Santiago de Ceni is in the north of Ceni and boasts a vibrant Hispanic culture with street food and restaurants galore to delight the palate. The stadium, home to Afanc Strait Superleague side Septentrional, is the largest in Ceni's north; it has a modern feel to it and is designed with the colors of the Cenian national flag in mind.

Westgreen is an affluent, suburban Ceni on the western coast of Ceni. Built very recently to be the home of a Afanc Strait Superleague side and to upgrade football facilities outside the Metropolitan Tetrad, the stadium is designed with the "park" designation in mind, featuring vertical gardens throughout the building and ring of trees between the stadium's outside and the pitch. It is even more sustainable than the Cenial Halcyon National Stadium, with net negative carbon emissions and solar panels on the roof.

Lexington is the capital of New Gelderland and home to around 2 million people. While it does function as the capital, it also serves as a banking hub and a transportation hub, with links to Electrum. Lexington's nightlife and food options will also wow visitors at night, and in the daytime, spectators can visit any of Lexington's spectacular parkland. Lexington was founded when a group of Electrumite settlers migrated into New Gelderland looking for farming opportunities, and Lexington, situated at the confluence of the Rogue and Great Rushmori Rivers, was a perfect place to sell produce and set up markets. The stadium itself usually hosts Terranean League side Lexington Victory for its home games and sometimes hosts the New Gelderlish national team. It served as a host stadium for football at the Olympics and seats 52,500.

SEASON OVERVIEW

Cednia Beach AFC - v. - Mliona-Lpaka AFC

Tivali Ring Stadium, Alikki-Corra, Vilita

The Tropical Trophy is a seasonal competition between the Vilitan Stellar Division Champions and Vilitan Cup Champions. There has been some controversy as to whether it is a "Season Ending" event or a "Season beginning" event, though it has tended to be closer to the start of the new season, then the end of the previous one.

For this seasons Tropical Trophy, the defending Vilitan Stellar Division Champions (Cednia Beach AFC) faced off against the defending Vilitan Cup Champions (Mliona-Lpaka AFC). This would mark the first time in the history of the Vilaye Energy Drink Tropical Trophy competition that two Turorian teams would face off for the Trophy title.

Starting in Season 57, Vilitan/Turorian Dual National referee Nuliko Meteorik officiated the Tropical Trophy from a press box at the Tivali Ring Stadium with a suite of action cameras and video reviews to be used in competition to a degree never before seen. The move to the press box for the head referee was in part the chance to use the Tropical Trophy as a test bed for introducing technology to the game, and partially to spare Meteorik the embarrassment of not being able to keep pace with the players many years his younger. A pair of assistant referee's were still located pitch side. This method of officiating has continued at the Tropical Trophy as well as having been expanded to the Vilitan Cup and Tropicorp Cup competitions. In lieu of a whistle, a horn sounds over the PA system at the stadium when Meteorik needs to stop play while video screens and communication with the on-field assistants as required provide further details of the infraction and its result.

Vilitan League Season 69 was a highly memorable one for the teams of the Island Emirate of Turori. While the Turorian National Team suffered the ultimate heartbreak, losing the World Cup 91 Final in a matchup they entered heavily favored to win over Rushmori side Graintfjall, the Turorian domestic clubs did not let their country down sweeping both the Vilitan Stellar Division and the Vilitan Cup titles in the same season by two different Turorian Clubs for the first time in history. As a result, it would set up the first ever all-Turorian Tropical Trophy clash as the two giants of Turorian Domestic Footsport would clash in their biggest-ever head-to-head matchup with silverware on the line.

The sides largely returned their squads from one season prior with just two major notable changes - both on the side of the Coconuts as Cednia Beach AFC goalkeeper Julius Miljeteig headed towards retirement handing the gloves over to the Hapiloppian upstart Duke Stamp. Cednia Beach AFC would also add a threatening winger in the form of Cassadaigua's right midfielder Kelsey Werth coming over from Dagan side Carthage United in the Vilitan Stellar Divisions biggest off-season transfer.

The Tropical Trophy would end up being a thrilling back-and-forth matchup though the difference in the game would ultimately come from Brookstation's Leon Michael Robes. The Brooklander would twice put the Coconuts in the lead, first in the 36h minute then again in the 76th minute to help Cednia Beach re-take the leader after an early second half free kick from Free Republican Exile Alik Khadzhiyev had tied up the game.

After Robes' second goal, Cednia Beach AFC were able to cruise to what would be their first ever Tropical Trophy Victory in their 7th appearance in the competition, breaking the Trophy's longest losing streak in history and becoming just the second Turorian club to win the Trophy after Mliona-Lpaka who had won the competition twice previously.

The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy match up. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

**First Season in Stellar Division

SEASON REPORT:
Defending Stellar Division Champions Cednia Beach AFC would get the chance to hold their Banner-Raising ceremony on the opening day of the season as they would host Jungle Strike FC at the Cednia Beach Center to kick off Vilitan League Season 70. On an otherwise high-scoring matchday in the Stellar Division, the Coconuts and Venom would play out a goalless draw that likely wasn't much of a surprise on paper. The big winner on the day, however, was Colonial Sile who would take the early lead in the Stellar Division table after a 3-0 victory over Jaguar Moreda.

