicles, has raised the alarm that the current well of number plates is running dry.

The current '000AAA-999ZZZ' plate scheme was introduced in 1995, accompanying the 'AAA000-ZZZ999' scheme in use since the late 1970s and still sees the occasional reissue. These two number plate styles, with approximately 35,150,000 available combinations between them, have been the mainstay of Drongonian roads for almost 50 years, alongside the lesser-seen 000000-999999, AA0000-ZZ9999, and 0000AA-9999ZZ combinations. Under the current five approved styles of plate, nearly 50,000,000 combinations are available. This is not accounting for the three, four and five-letter personalised plates also registered.

That may sound like plenty for a nation of just over 35,250,000. However, it must be considered that not only do light vehicles and trucks have to be registered, but also trailers, motorbikes, and certain military equipment. The Ministry of Transport says it was able to delay the inevitable new plate style by at least five years by legislating proactively in the 1980s to allow reuse of deregistered combinations, as well as surrendered personalised plates, which were introduced in 1989.

The new plate design, which will not differ in font or physical plate size from the current ones, will take the form of 0000AAA-9999ZZZ, which allows for over 175,000,000 possible combinations. It is expected that the production of the first sets of plates will commence in 2024, with the distribution beginning "whenever demand requires", according to the Drongonian Transport Agency.

The Ministry of Transport said that the decision not to revert to letters-first was to avoid "the inevitable game of whack-a-mole while exempting plate combinations", likely referring to the amount of inappropriate words which would be generated with a AAAA000-ZZZZ999 plate scheme. This problem would be compounded by the ever-changing vernacular of the younger generations, who could turn a once-innocuous word into something with a more inappropriate meaning.

The decision is somewhat inconsistent with those made by the Ministry and DGTA in the past, however. For example, number plates sporting words like 'CUM' and 'SEX' can be seen on the roads, although drivers are entitled to substitute plates like these for another at any time during the vehicle's registered life. Similarly, a Dunedin man went to court in the 1990s over his government-issued HH1488 number plate, which the city council said was inappropriate to display on his vehicle. He ultimately won the case, arguing that he was simply given the plate in accordance with legislation and had no choice but to drive it. DGTA Records also show that the plates 1488HH, SS1488, 1488SS are all active.

The new plates will be distributed to dealers and compliance centres before being publicly issued, the DGTA has said.

Tensions with Iran!

By Juliana von Schmitt

Today, The Ministry of External Affairs reported that the Islamic Republic of Iran had rejected proposals for Peace and the Administration had taken the decision to deploy the 8th Fleet to the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman to protect Marchant shipping to Kuwait. The Ministry of External Affairs has also decided to advise the Prime Minister to sanction Iran. This comes after the Crisis in the East and the Iranian threat escalate the situation in the Middle East, resulting in the deployment of many Provincial Forces and the 7th Army to Iraq and Syria to combat the Insurgency on behalf of of the Republic of Syria and the Republic of Iraq.

Thousands of Workers Laid-Off as ESSIA Economic Evaluation Paints Economy In Bad Light

Stock Prices plummeted today at the ROSTEX.
Pictured above is the "House of Wealth" in Rome,
the Headquarters of ROSTEX.

With the most recent ESSIA Economic Evaluation, the Economy has lost 118 out of 400 Points, rating the state of the economy at 282 Points, causing widespread lay offs of "Non-Essentisal Personnel" by many businesses which is further leading to economic difficulties. With the Supply of Oil disrupted by the Crisis in the East and International Shipping further disrupted by the Emergency declared in Egypt, Stock Prices of many companies have plummeted leading to a widespread economic panic spurred by exaggerations on Social Media of the severity of this crisis. With the large Refugee Crisis also at hand, the economy is not in a good condition. To combat this, the Administration has conducted an Investigation into the Economic Disruption Caused by the Crisis in the East and released updates on it. With the Large Welfare State created by Former Prime Minister Adrianos now under the control of Prime Minister Evangelos, the Administration has decided to Lower Financing Services costs and subsidize Healthcare and Energy. The Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs has though announced that Trade has only increased as Anagonia one gain becomes's Imperia's largest trading partner and Trade Relations with Krow-Bock are set to be established once again. Mnay major Corporations such as Pandora, announced revenues of %40 Billion. This Faux Crisis has also led to the acquisition of much smaller competitors by Larger Corporations, increasing their market share to monopolistic levels. This could cause an alveoli of controversy, especially with Imperia's Anti-Trust Policies in place which would warrant the breaking up of major conglomerates or significant Government Sponsored Acquisitions in the Private Sector. VERITAS's Financial Correspondents reported that the Rosasrio-Rossi Group has put up offers to acquire many Vineyards in France, Spain, and Italy as well as has plans to ship products to many Cornucopco Supermarkets by the end of August, a am inion goal. The Same Group has positions in Royal Orient Cruise and the Lyon Hospitality Brand, known for having ownership of multiple premium Brands. This is juts an example of the many Monopolistic Acquisitions undertaken by large and medium sized companies, increasing their own marketshare which would double or triple some of their profits after the Economy Recovers. This has caused many in the Public to view this as a ploy by large corporations to be able to increase their own profits, eliminating the competition, and take advantage take of the subsidization, sparking outrage within the many Workers unions, now needing to reorganize after the recent acquisition. Further Politicizing this, the UWPLC (United Workers, Populist and Leftist Coalition) has decided to bring up the matter of Monopolies in Parliament with many with Socialist Sympathies vouching for the breakup of major Conglomerates such as the RR Group, Groupe de Garner, and Francesco Bianchi Capital. Lawsuits have already been filed over multiple property disputes and own the Breakup of Monopolies, with Corporations also fighting over land from the Eastern Crisis, Leading to Government Intervention in the form of Lawsuits on Corporations on the Ethics and Morality Act of 2023, coincidentally recently Signed by the Prime Minister.

