Tbh there are a lot of quotes over the years in hindsight that should have been put in that thread but weren't.

I just added one, something about "grape holocaust" from 2011, relatively recently. With over 30 million posts on this board alone, there is bound to be some gold.

Does anybody remember Red Indus/Red Indos (2011)? He was a little before my time, but I always found it very strange that his nations kept getting deleted erratically because the moderators couldn't figure out if he was some DoS dude or just another unlucky guy using the same proxy, and then one day all of his nations just vanished.

Fonzoland, another IDU member who was active in the UN: Accused there by a Mod of "excessive nitpicking", they chose to take 'Excessive Nitpickers' as their nation's new pre-title.
Various nations from the Antarctic Oasis & its allies, some of whose nations are still in existence but not very active, some of whom had -- & in some cases still have -- puppets that were also significant: Omigodtheykilledkenny, The Palentine, Yelda, Gruenberg/Golgothastan (who was also an Issues Editor)...

Yes, some of it got archived as far as I am aware, but I think it is incomplete. I think the last time I used the archive I was aghast at how difficult it was to find anything.

Other NS'ers (mostly NSG) I recall and kind of miss include Glitziness, Pure Metal, Bottle, Muravyets, Eutrusca, Smunkeeville, Tink, Il Ruffino, Pancake (don't remember her actual screen name), and of course Ashmoria (may she rest in peace).
