1991/1992 Season - Part 3 of 3

So here we go; two matchdays left, four teams can still win it - three teams are fighting for their lives at the bottom. It's all going to happen in matchday 21 and matchday 22. Here we go...

So, the penultimate matchday certainly through up quite a few surprises. Atletik Thessia beat Parr City 2-0 with goals from Ole van Jendrisen and Robin Hjik. Decraa United and 1896 Ebor drew 2-2, the Bulls scored first through a Henning Tir strike, 1896 Ebor replied with a massive header from Jason Campbell. The Bulls went back ahead, Laze v Tuhinju scoring a header similiar to Campbell's earlier. Ebor equalised late after a nice solo run and finish by Campbell. DNFK got an important three points against Inzernakional Backsfield, with a hattrick from Wunderlich - the late Gunners' reply coming from Sherwood. Miago City and Litala '93 played out a 1-1 draw, Nikolay Zaporizhin scored first for the 93'ers and Miago replied with yet another stunning goal from Tomas Sivoli. Olympik of Stratenberg beat Thessia '23 1-0 through a Claude Castonguay volley, meaning he has 10 for the season. And here is the table after 21 games, only one matchday to go now!

So, it is all still to play for at the end of the season. Any team from 1st to 4th can win the league, but 1896 Ebor are definitely in pole-position. Miago City and Parr City have the best chance, as Miago are playing Olympik of Stratenberg, who can be beaten - but are still chasing international competitions, but Parr City have the already relegated Inzernakional Backsfield; who have only managed one win all season. Then come the champions, who are third - but have to play 1896 Ebor - which will be a very tough game and 1896 will be aiming to win and lift the trophy in front of their own fans. Decraa United cannot win the league now, but will be wanting to hold onto their Globe Cup spot to go with their upcoming Cygnus Cup (Cup Winners' Cup) appearance. Olympik of Stratenberg, if they win, can still clinch a GC spot - but would have to win by a 16-goal margin, which is pretty much impossible. Olympic Thessia and Litala '93 are just jostling for position really now, but Thessia '23 are not safe and need to win if they want to stay up, as DNFK are right on their tail - DNFK need a win to stay up really, as a draw would not be good enough with their goal difference; they will be playing already relegated Stade Ouverjavaa who have nothing to play for, along with Inzernakional Backsfield who will just want to win against Parr City, so they can say they have won more than one game all season.

Atletik Thessia beat 1896 Ebor to keep their chances of winning the Mytanar Takillega alive, Ole van Jendrisen and Robin Hjik once again the scorers for the Citizens. Inzernakional Backsfield upset Parr City to get what was only their second win of the season, a Will Sherwood double was enough for them to win it. Decraa United drew 2-2 with Litala '93, two goals for Henning Tir took his tally to 9 for the season. DNFK won 1-0 over Stade Ouverjavaa to keep their hopes of staying up alive, Miago City beat Olympik of Stratenberg 3-1, Pol Sundstrom with two, Tomas Sivoli with a very long-range finish from around 36 yards. Leandro scored a single goal for Thessia '23 in the Workers' Derby against Olympic Thessia and this could well be enough to keep them up.

So lowly Miago City win their first ever Mytanar Takillega, it is a huge testament to what Leon Koivu has done for the club in his reign as Miago manager. We predicted them to finish 7th, but they've done brilliantly this season - Sundstrom has been an inspired signing and their defending has been brilliant - van Senisnen has been a great captain for them and Sayer has done brilliantly in goal. Atletik's crown as champions for the past four seasons has been taken and they will come back with a vengeance looking for their title next season. 1896 Ebor continue as perennial runners-up or third-placers and moneybags Parr haven't lived upto their money and it is surely only a matter of time before their owner gets fed up of his toy, Decraa were second right in the middle of the season but finish 5th, which they'll consider a good campaign. Olympik of Stratenberg narrowly missed out on international competitions the season after they got promoted, which is brilliant for them. Olympic Thessia started the season with so much promise but fell away towards the end of the season. Litala '93 looked like they were going to be in a relegation scrap for much of the season but managed to drag themselves out of it towards the end and Thessia '23 stayed up on the last day, by a point. DNFK get relegated, which really is a surprise - they were in international competitions last season - Stade Ouverjavaa get relegated, which isn't much of a surprise - as they were promoted last season, and Inzernakional Backsfield go down after only getting 2 wins in 22 games - and getting a total of 9 points. Well done them. Anyway, this is pretty much the end of the 1992/1992 season.

SK Port Jarko win the 2. Takillega and return to where they belong, although staying up will now be their priority. 1923 Esca also return to the top as they come 2nd in the 2. Takillega. Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast return to the top-flight for the first time in four seasons, they have a good, strong, youthful core and will add to that with the money gained from promotion after they beat off the competition in the play-offs tournament. Going down from the 2. Takillega are Kiznhiy-Grod Neputsk, Miago United and Rotor. Argyres, KGN only missed out on staying up by three points as OGI Esca won on the last day with a 94th minute goal, KGN and Rotor. Argyres were both playing in the top-flight four seasons ago, surprisingly.

Who will be replacing them in the 2. Takillega and who will be remaining with them in the 3. Liga, wait and see - because here is the 3. Liga round-up.

Staining Town are champions and promoted upto the 2. Takillega! Arklow have had a great season and are promoted up to the 2. Takillega too and that will surely be an experience for the little team. Spionar Rangers continue their surge up the leagues as they have managed three promotions in three seasons and now have the prospect of a shot at the big-time if they do well enough at the 2. Takillega level. Ibon Wanderers, Dinamo Regina and Parr FK face the prospect of digging out their maps as they have to travel to obscure places like Relbion, Zirca and the newly promoted Amateureliga team Dtykiga Ontario, a team in the roughest district of the town... 1899. Torghetten win the league and get promoted back to the 3. Liga, they'll be hoping to stay up this time and possibly solidify a mid-table position at some point in the future. Cote-Ast SC get promoted to the 3. Liga and possibly could give local rivals Spionar Rangers and Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast a run-for-their-money in the future. Golden Coast United, the side with all the money pumped in - get relegated back down to the Amateureliga where money doesn't matter so much as players' don't get paid wages so the teams don't go bust at this low level.

The Kombarov Crown will come later - the match between the winners of the Mytanar Takillega and the Trophie del Nakional, this season it'll be a Central Derby - Miago City versus Decraa United, we'll see you then with news of the season awards, thanks for a great season!

Pontinurii Bovenkantliga

The Pontinurii Bovenkantliga has just been formed up of 10 clubs in the small city-state of Pontinur which seceded from Mytannion 57 years ago (in 1935 by the Mytanar calendar), and became it's own nation. There are five main districts in Pontinur - the Administration District (i.t. work and computers etc), the Hof District (suburbs where people live), the Nechin District (where political work is done), the Coastal District (where the majority of tourism is done) and the Meerstad District (where poorer people live in massive skyscrapers).

Pontinur is a city which is reserved for the rich and famous, with lots of designer outlet stores, flash cars and tourism. Casinos play a massive part in this and so football is basically sponsored by thing which would be illegal in other places (gambling etc).

Somehow, 10 teams from the large city (OOC: well, roughly a bit bigger than Monaco/Monte Carlo/whatever it's called), applied for the league when only around 4 were expected to apply.

The 10 teams play in 6 stadiums around the city, although the largest only has a capacity of 12,000 and is surrounded by skyscrapers (the stadium of Meerstad Torenweegschalenblok), one is virtually on the beach and one is right up in the mountains between the rest of Nasto (the southern island of Mytannion) and Pontinur.

Quick preview of the teams:

1890 Hof
Probably the second strongest team, best player is Constantijn Offermans, they come from the Hof district of Pontinur and play at the 8000 seater Achtinegentig Spoorweg. They have loud and active support.

1950 Nechin
A middling team, that should be chasing Globe Cup spots. They come from the Nechin district of Pontinur and their best player is probably Milan Aling and they play at the Alledoel Stadion (capacity: 9000) which they share with rivals Nechin FC. They have calmer fans, but they do follow their team around the Pontinur area well (which isn't saying much!).

Bayreuth Hof
The worst of the Hof teams, their best player is Meine van Agteren, they play at the Hofstadion with the Hof Kickers and they are slightly jealous of 1890 Hof, who are more successful.

Hof Kickers
2nd best team in the Hof District of Pontinur but still very jealous of 1890 Hof - they're bigger and better neighbours. They should be chasing the Globe Cup though, their best player is Cobus van Laar and they play at the Hofstadion (capacity: 7600) in the leafy suburbs of Hof, which they share with Bayreuth Hof. They have loud fans.

Hogeplaats
They play right on the coast, their stadium Kustgebied (capacity: 4000) is pretty much on the beach, with skyscrapers across one five-lane road from the beach. They should be chasing the Globe Cup, their best player is Nicolaas Sanna and their fans are loud and violent, and famous for flares, even though they have the smallest stadium.

Meerstad Torenweegschalenblok
They play right in the middle of some skyscrapers, their stadium - Stade Torenweegschalen being the largest in Pontinur (12,000 capacity) and in the middle of the sophisticated skyscraper neighbourhood. Their fans are pretty loud and violent though, which is surprising - but then again, a lot of poor people live in this area. They should be looking at the TQCC place and the Championship and their best player is Matthijs van Schorel.

Nechin FC
The worst team in Nechin and they are made to know it, they share Alledoel Stadium with 1950 Nechin. Their best player is Jozua Amsing, their fans are pretty calm - and they'll just be hoping not to finish bottom.

Orca Zeoog
'The Killer Whales' or the 'Orcas' have a big Killer Whale on their club logo, will their ability be as dangerous as their mascot? We think they will, they're a good team and are the team that play right next to the docks in Pontinur - they're fans are loud and proud and they should be challenging for the title, they're best player is Martijn Nelissen, they're stadium is Zeoog Park (6000 capacity), which rocks when the fans get going.

Pontinur City Rangers
The better team in the Administration District of Pontinur, but even so, they're a team that'll be stuck in the middle - most likely. They're fans are pretty quiet, making noise when the team does well, but when they're losing they stream out in numbers. They play at the 11,000-seater Pontinur City Stadium which they share with rivals Pontinur City United. Best player is Lammert Baardwijk.

Pontinur City United
The worst team in the Administration District and possibly the whole Bovenkantliga. They therefore have a very small amount of fans and never fill the 11,000 seater Pontinur City Stadium. They will probably finish bottom, and the best of a bad bunch is Hubrecht Dircksen.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: 1896 Ebor finished 3rd last season in the closest Takillega season ever - they really were unlucky not to win it, this could be their year. Their defence has peaked and may start to decline after this season. They will wish to win something finally after a long wait for a trophy, they haven't won anything important as of yet - and their main objective will be to win something. With the quality they have, they could win the league though. We think they'll finish 2nd though, and maybe have a run in the Trophie del Nakional.
Wheeling and Dealing: They've brought in Vladimir Golubev from RSK Longyearbyen Town in the Polar Islandstates for a fee of M(C)18 million to replace the outgoing Andre Witterien, who went to Athens Town in Civil Citizenry for a fee of M(C)26 million.
Rivalries: None in the Mytanar Takillega this season.
Trophies Won: 1x St-Fortunat InterLigue
Fans: They have the best fans in the league, their fans haven't got much else to do up in the bitter snow and ice - so football is huge and the fans are fanatical. They go to every game in whatever weather - no matter where their team is playing in the nation or world, they will travel there in numbers. The famous north-stand is the 'Kop' and it rocks every game and is probably one of the loudest and steepest stands in the world. Their stadium is good and has been modernised recently, the fans are loyal, support the team through thick and thin - whether they are winning or losing the Tangerine Army follow their team. Very loud set of fans.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: 1923 Esca came runners-up in the 2.Takillega last season, enough for them to get promoted straight back to the Mytanar Takillega. They will be aiming to just avoid relegation, they certainly have the resources to do this but they will need to use them to the full - which they haven't really done as of yet. We think they'll finish 11th though - they aren't strong enough and haven't invested in enough talent - although their front two are the future of this club and potentially even the country. Proving their youth system has certainly been invested in heavily. Marusic is a great young striker and Klimy could be immense in a few years.
Wheeling and Dealing: They've been very shrewd in their dealings, bringing in three free agents - Manuel Chiche and Carlos Ortega both from Dukla Nastalich FK, both are extremely experienced defenders. Hans Andersen was brought in from Stade Ouverjavaa, the 33-year old is an extremely experienced goalkeeper too.
Rivalries: Litala '93 (The East End Derby).
Trophies Won: None
Fans:They have the majority of the support in the capital, mainly because they're based in central Esca (although they were originally founded in the East End). Their fans are pretty calm and aren't as hostile as some of the teams that have big hooligan firms (The Thessian clubs, Ebor etc). They play in the national stadium which is all-seater and therefore security is tight. They all chant their famous song 'Star Sign' at the start of every game which is an impressive thing to witness. Loud and proud when winning, nervous when they're behind.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are pretty much centrist on everything, they lean slightly to the right on economic matters which is strange but they live in a city which is full of the bright lights and produce of big business.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They finished 2nd last season, only a point behind the champions Miago City. They are the most famous side in Mytannion and possibly the greatest ever, and they will simply want to win the title once again. Nothing more, nothing less - nothing else would be good enough. We think they will win the league once again, finishing 1st. If they can't do that, they'll at least want to win the Trophie del Nakional - but the fans are an enormous part of this club - and unless they win the league again, they'll be calling for Jamie Brown's head.
Wheeling and Dealing: They lost Joep Bang this summer, with the legend retiring finally. He'll apparently go on courses to gain his coaching badges and then try and start managing a club then - that is what he hopes anyway. They brought in Pontinurii star Matthijs van Schorel from Meerstad Torenweegschalenblok (the Pontinur Bovenkantliga Champions), van Schorel is a skillful midfielder who is also the Pontinur national team captain. He could be an amazing buy and will work well with the midfield Atletik currently have, Robin Hjik and Ole van Jendrisen both being absolute stars for this side.
Rivalries: Olympic Thessia (Zenit Toranj Derby), Thessia '23 (Thessia Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x Rushmore Copa de Campeones, 4x Mytanar Takillega, 3x Trophie del Nakional
Fans: This season, they will have two true derbies against teams from the same city. They are volatile, loud, loyal and proud of what their team has managed to achieve. They like to have players from Thessia in the side and at one point had an entirely Thessian team, with every player having been born within the city of Thessia or on the outskirts or outlying towns of the city. They didn't win the league by as many points last season and so weren't so bothered when their team started to invest in foreigners. They are extremely loud, extremely loyal and probably have the largest away following in the nation with fans travelling in huge numbers everywhere.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are traditionally left-wing. They support the collective society and like democracy and liberalism on personal/social issues.

Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast: Johnson - Tyko, Zenka, Cvitora, Michaels - Maly, Georgiev, Sasha, Tomcic - Kasun, Bat Kishmaner.
Nicknames: 'Cosmos', 'Seasiders'.
Stadium: Spionar Road, Spion, Cote-Ast (Capacity, 16,500).

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They finished 3rd in the 2.Takillega last season, and went to the play-offs - through which they won promotion to the Mytanar Takillega. They have signed a couple of players, who could help them to stay up - which is their objective, obviously - just to battle bravely against relegation. They have a brilliant youth set-up on the east coast, their oldest player is 28. Their defence is very young too, their eldest player in the defence being 25. Radomil Sasha the 20-year old midfielder is a creative force and should drive them forwards. This probably won't be enough to keep them up however, and we reckon they'll finish 12th.
Wheeling and Dealing: They brought in Porlet Bat Kishmaner from Westerly Ill - from across the water in Civil Citizenry for a cool M(C)10 million, they also signed former Dukla Nastalich FK 'keeper Harry Johnson for free.
Rivalries: SK Port Jarko (East Coast Derby).
Trophies Won: None
Fans: They have a rabid atmosphere on the coast, with the stadium being an absolute cauldron when it is rocking. They are loud, proud and sometimes quite stupid - even standing on the terraces in Ebor with their tops off.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They aren't particularly bothered about politics, just partying and drinking alcohol.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They finished 5th in the league last season, qualifying for the Globe Cup. They also won the Trophie del Nakional, which is a big feat for a largely mid-table side. They will just be aiming to qualify for the Globe Cup again or perhaps retain their Trophie del Nakional. We think they'll finish 6th though and perhaps have another run in the cup.
Wheeling and Dealing: None as far as we know, but they may have brought in the odd youth player from the lower leagues.
Rivalries: Miago City (The Central Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x Trophie del Nakional
Fans: Good, noisy fans and come out in numbers when the team is doing well - if they aren't however, fans tend to stay at home and watch games on the television. They could probably spur the team on more than they do but they are certainly good when travelling, supporting their team until the end and not causing too many problems for stewards, police or stadia.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They tend to be left-wing on economic matters but quite nationalistic otherwise. They think that they should keep the nation strong and are quite conservative on social issues.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They did well last season finishing 8th, avoiding relegation expertly well and then even challenging for Globe Cup spots late on in the season. They have invested in young Erathi midfielder Isidoro Nao - who is certainly a talent and could challenge for good mid-table spots. We think they'll finish 7th.
Wheeling and Dealing: They brought in 17-year old midfielder Isidoro Nao from EMI FC for a big M(C)20 million fee, to replace their young midfielder Timo Troschi who left for Baker Fief in Civil Citizenry who went for M(C)14 million.
Rivalries: 1923 Esca (The East End Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x 2.Takillega
Fans: They have good support, their stadium is tight and compact - fans close to the pitch and the players can hear them very easily. Fans of either team at Wyan Road normally fight or at least hurl abuse and missiles at each other - with the three ways to get into the away stand being alleys through houses - the Litala fans normally live in these houses and can lob stuff at the away fans from their back-garden and away fans normally trying to do damage to the houses around there. The fans are quite loud and violent, they have a big following.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They're from Esca, Litala is a district of the capital city - and people from that area are generally centrist on social issues and capitalist about economics - they see the bright lights of the big city regularly and see rich foreigners visiting the city too. They are from the poorest area of the city though and so are sometimes jealous of these rich visitors.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They were the surprise package last year and possibly the overachievers of the season as they came 1st and won their first ever Mytanar Takillega. This season they have a very similar side, a young, talented side - with some good foreign additions and plenty of creativity. They'll just want to finish in the international competitions spots again, and either go to the TQCC once again, or the Globe Cup. We think they'll finish 3rd and perhaps win the Trophie del Nakional.
Wheeling and Dealing: They have brought Miroslav Filo back to his homeland (and his hometown!), after they bought him for M(C)24 million from Marinos Metropolis in Valladares. They also sold Danek Badjkev to South Factory in Astograth for around M(C)5 million.
Rivalries: Decraa United (The Central Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x Mytanar Takillega, 1x 2.Takillega
Fans: They have a huge following which has only grown down the years, they are situated in one of the biggest cities in Mytannion. Most of the talk in the city during the week revolves around football, they love the sport and the team. Their hardcore go to every game home or away, they have possibly the joint-best away following (with 1896 Ebor and Atletik Thessia), they have fans who love them - they make a lot of noise, love the club and follow them through thick and thin.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are located in one of the most industrial cities in Mytannion where a whole lot of factory work is done, they therefore have a large far-left following. They tend to be far-left on economic issues and hard on some social issues, hardline Marxists.

Olympic Thessia: Achen - Pitka, Oberhauser, Gower, Sanchez-O'Higgins - Rodrigo, Dikuta, Gunnarsson, Apual - Pedretti, von Haxelburg.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They finished 7th last year, a respectful position for a team that have extremely limited resources. Their inspirational Swartazian captain, Josef Gunnarsson is a huge performer for them and they have a talented defence too and Filip Pedretti is a handy finisher up front. They've got a team that works well as a unit and new signing Tomislav Dikuta is a good signing to add a bit of creativity, so they'll want to perhaps reach international competitions. We think they'll just about do it, and finish 5th.
Wheeling and Dealing: They sold star midfielder Wildo Ness to Volerander FC in Swartaz for a nice M(C)10 million, and brought in Tomislav Dikuta from SK Port Jarko on a free - some clever business by Max Haberhorm who has done well to bring in the 2.Takillega Player of the Season.
Rivalries: Atletik Thessia (Zenit Toranj Derby), Thessia '23 (Workers' Derby).
Trophies Won: None
Fans: They have a small stadium, but that doesn't stop them from having a massive amount of fans. They have a large local following and fill out the 2000 capacity Kaunostadion out every week. They are very loud too, making a whole lot more noise than 2000 people should do. Their song 'O Kaunos' deals with a young fans life and how it should be lived and they have gotten a nickname because of this song - the song is belted out every game and rouses the fans and players into the zone for every game.

They are a good side, and played some nice attacking football which really showed them at their best. They haven't made any signings, and so will probably be happy just to stay mid-table. Although we think they'll finish 8th.
Wheeling and Dealing: None, they haven't signed anyone.
Rivalries: None in the Mytanar Takillega this season.
Trophies Won: None
Fans: They fill out their stadium every week (there are only two clubs on Magev Island, Olympik of Stratenberg and Staining Town - the latter being in the 3.Liga, so Olympik easily have more support - but population is almost halved between the two teams), they have good support and travel well - going anywhere with their team. They are loyal to the team, not the loudest - but have some funny chants and generally have a laugh about themselves quite often - with them being isolated from the rest of the nation out on Magev Island. Good, solid fans.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are leftist on economic issues and fairly centrist on social issues.

Parr City: Rugic - Maestic, Kiril, Mahuc, Marquez - Lulykin, Demarchelier, Gagnon, Ros - Ó Murchú, Magnusson.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They finished 4th last year and as we seem to say every season about Parr City - they really need to win something this season or Famre Rezic will be out of a job. But he's still going strong at the helm of the Power. They'll just want to win something, whether it be the Trophie del Nakional or the league... Anything will do, we think they'll finish 4th and possibly have a run in the Trophie del Nakional.
Wheeling and Dealing: They've sold their creative drive, Jules Talmont to Canalave Dragons in Valladares for M(C)17 million - they've brought in Andreas Lulykin from local rivals from Dukla Nastalich FK - will the fans trust him? They don't like players from their hated rivals and they will make no exception for Lulykin unless he turns in the performances.
Rivalries: None in the Mytanar Takillega this season.
Trophies Won: 1x Trophie del Nakional
Fans: Their stadium is filled every game, with their team having a large Hureci following. They don't make as much noise as some of the other team's fans. But they go out in force, their team being one of the focusses of their week. They know their team has the money, and are vocal about it, booing the players whenever they do badly.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are far-right on all issues and are particularly racist because of their large Hureci following. Hurecs are people from Nasto and they hate the mainlanders and want Nasto to become its' own nation. They hate the other races within Mytannion, mainly the Ofraics. This is quite idiosyncratic seen as one of their legends (Benoit Visoisse - who is still playing and is only 19) is Ofraic.

SK Port Jarko: Huzar - Ekela, Tudnak, Babic, Djordic - Pechachek, Domesek, Bogdanic, Ninkovic, Voznyuk - Jandacek.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They won the 2.Takillega at a canter last season and the East Coast giants got promoted back to the big time along with rivals Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast. They will just want to establish themselves back in the Mytanar Takillega and grow as a club again, they haven't made many signings at all and have relied on their amazing youth system - this should be enough to keep them up. We think they'll finish 9th.
Wheeling and Dealing: They brought in Dmitri Tudnak from relegated Dukla Nastalich FK, a tough, strong defender is just what SK Port Jarko need at the back. They did lose star player Tomislav Dikuta though and that could prove fatal to them.
Rivalries: Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast (East Coast Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x Mytanar Takillega, 1x Trophie del Nakional, 1x 2.Takillega
Fans: They are reliable, possibly only second to 1896 Ebor/Atletik Thessia fans for consistency. They have got their wish as the Bayarena has been expanded from 8000 to 18,000 and is now very nearly all-seater. They are loyal and football is life on the coast - it dominates the topics of everyones conversation and they always debate how the side is doing.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are liberal on social issues but centrist economically. They are also one of the most politically active groups and their fans have been known to attend enormous political rallies and cause trouble.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They narrowly avoided relegation last season, finishing 9th - and so they'll be happy if they can just finish a bit higher than they did last season. But they've lost some of their better players, but have brought in some decent talent - we don't think this will be enough, and think they'll be relegated. We think they'll finish 10th.
Wheeling and Dealing: They've brought Yannis Petterson in from FC Axel Heiburg for M(C)12 million to replace outgoing Thessia '23 legend, Leandro - who has left for Cap Nordique in Cotdelapoms for a good M(C)10 million.
Rivalries: Atletik Thessia (Thessia Derby), Olympic Thessia (Workers' Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x Trophie del Nakional, 1x 2.Takillega
Fans: The fans of East Thessia are loyal - like all other fans of Thessian teams. They are fanatical and just want to be the best team in the city, although that would take the dethroning of Atletik Thessia - which may not happen for a long while. They would be happy to go ahead of Olympic Thessia - who are currently the 2nd best team in Thessia. They are loud and quite violent towards other local teams and so police presences are significant when there are derbies between Thessia clubs. They'd be happy to see their side escape relegation and perhaps send Olympic down in the process.

The Kombarov Crown

Welcome to Esca, Mytannion - for the Kombarov Crown. The game that is played between the winner of the Mytanar Takillega and the winner of the Trophie del Nakional - just before the start of each season. It's 1992 - and we're right at the start of a new season so here we go. First of all, let's meet the teams.

(Key players are bolded, foreign players are in italics)

Decraa United: Pelenka - Sovlainin, Dirarno, Dontigny, Balson - Herzog, Goricag, Tir, Rosler - Clarke, v Tuhinju.

They are lead by Cotdelapomais centre-back, Daniel Dontigny who leads them out of the Decraa Arena tunnel each time they play - he is their inspirational captain. Lenart Goricag is an international-class player, he plays for the national team; he has 69 caps for the national side and 8 goals. He is a brilliant midfielder, his passing, volleys and heading are his three best attributes going forward, whilst he is a tough tackler and a very strong player defensively. Henning Tir adds a bit of drive, grit and determination to the midfield - the Polarian was a major player for them last season in their run to the Trophie del Nakional. Uwe Rosler is a creative attacking midfielder, who plays just in-behind the front two. His dribbling makes a lot of openings for this side. Danny Clarke is a brilliant striker, the Sorthern forward got a lot of goals from the counter-attacking way that Randy Vorska sets out his side. Laze v Tuhinju is a giant up front who gets a lot of headers whilst also retaining an unexpected turn of pace which allows him to get away from defenders - his finishing is brilliant too.

