I think of people for and against furries on a spectrum. To the far left, we have the furries which fit ever negative stereotype of them. To the right, we have the furry haters who fit every negative stereotype of them. Anyone who isn't in the range of either the far left or far right is fine. If you like furries, I get it. If you don't, I get it. As for me, I'm mostly neutral on the matter. I recognise that furries do good stuff and make stuff I like (good example would be Halley Labs, love their music) but then again I recognise the glaring issues in their community that need to be addressed.

I definitely see the appeal of a fur suit. I think it's cold when outside temperatures are below 24 degrees Celsius (75,2 F). And I love quality fur. Soft, luxurious, fluffy.
I respect and admire civil, well behaved furries.

Any human who isn't considerate to staff (hotel, cleaning, etc) loses my respect.

But other furries are fine, not all furries are deranged lunatics who wish to have funny time with animals. Fursuits and furries are cool, but it isn't cool to "identify" as animal, you aren't one, I'm sorry to tell you. They are definitely weird and are into some weird fetishes (believe me, my brother is one), but they're relatively harmless. I'd certain feel safer in a furry convention than I would an alt-right or Neo-Nazi rally. Hell, I would feel safer in a furry convention than I would in most political rallies.
