I apologize for the lack of RPing, and as always the invitation to pull your players stands. I'm at rock bottom levels of motivation and would rather not force writing I don't enjoy. I will reevaluate my league but I do plan to continue at least scorinating it.

**First Season in Stellar Division

SEASON REPORT:
Over the previous 9 Vilitan Stellar Division seasons, just two teams have managed to reach the pinnacle and finish atop the table: Jungle Strike FC and Eastal Lunar. Of course, Jungle Strike FC are the winningest side in the history of the Vilitan Stellar Division and one of just two teams to have never been relegated from the upper echelon of domestic footsport in the Vilitan Union. Every similar historical run of dominance where two teams have shut out the competition in the Stellar Division as Jungle Strike FC and Eastal Lunar have been able to do recently - has included Jungle Strike FC. Just twice in history was there a more dominant run where just two teams had been able to win the Stellar Division for an extended period of time. Both were ten season long runs with the first being a trade off between the Yeaddin Owls and Jungle Strike FC in the early days of the Vilitan League and the second a trade off between Jungle Strike FC and the Turoki Tide in modern times. While the Venom have earned the majority of the recent Stellar Division titles with five of the last eight, it is Eastal Lunar who come into Vilitan League Season 69 as defending champions of the Stellar Division having won back to back titles for the first time in their history, and now having won 4 of the last 6 contested Stellar Division Titles.

It would not be Strike FC who would be Eastal Lunar's opponents on the opening night of Stellar Division action - a game traditionally played one day before the rest of the teams kick off their season. Instead, the defending champions would square off againts the other team that has never once been Relegated from the Stellar Division in the 68 previous cycles, Cednia Beach AFC. New Cednia Beach AFC signing Duke Stamp would watch on from the bench as the veteran Vanorian netminder Julius Miljeteig would get the start - an interesting dynamic for the first season at the new club with Stamp and Miljeteig being pitted head to head on the National Team level as Valanora and Hapilopper fought head to head for the top spot in their Groups as both sides looked to qualify for the World Cup Finals. It would be Cednia Beach AFC scoring first in the match with another new signing, Leon Michael Robes of Brookstation scoring on their debut, but the defending champions would fight back with a goal from Nindethana Nindethana as the season would kick off in a 1-1 draw for both sides.

Despite failing to claim victory in their opening match, there was still plenty to celebrate when the Astronauts returned home as they got their first win of the season against Rammsissil thanks to a 75th minute goal by Nii'aralo Milaaso. While Eastal Lunar had gotten themselves back on track, one team that was never off it was Cednia Beach AFC. With a choice between two National Team goalkeepers - one Veteran and one Protege in waiting, the Coconuts would rally with a victory over Sokattack Mliona after their opening matchday draw with the defending champions, setting up a top of the table clash with Jungle Strike FC at the Cednia Beach Center on Matchday 3. After winning with Duke Stamp in goal against the weaker Turorian side, it was the Veteran Miljeteig back in net against the powerhouse Venom. In a duel between national team veterans, Miljeteig (Cednia Beach) and Banijan National Team goalkeeper Wanda Kouyate would go head to head working hard to keep their opponents off the scoreboard. It seemed the match was destined for a goalless draw until a penalty kick was awarded to the home side in the 90th minute. With all the drama of a cup final, Turakia Diijelhma stepped up to win the game with its final kick, Cednia Beach taking all three points and claiming sole possession of the top spot in the Stellar Division table.

The loss would be the first of consecutive for Jungle Strike FC who would lose their next match at home to a Rammsissil side that got goals from Kristjan Kadilyik of Mercedini and Xuban Morua of Astograth to move themselves up into the Top 3. The Ramms standing was helped further when Cednia beach AFC's winning record was ended by Colonial Sile who, with goals from Kara Oveni, Dang Thuyet and Kala'a Yuliizala were able to come away with a 3-1 victory which also allowed defending champion Eastal Lunar to move back into the top spot in the table.

Just as the Astronauts had finally found their way to the top of the table, they would have to overcome the ultimate opponent to retain that position hosting Jungle Strike FC in prime time at Lunar Park. In another strong goalkeepers battle between Zelkki Milake Jr. and Wanda Kouyote it once again seemed both teams had done just enough to earn a point. With Eastal Lunar Leading with ten minutes to play, Jungle Strike FC were awarded a penalty after Lutara Makakio was adjudged to have been fouled inside the area. The resulting penalty from Cywrenta Vlintejni was saved however by Zelkki Milake Jr. and the re-bound was anxiously blasting well over the net preserving the Astronauts one goal advantage which they would keep through to full time. While the result would keep Eastal Lunar atop the table, it was now three consecutive matches without a win for Strike FC who now found themselves in the lower half of the league table.

Matchday 6 would have all the action with Eastal Lunar's defeat at the hands of Colonial Sile which dropped them all the way back to 5th place in the league table getting overshadowed by the 7-goal thriller at the National View Stadium where Lonngeylin Coast beat the Inland Peaks by a scoreline of 5-2 with 4 different players getting on the scoresheet and veteran Farfadillis netminder Lís Âllásí limiting the pressure on Lonngeylin Coasts aging defece which has just one player under the age of 36 - Adabian Sarrugi Akshak.

No matter their results, Eastal Lunar couldn't seem to break away from the pack the way they had done in seasons past with no fewer than six clubs maintaining a close hold within three points fo the leaders. The surprise, however, continued to be the fact that none of those six teams would be the holders of the Tropical Trophy, Jungle Strike FC. A goalless draw with Marine Coast United on Matchday 9 would mark Strike's eigth straight game without a win and seventh consecutive game without scoring a goal as the Venom couldn't find a way to take advantage of their possession with already five goalless draws on the season - and then they would follow it up with yet another goalless draw against relegation threatnd Surf Jettica on Matchday 10.

Finally the slide would end for Jungle Strike FC on Matchday 11 when they were able to get a goal from Turori National Team attacker Nua'oma Aikiki and, coupled with a shutout by Wanda Kayoute, would finally put the Venom back in the Win Column. The result would seem to spark the Venom who would win again in their next match thanks to a goal from Star-of-the-Game veteran defender Eivind Strommen. At the other end of the table, Eastal Lunar would open up their first multi-point gap of the season after heading into Tropicorp Park and sending a message to all challengers that they were prepared to become just the third team in Stellar Division history to win three consecutive league titles with a confidence inspiring 3-0 victory over then-second placed Tropicorp FC, dropping the Techies down to 5th in the table and putting the Astronauts advantage at two point over the Turoki Tide.

The final day of competition before the half way break was one of the highest scoring in recent Vilitan League memory with two teams socring four goals and just three. Of course, all the attention was on Lunar Park where leaders Eastal Lunar would play their second true top of the table clash in as many days. After having previously disposed of Tropicorp FC, it was now the Turoki Tide's turn to challenge for the top spot and get shut down by the defending champions. Nindethana Nindethana and Kentu'u Umaka'a had the goals for Eastal Lunar in the 2-0 victory that dropped the Tide to 4th and allowed Colonial Sile, after their own high scoring 4-2 victory over Mliona-Lpaka joined the conversation. The Astronauts would take a 2 point lead with them into the half way break with a further two points back to Tropicorp FC in third.

. .

The second half of the Stellar Division season kicked off in a fairly anti-climactic fashion with just two of the seven matches having a winner. Of course, both results had serious implications on one end of the table or the other as the goal by Farfadillite youngster Eigil Aalefjær gave Jaguar Moreda a 1-0 victory over Surf Jettica, pushing the Jaguars comfortably clear of the relegation zone while the Surfers were still seeking their first ever Stellar Division victory, sitting on just 4 points in 14 games. Elsewhere in Crosaibi, Marine Coast United's total aspirations were dented by Turorian side Mliona-Lpaka who stole three points on the road that would drop the Mariners to a six-point deficit behind leaders Eastal Lunar.

Matchday 16 would see a much different story with 6 of 7 matches having a winner with two games featuring the Top 4 Teams in the Stellar Division Table. Still searching for their first ever Stellar Division Title, Rammsissil would host leaders Eastal Lunar hoping to close the gap. The Ramms would do just that thanks to a 16th minute goal from Astograth's Xuban Morua helping Rammsissil to move within just three points of the leaders. Over at Tropicorp Park, Tropicorp FC hosted second place side Colonial Sile with the two sides fighting to a 1-1 draw to both stay within reach of the title.