Miago City: Sayer - Danilo, Cohleb, Hucar, van Senisnen - Sundstrom, Villemure, Reid, Sivoli - Filo, Bakken.

They are captained by Henrik van Senisnen, the fullback who is young but has a lot of experience for this side - who are a good mixture of old and new, foreign and home-grown, bargain buys and shrewd deals. Pol Sundstrom is another Polarian in our league, and his importance is not understated in this side at all - if they lost him, they would lose their drive and determination. He got a lot of goals by arriving late and smashing rebounds in from the edge of the box. Arnaud Villemure is nearing 30 but is still a great Cotdelapomais creative influence in this side. Tomas Sivoli is an under-21 player who has the skill and talent of someone much older who had the ability to be able to ghost through defences completely unchallenged - his dribbling is so fast. Miroslav Filo is a top buy by the Miago manager, he was brought in from Marinos Metropolis in Valladares - his goalscoring is something that you can't just find in a player - he scores an awful lot and seemingly never gets bored of making defenders looking like fools. Stefano Bakken is a fox in the box, who - simply poaches goals by tapping them in and heading them in from close-range.

Man of the Match: Pol Sundstrom, Miago City.
Attendance: 49,786 (Capacity, 50,000).

Decraa United struck first blood with a goal from Laze v Tuhinju, a cross from Henning Tir was directed towards the big mans' head and he simply nodded the ball home. Miago City came back nicely with new signing Miroslav Filo getting two goals in eleven minutes - his first was a slotted home effort and the second a free-kick right from the edge of the box. Tir turned from provider to scorer by blasting an effort in from 20+ yards. Pol Sundstrom easily matched his compatriot though, by hitting a rebound from a corner into the top corner from a similar position. Tomas Sivoli rounded off the scoring to guarantee a Miago victory in the 84th minute with a nice dribble through the Decraa defence to win it for Miago City, 4-2.

Trophie del Nakional.

The National Cup, is starting - and all the teams are in the running for it, it is an interesting competition and gives all teams the chance to showcase their talent before the season starts. The format is the same as always, the three promoted sides and the five teams that finished from 5th-9th, play in the first round and the four winning teams go to the Quarter Finals - against the top four sides from the previous Takillega, the winners of these go to the Semi Finals and then the winners to the final, obviously - the winner of that game is the Trophie del Nakional Champion.

Decraa United beat recently promoted Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast, 2-1 - Henning Tir and Danny Clarke scoring to them through to the Quarter Finals. Olympik of Stratenberg are through, Claude Castonguay scoring from close range after getting on the end of a Nyar Utca cross - they beat 1923 Esca and are now through to the quarters. Olympic Thessia were surprised by SK Port Jarko, losing 3-1, Josef Gunnarsson scored first - but his goal was cancelled out by a Pechachek free-kick and then a Ninkovic penalty. The game was finished off by Zikmund Jandacek's fine finish to put them ahead 3-1 and through to the next round. Litala '93 beat Thessia '23 1-0 at Wyan Road - the 'Purple-White Army' won through thanks to Erathi youngster, Isidoro Nao - who twisted and turned his way through the Thessia '23 defence to slot past Kazzorian goalkeeper, Howard Clarke - to put Litala '93 through.

SK Port Jarko surprised Takillega Champions Miago City, by beating them 3-1 after extra time. Zikmund Jandacek got two for the Fishermen, his second being the pick of the goals after Pechachek whipped in a great ball for him to volley home. Litala '93 took Atletik Thessia all the way to penalties before being beaten, Isidoro Nao got two - a header and a free-kick, before Ure Rundschau hit back with a double of his own. Rundschau burst into the box to smash the first home, before tapping-in the second. Robin Hjik put Atletik ahead with a free-kick. Zaporizhin headed one to get the teams back level, St-Hilaire put them back ahead with a penalty before Klinicki brought Atletik back to 4-4 in injury time. It went to penalties and Atletik Thessia won. 1896 Ebor thrashed Olympik of Stratenberg as Jason Campbell got a superb hattrick. Parr City beat Decraa United to get to the Semi-Finals,
as Luc Demarchelier got them their winner - with a great run into the box and then lashing one home.

Atletik Thessia romped their way to the Trophie del Nakional final, after Rundschau got a nice headed double - both off of pinpoint corners by Mirko Tasecchi who is becoming an integral part of this team. Jandacek made a reply for SK Port Jarko, but Robin Hjik got a third for Atletik to put them out of reach. 1896 Ebor beat Parr City in a narrow encounter, Campbell got a headed double (something he is more known for than anyone else - apart from perhaps Laze v Tuhinju), which was added to by a Ludvik Vanbetoven blast. Parr City did attempt a late comeback, but Demarchelier's double was to no avail as they fell to the hands of the Northmen.

The final came from the national stadium in the capital city Esca. Stade Kombarov I, was half tangerine - half sky-blue, and they were prepared to watch a great game. There was plenty of action, teams firing shots on goal from every angle but the goalkeepers really were the men-of-the-match as they parried, saved and tipped every shot that was made on goal. It was a brilliant game but no one could beat the two great goalkeepers. Rudi Holzman - Mytanar national team goalkeeper and Stephen Nightingale, Sorthern Northland international - and playing for the World Cup champions is no mean feat, even as third-choice 'keeper. It went to extra-time, and the teams were still level - Ure Rundschau scored first in extra-time with a volley from around the penalty spot, only to be equalised by Jason Campbell who sprung past the offside trap to slide a low shot past Stephen Nightingale. It went to penalties and Atletik Thessia won out 4-3, to win the Trophie del Nakional for the fourth time in their history and will represent Mytannion in the Cygnus Cup.

1896 Ebor thrashed Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast 6-0 at the Oluja Stadion, thanks to a hattrick from Jason Campbell, a league debut double from Vladimir Golubev and a Ludvik Vanbetoven 30+ yarder. This put the Tangerine Army top on matchday one. Decraa United almost matched this scoreline though, as they beat 2.Takillega champions SK Port Jarko 6-1. Henning Tir got two, a header from a whipped corner and a penalty. Laze v Tuhinju also got two of his own - a dribble through some defenders, and then shooting low past Huzar in the net. His second was one of his classic headers. Goricag and Rosler got the other goals for Decraa and Zikmund Jandacek got a late consolation goal for SK Port Jarko. Miago City did not make the best of starts in the defence of their title as they fell 2-1 at the hands of Olympik of Stratenberg, Nyar Utca and Andrey Csekov scored for them - with new signing Miroslav Filo getting the solitary Miago City goal.

The first draw of the season came from Waldhof Stadion in Stratenberg as Olympik of Stratenberg and Parr City drew 0-0, Atletik Thessia beat Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast comfortably with a 2-0 win. Ure Rundschau and Ole van Jendrisen got the goals there. 1923 Esca beat Litala '93 1-0 to leave the visitors in the relegation zone, Vladislav Marusic got a 56th minute goal for the Reds. 1896 Ebor stayed top as they beat SK Port Jarko in a 3-2 thriller. Campbell scored first with a header, only for that to be equalised with a Jandacek header. Raimundo Olivar put Ebor back ahead with a brilliant curled effort, this was answered by Premysl Pechachek who blasted home a volley from 18 yards. The game was won by Ludvik Vanbetoven, whose dribble through the heart of the Port Jarko defence was amazing, and was capped with a shot slotted past Huzar to leave the Rebels languishing in the relegation zone.

Atletik Thessia keep matching 1896 Ebor as both have 9 points thus far in the season. Atletik beat 1923 Esca 4-2, Rundschau and Lijenost Klinicki both got doubles, and a miniature revival from 1923 Esca gave Marusic and Klimy a goal each. Parr City thrashed Olympic Thessia 5-1, with Seán Ó Murchú running wild with four goals. The best of his goals was an awkward shot from the corner of the 18 yard box which flew into the top corner, the other Parr goal came from Andreas Lulykin who signed from Parr's local rivals Dukla Nastalich FK. Decraa United and Miago City played out a 3-3 draw which made for some great action, Decraa stormed into a two-goal lead, with Henning Tir and v Tuhinju grabbing a goal apiece. Miago City came back though, through Miroslav Filo - who got their first and he also set-up Tomas Sivoli to bring the teams level. Decraa United went back ahead through a Lenart Goricag volley, but Miago City drew level in 92nd minute through a Pol Sundstrom strike.

SK Port Jarko got their first point of this season as they drew against four time Mytanar Takillega champions Atletik Thessia, Jandacek scored first for Port Jarko only to be answered by a Atletik captain Robin Hjik, who blasted a free kick home from about 24 yards. Olympik of Stratenberg beat 1923 Esca 2-1, with Claude Castonguay getting both - 1923 Esca answered through Marusic, but they couldn't muster the strength to get another goal. Parr City also won, against Decraa United - with a 2-1 victory, Luc Demarchelier showing his quality as he twisted his way away from defenders twice to get a delightful double against Decraa United - who did worry Parr for a while at the end after they got an 80th minute goal from Danny Clarke and started to pile on the pressure, but they didn't get another - and Parr City won. This left 1896 Ebor, Parr City, Atletik Thessia and Olympik of Stratenberg all on 10 points at the top - only separated by goal difference.

Atletik were pushed all the way to the wire by Olympik of Stratenberg, Atletik were ahead after 5 minutes thanks to Lijenost Klinicki, this was cancelled out by Claude Castonguay who rose the highest to head the ball home. Atletik were put back ahead by Mirko Tasecchi who curled a free-kick beyond Karl Dobby. Nyar Utca brought the Islanders back level - but the game was won by Ole van Jendrisen who won and then scored a penalty for the Citizens. 1896 Ebor beat Parr City 2-1 thanks to Campbell and Golubev, who combined for both goals - Golubev crossed the ball for Campbell to nod home, Campbell chipped the ball high over the Parr defenders' heads and Golubev nipped in behind them and slotted past Jens Rugic. Parr City did get one back through Luc Demarchelier, who smashed one past Rudi Holzman late on. These two results ended up with 1896 Ebor and Atletik Thessia back, three points ahead at the top. Litala '93 got their first win of the season as they beat Decraa United 1-0 thanks to Isidoro Nao, who lobbed the keeper from 20 yards. SK Port Jarko also got their first win of the season as they beat Thessia '23, Jandacek and Pechachek got the goals for them, Yannis Petterson, the Polarian getting one for Thessia '23.

Atletik Thessia won out in the Thessia Derby, as Robin Hjik got two for his team (he was born on the street behind the Kippax, in his family home), Yannis Petterson got one for Thessia '23. Miago City beat SK Port Jarko thanks to a Miroslav Filo header and Olympic Thessia beat Olympik of Stratenberg 4-0, Josef Gunnarsson got two and Tomislav Dikuta also got a double. Decraa United beat 1923 Esca 2-1, Laze v Tuhinju got two either side of a 1923 Esca goal from Vladislav Marusic. 1896 Ebor beat Litala '93 3-1, Campbell getting two and Ludvik Vanbetoven one before Isidoro Nao got one of his own. 1896 Ebor and Atletik Thessia both still top on 16 points. Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast were languishing at the bottom on 3 points.

Olympic Thessia won the Zenit Toranj Derby, with a 2-1 victory. Filip Pedretti got both of them before Ure Rundschau replied late to try and spark a comeback, which never happened really. Miago City went third as they beat Thessia '23, thanks to midfield dynamo Tomas Sivoli - who got both the goals, he scored a penalty and also a curled effort. 1896 Ebor stretched their lead at the top because Atletik lost and they won, quite simply - they beat 1923 Esca 3-0, Golubev and Olivar sharing the goals, Golubev getting two - the winger cut inside time after time and was rewarded with two goals. Litala '93 beat Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast 3-1, Isidoro Nao getting two - the youngster ripped the Cosmos defence apart several times, Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast's goal came from Porlet Bat Kishmaner, the Citiz striker having 9 for the season now, Litala '93 got their third through Nikolay Zaporizhin who volleyed one home from 23 yards.

Atletik Thessia thrashed the Champions Miago City 5-0, Ure Rundschau proved he was a goal poacher - with two goals from inside the six-yard box. Robin Hjik, blasted a shot in from the edge of the box. Mirko Tasecchi twisted and turned his way through the defence and slotted home and Ole van Jendrisen proved his quality with a run from inside his own half to shoot home. Olympik of Stratenberg thrashed the title chasers 1896 Ebor, absolutely stunning the home support - with an 8-1 win, Claude Castonguay got a hattrick, Nyar Utca got two as did Andrey Csekov, Luka Nevorihn topped it off with an eighth goal. Litala '93 beat SK Port Jarko 4-0, with Isidoro Nao getting all four. The 17-year old is currently destroying the league and probably has one of the brightest futures in football, he certainly will be a talent that Erathore will use in the future on their national side.