Administration Polls At All Time Low!
24 August 2023
By Hanz Hermann

Today, the Monthy Political Poll conducted by VERITAS correspondents, found that the Executive Administration of Demetri Markovic Evangelos has seen all time lows with many Imperians seeing the Administration in bad light due to the Crisis in the East and the Trade disruptions with the Administration's term starting off at a positive note with the Liberty Accords but taking a downward course as the Economy is down by 118 Points in the ESSIA. Currently only about 84% of Imperians are satisfied with the Adminisatraion's work with about 68% of Imperians willing to vote for Evangelos if a Snap Election were to occur. The Evangelos Government's escalation of tensions with Iran have also led to backlash by both the Iranians, many Leaders in the Mediterranean Union, and many Elected and Influential Officials of the Imperial Government. The Conservative Majority Leader, Marcus Patrizio stated in a statement to Conservative Party Leaders that "It has been disappointing what the current administration has done to our nation. We had high hopes for Prime Minister Evangelos but it seems, just like Adriano, Demetri too is not fit to lead our nation." These serious allegations come after the Prime Minister Reportedly dismissed 15 Conservative Governors of the Overseas Territories and removed the Board Members for the Government in the Board of Directors of United Financial Corporation, Citizen's Financial, and the Public Finance Corporation. The Conservative Party as well as the Republican Party of Imperia and the National Front have take a position of opposition against the Government with 10 Conservative MPs requesting an investigation on the Prime Minister on Nepotism and Corruption, which have been promptly dismissed by the Praesidium as they determined that the charges were baseless. Nevertheless, the Prime Minister's ratings are at an all time low.

Ambassador sets off for Hudstia
by Světlana Jedličková
Monday, 28th August 2023

At 10am on Monday, ambassador Patricie Vlčišťová left Nová Praha international airport on a plane headed for Columbus, Hudstia. The ministry of foreign affairs of the People's Republic of Hussija had negotiated this month for the establishment of an embassy in the second-largest city of the North-American nation, and Hudstia even became the second nation to establish its own embassy in Hussija, after the Union of Frokolia.

Hudstia is a capitalistic country located on the east coast of North America, and is governed by its military since the 2010 Patriot coup. The self-proclaimed Stratocratic Federal Republic had nevertheless managed to establish eight embassies abroad, and Nová Praha now hosts the ninth Hudstian embassy. However, the agreements between Hussija and Hudstia extend beyond the building of embassies: both countries are poised to sign an extradition treaty and permit visa-free travel between each other, and they have agreed to sign a non-aggression pact.

"These agreements are a testament to the success of Hussija's non-partisan diplomacy", has declared foreign minister Pavla Veselá. "Hudstia may not agree on much with us, but they are a rising power in our continent and we should recognise that they're not going anywhere any time soon". Some delegates at the National Assembly criticized the agreements, such as the ex-leader of the Hussijan Workers' Party and delegate of Jukatán state, Milan Čapek: "This regime represents everything that Hussija is not: unrestrained markets, military rule… thank God we didn't sign a free-trade agreement with them!". Still, most delegates supported the move by the ministry of foreign affairs to pursue its "opening up" policy with capitalist economies across the world.

Both president Kučera and foreign minister Veselá attended ambassador Patricie Vlčišťová's departure this morning. President Kučera echoed Pavla Veselá's statements about Hudstia, citing how the People's Republic of China greatly benefited from its own "opening up and reform" policy towards the capitalist world. "We have nothing to gain by making enemies abroad", he said; "on the contrary, we have everything to gain from expanding our diplomatic reach".
The People's Republic of Hussija stands as a united Hussite socialist country in Central America.
The Party for Socialism and Salvation leads this Christian workers' state since 1975.

Same-Sex Marriage

Postby Priosia » Mon Aug 28, 2023 3:40 am

Big news in the Kingdom of Priosia as the national parliament finished their week-long debate on the legalisation on same-sex marriage. The final vote was 83 votes 'For', 5 votes 'Against' and 2 votes 'Neutral' meaning that as of 28/08/2023, same-sex marriage is legal according to Priosian Law 3427. This is a big step for our great nation. This law may only be being introduced now, but homosexuality has been widely accepted in Priosia for many decades.

For further details please contact the Governmental Offices of the Monarch of Priosia (GOMP).

Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act Passes Congress
Wilmington, Delaware
Published On: 28 August, 2023 | Authored By: Andrew Cohen

The proposed Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act passed with a supermajority in both houses of Congress, heading to President Vukovich’s desk to be signed into law. President Vukovich already indicated that he would sign the bill into law at his most recent press conference, guaranteeing that the proposed bill would be enacted into law. The Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act, or FILAFA, places further restrictions on lenders, loan servicers, and counsel during the lending and foreclosure process, and is meant to build off the already existing Fairness in Foreclosure Act and Fair Debt Collection Practices Acts passed after the 2008 Recession.
Image
Tighter Restrictions await Lenders as the
Fair Lending and Foreclosure Act heads to President Vukovich

The first major facet of the Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act strengthens regulations on residential and commercial property loans. Under the Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act, lending agencies operating the Federated United States will be required to obtain Federal Lending Licenses under the Act. In order to obtain a Federal Lending License, lenders will be required to apply under the Multistate Licensing System. Lenders will be required by law to obtain the Federal Commercia Lending License in order to issue commercial loans, and a Federal Residential Lending License in order to issue residential or conventional loans. Failure to acquire either or both, under the statute, will result in sanctions against the lending agency, including and up to the dissolving of the lending agency and the assumption of the loan by the Department of the Treasury. Loan servicing agents, or entities that service loans on behalf of a lender, will be required to obtain a Federal Loan Servicing License, which has Commercial and Residential versions as well, with failure to obtain and maintain a license carrying penalties up to dissolution of the servicing agent. The last major component of the lending facet mandates that loans guaranteed by any public bank, such as the National Bank or any of the State Banks, are nontransferable and cannot be sold to private investors.

