CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Dr. Neil Eldritch

Character Gender: Male

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Velociraptor antirrhopus

Age: 27

Appearance: 5'11" Green skin, Red slitted eyes, Dark Green head quills, either wears an Amber colored suit or a singed labcoat.

Character Occupation: Mad Scientist

OBJECTIVES
Primary Objectives are your character's main goals. This should be the thing that drives their part of the plot. When not engaged in stories, these are what occupy your character's thoughts or keep them busy. Examples include: acting on a desire to become a powerful and respected leader; attempting to overcome some horrible thing in the past which hinders the character on a day-to-day basis; seeking to break out their shell by overcoming profound shyness (getting involved with stories); comping to terms with a major flaw that inhibits the character from reaching full potential; etc.

Secondary Objectives are minor goals. These should be an undercurrent for your character when they are engaged in stories or on their free time. Examples include: acquiring weapons and becoming proficient with each one; improving sundered relations with a companion; improving their reading comprehension; mastering news spells; researching a cure for a plague; etc.

Objectives such as "making friends" or "finding love" are NOT acceptable. Please put much though into your character's objectives - they are what flesh out your character and one of the most important aspects necessary to portray the character as 3D.

Primary Objective: Knowledge is power, so Neil desires to obtain as much knowledge he can regardless of the cost. Conversely, he will attempt to stop knowledge being introduced to Non-Raptor cultures as he is both speciest and nationalist believing that only Raptors should have such power. Nothing will frustrate him more than not knowing what someone else knows and nothing gives him more joy than flaunting what others don't know.

Secondary Objectives: Money is virtually worthless, but resources are needed to continue his very expensive research of surveying Universes. Although bad at it Neil is a bit of an entrepreneur or a snake oil salesman depending how you look at it. Often fond of making unfair deals in his favor for the use of his technology or something he knows, when desperate he will often trade complicated thingamajigs that are at the best worthless or at the worst dangerous.

MUNDANE SKILLS
These do NOT require points. These are the average, daily things your character can do. Examples are "drive a car", "speak one Foreign Language", "play a guitar", "write poetry". Some mundane skills come from your bio and are freebie. A soldier has gone through Basic training. However, Medic, martial arts or sniper would be a Specialized Skill or Talent.

List Mundane skills here
-Operate Vehicles (He can get you there, but in a timely fashion or in one piece are probably not going to happen)
-Unarmed Combat (Primal Instincts and innate group tactics of a deadly social creature)
-Operate Ranged Weapons (Marksmanship is poor due to the position of his eyes and claws don't have the fine motor skills of a human hand but he can figure out how to use most weapons)
-Speak & Read English
-Speak & Read Spanish
-Barter

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TALENTS
These are specialized skills that set you apart from the average person. You have 7 points to spend here. Examples are swordsmanship, sniper, coercion, medic, wizarding, piloting etc.

  • Ability 1 and Points Spent: Mad Scientific Prowess - 7 (He knows a bit of everything though not as knowledgeable as a specialist)

OPTIONAL SUPERNATURAL CHARACTERISTICS
You have 7 points to spend here on supernatural skills or abilities. Sonic Scream, Levitation, Spell Casting, Shape Shifting etc. Superman MUST have his kryptonite thus weaknesses are things which inhibit the ability. Restrictions are what can't they do with their power or what balances it. They can only use it when they genuinely need it? They can't use it for more then five minutes without serious side-effects? Some things are allowed without points. A pegasus has wings thus it can fly. A raptor is fast thus no points are spent in speed. These "natural" abilities should be listed here, however. What isn't allowed: teleportation beyond a few feet; the ability to alter or go back/forward in time.

  • Ability 1: "Greater than the sum of the parts"
    Power Level: 5
Strengths: Neil can build advanced technology out of bits of scrap that shouldn't be able to amount to it, most likely ignoring a few local laws of physics. Need a Laser in a pinch? He can whip something up from the things in your pocket. This ability is the result of seeing various different laws of physics across multiple Universes, he innately knows how to put things together to get the result he wants.
Weaknesses: Each bit of technology built this way requires at least 1 rare and/or exotic component (like Uranium, Moon Rocks, Orphan souls) and requires more exotic components for how powerful the device is. (A Death-Ray might need just a single component and work for years while a device to hop between universes might need 50 different components and work only once)
Restrictions: The device needs a clearly designed function and purpose (Death-rays kill via "X" which affects "Y", The AU machine moves only across universes and timelines but will stay in the same relative point in space and time). Devices that severely violate laws of physics (and plot) degrade rapidly, perhaps not even getting a single use (No in-universe Free Energy Machines, No Time Travel for this version).

  • Ability 2: (Altered)Reptilian Biology
    Power Level: 5
Strengths: Neil can run up to 50mph unburdened, take 3 times as much damage as the average human, is thrice as strong as the average human, and has claws and sharp teeth. With Cold Blood allowing him to withstand high temperatures and his atomic structure can withstand a variety of different physics.
Weaknesses: Cold Blood means that he is vulnerable to cold temperatures causing him to black out in freezing temperatures. His atomic structure can unravel upon contact with physics from certain universes, (Equestria and Pyroland are the most notable). And his brain will literally explode if exposed to the song Taking the Hobbits to Isengard played on a vuvuzela.
Restrictions: Soulless Chemistry means he will not be found in any afterlife if deceased and will not become a ghost or anything.
MAGICAL OR SPECIAL ITEMS
If it's not on this list, your character doesn't have it. Magical items are rare and hard to come by. Please list what they can/can't do - treat them like a supernatural thing. Items not allowed: anything that can alter time; anything that allows a character to teleport beyond a few feet.

List:
-Selenite Teleforce-Ray (a pistol that projects an ionizing beam which guides an electrical discharge equivalent to an average lightning bolt to the intended target, can fire 6 times at max power before needing a 1-minute cooldown, It can be fired more times at lower settings that equate to the same output in the same timespan)
-Quantum Spanner (Multiuse tool that can scan and manipulate mechanics and electronics by manipulating probabilities into the desired outcome, works up to a meter away, does not affect magic)
-Top Hat of Duplication (A hat containing a device that will create a quantum duplicate of the last scanned item or lifeform, can duplicate the wearer upon death, has a 12-hour cooldown and charges up by consuming matter, does not duplicate life forms of pure energy nor magic)

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character acquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary and secondary objectives into it.

Education or Training: Self taught in nearly every area of Science and a pioneer of cross-dimensional physics.

Character Background/Biography: Oh, where to begin? We start at the Jurassic Park timeline in 1989, well an alternate timeline but that is just the premise. An egg designated as 713N hatched on the island of Isla Sorna and opened his eyes to see his creator Henry Wu. Neil doesn't remember anything from first being hatched but he certainly remembers growing up in a concrete enclosure, a relatively simple time where he and his playmates played with the electric fence and nipped at the workmen's ankles. As he and his brothers got older the limitations of their confinements started getting to them, wanting more than regular meals they wanted to run as fast as they can and hunt something challenging. Looking for a way out they probed fences and studied the routines of their keepers and the strange noises they made with their mouths. The first escape attempt failed, resulting in even stricter confines much to Neil's frustration. The second attempt resulted in his friends being taken away to a place unknown to him.

Then one day after it had been raining an awfully long time the fence didn't hurt. He found it easy to climb out now after cutting a few cables to fit through. He found the outside strangely silent, no workmen or keepers, nobody watching, just freedom. Now what? Hunting was fun, the fresh meat invigorated him clearing his head. Free of walls he chose to go back in them, curious of what was left behind. Lots of shiny things and this stuff that smelled like trees but wasn't. Looking at the funny squiggles for a long while, days, months, maybe years, he had no accounting of time till the squiggles in the tree like things actually meant something conveying a meaning that wasn't readily apparent, an order in which to interact with the solid earth things. He didn't know why it was but he did it, learning how to toggle the door locks, prepare food left behind, and turning on a geothermal power plant. His friends had returned after experiencing the same clarity, they managed to get a boat working wanting him to come along as they explored the wider world. Now there were other raptors on this island but he grew up with these guys and he had already explored much of the island so he agreed and took quite a few books with him.

Neil had learned how to maintain the machinery but yearned for the context for these things. His friend Edwin set the ship’s course for the other islands where they did not find as many things, devoid of the larger animals they were used to and no artificial structures. So eventually they headed to the only other location on maps available to them, the mainland of Costa Rica. Neil poured over InGen's research, learning about genetic engineering but still without context.