Atletik Thessia romped to victory beating Decraa United 9-2, Lijenost Klinicki may have been off-form so far this season but he scored 4 in this game, Robin Hjik also got two and Ole van Jendrisen got a late hattrick, in the last twenty minutes. Lenart Goricag got the two Decraa United goals. Olympic Thessia beat 1896 Ebor 4-2, thanks to Josef Gunnarsson once again - his hattrick basically winning them the game. Jason Campbell, got one for the Northmen, whose other goal came from Ludvik Vanbetoven. Olympic Thessia's other goal came from Filip Pedretti. Thessia '23 and Litala '93 shared the spoils from the Kaunostadion as they drew 1-1, Yannis Petterson opened the scoring for Thessia '23, but his goal was cancelled out by Isidoro Nao's ninth of the game, his free-kick whipping into the top corner. Olympik of Stratenberg eased past Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast by beating them 3-0, Claude Castonguay getting two and being backed up by Nyar Utca who got the third.

Atletik Thessia got a vital win over Parr City, as they play 1896 Ebor next week. Ole van Jendrisen got yet another double, his dribbling skills really being shown as he weaved his way through the defence twice to score two against Parr City, Luc Demarchelier being their goalscorer. 1896 Ebor eased past Decraa United - Jason Campbell getting a hattrick in front of the Northbank at the Oluja Stadion. Litala '93 comfortably beat the champions, Miago City - by three goals to nil, Nikolay Zaporizhin getting two and Isidoro Nao getting yet another goal mean they are right on the fringes of international competitions. Olympic Thessia thrashed Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast at Spionar Road, their captain getting a hattrick - Josef Gunnarsson now having 8 goals for the season. Filip Pedretti did get two of his own too and Tomislav Dikuta rounded off the goalscoring for Olympic Thessia. 1923 Esca beat Thessia '23 thanks to 17-year old Vladislav Marusic, who they have to thank a lot this season - as he is their top goalscorer with 7 goals thus far. SK Port Jarko beat the highflying Olympik of Stratenberg thanks to Zikmund Jandacek, whose double dragged them out of the relegation zone. Olympik of Stratenberg's reply came from who? Surprise, surprise, it was Claude Castonguay who got the goal for them.

Atletik Thessia look like they're going to win 'their' title back after last season's disappointment, they're three points ahead of 1896 Ebor - who are still going to be happen with a TQCC place. Olympic Thessia will be happy to be sat in third, chasing the TQCC spot - and highflying Olympik of Stratenberg will be pleased with 4th after ten games. Last season's champions Miago City are languishing down in fifth, and will want to improve on that. In sixth, Litala '93 will be proud of their performance thus far. Moneybags Parr City are in seventh and their manager Famre Rezic looks under pressure, if he does not improve their position soon - his job will be gone. 1923 Esca will be pleased with eighth at the moment, although they're level on points with ninth-placed SK Port Jarko. Thessia '23 are in the relegation zone and they will want to dig themselves out of there somehow. Decraa United have done surprisingly badly and are sit down in 11th, they really need to stay up - if they don't, they will lose all their key players and will probably be bankrupted, the money the Takillega rewards them with is paying for the new stadium they built only six years ago. It is no surprise that Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast sit bottom of the league though, with only one win all season and four points - they'll probably just be happy with doubling that by the end of the season really.

Atletik Thessia beat 1896 Ebor in a pivotal game in the Mytanar Takillega season, Robin Hjik's inspirational performance led them to this victory as he scored both goals late in the game to get a late win for the Citizens, and a win which could very well decide the title race. Litala '93 thrashed the Moneybags, Parr City - the side from the East End of Esca have built a strong side and thanks to a hattrick from Isidoro Nao (yes, another!) and Nikolay Zaporizhin's double, meant that they would go back to Esca happy. Decraa United thrashed Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast 10-1, Laze v Tuhinju ran riot scoring five, this was added to by Henning Tir (2), Uwe Rosler (2) and Danny Clarke - this astonishing victory was not enough to get them out of the relegation zone however, as Thessia '23 beat Olympik of Stratenberg - Yannis Petterson's late double was enough to win it as they came from behind to beat the Islanders. 1923 Esca beat Miago City 1-0 which leaves the champions in 6th, chasing the pack of five in the international spots, 1923 Esca have Vladislav Marusic to thank once again as the youngster smashed one home to win it.

Litala '93 beat Atletik Thessia at Wyan Road - Isidoro Nao once again showing his class as he rattled the crossbar with a scorching shot, which then bounced off the goal-line and into the net. 1896 Ebor were pushed to the limit by Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast and Porlet Bat Kishmaner, whose double had the Cosmos 2-0 up at half-time, Jason Campbell scored shortly after half-time to halve the lead, and Vladimir Golubev backed him up with the equalising goal. Golubev got the winner too with a massive goal from 30 yards. Parr City eased past 1923 Esca, with Luc Demarchelier getting two great goals. Decraa United dragged themselves out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 win over SK Port Jarko, they had the midfield duo of Henning Tir and Lenart Goricag to thank for their victory. Miago City thrashed Olympik of Stratenberg with Tomas Sivoli and Pol Sundstrom sharing the goals.

Atletik Thessia were shocked by a brilliant Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast side, Atletik were 3-0 up at half-time thanks to Matthijs van Schorel's double and Ole van Jendrisen's free-kick. But a superb Bat Kishmaner double and then another two from Jarmil Maly meant that Cosmopolitan had their second win of the season against the most successful team in the country. Litala '93 won the East End Derby against 1923 Esca, Isidoro Nao getting his 15th goal of the season and continuing an amazing scoring run. 1896 Ebor breezed past SK Port Jarko, Jason Campbell got two and Golubev added two of his own which showed the Oluja Stadion fans what the team are really made of. This win for the Tangerine Army meant they were back level on points with Atletik, who had seemingly hit a very bad patch of form. Parr City are relying heavily on Luc Demarchelier's shoulders to keep them in international competition spots, as he got another two goals to beat Olympik of Stratenberg. Decraa United easily beat Thessia '23, as Lenart Goricag showed his national team quality with two goals, the other coming from Laze v Tuhinju.

Atletik Thessia beat 1923 Esca 4-3 away from home, Marusic got two for the side from the capital and Klimy backed him up with another - but one each for Robin Hjik, Ure Rundschau, Lijenost Klinicki and Mirko Tasecchi meant that the Citizens would win it, and go top alone as 1896 Ebor lost out to another Thessian side, Thessia '23, Yannis Petterson once again the hero for them - as they won 2-1. Litala '93 and Olympik of Stratenberg played out a 6 goal thriller, Zaporizhin had put two goals into the Olympik net before the Islanders stormed back to 2-2 through Claude Castonguay and Andrey Csekov, Isidoro Nao put Litala 3-2 up but a late leveller from Castonguay meant it finished 3-3. Miago City won out in the Central Derby, beating rivals Decraa United 1-0, the inspirational Polarian Pol Sundstrom (who has already gone down in Miago City folklore after helping them to the league title last season), won it for them with a brilliant volley from outside the box.

Atletik Thessia beat SK Port Jarko by one goal, Matthijs van Schorel hitting the ball first-time into the top corner to win it for Atletik. Thessia '23 also beat Olympik of Stratenberg by a single goal, Yannis Petterson getting his 8th goal of the season with a neat header into the bottom corner. His 8th goal of the season took his club upto 8th in the table, too. Litala '93 beat Olympic Thessia 3-1, conceding what was only their fifteenth goal against all season (so they've only conceded one a game, basically - which is good in the Takillega), Arni Scuda - their young keeper could be an early contender for Player of the Season. Zaporizhin got two and Nao got one for Litala, with Gunnarsson hitting back for Olympic Thessia. 1896 Ebor and Miago City shared the spoils of a 2-2 draw, but a draw wasn't really enough for either side - Campbell got both for 1896 and Filo got both for Miago. Decraa United won out in a tough 3-2 win against Parr City, Laze v Tuhinju showed his class with two more goals in the air - he could be a perfect targetman for the national side. Parr City came back through Luc Demarchelier, who got two more for them - Parr are perhaps too reliant on the Polarian midfielder now. A winning goal came from Henning Tir who won and then scored a penalty.

A serious injury to Ure Rundschau marred what was an exciting game in Stratenberg. A Claude Castonguay hattrick and goals from Csekov and Nevorihn were enough to do away with the 4 times Takillega champions who still managed three goals even without their talismanic striker. Ole van Jendrisen got his 11th of the season, Klinicki added to this with a curled strike and the Atletik captain Robin Hjik also scored from outside the box - but even so, this was not enough to see away with the Islanders. SK Port Jarko beat Thessia '23 thanks to Zikmund Jandacek's strike, they're still in the relegation zone though and five points adrift of 9th placed Thessia '23. Miago City thrashed bottom side Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast 4-0, Miroslav Filo's double and goals from Tomas Sivoli and Pol Sundstrom were enough to see the champions move ever closer to 4th placed Olympic Thessia who slipped up against 1923 Esca - where Josef Gunnarsson and Filip Pedretti scored for Olympic, but 1923 came from 2-0 down to 2-2 after Marusic's double. Parr City came away with three points as they beat 1896 Ebor at home, at the Centralstadion - Luc Demarchelier won it with an absolute wonderstrike from well outside the box.

Atletik had a weakened side without Ure Rundschau and it showed as they were comprehensively battered by Thessia '23 in the Thessia Derby, Yannis Petterson ran riot for them as he got 4 goals, Ole van Jendrisen got the solitary Atletik goal. SK Port Jarko shocked Miago City who are now sitting, not too happily, in 6th - Jandacek's penalty double and Pechachek's free-kick meant that all of Port Jarko's goals came from set-pieces, Miroslav Filo got the Miago reply. Decraa United eased past 1923 Esca, Laze v Tuhinju getting two more to make his tally 15 for the season. Marusic got a 91st minute goal but there was no real pressure from 1923 Esca. 1896 Ebor beat Litala '93 by one goal, Campbell's massive header enough for them to come within two points of Atletik's lead at the top - Litala '93 are now four points behind second-placed 1896 Ebor and six points behind Atletik.

It has been an embarrassing couple of weeks for Atletik Thessia, as they have lost both of their derby games - this time Olympic Thessia won out in the Zenit Toranj Derby, at the Kaunostadion which was alight with flares and massive banners - the pitch was invaded several times and there was plenty of crowd trouble. Pedretti's hattrick was enough to win for Olympic - with Ole van Jendrisen getting his 13th goal of the season for Atletik, in reply. Miago City smashed past Thessia '23 with a 3-0 win, Miroslav Filo scored first as he ran clear through on goal - Pol Sundstrom followed this up with a nice double, a low strike from the edge of the box and a volley from inside the 6-yard box for the Polarian midfielder sent Miago City equal on points with local rivals Decraa United. Decraa United won out in the 10-goal thriller from the Decraa Arena, against Olympik of Stratenberg. Goals from v Tuhinju (3), Tir (2) and Goricag (1) - Castonguay's double, Csekov and Nevorihn were where the goals came from for the Islanders. Litala '93 beat Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast in a great 3-2 game, Marko Heine got a hattrick for Litala '93 with Porlet Bat Kishmaner getting his team's goals - meaning he now has 15 goals for the season now, even though his side are already relegated.

It's starting to get very exciting at both the top and the bottom of the Mytanar Takillega. Atletik Thessia and Miago City met at Maine Road, where a draw was not really good enough for either side - but that was the result, Atletik's goal came from Lijenost Klinicki and Miago's reply from Tomas Sivoli. Decraa United eased past Olympic Thessia with a 2-0 win, Danny Clarke's double meant that they are definitely in the thick of the international competitions spots. Thessia '23 beat Parr City, Yannis Petterson getting two more to add to his total of 12 - he now has 14 for this season. Demarchelier did get a goal for Parr City, too. 1896 Ebor thrashed Olympik of Stratenberg, Campbell, Golubev and Vanbetoven all getting two goals each. Litala '93 beat SK Port Jarko 1-0 away from home, Isidoro Nao getting his 18th of the season. Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast may be relegated but they have now got their third win of the season, which is good... For them. Anyway, Bat Kishmaner was once again to thank as he got both of their goals, the Citiz international has been the best of a bad bunch for them - with 17 goals, he'll be disappointed that, although he's been a good player - his side are still going down.

Atletik Thessia and Decraa United drew 1-1, a result that neither side really wanted - Ole van Jendrisen kept his scoring streak up, with another goal - and Laze v Tuhinju moves ever closer to 20 goals for the season, he got his nineteenth today. Miago City got an important win over Parr City, Miroslav Filo, Tomas Sivoli and Pol Sundstrom all got a goal each and Luc Demarchelier got two for Parr - a very important win for Miago, but they need to keep winning if they want to even come close to retaining their title. Olympic Thessia beat 1896 Ebor 2-1, a result Ebor did not want - Gunnarsson and Pedretti got a goal each for Olympic, with Golubev replying late-on for 1896. Litala '93 capitalised on Atletik and 1896 Ebor not getting better results than they did, as they beat Thessia '23 3-0 thanks to Isidoro Nao and Marko Heine - who shared the goals. Litala '93, the side from the poor part of Esca - the East part of the city - are surprisingly top after 20 games, but it isn't all too surprising, they've built a good side, mixed between youthful players and experienced heads which really works well together - they will be hard pressed to win it, but they could still do it. Olympik of Stratenberg beat Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast 2-0, thanks to Andrey Csekov's double. 1923 Esca will have Vladislav Marusic to thank if they do stay up - they'll need to win both their remaining games and hope for slip-ups from other teams though, Marusic got another goal and is wanted by a whole host of clubs within the Takillega and could possibly even get a move abroad if there is interest in him.