Things got a little more concerning in Cednia after Matchday 2, however, as the Coconuts fell 1-0 to Rammsissil in a match that many projected to have title implications, particularly with Rammsissill having addressed their weak spot in the offseason by having acquired Brenecian netminder Cessair Meade. Though disadvantaged at having played each other on the opening match-day, very few could have projected what the bottom of the Stellar Division table would look like after four match-days of competition, with defending champion Cednia Beach and All-Time Winningest Club Jungle Strike FC occupying the relegation zone with only a single goal scored between them on the season thus far and just one point earned a piece during their opening matchday draw against each other. At the top end of the table, however, it was Colonial Sile still in search of their first ever Vilitan League title and fresh off the heels of a statement 1-0 victory over Rammsissil on matchday 3 of competition before dropping their first points to a surprisingly well performing Kionao Locals side on Matchday 4.

After a fresh start, the Ramms were sliding and it was welcome new for Jungle Strike FC who would take advantage on Matchday 5. Bastet North and Cywrenta Vlintejni were both able to put the ball past Rammsissil's new goalkeeper Cessair Meade to help Strike to a 2-0 victory, their first three point haul of the season and a fast-track ticket out of the relegation zone. Things were still not going well for Cednia Beach AFC however as the Coconuts gained the honor of being the reigning champion club that established the longest winless streak to open their title defense campaign, losing 1-0 to primary Turorian rival Mliona-Lpaka at home in Cednia much to the anger of the teams supporters.

It would take seven matchdays of competition but the defending champion Cednia Beach AFC would finally get their first win of the season at home against Eastal Lunar. At the same time, Jungle Strike FC were faltering once more falling back into the relegation zone after a 1-0 defeat at home to long-time rivals Marine Coast United. Utility player Enzoril Alabonni had the goal for Marine Coast United while it was a shutout for Graintfjaller Björnólfur Ernestisson as the Mariners moved back to 2nd in the table, leapfrogging Mliona-Lpaka AFC who were defeated in a 4-3 thriller at Canopy Gate in Seraai.

While there was great action at the top of the Stellar Division Table, with the top spots being occupied by teams like Colonial Sile, the Kionao Locals and Mliona-Lpaka, it was hard for the general fan base to look anywhere but the bottom of the table where Cednia Beach AFC and Jungle Strike FC seemed firmly planted. Even after each club recorded 1-0 victories over the Turoki Tide and Makosile United respectively on Matchday 9, they both remained in the relegation zone. While many expected the possiblity of a top-of-the-table clash between two Turorian clubs, as Turorian sides won both the Stellar Division and Vilitan Cup one season prior, few expected that match-up to be contested between Mliona-Lpaka AFC and the Kionao Locals who entered matchday 11 tied for 3rd in the Stellar Division Table. Goals from Hapiloppers Oral Roundtree and Savojar defender Fridtjof Grönberg were enough for Mliona-Lpaka AFC to combine with a Prisc Corrales shutout to take sole position of 3rd place from the Locals.

After an abysmal start to the season, many highlighted the Lonngeylin Derby between Jungle Strike FC and Lonngeylin Coast as a must-win matchup to save Strike's season - as well as a key litmus test to see if Strike really were as bad as their results indicated and whether one - or both of the two remaining Ever-present Stellar Division sides could actually get relegated from the league for the first time in their history. Fortunately for the Venom faithful, the rivalry matchup was just the right amount of inspiration in front of a packed Lonngeylin Coliseum - Strike FC scored a goal in each half to disarm the Fisherman and climb out of the relegation zone in the process leapfrogging Tropicorp FC who were dismantled 3-0 at the hands of high-flying Colonial Sile.

Just when it seemed things couldn't be any worse for the defending champions sitting at the bottom of the Stellar Division Table and having to host the league leaders, Colonial Sile. However, the Coconuts dug down deep to avoid making things any worse, and would get a debut goal from their major off-season signing, Dagan winger Kelsey Werth. The goal came after Adabian goalkeeper Satchit Chandrasekar was adjudged to have taken down Werth in a crowded penalty area while attempting to smother the ball. Werth - having struggled to adapt thus far in Turori, was relieved to tuck the ball in the back of the net from the penalty spot and Cednia Beach would hold on for a critical three points to help kick their season back into gear.

The result at the Cednia Beach Center would change not only the bottom of the table but the top as well as it opened the door for Marine Coast United to take the top spot for the first time in the season after their own 1-0 victory over Makosile United. Things were looking good for Marine Coast as the Crosaibi based club was searching for their first Stellar Division Title in 55 seasons and they would take another step in that direction with a huge victory over Eastal Lunar FC to mark the half way point of competition. Another shutout from Björnólfur Ernestisson was critical for Marine Coast United as they opened up a six-point lead atop the table thanks to Colonial Sile being held 1-1 by Inland Peaks FC. Down in the relegation watch, it was a battle between the two teams who came into the day occupying the relegation places - Jungle Strike FC and Tropicorp FC. The Venom got the difference making goal from Nua'oma Aikiki just 28 minutes into the game then held on for the win and three points as Tropicorp FC struggled without the services of goalkeeper Hanauma Ranbomahi who was busy recovering after winning an Olympic Gold Medal with the Vilitan Union. While it would leave the Techies at the bottom of the table halfway through the season, there was no clear divide in the table as outside the Top 2, no two teams were separated by more than 2 points in the table in what many were calling the most evenly matched Stellar Division field in the competitions history.