Human civilization was massive, more than they imagined and Neil was eager to learn all he could. But the noises these humans made were not what they were used to. The letters looked the same but the meaning was lost. Although Humans were weaker and scared of them they proved to fight back with more varieties of weapons than what was on the island. Killing at least one of his friends before they retreated to the safety of the wilderness. Humans seemed so restricting, so frightened of anything exciting. He and his friends spent a few more years living in the shadows of humanity moving from place to place on their ship. He preferred night raids on libraries for more knowledge than hunting cops for their weapons. How did they make all of this? Sure they could use these things and maintain them but what were the secrets of creation?

America was the last place they made it to before the boat was damaged beyond repair. Neil figured they had to probe deeper into humanity to find what they had that he and his compatriots lacked. While his friends decided to go back to the island led by Edwin, formulating a plan to bring the others to the wider jungles of the Amazon. Neil stayed and searched, alone on the outskirts of civilization. Holding up in abandoned buildings he made a quaint little home out of scavenged human trash and stolen books where he learned about human civilization, drawn more to Western than Eastern ideals. Feeding himself without hunting was a challenge, a few hobos were filling but drew attention, so he often had to scavenge dumpsters, sometimes catching rats as well.

Neil's first creation was a computer, built from the trashed scraps found behind an electronics shop. It wasn't really that good and the monitor was monochromatic, but he did get the internet on it, albeit very slow internet. Then again this was around 1998 so dial-up was the only option. A profound leap for him and his proudest moment. These things were not just some broken whole but they could go together to achieve something. And with this new tool Neil learned so much more and was able to do so much more.

His nest grew into a lair as he put more things together, a simple microscope, an electromagnet, a radio transmitter but all of these were done before by humans. He wanted something to create something new, not done before by humans. As he began exploring more to human media for inspiration science fiction and spy films caught his attention. Around this time he began wearing a trenchcoat and fedora with sunglasses, as humans did not seem to recognize that he was, in fact, a dinosaur just wearing those things. On a whim, Neil decided to build what he saw in media, and it didn't work like how he saw. Further research proved that it was not intended to be real. So Neil thought, why not try to make it work. Countless failures before the first breakthrough in Death-Ray Technology yielded a weak device, but it worked! Neil turned and reflected on InGen's Research, he'd need more resources to try that.

Neil had started selling things he made over the internet to interested parties and had sold InGen's secrets to Biosyn in return for the equipment he needed. Instead of making more dinosaurs like himself, Neil played around splicing the genes of local creatures and people from his meals. Rat/Pigeons, Dog/Cats, and sheep-men were entertaining to make, but without his friends he needed some help with his increasingly ambitious creations. Playing around with human DNA created a weak mutated henchman who was barely smart enough to understand what Neil wanted. With somewhat a success Neil began building things he thought would make his mark on the Human world.

The year 2000 was a year of great change and the downfall of the human world. Neil had unleashed a gigantic Mutated iguana on the East coast of the United States, the West coast was swarmed by his giant ants, and the Midwest was being devoured by a gelatinous mass he made and Central America had Fallen to an attack by other Raptors fighting guerilla warfare lead by Edwin. The cavalry had arrived, Neil quickly traveled south spreading death and destruction in his wake to unite with his friends. Chaos had broken out across the world, Europe and South America were desperate to stop it before it came to their shores.

United with his friends who were much more organized since they left, he joined the newly formed Raptor Republic led by Edwin who supported his research. Outnumbered by the Humans, Neil worked on much more destructive technology. September of 2001 was the launch of Europe and Russia’s Nuclear Arsenal in an attempt to stop the Raptor Republic but it only crippled America to the point where it was no more and it’s final act was launching its Nuclear arsenal upon Raptor bases. Needless to say some of Neil’s creations grew out of hand in this radioactive environment.

With the best resistance of what humanity had to offer done with Neil as one of the leading Raptor Scientists began building worse weapons of war from the ashes of America to take the fight to Europe and Asia. Collaborations with other great minds yielded Airships of War tackling the sea and air with destructive beam weaponry and energy shields stopping ballistic weaponry. He outfitted his giant mutants with more weapons to decimate China and Japan supported by Raptor Infantry. Capture of their factories allowed Neil to build robotic armies to support what so far had been a guerilla operation.

Creation and Destruction, technology was the ultimate amplifier of power, Neil had found a position as Commander Edwin’s Chief Scientist. He enjoyed coming up with new ways to show the humans that created them just how far they had come. Now operating out of Africa, Neil left all the wetwork to the military types and disposable creations as the world was now in their grasp. It had been a long road but by now Europe was on the verge of collapse now that the Raptor Republic had taken the oil fields of the Middle East. A familiar feeling crept up on him. Now what?

Neil for the first time looked outward beyond this little rock that they had fought over, the Universe was so big and so old and there was so little time left to look at it all. Faster than Light Travel was a must! If he had any hope of seeing the stars or the planets. Neil started working on that, a seemingly impossible task that humans thought were the realm of fantasy. But he and the other raptors got to where they were on such seemingly impossible things.

By the end of 2012, humanity was no more and Neil had landed a Raptor on the Moon and already had ships being made to go to Mars. But what of the stars? He had still not broken the speed of light barrier and it confounded him. His pals at New CERN had asked him to come study a new anomaly that just might help. A rip in space and time may be just what he needed.

Harnessing the thing and figuring out how to create them artificially was a real pain, taking away from his genetic research and coordination of space exploration. But the FTL Drive was coming along, warping space and time around it. Then the accident happened, Neil and his team were creating a new artificial time-space rift when he came into direct contact with it and it pulled him in. The team scrambled to retrieve him with a drone they used to study the other side of the anomalies. Neil was pulled out physically unharmed but gibbering mad, he couldn’t describe what was on the other side, but there was so much more out there.

His was still brilliant but increasingly incoherent, always talking about what could have been and what could be. The Cross-Rip Drive was complete even though Edwin had to give Neil less and less exposure to the press. On what was supposed to be the inaugural trip to Alpha Centauri, Neil hijacked the ship and disappeared, muttering about meeting other versions of himself and that he’ll be right back.

Two years hopping from universe to universe collecting knowledge along the way and having to constantly repair the Cross-Rip Drive, condensing it down with various parts from various universes to a somewhat handheld device. Though most of the places he went lacked raptors he did find one where he met Gretta, a Raptor more inclined to biology but a kindred spirit all the same in a world where the coup failed. With humanity easily winning she joined him as he journeyed to find more like themselves.

Neil is Neil, One of many and many of none.

Character Occupation: Mad Doctor

Primary Objective: Find a way to chemically extend Velociraptor Lifespans without degrading the brain. She is too aware of how much shorter Raptor lives are compared to humans and she vies to change that. Only so much can be done in a single lifetime so she is devoted to giving herself more time.

Secondary Objectives: Studying a sizable amount of specimens of biological life forms for her catalogue. Being interested in biological systems, Gretta wants a collection of varied references for her research, as many different and unique organisms and their abilities. Very useful for picking which organs, limbs, or genes will go into her latest abominations.

List Mundane skills here
-Operate Vehicles (She can get you there, but in a timely fashion or in one piece are probably not going to happen)
-Unarmed Combat (Primal Instincts and innate group tactics of a deadly social creature)
-Operate Ranged Weapons (Marksmanship is poor due to the position of his eyes and claws don't have the fine motor skills of a human hand but she can figure out how to use most weapons)
-Speak & Read English
-Speak & Read Latin
-Gardening

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TALENTS
These are specialized skills that set you apart from the average person. You have 7 points to spend here. Examples are swordsmanship, sniper, coercion, medic, wizarding, piloting etc.

  • Ability 1 and Points Spent: Mad Scientific Prowess - 7 (Her focus is on biology, genetic engineering, and medicine, with a good understanding of botany, and alien zoology, though is not as knowledgeable in areas that don’t concern life like physics or engineering)

  • Ability 1: “It’s all just self-replicating chemistry”
    Power Level: 5
Strengths: Gretta can sew organs and parts (living or dead) from various creatures (living or dead, same or different species) together and figure out a chemical formula to keep the parts from rejecting each other. Meaning she can create “Frankenstein” monsters or graft additional parts to a living person and make them work. Additionally, she can revive dead organisms (or just individual parts) providing she knows the formula to kickstart their chemistry and has sufficient electricity to jumpstart certain processes.
Weaknesses: Creations with parts from multiple species will fall apart after a day unless the formula to prevent organ rejection is provided daily. Meaning death in certain creations or just an attached appendage falls off which is merely severe injury. If a dead organism is revived without replacing damaged parts it will still suffer from the consequences of those damaged organs and limbs. If just a part is revived it will expire after an hour if not preserved or placed in a body.
Restrictions: Gretta’s form of reanimation has no effect on spiritual realms meaning that if a creature had a “soul” or otherwise it will not be present when the body is brought to life. The result of this could range from a catatonic state to being fueled by just primal urges, and occasionally zombies. She cannot restore magical abilities or properties to a reanimated organism and cannot revive organisms that are not entirely chemically based.