The second facet of the Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act is the protection of borrowers in the foreclosure process. Under the Act, lenders or their servicing agents will be required to issue a Federal Pre Commencement Notice prior to proceeding with the foreclosure action, which will be required to outline the nature of the default, available remedies, and a list of federal, state, and local resources available to the borrowers. The Federal Notice will further include a loss mitigation packet that the borrowing party may complete and submit to the lender or servicer to explore potential cures without proceeding to foreclosure. Furthermore, the Act mandates that federal notices must be served to the borrower by a locally authorized party, such as the County Sheriff or Bailiff, and the lender or servicer must receive a completed Affidavit of Service from the court appointed officer. Federal Pre Commencement Notices will also have to be registered with the Department of Housing prior to the initiation of the foreclosure lawsuit. After serving the notice, there will be required to be a sixty day cure period before the lender can proceed, after which the servicer, lender, or outside legal counsel will be required to initiate the foreclosure lawsuit within 150 days of serving the initial Federal Notice.

Apart from centralizing the pre lawsuit phase of the foreclosure process, the Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act creates additional protections for borrowers during and after the process. The Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act also mandates that in the event one or several borrowers pass, the lender and/or servicer cannot pursue any foreclosure action for a minimum of 1 calendar year following the date of death. This same rule applies to borrowers who are employed with the military or as an emergency worker, with foreclosure actions being prohibited for a minimum of 360 days from injury, death, or release from active duty or emergency service. The Act also mandates that the lender and/or servicer is prohibited from pursuing damages more than the total worth of the foreclosed property, should the value of the property fall short of the initial mortgage loan given to the borrower. Furthermore, the Federal Emergency Homeowner’s Assistance Program, or FEHAP, is created under the Act, which will be available to provide emergency assistance to the borrowers in the form of zero interest loans to be used to cure a maximum of one default per fiscal year. Lastly, the Act creates the grants available for public or low cost housing for the States, if the States enact likewise policies.

Prior to the Fairness in Lending and Foreclosure Act, the processes had been largely left up to individual states, which to their credit, had maintained fairly rigid systems of their own. However, after the Great Recession in 2008, the sale of mortgage loans from the original bank to investment firms has become increasingly more common. Furthermore, this large scale transfer of loans from banks to investment firms has also lead to the rise of loan servicing agencies, who collect and manage loans on behalf of the lenders and investors alike. As such, the decentralization of mortgage loan management has resulted in a general lack of federal regulation, which the Act aims to amend. The Act, in general, has been widely supported by the Republicans and Bull Moose Progressives in Congress, being initially written by Republican MP Ibrahim Ali, representing Alderney’s 4th Parliamentary District. In contrast, the more conservative leaning Democrats have vehemently opposed the bill, contending that the loan servicing industry should be left to the States to regulate, which Democrats argue they already do proficiently. However, as Republican and Bull Moose politicians have pointed out, regulations vary greatly from State to State, meaning that borrowers in certain states may not enjoy protections in place for borrowers in other States.

Redefining Local Elections: Right's Pivotal Litmus Test
Author: Ant́oni Leǵvi
Tuesday, August 29, 2023

Image

Romda - In the lead-up to November's local council elections, a strategic maneuver by right-leaning parties may be redefining the narrative. Positioning the upcoming vote as a pivotal reflection of public confidence in the incumbent government's policies. Amidst polling data that shows a narrow margin, with a collective of right-leaning parties polling at 52% while a collective of left-leaning parties stand at 48%, political recalibrations and heightened anticipation characterizes the pre-election landscape.

Employing a precisely calculated approach, the opposition has sought to paint the elections as an indirect endorsement or critique of the current government's performance. However, the ultimate efficacy of this strategy remains uncertain, leaving it to be seen whether voters will adopt this perspective and view the elections as a litmus test for government policies. However, recent polls indicate that Agausia's two largest parties the Social Democrats and the Agausian Liberals are virtually tied. The former being in government with the latter being the main opposition party.

Critics of this narrative shift stress the inherent focus of local council elections on grassroots concerns, spanning topics such as community services, infrastructure, and local development. Shifting the discourse towards evaluating national government performance risks overshadowing these crucial localized considerations.

Meanwhile, the government and other left-leaning parties are striving to pivot the conversation towards the specific duties of local councils and their tangible influence on citizens' immediate lives. By underlining the significance of addressing immediate community needs and involving residents in decision-making processes, they aim to balance the sway of the confidence vote narrative.

Among political analysts, differing viewpoints abound regarding the potential outcomes of this strategic realignment. While polling statistics indicate a slim advantage for the right-leaning parties, the eventual results will be shaped by a myriad of factors, encompassing voter turnout, localized concerns, and the efficacy of campaign tactics.

As voters weigh their options, the nation watches with anticipation to discern whether the right-leaning parties' endeavor to reinterpret the elections as a test of confidence will resonate with the electorate or if citizens will prioritize matters particular to their localities. An approach founded on analytical insight, devoid of sensationalism, elucidates the impending local council elections as a reflection of public sentiment and a tribute to the intricacies of political messaging.

Rebel group's branch leader agreed to lay down arms following negotiations

Vans Region, West Kamilistan Region, Kamilistan
Tuşba New District Office, Tuşba District of the Vans Region in Kamilistan
12:10 P.M

Tuşba - A new, brighter hope for the people of the Vans region of Kamilistan after the surrender of the leader of the rebel group. A week ago, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Hazmez met with its leader Eymen Abdullah Gorvuyev for the first time since the National Kamilistani Free Army was formed in the early 2010s. Eymen and his general were present at the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Hazmez, the head of the Vans Regional Police Commission, the commander of the West Kamilistan Regions and Provinces and the KODIS Department.

Eymen, the "Southern Armed Forces Department Commander for the NKFA", is the head of the Southern Armed Forces and the "Vans National Regional Council under the Free Kamilistan Territory", a de facto provincial government under the control of the NKFA. From 2010 until recently, the Vans region has always been the stronghold of the NKFA. After the election in which Bashkar became prime minister, plans were carried out to unite the remaining rebel-held group with the first ethnic armed groups in Kalsakia, which proved successful.

At 12:30 p.m., Eymen and Deputy Prime Minister Ahmed Hazmez signed the "Declaration on the Unity of the Free Territory and Government of Kamilistan", a treaty that would unite the once rebel-held regions. Crowds of people were seen celebrating all over the Vans regions as calls for a new future for the nation echoed through the region.

"I am happy to be reunited with my brothers and sisters, now we have a greater hope," said a shopkeeper in Tusba New District.