Litala '93 are surprisingly top of the league, which, as we've already said - isn't all that surprising, they have built a good side at Wyan Road - and they have good support too. 1896 Ebor and Atletik Thessia are near enough in exactly the same position, they need wins - both of them - they both also need to win the league or Mika Vertinov may lose his job, and fans have already been calling for Jamie Brown's head at Atletik. Olympic Thessia have done well to get themselves into the international competitions spots, and will just hope to stay there at this point. Decraa United occupy the last international competition spot, but their local rivals Miago City will be chasing them all the way - the champions are near enough out of the title race, and probably won't retain their title. Olympik of Stratenberg sit happily in 7th, but, they need a point - to make sure they will stay up this season, that is exactly the same situation as Thessia '23 too - who just need to get a point to make sure they're safe this season. Moneybags Parr City will not be pleased with their season at all, Famre Rezic has been told he is out of a job at the end of the season, but will be given a chance to at least keep his side up. 1923 Esca and SK Port Jarko can both still stay up, but they both need to win both of their remaining games - a tough challenge to say the least. And little Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast are already relegated, they've had good fun - but just aren't good enough for this level of football yet.

Atletik Thessia beat Parr City easily enough, Ole van Jendrisen and Lijenost Klinicki getting goals to get an easy enough win for them there. Decraa United battered 1896 Ebor, v Tuhinju got a big header, Henning Tir got a penalty, and scored it and Danny Clarke got his 5th goal of the season, Jason Campbell answered with a calm finish of his own. Miago City and Litala '93 played out a nil-nil bore draw, not much action happening there. Olympic Thessia beat Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast easily enough, Tomislav Dikuta got two, and Pedretti and Gunnarsson shared the other two. Porlet Bat Kishmaner did get a late double, but there was to be no comeback by Cosmos. Thessia '23 beat 1923 Esca easily enough, Yannis Petterson getting another goal - he's doing well this season and has helped Thessia '23 a whole lot. SK Port Jarko battered relegation rivals Olympik of Stratenberg 7-1, four from Jandacek and a hattrick from Pechachek won it for them and kept them in with a shout of staying up.

Atletik Thessia are top and possibly in with the best shout of winning the league, although the top four all still have a chance of winning the league. Atletik are definitely in the drivers' seat and definitely look like they're on track to win their fifth title. Litala '93 will be pleased with their season, but they can still win it - if Isidoro Nao has his way, they almost certainly will. 1896 Ebor will want to win it still - and they have a very good chance of doing exactly that, they play Atletik on the last day. Olympic Thessia could win the league but are still concentrating on consolidating their Globe Cup spot - it'll have to be one or the other for them or they may fall out of both. Decraa United still need to consolidate international competitions, that is what they want - they have bills to pay and if they don't pay them - they could easily be bankrupted. The champions, Miago City will not retain their title this season - so we may as well stop calling them the champions now, but they can still break into international competitions, that is what they will be looking to do on the last day. Thessia '23 are destined for mid-table as they cannot be relegated, but cannot qualify for international competitions either. That is a good season for them and they will most certainly be pleased with how they have done. Olympik of Stratenberg can still very easily be relegated, and so need to win on the last day. The same goes for Parr City, who are in an even worse position - they need to win, or SK Port Jarko may just stay up. It is going to be interesting on the last day, SK Port Jarko need to win to stay up. One thing is certain though, amongst the mess that is the Mytanar Takillega - 1923 Esca and Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast are already relegated. If SK Port Jarko go down - it'll be a hattrick of promoted teams heading back down to the 2.Takillega.

1896 Ebor and Atletik Thessia drew 2-2, Robin Hjik scored first - Ebor came back though, and the Northbank roared as Golubev smashed one in from the edge of the box. Ole van Jendrisen whipped in a corner and Lijenost Klinicki got onto it, heading it low into the bottom corner, but Golubev was not to be denied as he went on a solo run through the Atletik defence, then curled it past Nightingale in the Atletik net. Litala '93 breezed past Parr City 3-0, this win meant that they would win the title for the first time in the club's history. Isidoro Nao, Marko Heine and Nikolay Zaporizhin all nabbed a goal each. Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast managed their fourth win of the season with a Porlet Bat Kishmaner goal, Miago City beat 1923 Esca 3-1, Miroslav Filo got a hattrick there to jump them into the international competitions once again. SK Port Jarko and Olympic Thessia played out a nice last day, boring nil-nil draw and Thessia '23 once again has Yannis Petterson to thank for a win over Olympik of Stratenberg - which meant they were safely stood in mid-table for the end of the season.

Litala '93 win their first ever Mytanar Takillega, and qualify for all the tournaments coming out of that - the TakilQuip Champions' Cup, the Rushmore Copa de Campeones and the Copa de las Islas. Atletik finish second, after choking on the last day - but still qualify for the TQCC and Copa de Campeones. 1896 Ebor are third, Mika Vertinov's career as their manager could be over - but only time will tell. Olympic Thessia will be pleased with 4th, as they get international competitions and have the chance to showcase their attacking talent on the world-stage. Miago City, last season's champions finish 5th - just inside the international competitions spots. Decraa United - finish 6th and will be pleased after the terrible start they had to the season, although they'll probably lose some of their top players because of it. Thessia '23 will be pleased with their mid-table finish, and Olympik of Stratenberg will be pleased with surviving. Parr City also stay up, but they'll lose all their top talent even with their money - it proves money can not make you have a good team and Famre Rezic's reign as their manager is over now, he was given to the end of the season - but he didn't perform upto the board's expectations and so is out of a job. SK Port Jarko, 1923 Esca and Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast were all promoted upto the Mytanar Takillega last season - and all are heading straight back down. They gave us some good fun, but they were not good enough to stay up. Sadness.

Isidoro Nao wins the Golden Boot, by virtue of playing less games than v Tuhinju and Bat Kishmaner - v Tuhinju playing less than the latter and therefore finishing second. Jason Campbell racked up 19 goals and finished 4th, Yannis Petterson led his side well, basically the guy who made them do so well - he is 5th in the race for the Golden Boot this season.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: 1896 Ebor, once again, finished 3rd last season - it seems like that is becoming a bit of a broken record now - it has happened so many times. However, this could well be Mika Vertinov's last chance to win them some silverware - if he doesn't win something with them this season, he will almost certainly be out on his ear. As such, his board's and our expectations are for them to either win the Trophie del Nakional or win the league, the more likely of the two - is obviously the Cup, so we have them down for a Trophie del Nakional and finishing 2nd in the league. Quite simply, if they don't - the changes as they say, will most certainly be rung for next season - both in the managerial department, and the playing department.
Wheeling and Dealing: They spent big money on Janek Pidulski, a Swartazian right-back - who played for IFK Goteborg before 1896 Ebor spent M(C)16 million on bringing the 24-year old to the Oluja Stadion. They sold Christian Parmova to Etoile Rouge in Cotdelapoms for M(C)3.5 million. They brought in two new defenders, Dmitri Tudnak and Damian Ekela - spending M(C)6 million on buying the both of them away from SK Port Jarko. Alan Alia, their right winger - retired, at the age of 30 - a young age, but his career has been riddled with injuries.

Fans: They have the best fans in the league, their fans haven't got much else to do up in the bitter snow and ice - so football is huge and the fans are fanatical. They go to every game in whatever weather - no matter where their team is playing in the nation or world, they will travel there in numbers. The famous north-stand is the 'Kop' and it rocks every game and is probably one of the loudest and steepest stands in the world. Their stadium is good and has been modernised recently, the fans are loyal, support the team through thick and thin - whether they are winning or losing the Tangerine Army follow their team. Very loud set of fans.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are traditionally liberal on personal issues and socialist on economic issues.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: First of all, we'll take a look at the price of their starting eleven, M(C)88 million. This may seem a lot of money, but, this is counterbalanced with M(C)80 million - the money generated from the sale of three players. It also should be noted that two of the players bought were both homegrown, and bought from within the nation. Last season, they finished 2nd - so nearly winning the league. They also won the Trophie del Nakional, which meant that they reached the Cygnus Cup. They also managed to reach the final of the Copa de Campeones, although they lost to CA Paulinthal in the final of that. They're objectives will to win their fifth Mytanar Takillega title, and their 10th overall honour. The expectations are huge there, and they will be under huge pressure to deliver. We expect them to win the league 1st.
Wheeling and Dealing: They sold Ure Rundschau, for M(C)15 million - to Augustus of Queer Poco el Mono Ara. And so, they needed a replacement - so they have brought in promising youngster, Lewis Bergen from Northbrook Diamonds FK for a hefty price of M(C)16 million - to show how much promise that the Citizens seem to think that the player has.
Rivalries: Olympic Thessia (Zenit Toranj Derby), Thessia '23 (Thessia Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x Rushmore Copa de Campeones, 4x Mytanar Takillega, 4x Trophie del Nakional.
Fans: This season, they will have two true derbies against teams from the same city. They are volatile, loud, loyal and proud of what their team has managed to achieve. They like to have players from Thessia in the side and at one point had an entirely Thessian team, with every player having been born within the city of Thessia or on the outskirts or outlying towns of the city. They didn't win the league by as many points last season and so weren't so bothered when their team started to invest in foreigners. They are extremely loud, extremely loyal and probably have the largest away following in the nation with fans travelling in huge numbers everywhere.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are traditionally left-wing. They support the collective society and like democracy and liberalism on personal/social issues.

Decraa United: Pelenka - Sovlainin, Dirarno, Dontigny, Balson - Herzog, Pechachek, Goricag, Rosler - Clarke, v Tuhinju.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They finished 6th last season, outside the international competitions spots - and for a club that is paying debts, that is no good - they need the money that the TakilQuip Champions' Cup and the Globe Cup can give them, and they failed to qualify for any form of international competition last season. They'll be aiming to return to the international competitions, Randy Vorska, the club manager is a cult figure in Decraa and so will not be sacked unless he somehow gets the club relegated or something stupid like that, he's built a good side in Decraa though and they look good enough to qualify for international competitions again - that may have to be the Cygnus Cup, though - we think they'll finish 6th and maybe have a run in the Trophie del Nakional, maybe... But even that seems very unlikely.
Wheeling and Dealing: The fans made a lot of noise about this and said they needed to bring players in, but they certainly did not like who the transfers out of the Decraa Arena - the club icon, Polarian, Henning Tir has left - going back to the Polar Islandstates, back to Franz Josef City, in fact - but not with SK, he's gone to their massive rivals East Franz Athletic. To replace him, Decraa brought in promising youngster - Premysl Pechachek for M(C)3 million, from SK Port Jarko - a nice little transfer for them, and once again it means they make a profit in the transfer department.
Rivalries: Miago City (The Central Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x Trophie del Nakional.
Fans: Good, noisy fans and come out in numbers when the team is doing well - if they aren't however, fans tend to stay at home and watch games on the television. They could probably spur the team on more than they do but they are certainly good when travelling, supporting their team until the end and not causing too many problems for stewards, police or stadia.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They tend to be left-wing on economic matters but quite nationalistic otherwise. They think that they should keep the nation strong and are quite conservative on social issues.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: Relying on their brilliant youth system last season, they charged to 2nd place in the 2.Takillega - meaning they got automatic promotion to the Mytanar Takillega, they were unfancied by many and had odds of 250-1 to get promoted last season, but they defied everybody and did enough to get promoted. Their simple objectives, will just to be stay up in this division - they have a good team, resources have been pumped into both their youth system and team - and this has made for a team made-up of players born and raised in Donegal (a city of around 3 million people), with a sprinkling of international talent (from Astograth), combined with a couple of experienced 2.Takillega players - of course, these players need to make the step-up into the top division and it is certainly very debatable as to whether or not they shall manage to do that. We expect that they shall manage to make the step-up to the top-flight successfully and expect them to finish 8th, successfully staying in the top division.
Wheeling and Dealing: It was a case of one-in, one-out at O'Donnell Park - as Donegal signed 29-year old Astograthian midfielder, Ametz Soraiz - to add a bit of steel to that midfield - so they can deal with the big attacking forces in the Mytanar Takillega. But, they lost their huge prospect, Thorvar Prijholm - a 14-year old midfielder, who has moved to Bugny FC in Saugeais - for a massive fee of M(C)5.6 million, who looks to be the best player of a generation right there - but he could come back after 3 years, that was a clause that was a huge dealbreaker - as Donegal would like to bring him back at some point if possible.
Rivalries: 1896 Ebor (The Blizzard Derby).
Trophies Won: None.
Fans: The fans up north are mental, quite simply - they are very similar to 1896 Ebor fans - although they would never, ever admit it. The fans are fanatics here too, and they go to every game in every weather - which is mostly snow, really, but they are great travellers too - and go in huge numbers to cities like Thessia, Miago, Parr etc to watch their team play. They don't have any famous stands, like their local rivals in Ebor - but, they have one massive fan group - the Celtic Nation - that has its' own website and are probably one of the biggest fan groups of any team in Mytannion, whether The Snowmen are winning or losing - they will be loyal and follow their side. Loud, proud and have an unhealthy love of green flares.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: The stereotypical Mytanar left. Leftist on economics and left on social matters, supporting personal freedom massively.