  • Ability 2: (Altered)Reptilian Biology
    Power Level: 5
Strengths: Gretta can run up to 50mph unburdened, take 3 times as much damage as the average human, is thrice as strong as the average human, and has claws and sharp teeth. With Cold Blood allowing her to withstand high temperatures and her atomic structure can withstand a variety of different physics.
Weaknesses: Cold Blood means that she is vulnerable to cold temperatures causing her to black out in freezing temperatures. Her atomic structure can unravel upon contact with physics from certain universes, (Equestria and Pyroland are the most notable). And her brain will literally explode if exposed to the song Taking the Hobbits to Isengard played on a vuvuzela.
Restrictions: Soulless Chemistry means she will not be found in any afterlife if deceased and will not become a ghost or anything.

List:
-Organ Translocator Mk II (Being a revolutionary device that will teleport organic material via quantum entanglement from 3 meters away into a refrigerated receptacle 5 liters in volume. No nasty incision wounds! Does not work on inorganic matter and cannot teleport more than 1 liter at a time. The battery holds 5 charges before it needs to recharge and the glass receptacle must be replaced once full. Does not work on magic.)
-Medi-Scanner 9000 (A handheld device capable of reading and recording vitals of an organism up to 3 meters away, identify common organic compounds, take x-ray and ultrasonographic scans, identify common viruses fungi and bacteria from samples, provide 1,000× microscopic magnification, runs blood tests, and has a notepad for taking notes. Battery lasts for 1 hour and takes 12 hours to charge. Cannot detect magic.)
-Bowler Hat of Recovery (A hat containing technology that will accelerate an organism's healing rate by 10,000 times the normal rate when activated, significantly speeding up recovery times! Although in this process metabolism is sped up, requiring the user to be constantly hydrated and fed during usage otherwise they risk malnutrition and dehydration. Does not work on beings of energy or magic. It can be used for up to 12 minutes at a time and has a 20-hour cooldown between uses)

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character aquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary and secondary objectives into it.

Education or Training: Doctorate in Medicine from Harvard

Character Background/Biography: Let’s make this a bit shorter, shall we? In a universe separate from Neil’s, in 1989 Gretta was cloned by an InGen facility in Palo Alto and she grew up in an all female raptor society. In this timeline InGen purposefully enhanced Velociraptor intelligence for US Military applications in the Middle East, building a better guard dog so to speak, it worked a bit too well. After developing sentience and picking up language from the human trainers, she organized an uprising with her clan during the San Diego Incident of 1997, in which rival company BioSyn, unwittingly released a T-Rex in an attempt to steal research. They successfully escaped, while stealing InGen’s research on the way out and began running East.

Up until now her life had just been being trained to kill on command by human handlers, but the yearning for more was in her heart. There had to be more to life than that, who determined why humans were masters and raptors subservient? Humans weren't as strong as them, they both could coordinate packs of individuals! Humans just had fancier tools! It was time to level the playing field.

Trying to make sense of what she found in InGen’s documents, Gretta began educating herself. But there was just so much she could do from the outskirts of towns. There were more books in the heart of human territories, a prime target. Stealthy library raids were employed and hit and run tactics on grocery stores kept them fed as her clan moved from town to town ever eastward.

Raptor attacks filled the headlines, mass hysteria consumed the US worrying about what town would be hit next. New tactics were needed as authorities closed in. Humans had hair and clothes, Raptors didn’t have hair or clothes, therefore what has hair and clothes cannot be Raptor. Flawless reasoning! Gretta encouraged her sisters to wear wigs and clothes, and soon enough they became harder to track down, even if they walked right in front of the humans.

With it now easier to penetrate human society and institutions with a considerable less amount of broken glass, Gretta was able to get a proper education. Fascinated by science, she began to understand what InGen was doing. Working under a name inspired by an actress in a random book she read, she was able to pass exams in Human schools and achieved what they considered a basic education along with some of her clan mates. She then went on to College in 2007 to gain a more in-depth understanding of the world.

During this time they made money to support themselves through odd jobs, organized crime, and selling InGen’s secrets to rival companies. Despite having an education and a source of income, there was so much more to do in the world. Why were InGen’s secrets so valuable to other humans?

In 2011 Gretta was accepted into the Harvard School of Medicine, choosing to specialize in thoracic and internal medicine. As she learned more her aptitude for science surpassed even her human teachers, rapidly runing out of things they could teach her she began pursuing side projects humans dismissed as pipe dreams. With this new perspective she understood the power of creation, especially that of life, innovations here had a variety of uses. Though as a student here, her own mortality began to sink in. Some side experiments projected that raptors would live for only 50 years, half the lifespan of a human.

Soon she began experimenting with longevity, trying to buy more time, but time was needed to see any effects. Time she didn’t have to wait for long-term study results. Why did death have to be the end? It was all just chemistry, right? Gretta began experimenting on the dead, trying to reanimate corpses. This was kept secret of course along with her snacking on the occasional cadaver, she couldn’t risk being expelled due to her pet projects.

Then disaster struck, one of her own clan sisters working with the mafia betrayed them all in a bid to move up the ranks. The good news for Gretta, the traitor got herself blown up in an ”industrial accident” where she was selling the intel. The bad News was that InGen and the DoD now knew where the rogue velociraptors were hiding out and their cover identities.

Gretta’s graduation ceremony was supposed to be her proudest moment, but dread set in as the SWAT vans and helicopters closed in to take her and her sisters away to some unknown facility. Suddenly the unexpected happened, space and time were broken as a ship forced it’s way into this reality. Neil stepped out asking for directions to Super-Sargasso, taking advantage of the situation Gretta jumped in the ship and asked for a ride out of there. Neil was hesitant to leave so soon till he was being shot at by a SWAT officer.

Neil took Gretta away from there, hopping into a whole new timeline where he explained that he was searching for himself, literally, to learn what they know and his own place in the cosmos. Gretta hadn’t met someone quite like herself before so she asked to tag along, not eager to return to a world where she was hunted or live alone where there was nobody like her. Neil agreed, confessing that she was the first other Velociraptor he met in his travels. And the two of them traveled the multiverse for a year and a half, cherishing the other’s company in a strange and unusual multiverse.

Brief Description for Bio: Cloned by an InGen facility in Palo Alto, Gretta grew up in an all female raptor society. She organized an uprising with her clan during the San Diego Incident, and they successfully escaped. She attended the Harvard School of Medicine, specializing in thoracic and internal medicine... among other things. Until one of her own clan sisters betrayed them all in a bid to move up in the ranks of organized crime. Luckily for her, the traitor got herself blown up. Neil rescued Gretta after she was recaptured by InGen at her graduation ceremony.

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Jonathan "Fortu" Davenport

Character Gender: Male

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Velociraptor Brain in a Jar in a Robot

Age: 4 years

Appearance: 5' 7" Like a Human Caucasian, Black synthetic hair, Blue eyes that glow, weighs heavier than he looks with his fit frame

URL to Character Picture, if any: https://c3.staticflickr.com/8/7208/13433474674_4fbb588239_z.jpg
Character Occupation: Accountant by trade (Hacker and Cybernetic Engineer by training)

Primary Objective: Not Die, I know this sounds simple but considering his past and relations Fortu is very lucky to be alive and to even exist. And this isn't like Gretta's desire for more time past her natural life, Fortu wants to make it to the end of his natural life. In one piece is off the table since the only part of him left is a pickled brain but he just wants to die on his own terms rather than by chance or the desire of others to be rid of him. Because of this he is relatively reclusive and was driven to design cybernetics to defend against the many assailants after him.

Secondary Objectives: Create a Better Future for All, another simple sounding objective with more depth to it. Whether it is to spite his creators or to atone for the sins of his species which he had disavowed, Fortu strongly desires to help whomever he can in whatever way possible. He has a particular soft spot for the disenfranchised and oppressed. He feels more human when he helps, which you can see is the one thing he isn't that he is trying to be.

List Mundane skills here
-Drive a Car (he's an alright driver, managed to get a license)
-Operate Firearms (Fairly accurate and his augmentations help a lot, his mechanical knowledge helps with maintenance, but as a pacifist, he'd rather not aim at sentient beings, it disturbs him but he will fight to survive)
-Diplomacy (He tries to argue for peaceful resolutions with psychotic killers, he's alright at it)
-Speak & Read English
-Speak & Read Binary (Absurd but he's spent a year as a glorified computer processor)
-Accounting (To be honest he isn't that great at it)

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND TALENTS
These are specialized skills that set you apart from the average person. You have 7 points to spend here. Examples are swordsmanship, sniper, coercion, medic, wizarding, piloting etc.