Refusal of Imam Nawawi's 40 Hadith Comprehension module is a superficial act of knowledge
1.09.2023•FRIDAY

KUCHING-The non-Muslim community needs to be more open-minded towards the implementation of Imam Nawawi's 40 Hadith Appreciation module in schools across the country.
Senior Fellow of the National Council of Professors, Professor Emeritus Datu Fedrick Thomas A.K Jambi, said this is because it is clear that the module is only targeted at Muslim students and teachers, and does not interfere with the understanding of non-Muslim students.
"It is very clear that the government intends to use the module for Muslim students and those who object to this should first refer to the content of the hadith because what is contained is only the teachings of the Qur'an that were spoken to the Messenger of God and not additional teachings created at will.

"If it is referred to, this teaching has existed for a long time and only advocates good things, which is love for one another, advocates the excellence of Islam, distinguishing between good and bad and such things are to cultivate a better moral character among Muslim students and pupils. So is there This is what we want to talk about and protest?"
he told DHN reporters

The Ministry of Education Sarawak Darulhana (KPSD) on 31 August yesterday, launched the hadith module aimed at fostering the appreciation of hadith starting at the school level, among other things to foster a spirit of love, in addition to applying religious understanding, especially among students and teachers of the Muslim religion.

The module's pilot program will be implemented in 561 National Religious Secondary Schools (SMKA) and National Secondary Schools (SMK) and 228 Government Aided Religious Schools (SABK) throughout the country.

Although it has been explained that the implementation of the module is only for Muslim students and teachers, it has become a polemic, especially among non-Muslims, thus giving rise to various speculations.

Among those disputing the implementation of the module is the Sarawak Democratic Party even though its ally in the Darulhana Alliance (PDH), the Sarawak Islamic Party, supports the introduction of the hadith in schools across the country.

Fedrick said, if the module succeeds in building good morals among Muslim students, it will indirectly affect the non-Muslim community and thus prosper the country.

He also described the action of those who protested the implementation of the module that will be expanded to schools under the KPSD next year, as a "superficial act of knowledge" because they do not know the community in Sarawak Darulhana which is multi-racial and religious very well.

"This shows that we in Sarawak Darulhana don't know each other and when we don't know each other, we understand, there will be feelings of suspicion until there are objections like this.

"Actually, non-Muslims should not worry because the Constitution has made it clear about freedom of religion in this country and all religions can be practiced peacefully, so let's not be quick to lash out but rather strengthen the nation-state formation process so that we understand each other," he said.

"It is not something that can be forced and the purpose is only for Muslim students, so why are we triggered?,"
she said who works as a local newspaper reporter in Kuching.

At the same time, the Iban woman suggested that the matter be explained further to non-Muslim students at school so that they know that the module is dedicated to Muslim students and do not feel confused that it is a new subject that is compulsory for all.

"If possible, hold this class at a different time, for example after school hours because this will not cause concern for the parents of other students,"
she said, who has a Form Four and Year Three child at a school under KPSD.

The module is also certified by the Ulama Council of Nusantara, the National Fatwa Council, the Sarawak Darulhana Islamic Religious Council, the Sarawak Branch of the Rasulullah Council, the Tabligh Akbar Council and various other Islamic NGOs.

MP's Remarks Spark Debate on Government Cooperation

Tamara - What should have been a routine press conference from the Chairman of the Committee for economy, budget, and finance, took an unexpected turn when MP Lazlov Lomaâ (SD), representing Tamara's seventeenth district, was engaged in a candid conversation with Irina Mikailovi, a reporter from the Gazarianis Gazeti - a local Tamara paper founded in 1912. The discussion centered on the ongoing challenges within the Agausian parliament, specifically the deadlock on critical issues like unemployment, inflation, and the underfunding of public services.

Mikailovi's pointed questions touched a nerve as she inquired about the parliament's inability to address these pressing concerns. She also raised concerns about the apparent inability of different political factions, particularly those in the coalition, to work together for the benefit of the nation.

In response to Mikailovi's queries, Lomaâ, while maintaining a measured tone, did not shy away from placing responsibility on other parties in the coalition. "It's essential to acknowledge that we have faced numerous challenges in parliament," he acknowledged. "While many have consistently pushed for solutions to these critical issues, we have been met with resistance and obstruction from other partners."

Lomaâ continued, "It's disheartening to witness political maneuvering and a lack of willingness to compromise on matters that affect us daily. The blame doesn't lie solely with any one party, but it is clear that certain factions within the coalition need to reassess their priorities and work more constructively."

"Agausians deserve better than this constant gridlock. It's time for all parties involved to recommit themselves to the common good and put aside their differences."

Lomaâ concluded the exchange by reiterating his party's commitment to finding solutions and extending an olive branch to other coalition members. "I implore our coalition partners to join us in this effort. Together, we can overcome these challenges and deliver the progress our nation desperately needs."

The press conference concluded with Lomaâ's call for greater cooperation within the coalition, but it was clear that the blame game was far from over. As he stepped away from the podium, the question of whether the various parties in Agausia's coalition government could set aside their differences and work together for the nation's betterment remained unanswered.

Postby Anarchic States » Sun Sep 03, 2023 7:47 pm

The Anarch Man has been confirmed to be real after he was recorded stopping romanian terrorists and shown massive power. it seems like in time the anarchic states will have the most powerful weapon of all. the robot appeared to look like a cyborg with an "S" on its chest however its unknown what it stands for. many are worried that this "Anarch Man" will take over EAS but the government assures its under control of them. many question, hoe far is too far in this quest for power and the strongest WMD.

Current goings on in the empire:

The government violently suppresses separatist movements, minorities play dumb to get more welfare payments, religious leaders order congregants to love any neighbour who is just like themselves, and news headlines usually include p-values. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Chancellor Ryan Responds to PCEP report, Opens Door for Legislative Reform

Monday, September 4th, 2023

Osto, Lessovik - The office for Chancellor Abigail Ryan released a statement in response to the recent report published by the Presidential Commission for Ethical Practices (PCEP), opening the door to possible legislative reforms and potentially hampering her party's legislative agenda in the Federal Senate.

