Platinastigrade and Capital were each ahead of the pack on islands of their own. Both lead or were in the top three of a scoring category, while Platinastigrade lead the lead in the xG table. Ten of Capital's wins came by two goals or more, and they won all eight home ties. Two night away losses to top five contenders and draws against trophy touted sides were the only blemishes on second place's record. Platinasigrade were out in front with a loss and a draw sandwiched between winning streaks of eight and five games. The defending champions were also the only side to give up less .6 goals per matchup or less. If Platinatigrade's form held, they would be at 80 points. If the eight win, one draw, one loss pattern continued, Platinasigrade would have 75 points. "My friends will not be viewing the title race as an uphill climb," former Capital player Bogdan Rawić said to RekanSport in an interview, "Fifteen games in and there's still four teams who can win it all."
Sanford and VZRH were level on points and GD, with Sanford's attack helping give them a tie breaking edge. Alexei Morzov's six goals put him level with four players, Tim Ulrich, Nabil Hamidi, Markodan Čech, and Vilim Feinberg, in the golden boot race. Feinberg, from Platinastigrade, had made just five appearances, with three from the bench. Jakow Krstowić from VZRH was touted as a scoring threat, but with one goal in nine appearances and right foot/knee issues, he's been unable to keep with the side. VZRH's offense has was ranked seventh, and the defensive was keeping the side from losing more than twice. DD Porto Nowi were strong in victory, but gave up three or more goals in two losses, plus they gave up one goal per day on average. Random losses to Beestagrade and Bergsteiger away from home and one point against the top four at home kept Schmelling's side from pushing for second. The side was but a single point past Ogroven Vanguardi and Ofau.
Vanguardi were looking poor in the last season early on, but their issues could be explicitly blamed on fixture congestion. This season, Vanguardi were on pace to finish better, but were less attacking with the loss of playmaker and scorer Luka Edmundić. Mendoza and Palestrel were Vanguardi's top scorers up to the half with three goals. Ofau this year had an inconsistent opening with wins and losses. The heartbreak of finishing behind DD Porto Nowi last year made losing 6-1 in Porto Nowi a disaster. Besting Capital was the bright spot of the season at the half, while drawing to Brdoviti Gaj was an unexpected embarrassment. Aleiusia Riverside were shockingly able to pick up away points against Sanford, but were not strong against other top sides. Even so, rank eight at the half was good for a promoted club.
AK Stanimir were in mid table, but were patient after beating Sanford away, while also being ready for four tough home games to close the year. Playing the top two at home didn't help Kven. Kven did better against the top two than Beestagrade, but the later were a promoted side who were playing the three best teams away. Beestagrade also scored a goal versus Platinastigrade. Bergsteiger were able to have cavaliering game against strong teams, including the two goal win over DD Porto Nowi. Hamidi was also one of the highest scoring players in Division 1, and that was due in part to the DD Porto Nowi Game. Bergsteiger lacked discipline in their fifteenth game, where they ended up receiving six yellow cards to one, and had Artur Belić sent off. Beestagrade's Brock Božidarić had a foot injury on week ten. The injury forced Bojan Bosak and Jovan Krause to each shoulder the load.
The bottom four all shared the bottom four attacks after fifteen games. The Ottowić Okrug's attacking methods lead to region mates DD Porto Nowi and AK Stanimir. Ottowić also held a lead for five minutes over Aleiusia Capital. One point back was FKP Matov-Uri. Matov-Uri's games were usually unrepeatable affairs. FMU's wins came against the other bottom four clubs, and otherwise the side was unproductive and usually couldn't penetrate the opposition third. Hüelhunde outright fired Wolfgang Waibel after the side was winless in their first seven games, and couldn't score against the worst backline in the division. Fifteenth place is using the assistant as an interim, and may hire future fired coaches.
FK Brdoviti Gaj were on paper once of the worst sides in the history of the top flight. The side gave up fives goals in a half twice, both times in the second half. The loss to Kven was one of three blown first half leads, and saw them go from 0-1 away to 5-1 before scoring in injury time. D.D Porto Nowi went from a two goal lead to a seven goal lead in Brdoviti Gaj's stadium. Aleksander Schwab twice scored in the first half, once against VZRH, and once against Bergsteiger. Both games ended in draws from blown leads. The underdogs of the season, FKGB lost by an average margin of three and a half goals. On the plus side, six points was joint second worst over thirty games, so they could never be the worst team ever. The side looked for a win in their rematches to avoid being the second winless club ever.