  • Ability 1 and Points Spent: Programming - 4 (He can Hack and Program Earth-based computer systems (Human & Raptor) and Drone Systems to a lesser extent)
  • Ability 2 and Points Spent: Mechanical Intuition - 3 (Mostly specializing in cybernetics and robotics)

  • Ability 1: Wireless Interface
    Power Level: 3
Strengths: Fortu has designed internal hardware in his body that lets him interact with electronics at a distance up to 10 meters. He can act as an interface, insert his own programming, download files to his brain, or just disable the system.
Weaknesses: Distance is reduced to 1 meter for systems that are not wireless, he is vulnerable to viral attacks on the system he is interacting with.
Restrictions: He needs to be familiar with the programming of the system otherwise it is just noise to him and will give him a headache. He can only interact with electronic systems, as in uses electrons in some capacity to transmit data. He can't hack a punch card machine or Post-electronic computing nor wetware.

  • Ability 2: Made from Scratch of Metal and Wires
    Power Level: 4
Strengths: He may not be stronger than the average human but he is 5 times more durable due to his defensive construction. He can breathe underwater and withstand a great range of temperatures.
Weaknesses: Due to his mechanical components he can overheat above boiling temperatures and begin to melt down. Due to his Electronics, he is vulnerable to electric based attacks with handheld tasers being lethal to him.
Restrictions: In every other respect his body is equal to an average human. His sensor array isn't as good as it used to be. And he needs to eat and drink like any other person to keep his body going.

List:
-Box of spare parts

BACKGROUND
Be detailed please. You must explain how your character aquired their skills, talents, abilities, and special items. Wrap your primary and secondary objectives into it.

Education or Training: Self-taught Computer Programmer, Leftover memories of Cybernetic Engineering from Neil, Community College Degree in Accounting

Character Background/Biography: Fortu started off as a clone of Neil's (well the Neil who came before who some of you are familiar with). In his first day of life, he had his head cut off by a neighbor just because he walked by sipping a soda. The next few months were spent hanging from a wall, as just a head until Neil came and got him back. He was given internet access and a life support collar and stuck in Neil's fridge. During that time he learned to hack security systems and secure databases.

Eventually, once Neil was taken away to Lunar Max, Fortu had to step up and created his own body that looked human. He became a computer programmer and worked to keep his place in the apartment. Eventually,he broke Gretta out and had to keep her comforted as she worked to reanimate Neil. After that, He was hired by Monique to do a freelance hack to destroy a rival corporation. Fortu soon panicked and went to talk to a girl he had a crush on (she turned out to be an alien robot that kidnapped him and reduced him to an AI and forced him to work for them). Eventually, he was fired from making cyborgs for the Drones (those alien robots) because his were too difficult to control, he was dumped back on Earth.

He then designed another humanoid body so he wouldn't have to live out his life as an AI. After that, he helped Monique hide while in a time of need and soon fell in love with her. Because of his relationship and choice of a humanoid body he is antagonized by a couple of the other clones of Neil. Later he realized that he was skilled at creating cybernetics and decided to focus on that instead of hacking.

Founding Eldritch Inc he hoped to help Bielefield with his creations but soon found it unsustainable as the demand for what he had to offer wasn't enough to keep the company manned by a skeleton crew and robotic workers running. He slipped back into old habits in a desperate attempt to make his creations affordable to those who needed it by pilfering it from corrupt pockets electronically. With his philanthropic efforts gaining the ire of the raptors and with them making attempts on his life he secluded himself to his factory. Trapped again, what life was worth living if he couldn't even step outside. He built a new body for himself and took a new name, posing as his own accountant.

It worked so well that most residents of the apartment haven't even noticed that he still lives there.

Fortu approved. Nice write-up. I won't be able to add tabs at the moment. Swamped with things.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Thanks Cer, but I wasn't worried about Fortu. I finished Gretta a while ago and got no feedback. In particular, the organ stealing gun she has and the Special Abilities.

I've done this too many times IC, but I have a new spin on it.

Arthur wasn't quite ready to be a guinea pig But Neil and Gretta assured him that this would send him to another universe unharmed. He sighed as he put out his cigarette and stepped into the phone booth hooked up to wires and antennas. He looked out of the glass as they flipped switches and soon enough a light blinded him, the fabric of space and time was torn once more as he fell into blackness.

He found himself in some sort of warehouse with some laboratory equipment, gene sequencers he guessed. He got up and dusted off his tweed suit as he came face to face with someone who looked like his mirror image in a labcoat, although only one of his eyes were reptilian.

"Stranger things have happened in Gotham." His double sighed and drew his Enfield revolver on him. "Who are you? Where did you come from? Who sent you?" He demanded with his reptilian left claw clenching the air.

"Is that how you greet all your guests? It is too long to explain but to put it simplyI'm Dr. Arthur Eldritch from another universe sent by people you probably don't know. Just passing through." Arthur replied as he calmly lit another cigarette.

"You sound like the Riddler! Trying to interrupt my work for god knows what reason, but I won't let you nor anyone else stop me from helping Gotham evolve!" the double replied and opened fire. "Tell the Riddler that Dr. Arthur Monroe sends his regards!" he yelled as the 6 shots fired.

Arthur calmly stood there with only one shot grazing his arm. "You really don't have much practice with that do you? Besides, I don't know this Riddler and I don't care. Just point me to the local authority on transdimensional physics and I'll be out of your hair." Arthur Eldritch said bluntly.

"So you don't want to stop me from inserting animal genes into humans?" Arthur Monroe asked confused.

"No, though humans seem to be bloody everywhere in the multiverse, especially Nazis and Soviets. Though I'm not an expert on that, I'm a psychologist and you clearly have had a mental break recently and you sound like that guy Primordial knows. The one that makes the green stuff that reverses death." Arthur Eldrich said.

"I have no idea who Primordial is but you can try Gotham University, it isn't far from here. Though you might want a disguise, can't go out like you spliced your genes with Killer Croc." Arthur Monroe replied.

"Is that what you did? My situation is the other way around, tried to splice my DNA with humans. Goodbye." Arthur Eldritch thanked his double and left the warehouse. It wasn't long before he fell out of the universe again.

Why not two opposites of one's self?

It was a good night. The warm summer air carried with it the scent of distant rain and flowers, and a gentle breeze licked around at Katya as she made her little stroll around the perimeter of the building. It was a rare thing for her to do, but the liked to treat herself to it sometimes, and the experience allowed her time to think to herself and take in a bit of nature. Yes, Katya was happy, and nothing could stop that-

A gasp caught her off guard. She jumped and turned to face it, expecting another resident, but instead...

Herself? It was Katya, yet it wasn't her. It was one of those tricks of space-time and magic that had done it, she was sure, but...

No, this wasn't her. The other person was dressed like something out of a cheap playboy magazine, in the ugliest pink dress that she had ever seen. Katya didn't even like the color pink, and for multiple reasons; why the hell...

"What the hell is this?", Was Katya's immediate reaction. The impostor scoffed. "Wow, I had, like, the same reaction.", She replied, looking the original over. Katya-2 was not impressed. "Quite the stuffy one with that getup, Hon."

Katya blinked, and again repeated "What the hell? What's that supposed to mean? Look how you're dressed, it's terrible! Come, before someone sees you!", She cried, moving towards the clone, who stepped back. "What do you mean? This is my style! You oughtta try it sometime.", She replied, which left Katya simply astounded. What was she, insane? Katya was offended! "Never in my life would I wear that! It's distasteful! It's degrading! No woman should wear such attire!"

Katya-2 rolled her eyes. "Please don't tell me that you're, like, one of those bitchy Feminists who think that it's wrong for a woman to dress the way her man wants."

How dare she! Katya was no Feminist, not by a long shot, but...well....

"You bet I am!", She barked back. She could feel the blood rushing to her head. "How can you not be one!?"

Did this girl seriously think that this was a way for a self-respecting woman to behave? To hell with what perverted men wanted! It wasn't proper of a woman to behave in such a way just to please the other sex; if they wanted a woman like that, then they'd have to go to the red light district for it! "What are you, one of those bird-brained American girls who stares at their television all day and hangs onto their wretch of a man named "Jerome" or whatever they decide to go by?", She asked. The idea sickened her.

Katya-2 blushed. "Actually, his name is Antoine. I think it's Mexican."