Though with all that happened during the first half of the stellar division season, it may have seemed like ages ago, the season did kick off with a matchup between defending champion Cednia Beach AFC and all-time champion Jungle Strike FC. The atmosphere at the Cednia Beach Center on that day was much different - a celebration of a "Season from nowhere" as Cednia Beach AFC lifted their championship banner in front of a packed house and both sides began their season in anticipation of making a push for another Stellar Division Title. Thirteen games later the teams meet again at the Lonngeylin Coliseum in a fight with each other on the wrong end of the table - with the winner assured of climbing out of the relegation zone. After 90 minutes of play however it was the goalkeepers day, both Wanda Kouyate and Duke Stamp doing their jobs and keeping a clean sheet. The lone point would allow Strike to move up and out of the relegation zone while Cednia Beach AFC remained mired one point deep in the hole.

Cednia Beach had an opportunity to claw out of the hole on Matchday 15 when they hosted Rammsissil - the Ramms after a strong start had found themselves just two points clear of the Coconuts and in need of a result. Eventually the match would turn into shooting practice for the Hapilopper National Team as Rammsissil's Elias Moon ended the day with 6 shots on target against fellow countryman Duke Stamp in the Cednia Beach AFC goal. Two of Moon's Six shots found the back of the net as the Hapiloppan would power their team to a 3-1 victory to give the Ramms some breathing room over the relegation line.

AFter seven consecutive seasons finishing in the mediocre zone from 5th-8th in the Stellar Division table, the Turoki Tide were beginning to make a push to try to fill in the gap left behind by Cednia Beach AFC and Jungle Strike FC. It had been a quiet march over the opening fifteen games for the Tide who were very decisive in their results - just a single draw through fifteen matches but the Cavuna Aquafek led side made a real statement with their 2-1 win over leaders Marine Coast United that allowed them to group in the championship battle, producing the first real separation of the season with a five point gap back to fifth place Kionao Locals.

As quickly as that mid-table gap appeared, however, it was gone in what some might consider to be one of the most chaotic days in the Stellar Division of recent memory. Behind leaders Marine Coast United there was not a single team who ended Matchday 16 in the same position in the League table which they started all the way down to the very bottom where reigning champion Cednia Beach AFC took a victory in the Turorian Derby over the Kionao Locals. However, it was less about the individual results and more about the totality of the sequencing that made the day so chaotic as even with the win, Cednia Beach AFC could not gain ground on safety. Despite being stuck in 13th in the table and still 2 points from safety, however, Cednia Beach did gain ground on the IFCF players pulling to within just six points of 5th position. Elsewhere it was a massive day for under-performing teams as Jungle Strike FC and Rammsissil also recorded victories - the Ramms perhaps taking the trophy of the day with a stunning 4-0 thwomping of then second-place Colonial Sile which catapulted the Ramms up five spots in the table to 7th place. Despite being held by last place Tropicorp FC, Marine Coast United maintained their position atop the table.

One matchday later and it was another solid result for Cednia Beach AFC which failed to pull them any closer to safety, a draw against leaders Marine Coast United was not enough as the Coconuts were still two points back of 12th position and six points back of 5th place and a guaranteed Champions League spot with the only change being the teams they were chasing for the slots. Just three matchdays removed from the relegation zone, Rammsissil had fought themselves up into a potential Champions League position by climbing to the top of a very dense table from 5th place on back to the end. Along with the Ramms, the Turoki Tide were the hottest team in the league earning a 1-0 victory over Makosile United to move into second place in the table just four points behind Marine Coast United at the top. The Tide's title hopes were bolstered on Matchday 18 as leaders Marine Coast United were held to a goalless draw by Satchit Chandrasekar and third place Colonial Sile.

In a season full of upside down tables and close battles, Matchday 19 offered a temporary reprieve from the chaos as it was the first Matchday that saw the majority of results go to form and every single game involved one team scoring at least one goal, and the losing team scoring zero. At the top of the table Marine Coast United broke their winless streak with a 1-0 victory that also served to knock Jaguar Moreda down from the 12th position to the bottom of the table after Tropicorp FC picked up one of the few against-form results in a 2-0 victory over Eastal Lunar. While the Marines won at the top so di their rivals with the Turoki Tide winning 2-0 over Lonngeylin Coast and Colonial Sile 3-0 over Mliona-Lpaka AFC.

While the Turoki Tide squandered a real opportunity being held 1-1 by Inland Peaks on Matchday 20, Marine Coast United's multi-game lead atop the Stellar Division table was nearly entirely erased after Jungle Strike FC's second half survival story continued thanks to Lutara Makakio's goal at Marine World Park. It left the Mariners just a single point clear of the Tide atop the table with Colonial Sile just a further three points back in what was developing into a likely three-team battle for the title. The Tide's charge would take an unexpected tunble however as Tropicorp FC looked to fight their way out of the relegation zone, allowing Marine Coast United to re-establish their four point gap at the top with Five games to play.

