I don't know anything about scorination, but I don't feel that sacking a manager without consultation is a breach of etiquette. Do tell them after the fact, just to avoid them getting lost. Don't farm your managers abroad if you aren't prepared for things to go badly, if the scorinator doesn't like you. Bluntly I'm expecting the axe to fall on Evans at Chromatika any day now... if they lose the next match 6-0 or whatever then Chrom shouldn't have to wait for me to be online and available to decide if a manager his national team wants to sack who has had poor results should have plot armour.

I need to take an opportunity when I see one to continue.

Appalacian nation almost game me a heart attack with their RP. I posted, saw the scores above my post, and thought I'd posted in the scores thread.

The problem I had originally was that I wasn't told personally about the sacking either before or after it happened and could have easily written an RP about Ljubanik ticking along in the Lochario job. I still feel it's worth telling the other party before you sack them, especially if you're sacking them because they haven't been rpd much - it may be that they are still able to, but it's just slipped their mind. I certainly have no problem with my manager being sacked for poor results though. That's just football.

Is it safe to assume that the current laws of the game are in place? Is VAR in place?

Well, it depends on your choice, I guess, but it's safe to talk it out with your opponent if you want to use VAR against them.

To quote a better writer than myself...

"Now, this is a story all about how
My life got flipped-turned upside down"

I recently became a father and as any young parent will agree - that's quite a life-altering moment. It's also one where the most precious of commodities becomes scarcer than ever: time. And as such - I'll have to close the book on Mkabia, unfortunately only after a first few chapters while I had multiple tomes in the back of my mind. It's not the first time this happens to me: new personal circumstances urged me to close up nations far earlier than I had hoped for - not only because I had many stories left, but I've also left others hanging with their characters, ideas or storylines. My sincere apologies for that, for all those who see a collab come to end (in some cases, again).

However, this time I'm afraid it will not be another 'goodbye but I'll be drawn back to this place soon' but potentially a final one. I guess you never know for sure, but having a daughter changed things like never before. I want to thank y'all for the hours, days, weeks I've spend here across the last eight years, soaking up the creativity from everybody here. It's a neat little spot in the wide world web and it's fucking brilliant. Some of the best stories, the most thrilling reads, I've had them here. People on here managed to make me laugh out loud and shed a tear. I cannot thank you enough for that.

Listing all those who I want to thank will ensure I forget many others, but a little tip of the hat to the amiable Neu Engollon and Apox, to the admirable Farf, Sangti, Zwangzug and Nephara, to the hilarious Mytannion and Paradystopia (if you're still around in some form), to the brilliant Schottia and Audioslavia, to all those who spring to my mind immediately when I ride on the highway and see their trigamme on a car plate. I've never been the guy of much off-site contact but one doesn't need to have all that much contact to see a lot of friendly, inspired people. My kudos to the pillars of the community (Arch springs to mind of course, but many others do it through informal ways) who make this place to a home: thank you and be as kind to the next visitor as you've been to me.

It was an honour and a joy.
Thank you.
Mkabia. And Buyan, Some Village, Banguela, Rapoxha, Weisstal, various ambitious yet hopeless side project and Bearded Moose.

It's been a pleasure. Your work here will always have an exalted place in the history of the site, and I feel like a lot of the more recent work on the site's history and the world's verisimilitude is rooted in the efforts you made a few years back. I hope that you cherish your time away with your family, and should you ever return, you will always find a warm welcome on NSS.

Following on from the conversation about people that do not exist, wouldn't it be cool if you could find trophies that don't exist for your league? Well worry no more.

I've recently gotten into making 3D art, and I though I might bring those skills to here. I present to you Invictus, NS Sports first ever trophy design store (probably)!

Need a trophy for anything? I can make it. Just post an order.

Posted in NS Sports for the same reason that kitmakers belong here and not in GE&T. If any mods think it should me moved, go ahead and shift it.

On an unrelated note, congratulations to Buyan on the baby! It's sad to see you go, best of luck for the future.