Katya dead-panned. She was fucking with her. Katya was going to puke; she was seriously going to puke.

"Doesn't matter what his name is, hon, he's still a hood rat, and you're still an annoying bitch."

Katya jumped again. Another voice? Oh god no, it couldn't be - it was...

Katya-3 was a little more modestly dressed. Actually, she had the same getup, albeit with a wrinkled, open blazer and loose tie, and red hightop sneaker. The black and blue highlights around her bangs wasn't exactly bad-looking, but...it wasn't Katya either. Oh, and the Louisville Slugger. When did Katya carry a baseball bat?

"You don't think a girl can kick some ass ya little cock jockey?", She spat out, readying her bat. Katya squeaked and hopped out the way as Katya-3 brought the weapon down on Katya-2's head. The other clone exploded into a cloud of smoke and confetti, oddly enough, leaving a small pile of lightbulbs on the ground. Katya was so confused...

Katya-3 picked up a bulb and examined it. "They're all busted. Guess she was a little dim, eh?", She said. She chuckled as her own joke, then threw the bulb into the air, and gracefully swung and smacked the bulb, sending shards and dust scattering across the floor. Katya gulped and watched her more aggressive clone with caution. Katya-3 glanced her way. "Sorry, but she pissed me off. I just did what you were too scared to do.", She told her. "You're the high and mighty type, huh?"

Katya shrugged. "I wouldn't say so...though you're a tad vulgar, if I have to be honest."

Katya-3 laughed again. "You bet your ass. Just don't go telling me how to act, alright? I do what the fuck I want, when the fuck I want to do it, and I'll be damned if a bitch like you says otherwise, like the bimbo."

Katya gulped. Katya-3 grinned. "Actually, you know what? I get the feeling you'll still have something to say, or maybe I'm just bored and want to do this, but...", She rolled her eyes. "Smile!"

Katya didn't have time to move in defense before the bat was swung right for her mouth. Suddenly, darkness. Katya shot up, having been slumped over a table outside, and saw nothing, and heard nothing but the sounds of nature around her. Had it all been a dream?

She certainly hoped it was. A promiscuous, dumb Katya and a violent, vulgar Katya were two people she did not need hanging around and ruining her image.

Fun houses, Rmwtyliin noted, were somewhat odd.  First oddly moving ground that she'd only stepped on because the others were getting out of sight.  Then mazes which she'd had to feel her way out of... and now these mirrors, made poorly seemingly on purpose.  The tall one had been interesting, but with each subsequent distortion she grew more eager to leave; this was the Carnival, where they'd jumped on clouds and assumed other forms.  The mirrors, by comparison, were mundane.  Venla's disguises would work better than this.  Besides, many of the images were unflattering; she preferred normal modern mirrors which provided a clear, true reflection.  I wish this would stop being boring and be a magical experience...

Rmwtyliin's first hint that her wish had taken was the mirror's slow unkinking.  Soon, it was smooth - and, she realized, something else had changed.  My dress was green.  She looked down.  Weird!  It still is.  Why does it look - it isn't tan now.  In fact, her reflection's was orange, and deepening in color.  And...was part of her skirt fading?  Was her hair truly that disheveled? As the top turned red, she stepped back and closed her eyes, opening them to see a girl in a simple sewn tunic just purple enough not to count as red and yellow men's breeches.  Both were rather worn, apparently patched by someone unskilled.  Rmwtyliin remained a few paces from the mirror.  The stranger with her face walked forward nonchalantly through the forest -

And then - as Rmwtyliin looked on incredulously - through the mirror.  With that, the somewhat disheveled girl looked frantically around.  Between blinks, the mirror changed back.  The Building's Rmwtyliin spoke first.  "Are you real?"  The girl looked Fvaarniimarn.  She tried that language -

- and got a mumbled response.  "Uh... yes, I exist."

The fact that this near-twin had appeared at the Carnival was suspicious, but stranger things had happened.  Pushing out her lips, Rmwtyliin decided to assume - for the moment - "You are newly arrived?"  On second thought, she needed some help to handle this.  "Guys!  Guys?  Hello?"  But more mirrors had appeared for her friends, and a few soundproof barriers.  Rmwtyliin would be facing this distorted reflection on her own.

"Hello, and welcome!  My name is Rmwtyliin -"  She's Fvaarniimarn, using my full name will reassure her - Saagve Annvyeelee Fvvarniimalasaakuuliia."  She expected a few kinds of responses, but uncontrollable laughter was not among them.  Glaring at the girl, nostrils flared, she snapped through clenched teeth, "I see you find my name...[]amusing.[/]  Might I ask yours?"

Her counterpart squeaked, grabbing at her belt for something.  "R-r-r - Wait, w-were you serious?"

"Why would I not be?"

"You cannot be Rmwtyliin!"  Seeing that the apparent-princess was losing patience, the scared girl rushed to explain.  "I am Rmwtyliin!  And I am not royal."

Realities and possibilities without end.  But this was the first time Rmwtyliin had realized - "Other mes exist.  Let us sit - Rmwtyliin.  Where are you from? Your accent is Fvaarniimarn, but odd."

Pushing out her lips, the other Rmwtyliin sat, hand not leaving her dagger's hilt.  "Other yous?! I -"  Rmwtyliin gestured for her counterpart to continue.  "I am titled Ymmviiske.  I... I would have been royal if two ancestors had been born differently, which is frustrating.  My mother -" she smiled - "Claims female-line descent from Esine... Yours must also, as Fvaaviimkune."  Rmwtyliin nodded, then gestured affirmatively.

" Tvthmlaaljvkyf?" She grinned.

"Yes! So...uh, what's your favorite color?" Her double gestured at her rumpled tunic, at which Rmwtyliin glanced distastefully. "Perhaps you ought to wish yourself more presentable?" A simplified explanation of the Carnal Carnival followed. Naaliasz Rmwtyliin had certainly done so. Her outfit had acquired some odd decoration, true, but not a stitch was out of place and her hair was beautifully groomed.

"This is amazing! I like these clothes, however..." Suddenly the outfit looked nearly new. Nothing happened to the rat's nest that Rmwtyliin's counterpart passed off as hair.

Pushing her lips out, Rmwtyliin gave that up as a lost cause. Trying to take the potential Carnival apparition back to the Building would wait until she'd had some time with her. Her friends... were busy? A thought left them a note. "Well, what would you like to do? We could fly -"

"No, please? I do not even like climbing.

"Explore?" Her double looked uninterested. " Sing?"

"Are you kidding? I'm tone-deaf."

"Look at art? This place can copy galleries!"

"Ugh! Sorry, Naaliasz, but that sounds really stupid. I mean, I'm not bad at it, but I can do useful stuff with my time."

A glint of light caught her eye. "What is that in your hand?" The girl clenched it. "NOW."

"A dagger. Naaliasz, there are outlaws -" Never mind that she herself was one.

"How would you use it?"

"Stab to the h - I mean - Naaliasz -"

Rmwtyliin was furious, and it showed. "Weapons are a deterrent. Their ONLY acceptable use is defense, and the least harmful option should be tried! You could have used the flat, or the handle - What was so awful that you had to defend yourself lethally against it?!"

The bandit looked down. "I missed?"

"So you - get out! Get out of my sight! You are not me, you cannot be! And see that you continue missing!" Rmwtyliin's double fled, down a hall which was suddenly there.

Between one blink and the next, a mirror at the end of the hall turned a metallic green. If she is real, that is a door back. Rmwtyliin ran, chasing her double, who put on a burst of speed, her outstretched hand crashing through the mirror with a ripple. Shocked, the double paused.

Rmwtyliin cried out, "Wait! Before you go -" it rushed out. "How are Venmii and Emm and Ijj?"

"Who?" The girl in the red-violet tunic took a step forward, nose touching the portal. Rmwtyliin slumped. "And Mother and Father?"

"My parents are well. Goodbye." She stepped through, and the reflected forest vanished.

A few more moments of running and one of wishing took Rmwtyliin to what had been a portal. "I can try, can I not? It may be too late -" Tentatively, she poked the mirror. And it did still serve as a door. Just...not one to where she'd thought.

"AAAAAH!" The voice was familiar, but it wasn't Fvaarniimarn. "It's Rmwtyliin's hand!" And with that, she found herself unceremoniously yanked through and plopping out of a mirror near the real door out.

It's... me???