While the battle to see which team that hadn't won the Stellar Division in 10+ seasons would take home the title was intriguing even for the neutral fans, the battle to see which teams would get relegated were sure to intrigue even the non-sports fan as 8 teams would go into the final five matchdays within two points of the relegation cutoff including four former Stellar Division Champions and two teams that had never been relegated in the 70 season history of the Vilitan League.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 21:

The Turoki Tide would slip again on Matchday 22 behind held to a goalless draw by Duke Stamp and long-time rival Cednia Beach AFC which allowed Colonial Sile to return to the fight, level on points with the tide and six points back of leaders Marine Coast United who continued to ride the outstanding performances of young midfielder Mikele Alasita as the neared closer to a top flight triumph. Just as the season had since the opening matchday, however, the rubber band effect was absolutely in play. Needing a victory to keep their slim mathematical chance at the title alive, Inland Peaks FC got just that. After quietly sneaking into the Top 5 amidst a chaotic season - the Peaks, who have spent no more than 3 consecutive seasons in either the Stellar or Declasse Division over the previous twenty cycles, would take down the leaders and send the Stellar Division table into ultimately late-season chaos, with every single team now within three points of both the team ahead and behind them meaning no position anywhere in the table was safe. Though the odds were long, it also kept Inland Peaks within reach of the top spot and even preserved the possibility of a four-way points tie at the top of the season on the final matchday. While the Peaks would certianly be looking up in front of them there was plenty happening behind as Jungle Strike FC - previously bottom of the table, were now just five points behind the Peaks in 6th position.

Despite an impressive 4-1 victory over Mliona-Lpaka, the Inland Peaks dream came to an end on Matchday 24 as Marine Coast United's draw with Makosile meant the gap was just too much to overcome, leaving the title fight a three way battle between Marine Coast United, the Turoki Tide and Colonial Sile. The Colonials were the only team to score on Matchday 24 with the Tide also held to a goalless draw by Strike FC keeping the Mariners in good position entering the final two matchdays. It also resulted in the first time all season the table could be clearly separated with three teams left in the title fight, five teams who had done enough to assure their place in the Stellar Division for Season 71 including previously relegation threatened sides Jungle Strike FC and Rammsissil - then the teams still fighting which included Lonngeylin Coast, Cednia Beach AFC and Eastal Lunar - all former Stellar Division Champions.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 24:

Thousands of Marine Coast United supporters made the trek to the Iobabao Legendary Field in Mliona, Turori in hopes of seeing their team secure its first Stellar Division title in 55 cycles. No one told the locals that was the plan, however, as Mliona-Lpaka spoiled the party with their own quest to secure an IFCF Champions League spot. The match was never truly close as Mliona-Lpaka dominated from start to finish in a 3-1 result. Meanwhile, the Turoki Tide were back in the game and took care of business with a Roderick Yi goal against relegation threatened Jaguar Moreda pulling the Tide level on points atop the table heading into the final matchday of competition.

Final Matchday Preview:

It would be the first time in recent history that absolutely nothing was decided coming into the final matchday of Vililitan League competition. With Colonial Sile out of the picture following their penultimate matchday defeat to Tropicorp FC, the scenario heading into the final matchday was incredibly simple. Marine Coast United and the Turoki Tide entered the final matchday level on Points and Level on Goals Scored. Marine Coast United had conceded one fewer goal than the Tide over the first 25 matches meaning they held the narrowest of advantages. The simple version for the Turoki Tide was they that they needed to better Marine Coast United's result by a goal. If the Marines won by 2, Turoki Tide would have to win by 3. Both teams would play tough opponents with Marine Coast United on the road to 7th place Eastal Lunar while the Turoki Tide were home to 8th place Rammsissil. Any result either side achieved that bettered that of the other would see that team earn the title.

There would be no walkovers on the day, with both Eastal Lunar and Rammsissil fighting to secure a place in the IFCF Challengers Cup. With seemingly all the players across the land watching the title battle, there would be just a single goal during the first half across all Stellar Division games - coming in Lonngeylin where Lonngeylin Coast took an early lead in a crucial relegation battle against Kionao Local where a win for either team could both secure their safety and ensure the relegation of the opponent.

In an absolutely thrilling final forty-five minutes of the season, Vanorian Florian Beike scored a potential title winning goal for the Turoki Tide after a brilliant individual run that began in the midfield. The Tide just had to hold on for 36 minutes and hope that Marine Coast United didn't equal their mark. Things were going just to plan as Zelkki Milake Jr. was holding down the fort at Lunar Park and keeping the leaders off the scoresheet. Then, the critical moment came with less than ten minutes to play in the season not at Lunar Park but back at the Turoki Community Center where Rammsissil's Squornshelan defender Aaro Musta headed home a Xuban Morua cross to level the scores. The tally put Marine Coast United and the Turoki Tide back level in the live table with the Crosaibi side having a +1 Goal Differential advantage on the season. The Tide needed a goal and pressed for it, coming close when Kajsa Kupper had time and space in front of goal but blasted the ball over the bar and into the stands behind the goal to the dismay of the packed home crowd. Ultimately the final whistle would blow and the saga was finally over. After becoming the first former Stellar Division Champion to be relegated from the Stellar Division at the end of Vilitan League Season 23; Marine Coast United completed the long journey fighting back to the top of the Vilitan Footsport Pyramid as Vilitan Stellar Division Season 70 Champions.