The Colonials had a major opportunity to take control at the top of the table after Eastal Lunar were held to a 1-1 draw on the road to Inland Peaks on Matchday 16 but Sile were also locked up in a tight battle with the Turoki Tide that ended in a 2-2 draw. The compression at the top allowed the field to close in with just 9 points separating leaders Eastal Lunar from 10th place side Inland Peaks FC with ten games to play.

If fans of Surf Jettica were still optimistic of collecting at least one victory during what was more and more looking to be a short-lived stay in the Stellar Division, many might have changed their tune after the Surfers were completely upended by Tropicorp FC at Tropicorp Park. Of course, it did not help that Surf Jettica were reduced to 10 players just five minutes into the first half but Tropicorp FC got goals from Torgnyr Bondarov and Reyna Best in support of a hat trick for Laari Kallimanis which helped jump the Techies back up to third place in the Stellar Division Table.

As if the table wasn't already tight enough, Jungle Strike FC finally found the goalscoring prowess they had been lacking thus far in the campaign on Matchday 18 getting goals from Midnight Strike and Cywrenta Vlintejni to upend leaders Eastal Lunar 2-0 at the Lonngeylin Coliseum. The result completely erased the Astronauts advantage atop the table with Colonial Sile now sitting just one point back in second place - followed by a gaggle of four teams waiting in the wings 3 points back of the lead. One of those four teams was Marine Coast United, who would host the Astronauts at Marine World Park on Matchday 20.

One of the smallest stadiums in the Vilitan League, Marine World Park gained protected site status from the Vilitan Authority on the Conservation of Heritage (VACH) and while the stadium does offer modern amenities to fans, much of the architecture and ambience remains exactly as it would have looked 55 cycles prior when Marine Coast United last won the Stellar Division title. In lieu of great stadium expansions over the years Marine World Park accommodates additional fans in unique ways including overlooks on the top of nearby buildings, a gameday Dirigible and fanzones with giant screens in nearby parks. Every option was being utilized in full force on top of the 57,500 fans filling every seat at Marine World Park as the third placed Mariners hosted two-time defending champion Eastal Lunar with the chance to go top of the table with a victory. Captain Enzoril Alabonni would lead the Mariners out onto the field followed by Græntfjaller Goalkeeper Björnólfur Ernestisson who would be up against the veteran 46 year old Eastal Lunar goalkeeper coach and former Vilitan National Team goalkeeper Zelkki Milake as the younger Milake Jr. was ruled out for the critical top of the table matchup after a training injury.

Adding on the rooftop fans, those floating above in the Dirigibles and others with a line of site to the pitch it was estimated that just over 71,000 fans were on hand to see absolutely no noteworthy scoring chances over the opening forty five minutes of play as the two sides may have done more to engage the fans if they had actually played a game of chess at the center circle. After the break, however, the tempo of the game had changed completely and Marine Coast United came out in a full press on Milake's goal.

It didn't take long for fortune to favor the hosts as Marine Coast United caused confusion in the Astronauts penalty area forcing a corner kick that perhaps did not need to be conceded. From the result spot kick it was current Vilitan National Team star Fyin Miateal who rose highest and made excellent contact with the ball as the elder Milake could do absolutely nothing but watch the ball hit the back of the net. The fans in Crosaibi erupted in celebration as - at least for the moment, their team was back on the pinnacle of Vilitan Footsport. Marine Coast United would hold on for the next 40 minutes and make it official. 54 Seasons after having last won the Stellar Division, they were back atop the Stellar Division table with just 6 Games to play.

Marine Coast United would build a gap at the top with victory over Sokattack Mliona on Matchday 21 but conceded the gap right back to the field the very next game as they were unable to tame Jungle Strike FC at home, the Venom getting goals from Lutara Makakio and Midnight Strike to allow Tropicorp FC to close back to within one point of the lead. While the classic matchup between Marine Coast United and Strike FC had drawn the highest live viewership on the day, the focus of the highlight reels were on two different matches with wild storylines. Canopy Gate was rocking in anticipation of the Seraai Showdown rivalry matchup between Jaguar Moreda and third placed Eastal Lunar FC. The Astronauts had dropped points in their last three league matches and Jaguar Moreda sensed an opportunity to get a big victory over their rival. The Eastal Lunar players had other ideas, however. The first goal came from Nii'arala Milaaso in the 23rd minute and the Astronauts doubled their advantage through Nindethana Nindethana in the 29th minute - taking a 2-0 lead into the half. Milaaso would score again early in the second half as the game was quickly moving well beyond the reach of mid-table Jaguar Moreda, but with the stands packed the Jaguars were still hoping to at least get on the scoresheet. As the pressed forward late in an attempt to entertain the fans, the game turned from a disappointment to an embarrassment for the home side. Olly Masiku and Limu Katarakhna turned up the pain with stoppage time goals before the referee mercifully ended the match with Eastal Lunar recording their biggest ever victory over their rivals, 5-0.

It wasn't the only big result on the day, however, and the other one was a surprise to the nation. With five games to play in the Stellar Division season, winless Surf Jettica already had their relegation and trip back to the Declasse for Season 70 confirmed. They had unfinished business before leaving the Top Flight of Vilitan Footsport, however: They still wanted a win. They would get that victory in comfortable fashion on Matchday 22 with the game winner scored by Eastfielder Tasneem Wolf and Loic Daumre holding on for the shutout as Surf Jettica defeated Sokattack Mliona 3-0. While it would have no bearing on the standings for Jettica, the result made the rest of the Stellar Division breath a sigh of relief as the gap from Sokattack Mliona up to their 12th place rivals Mliona-Lpaka AFC who were more concerned about climbing into the Champions League places then having to deal with a relegation battle.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 22:
::STANDINGS WITH 4 GAMES TO PLAY::
1 :: [38] - Marine Coast
2 :: [38] - Colonial Sile
3 :: [37] - Tropicorp FC
4 :: [36] - Eastal Lunar
5 :: [36] - Cednia Beach

A key Top 5 clash at Colonial Field in Sile would end goalless between the hosts and leaders Marine Coast United. The result would be a four way tie on 39 pointsatop the table with Eastal Lunar holding the edge on goal differential after their 3-2 vicory over Mliona-Lpaka with Cednia Beach AFC now sandwiched between them. It was without question the closest Stellar Division Battle of the modern era with 9 teams still mathematically in the hunt for the title with just three games to play.

A Big win for Colonial Sile over Inland Peaks on Matchday 24 would see them leap to the top of the table on Goals Scored over Cednia Beach AFC, with Marine Coast United - also having an identical 11-9-4 record, just one goal differential behind the two in what had become a three-way tie at the top after Eastal Lunar FC's 1-0 defeat to Lonngeylin Coast. At the other end of the table, the highly anticipated battle of Mliona would see Mliona-Lpaka put four goals past South Newlandian goalkeeper Fuse Kyonaga putting the rubber stamp on Sokattack Mliona's ticket back to the Declasse Division after two seasons of play in the Stellar Division.

THROUGH MATCHDAY 24:
::STANDINGS WITH 2 GAMES TO PLAY::
1 :: [42] - Colonial Sile
2 :: [42] - Cednia Beach
3 :: [42] - Marine Coast
4 :: [39] - Eastal Lunar
5 :: [38] - Rammsissil

After countless seasons of having led the Stellar Division through the seasons half way point only to see things fall away in the second half of the campaign, Colonial Sile had snuck around all season long as their new players such as Hapiloppan Ace Boone adapted to life in the Stellar Division, then, in the second half of the season came on strong to put themselves in position for a first ever Stellar Division title. The Colonials would do everything they had to do on the penultimate matchday with Kiirdallen Aeroluzzi leading the way in a 4-1 victory over Jaguar Moreda that would give the Sile based club what would seem to be a sizable advantage thanks to three goals differential gained despite still being level on points with two other teams heading into the final matchday. Cednia Beach AFC only managed a 1-0 victory on a goal by Turakia Diijelhma over Inland Peaks FC as their hopes of being the first Turorian champion of the Stellar Division since Season 52 took a hit. Now trailing Colonial Sile not only on goals scored but also by two goals differential, Cednia Beach AFC also arguably had the most difficult matchup of the title contenders on the final matchday, having to square off against Rammsissil who were still in contention for the final Champions League place. Marine Coast United pulled level with Cednia Beach AFC on Goals Differential after their 1-0 victory over Surf Jettica - a shutout by Björnólfur Ernestisson in support of goals from Fyin Miateal and trainee prospect Mikele Alasita keeping Marine Coast United in the hunt as the third of three teams entering the final matchday on 45 points.

