After a rough sixth place finish in season 80, Imperialismus didn’t falter. Instead the club broke their ceiling last year, punched a ticket to the Challenger’s Cup. With the IFCF games Imperialismus had a hard pre season. The side now looks to keep up performances. Antonije Markowić, who lead the team to the IFCF, left for Ogroven Sportlich, and former assistant Wolfgang Waibel was chosen to lead. Waibel’s only other coaching job was with a third tier side, but ended with the newly promoted Izworwac FK finishing fourth of twelve that season.
The side has adjusted into a diamond shape, with Alec Bon Air the most progressive midfielder, and former starter Zoran Ilijawić benched. The center backs are brand new, and fill in Waibel’s dishes for more ball playing. The front two are also different, with Wladmirowić brought up, and Mihajlowić signed in place of Wladmir Kazi and Strawkow Wukowić. There is continuity however, with Spielmann and Nikowić on the wings, Phenalope Carden holding down the ball, and Sweben Schrader wearing the armband. The rebuilding’s side aforementioned tough schedule did allow the side to make a splash in the Challenger’s Cup, which will be covered later. The club will still need to earn wins in the league to get another chance.

AK Stanimir were a mid table side through and through last season, but there’s hope to climb back over the next two years. Mauricio Oswalt was bought time by winning a derby game late last season, and fans are getting used to his style, as is the dressing room. Toxothea Sebring’s loan with the club ended, so Feliciy Wentworth was brought to Porto Nowi. Veteran Ratimir Grbić enters the starting line up at the back. Grbić is to be facilitative but defensively wise. Barić, Carbey and Davidson return looking for a better year. The midfield is also contiguous to last season. The front trident has had a big change. Iwo Jowanowić was promoted in the absence of Iwan Mirkowić. Jowanowić will need to do well quickly. No matter what, Petarić is the offensive focal point, and the club's main player. Expectations are high, but perhaps Oswalt will be able to convince the board to back long term planing.

After a trio of titles, Aleiusia Capital finished in third after a late loss to the eventual champions. Jowan Stanimirić is back at the helm, with a more player oriented set up, allegedly orchestrated in part by ownership, though Stanimirić has denied any interference claims. The lineup is a 4-2-3-1 employing Nephara national teamer Peo Tapper and compatriot Reis Becker in a double pivot. Tapper is the defender, and Becker will be looking to play up. The front three midfielders include veteran team leader Jad, and Tim Ulrich, considered the future of the club’s midfield. In-between the Rekans is another Nepharan in the form of Constantine Wren. “The midfield of Capital makes them my main contenders,” RekanSport domestic analyst Simon Linsenhoff wrote in an article on the upcoming season.
The backline, and goalie Isak Helland welcome Gero Albanhardhelmger to the first choice ranks, and Gero was one of the top backups last season on the flanks. The question for Albanhardhelmger now is if he can or can’t keep his pace. Gero is a bit more of a flank player, with transitionary defensive duties. Mauricio Franklin-Perez will be more of an attacker, but can be subbed out for the more defensive and highly touted Stellan Rundström. Rundström’s presence would also allow Albanhardhelmger to be bold. The center backs, Fitz and Henderson, are both back. One other player returns, Fenstermacher Scwartzhammer, AKA Fen, will be looking for his fourth straight golden boot award. Scwartzhammer is just one of three Rekan first choice players on the side which looks to represent Zeta Reka in the Challenger’s Cup.
The backups on the side are more than just Rundström. Jasmine Character was signed from Xanneria, and will be gunning for Tapper’s sport. Stojanowić is a young prospect which the backroom staff are high on. The youthful dynamo at the same time is still considered a risky choice to replace Jad. Scwartzhammer’s contemporary is Brighton Mattheus from Brenecia. Mathew Kabble also showed potential. Lastly, Muhammed Jankowić could be the super sub of the league.