If there was no bigger story to start off the 69th Declasse Season than the fact that the Mighty Yeaddin Owls had been relegated from the Stellar Division, then the big story to start Vilitan League Season 70 was the fact that the Yeaddin Owls were still in the Declasse Division for season 70 having faltered late in Season 69 and slipped to a 5th place position in the final Declasse Standings. Another story was brewing, however, and that was the presence of the Endur Forest Rebels, the professional arm of Endur Rotropii's Rebel Academy - the official feeder academy of the Vilitan National Team. Rotropii's Rebels had won the Tropicorp Cup to close out their first season in the Tropicorp Lower League with a mix of Academy and National Team players. While Endur Rotropii themselves remains focused on the Vilitan National Team the former Marine Coast United defender was serving the role as Director of Footsport for the Endur Forest Rebels as they entered their first season of Vilitan League play.

The Rebels would not be the only team making their debut in the Vilitan League this season, however, as the Vilitan Orbital Intelligence Agency's semi-serious Orbital Kickers got a serious boost with a thrilling run through the Tropicorp Lower League season that resulted in a shocking promotion to the Vilitan League. Many of the Orbital Kickers players have transitioned from their day jobs to full-time Footsport players in preparation for the teams first ever campaign in the Vilitan League with a goal of simply avoiding relegation at all costs. Both debutant clubs would be gifted home fixtures on the opening matchday of the Declasse Season and both would make the best of the opportunity it presented to them. The Kickers had their work cut out for them but a packed house on VOIA Island would celebrate at the end of the day when the VOIA club took a 2-1 victory over Cednia Rovers, their first ever in the Vilitan League. Over in the Endur Forest, Rotropii's Rebels had an easy day at the field against recently relegated side Sokattack Mliona with defender Awukchu L'bakka scoring the clubs first ever Vilitan League goal just two minutes into the match as the Rebels rolled away with a 3-0 victory on the opening matchday. The Rebels would make it two-for-two against Turorian clubs on Matchday 2 in the battle of the Forests, Endurs Forest coming out on top 1-0 over the Inura Forests.

Incredibly, the Endur's Forest Rebels would win their first three games of the season only to see the winning streak snapped in the most unlikely of venues - VOIA Island itself as the Orbital Kickers found a way to thwart the Tlikara attack to just a single tally in a 3-1 victory, handing the Rebels their first ever Vilitan League defeat.

While The Rebels and Kickers surprised in their battle near the promotion places, another surprise in the early campaign was the middling performances of the favored Yeaddin Owls - and middling quickly turned to disaster on Matchday six when the Owls traveled to Mliona where veteran goalkeeper Mako Canopii was sent off inside the first half hour of the game. With no primary backup on the roster, the Owls turned to an Academy goalkeeper to step in place of Canopii and the result was not great as Sokattack Mliona plunked five goals past the youngster to hand the Yeaddin Owls their highest ever league defeat in a 5-1 drubbing. With Canopii suspended, the Owls scrambled to prepare for their next match against Cednia Rovers, relying on Turori National Team defender and captain Rojara Tiones to lead the troops from the back. Despite conceding three goals to the Rovers, the Owls easily came away with the three points thanks to two goals a piece from Jung-Bok Tarak and Robert Reeder, and additional goals from Tiones and Eltio Cvetovii to take a high-scoring 6-3 victory puling back within 3 points of the promotion places.

It didn't take long for some of the Shine to wear off of the Rebels season, however, as Rotropii's side would suffer a seven match winless streak sliding down to 10th in the Declasse Table as Surf Jettica and Tivali City began to run away at the top. There was hope for the rest of the field just before the halfway mark of the campaign when on a single matchday both leaders dropped points to promotion contenders. The Orbital Kickers, still hanging in their against all odds, were able to hold leaders Tivali City to a 1-1 draw to slow their momentum. Even more crucially, perhaps, the Inura Forests defeated Surf Jettica 1-0 to close the gap between the two sides by three points while Yutzie Sorma also remained in the fight for the two Stellar Division promotion places.

The first half of the Declasse Season came to a close with Surf Jettica claiming a 2-1 victory over Endur's Forest Rebels whose winless streak had slid to 8 games and whose gap to the relegation zone had shrunk to just a single point in their debut campaign. Dropped points in earlier weeks at the top however had allowed Yutzie Sorma and the Inura Forests to hang within four points of the leaders as both sides chased a long-awaited return to the Stellar Division.

After a break to settle in and get used to both the quality and pace of matches in the Vilitan Declasse Division, Endur's Forest Rebels finally got one back in the win column with an important 1-0 victory over Sokattack Mliona to open up the second half of the season. The tone at the top of the table changed massively on Matchday 16 when Surf Jettica hosted Tivali City and picked off a massive 2-1 victory in a classic pointer. After the result, Surf Jettica opened up a 7 point gap over Tivali City in their quest for a quick return to the Stellar Division while allowing Turorian side Inura Forests to slide into second place in search of their first ever Stellar Promotion.

