It's because Max Barry was actually cloned in a Soviet laboratory from the DNA of Dostoyevsky, Vladimir Lenin, and Melvin Kaminksky.
He is biochemically engineered to delivery a coded geno-toxin that would cause Ronald Reagan to develop severe dementia and unsound policies if he ever shook hands with Max Barry, but before the project was completed, funding was cut and the scientists sold all the equipment for rent money. Max Barry was released into the wild with instructions to "Fuck capitalism however you can".
So he writes brilliants books satirizing the realities of advertising, mass market culture, and the free market gone mad.
Never did get to meet Reagan though.

All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

There is one of those in the Boneyard, besides an active nation called The Berdanvian Empire. The former ceased to exist a few days before last Christmas, I cannot find any information about him being "unjustly deleted". Those two words always make me grin, for I'm pretty sure they do not have the effect desired by our valiant martyrs with their spanking fresh nations.

I do remember him being deleted. I could find it for you. He was deleted but not "unjustly"