The report in question, released by President Michaels' on Friday, is the result of a months-long look at the conduct of various aspects of Ostaji public functions, and is considered a potential framework for future routine inspections to ensure government integrity. The report was largely mundane, with no major citations of government officials or systems. However, a follow-up report, added in the weeks following the start of the legislative session, has highlighted concerns from the commission over the effects of single party governance on the federal level. The report states, "...in light of the demonstrated potential of a single party majority by the Second Federal Senate, it is the opinion of PCEP that a lack of checks on a single-body legislature at the federal level could be used to the detriment of the liberties of the Federal Republic." PCEP's membership includes individuals associated with each of the five major political parties in an effort for political balance, and the passage of the report required three-fourths passage. The report further highlights recommendations to add checks on the Senate, including a higher vote threshold, increasing the number of rounds of voting required to pass a bill, and requiring multi-party support on bills.

For the Ryan government, this could mean the end of a very productive period in the Federal Senate. Since the Federal Union Party (FUP) took an outright, slim majority in the Senate and pushed out the Sovereignty Party from its coalition, the legislature has passed a series of major pieces of legislation, including the Rural Weatherization Act, protections for labor unions, an increase in the federal minimum wage, and an expansion of the public healthcare and welfare systems. The FUP has been operating with a five-seat majority, meaning that very few votes can be ignored and few hurdles in place to advance their agenda. Requiring an increased vote threshold or multi-party support would have doomed several bills already passed this session.

Nevertheless, the Ryan government campaigned on a platform of public transparency and ethics, and the Chancellor's release shared an openness to PCEP's recommendations. The Chancellors has proposed to introduce a legislative requirement to have a bill either "have at least one (1) senator support from a party different than the bill's primary sponsor or pass with a fifty-five percent (55%) vote threshold". This proposal would be the most favorable compromise for the FUP, given the Vice-Chancellor of Defense, Aleczander van der Brand, is a Sovereignty Party member, all but assuring his vote on defense bills advanced by the government. Ryan's preference to reach out to other parties historically will likely aid her future endeavors as well, but two months of laborious, FUP-centered policy making may have muddied the waters of bi- or tri-partisanship.

Other parties will also have the chance to put forward rules for debate. The Sovereignty Party, the largest of the opposition parties, has already proposed more rigorous rules, hoping to restrain what part leader Ashlyn Tyler has characterized as "tyranny by majority".

Decision ’24: First Major Debates, Primaries Held
Westmoreland, Ohio
Published On: 8 September 2023| Authored By: Jamie Davison

Amauritan Voters are preparing to head to the polls in several states next week as Presidential hopefuls gather in Westmoreland, Ohio, for the first major Presidential debate of the 2024 Election season.
Image
Voters are Gearing Up for 2024 Elections

The 2024 Presidential Election will be the 61st quadrennial election for the Presidency of the Federated United States. The four major Parties are set to hold the first Primary Debates in Westmoreland. At the same time, the first Primary Elections are set to be hosted in Iowa and Carolina, which will determine how many Party delegates each candidate will carry to their respective convention next August. Traditionally, primary elections are indirect, with primary voters electing delegates who pledge their support to a specific candidate. The Presidential Election is also an indirect election, where voters elect delegates to represent their State in the Electoral College. A presidential candidate is awarded one electoral vote for every Parliamentary District they win in each State, with the candidate receiving an additional three electoral votes if they win the popular vote in the State as a whole. The Electoral College convenes on the first Saturday in December. Although electors may vote for whomever they prefer, Electors generally vote for the candidate that carried their district or State. The incumbent President and former Republican Governor of Ohio, John K. Vukovich, has already been reelected in 2020, and is not eligible to run for a third term.

Voters and parties alike are focusing on a plethora of key issues in the 2024 elections, including the economy, infrastructure, foreign policy, and suspected attempts to interfere in elections within Amaurita and fellow allied nations.

As the incumbent President, Mr. Vukovich, is not eligible for a third term, many hopefuls in the Republican Party are aiming to take his place. Among those running include current Vice President Heidi Buchanan, who was first elected as Vukovich’s VP in 2016 after serving as an MP from Oklahoma between 2009 and 2015 and is the current frontrunner. Trailing close behind her, however, are the former Governor of Jersey, Chris Murphy, as well as Senator John E. Timmins of Carolina. Other Republican hopefuls include Brian K. Cox, Governor of Georgia; and Doug Boyd, Governor of Dakota. The Republican Party’s platform blends progressive conservatism and populism with strict interpretation of the Federal Constitution. Virtually all of the Republican candidates have vocally endorsed the policies enacted in the Vukovich, including regulating financial sector, investing in public infrastructure and growing partnerships with fellow member nations in the Federation of United Nations.

Aiming to ensure that their losses in 2016 and 2020 aren’t repeated, the Federalists are gearing up for a long and arduous campaign season. The current Federalist frontrunner, J.B.A Pritzker, has served as the Governor of Illinois since 2019 and is the former chairman of the Pritzker Group. Pritzker isn’t the only major Federalist candidate, however, as Senator Joseph Proiett of Vandalia and former Senator Francis R. Carney of Alderney have both thrown their hats into the ring. Governor Esther G. Reisig of Huron has also declared her candidacy, although has trailed behind the other Federalist candidates according to a recent poll conducted by AmauriPolls. The Federalist Party’s philosophy is dominated by progressivism and liberalism, as well as supporting a loose interpretation of the Federal Constitution.

The Bull Moose Progressives have largely been the underdogs of the Columbia for several election cycles. Nonetheless, the Party is still preparing to take on the Republicans and Federalists in the general election. The frontrunner, Senator Elizabeth W. Herring, has represented the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in the Senate since 2013, and has garnered a wide base of support from her fellow party members. Deborah M. Kaplan, a Kalinea based activist and teacher, is also in the running, polling directly behind Senator Herring. The final major Bull Moose candidate, Michael A. Steinberg, is an attorney from Flaurita and has served in the Flaurita State Parliament between 2015-2019. The philosophy of the Bull Moose Progressive Party’s platform blends progressivism and loose constitutionalism with the Amauritan anti-socialist labor movement.

