Welcome to the Tolkien RP Group. This is where we Tolkienists (and everyone else) can discuss all LOTR, Hobbit or Silmarillion RPs, whether they're stuck in development, thriving, sinking or about to launch. You can also advertise Tolkien RPs here, and I'll put up a list of all the RPs going on. Everything remotely Tolkien related is welcome unless it's hate, which none of us what to hear. The Lord of the Rings: The New Age: OOC by G-Tech Corporation. It takes place after the War of Wrath in the Silmarillion, in the Second Age, after Morgoth is defeated by the Valar.
The Archive of Failed/Dead Tolkien RPs:
Lords of Middle Earth: OOC IC A civilization/nation LOTR taking place in the Second Age.
The Dawnless Day: OOC IC A character RP taking place during the Siege of Gondor.
The Third Age: A Lord of the Rings RP: OOC IC Exactly what the title says, a TA RP. With this one, we'll be continuing with the last TA RP below with a similar name.
The First Age: The War of the Silmarils OOC A First Age RP that was going to be epic! (And is, unfortunately, dead.
)Lord of the Rings: Naught but Ashes: OOC IC An RP where we explore what would've happened if the Ring hadn't been taken to Mordor the first time round.
Lord of the Rings: The Fall of Arnor: OOC IC An RP where we rped the Fall of Arnor, as the name suggests, in the Second Age.
Lord of the Rings: Fall of Man: An RP that never launched. The Age of Men has come to its end. A massive army of Orcs, under the command of Nazgúl who survived the destruction of their Dark Lord Sauron, has swept across the realms of Gondor and Rohan and slaughtered most everything. However, from the corners of these kingdoms, a small band of warriors has come together in a suicidal mission to travel into the depths of Mordor and eliminate the Nazgúl commanders and hopefully degrade the organization of the savage Orcs. Thusly, saving the rest of Middle Earth from systematic genocide.
Lord of the Rings. A New Era: A RP that never launched, this RP was going to be based in the late TA, as a dynastic RP. Something similar to the next Tolkien RP I have planned, actually.
Lord of the Rings: The Third Age: OOC IC Ah, my first RP. Good times were these. A simple, LOTR RP in the latter days of the Third Age.
The Lord of the Rings RP: OOC IC A colossal effort by Limborg, who must've spent loads of time writing all that up. Another War of the Ring RP.
The Lord of the Rings: The Adventures that didn't Happen: OOC IC Another RP by Limborg, but it was short lived. What if Gollum wasn't captured, and therefor Sauron would not know about the Ring lying in the hands of a hobbit? This opens up the door for multiple adventures to take place before the war of the Ring would happen. This RP tells those adventures, and in the end it will effect the war of the Ring.
Middle-Earth/Lord of the Rings RP: OOC IC Yet another TA RP. These were popular back in the day, apparently.
Lord of the Rings: A New Threat: OOC IC A Fourth Age RP after the destruction of the Ring, where Aragon's arrogant, cruel and stupid (quoting!) great something grandson is preparing to attack the elves. The elves and dwarves supposedly team up against Gondor and Rohan.
Lord of the Rings: AGE OF FIRE: The Awakening: Now this is an interesting one. Created by Sentinel XV, this LOTR RP is based in the Fifth Age, when the elves have all gone. Basically, its a Fifth Age RP with guns. That could be one for rebooting, for anyone who's up for it, though, not me, as swords > guns IMO. Anyway, if you want to reboot this, shoot Sentinel XV a TG.