It was a windy fall in these gentle hills of the Palmarian countryside, and a gale was blowing through the trees, rustling forcefully through the orange canopies and carrying leaves through the air. The sky was pretty overcast, it looked like another huge storm was going to fall hard like it had been in the past week. Freakish weather they had recently. It had been a while since Macy had returned to the Statham mansion, and it had certainly been a while since she had seen Matthew again. She could still see its tiled roof barely sticking out of the oak forest, unswayed by the strong breeze. Trees continued to pass here by until she reached the bronze gate, separating the woods from the pristine lawn that occupied much of her former master's lot. The taxi stopped in front of the entrance, and she paid the driver a couple of Ducats. It was what they were usually paid with, though arguably he had driven her quite a long way—all the way from Vildemaree—not the kind of distance that was associated with city taxis. Did she pay more? She did give the guy 15 Ducats and told him to keep the change just to make sure, so she should be fine.

Exiting the car and watching the taxi head out the driveway and out the gate, she turned around and took a long stare at the mansion. The wind blew hard again, tossing her golden hair all about and against her cheek. It howled with the voice of a thundering god. She brushed some of it aside, but she didn't mind if it was messing with her eyes. She was here. She hoped that Matthew would come over to the door and greet her with a simple "Hi", or even the old Mr. Statham, who grew to be more accepting of her recently. Taking a few light steps forward she raised her right hand and reached for the door, knocking on it four times.

Strange... No one responded. She tried knocking again, but again there was no response. "H-hello?" she called out to whoever was inside—perhaps someone hadn't heard her. Still nothing. Maybe she should ring the door bell—why did she forget that there was a door bell? Macy pressed the button, and still no one opened the door. Huh, was something wrong? She moved her hand and held the doorknob, twisting it to find that it was left unlocked. The wooden door opened inwards, revealing a lobby with two portals leading to two other rooms and a flight of stairs. "Hello?" she placed her right foot in front of her and slowly entered the building. "Is anyone here? Hello?"

Her voice bounced off the walls and reverberated down the halls, and only Macy responded in kind with the same question. She went through each of the rooms and wandered through every one of the labyrinthine corridors of this giant house, calling out anyone who was around. She had searched the living room, the dining hall, the kitchen, and even the backyard. "Mrs. Dubois? Are you there?" Sadly there was no Mrs. Dubois around, or any of the servants for that matter. Where did everyone go?

After going through each of the rooms, she took a right and walked down the hall towards the door at the end. The android opened the door and accessed the cellar, and it was just as she remembered when she was born into her new consciousness—dark, crowded, and dusty. Though there were some things that were new down here—there were more wine racks than there were before, and of course more exotic wines neatly placed inside said racks, and the cardboard boxes full of electronics had been moved to the other side of the room, right next to an old computer right hooked up to a deactivated robot lying on a table.

Wait, what!? Matthew had another robot? And he was going to program it to make it his new friend? But... but why? Macy drew nearer to this new android and examined it closely. It resembled a Caucasian female with messy blonde hair and a somewhat average build, one that looked exactly like her from head to toe, and it lay there with its arms and legs close to its body like a cadaver. She put her finger on one of her eyelids and slowly pulled it back to reveal a blue eye, kind of like hers. This was insane. Wait a minute, did the cloudy sky outside give way for a couple of rays to shine through the small cellar window, illuminating the minute dust particles in the air? This was exactly what she saw when she first woke up.

Is this... me?

As she moved away from her head and let her finger lightly yank on the wire attached to her navel, the computer suddenly turned its screen on, blinking with something. Macy went over to the monitor and saw the bright green words "SYSTEM BOOTING", along with a whole bunch of background checks performing. As she continued to stare at the computer, the other robot slowly sat up and pulled the plug from her navel. The newly-sentient droid wondered where she was, why she was placed in here, and why there was a girl down here in the cellar messing around with an old computer. What was she doing? Did it something to do with the plug that was on her belly? Did she compromise anything? She must have compromised something, or possibly installed some kind of malware. The android didn't know, but she must find her out.

"Where am I?" the robot asked Macy, eliciting a startled yelp from her. She didn't expect that she had activated this 'other Macy' by pressing something. What the heck did she do? She started banging keys on the keyboard, hoping that some random sequence of code is going to put her back to sleep again. Then again, Macy didn't exactly know how to program a computer or anything like that.

The other robot glared at her, drawing closer to her and staring her in the eye. "Wh-what are you doing? What did you do? Who are you?"

Macy couldn't do anything but stutter. "I-I-I-I didn't do anything!" she stared at the other Macy's navel. There was no plug, she can't deactivate her now. "Really. AH!"

"Assessment of answer: false," declared the robot with a damning monotone, grabbing Macy by her clothes. She wasn't too pleased with her answer. "I ask again, unknown. What. Did. You. DO."

"I'm telling the truth," she told her, "I didn't do anything! I-I was actually here to visit Matthew and Mr. Statham and—"

"Matthew?" the robot let go. "Mr. Statham? You know these people?"

"Y-yes, but they seem not to be home right now," she explained, "Not even the servants."

The other Macy grew suspicious. This was no visitor, this was an intruder—an assassin if you will. She may have killed the two men before coming over here to corrupt or even dispose of her. She was not going to let this go by without explanation from this blonde.

Again Macy was startled when the more hostile version of herself extended her arm forward with her hand bent, her palm opening to reveal a more robotic inside. Macy couldn't do that, can she? Well, she could do it to fly, but not shoot a pulse of energy that could kill someone! As she stared down the barrel and could see a faint light being created from inside of it—which was not good at all for her. "Waitwaitwaitwaitwait!" she reacted, putting her hands up. "Don't shoot me! I-I didn't do anything to them!"

"False," said the robot again.

"No, it's not false!" she protested. "I didn't do anything! They just aren't around, please lower your arm."

"Then where have they gone?" the robot relented and closed the hole in her hand.

"I-I don't know," Macy replied.

A long silence followed, with the other Macy continuing to glare at her. Just who was this girl, and why was she here? The robot did a quick scan of this person, staring at her from head to toe—making the real Macy a little uncomfortable. She saw a skin made of silicon, titanium framework, a central processing unit in her head, artificial joints, and a lack of weapons-grade systems—the things that one can find inside a civilian U-Bot. "You... are a U-Bot?"

Macy looked up and looked the other Macy in the eye. "Yes, I am an android from—"

"Identify yourself," the robot interrupted.

"M... Macy," she stammered. "W-what is your name?"

The robot paused for a few moments to come up with an answer. She did remember that Matthew used to call her with something all the time, as her serial number was too long for him to remember. Slowly Mr. Statham would call her with that name too, and the servants as well. Whenever she was needed, this was the name that they'd use to call her.

"Mitchie. I am Mitchie."

"Mitchie..." Macy repeated slowly. "That's a nice name."

Mitchie's hostile face changed from that of a glare to a surprised stare. "You think so?"

"Yeah." Looking around she perhaps should get out of here. It didn't feel nice to talk in a cellar. "Shall we get out of this place? It's pretty dark."

Mitchie, unsure of what she was going to do down here, nodded in agreement. It wasn't like she was going to go back on that table, right?

They both went up the stairs and back onto the hall, passing by a large painting of a group of gray and brown corgies with white bellies running around each other in an overtly adorable manner. That painting wasn't there back when Macy woke up and passed through this hall, but it wasn't going to do her any good to go over the details of the differences between what she assumed was her dimension and Mitchie's. That must be it—she was most likely in another dimension—a parallel universe as what Myra would say often when a new Resident comes along. This was no baseless assumption.

Macy scanned Mitchie as well, going through each and every one of her body parts with a stare. Everything that she was made out of was also in Mitchie's, though she didn't know what that large thing was in her chest that seemed to connect to a series of barrels inside her arms. Was that the blaster that she just stared down a few moments earlier? How come she never had one of those installed?

The two androids took a right, a path which led them to a door that accessed the garden. "So where did you come from?" Mitchie asked.

Was Mitchie ignorant of multiverse theory? She probably was, no, she definitely was. After all, Macy didn't know that other dimensions existed until she came to Gallimaufry and the Building. But forget that, she was going to explain it to her at some point regardless. "I come from a universe exactly like this one, only you were not created and I was."

"I see," she nodded. "What is your current state of relationship with Matthew in that universe?"

Silence followed. Did Mitchie make Macy a bit troubled? "Have... have I asked you too personal of a question?"

"No no," she dissuaded that thought. "It's fine. We both went our separate ways, he remained there while I was transported to another universe." She began to explain deeper and deeper as they slowly went into a maze. "You wouldn't imagine how that universe works, it's as if it breaks all the rules, lets you do what you want..."

Interesting proposition, Gio.