Dukla Nastalich FK: Goric - Kappel, M.Enger, F.Enger, Arnautovic - Bauer, Domesek, Sasha, Tomcic - Tanda, Kasun.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: DNFK are back! The original minnows are back in the top-flight and look equipped to stay, with a strong, young side - and a midfield made in Cote-Ast, with two of the midfielders bought in the summer being bought from there. Anyway, last season they won the 2.Takillega at a canter - after being surprisingly relegated down to the second level of Mytanar football in the 1991/1992 season. They will be aiming to establish themselves once again in the top-flight, but the minimum expectation for manager Mirka Jukuk will be to keep this team up - the board will not be bothered if they don't get into international competitions straight away, although it is possible. They will just be hoping to stay up, once they have completed that expectation - if they complete that expectation - then they will try to push on for more. We expect them to establish themselves well within the league this season, and finish around 7th.
Wheeling and Dealing: Well, as stated, they have a midfield made in Cote-Ast - after buying Simun Tomcic and Radomil Sasha for a combined total of M(C)6 million, then they bought striker Paskal Kasun for another M(C)3 million, from Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast once again. And then, their final transfer was bringing in Lubomir Domesek from SK Port Jarko.
Rivalries: Parr City (The Windmill Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x 2.Takillega
Fans: They aren't the minnows they once were, but now an established Mytanar Takillega team. They have great pride in their team and the expanded stadium they play in now allows for more noise. They create a happy-go-lucky atmosphere inside Tyrur Lane and encourage the away fans to mingle with the home fans before and after the game outside the stadium.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are pretty centrist, but are loyal to the royal family and therefore are slightly right-leaning on both personal and economic issues.

Litala '93: A.Scuda - Robinson, Boluca, Duluth, Duff - Johnson, Nao, Demarchelier, St-Hilaire - Le Tallec, Zaporizhin.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: Well, last season they really changed from a middling side into a top side as they invested in some good talent and brought through their young goalkeeper Arni Scuda (who is looking like a future national team goalkeeper). This combination meant that they somehow won the league, although they were completely unfancied to win the league - they won it, they won their 2nd ever trophy - to go along with the 2.Takillega they won a few seasons ago. They did amazingly well last year, but have invested in some great talent in the transfer window and so, their objectives will to be to try and repeat last year's feat - and win the league once again, they are now a part of the 'Big Three', which is usually Atletik Thessia, 1896 Ebor and one other team - this year it is Litala '93, and unless 1896 Ebor win something soon - their place in the top three will be under pressure. Litala '93 may be a poor club, but they manage their financial resources well and this allows them to make some good transfers. They've done this well and they will think they have a good chance of winning the league, we think they do too - but they need this side to come together and gel, that won't happen in one season - so we think they'll finish 3rd.
Wheeling and Dealing: They made the signing of Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec, a great buy by the 93'ers, he cost them M(C)10 million from Celtic in Cotdelapoms and the Princess Beatrice Island national will ensure Litala '93 more goals this season. Luc Demarchelier was coming to the end of his contract at Parr City, and would have been able to leave for free this transfer window - but Litala '93 wanted to make sure that they got him and so spent M(C)3 million bringing him to Wyan Road, Parr City bit the Litala manager Lukas Boronin's proverbial hand-off at being offered some money for the player and so the deal was done after Demarchelier agreed personal terms with the Champions.

Trophies Won: 1x Mytanar Takillega, 1x 2.Takillega.
Fans: They have good support, their stadium is tight and compact - fans close to the pitch and the players can hear them very easily. Fans of either team at Wyan Road normally fight or at least hurl abuse and missiles at each other - with the three ways to get into the away stand being alleys through houses - the Litala fans normally live in these houses and can lob stuff at the away fans from their back-garden and away fans normally trying to do damage to the houses around there. The fans are quite loud and violent, they have a big following.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They're from Esca, Litala is a district of the capital city - and people from that area are generally centrist on social issues and capitalist about economics - they see the bright lights of the big city regularly and see rich foreigners visiting the city too. They are from the poorest area of the city though and so are sometimes jealous of these rich visitors.

Miago City: Sayer - Danilo, Cohleb, Hucar, van Senisnen - Sundstrom, Villemure, Burgess, Sanderskye - Filo, Bakken.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: Well, they won the league the season before last. So, two seasons ago - but didn't return with the same form last season, still, they have a good team - and have added to it, although they have lost one of their best players. Anyway, last season they finished 5th, so at least they got into international competitions. This season, they'll be aiming to burst back into the 'Big Three', but they'll have to allow their new players to gel together first before that happens - so we think that may be a bit too big a hope for them, still, they could have a long run in the Trophie del Nakional - and they could finish a bit higher than we predict they will - but, we think they'll only manage to finish around 4th - good enough for international competitions, but still chasing the top three in the Mytanar Takillega.
Wheeling and Dealing: Well, they lost Mytanar under-21 starlet Tomas Sivoli to a big-bucks bid from the Polar Islandstates, and title-chasing SK Franz Josef City - who haven't won the league for a few seasons now. This was for a cool M(C)15 million, a fee they will be pleased with - they brought in Marcel Sanderskye from the Polar Islandstates to replace him, the 23-year old attacking midfielder made it an almost like-for-like change right there. They splashed M(C)14 million on bringing Sanderskye away from the Jan Mayen Islanders. They also brought in Felix Burgess on a free transfer, he has played for a whole host of sides in Queer Poco el Mono Ara and has played for Palacios and Rodallega at the highest level - so he is a good pick-up, especially on a free. Alaistair Reid also left for one last 'hurrah' in Virabia, he moved for free - but, apparently his contract is quite high in the money areas - whilst being quite low in the years on his contract, he is 31 after all - he's moved to the Vonghurst Capitols.
Rivalries: Decraa United (The Central Derby).

Fans: They have a huge following which has only grown down the years, they are situated in one of the biggest cities in Mytannion. Most of the talk in the city during the week revolves around football, they love the sport and the team. Their hardcore go to every game home or away, they have possibly the joint-best away following (with 1896 Ebor and Atletik Thessia), they have fans who love them - they make a lot of noise, love the club and follow them through thick and thin.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are located in one of the most industrial cities in Mytannion where a whole lot of factory work is done, they therefore have a large far-left following. They tend to be far-left on economic issues and hard on some social issues, hardline Marxists.

Olympic Thessia: Peterson - Pitka, Oberhauser, Gower, Sanchez-O'Higgins - Rodrigo, Dikuta, Gunnarsson, Bachiondo - Pedretti, von Haxelburg.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: Last season they performed above and beyond expectations, finishing in 4th in the Mytanar Takillega - a good position for them, a side who were just hoping for a mid-table finish - but instead they qualified for international competitions. They went to the Globe Cup, but didn't perform too well, but just being there is enough for them. Their objectives will once again be to establish themselves in the league - but, we think they can do so much better than that - they have the players and the resources now to finish higher than that in the league. If they don't, then they will not be justifying their team and the support that their gans give them. Anyway, we think they'll finish 5th and once again get into the international competitions. They could also have a nice run in the Trophie del Nakional - which they could even win with a bit of luck.
Wheeling and Dealing: With Hans Achen, the 35-year old goalkeeper retiring this season - Olympic needed a replacement for him. They brought in Virabian youngster, Grant Peterson in from Portsham City - for a hefty M(C)14 million. They also brought in another youngster, Iban Bachiondo from Echegoyan FC for a good M(C)9 million - a bargain buy we think, as the winger looks like a good enough player.
Rivalries: Atletik Thessia (Zenit Toranj Derby), Thessia '23 (Workers' Derby).
Trophies Won: None.
Fans: They have a small stadium, but that doesn't stop them from having a massive amount of fans. They have a large local following and fill out the 2000 capacity Kaunostadion out every week. They are very loud too, making a whole lot more noise than 2000 people should do. Their song 'O Kaunos' deals with a young fans life and how it should be lived and they have gotten a nickname because of this song - the song is belted out every game and rouses the fans and players into the zone for every game.

Olympik of Stratenberg: Dobby - Schnell, Denizen, Richardson - Sheridan, B.Scuda, Rybak, Utca - Nevorihn, Klimy, Castonguay.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They finished 8th last season, escaping relegation brilliantly - they will be extremely pleased with that - the board just want to keep the side in the Mytanar Takillega, and if they can - they can reap the monetary rewards that they can get from staying in the top-flight. They will be hoping just to stay in the league once again, the board like what Haberhorm is doing as the manager - and they will not be bothered if they go down as they have a good side and will probably come straight back up. But, they will prefer to stay up and continue to get the sponsorship and television money that this league provides and the revenue it gives any team - no matter what standing or reputation they have. We think that they will finish 12th though, we think they'll seriously underperform and their dream will be over - so they will be relegated.
Wheeling and Dealing: They sold the 20-year old striker, Andrey Csekov to East Kent Professional in Civil Citizenry for a reported M(C)17 million. So, they brought in Mirek Klimy in from the relegated 1923 Esca - he has big talent but he struggled to perform for his old team, will he perform for Olympik? They shelled out M(C)3 million on him, not much, but they don't have too much money - so this will be a big transfer for them.
Rivalries: None.
Trophies Won: None.
Fans: They fill out their stadium every week (there are only two clubs on Magev Island, Olympik of Stratenberg and Staining Town - the latter being in the 3.Liga, so Olympik easily have more support - but population is almost halved between the two teams), they have good support and travel well - going anywhere with their team. They are loyal to the team, not the loudest - but have some funny chants and generally have a laugh about themselves quite often - with them being isolated from the rest of the nation out on Magev Island. Good, solid fans.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They were very disappointing last season, even with all the money they have - they only just avoided relegation. It shows you can't buy success, as they've spent the most on their team - than any other team in the Mytanar Takillega - M(C)92 million. They finished 9th in the table, last time around - and very narrowly avoided relegation. They've lost some of their top players though, and so may now not be able to recover from this low finish last season. They will just be aiming to improve on last season and bring the glory days of old back to the Centralstadion - the crazy away trips across Rushmore and the rest of the World. They won't do this in one season though, and after firing former manager, Famre Rezic - they've brought in a new manager - he'll have to be given time to get them success. We don't think he will get them this success though, we don't think they'll recover from their poor results last season - we think they'll finish 10th and be relegated for the first time ever.
Wheeling and Dealing: They haven't brought in anybody from abroad, but have signed promising midfielder Karel Georgiev from Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast - for M(C)3 million. They lost their influential Polarian midfielder, Luc Demarchelier though - to Litala '93 - and may fail to recover from this.
Rivalries: Dukla Nastalich FK (The Windmill Derby).
Trophies Won: 1x Trophie del Nakional.
Fans: Their stadium is filled every game, with their team having a large Hureci following. They don't make as much noise as some of the other team's fans. But they go out in force, their team being one of the focusses of their week. They know their team has the money, and are vocal about it, booing the players whenever they do badly.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are far-right on all issues and are particularly racist because of their large Hureci following. Hurecs are people from Nasto and they hate the mainlanders and want Nasto to become its' own nation. They hate the other races within Mytannion, mainly the Ofraics. This is quite idiosyncratic seen as one of their legends (Benoit Visoisse - who is still playing and is only 21) is Ofraic.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: This side have had an unprecedented rise up the leagues, with three straight promotions from the 4.Liga, to the 3.Liga, to the 2.Takillega and now to Mytanar Takillega. Amazing stuff, but they have indeed been backed by the FBG (the Fargo Banking Group), and that has of course meant that they have had money pumped into their club by the owner, Mike Fargo. This has been the main reason for their rise up the leagues, last season - they finished 3rd in the 2.Takillega - but were promoted to the top-flight through the play-offs. Their objectives, will quite simply be to stay in the top-flight - they've got the monetary backing to do it, and will be expecting this at minimum of the manager - who has been given everything he could possibly want - so if they don't stay up, the blame will most certainly lay with him. We think that they will just about manage to stay up, and finish 9th, just outside the relegation zone - and just about surviving.
Wheeling and Dealing: They brought in four players, three of them were from SK Port Jarko - and these three were all midfielders - and bought for a combined total of M(C)9 million, Vozynuk, Ninkovic and Bogdanic were all brought in - meaning that the Rangers have a midfield made in Port Jarko. They also brought in Porlet Bat Kishmaner, the Citiz striker who scored so many last season completed the switch from the Rangers' local rivals, Cosmopolitan Cote-Ast for M(C)3 million.

Fans: They have a small stadium, and each stand has high fences to stop fans invading the pitch - and from attacking the away fans. The Rangers fans are either gloryhunters/defectors (from big teams, in favour of their now-'good' local side) or absolute psychopaths - the gloryhunters/defectors are usually harmless, but the psychopaths follow their team anywhere - are loud, proud and very, very violent - and renowned for causing trouble and hurting other teams' fans. These fans are a throwback to when the team was tiny and didn't have money, but was famous for causing trouble wherever they went in the league.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are fairly moderate on everything, but the psychopaths are right-wing.