The Democrats, eager for a chance to seize control of Columbia for the first time in decades, have rallied around Tom DePietro, the current Governor of Flaurita. Governor DePietro, however, has faced primary challenges from Indiana Governor Edward Cawley and Ohio businessman Vivek R. Ganapathy. The Democratic Party is the most prominent conservative faction in Federal politics, blending economic and social conservatism with strict constitutionalism. The Democratic Party has agreed to form a coalition with several smaller conservative political factions, including the Salvationist and Amauritan Solidarity Parties, forming the Coalition of Amauritan Patriots. The center oriented Unionist Party has also formally announced its intention to field candidates in the 2024 Election as well, with the party primarily rallying around Susquehanna MP Addison Clopton.

Romda Experiencing Severe Bus Shortage
Author: Lečkumi Baksolâni
Sunday, September 10, 2023

Image

Romda - Agausia's second-largest city, home to over one hundred and fifty thousand people, faces a severe public transportation issue due to an insufficient number of buses to fully operate services. The problem lies not in a shortage of drivers but rather a scarcity of buses. This has resulted in stranded passengers, unemployed workers, and overworked buses.

The situation in Romda has grown increasingly dire as the city grapples with its public transportation crisis. Over the past few years, the city has become synonymous with long waits at bus stops, overcrowded vehicles, and commuters desperately trying to make it to work on time. However, the root of the problem lies hidden beneath the surface - the city government's crippling debt.

For Marâ T́ḱbileulisši, a lifelong resident of Romda, the struggle has become a daily ordeal. She has always relied on the city's buses to commute to her job as a nurse at Tsëminda Prantsësḱe Hospital. Lately, her morning shifts have turned into a nightmare. She is forced to wake up even earlier, hoping to catch a bus with enough room for her. Most mornings, she stands shoulder to shoulder with her fellow commuters, her scrubs becoming increasingly uncomfortable with each passing minute.

Meanwhile, at the heart of the transportation crisis, bus driver Sara Marioni is at her wit's end. The constant strain of driving an overworked bus is taking a toll on her. The city simply cannot afford to purchase new buses, and the maintenance budgets are stretched to their limits.

Last month, Sara spoke out at a regional council meeting. "We need more buses," she pleaded. "I've seen passengers wait for hours in the rain, in the dark, and in the blistering heat. It's not fair to them, and it's not fair to us drivers who have to deal with this every day. We're all suffering."

The city government and the mayor's office, well aware of the crisis, have been trying to find a solution. However, their hands are tied by the massive debt that has plagued the city since its declaration of bankruptcy in 2017. The national assistance that has been keeping the city afloat is barely enough to cover essential services, let alone invest in a new fleet of buses.

As the transportation crisis continues to grip residents, there is little hope that a solution can emerge before their city's already fragile infrastructure crumbles further.

Hussija celebrates 50 years since the start of the Revolution
by Jakob Pospíšil
Thursday, 14th September 2023

In a display of unity, pride, and resilience, the People's Republic of Hussija commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Podzimní Pole uprising, which kickstarted the Hussijan Revolution (1973-1975), with an unforgettable celebration that left a lasting impression on all who attended. The capital city of Nová Praha witnesses a grand spectacle, showcasing the remarkable journey of this nation over the past five decades.

The Hussijan military held a parade in Nová Praha, departing at Andrej Havlík street and arriving at the National Assembly, with a stop at Revolution Square in between. Planes from the Hussijan Air Force also carried out flyovers of the capital. Groups from each of Hussija’s cultures followed as part of a civilian parade, showing the full diversity of the Hussijan people and their unity as one nation.

President Silvestr Kučera gave a powerful speech at Revolution Square, highlighting the heroism of the revolutionaries, while also stressing that the Revolution is still ongoing and that Hussija must not lay down its arms until the complete defeat of capitalism. The president also invited veterans from the Revolution who had served under Andrej Havlík to witness the parade from the balconies in Revolution Square alongside him.

Dignitaries from across the world also attended the festivities in Nová Praha alongside President Kučera, such as Karsten von Auffenberg, the Union Chancellor of Frokolia; the Brazilian President Giovanni Riccardo Porciuncula, Han Soyeon; the Foreign Minister of the Great Kingdom of Joseon; Gustav Gustavovich, the leader of the DPR of Gustavovich; and Theyman Ford, the President of the Republic of Hudstia. The presence of many foreign delegations from countries with different ideological backgrounds highlights the recent successes of Hussija’s non-partisan diplomacy, embodied by Foreign Minister Pavla Veselá, and the People’s Republic’s commitment to peaceful coexistence and cooperation with countries of all beliefs and ideologies.

Following the parade across Nová Praha, foreign delegations and veterans from the Revolution will be invited to the presidential palace and treated to a banquet, with specialities from every culture from our People’s Republic; during which state television shall broadcast documentaries about the Revolution and comrade Andrej Havlík. In the evening, the President’s guests will be invited to the National Theatre, where the revolutionary play In the name of the People will be performed. Finally, after a second banquet featuring dishes from the countries of each delegation, a grand fireworks display shall be held at the old port.

The 14th of September is a national holiday in Hussija, and as such workers across the country have a day off work today. As such, there are many rallies all across the nation, with thousands in attendance at each one. In Nová Praha alone, around 90,000 people attended the parade, and over 8 million people across Hussija are expected to have watched the official broadcast on RTLH-1 and RTLH-E, which started at 7am and will end tomorrow at 1am. On Sunday, a special mass will be held in Hussijan churches in celebration of the Revolution which restored authentic Christian values of solidarity and charity as the cornerstone of Hussijan faith, and on the 24th, the nation will once more be united in celebration on the occasion of Hussija’s National Day.

Ministerial spending under fire as many MPs claim over $1m in perks

spending reports every September. Photo // File

Several senior Cabinet Ministers and opposition figures have come under fire for alleged overspend while taking advantage of Ministerial and Parliamentary perks - including the yearly travel allowance allocated to MPs for travel between Parliament, their electorates, Ministerial duties, and party events.