James Lysander was played on the center right in most games of the season, but was place on the center left for the game against Capital, though he was moved around multiple times throughout the game by coach Burien. Iwan Kotić was selected to play the capital game in a bid to dominate the air. The side's tallest outfield player would be getting a huge debut game for the year. Juda-Tadej Šebalj's practice form was citied by coach Burien to explain his inclusion on the starting team.
Capital's opening game was a dominant win over a promoted side. Capital for week two would use a mix of first and second choice players. The VZRH games were to be taken seriously even with the regional fixtures played. Grgo Brankowić was picked for youthfulness. Jasmine Character would give the side experience in these tough trophy race games. Capital would use their striker less system to control the ball against a wide opponent.
Capital would score in the second minute of play thanks to a pacy overlap by Remigio Leita and a finish from young star Wlad Stojanowić. The classy play did not spook the home side, but it did knock the wind of the sails of fans until the equalizer. Radler was able to make the goal on attempt number two, which was a short range kick. The bad news was that teammate Jakow Krstowić would not be celebrating with Radler for he was injured. Capital used their star players to make a play into the box. Ulrich was able to score, and put his side back in the lead.
In the second half both Capital and VZRH would take their left backs out of the game. Franklin-Perez had been a mobile force in two games, and thus needed to be rested before he dropped off a cliff. Nikola Icowić had a long and rough day being outplayed by Capital's EuraLeague signing, and was replaced by a pacy backup. Capital made some quality of life adjustments by playing back more and bringing in a new defensive midfielder. Capital, still ahead, chose to bring in a new center back after Brankowić was fouling. Markus Alte couldn't warm up well enough, and he made a key positional mistake which allowed Šebalj and Lysander to play off of each other for a midfielder's long range special.
The clock was now past eighty minutes when the Army Men brought in their final substitute. "I was planning on using this tactic if we'd been tied," Burien said after the match, "I wanted to bring in a striker late, and I wanted that player to be Radinovic. I was conflicted when Krstowić was hurt -- Do I play my plan early, or do I bring in two forwards throughout the day" Burien's gambit ended up winning the game when two Farf players linked up their motions and scored a screamer past Helland. VZRH were now ahead of Capital in the standings, though this advantage would falter over time.

DD Porto Nowi were expected to do well, but had two key players missing. Captain Nikola Djordjewić was given a straight red against Platinastigrade and was serving a two game suspension. Striker Branislaw Djurašewić was on leave to be with his fiancé who late the prior night went into labor with little baby Wuk Djurašewić. Casey Farang and Osman Arsenowić were not on call for Bergsteiger. Farang had already played almost every minute of Division 1. Arsenowić was unused due to foul accumulation and a lack of scoring.
The opening goal was scored early on by Petarić thanks to a clever side pass from his teammate. Bergsteiger were more often penetrating DD Porto Nowi's final third. Bergstoeger were able to employ central overloads by getting past Evans past Wiley and by being compact. Bergsteiger were in control of possession, and were able to take advantage by making more chances. Albanhardhelmger was able to get a cross field ball and assisted Wiley's goal. Bergsteiger would take back the lead almost ten minutes later. A pass from the midfield triangle to wide man Nabil Hamidi was all they needed. Porto Nowi would equalize before the half when Bartsch feinted in the box go trick Holstein Holcamp.
In the second half, DD Porto Nowi were able to score first with a less risky set up. Attacking midfielder Wiley was moved down, while Iwan Bartsch was moved to the hole behind Klein. The formation was tough to penetrate. At minute fifty an Albanhardhelmger corner found Stanzel's head. The lead would not last. Nabil Hamidi was able to make some deep plays, and he eventually his side counter attacked to score. Hamidi wasn't done. Bergsteiger gave their backup a shot to make a hat trick against one of the biggest clubs in the nation, and he delivered masterfully. To add insult to injury captain David Curschman belted in a goal from the side to win an amazing upset. "We were fitter today," Curschman said "We had the midfield, and confused their fluid players. I couldn't ask for a better win against them."

Fans looked to this game to dictate the pace of the season. Platinastigrade had a perfect record. If the defending champs could beat their biggest challenge on the road, nothing could stop Platinastigrade from repeating. Randy Kovalchuk was rotated out for the game and replaced by the ever calcuolatory Željko Milanowić. Wladan Momirić was not selected and Platinastigrade based sportswriter Uriah Koff speculated Momirić's inconsistency against his former club was a reason. The rest of the side, including the heavily booed signing Fenstermacher Scwartzhammer, captain Stani Gröss. striker Stojan Heiden, and more, was otherwise unchanged from their optimal set up.