He wasn't so sure of where he was exactly, all he could tell was that it was dark out with the night sky a deep purple and vibrant pink, and that the air was filled with an uneasy iron taste, signifying clear enough to him that something wasn't quite right. Walking around on the moist cobbled stone ground, his armor lightly glittering from the ambient lighting, he stumbled upon some stone ruins. Still wet with blood that was caked throughout its' exteriors, indicating a recent violent struggle. Romulus promptly kept his blade close at hand, fearing for the worse in whatever hell he had found himself in.

Taking a cautious turn around a corner, he crept up to have dare witnessed a behemoth of a monstrosity standing over several disfigured remnants of corpses. Its' bulky armor was black and adorned with odd pink and purple symbols, he gauged that it stood at least 10 feet tall and was well over twice his own mass. He noted the crackling lightning claws that acted as its hands, dripping still with the blood of fresh innocents. He had then realized that what he was looking at was the vision he had witnessed previously in the accursed tunnel that Minerva had led him through. Knowing what kind of monster this alternative him must be, he tried to slip away as fast as he could, but his alternative had already turned around at that point to gaze down at him.

He froze, staring into the monstrosity once again, much as he did when he witnessed it for the the first time. It appeared chillingly unmoving at first, only staring back at him with cold glowing eyes behind a inhuman layer of pale skin. Romulus honest to gods quivered inside his suit, but with forced reminders from himself of the courage and valor he represented, he made himself step out fully into the open, sword drawn at the beast in deviance of it.

Amused at the display, his alternative crackled an beastly metallic laugh. "You're a damn fool after all General, you know you can't resist the temptation for perfection, it's only a matter of time." It held a grin of glee towards him.

"I resisted the first time, and I will do so again, unlike you, traitor!" He snapped back at it.

"Ah call me a traitor all you want, General, you know full well you're no match for me. I have the favor of the Lord of Pleasure, where as your Imperium has since abandoned you as well as your weak and pitiful gods and Wilhelms!"

"Don't you take his name in vain, fiend! His Will protects!" He brought his autocannon to bear on it, readying himself for an assault from the hulking monster that was reluctantly him. He murmured a prayer.

"I see how it is, lets get this charade over with then." Its lightning claws flared, it smirked down at Romulus with a mix of annoyance to his resistance and thrill for his slaughter. It then charged at the General with a deafening roar of incoming combat.

Midway into the fight it was quite apparent who had the dominate hand. As the General was tossed around like a discarded glove and thrown through a wall, his once glorious armor was shredded like cardboard in a furious hail storm, his body full of deep festering claw marks and stab wounds. But despite his life threatening injuries sustained, he managed to stand right back up in the face of the horror standing right in front of him, even if he did so weakly.

"Pathetic! To think I was just like you, willfully ignorant of the truth and hopelessly weak." The Beast taunted, lifting his wrist and carelessly firing flaring bolt shots into the General's chest, forcing him back to the ground.

Once again he tried to stand right back up, much weaker than before. "Just give it up already, can't you see you've been defeated?!" The Beast kicked him down onto his back. Romulus coughed up blood, his tan skin was glowing and his wounds were slowly healing over, but he was still in grave trouble. "And yet here I'm am, still fighting back against you, monster." He spat back with as much strength and anger he could muster and continued trying to stand up.

"Oh don't lie to yourself by alluding you stand at a moral high ground, General! You've done your fair share of horrors, you murdered plenty of innocents have you not?! Just embrace it, you know it's destiny that you do." It tempted him, offering an hand and letting his guard down.

"NO! I had enough of your insanity! Innocents die so that the Imperium shall prevail against worser horrors like you. I didn't enjoy what I done, but you on the other hand indulge in others' suffering, you're a parasite to the people you once fought for and now a rapist to them! And for that you will be brought to my highest degree of justice!" He furiously got in front and slashed and cut into the Beast's hulk, surprising it by his ability to still fight back.

It yelped and panicked, trying desperately to counter and stop him, but he furiously continued his onslaught regardless, stopping at nothing until the Beast was no more. And so despite considerable resistance, strike after strike and several dodges, the Beast's demonic amour finally cracked and broke. The Beast lay bloodied and burnt, looking up at Romulus as he readied to deliver the killing blow straight into its skull.

"C'mon, get on with it, General... It won't stop the inevitable..." It weakly said, ready to die, but not before laughing at his own pain and defeat.

"Try me, you sorry, weak of will, bastard!" He drove the sword deep into his exposed skull, burning it into a crisp as he did so. He then burnt the rest of body and limply left the scene, his sole goal being finding a way back home.

I'll get a plost out tomorrow, I'm moving back into my house for a week before fall semester starts. :P

CHARACTER APPLICATION

PLAYER INFORMATION
NS nation nickname: NVE

Skill Level (beginner, intermediate, advanced): Beginner Fine an Intermediate who has been out of the game for a while.

How often can you post? Once a day

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Dr. Neil Eldritch

Character Gender: Male

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Velociraptor antirrhopus

Age: 27

Appearance: 5'11" Green skin, Red slitted eyes, Dark Green head quills, either wears an Amber colored suit or a singed labcoat.

URL to Character Picture, if any: http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/jurassicpark/images/0/0f/Male_Raptor_Artwork.png/revision/latest?cb=20130413033206

Brief Description for Bio: A mad genius Velociraptor hopping from universe to universe in search of alternate versions of himself. Drawn to Gallimaufry by one of his other selves, he desires to obtain as much knowledge as he can before continuing his search. Though he is not one to be trifled with as he is no stranger to violence and destruction, it is his nature to destroy just as easily as he creates.

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Dr. Gretta Garbo

Character Gender: Female

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Velociraptor antirrhopus

Age: 27

Appearance: 5'9" White skin with dark green spots along the spine from head to tail, Yellow slitted eyes, either wears an Amber colored dress or a bloodied labcoat.

URL to Character Picture, if any: http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/jurassicpark/images/e/e5/Avatars-000013659280-cmo00r-t500x500.jpg/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/480?cb=20130613053152

Character Occupation: Mad Doctor

List Mundane skills here
-Operate Vehicles (She can get you there, but in a timely fashion or in one piece are probably not going to happen)

CHARACTER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Jonathan "Fortu" Davenport

Character Gender: Male

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Velociraptor Brain in a Jar in a Robot

Age: 4 years

Appearance: 5' 7" Like a Human Caucasian, Black synthetic hair, Blue eyes that glow, weighs heavier than he looks with his fit frame

Character Occupation: Accountant by trade (Hacker and Cybernetic Engineer by training)

Objectives such as "making friends" or "finding love" are NOT acceptable. Please put much though into your character's objectives - they are what flesh out your character and one of the most important aspects necessary to portray the character as 3D.

List Mundane skills here
-Drive a Car (he's an alright driver, managed to get a license)

A pacifist who strives to do justice, making up for the carelessness of his creator.

Gretta's too powerful. I'm fine with having one potent raptor, but having two in play unbalances, especially as they tend to work as a team and are basically the same - scientists. She's way too Dr. Sue at a straight 7, and there's no specialty branching (3 in Virology, 4 in general surgery, 3 in internal medicine etc). There's no challenges for her to overcome.

Organ Translocator Mk II (Being a revolutionary device that will teleport organic material via quantum entanglement from 3 meters away into a refrigerated receptacle 5 liters in volume. No nasty incision wounds! Does not work on inorganic matter and cannot teleport more than 1 liter at a time. The battery holds 5 charges before it needs to recharge and the glass receptacle must be replaced once full. Does not work on magic.)
It could also be a potent weapon. Too powerful considering the damage they can do under their own powers. They're going to have to do things the old fashioned way.

The device is a bit too handwavium. I can give the nod to the hats because they fit the raptor zaniness. The sonic screwdriver has been used before. But the Medi-scanner is too OTT. It takes all the work out of it. The Luxans and other magic/tech users are in the same boat.

That aside, I can see them having a device that reads and records vitals of an organism from a few feet away, that can identify common organic compounds, and can make a vague guess regarding common viruses, fungi and bacteria from samples.

It might be able to run simple things: CBC (Complete Blood Count - red and white blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin, hematocrit) and Blood Chemistry Tests/Basic Metabolic Panel (blood glucose, calcium, electrolytes, kidney function (BUN and creatinine), and blood enzymes (troponin and creatine kinase). Might was well throw in coagulation testing.

But all of these results are dependent upon Gretta's knowledge of the species. Values for a dog are different than values for a human. Values for a thade would be off the charts and lack of familiarity might lead Gretta to prescribe something that controls glucose without realizing thade glucose is normally high due to a bifurcated pancreas.

Bear in mind, too, that there's a fully equipped hospital on the 5th floor. Gretta would have access to the various things there. They could use someone who can read images, also.