Defending the crown for the first time in years, DD Porto Nowi fans are used to having a target on their back. Riki Schmelling has gone all in on “Schmelling Ball” with a 3-4-1-2 which can at times resemble a 4-3-3, a 4-4-2 diamond, or even a 4-2-4. On the attack Jakow Krstowić is the total package, while Levi Matthis is a focal point for building up. Elias Hagen is a fleet-footed threat with the speed and pace of Valanora’s stereotypical norm. Isabelle Wiley joins NT player Nikola Branić in midfield and both will put in a lot of work. One major part of Schmelling Ball is to play off the beaten path, and nothing's more unique in Zeta Reka than a Libero. Clement Mattern-Soh will again play up and down the pitch with the back center as a starting point. Soh’s position forces Wiley and more so Branić to cover lower spaces at times. The other center backs are the through ball adverse Yousef Iwanić, and hasty Russo Filipowić.
The title holders are also deep. Wingbacks Nikola Djordjewić and Yuri Kewić will have the national team to juggles, giving Angus Holkenurgh and Heimlich Nikolawić time to shine, along with Filipowić, who can play right back. Veteran Anpele Zork has won six titles in his career, and doesn’t want to stop. Teenage striker Rafael Cremar isn’t a slouch, and will start somewhere in the future. If the Libero tactic is faltering, Benjamin Polanski from FK Banfigrade is a defensive midfield specialist drug from lower league ball.

After a sour league finish, cup finalists Ofau only picked up two points from their finals three matches. Ofau were thus a win from an IFCF slot sans tiebreaks. Ofau looks to stabilize fortunes in the next two seasons, and build for the future. Fyrcynn Gerfalcon was picked as Ofau’s best management hope in lieu of player coach Rybki heading back to Porto Nowi. A new coach sees a new format for the side, This time, an attack oriented and athletic 4-3-3 will be employed by Ofau’s top team. Dejan Wasić was made captain, though he could share those duties with former skipper Ilija Ilić. Jeffery Yandir continues to develop as Wukan Globisz readies for his own prime. Duncan Tshibangu of Quebec and black Rekan Olu Osanyinleye continue to work well together. One and four fifths meter tall attacking wing Hans Palve will be without a regular backup due to Milan Joakimić suffering a spinal injury.
While many players return from last season, Miloš Janić, Dome Odoma Lazar Macek-Leibermann, and Wladmir Adamić have all been brought in. Miloš Janić was a graduate of Ofau’s youth system, having spent time with DD Porto Nowi. "Little Milo" is also the sibling of league winning left back Koijok Janić. Odoma’s signing pushed crowd favorite Goran Waldić out of the starting eleven. Gerfalcon insists Waldić will have ample time to play, but the move has spurred hardcore fans from the onset. Macek-Leibermann’s experience with Capital and Bergsteiger has made him a ball playing wizard with cooperative skills. Adamić could very well be the top item for Ofau, he had great attacking play while on Capital’s bench.

Investment from the agricultural industry was supposed to improve the side’s standing, and last year Hüelhunde moved to the top flight for just the second time. Last season was a great advancement for the club, and while they finished in fourteenth, the club had strengths to build on. The club looks to do so with two newer players in the upper half of the pitch. Micha Constamos is from an Autonomous Vessel Nation, while Ana Rumen comes from the women’s league in Zeta Reka. In addition, Rhombus Lucas was brought in from well known Brenecian side Rozelle. The side all fits the vision of player-oriented manager Wolfgang Marcellić, a former youth NT coach.
Tactically, the side has three main attacking players and three outfield players with more defensive duties. The midfield, plus fullback Yari Hesse, will be more of a conduit to the attack, and overall every player is to play carefully. Ana Rumen is probably the least defensive player on the side, as he performed the last number of presses per 90 on any first choice player in Hügeltaldom South’s qualifying tournaments. Loftus Brand and Ena Bratić each have a lot of ground to cover, but the side midfielders will help in spaces. Marko Djuradjić is a particularly tricky player defensively, with nice passing vision.

Andrejow Werisokić was removed as captain ecause of referring to his team as, “soft” post season. In his place is flare player Luka Edmundić. The fullbacks are to remain back more the most 4-3-3 fullbacks. Wide spaces in the middle third will at times belong only to both Edmundić and partner Connor Miller. Side forwards have similar responsibilities. Djordić as the stronger passer could top assist charts. Josip Jorowić has been playing back more often. Club newbies Tito Jankoslawić and Diego Carlos Oh will look at make immediate impact on the defensive line.
The overall outlook for the club is in question. Vanguardi expected to fight for first last year, but instead had to cling to a well locked up fourth place finish. The preseason IFCF campaigned ended in an early exit. Vanguardi look to minimizing losses under Moon Tae-Hong’s guidance. Tae-Hong is Zeta Reka longest tenured foreign coach, but will need a trophy to keep command of the cyan and purple dressing room.

