Infinite Justice always has been, and always will be, a sandbox. Though every so often, I'll start up a major arc to shake up the status quo a bit. There will be an introductory arc so the characters can meet eachother, but after that, it's character development time. Team up with other players, or go solo, and carve your name on the face of time and/or space! As for powers. I don't care. You can even have reality warping if you want, HOWEVER, having a powerful character doesn't mean that character is good, and is less likely people will want to interact with them. There's a pretty good reason you don't see Batman and Galactus teaming up. Though both characters are interesting.
Alright. Next are the concepts you will need to be familiar with.
The World Dragons: The World Dragons are, as their name implies, planet sized dragons. They're responsible for creating a decent chunk of life in the universe. Extremely powerful, but for the most part, quite affable or even kind. More often than not, they communicate via human appearing avatars, as their full sized body is not wholly capable of talking to creatures as small as humans.
The Destroyers: The classification given to humans with absolutely vast amounts of power, even when compared to other superhumans. Often reality warpers. Most of them are docile unless provoked, others aren't mentally stable, and some don't even realize that they have powers. Engaging these guys without a plan and a well coordinated, skilled team is suicide. You can find a list of all of the known ones down below. Often, even the villains will put aside their selfishness and help the heroes deal with one of them. Can't rule the city, world, Tri-County area if the world isn't... Intact.
The Kaiju: Unlike the Destroyers, the Kaiju aren't human, and never were. They're large, simple minded beasts acting out of fear, anger, or what have you. No one knows where these monsters came from, and no one knows what they're on Earth for. They're not alive by the normal definition of the word. They have no organs, yet they "bleed" a thick black ichor. These beings are just as dangerous as the Destroyers as they too all have powers, and unlike the Destroyers, they can't be reasoned with. Killing them has proven to be an exercise in futility. Their bodies have layers. Over a dozen. Each layer twice as durable as the last, and they all possess regenerative abilities, getting more potent the deeper the wounds go. The only strategy is to hurt them as much as possible and force them to retreat and "sleep" to heal their wounds. Much like with the Destroyers, Villains often will team up with the heroes to help deal with the monsters.
The Justice Queens: Something GOOD! The Justice Queens or JQ for short, are an all female group of heroes. One of the first groups of organized heroes. They all work together to stop things that that are too big for one hero to handle alone. Their current members are: Katie, Naja, Cora, Valancy, and Kylie.
The Young Bloods: A group of young, soon to be superheroes.
Madworld: A branch of humanity that embraced their superhuman heritage. Their technology is a few decades ahead of humanity and they are by large the most advanced society on Earth, lead by their powerful "Mad King." Instead of superhumans, the citizens of Madworld go by Parahumans.
Magic: Magic in this universe is energy from another, higher dimension. Certain people have the ability to manipulate this energy for a large variety of effects. However, It's not without it's costs. The energy isn't perfectly stable, and overuse tends to have explosive consequences. Another downside is that it attracts the malevolent magic eating creatures known as the Igam.
Lycan: A violent, Anti-Superhuman group. Well funded, growing in numbers, and with access to rather advanced technology. By far the largest group of anti-superhuman people on the planet. Lycan has large followings all over the planet, and a number of bases in nearly every country. Their most feared technology is their power suppressors. They have a portable version, that can scramble a superhuman's powers for a few minutes, and power suppressing collars they make their captive supers wear.
Here's a list of the notable NPCs. You're free to add and use anyone on this list! Just let me know!