The "epic" in EPIC comes from how players overcome challenges. Give them a slingshot and put them in front of a giant, they'll get their asses handed to them but they might manage to kill Goliath in the process. That's EPIC! They have to work for their wins. The raptors' high Mad Scientific Prowess - 7 means that player GMs might not want them along on stories because they'll take all the challenge out of them, and other players won't have anything to do.

A note on apartments

Apartments - Demens gives the bare minimum plus toilet paper (nasty, 2-ply stuff) and some snacks. Characters that need specific things to exist, such as Opa and his charging station, will find those present. Demen's isn't a fan of redundancy. The hospital has basic lab equipment, an oparatory, a pharmacy, radiology, etc. Therefore, you won't find these things supplied in character apartments. Likewise, swords and other bladed weapons can be had in the Wold or in Alessio. A swordsman character would start out with whatever he had on his person. He wouldn't walk into an apartment with weapons lining all the walls.

The exception to the Demens "standard" is the raptor refrigerator, which NVE won OOC. It's blessed and provides a never-ending supply of organ meat for consumption. Neil and Gretta will need to find advanced lab equipment, however. Stuff's pretty standard and, like the toilet paper, gratingly basic.

There's been a recent push to bring large things in for characters. Most recently, it's aircraft. There's nowhere to hangar these, fuel is nearly impossible to get (and very expensive), and Galli's physics mean that certain things won't work well.

Cer, is it allowed/possible, for me to edit one skill in Julia's bio? I don't think I'll find something in here that will fulfill/use her business skill any time soon.

If it is allowed, any recommendation on what skill that is needed? I want to fill it with first aid but turns out I already have one. Or should add the 1 point from business skill to other skill?

If it is allowed, any recommendation on what skill that is needed? I want to fill it with first aid but turns out I already have one. Or should add the 1 point from business skill to other skill?

That, or her close-combat experience (Baritsu). Business skill seemed to be "A good idea at that moment".

She'll need close-combat eventually.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

NA and peeps on that story: please get moving. You're occupying the dining room and, should we need to advance time, we can't. Please settle on who is going and who isn't, and get them outfitted and prepared to take a Gate.

I'm asking Swith to pull Nila. There's already a large group and, considering how slowly it's moving, I need at least one lizard at the Building to handle Morbus.

Sorry about that, I should be partly to blame, as I'm the only one that needs to plost. I would've done it yesterday, but I was busy moving out of my dorm. I'll get to plosting right now though!

Double Cheddar, please:p

So, a simple one-shot that many might've done before anyways? A short diary/journal entry that your characters might write? Both of mine concern immortality.

"It’s no use! What is the purpose of growing up? You get old, you get wrinkled, and your eyes droop, and before you know it all of that youthful beauty and charm is lost to time, and you’re reduced to a hideous shell! Damn the god who condones this! No, I won’t be like them, I won’t let my body fall apart and become twisted like the others; I have too much worth, and my life is too valuable. My purpose is divine! No, that’s why I have so many opportunities in front of me, opportunities for eternal life, eternal youth! I’m simply too indecisive about claiming the gift. I can’t just dawdle while my body ages and sags, and deforms. I’ll be beautiful forever! I’ll be powerful forever! I MUST claim that power! Yes, I’ll live forever, and I’ll be young forever, and I’ll be BEAUTIFUL forever! If I couldn’t do so, if I was powerless to stop time, then I’d not be worth living as I am - I’d rather end it all while the beauty is still there, than dwell on what was as I wither like a hag.

Because it’s what I deserve. "

- Katya

The idea of death frightens me. The idea of growing up, even more so. To just grow, and grow, and grow, and watch as your youthful energy and beauty dwindle, and before you know it, you’re no longer the pretty girl who ran around with her friends and embraced life. You’re a withered, ugly person who gets by on handouts and relies on their kids to help them. Why would anyone willingly subject themselves to such a fate? It is no doubt that my presence today is fate. My mastery of Nikanor’s technology, and my favor with the far superior Raptor scientists...these will be my greatest aids, and with my invention of the new cellular energizer, I can not only stay youthful forever, but even make myself better! I don’t need to submit to time’s torture, or bow to any god for help, not when I have my own will, and science!

Yes, my intellect and embracing science has set me free from all of life’s burdens. I’ll be young forever. I’ll be powerful forever. And if even my own power cannot protect my mortal body? Then metal and wires can do for me what flesh and blood can’t."

- Torii

Got bored, decided to think about it and write to pass the time.

My entry for the opposite character challenge.

“I’m blaming you for this,” Primordial said as the water began rising around his ankles.

Complex shivered, thankful that he had insulted his skin against minor water damage, at least he could expect his joints to not short circuit. “you're an absolute fool, I’m embarrassed that we share an existential relevance signature. This is all your fault,” he shot back with a burst of half mechanical chatter. The cyborg’s ire was clearly written on his humanlike face even though his muscles moved more sluggishly than the Barons.

“My fault? I wasn’t the one who attack our hosts over nothing.”

“Nothing? By God, did you see what they were doing to that poor girl? It was...” Complex might have vomited if he still had a stomach left but instead he focused on his erstwhile ally. “You can’t stand by while that sort of thing gets done to another human.”

“No,” Primordial said as he looked around the metal wall “You can soak it in and enjoy it.”

For a moment Complex looked like he was about to shoot Primordial, but his hands never raised or sparkled with the telltale signs of gravity warpage. The Baron, on the other hand, was thinking about just how much energy it would take him to kill his cyborg doppelganger. He was about his size maybe a little bit bulkier but the real question was how strong his interior design was. He could have crushed a normal human’s heart but he guessed Complex had something different. It didn’t matter that much, the mobsters had been smart and already negated most of their powers. A quick burn with an athame dagger to him and a targeted EMP pulse to his “friend” and neither of them would be getting out the vault quickly.

“Where do you think we are?” the Baron asked, feeling along the segmented walls, the water had risen to his knees by this point and it was beginning to feel impossibly cold. An image of his dead body flashed through his mind. He could probably survive for five minutes once fully submerged due to some expensive lung upgrades but, he couldn't breathe underwater. He cursed himself for skipping that bonus surgery.

“Feels like the back of the truck, I can sense movement very slightly. Maybe we’re in a money transport car they pushed into a lake?” Complex replied trying to stick his metallic fingers in between a set of the panels.

“No, it’s not underwater, I could feel the gravitational and pressure changes. We're above sea level and definitely above where we were when they knocked us out.”

“A strange choice of a way to kill us.”

“It’s very James Bond, isn’t it?”

“Let's just see if we can get out of here, how much of your corruption can you draw upon,” Complex asked, Primordial ignored the jab at his powers and religion, he had already decided that Complex was too dangerous at this point to let live.

“Enough to peel back a corner maybe. Depends on what's behind it, if we are somehow submerged then we're not going to have a fun time,” The Baron responded after briefly delving into his own mind. It was a low ball answer, he did want his companion to know exactly how powerful he really was. In reality, Primordial could have cast a very powerful spell but it was all about the cost. Without another source of fuel to power the Fist of Yog-Sothoth he would have to sacrifice his own body, mind, and soul. His mind was always the last resort for fuel, his soul had been calloused by numerous magical ceremonies and experiences so he could peel the vestigial pieces off without it being lethal. His body, however, was the most expendable, but it was expensive and time-consuming to replace, if he did age himself up he would need to find another surgeon or magician who could effectively heal that damage.

Complex, on the other hand, was blunt and straightforward where Primordial was sly and cunning. “I have enough charge for one good shot or a small manipulation, but it will drain my secondary reactor. Why don’t you peel back the wall and then I can deal with what’s on the other side.”

Primordial snorted derisively. He wasn't trusting this disgusting metallic eyesore with his life and he certainly wasn’t going to reduce himself physically and be at the cyborg's mercy. So while Complex had his back turned Primordial raised his hand and thought about a certain set of geometrical matrices. The water was up to his waist by this point but Primordial didn’t care, he could kill the robot and try to rewire him to explode using his body as a bomb.

“No, I think that...”

Suddenly there was a loud crashing sound as something banged on the outside wall with an incredible force. Primordial lowered his hand and Complex relaxed his own secret weapons as they paid attention to the sudden change in the situation. The pounding continued without relenting soon Primordial and Complex had raised their hands and weapon appendages at the ceiling they were originating from.

Suddenly light streamed into the dark water filled chamber but it was quickly covered by a golden helmet. “Come on boss,” Aegis said “We have to get moving”
“You too,” said Breakthrough with a mechanical voice originating from his distorted flesh mask as both of them reached into the box.