The Dragons had a humble mid table performance last season in the second tier. Zeta Reka’s league system gave them a chance to return to the top flight. The Dragons took advantage wonderfully by netting 14 goals for 17 points in just 9 games. The Dragons are expected to play cautiously against big clubs, with a more withdrawn front line and compressed shape height wise. Against the lower ranked sides, a little oomph is expected of the side. Coach Gaten used to be highly touted, but hasn’t quite lived up to expectations at any club. Gaten, who once published a book lambasting a club owner’s racial views, has spoke highly of Ovrâd Dragons progressive mindset, and promised to “make The Dragons a household name in a few years.”

Platinastigrade are looking strong thanks a wealth of talent across all experience levels, and a high roster depth. IFCF slots are what the side is playing for this season, and it could easily be the city’s best season in years. Wladan Momirić was a starter for Aleiusia Capital with trophies to his name. A wage gap dispute between Momirić and other attacking player prompted Momirić to move to another big money club. The signing of Momirić was the biggest free agency move in Zeta Reka all season, and was a marquee article for sporting news site RekanSport, plus received front page coverage in Platinastigrade’s newspaper, “The Miner.” Iwan Mirkowić was bought from AK Stanimir the same week for a cool million. Being owned by a mining company and having ownership finally take you seriously has major benefits.
The attacking trident of Mirkowić, Heiden and Kazi is a fluid and deadly side, like the poison of a frog placed upon arrows. Stef Brankowić approaches his late thirties and still is the sting in the club’s tail. A Hinodejin duo plays in midfield. Makoto Honda will need to move from box to box, while Shichirou Koizumi is the side’s anchor. Rekan wingbacks play near two more foreign players, Randy Kovalchuk of Tikariot, and youngster Mário Queiros of Cabo Azure, who’s appearance is humble, but the kid’s play has been world beating thus far from. Wukan Ogrovenić captains the side from the back, though the leaders of the club is considered to be Brankowić and football director Helmutow Reich, if there is a single leader at all.

Porto Nowi OR represent the left leaning man of Porto Nowi more than the corporate backed clubs DD Porto Nowi or AK Stanimir. The club is for profit, but it is by no means big business. The club maintains ties with students due to its genesis as a club for physical fitness instructors. Last season the side had division two’s top attack, and won the league by a single point. The side has bolstered itself in the offseason with two foreign signings on the back line, and Rekan Iwan Iwanić-Petarić bought from a club in Tikariot. Projections for the side are humble but supporters are confident. An internal poll put their average predicted place in tenth or eleventh.
Tactically, Kolić will start with a narrow diamond shape in the midfield. A lot of faith will be placed in the fullbacks to get up high and cross to the forwards while also working with Rupert Braun. The lowest lying midfielder will be putting in a lot of work. With two vets (Dix/Pejić) and a rookie (Cwijanović) lined up, OR at defensive midfield could be weak this year. The side midfielders have a role of playing out wide to cover the fullbacks, and tend to stick to this lane. The term “Carrilero” is used in this dossier for neutrality, but it must be noted that the term Kolić uses in interviews about the side calls Wladiwić and Stojanowić is, “Žičara” or, “cable car.”

The Preo Team picked up Andrija Koch as coach. Koch was a journeyman striker who moved into youth coaching as a speciality. With successes in Porto Nowi, Koch was given his first senior gig by the Ogroven region’s third most successful team in recent times. Koch’s team will have three new signings. Janson Ortega will be in goal, usurping Raykow Slobodanić. Ortega himself has been affiliated with the South Newlandian National Team. Rudi Baurenhaus was an impressive player for VZRH last year, a top twenty according to RekanSport, but without being assured the starting job, he found greener pastures in the Ogroven football scene. Godfrey Hawes from Brenecia will be a great boost to the back line.
The tactics of the side are more attack heavy, but not too attacking compared to the Sanfords or Capitals in the league. The midfield trio is naturally flat, though when attacking Grković will move to the box, while Brankiko Nikowić will stay back to positionally weaken counter attacking play. Abu-Ali Rasim is a more offensively minded center back then a lot of Rekan clubs usually face, but with years in the league midfields have seemingly adjusted to Rasim’s tricky motions. Ilija Markowić became a major force for the side this year, and was in a high percentile amongst Ogroven's midfielders. Could the Preo Team be a major force this year? According to their history, the side can pay for IFCF slots, or fall into the bottom quarter.