Final Matchday Preview:

The title would be decided among those three teams or defending champion Eastal Lunar who would be assured a third consecutive Stellar Division title with a final matchday victory over the Turoki Tide AND all three teams above them losing their final match. With historians all but certain that it was the first time in the history of the Stellar Division that three teams would enter the final matchday level on points - and nearly level on goal differntial - it was entirely possible that the title would be decided not just based on whether teams won or lost on the final matchday but by how many goals they scored or conceded in doing so.

Three teams. One Winner - and the most dominant team of the era sitting waiting in the wings if they should all three mess up on the final matchday.

1. Colonial Sile @. Mliona-Lpaka: The Colonials had an uncharacteristic slow start to the season after adding a new face in Hapilopper National Team defender Ace Boone while Adabian National Team goalkeeper Satchit Chandrasekar, Delaclav defender Wilfrid Gouin and Jaguar Defender Dang Thuyet each settled in for their second season at the club joining fellow international stars including Azurean midfielder Narciso Maciel and Chromia's attacker Kara Oveni. Colonial Sile slowly climbed the table in the first half of the season and snuck into second place at the seasons half way mark staying inside the Top 5 the remainder of the season until moving top on Goal Differential after Matchday 24. There had been no stand out star performance on the season for Sile thus far just a strong team performance of consistency after dropping their first two matches of the season to Lonngeylin Coast and Tropicorp FC. While three points alone against Mliona-Lpaka would not be enough to secure the first ever Stellar Division title for Colonial Sile, a repeat of their 4 goal performance in defeating Mliona-Lpaka at Colonial Field on Matchday 13 would go a long way to securing the top spot. Traveling to the Iobabao Legendary Park and getting a high-scoring result, however, could be difficult and possibly open the door for one of the two primary title challengers to steal the League on the final day.

Cednia Beach AFC v. Rammsissil: While Cednia Beach AFC would have the toughest opponent on paper in the Final Matchday title chase, they would also be the only title challenger playing at home for the crucial deciding match. With strong contributions from their National Team calibre Goalkeeping duo of Vanorian Julius Miljeteig and Duke Stamp of Hapilopper, Cednia Beach AFC also added the goal scoring talents of Brookstations Leon Michael Robes to help push them into contention this season. Cednia Beach AFC have won the Stellar Division three times and are the only Turorian team to have ever done so - but last accomplished it during Season 51 a gap of 18 seasons since their last title. All of Turori could influence the final outcome with Mliona-Lpaka hosting leaders Colonial Sile and Cednia Beach AFC needing to catch up at least two goals differential to the leaders. The only previous meeting between Cednia Beach AFC and Rammsissil this season took place at the Sissil Bank Stadium and ended in a 1-1 draw.

Marine Coast United @. Jaguar Moreda: After peaking at the top of the table form Matchday 20 through 22, Marine Coast United have put themselves in position to earn their first Stellar Division Title since Season 15. Marine Coast United boast one of the most diverse squads in the Stellar Division with 10 different nationalities represented in the first team roster. Vilitan trainee Mikele Alasita was the newest call up for Marine Coast United who boast a number of National Team players including goalkeeper Björnólfur Ernestisson of Græntfjall, Medeiro, Deodato of Cabo Azure and Cuoabaza Orani'aoa of Turori in addition to their Vilitan core consisting of National Team midfielders Fyin Miateal and Lental Purama, Utility player Enzoril Alabonni and forwards Fishtii Blikala and Tyoasi Klipark. Marine Coast United are also the only club in the Vilitan League to have rostered players from Eastfield Lodge: Backup Goalkeeper Jam'Aan Coach and defender Trinidad Chester. While the Mariners come in with a two goals difference gap to the leaders and a further gap of 16 goals scored in the second tiebreaker, they will have the advantage of playing the one team among the Top 3 matches that has already been subjected to a number of lopsided defeats during the season. Jaguar Moreda were defeated 4-1 at Colonial Field just one matchday prior and just three games before that were defeated by Eastal Lunar 5-0 at Canopy Gate, the venue for their final matchday fixture against Marine Coast United. It may take a similar result for the Mariners to overcome both Colonial Sile and Cednia Beach AFC on the final matchday. The Mariners won the previous meeting between the sides at Marine World Park by a 2-1 scoreline.

In the unlikely event that all three of the leaders fails to secure even a single point on the final matchday, four time Stellar Division champion Eastal Lunar would be ready to take their place with their final match on the road at the Turoki Tide.

All eyes were on the action at the Iobabao Legendary Park in Mliona as Colonial Sile could close things out comfortably with a dominating performance against Mliona-Lpaka. It was a rough opening first half for the home side who were taking no chances with injuries having nothing to truly play for other than Turorian pride on the final matchday. Still, player safety came first and after picking up early knocks the Miona-Lpaka coaching staff took Tyoasi Klipark and Apoxian Wisdom Mochan out of the game inside the first 35 minutes. It wasn't long after Mochan went off that Colonial Sile would take the lead after Local player Canii Sololi latched onto a booming goal kick from Satchit Chandrasekar before firing quickly past Prisc Corrales to get the Colonials one step closer to the Title. Colonial Sile were still celebrating on the sideline when play resumed it seemed and Mliona-Lpaka quickly pressed forward and answered through Liamo Hutreb - the attacking substitute who had just entered the game less than five minutes prior in place of Wisdom Mochan. For all the excitement late in the half things were right back to square one in Mliona tied at 1-1.

This was great news for Cednia Beach AFC who were the only one of the three primary title challengers who were contesting their final match in front of their home fans. Cednia Beach AFC had taken the lead early on in their match against Rammsissil after TJUN-ian defender Mantfombi Dlamini headed home a corner kick in the 26th minute. There was a brief silence at the Cednia Beach Center when Colonial Sile had taken a brief lead through Sololi's goal then roars of celebration just minutes later when the notification of Hutreb's equalizer came in from Iobabao Legendary Park.

With the most to do but perhaps the easiest opponent to do it against, Marine Coast United were still optimistic of their chances despite entering the day placed third in the table on tiebreakers. They would quickly find however that Jaguar Moreda were not going to walkover and let them take the victory. The home side took the lead in the 9th minute through Kudluk Tootoo but Marine Coast United struck back through their youngest player, Mikele Alasita in the 33rd minute who was able to cheekily chip the ball past Baker Park's Kelsey Vickers. The Mariners would be back in the hole again before the half time interval however as Farfadillis midfielder Eigil Aalefjær restored Jaguar Moreda's lead as they looked to give their fans something to celebrate at the end of a long season.

1 :: [48] +10 - W - Cednia Beach
2 :: [46] +11 - D - Colonial Sile
3 :: [45] +8 - L - Marine Coast
4 :: [43] +11 - D - Eastal Lunar

The dream for Colonial Sile would quickly start to unwind in the second half as the unintentional substitution of a slightly injured veteran Apoxian by the name of Wisdom Mochan would ultimately play a major role on deciding the Season 69 Stellar Division Champion. When the match resumed in the second half it would be all Liamo Hutreb as the Turorian Local from Lpaka itself would score a first career hattrick, denying Colonial Sile the three points they needed to secure the title and putting a dent in their goal differential. With an additional goal scored by Hapiloppan midfielder Oral Roundtree, Mliona-Lpaka AFC were sitting on a commanding 4-1 lead with just 15 minutes left to play in the season.