With four matches to play it was a four team battle at the Top of the Declasse division as the battle would be decided between leaders Surf Jettica - 4 points clear at the top and 6 ahead of third place, and the challengers Inura Forests, Tivali City and Yutzie Sorma. The rest of the field from fifth place on back was closer to the relegation battle than they were to promotion. Regardless of having been eliminated from Top 2 contention it was still a thrilling season for VOIA's Orbital Kickers who temporarily found themselves atop the second pack in fifth place despite being just 9 points clear of the relegation zone. The team knew one more victory over the final four matches should be enough for them to accomplish thier goal of survival. The kickers would get the win they needed on Matchday 23 in a result that would also serve to put a massive dent in the Yeaddin Owls hopes for ITC Competition at the Cycles end, the Owls dropping five points back of the 5th position which would offer an ITC Series B Champions League position if Inura Forests failed to finish inside the Top 2 at seasons end.

Just one matchday after falling out of the Top 2, the Inura Forests climbed back in with a statement 5-1 victory over Cednia Rovers. Aided by a 1-1 draw between Tivali City and Yutzie Sorma, the Forests were back on track in the promotion fight. Just one matchday after nearly losing their shot at an ITC Spot, the Yeaddin Owls finally began to look like the team they were expected to be this season with a 4-0 victory over struggling Seraai Tiaca. Yet the Forests would have the more difficult of the remaining schedule including a matchup against leaders Surf Jettica. The Surfers secured the Declasse Title with the point earned against Inura Forets on the penultimate matchday but it was hard luck for the Forests who dropped back to third heading into the final matchday. The Turorian side would do what they had to do on the final matchday against Sokattack Mliona but it was to no avail as Tivali City palyed bottom side Seraai Tiaca and won 2-1 to secure a return to the Stellar Division at the Forests expense.

For Inura Forests, it was the second time in club history that they had finished 3rd in the Declasse Table, just one place from achieving their ultimate goal of reaching the Vilitan Stellar Division. A late season surge by the Yeaddin Owls would fall just short of placement in the ITC Series B Trophy - it didn't matter how many goals the Owls scored on the final matchday they would finish 1 point behind the Orbital Kickers. The Owls were one of the hottest teams in the Declasse and finished the season off with a 4-0 victory over Jlinal Cove FC but locked in 6th place on the final table the Owls would have to seek elsewhere for their off-season competition plans.

At the bottom of the table, the safety of both Tropicorp Lower League rookie squads (Orbital Kickers, Endur's Forest Rebels) was assured when Arcticala Inlet were defeated 2-0 by Alikki-Corra on the final matchday, ending the Electricians 70 season run in the Vilitan League system after five narrow escapes in the previous seven campaigns and making Arcticala Inlet just the second former Stellar Division Champion to be relegated out of the Declasse Division after Turoki United.

It was a fantastic run for Tropicorp Lower League side Inland Rovers who had already claimed victories over Lonngeylin Coast, Arcticala Inlet, Cednia Beach AFC and the Kionao Locals in order to reach the Quarter Finals - having not defeated a single non-league side on their impressive run and earning every subsequent stage they advanced to. A 1-1 draw at home to the Tropicorp FC Techies might nearly have seen the run continue but for the Vilitan Cup's two-legged format in the Quarter and Semi-Finals. The Rovers would be handily defeated 3-0 in the second leg at Tropicorp Park ending their deepest ever Vilitan Cup run in club history.

The Turoki Tide proved that their surprise runner-up finish by a single goal in the Stellar Division table was no fluke by easily taking care of Eastal Lunar in the Vilitan Cup Semi-Finals with a 3-0 victory powered by goals from Roderick Yi, Kajsa Kupper and captain Polaox Torerun. There opponent would be a familiar one, Jungle Strike FC who narrowly defeated Tropicorp FC thanks to a first-leg tally from Nua'oma Aikikki. Despite early struggles in the league, the depth of the Venom roster eventually pulled through as Strike climbed back into the ITC Places and made it through to the Vilitan Cup Final for the second time in three seasons.

It would be Wanda Kouyate getting the start for Jungle Strike FC over Vilitan netminder Vernasa Sanamun whose playing time had been reduced since losing the starting job on the Vilitan National Team during World Cup 91 Qualifying. It would be the Venom who would strike first 19 minutes into the game when Bastet North ran into the area then slotted across for Turori National Team attacker Nua'oma Aikiki who cooly finished to give Strike a 1-0 lead they would hold onto until the half time break.

Turoki Tide head coach Cavuna Aquafek tried to motivate the troops at the interval but had about as much luck doing so as they did scoring points as manager of the Vilitan National Team on hom soil during World Cup 90. Within minutes of the restart, Strike FC's half time introduction Aherendes Yraújjí had already made a game-changing impact, dazzling down the left hand side before delivering a cross that met perfectly to the head of Nepharim attacker Bastet North who made no mistake in doubling the Venom advantage. While it may have appeared to be game, set, match at that point, the Tide would finally get their act together and get back in the game when the "Future face of the Tide" - 19 year old attacker Diamoa Waviino netted their first Cup goal of the season on the hour mark to give the team hope into the final stretch. Unfortunately for supporters of the Turoki Tide, the final thirty minutes would play out without a change to the scoreboard, and for the second time in as many matches, the Turoki Tide entered a game needing only to outscore their rivals to win a major trophy, and in both cases, the Tide came up just a single goal short. It would be a record 21st Vilitan Cup title for Jungle Strike FC while for the Tide it would be their 5th defeat in a Vilitan Cup final as the once giant clubs major silverware gap was extended for a 12th consecutive season.

