It's almost time for the year-end awards. We'd like community input on the following before we launch the nomination thread, please. Last year's thread, for reference: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=362678
The Community Choice Portion
These awards are decided by the P2TM community. A person or game can only be nominated once until the cutoff date (meaning future nominations from other players won't "add up"). The community will then be asked to vote. All nominations receive equal recognition - only one person or game is awarded that category. Of course, self-nominations are still not allowed. Players that publicly pester/beg people to vote for them, or acts of puppet voting, may disqualify the nomination. There will be other criteria as well.
A note on Community Choice: Genre RP. Some RP can fall under more than one category. A role play can only win in one category however. A life-based game can have horror or romance but it is predominantly life-based. A superhero game falls under action even if it fights bad guys (crime) or contains funny elements (comedy). The exception would be a school for budding superheroes (school-based). If in doubt, allow the OP to determine the RP's primary genre. We welcome your comments or suggestions for making this better, though.
The "Best of" Portion
The second portion of the Best Of really is "the best of". Each nomination is judged via a panel. Points are awarded and tallied. Everything is kept transparent. It worked out well last year. We plan to continue this again for 2016. We are looking for judges and backup judges.
The nomination deadline is 29 Dec 2016. Judging will take place 6-14 Jan 2017. We will need people available at that time.
Judges can not judge their own work, nor can they preside over a subcategory that contains their nomination.

A note on "NOMINATE ME!" incessant solicitation.
This will be taboo again this year. If your stuff is good, peeps will nominate you for it. Begging for nomination is the most annoying thing anyone can do. If the nominee can't refrain from acting like a barking spider in the actual nomination thread (they can campaign to their heart's delight in their own OOC threads, via TG, whatever), they will be disqualified.