Last Season, Objectives and Expectations: They finished 7th last season, a position they will be really pleased with - they finished basically mid-table - when they were just expecting to stay up, but they surpassed their objectives by quite a bit - working brilliantly as a team and really played some nice football at times. This season, their objectives will be much the same - as they haven't exactly improved the team massively, just adding similar players to it - whereas other teams certainly have improved. We don't think they've improved enough, they're going to have a very long, very hard and tough season - and we think they're going to get relegated. We think they're going to finish 11th, and go back down to the 2.Takillega, leaving only two Thessian clubs in the top-flight.
Wheeling and Dealing: They've signed Urritz Otegi from Athletic Club Rumiatzi in Astograth, for M(C)12 million - to replace the outgoing Pirees Mesa - who has moved to FC Axel Heiburg in the Polar Islandstates. Antoine Cama, the left-back has also left - to Tout-Puissant Outremont in Cotdelapoms, for a fee rumoured to be about M(C)4.2 million. They've signed young left-back, Viktor Djordic from SK Port Jarko to replace him.
Rivalries: Atletik Thessia (Thessia Derby), Olympic Thessia (Workers' Derby).

Fans: The fans of East Thessia are loyal - like all other fans of Thessian teams. They are fanatical and just want to be the best team in the city, although that would take the dethroning of Atletik Thessia - which may not happen for a long while. They would be happy to go ahead of Olympic Thessia - who are currently the 2nd best team in Thessia. They are loud and quite violent towards other local teams and so police presences are significant when there are derbies between Thessia clubs. They'd be happy to see their side escape relegation and perhaps send Olympic down in the process.
Clubs/Fans Political Leanings: They are liberal on social issues and extreme, radical communists on economic issues.

1993/1994 Season - The Kombarov Crown.

The Kombarov Crown is the game between the league champions of the last season and the winners of the Trophie del Nakional from the season before. This season, the game will be contested between Atletik Thessia - who won the Trophie del Nakional in the 1992/1993 season, and Litala '93 who won the league last season. Both clubs will be looking to win their first ever Kombarov Crown, but Atletik Thessia will be looking for their 10th every trophy, to go along with 1 Rushmore Copa de Campeones, 4 Mytanar Takillegas and 4 Trophie del Nakionals. Litala '93 will be looking for their 2nd 'proper' trophy, as they've won one Mytanar Takillega - but they've also won a 2.Takillega, which isn't one of the big trophies. It will certainly be a big game, as the two teams competing are probably the biggest two in Mytannion right now, with massive support and fan bases. With only 1896 Ebor and Miago City perhaps being able to match them, and the other Thessia clubs having good, loud support too - but not in the same numbers of fans. The game will be played at the national stadium in Esca, Stade Kombarov I - one of only two all-seater stadiums, it has a capacity of 50,000 and is one of the most modern stadiums in Mytannion, with lots of great amenities and great hospitality for players and fans alike.

Atletik Thessia: Nightingale - Grim, Baracs, Kilic, Urz - van Schorel, Hjik, Tasecchi, van Jendrisen - Bergen, Klinicki.

Atletik Thessia play at Maine Road, which is a brilliant stadium - the fans fill it week in, week out - it isn't all-seater, and the famous Kippax End is one of largest and steepest stands in Mytannion and probably in Rushmore - the fans that inhabit this end are some of the loudest and most passionate supporters in Mytannion and again, in Rushmore - they stand up all game, chant all game, have flares lit all game and follow their team anywhere. They are some of the most volatile and violent fans too, causing trouble in most places that they go, and they go in big numbers too, travelling anywhere to follow their team and the team enjoy their support, and use it as the platform to win games as the intimidating atmosphere that the fans create can almost 'frighten' teams into defeat. Atletik Thessia rely on their great midfield and strong spine, with Robin Hjik as the team captain and Mirko Tasecchi running the show in the centre of the park, Ole van Jendrisen the Polarian attacking midfielder plays almost as a third striker for them as he gets a bucketload of goals from midfield for the club. Lewis Bergen is an investment for the future and looks like a big talent for the future and is another Polarian in the side, the 19-year old had big money spent on him to bring him to Atletik. They've got a top defence too, with Sorthern World Cup winning goalkeeper Stephen Nightingale between the sticks and two good defensive players in Usa Kilic and Hannes Urz who really break up the play and are good to have at the back. They also have the only Pontinurii player in the Mytanar league in Matthijs van Schorel who is a massive talent and is a good dribbler and a good creator of goals in general, really.

The team out of the poorest district of Esca, they play at Wyan Road and that stadium is very compact. The only ways for the away fans to get into their stand is through three alleyways that go inbetween houses - sadly for them the Litala fans live in these houses and normally wait right up until kick-off for the away fans to come through so they can throw stuff at them from their back gardens, but the away fans usually try to do some damage to these houses too. The fans are loud and violent too, they chant all game at home and travel well too - with big numbers going to most away games. They have the majority of East Esca supporting their club, as that whole area is very poor and they have a big following from around this area. They're famous for lighting up flares and waving them around quite a bit, they also enjoy the sport of 'throwing things at other teams' fans', as they use small change and other things that can be found in the stadiums as weapons to throw at the away fans that arrive at the stadium. Litala '93 have a very good team, with Arni Scuda as their goalkeeper who is now the 2nd choice national team goalkeeper behind Demy de Zooijt - at the back they have the experience of Artur Boluca and the Cotdelapomais centre-back Jean Duluth, with young full-backs flanking them who can get up and down the wing all day. Isidoro Nao may be 18 and a midfielder, but he ended up as the top goalscorer in the league last season, Luc Demarchelier was picked up from Parr City for M(C)3 million and he will be the new drive and creativity in the team. Bertrand St-Hilaire is one of the most determined players you will see and he is the team captain, his never-say-die attitude and power and pace down the wing are three big weapons for this team. Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec is the Princess Beatrice Island striker who they want to bang the goals in this season.

That 10th trophy continues to evade Atletik Thessia as they once again miss out on the chance to win a trophy, Litala '93 beat them through Isidoro Nao - who started from where he left off last season, the ball was played through to him by Luc Demarchelier who made a nice through ball for him on his competitive debut - Nao just curved the ball around Stephen Nightingale in the Atletik Thessia net. The Litala '93 fans went wild and Bertrand St-Hilaire lifted the clubs second high-level trophy in a matter of about two months.

1993/1994 Season - The Trophie del Nakional.

The National Cup, the Trophie del Nakional is the biggest knockout event in Mytannion - it only includes the teams in the top division. It is a pre-season cup, and it is a way for teams to get upto top fitness whilst playing some great football and whilst having the opportunity to win a trophy. It is an extremely interesting competition, with teams playing exhibition football throughout - some of the best football of the whole season is produced in the Trophie del Nakional, and that is why it is one of the best parts of the whole Mytanar footballing season. The tournament is a fairly simple one, with the top four teams from the previous season having a bye through to the Quarter Finals - with the three promoted teams and the teams in 5th to 9th place from the previous season having to slug it out in the First Round. After this, it is straight knockout - but the teams are seeded, so the team who got promoted through the play-offs is given the #12 seeding, meaning they will always have to play the highest seed. However, the lower seed always has home advantage, until the final - which is held on a neutral site, at the national stadium. Here are the seedings:

Spionar Rangers got the shock of the round as they knocked off Miago City on penalties, eventually - Porlet Bat Kishmaner struck first for them, as he beat the defence to a cross from Jamie Firth. Firth had got down the wing brilliantly, beating Danilo for pace. The cross was inch-perfect and Bat Kishmaner just poked the ball past Will Sayer in the Miago City net. Miago City's new signing Marcel Sanderskye replied with a wonder-volley from outside the box, after the ball had been headed out from a corner, Sanderskye retreated and hit it first time into the top corner in the 87th minute. It went to extra-time and no goals were scored, so penalties were inevitable. In the end, Thomas Kistner, the 19-year old hit the winning penalty for Spionar Rangers as Miago City had one saved. Donegal Celtic also got a surprise win, as they thrashed Decraa United 3-0 - showing that their defence is as good as their attack. Hans Bakc started the scoring with a curled effort from the edge of the box, Willie O'Spyglass smashed home a free-kick and the goalscoring was rounded off with a Stephen Dempsey header. Dukla Nastalich FK kept up the streak of home sides beating the away teams - DNFK beat Thessia '23 with a Jean Francois Tanda toe-poke, the ball was played over the top of the defence for Tanda to run onto and the Cotdelapomais-Mytanar striker just poked it home for a DNFK win. Parr City beat Olympik of Stratenberg, meaning that not one away team won a game in the First Round - Jean-Pierre Gagnon, the Sorthern midfielder struck from long range to win the game.

Litala '93 eased past Spionar Rangers, after extra time anyway. Spionar Rangers once again got the first goal in the game, Porlet Bat Kishmaner heading home from a corner. Isidoro Nao replied around the hour mark with a curled free-kick, meaning he has now got 2 goals in 2 games - as he scored in the Kombarov Crown against Atletik Thessia, too. The game stayed like this though, and so, the game went to extra time - and in the 115th minute, Litala '93 capitalised on the tiredness of the Spionar Rangers players, and Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec got his first ever goal for Litala '93 as he headed in a good cross from Luc Demarchelier. Atletik Thessia were surprised by the upstarts of Donegal Celtic, who charged into a 2-0 lead through two Sakari Eronen goals, a header and a volley from the 6-yard box. Lewis Bergen hit back for Atletik Thessia with a burst away from the defence, before rounding the Celtic goalkeeper. The winner came through Hans Bakc, who smashed one past Stephen Nightingale from close-range after a goal-line scramble. 1896 Ebor thrashed DNFK, Jason Campbell managing a headed hattrick - and what is more amazing, all three headers came from corners - and all came before half-time. Vladimir Golubev rounded off the goalscoring in the 56th minute with a free-kick from the edge of the box. A 7-goal thriller came from the Centralstadion, Parr City went ahead through Seán Ó Murchú, who lobbed Grant Peterson from the edge of the 18-yard box. Olympic Thessia answered through Filip Pedretti, who then scored again, putting them ahead. Parr City once again answered with Gagnon striking from the penalty spot, after Lulykin was fouled inside the box. Gagnon scored a third, to put Parr City 3-2 up, he twisted and turned his way through the Olympic Thessia defence and then slotted home. Filip Pedretti got his hattrick in the 83rd minute though, with a long-range smash, he then got a fourth in the 94th minute, as he rose above the defenders to head home past Jens Rugic and win the game for them, to put them through to the semi-finals.

Olympic Thessia 0-2 1896 Ebor

Donegal Celtic completed the dream as they got to the final, they beat Litala '93 3-1 after extra time. They went up 1-0 in normal time, thanks to a Stephen Dempsey diving header. Litala '93 pulled it back to 1-1 as Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec drove one low and hard past Eirik Grimmson in the Celtic net. In extra time, Sakari Eronen floated a cross in from a free-kick, but the ball evaded everybody and went into the net, putting Celtic 2-1 up. Willie O'Spyglass rounded off the scoring with the winner, as he burst onto a ball inside the box and smashed it home and then proceeded to jump into the crowd at O'Donnell Park and celebrate with the fans. 1896 Ebor eased past Olympic Thessia through another two goals from Jason Campbell, as he dribbled through the defence and then struck one low through Grant Peterson's legs. Campbell then headed one home in the 63rd minute to win the game for 1896 Ebor and send them to the Trophie del Nakional final.

1896 Ebor 3-1 Donegal Celtic

1896 Ebor won their first big trophy, as they easily beat Donegal Celtic in the end - in what is a derby game - the Blizzard Derby didn't quite live upto it's snowy name, but, the skill showed was certainly brilliant. Although they did go behind, as Ametz Soraiz, the Astograthian defensive midfielder drove one home from 20+ yards. 1896 Ebor answered through their talismanic striker Jason Campbell who headed one over Eirik Grimmson who was slightly off his line on the free-kick. Vladimir Golubev put them ahead with a free-kick, and Ludvik Vanbetoven put the game beyond all doubt with a toe-poke over Grimmson's head (so a chipped toe-poke, I suppose), to win it. The game was a derby, but it was played in good spirit both on and off the field as there was no fan trouble and no scuffles on the pitch either. Mika Vertinov perhaps saved his job with the Trophie del Nakional win, and the 1896 Ebor team and fans will be hoping this form continues into the season so they can perhaps, win their first ever league title too - and stop Litala '93 from retaining their title, and Atletik Thessia from getting that magic 10th trophy.

Atletik Thessia started the new Mytanar Takillega season with intent as they thrashed Olympik of Stratenberg 8-0, Lijenost Klinicki managed a hattrick, backed-up by Polarian new-boy, Lewis Bergen - who got two of his own. Robin Hjik scored an early contender for goal of the season, and Ole van Jendrisen and Mirko Tasecchi each got one late goal to compound Stratenberg's terrible first game of the season. This thrashing immediately sent Atletik top. 1896 Ebor won 2-1 in a close match against Thessia '23 - Ludvik Vanbetoven and Vladimir Golubev grabbing one goal each - but a late reply from Yannis Petterson made things nervy for the Tangerine Army in the last few minutes. The champions, Litala '93 were surprised by the struggling Parr City - Seán Ó Murchú continuing to score even as he gets older - he won the game for them. Miago City started brilliantly, beating Spionar Rangers 4-0, giving the side who has risen up to the Mytanar Takillega in 4 seasons a real baptism of fire. Marcel Sanderskye scored 2 goals for Miago on his league debut, with a Pol Sundstrom free-kick and a Miroslav Filo header rounding off the goalscoring. Celtic won away at Decraa United thanks to Stephen Dempsey, and Olympic Thessia narrowly beat DNFK through a Filip Pedretti strike. Atletik lead the table after matchday one, followed by Miago City and 1896 Ebor are in third. Currently bottom are Olympik of Stratenberg, with Spionar Rangers and DNFK being the other two sides in the relegation zone.