27th Season :: SEASON 70

With two first time Vilitan League participants having qualified from the Tropicorp Lower League during its 26th campaign, there was confidence up and down the table that any team could have a shot and breaking through to the Vilitan Declasse Division via the Tropicorp Cup. Defending regular season table toppers Akisa Surta were favored to make another run at a Vilitan League return while many in Turori wondered if the Eelandii Academy's continued success in the Tropicorp Youth Challenge would ever begin to spill over to the senior team the Sporta Eelandii Nationals.

In addition to the two clubs dropping down from the Vilitan League, Lonngeylin Coast and the Lopinka Rovers, five new clubs would join the league for Season 70. Vilisorma and Kiiara-Torra would return after just a single season on the sidelines while Crosaibi United would be making their first appearance in the league. The newcomers would not get a warm welcome as they opened their Tropicorp Lower League season in Tropicorp and took a lopsided 0-3 defeat from the Tropicoast Kickers. There was a moment of joy for the team from Crosaibi who picked up their first victory on Matchday 2 against shoreline rivals Lonngeylin United but it was quickly apparently that it would be a difficult season for the newcomers when early leaders Terrarokka United plastered five goals past Crosaibi on Matchday 3.

While Crosaibi were struggling to match the quality of the other teams in the leaggue, Vilisorma were making for an entertaining team to follow with matches like their 4-4 draw with the Tropicoast Kickers on Matchday 6 and a narrow single-goal defeat to leaders Terrarokka United on Matchday 8.

By the seasons halfway point there had been a change at the top as Irottea had positioned themselves at the point despite a 1-0 defeat to fellow leaders Terrarokka United. In their first season out of the Vilitan League, Lonngeylin City were holding strong inside the Top 4 but only one point clear of surprise package Lionta Travel who were overachieving in 5th place.

With less than ten matches to play, it was still tight at the top with just one point separating Terrarokka United from Irottea - two sides that had pulled away from the pack completely. The best of the rest were led by Season 69 Tropicorp Cup qualifiers Laiotia who picked up a 6-1 victory over Jlinal City to move into 3rd place. With three games to play, Irottea got a boost with a 3-2 win in Laiotia to clinch their spot in the Tropicorp Cup and open up their gap to 3 points over Terraokka United who were defeated 2-0 in a rivalry game with the Terrarokka Spirit who climbed to within 2 points of the Top 4 with the victory, looking to join their rivals in the Tropicorp Cup. That dream would come to an end, however, on the penultimate matchday of comptition with the Spirit were held by Crosaibi United, a side on the very of clinching safety from the drop. Irottea would go into the Final matchday with nearly insurmountable lead of 3 poitns and +6 Goal Differential while both Laiotia and Kirota had clinched the Tropicorp Cup field.

Irottea and Terrarokka United combined for one of the most dominating seasons in Tropicorp Lower League History both sides eclipsing the 60 point barrier in a league where the Tropicorp Cup cutoff is typically in the high 40's. Both sides had been out of the Vilitan Declasse Division for ten seasons, having been relegated together during Vilitan League Season 60. However, despite the clear gap to the clubs behind them, the job wasn't done as they would each have to win their Tropicorp Cup Qualifying match to secure a place back in the Declasse for Season 71. Unfortunately for both, they would not be able to hold it together in the Tropicorp Cup Qualifiers as for the second consecutive season, the top seed going into the Tropicorp Cup was eliminated.

It was good news for Laiotia AFC, however, who had lost the Qualifier one season before and not only defeated Terrarokka United to make a return trip to the Declasse Division for the first time since season 58, then defeated Kirota 5-4 on Penalty Kicks to take home the Tropicorp Cup. Despite the defeat, Kirota will join Laiotia in the Declasse Division for Season 71, which will be the clubs first ever in the Top Tiers of the Vilitan League.

The closest season of competition yet in the Tropicorp Youth Challenge would see the lowest average Regional Group winning point totals in competition history with every group other than the Turorian Group seeing a new champion from the season before. There was one new team participating in the competition this season, Endur Rotropii's Rebel Academy who joined the External Vilitan group for clubs off the Main Island - traditionally the Turoki Island group. The Rebel Academy replaced Turoki Isle in the group after the Turoki City based clubs relegation from the Tropicorp Lower League saw a merger between the senior and youth squads at the club. After winning the Vilitan Cove group, Arcticala Inlet would defeat Morata Valley in the Qualification Round then defending champion Eelandii Academy in the Final to claim their first Tropicorp Youth Challenge Cup in club history, ironically coming in the same season as the senior club was relegated from the Vilitan League for the first time in their history.