Over at the Cednia Beach Center, the celebrations were beginning in the stands. Just minutes after play resumed in the second half, the Coconuts got a crucial second goal off the foot of local hero Turorian attacker Turakia Diijelhma. Already knowing that Colonial Sile were being held by Cednia Beach AFC's rivals in Mliona-Lpaka, the cheers could be heard all the way in Eelandii as each subsequent goal was scored at the Iobabao Legendary Park putting a Colonial Sile comeback more and more in doubt. With just 15 minutes to play, Cednia Beach AFC were in the drivers seat at the top of the Stellar Division Table.

Over in Seraai, things were not getting any better for Marine Coast United who struggled to find a way to score again with Kelsey Vickers denying every opportunity the Mariners tossed at her. Things in Seraai were running a little faster than they were elsewhere and Marine Coast United had all but thrown in the towel as th match was coming to a close. It was a defeatest strategy for the Mariners who still had plenty to play for even if they did not win the title, as they needed at least a point to ensure a spot in the Champions League. It would not come, however, as the full time whistle in Seraai was the first to blow, Marine Coast United falling 2-1 to Jaguar Moreda and losing out on their chance to re-claim the Stellar Division Title.

With less than five minutes to play elsewhere, the celebrations were already well underway in Cednia Beach. Colonial Sile would need a miracle to come back from the deficit they had accrued at the Iobabao Legendary Field, and it simply wasn't going to happen. As matches across Vilita and Turori came to an end, a champion was crowned and it would be the only one of the four teams who started the final matchday with a chance to win the Stellar Division that would have the opportunity to celebrate in front of their home fans, as Cednia Beach AFC won the Vilitan Stellar Division for the fourth time in their history. Having collected just 48 points in 26 games, Cednia Beach AFC's point total was the second lowest of a Champion in the history of the Stellar Division, surpassed only by the slim 44 point total by the Turoki Tide when they won the 49th Stellar Division season. For much of the campaign any thought of a Football Association of Turori sanctioned team winning the Stellar Division title in its 69th season was generally focused at Tropicorp FC who were inside the Top 5 from Matchday 3 through Matchday 23. By contrast, Cednia Beach AFC were placed between 5th and 9th in the table all the way through until Matchday 22 when they began a string of six consecutive victories to close out the season including five consecutive shutouts by Miljeteig and Stamp. Incredibly, Cednia Beach AFC did not top the table at any point in the season up until the very last matchday, taking the lead only when it counted, when the final whistle blew on the 26th and final day of competition.

There was no bigger story to start off the Declasse Season then the presence of the most accomplished club to ever play in the Declasse Division, the Yeaddin Owls. With the second most all-time Stellar Division titles, the Owls returned to the Declasse for the first time in over 20 seasons. While no one in the Vilitan North was happy to see the Owls finish bottom of the Stellar Division table with just one victory - the fewest in a season in team history, some were quietly excited about the chance for the club to claim its first league title in over 50 seasons if they could bounce back and win the Declasse Division. Unfortunately things did not get off to a great start for the Owls who would drop their first match at the Coliseum of the Inurahtii with Inura Forests taking a 3-1 victory and humbling the Owls en route back to the Lirai Asku Castle realizing they could have a long hard battle ahead of them to win the Declasse Title and return to the Stellar Division for Season 70. The Owls slow start would continue, however, as they would fall 2-1 to Yutzie Sorma at the Castle followed by a heavy 0-3 defeat to Declasse New Comers on Matchday 3 leaving the Owls searching for answers and looking for new strategy as the season began.

It would be no surprise that the Owls new head coach was already out of a job three matches into the Declasse Season without a victory but the change was warranted and effective. Yeaddin would finally win their first game of the season, 1-0 over the Cednia Rovers on Matchday 4 under the transitional leadership of Ruvek Edgeli - the kin of now famous Turori National Team head coach Tarek Edgeli.

While still mired in the lower half of the table after their poor start, the Owls continued to show flashes of their expectations, including in their 3-0 win over promotion chasing side Inura Forests. At the same time on the Southern portion of the main Vilitan land mass, Arcticala Inlet played hosts to a high scoring affair with Tivali City that did not go well for the Electricians as Tivali City would win the game 5-2 to bolster their own promotion chances while wondering if there was even enough time for the Electricians to climb out of the relegation zone and preserve their league status for another season.

It wouldn't be until a little past the halfway mark of the season that the Yeaddin Owls would finally start to find their form, though some wondered if it would be too little too late. The Owls really showed their potential on Matchday 15 when they travelled to then second placed side Yutzie Sorma and put four goals past the Yutzies in a 4-0 rout. Björnólfur Ernestisson had the shutout for the Owls with a hattrick from Krytenia's Robert Reeder complimenting the consolation tally from defender Rojara Tiones. Despite the victory, however, the Owls still found themselves 8 points back of Inura Forests in second place while unbeaten Makosile continued to lead at the top of the table.

The Yutzies saw their promotion odds slipping by the game as following their defeat to the Owls they would drop a critical matchup at the Coliseum of the Inurahtii as the Inura Forests took a 2-1 victory to solidify their position within the top 2. The Forests hold on the second place would take a hit on Matchday 18 howeer as they were defeated at home by Turorian rivals the Cednia Rovers. It was a crucial victory to preserve the Rovers own promotion chances as it pulled them to within 5 poitns of the Forests with 6 points to play. More critically, however, both Tivali City and Yutzie Sorma were able to pull within three points of the promotion challenge.

While the dismal first half performance by the Yeaddin Owls seemed to pull them out of title contention, their strong second half form would cause great shakeups in the standings as they continued to put the pressure on the Top 5. Goals from Jeppe Fly, Tukaara Milanzi and Jung-Bok Tarak contributed to a 4-2 victory over Kartio Weici and Tivali City and denied the Tivalians the chance to move into the Top 2 after Inura Forests 2-0 defeat on the road to 5th place Kiiarana City.

With Six games to play Makosile United maintained their unbeaten record and an 8 point gap back to the tie for second place with Yutzie Sorma holding the Goal Differential advantage over the Inura Forests. The two had opened up a slight gap over the challengers with Tivali City sitting four points back in 4th place followed by the Yeaddin Owls who had surged up to 5th in the table but remained 5 points out of the promotion places. At the other end of the table, things were not looking good for Arcticala Electrical who trailed 12th place Lopinka Rovers by 3 points with Lonngeylin City between the two 1 point from safety.

However, the Electricians still had some fight left in them and when they had the chance to reignite an old rivalry for the first time in 9 seasons, they took full advantage of it. In what was surely the highlight of the campaign thus far, Farfish defender Elosorjá Runimahiri scored twice from corner kicks while Astograths Argoitz Lardapide added a third for the home side. The Arcticala Electrical Stadium was brimming with electricity in a way it hadn't done all season long as the big win also helped the Electricians climb out of the relegation zone. The defeat was crushing for the Owls, however, after fighting their way back into promotion contention, the Inura Forests 2-0 victory over relegation threatened Lonngeylin City would see them re-establish a 3 point hold on the second spot and an 8 point gap over the Owls with 5 games to play.

Makosile United came to a packed house as they entered with an 8 point gap and could clinch the Declasse Division Title and long awaited return to the Stellar Division wit h a win and a defeat by the Inura Forests. Instead, however, the Makos would suffer their first defeat of the campaign as the Kionao Locals got goals from Leen Spalink and Efnakia's Este Kakto to keep their own Promotion chances mathematically alive. The Makos were fortunate that the Inura Forests were held to a draw by Arcticala Inlet leaving the gap at 7 points to second place.

After having gone unbeaten for the balance of the Season, Makosile United seemed to not want to secure the Declasse Title in style and would back into the title despite a defeat to relegation threatened Jlinal Cove FC thanks to the Kionao Locals 3-0 thrashing of the Forests in a Turorian derby in a prime-time performance from locals Delaclava born goalkeeper Finlan Cloarec. The result was plenty meaningful for the Forests however as with just two games to play their advantage over third placed Yutzie Sorma and Tivali City had been reduced to a single point.