The criticism comes as the Parliamentary Service released its yearly summary of MP Spending, a yearly overview of how many expenses each Member of Parliament has claimed via taxpayer funds. The summary outlined that across the 120 Members of Parliament, over $126,000,000 was spent in the 2022/23 financial year. Unsurprisingly, the highest spender was Prime Minister English, clocking up nearly $1.2m in travel expenses alone. Including other expenses such as his Prime Ministerial Discretionary allowance (capped at $960/day) and additional accommodation costs, he spent $2.9m across the year.

Other big spenders include former Labour leader Sarah Ellice, who spent $1.98m before leaving her leadership post in January this year, Minister of Health Leah Driver, who spent $1.84m, and Foreign Affairs Minister Katy Pace, who spent $1.66m. The report also highlights the most frugal MPs, including Libertarian leader Sean Davidson, who spent the least - claiming just $86,303 and not using any of his Parliamentary Discretionary Allowance (capped at $243/day).

Taxpayers are likely to see any savings in the coming years, with the size of Parliament growing to 160 from 2024, following submissions and recommendations made by the Electoral Commission regarding the electoral processes and Parliamentary underrepresentation in regional areas. Neither of the major parties has made a pledge to reduce the spending, with only the Libertarian Party making the promise to halve the Parliamentary Discretionary Allowance in its 2020 election campaign. Following its coalition with National, this did not eventuate.

Labour leader Phoebe Schofield, who spent $464,000 and was not the party's leader during the 2022/3 financial year, called the report "damning" and says the figures show "how out of touch this National-led Government is with regular people." She went on to say she would be having "harsh words" with her party's big spenders and would raise the issue at the next Labour caucus meeting. She added that "average working-class Drongonians don't have $240 of play money to waste every day, let alone $1000", referencing the Ministerial and Prime Ministerial Discretionary allowances.

Discretionary Allowances are given to all Members of Parliament, and vary depending on whether they are a Member, a Minister or Associate Minister, a Cabinet Member, or the Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Minister. Electorate MPs (referred to as Members of Parliament) are allocated $243/day, Ministers and Associate Ministers are allocated $397/day, Cabinet Members are allocated $508/day, the Deputy Prime Minister is allocated $712/day, and the Prime Minister is allocated $960/day. The allowances are generally used on food, clothing and miscellaneous purchases. The Parliamentary Code outlines that any purchases claimed under this allocation must be in relation to conducting the Member's required duties.

The report does not include security or staff expenditure, as these are paid for from the Ministry of Government Operations' budget rather than the Parliamentary Service. The report also notes that the 2022/2023FY spend is the highest inflation-adjusted spend ever recorded.

"Stories from the Capital's Representatives"

Two GRPG Alliance officials assassinated in Gisra

Federal Administrative Krauka of Gisra, West Kamilistan Region, Kamilistan
Magomedlayavarvich Boulevard, Northwest Gisra,
2:30 P.M

Gisra - The bodies of 45-year-old GRPG Alliance's Council member Omar Abdullah Abdaranov and 59-year-old GRPG Alliance's Party Branch Leader Tamaz Vadiyadze were found dead inside a 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado at 1:12 P.M at the Magomedlayavarvich Boulevard in Northwest Gisra, with around 34 bullet holes on the car's left-hand side and 14 other on the SUV's windshield.

Video footage posted online by an unknown user shows the SUV being shot by 3 unknown gunmen welding what seems to be AK-47s and a pistol, they were seen wearing hoodies and bandana as they were firing at the SUV, another black SUV, presumably the escorts were also seen being fired at, with 34-year-old Roman Navicislav being shot in the legs and chest, officials told Roman was in the Gisra Prince Hospital for treatment. The gunmen was seen leaving in a grey, Volkswagen Polo after the attack.

The Azushkov Mob, claimed responsibility of the assassination again, making them the 9th victims of the political killings on the GRPG. Police discovered that Tamaz Vadiyadze had ties with the Azushkov Mob, with locals questioning the GRPG's alliance status as a political alliance. Senior-Colonel Inspector Rustam Vazravich told press that they are currently searching for the suspects.

"We're currently searching for the gunmen of today's assassination, we will make sure these radicals would be apprehended and sent to justice."

The police also urged the public to remain calm and to report any suspicious to the police immediately.

Capital Stories, may justice be served upon the attackers.

Spanish promoted to national language status
by Světlana Jedličková
Monday, 16th September 2023

It is a day of celebration for Spanish-speaking minorities in northern Hussija, as today the Hussijan National Assembly voted to promote Spanish as a national language as part of the National Languages Act, which redefines the criteria required for a language to gain the national language status.

More broadly, this law put into place criteria for languages to automatically be promoted to the national language status. Indeed, there previously were no set-in-stone criteria for such a promotion, and the only way for a language to acquire this status was through its promotion by the Hussijan National Assembly. Since the promotion of the People's Republic of Hussija, two languages had previously acquired this status: Yucateco and Miskito, who became national languages in 2007 due to their large number of speakers across multiples provinces and the cultural heritage of Hussija linked to both languages.

From now on, languages which old co-official status in at least three provinces, or which are spoken as a first language by at at least one million speakers or as second language by at least 5 million speakers automatically become national languages, and as such receive the benefits thereof.

Spanish is spoken by 8 million speakers in Hussija (as both a first or second language) – there even is a special Spanish-speaking television channel on the RTLH network, RTLH-E – and holds a co-official status in Jukatán, Kampetše and Východní Jukatán, and will now as such gain the national language status. In fact, the curious case of Spanish is what motivated National Assembly delegates to pass this new law.

Ṕet́ranâ to Retire After Over a Decade as MoD
Author: Adrân Bčḱvâlakva
Sunday, September 17, 2023

Image

Tamara - On Friday, Agausian Minister of Defence Dumit́ru Ṕet́ranâ formally announced his intent to retire in December when parliament adjourns for winter recess. The announcement was confirmed by a ministry spokesperson on Saturday, coming at a turbulent time for the government amidst strained relationships.

Ṕet́ranâ, a fixture in Agausian politics, has held the position of Minister of Defence since 2006, making him the longest-serving cabinet member in Agausian history. During his seventeen-year tenure, he navigated the complex landscape of modern conflicts, including the Russo-Georgian War and all stages of the Russo-Ukrainian War, ensuring Agausia's security.