For Capital a win would help keep the pace with the league's leaders. Capital were 6-1-1 and five points back. Coach Stanimirić pulled down Ulrich to play beside Constantine Wern, and also brought up experienced veteran Jasmine Character to go after Platinastigrade. Tapper would remain an option on the bench, and was humble in accepting the backup position on the day. "It wasn't that he wasn't good enough to play" Stanimirić explained after the win, "We just needed to make sure Platinastigrade was on their toes, and putting a starter on the bench was how I did it." Defender Pablo Carrero was worn out from a few straight full games, and was replaced by Markus Alte.
The tactic from Capital was not by any means defensive. Both sides made good attacks in the opening minutes. Capital's Constantine Wren had a powerful on target shot which had to be caught. An early chance from Platinastigrade went off the woodwork, and it seemed like Capital were peeved the offside flag hadn't been raised. Almost a sixth of the way into the evening Yousef Iwanić was under pressure, had an areal ball, and ended up misdirecting it away from Bergerstein. Capital were up at the half thanks to the own goal. Platinastigrade had an xG over one after the whistle, but Helland's hands prevented a late shot from Heiden.
Capital used Tapper's fitness early in the second half to reduced Platinastigrade's attack early in the final half. The away side were able to weather the storm. On minute fifty six, Wladowić deflected a pass via his body to a point three yards past the penalty spot. Heiden's quick shot was caught and kicked far away. The ensuing challenge for the ball saw Capital's Abed-Louis yank Scwartzhammer's shirt. The two players came face to face seconds later. Scwartzhammer also slyly pie-faced former team mate Tim Ulrich. Capital would double their lead off close range play. Platinastigrade made changes at both the backline and the front. Capital eventually solidified their shape by adding a third center back. The final tries of the game by Platinastigrade saw Juan José Montenegro Gisbert involved after he replaced Heiden. Gisbert needed to be deflected once on a shot that iced out the away team.
"We're not just pleased with the result," coach Stanimirić said after the game, "We're excited. We're happy. We're focused on the next game." Platinastigrade reportedly gave Schwartzhammer an official warning for his reaction to being fouled. The loss highlighted some divisions in the locker room. Associates of Stojan Heiden were critical of Axel-Finn Wladowić's deflections throughout the game. The Wide Target man was quiet about the controversy, but did begin to socialize with Stani Gröss more than Heiden. Capital would win their next two games, but did it without Wlad Stojanowić, who developed a foot injury from some of the plays in the Platinastigrade game and his exercise routine.

Riverside took eight weeks to win a game in Division 1 while Sanford were on twenty one points. Their most dishonorable loss was to midtabl AK Stanimir, and the less made Sanford's staff careful of conceding early goals against a minnow. Sanford used their strongest back line formation for the game. By the half both sides had a goal. Trevor Cathburt opened up scoring by passing to Alexi Morozov. Reidar Rögnvaldursson had an error in his defection which put the ball on the good foot of a Riverside player. Riverside and Sanford each had two central midfielders, but Riverside would use Thorben Aleksander's presence to generate some majorities for a time. Sanford's counter attacking gave a few scares as Morozov looked for a double.
In the second half, Sanford would pivot to having a three man midfield by removing one of the forwards, creating a 5-3-2 set up. Sanford seldom play with the set up and the lack of practice in the themes of the matchup lead to Riverside quickly scoring a second half goal. Adding to Sanford's pressure was the wings moving into their usual roles as wide midfielders. Riverside now could move Dennis Murray down to trip up Iwan Zoranić-Oschmann. Eventually Heiden Karlow, a Sanford product, was playing in Murray's place. Sanford were able to make a push along the flanks, with Leo Wendschuch being the recipient of a pass. On the pass Nikowić would go down. Riverside's captain being out of the game rallied Riverside to score a third goal.
Nikowić would turn out to be healthy, writing on social media that, "You have to sometimes take a tactical injury but zamn my leg hurts tho." Sanford were upset at home, with the tactics of the side being lambasted. "We didn't need to overthink the game," Sanford player Deitmar Fleischer said to fans online, prompting a quiet warning from his side. Sanford's record would decline over the next few games, as the side only won two of their next five. Sanford also drew against Bergsteiger and Capital.
