My mental health is bad enough as is. I'm obviously not over 70 but even for young people they're still going to end up closing things.

Conserative Morality wrote:"It's not time yet" is a tactic used by reactionaries in every era. "It's not time for democracy, it's not time for capitalism, it's not time for emancipation." Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.

Welcome to pandemics I'm afraid. Bad things happen in them. :/
Mental health won't be pretty that's for sure. Feelings of loneliness and isolation are sure to skyrocket in the coming months as everyone quarantines themselves from the contagion.

The threat to them is higher. I read an article where it seems the boomers and the millennials are going out.
You are right though; they need support. Some are providing it as I mentioned elsewhere my local store said if you are over 60 and need help call them with a list and they will shop and deliver it.

I think just going to Tesco is a bit easier, don't you? My grandma loves her trips around the supermarkets, it's a bit of an obsession for her for some reason. She's also a supported living provider, so how is she supposed to buy food for the people with learning difficulties living in her house?

But it does not really makes sense for everyone to quarantine themselves is the point.
Just the high risk people.

I'm kind of worried my mental health will struggle to survive it. I only just got into a better place mentally and now the stability has all fallen away.

The first italian to die from sars2 was an elderly of 74 years, if i remember right.
The 38 years old, was the first infected of the lombardy cluster. He progressed all the way to the severe stage of the disease, and started to recover only few days ago.
That was a mistranslation? He didnt die?

Abril 8, 4020: The Republic has tracked General Grievous to Utapau! Perhaps this terrible clone war is finally coming to an end, even if we are on the losing side.