At the age of seventy-eight, after dedicating fifty-seven years to public service, Ṕet́ranâ's retirement will undoubtedly leave a significant void in the government and the Social Democratic party. As a pillar of the party for many years, his departure marks the first exit from Prime Minister Ermolai's cabinet. Finding a suitable replacement may prove challenging, given the existing political intricacies within the coalition government, compounded by a decline in the Social Democrats' popularity as indicated by recent opinion polls.

The successor to Ṕet́ranâ remains unknown, and President Aioviḱara has yet to make an official statement regarding the retirement. As Agausia anticipates this critical transition, the nation reflects on Ṕet́ranâ's contributions and contemplates the future direction of the Ministry of Defence, crucial in shaping the nation's security policies. The upcoming change in leadership raises questions about potential shifts in defense strategies and foreign relations, prompting close attention from both citizens and international observers.

Former President Alexandrovic laughs at court

WRYN— Former President Alexandrovic, of the Rusruni Republika [Rusrunian Republic], laughs during his trial in court on human rights. Before the incident, he was being asked of his motive for 'killing thousands' during his presidency, which he laughed after, and did not offer any answers.

Alexandrovic, President of Rusruni Republika, which is a different state and only existed for 2 years [1998-2000] was a Fascist state and ruled the nation after the civil war. He was a controversial person, and led the nation further into a much worser state than the civil war, according to multiple people. He was then coup de etat by Rusrunija Garda (not to be confused with Rusruni Garda, which was Rusruni Republika's Militia) and he was then put into house arrest for 23 years, before he was put into this international court.

Though he brought reforms that were beneficial to almost all people, he used his power to suppress his political opponents, which further angered most of his supporters, as most of them were also beaten or almost killed so "they'd be loyal to the government". During the court, multiple people begged why their families were killed by their forces, which he didn't answer.

Multiple people outside of the court protested because of Alexandrovic's acts and the major consequences it did to the nation, but also to the people. He was also criticized for his massive spending to the military, which was the only thing keeping his nation alive, but also keeping it nearly dead with healthcare, education and everything else left alone. After the court, he was then sent to death penalty, and his last words being unknown, as he mumbled something unintelligible according to investigators.

Landmark trade agreement signed between Hussija and Marajarbia
by Nora Tomanová
Saterday, 23th September 2023

In a momentous event that marks a significant milestone in bilateral relations, the People's Republic of Hussija and the Marajarbian Federation have officially signed a comprehensive treaty aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and trade ties between the two nations. The negotiations and the signing ceremony took place in the picturesque Marajarbian capital of Andreusville and was attended by high-ranking officials from both countries.

The historic treaty, which was swiftly negociated by ambassador Dobroslav Čapek and the trade minister of the Marajarbian Federation Terrence Jones, paves the way for enhanced economic collaboration, mutual tariff reductions, and the establishment of closer trade relations between Hussija and Marajarbia. It reflects the shared commitment of both nations to bolstering their economies and promoting international trade for the benefit of their citizens.

One of the key highlights of the treaty is the gradual reduction and eventual elimination of tariffs on various goods, including Marajarbian automobiles, pharmaceuticals and mineral resources, as well as Hussijan-produced consumer goods and oil and gas. These tariff reductions are expected to stimulate trade flows, encourage investments, and benefit consumers in both countries by offering a wider range of affordable products.

During the informal discussions, both parties expressed their commitment to fostering technological development and infrastructure in the Rousínov Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Hussija. The Marajarbian Federation pledged its support in developing the necessary infrastructure for the tech hub, facilitating knowledge transfer, and promoting innovation.

The signing of the treaty also holds significance in the context of Hussija's recent status as an observer state in the Collective Security League (CSL). While the treaty primarily focuses on economic matters, these negotiations open the door for CSL member states to explore investment opportunities in Hussija's SEZs and engage in mutually beneficial trade.

As both nations move forward with this historic agreement, it is evident that the People's Republic of Hussija and the Marajarbian Federation are committed to building a strong and enduring partnership that will yield economic benefits for their citizens and contribute to regional stability and development.

The treaty signing and informal agreements reached during the negotiations have set a positive tone for future collaborations between the two countries, opening doors to new possibilities and strengthening the bonds of friendship between People's Repulublic of Hussija and the Marajarbian Federation.

Aioviḱara's Health Concerns Spark Questions
Author: Danâ Ličeli
Sunday, September 24, 2023

Image

Tamara - At sixty-eight years old, Agausian President Simon Aioviḱara is not the eldest world leader, nor even the oldest member of the Agausian executive; Prime Minister Mišḱo Ermolai currently holds that distinction at seventy-four years of age. Nevertheless, President Aioviḱara has been contending with some acute health challenges.

A spokeswoman for the president confirmed that on the upcoming Tuesday, Aioviḱara will undergo a planned operation requiring anesthesia. The announcement, albeit scant on specifics, has left many in the political and public spheres with more questions than answers. In her statement, the spokeswoman reassured the Agausian public about Aioviḱara's health, emphasizing that the operation will be standard and noninvasive.

The surgical procedure, anticipated to last only a few hours, will see Chairman of Parliament Žaḱob Ramont́i (SD) stepping in as acting president. According to the Agausian constitution, the Chairman of Parliament is designated as the successor to the president should they be unable to serve, whether temporarily or permanently.

Upon Ramont́i assuming the presidency on Tuesday, the position of chairperson will be assumed by the first deputy chairperson of parliament, Isidora Čehkizdi (SD), marking a significant milestone as she becomes the first woman to wield the speaker's gavel.

Both Ramont́i and Čehkizdi have confirmed their readiness to serve the Agausian people in any capacity. Despite this, the vagueness and abruptness of the president's announcement have sparked inquiries from the Agausian public. However, it is worth noting that on the preceding Monday, President Aioviḱara was in New York for the United Nations General Assembly General Debate. Aioviḱara was one of several heads of state in attendance, where he appeared to be in good health, engaging in meetings with numerous heads of state and other representatives.