A win over the Lopinka Rovers on the penultimate matchday would give the Forests some breathing room as both Yutzie Sorma and Tivali City would lose. However, promotion was still not assured as the Kionao Locals, who defeated Yutzie Sorma on the strength of a pair of goals from Efnakia's Este Kakto, were still just two points behind the Forest heading into the final matchday. Due to the Locals league-leading goal diffenretial and the Forests actually having a near even goal differential, Inura needed a win to secure the second position and promotion to the Stellar Division for the first time in their history. Unfortunately for the promotion hopefuls, their final game of the season would be against the already-crowned champions Makosile United. The Makos were using the match to prepare themselves for the Stellar Division and had no intention of making things easy on the Forests. Two first half goals for the Makos would silence the Coliseum of the Inurahtii and now all eyes were on twii.tur as they followed along back in Vilita as the Kionao Locals were on the road to Declasse Debutants Seraai Tiaca. As quickly as word trickled in that Este Kakto had scored the opening goal for the Locals, the notification came again. Then once more. The Efnakian attacker who had been mostly quiet for the first half of the season had put in a "Stellar" second half performance culminating with a natural hattrick against Seraai Tiaca. The Locals would add a seocnd half penalty kick conversion from Issac Lafrenière of Kelssek to put the icing on their Stellar Division return. At the other end of the table, Arcticala Inlet narrowly avoided relegation finishing one point clear of the Lopinka Rovers while a second half collapse would see Lonngeylin City ending their 32 season run in the Vilitan League, dropping down to the Tropicorp Lower League for the first time since its inception.

Vilitan Cup Knockout Rounds:

Quarter Finals (Two-Legs)
Tropicorp FC [VSD] 2 - 2 Jungle Strike FC [VSD] *Jungle Strike FC Advance on Penalty Kicks
Colonial Sile [VSD] 0 - 1 Eastal Lunar [VSD]
Lonngeylin Coast [VSD] 0 - 2 Marine Coast United [VSD]
Jaguar Moreda [VSD] 0 - 4 Mliona-Lpaka [VSD]

Just one season after A record three Tropicorp Lower League sides made it through to the Vilitan Cup Quarter Final round, it would be an all-Stellar Division lineup in the QUarter Finals with minimal surprise on which teams would advance through to the Semi-Finals. Both of the semi final fixtures would see the scores level after 180 minutes of play requiring extra time and ultimately penalty kicks to decide both matchups. In both cases it would be the second leg road team that would come away with the victory as Eastal Lunar would advance at Marine World Park while Mliona-Lpaka would silence the Lonngeylin Coliseum by earning their second straight trip to the Vilitan Cup Final.

Semi Finals (Two-Legs)
Eastal Lunar [VSD] 1 - 1 Marine Coast United [VSD] *Eastal Lunar Advance on Penalty Kicks
Mliona-Lpaka [VSD] 1 - 1 Jungle Strike FC [VSD] *Mliona-Lpaka Advance on Penalty Kicks

After having narrowly missed out on a third consecutive Stellar Division title, Eastal Lunar would get another chance at major silverware as they contested the Vilitan Cup Final for the first time in four season. Their opponents, Mliona Lpaka AFC, would be returning to the cup final for the second consecutive season after having lost 2-1 to Jungle Strike FC in the final during Season 68. For the Turorian club they were looking for their first top level silverware since Vilitan League Season 49 when they last won the Vilitan Cup and would be looking to make it a Turorian sweep after Cednia Beach AFC clinched the Stellar Division Title for Turori earlier in the week.

Things did not start well for Mliona-Lpaka as slower-than-normally-aging Audioslavian striker Olly Masiku put Eastal Lunar in front just 7 minutes into the first half. Mliona-Lpaka would respond quickly, however, levelling the scores not long after through Hapilopper's Oral Roundtree who converted a long range effort past Zelkki Milake Jr. A turning point in the match came in the 40th minute when Eastal Lunar were reduced to 10 players following a foul inside the area which allowe Turorian defender Narri Sebapilo to put Mliona-Lpaka in the lead from the penalty spot just before half time.

Both sides were interested in playing cautious in the second half and despite the gap in quality between the two sides, the additional player on the field for Mliona-Lpaka served as a true levelling force in the match, keeping Eastal Lunar from being able to leverage their highly skilled attacking midfielders in the way they most commonly expected to. As the match wore on Mliona-Lpaka, a club that had suffered with very little to celebrate over the previous 20 seasons, could sense a special moment coming and strengthened their resolve to ensure it would not slip away. As the final whistle blew, Mliona-Lpaka AFC had taken the Vilitan Cup and ensured a Turorian Sweep of the League-Cup Double for Vilitan League Season 69, Nice.

Final
Mliona-Lpaka [VSD] 2-1 Eastal Lunar [VSD]

IFCF Liga B Champions Cup: Lirai Asku Castle, Yeaddin, Vilita (62,000 Capacity)
Image

Location :: Yeaddin is located in the Vilitan North-East between the Parra Kala Mountains and the Turviliki Sea. It is generally considered the 5th Largest City in Vilita though it has fluctuated between 4th and 7th in actual size. Yeaddin has a sister city of similar geographical, footprint and population size in Terrarokka with the satellite city of Nusira Lionta between them on the outskirts of Terrarokka.

Yeaddin's Air Transportation hub is accessible from most Atlantian Oceania based international terminals. Those traveling to Yeaddin from outside of Atlantian Oceania will likely fly in to Alikki-Corra before catching local transportation - either Air, Land or Sea, to get up to Yeaddin on the opposite side of Vilita's Main Island. Yeaddin has been a host city for numerous World Cup, Cup of Harmony, AOCAF, AOHC and UICA final among other competition and as such maintains an appropriate infrastructure to host major sporting competitions.

Stadium :: This historical aged castle was converted into a sporting arena by the Yeaddin Owls who promised to pay for maintenance on the Castle Exterior while building their stadium against the vacant inner walls of the structure. Despite its relatively low capacity compared with other stadiums in the Tropics of Vilita, the atmosphere provided by the Lirai Asku Castle both inside and out makes it a popular choice to host international matches in World Cup, Cup of Harmony, Baptism of Fire and AOCAF competition.

While much of the stadium and its surroundings are considered historical, there are modern amenities available as well as required to support major international sport including public transportation, vending and temperature control on an as-required basis. Upon return to the Stellar Division, the Lirai Asku Castle underwent an internal upgrade including modernizations to the Media Support Areas, Interview Rooms and Game Boxes. Team Benches are now enclosed dugout style enclosures to guard teams against the effects of inclement weather and Locker Rooms have been updated with modern shower, medical and fitness amenities including workout rooms. Yoga mats are available upon request from the grounds crew. The Lirai Asku Castle is also in shared proximity to the Owl's Castle Academy, a top class youth development facility home to Vilita's leading youth program.

The Lirai Asku Castle also hosted the opening ceremonies of the XIV Winter Olympic Games (Inset) as well as the Gold Medal final of the Ice Hockey competition in a special outdoor extravaganza.

Postcard:

Location :: Cednia is the Vacation Center of the Island Emirate boasting the best Coastlines, nightlife and business opportunities within Turori in a sprawling coastal city.

Stadium :: The Cednia Beach Center is one of the purest examples of capitalism and expansion in the Vilitan Leagues. Originally a modest plot for a modest team, the stadium has risen along with the rise of the club. Now, a world class stadium capacity wise, there are concessions that were made. The training grounds outside the center are second rate, and parking is virtually non-existent at the complex. Public transportation - including your own two feet, would be required for fans to access the stadium. Thats alright though, plenty of lodging surrounds the local area within walking distance.

The Cednia Beach Center has been home to International competitions for many seasons including the Cup of Harmony 53 Final contested between Darmen and New Montreal States. New Montreal States ran out 4-2 winners on the day in what was an otherwise quiet and successful day at the park for fans attending at the Cednia Beach Center, showcasing the ability for Cednia to host the marquee matchups of International Sport despite the close confines of the stadium with its Cednia surroundings. Just two cycles later, the Cednia Beach Center would be home to one of the the most talked about World Cup Finals of its era, when Atlantian Oceania powerhouse Starblaydia in search of their record 6th World Cup took on an Audioslavia side that had made more World Cup Finals without ever winning than any other nation. In that game, Audioslavia finally prevailed to earn their first World Cup title while Starblaydia still seeks that elusive 6th title.

Primary Tenants :: Cednia Beach AFC currently compete in the Vilitan Stellar Division. Cednia Beach AFC remain the only Turorian club to ever win the Vilitan Stellar Division Title and can also boast the UICA Globe Cup, Atlantian Oceania Champions League and Vilitan Cup among their honors.