Ribar PRD continue to be funded by Ribar’s prestigious wine industry. The red and white shirts how off the logo of Karlow Wino, Ribar’s top shelf distributor. The team feels punch drunk after finishing with nineteen points last year, and jus barley getting into the top flight this season. For a club at the top of Hügeltaldom before, the downturn in the club has been humiliating. However, even in these darker times, the club has won a cup title in the past few years, and a top ten performance would do the side well. “We’re a club which has a bright future” Ribar PRD chairman Thomas Spitzbien said at the press conference to unveil marquee signing Alek Roder. Roder was part of a transfer window which saw multiple starters and former big players leave the side as new begins his reign at the Ribarka Stadion.
Tactically, Ribar are a 4-3-3 in like with Nowak’s coaching tastes. Bosko Nowak last year was able to coach his side into winning twice as many games. Vincent Mignolet is someone Nowak is high on, and Mignolet has been across seemingly every inch of the pitch already this season. Otto Marsden by contrast has been a predictable but solidly successful striker, with six goals, or just under half of Ribar’s preseason output win counting friendlies. Maximillian Domonwinjkski is another scoring threat, and perhaps the most popular captain within his own locker room. The club employs some youth league runners up from two years ago, mainly Axelsen and Schlatt, along with a good chunk on the bench.

Ruzhan are only to procure players connected to Hügeltaldom. Ruzhan has a commitment to the people of Hügeltaldom, and a respect for agricultural traditions in the region. The side is thus a domestic only side, the only one in the top flight. Aleksander Hranilović’s mother-in-law was the only relative of his from the region at the official signing event held in Stassengrade’s Fairgrounds. Hranilović, born in Ogroven to a Hügeltalian mother, dedicated the season to his mom Elisabeth Steuben. Adrion Winke has come into he club after getting few chances in Ogroven.
The side represents their fanbase with a five man midfield. Both Zürn and Winke act as a double pivot. Luka Staniwić, a Ribar born player, acts as the most attacking of the midfielders, while Tomi Djokowić is a half space wonder. The sole striker is Trakan Docik, who’s grandfather was a part of the Rekan Constitutional Committee. Docik was a solid player last year, but will have issues at the top level. Generally speaking, the class of the side is low. The side will play civilly, but that’s the wrong class. Jan Büchel is in his second tenure as Ruzhan's coach. Ruzhan will play cautiously. Sanford’s footballing portfolio has multiplied, but the first part of the PREMIER family outside of the Sanford lands is here in Zeta Reka. The club looks to re enter the IFCF events. To do so, the side isn’t heavily modified from last year, as Vralx-Ucyxi Lec hopes for internal growth. Some youngsters have also been brought in. Should the plans falter it’s possible Lec could be out the door. The diamond, three center backs, and attacking trident provide entertaining and highly attended football, but the backline will need to mature as the seasons go on, otherwise they might have one of the worst defenses, again. A few contract are up as well, and proponents of the PREMIER project might see this club rebuild in the upcoming seasons.

VZRH, known as, “The Army Men” in Zeta Reka, were in spitting distance of a double with just a single league loss, and total victory in the Republic’s Cup. Burins style of football isn’t flashy, with the main excitement being a solid pair of forwards, and two scoring wingers. Lysistrata Carter is also a major threat, but will be working a lot of yards for her age. James Lysander is a player who will need to hold down the fort. Djordje Tianić will look to create play, while Nikola Icowić prevents losses in tandem with the center backs.
“I’m excited to see how we play!” Captain Wukan Radovlawić said on social media before their first IFCF game of the season. The projections for the side are mixed, TV-4’s commentator and analyst Luka Lukić predicted the club would finish in second place again, “The signings of Dês Dïb and James Lysander will be big boosts to a roster with some aging players. The younger ones are entering their prime too.” Lukić’s new contemporary for the season, William Bernhard, had another view, “The side is too predictable, and I think they’ll go down a few places, fighting for the world’s stage.”