The Cocoa-bo Fair Play Table rewards the teams with the best record throughout the season of minimal play disruption through Red and Yellow Cards. Teams earn 1 point per yellow card received throughout the season in both the Vilitan League: Stellar Division and the Vilitan League: Declasse Division; and 3 points per Red Card received. Matches in Cup Competitions, one of matches such as the Tropical Trophy or matches outside the Vilitan League system do not contribute to a teams total for a given season. Generally the team with the best performance in the fair play table that is not otherwise qualified for Internationstatal competition will be invited to the Vilitan Cove Invitational Tournament.

Location :: Alikki-Corra is the Capital City of Vilita and is a hub of transportation, commerce, lodging and entertainment in the region.

Stadium :: The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy matchup. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict and has remained the primary National Stadium and home of the Vilitan National Team since then.

The Tivali Ring Stadium has previously hosted the 55th UICA Champions Cup Final. In addition to the nearby amenities from being located between Vilita's Capital City and its most accessible Jungle habitat, the Stadium also offers plenty of history for the sporting enthusiasts from around the multiverse who will be able to view, from a small distance of course, the trophy case of the Vilita National Football Team, including its joint-record Five World Cup Trophies.

Location :: Cednia is the Vacation Center of the Island Emirate boasting the best Coastlines, nightlife and business opportunities within Turori in a sprawling coastal city.

Stadium :: The Cednia Beach Center is one of the purest examples of capitalism and expansion in the Vilitan Leagues. Originally a modest plot for a modest team, the stadium has risen along with the rise of the club. Now, a world class stadium capacity wise, there are concessions that were made. The training grounds outside the center are second rate, and parking is virtually non-existent at the complex. Public transportation - including your own two feet, would be required for fans to access the stadium. Thats alright though, plenty of lodging surrounds the local area within walking distance.

The Cednia Beach Center has been home to International competitions for many seasons including the Cup of Harmony 53 Final contested between Darmen and New Montreal States. New Montreal States ran out 4-2 winners on the day in what was an otherwise quiet and successful day at the park for fans attending at the Cednia Beach Center, showcasing the ability for Cednia to host the marquee matchups of International Sport despite the close confines of the stadium with its Cednia surroundings. Just two cycles later, the Cednia Beach Center would be home to one of the the most talked about World Cup Finals of its era, when Atlantian Oceania powerhouse Starblaydia in search of their record 6th World Cup took on an Audioslavia side that had made more World Cup Finals without ever winning than any other nation. In that game, Audioslavia finally prevailed to earn their first World Cup title while Starblaydia still seeks that elusive 6th title.

Primary Tenants :: Cednia Beach AFC currently compete in the Vilitan Stellar Division. Cednia Beach AFC remain the only Turorian club to ever win the Vilitan Stellar Division Title and can also boast the UICA Globe Cup, Atlantian Oceania Champions League and Vilitan Cup among their honors.

IFCF Cup Winners Cup: Lonngeylin Coliseum, Lonngeylin, Vilita (115,500 Seated) - 141,000 Standing Room

Home of the Vilitan Stellar Division champions, Jungle Strike FC, Lonngeylin Coliseum is the biggest sporting arena in the Vilitan Cove and was chosen exactly for this purpose. Not so much 'butts in seats' - because almost one-third of the estimated attendees would be standing on the Vilitan hillside, but the capacity to hold large volumes was just one of the perks to holding the match in Lonngeylin.

One of the oldest yet most expansive stadiums in Vilita, the stadium has undergone several renovations, name changes and expansions in its long history, which included being a knockout venue for the World Cup 17 and 31 finals. Most notably, the seated sections of the Coliseum went through a complete overhaul between League Seasons 25-35 where sections were closed incrementally for upgrades. The Coliseum is known for its unique hillside accommodation which enhances one of the most impressive match atmospheres in the region.

Most famously, however, the Lonngeylin Coliseum was the venue for the World Cup 59 final that pitted The Babbage Islands against Aguazul. It was an epic championship final with the two sides fighting to a goalless draw after extra time before Aguazul triumphed in the shootout for their historic third consecutive World Cup title. The facilities at the Lonngeylin Coliseum had been upgraded over the year to handle the over-capacity crowd and extended match timeline. The venue was also selected for the Vilitan half of the "Battle of Turori" - when Vilita & Turori were drawn against each other during World Cup 64 Qualifying.

Typically, only the Jungle Strike FC or Vilita National Team 'home' fans are allowed in the south and east areas, which include both hillside seating and open hillside that can accommodate an approximately 30,000 additional fans beyond the seated capacity - depending on how far away from the stadium they wish to prop themselves. Away fans are always seated in the west grandstand. The hosting of a neutral tournament event at the arena will allow visiting fans to experience 'home' accomodations for the first time.

The Lonngeylin Coliseum is a former UICA and Cygnus Cup host site, including the successful hosting of the 47th UICA Champions Cup Final.

Procedural notes:

In the absence of any stadium bids, the final site will default to the Eagles' Club in Forbridge, home of the AIU Sparks. With 17 participating teams, there will be a play-in match between the fourth seeds of Chromatika and Squidroidia, followed by the seeding of a random 1-16 bracket (all first seeds above all second seeds, etc.) such that no school faces another school from the same association in the first round.