IFCF Cup Winners Cup: Iobabao Legendary Park, Mliona, Turori (90,500)

Location :: The Island Emirate of Turori has four main zones as part of is primary inhabited areas. The majority of Turori's Population resides on the south eastern portion of Turori's main Island. This includes the Capital City of Almintora, the surrounding capital region including Cednia and the purpose built sportropolis of Eelandii as well as on the Northern shore the city of Kionao. While Almintora is still the largest city in the Island Emirate, Cednia and its associate Beach life at the southern tip of Turori's main Island have become one of its most popular for entertainment as well as holiday style tourism. Outside of this, the large portion of Turori's remaining population are in the Mliona region of Turori's smaller Island, where folks who want to be detached from the hustle bustle of the Capital City life tend to reside.

Mliona is a growing technology hub within the Island Emirate - including the headquarters of two of the most well known Turorian corporations: The Cocoa-bo Eatery Group and the Turorian Weather & Information Interchange (twii.tur)
Image

Stadium & Tenant History :: The rising success of Mliona-Lpaka in the modern era of the Vilitan League necessitated the renovation of the old Mliona Park stadium to improve not only capacity but quality of experience as it was no longer just locals but foreign visitors and clubs travelling to Turori to visit the stadium. While some funding came from the clubs success, others came from Turorian Tourism funding to ensure visiting fans wanted to come back to Turori after their first impressions. After the renovations were complete, the stadium was renamed after former Mliona-Lpaka and Turori National Team star Kaboafo Iobabao who also holds the record for most goals in a single season for Mliona-Lpaka AFC.

Mliona-Lpaka are heavily funded by the Cocoa-bo Eatery who serve as the teams primary kit sponsor as well as a major presence inside the arena with over 60% of the food services in the venue provided by Cocoa-bo. Cocoa-bo, an establishment taking its name directly from the beloved national animal of Turori, started as a small dessert shop in Kionao. However, it was only after they added chocolate topped drinks to their menu that their popularity started to soar. As more and more patrons scooped up their chocolate flavored pick-me-ups, demand for the Cocoa-bo product skyrocketed and soon new franchised locations were popping up all throughout Turori. Shifting to more of a social 'hang-out' then just a casual place to drop in, get a dessert, and leave, the new locations started adding small foods such as Bagels for the morning, Soups and Sandwiches for Lunch or Dinner and Salads for the entire day. The Cocoa-bo stadium experience includes many of the most popular Cocoa-bo offerings as well as some more traditional stadium foods. Because of the close association with Cocoa-bo, the Iobabao Legendary Park was one of the central investigative focuses during the infamous Cocoabo Inquisition led by Sir Barnaselphus of the dreamed realm. It is possible that the recent downturn in performance of Mliona-Lpaka AFC, who had previously been the first Turorian team to win the Vilitan Cup but also saw relegation to the Vilitan Declasse, as one of the contributing factors to the case against Cocoa-bo being largely dropped.

Atlantian Oceania Champions League (AOCL) final site bid

AOCL: Lunar Park, Seraai, Vilita (115,500 Seated) - 141,000 Standing Room

The Home of reigning Vilitan League champion club Eastal Lunar, the centrally located venue is one of the most popular stadiums in all of sport for a visiting fan even if it is not the largest in Vilita. Home of the Vilitan Space Program the Venue regularly offers some of the best scenery, excitement and one-of-a-kind photo opportunities in the World Cup. While it has since been surpassed by the Lonngeylin Coliseum in overall capacity, Lunar Park became the largest stadium in Vilita with an overall capacity of 129,000 at the time of its construction. Although some stadiums have added poor quality seating, hillside views or standing terraces to exceed the 129,000 capacity mark, Lunar Park offers quality seats all around the stadium and remains the venue with the most seats in the Tropics. While weekly visitors may get treated to events such as Rocket Launches and suborbital testing as the stadium was constructed by the Vilitan Space Program overlooking some of their active launch facilities, there was no coincidence required at the recently contested World Cup Final. In celebration of the conclusion of World Cup 90, multiple Rocket Launches occurred coinciding with festivities at the World Cup providing breathtaking views to all in attendance, a tradition that would be continued for the AOCL Final.

Vilitan League
:: Season 69 ::

SUPPLEMENTAL SUMMARY

Image

Image Eastal Lunar - v. - Jungle Strike FC Image
Tivali Ring Stadium, Alikki-Corra, Vilita

The Tropical Trophy is a seasonal competition between the Vilitan Stellar Division Champions and Vilitan Cup Champions. There has been some controversy as to whether it is a "Season Ending" event or a "Season beginning" event, though it has tended to be closer to the start of the new season, then the end of the previous one.

For this seasons Tropical Trophy, the defending Vilitan Stellar Division Champions (Eastal Lunar) faced off against the defending Vilitan Cup Champions (Jungle Strike FC).

Starting in Season 57, Vilitan/Turorian Dual National referee Nuliko Meteorik officiated the Tropical Trophy from a press box at the Tivali Ring Stadium with a suite of action cameras and video reviews to be used in competition to a degree never before seen. The move to the press box for the head referee was in part the chance to use the Tropical Trophy as a test bed for introducing technology to the game, and partially to spare Meteorik the embarrassment of not being able to keep pace with the players many years his younger. A pair of assistant referee's were still located pitch side. This method of officiating has continued at the Tropical Trophy as well as having been expanded to the Vilitan Cup and Tropicorp Cup competitions. In lieu of a whistle, a horn sounds over the PA system at the stadium when Meteorik needs to stop play while video screens and communication with the on-field assistants as required provide further details of the infraction and its result.

After winning the Vilitan Cup during Season 68, Jungle Strike FC were back in the Tropical Trophy where they would have a chance for revenge on Eastal Lunar who had won back to back Stellar Division titles and looked to firmly challenge Jungle Strike FC for the title of best club in Vilita. The start of Vilitan League Season 69 would mark 9 consecutive seasons where only Strike or Eastal Lunar had won the Stellar Division and the rest of the field was hoping for the streak not to make it to double digits. Before the league action would begin, however, it would be the Tropical Trophy.

Unfortunately for the fans who had waited in anticipation for the big clash between the two biggest and most recently succesful clubs in the Vilitan League, this tropical trophy matchups was one of the most boring, drab matchups in recent history.

There was little, if any, action worth discussing in the first half of the match with both sides returning nearly all of their starters from their succesful campaigns one season prior. On the pitch, the two sides remained evenly matched though as the first half wore on it did seem if Jungle Strike FC was starting to settle in a little better. That trend would continue through the second half as Jungle Strike FC outshot Eastal Lunar but young Eastal Lunar goalkeeper Zelkki Milake Jr. was able to thwart the chances by the Venom and hold the scoreline level at 0-0. The 90 minutes had come and gone without a goal and from there it would move on to Extra Time which would also complete in its entirety with no tallies, sending the match to Penalty Kicks.

It had already been all but decided that Zelkki Milake Jr, Eastal Lunar goalkeeper, would be the games Star of the Match after Jungle Strike FC had peppered Milake with shots in the second half but each was turned away by the second generation netminder. Milake's opposite number was also putting on a solid performance, however, with Wanda Kayoute of Banija in goal for the Venom. While both goalkeepers had gone 120 minutes without letting in a goal, their confidence would quickly be erased in the shootout as both teams stepped up and quickly scored on their first kicks. That back and forth would continue for 4 rounds as the Goalkeepers seemed to be getting smaller and smaller in the net - until what could have been the 5th and decisive kick for Eastal Lunar - which they missed. Up to the penalty spot stepped Bastet North of Nephara who cooly converted giving Jungle Strike FC the victory and extending the Venom's all time record tropical trophy tally to 23 trophy titles.

Statwise:
:: This is Jungle Strike FC's 23rd Tropical Trophy Victory in their 42nd appearance
:: This is the Eastal Lunar's 5th Tropical Trophy Defeat in their 10th appearance
:: This is the 3rd Tropical Trophy contested between Jungle Strike FC (2) and Eastal Lunar (1)
:: This is the 10th Tropical Trophy that ended in a 0-0 scoreline

Tropical Trophy Host Site:

Tivali Ring Stadium - Alikki-Corra, Vilita (87,000 Capacity)
The Football Association of Vilita is based at the Tivali-Ring Stadium in the capital city of Alikki-Corra, Vilita and many National Team training sessions take place on the grounds of the Tivali Ring. The Football Association regularly schedule matches at arenas throughout Vilita, especially bigger matches as many of the stadiums that host Stellar Division and UICA competition matches have expanded far beyond the capacity of the National Stadium at Tivali Ring, which is used only for the National Team, and, for the Vilitan Cup Final and Tropical Trophy match up. In addition to its World Cup matches, 'The Ring' hosted the 40th UICA Series 'B' Champions Cup Final. The stadium was constructed as part of the Vilitan bid to host the World Cup 14 Cup of Harmony as a replacement to the former National Stadium in Lopinka that was destroyed during a regional conflict.

The Cocoa-bo Fair Play Table rewards the teams with the best record throughout the season of minimal play disruption through Red and Yellow Cards. Teams earn 1 point per yellow card received throughout the season in both the Vilitan League: Stellar Division and the Vilitan League: Declasse Division; and 3 points per Red Card received. Matches in Cup Competitions, one of matches such as the Tropical Trophy or matches outside the Vilitan League system do not contribute to a teams total for a given season. Generally the team with the best performance in the fair play table that is not otherwise qualified for Internationstatal competition will be invited to the Vilitan Cove Invitational Tournament.

The national stadium of the Licentian Isles, also home to Montfort Wanderers. This stadium was originally named for Grand Duke Luke Thomas I, one of the last grand dukes of the Licentian Isles, though the branding of the stadium has been somewhat distanced from that fact since the dissolution of the monarchy. It is one of the only all-seater stadiums in the nation. It can be found in the centre of Montfort, built into a hillside, meaning that fans will enter at the stadium’s middle tier.

La Ligue omericaine de soccer professionnel · The Omerican Professional Soccer League
Top Five Surprising Events of the Season

Half the fun of football is the unlikely and frankly inexplicable events that crop up every now and again. This season of la Première Division was no different. Here is a look at five of the most surprising happenings from this season’s Omerican league campaign:

5. United Philibiscostal’s swift title win. After two finely balanced title races in a row, everyone expected another tantalising race to the crown this season. Unfortunately, Philibiscostal galloped out to a seven point lead by the winter break and never looked back. The Mespalian giants mathematically sealed their fourth title with four games to spare, as Trailblazers’ draw at the RS Amphitheatre left them fourteen points adrift, but the championship ship had left Port Alexandre long before then. The new champions ultimately fell short of the record top flight point haul set by themselves nine seasons ago, but a final margin of eleven points drove home the point that when United Philibiscostal win a league title, they win big.

4. Falcon United’s relegation to the Second Division. Falcon United are just one of those clubs you could rely on to have a seat at the big kids table, so the club’s continuing mismanagement saga made their funeral procession of a season all the more difficult to swallow. An opening day win over rivals Andreaskruis only masked the great problems lurking beneath the surface at Revolution Park, with the club failing to win any of their next three league games and struggling to pick up any momentum at all. Falcon completed a double over Andreaskruis to start off the second half of the season—the first of just two times they won back-to-back league games all season—, but lost their next three and failed to win any of their next ten games. Falcon successfully strung back-to-back wins against Athlétique Trois-Fleuves and Racing Rialto, but by that time, it was too late: a home draw against United Philibscostal ended any hope of automatic survival and defeat at the hands of Malavan sealed the by-then-obvious and tragic.

3. Trois des Quatre Grands outside the top four. If the season was marked by Philibiscostal’s success, the relative failure of their three biggest rivals was even more a distinguishing feature. La Corona had the best showing of the rest, finishing fifth and getting to the League Cup final, but were stunned by Third Division opposition in Port Alexandre and slipped out of the FFI spots for the first time. Malavan finished two points behind, with their nine defeats being the most suffered by the club in a full season in nearly a decade. The one thing keeping the spirits of the defending champions up was the wretched time Républicains were having, with the club finishing seventh for a second straight season and nearly missing out on the top half altogether, but a little more on that later…

2. Swordsmiths’ League of Victors qualification. Few people guessed that Swordsmiths would be the Free State’s representatives in the top flight this season. Most people wagered that they’d be swiftly sent back to the shadowy realm from whence they came, as opposed to finishing safely in the top half of the table. No one predicted they’d win a berth in indie club competition. Swordsmiths looked quite safe by the halfway point of the season and by the final day of the season, they had beaten 150/1 odds to qualify for the League of Victors after Trailblazers’ failed to win at the Stade de la République, securing the club from the Forge their first taste of international club football.

1. AS Républicains’ final day win at the Arena la Rouge. Turmoil was the name of Républicains’ season. The club’s seventh-place finish the previous season had clearly left open wounds and an all-out civil war seemed prone to break out at the club at any moment. By the winter break, Républicains weren’t doing much better—again languishing in seventh place—and inconsistent results immediately after the break ended any hope of a La Corona-esque miracle to rescue their already dim title hopes. By the penultimate day, it looked like Républicains would finish in the bottom half of the table and disciplined and methodical United Philibiscostal would complete an unbeaten domestic season. But at the Arena la Rouge, the two sides couldn’t have looked more different than before. The pressure of completing a historic unbeaten season clearly got to the home side and a reckless challenge from Jacques-Pierre Castell on Noémi Belmonte meant that Philibiscostal went down to ten players, giving Républicains a chance to open up a two-goal lead. Despite Philibiscostal’s best efforts, they couldn’t find an equaliser and their dream of an unbeaten season was well and truly crushed.

Virginia Nova (VNV) qualifiers
CAFA LigAnaia: National, Marine Sports Club

Virginia Nova has had a quiet little league going on for decades, but only recently have they re-expanded into international football by submitting LigAnaia Paperwork. The league itself has a pedigree from the old days where they even had a team invited to compete in the Vassfforcian Football League. Season 2033 Was one like no other, both for good and for bad. NATIONAL won the league again and thoroughly dominated the scene. A 13 point margin was one of their healthiest in a long time. Traditionally the team to beat, National is actually a shortform name of the clubs full name "National Football Club of Richmond. Their stadium is Hovarth Stadium, a 40,000 seat stadium just northeast of the capital city of Richmond's downtown district. (It should be known that if full the 40,000 seater would easily fit around 5% of the total population of Virginia Nova itself). The stadium was named after Charles Horvath a legendary coach among a lineage of such elite coaches, from Season 92-136, he won 31 of a possible 44 titles. Even by the standards of Virginia Nova, where "National" is the most dominant team, that run was the stuff of legends.

While National who are based in Richmond took the crown, it was MARINE SPORTS CLUB, who lead a brigade of teams from Port Chester. In fact, the next three team we will talk about come from PC. Marine Sports Club is connected to the small but feisty Virginian Navy, as its origin story is that it was originally a sports club for officers in the Navy before eventually turning into a legitimized sports team. Their rival RUST STREET ROWDIES finished right behind them in 3rd. The 2022 season saw them rack up an amazingly absurd 11 draws in Super Nova League competition. With that now behind them and some smart moves made in the off season, they were able to shore up the issues that plagued their horrid season last year. Rust Street was organized as an informal sports club for shipbuilders in Port Chesterfield, most of whom built ships for the Virginia Navy, thus when they were granted membership into the Super Nova League a rivalry with Marine was formed rather quickly. PORT CHESTER UNION is the most traditional team in Port Chester. By this we mean they were the only team formed directly as a football team. Union has usually been the most anonymous team in the city of Port Chester. PCU is also located at the inland suburbs, so there's a bit more overlap with the fanbase of Fiefield United.

BRIDGE TOWN FC did the same thing as Rust Street as they fixed their problems with some clever fixes and free transfers including Xannerian born Alex Gofford. The Asbury Park product had tore up his knee a few years prior and had been discarded by his team as "to slow". He found a home with the Bridgetown club and shone instantly a midfield spot. His veteran leadership and prior work in the much larger FLOX system proved measurable for the small outfit from the "Gateway of the Forests". RICHMOND CITY SC did not have a great season to put it mildly. While many of the capital teams not named "National" struggled, the City SC (THe team's Richmond City SC name is actually a longform name as they are actually simply CIty Sports Club) team seemed to be most hard hit. It's a real testiment to this teams depth though, as they finished 6th with reasonable 10-3-9 record, but the lack of draws turned into a long term problem for the City SC team. ROYAL ATHLETIC is known as City's other rival but given each teams mediocrity this season it feels as if Royal was the main Rival of City SC. Some pieces lost before the last season included the keeper Arnold Bruer and it feels like they struggled slightly in that department at times. Can Royal rebound, it's up to what they do with their transfers.

FORT O'BRIEN FC turned out to be the better of the outpost teams again this season as Johnny Mars scored a new team record with 28 goals on the season. This came two short of the overall team record but the 78% of team scoring is a new record for the team that hasn't seen a top 3 finish since Mars father Dawson Mars set many team records around the season 162-170 era. FIEFIELD PFC was the best of the two teams from the city, as PFC once again showed that suburban teams like Fiefield can get rowdier than even the Dockworkers team. The team lead the league in percentage of fans arrested at games for the fifth straight year. FIEFIELD UNITED also had some rowdy fans, but thats when they showed up. Average attendance at "Fife U" was a Super Nova League record low of 45% attendence rate, and this is at a stadium that only holds 9,100. RED APPLE SC is mostly known as the little brother of City SC, and sometimes it shows, such as this year when Red Apple had a disheartening low amount of points with 18. RASC though is known to show flashes of brilliance at times and can give big brother "City SC" fits when needed. Lastly SOUTHERN LOGGERS finished 12th for the 4th consecutive season. The Fort Ball based team is the brainchild of Mill owner Stuart Braunswaithe. Stuart's Great-grandson Alfred Bristol Jr now owns the team. No matter who is the owner it seems that being located in a remote town of 25,000 like Fort Ball will always be a limiting factor.

Gortolekua's recently reconstructed beauty of a national stadium is the largest in the Gortola half of the country, and the third largest in the nation. Located in the Salmia District of Seinät Capital City, there is a massive sundial over the retractable stadium, created by its 12 pillars around the stadium forming a circle and the massive arc atop the venue as well; this is to pay homage to the Salmia District's heritage as the astronomy center of Gortolekua.

As the national stadium, most of the venue is decked in black, but swashes of creme, hot pink, and dark blue grace the arena throughout as well. Inside the arena, the pitch stands just two meters away from the front row of seats to provide an intimate viewing experience for all fans across the board. No need for a Kop either, as stadium architects built the steps as steep as safely possible to ensure every fan could get their money's worth being in here.

Public transportation allows for ease of access to the Kansanala, with numerous train lines and a bus depot nearby at the Kansanala station. Consider this a welcoming party to IFCF organizers and the rest of the multiverse.

Eura (EUR) final site bids
IFCF Champions League: Bastion Arena, Bastion (capacity 110,000)

IFCF Champions League Final Hosting Bid
Bastion Arena

Eura's national stadium and icon has hosted the classic 36th UICA Globe Cup final, 48th UICA Champions Cup final and 51st Cup Winners Cup final, as well as the 24th and 37th Copa Rushmori finals and countless Euran international matches and domestic cup finals. Bastion Arena is aiming to now host the 11th IFCF Champions League final with the full support of their host club, the FA and the government, with the EFA particularly keen to do so to mark the recent passing of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the modern Euraleague.

The area around the stadium and its primary facilities have changed little and remain in peak condition as they have for all previous finals hosted here. If anything, the area around the stadium has been heavily gentrified and become more tourist-friendly and visitor-friendly. Transport is very good in the area, with many well-maintained main roads around it and plentiful parking. Memorial Hill International Airport is nearby, one of Bastion's four international airports, and Bastion Fairways International Airport - perhaps the largest airport in Rushmore - isn't far away by bus or train either. There will be an extensive park and ride system in place and a special temporary train schedule will be sorted out to allow for quick transit to the stadium. The quality of Eura's public transit systems is second to none.

Bastion Arena itself has a capacity of 110,000, and is specifically designed to maximise the amount of playing area available and the visibility of the event to fans. The stadium is over fifty years old, but it looks brand new. It was originally built to accommodate 90,000 fans before a significant expansion programme to its upper tier, which means it cannot be expanded beyond its current size without significant redevelopment, but it is nevertheless massive at 110,000 seats. Were the stadium any bigger, fans in the upper tiers would be unable to see the pitch. It is important that the Arena remains able to satisfy the needs of the Euran FA for international and domestic football, which is why it has received more direct funding, support, care and attention than any other stadium in the country. The EFA will of course make arrangements with IFCF regarding ticket allocations, but for security and safety reasons 500 seats must remain empty to divide segregated fan sections.

It has world class catering and facilities throughout the ground, as well as 5,000 executive seats and boxes for various VIP's and sporting agencies - in general the corporate and broadcasting facilities are highly regarded in the country and are maintained to very high standards. The stadium has a very high-quality pitch with an undersoil heating and multi-event capability system, allowing it to be quickly modified for multiple sports - but it serves best as a football pitch, a large one, allowing free flowing, attacking and hopefully injury free play. It also has extensive safety procedures and a government enforced minimum of stewards per game, making it one of the safest grounds in the world. However, its atmosphere is perhaps it’s greatest quality. This stadium concentrates the noise of fans into a passionate, authentic atmosphere with its state-of-the-art architecture, which is matched by an impressive lighting and audio suite and large interactive scoreboards.

As Euran football celebrates a hugely significant milestone of 50 years since the game was modernized and transformed into what it is today, the Euran FA, Bastion Football Club, B-Arena PLC and the Ministry of Sport are all fully behind Bastion's bid to host yet another major final.

Notes to the Executive Council:
  • From the Eleanorian FA, about the Rising Stars Cup: Should Athletic Saint Eleanor make the group stages of Champions' League 11, please enter Whitehammer CS - not Athletic Saint Eleanor - into the group stages of Rising Stars Cup 11. Whitehammer CS is the official youth team of Athletic Saint Eleanor.

  • From Hiyashi Celestia, about its particular hardship: Hiyashi Celestia was founded by, and is under the full control and management of, the Hiyashi Corporation of Kandorith. Without the Corporation's extremely generous funding and support of Hiyashi Celestia, the club would be forced to permanently withdraw from the Saint Eleanor League, which would preclude its ability to compete in any organised international or domestic football.

  • From the Eleanorian FA, about Hiyashi Celestia: Hiyashi Celestia has sought the attachment of their own note to this entry form, above, explaining why they should be allowed entry to Challengers' Cup 11 under their formal name. Should their petition be denied, we invite the Council to consider our request that they be entered as Celestia (a non-commercial name included within the club's formal name on the behest of Major Imogen Clement, the leader of Broadlands District Council).
****** The Grand Republic of Saint Eleanor - area 2,863mi2, population 489,816, 1.6 cups of coffee/Eleanorian/day - it's 2000 (OOC: obvious Tinhampton puppet)
BoF76 quarterfinalists --- WC91 participants

Why? George Mitcham, General then and now, cofounded the National Liberation Front in 1971 to demand a free Saint Eleanor. He got his wish in '75 after a 15-month war: becoming President, appointing notable NLF friends and some charity's executive director as VPs and calling them legislators. He has retained power through oil money; zero income tax; free healthcare, schooling, public transport - and markets; tolerating dissent on apolitical matters; allowing private gun ownership (with plenty of training) to protect against future invasions; high-quality PR; and football.

IFCF Champions League: Rülândéá Çölíséá (capacity 60,000 when not bombed) in Lìbêrêtê, Rülândéá.

The Çölíséá (Colosseum in Rulandese) is iconic for being home to rivals Mâ Âlâmëómë and Dí Maozöxê, and for having halved its capacity due to bombings from the then-existent government. The stadium's situated in a particularly rough area of Rülândéá, so make sure to be extra careful. The stadium itself is actually quite modern, as both Mâ Âlâmëómë and Dí Maozöxê are relatively well-off clubs, but if you squint your eyes you can sort of discern that it's been bombed multiple times. The big hole in the northern stand is a bit of a tell. Has hosted a Champions' Cup final before.