Atletik Thessia won the first Thessia Derby of the season, Robin Hjik led his side well - scoring the first two to put them into a 2-goal lead. Yannis Petterson hit back with a towering header, but the revival wasn't to be as Klinicki and Tasecchi got one each to further the lead and give Atletik the victory away from home. Parr City and Olympik of Stratenberg played out a great game at Centralstadion, Gagnon and Georgiev put Parr into a 2-0 lead - but Stratenberg somehow fought back with Nyar Utca getting the first and then Claude Castonguay winning it with a massive header. This earned Olympik their first point of the season. 1896 Ebor thrashed Spionar Rangers 4-1, with Jason Campbell getting a double - added to by the hot prospect, Tomas Schuttler's tap-in and Vladimir Golubev's volley. Porlet Bat Kishmaner got a late consolation goal for Spionar Rangers. Litala '93 got their first win of the season over Donegal Celtic - but the home side struck first, Stephen Dempsey getting his second goal in as many games - but Le Tallec got one back for Litala '93 and then the winner was found in the 94th minute by Isidoro Nao that meant they would take the 3 points all the way back to Esca. Miago City thrashed DNFK away from home, Felix Burgess - the player who hails from Palacios and Rodallega - drove in a 25-yard strike, with Sanderskye and Filo completing the scoring. Olympic Thessia and Decraa United played out a 0-0 bore draw at the Kaunostadion. Atletik Thessia head up the table, with Miago City and 1896 Ebor also both having 100% records. Thessia '23, DNFK and Spionar Rangers are all still searching for their first point of the season and are all in the relegation zone.

Atletik Thessia lost their 100% record as they played out an 8-goal draw against Parr City. Lewis Bergen scored first, but his goal was cancelled out by Lulykin's diving header. Ole van Jendrisen then got two in quick succession, but Georgiev and Gagnon had different ideas as Georgiev volleyed home from 18-yards and Gagnon curled an effort in from a free-kick. Parr City won a penalty, and Gagnon duly obliged with the chance as he slotted home calmly. Matthijs van Schorel, the Pontinurii national team captain smashed one in from the edge of the 6-yard box after a scramble in the box - and this was enough for Atletik to at least take a point away from the game. Thessia '23 got their first points of the season as they beat fellow strugglers Spionar Rangers 2-1 at Koblar Lane. Yannis Petterson and Edgar Nonno got the goals there, with Porlet Bat Kishmaner getting his second goal of the season late on. Olympik of Stratenberg and Donegal Celtic played what will probably be game of the season at Waldhof Stadium in Stratenberg. Celtic stormed into a 2-0 lead thanks to Sakari Eronen and Hans Bakc, but after 20 minutes it was 3-2, as Olympik fought back with two goals from Claude Castonguay and a header from Luka Nevorihn. They went further ahead as Nyar Utca chipped in with a goal, but Celtic drew level again before half-time as Willie O'Spyglass led as a captain should and got two goals to bring them back into the game. 4-4 at half-time, Celtic would have their hearts broken though as Olympik ended up 7-4 winners as Nyar Utca got two more and Mirek Klimy got his first goal for the club. 1896 Ebor also lost their 100% record, to DNFK who got their first point of the season at the Oluja Stadion - 1896 struck first with Jason Campbell's header looping over the goalkeeper's head. But DNFK fought bravely and their great play was rewarded as Jean Francois Tanda smashed one in to get them their first point of the season. Litala '93 and Olympic Thessia played out a tight affair at Wyan Road, Luc Demarchelier hit one in first for Litala '93 but Olympic Thessia managed to get a draw as Josef Gunnarsson, their captain chipped Arni Scuda from the edge of the box. Miago City won in the Central Derby, to be the last team with a 100% record - Miroslav Filo hit two, but Laze v Tuhinju made the last few minutes nervy ones for the Miago City fans. Miago City are now top, with Atletik Thessia in second and 1896 Ebor third. The champions, Litala '93 sit in 6th after three games and Spionar Rangers sit bottom, still searching for their first point - the rest of the relegation zone is made-up of Decraa United and Dukla Nastalich FK.

Atletik Thessia, went back top of the table as they beat the lowly Spionar Rangers (who still haven't got a point), away from home at Stade Spion in Cote-Ast. Lewis Bergen and Robin Hjik got one goal each to put them ahead, with Porlet Bat Kishmaner scoring on the hour for Spionar Rangers. Donegal Celtic eased past Parr City with a 2-0 win, the strikers, Stephen Dempsey and Sakari Eronen grabbing a goal each there. DNFK and Thessia '23 drew 0-0 at Tyrur Lane, a nice, boring game of karela-football there. Olympic Thessia beat Olympik of Stratenberg, 4-2 in a lively game - Stratenberg went 2-0 up thanks to their captain, Nyar Utca - but Olympic Thessia came back through Josef Gunnarsson (2) and Filip Pedretti (2) - to win the game. Decraa United could be in huge trouble as they sit in the relegation zone looking reasonably forlorn after a 4-0 defeat at home to 1896 Ebor - if this bad form continues then some of their better players will certainly want to leave, they were booed off the field at the end of the game - Jason Campbell scored early to start up what would be a fine day for 1896, Ludvik Vanbetoven then showed a moment of magic as he twisted and turned and weaved his way through the United defence. Vladimir Golubev got the third with a powerful run and strike from the edge of the box, and the day was compounded by youngster Tomas Schuttler who floated a cross in but it evaded everybody and ended up in the back of the net. Miago City lost their 100% record at home to the champions, Litala '93 - who once again showed that their amazing defence can win games on its' own as it was bombarded all game but stayed tight and didn't allow anything through, and in the 75th minute - Isidoro Nao scored for them to win the game. Atletik Thessia are top with 10 points, 1896 Ebor second with the same total and Miago City third - Olympic Thessia and Litala '93 take the remaining international competition spots. The same three are in the bottom three this week, just in a different order - the excitement hey?! Dukla Nastalich FK sit 10th, Decraa United in 11th and Spionar Rangers sit bottom - still searching for a point. As an interesting note, 1923 Esca in the 2. Takillega are the only team to still hold a 100% record after 4 games in the Mytanar Takillega Football Association (or the top four - professional - leagues, to me and you!).

All the 100% records are gone now, 1923 Esca lost. It's quite sad really, but good in another way - our leagues are mighty competitive. Anyway, Atletik Thessia dropped points at home in a 1-1 draw against Donegal Celtic - who actually went ahead thanks to Stephen Dempsey, but Atletik answered brilliantly with Lijenost Klinicki firing a shot in from the edge of the box. 1896 Ebor capitalised on Atletik dropping points, as they beat the champions Litala '93 3-0 at the Oluja Stadion - Campbell's hattrick earning them the victory there and putting them top of the league and really looking like a side in top, top-form. DNFK got their first win of the season over Spionar Rangers - who still haven't got a point, wow. DNFK had Jean Francois Tanda to thank for three of their goals, with Spionar Rangers getting one back just after half-time, thanks once again to... no surprise, Porlet Bat Kishmaner - but DNFK got another through Paskal Kasun to compound Spionar Rangers' misery and woes. Parr City beat Olympic Thessia 1-0 at the Centralstadion, thanks to Karel Georgiev's long range effort. Decraa United has Laze v Tuhinju once again to thank for their first win of the season, his towering header meant that they took away all three points from Thessia '23 at Koblar Lane. Olympik of Stratenberg once again had Captain Fantastic, Nyar Utca to thank for the point they got at home to Miago City - Miago raced into a 2-0 lead thanks to Miroslav Filo's two goals, but Nyar Utca then scored two of his own to earn his side a point there. 1896 Ebor top the league, with a two point advantage over Atletik Thessia - Atletik sit in second, Miago City are third. Spionar Rangers are starting to look like they're in real trouble, as they don't have a point yet - with Decraa United and Thessia '23 in the other two relegation berths. Atletik Thessia thrashed DNFK away from home, although the home side did have a 2-0 lead at one point thanks to a Jean-Francois Tanda double, but Matthijs van Schorel cancelled it out with two of his own - a free-kick and a volley from the edge of the box. Robin Hjik, added another with a penalty. Lewis Bergen, proved his worth - with a quick-fire double and Mirko Tasecchi rounded-off the scoring with a nice, curled effort from around 25-yards. Donegal Celtic beat Olympic Thessia 1-0 thanks to Hans Bakc, Decraa United beat Spionar Rangers 4-2, Laze v Tuhinju getting two and Premysl Pechachek and Danny Clarke getting one each, too. Porlet Bat Kishmaner did score two late goals, and for a moment it looked like an amazing comeback was on - but it wasn't to be, apparently. Miago City and Parr City thought it would be enjoyable for us to watch a game of karela, and Litala '93 and Thessia '23 somehow cancelled each other out in a 1-1 draw, goals from Isidoro Nao and Edgar Nonno. Jason Campbell scored two for 1896 Ebor in their win over Olympik of Stratenberg - with Luka Nevorihn getting the goal for the away side. 1896 Ebor remained top with that win, Atletik still sitting second - Miago City are still third, too. Donegal Celtic are somehow 4th and perhaps even more surprisingly, Parr City are 5th. The champions, Litala '93 languish in 7th. Spionar Rangers are still searching for a point, but their search now seems a bit futile, with DNFK and Olympik of Stratenberg in the other relegation spots, in that order.

Atletik Thessia lost today, in the Zenit Toranj Derby, at home - the players were booed off the pitch. It was their first loss of the season. Olympic Thessia ran away with in, Filip Pedretti got a hattrick, Josef Gunnarsson got one and Tomislav Dikuta also got one. Matthijs van Schorel got Atletik a consolation goal late-on. Decraa United won against DNFK - Laze v Tuhinju heading home. Donegal Celtic and Miago City drew 1-1 at O'Donnell Park, Stephen Dempsey struck for Celtic - but his goal wasn't enough as Miroslav Filo got Miago City a point late-on in the game. Spionar Rangers got their first points and first win of the season, but that wasn't the major surprise - it was the team they got the win against. They beat Litala '93, the champions, 3-1! Porlet Bat Kishmaner got a hattrick, with Isidoro Nao getting one back for the champions - that is a real surprising result. 1896 Ebor capitalised on Atletik losing, as they beat Parr City 5-3 away from home, Jason Campbell got two, Raimundo Olivar got two and Ludvik Vanbetoven scored a penalty to round-off the goalscoring for 1896 Ebor. Of course, Parr City scored goals in between the 1896 Ebor goals, Ó Murchú scored two and Jean-Pierre Gagnon scored a screamer. Thessia '23 and Olympik of Stratenberg drew 1-1, Edgar Nonno crossed in for Yannis Petterson to nod home for Thessia '23 - Claude Castonguay scored for Stratenberg. 1896 Ebor are now on 19 points, top of the league and 5 points ahead of Atletik Thessia who are in second. Miago City are third on 12 points - with Olympic Thessia and Donegal Celtic in the other international competitions spots. Olympik of Stratenberg, DNFK and Spionar Rangers are still the three occupying the relegation zone.

Decraa United had Laze v Tuhinju to thank for beating Atletik Thessia, as his double meant they came away with an important three points. Robin Hjik had scored early for Atletik, but v Tuhinju's double was enough for United to win it. Olympic Thessia cruised past Miago City, Filip Pedretti was at-hand to score two for them to win them the game. Litala '93 won an important game over DNFK - Isidoro Nao's brilliant double cancelling out Jean-Francois Tanda's early breakaway goal. 1896 Ebor thrashed Donegal Celtic 8-2 at home - it was the Blizzard Derby, too, Campbell's 15-minute hattrick started the game well for them, but Sakari Eronen and Hans Bakc hit back for Celtic. Ludvik Vanbetoven's double put 1896 Ebor back ahead - and Raimundo Olivar, Vladimir Golubev and Tomas Schuttler all got goals to round-off what was a brilliant victory. Olympik of Stratenberg furthered their hopes of survival after beating relegation rivals Spionar Rangers, as the captain Nyar Utca got his 9th and then 10th goals of the season to win the game for Stratenberg. Thessia '23 and Parr City played out a 0-0 bore-draw at Koblar Lane. 1896 Ebor are top, with an 8-point lead over 2nd-placed Atletik Thessia and Olympic Thessia (who are 3rd on goal difference), Decraa United sit 4th and Miago City are in 5th. Litala '93 are starting to revive a bit, and are now back upto 6th. Ooh, excitement! We have a new team in the relegation zone, Thessia '23, DNFK and Spionar Rangers are now the three that could be going down to the 2. Takillega.

Miago City compounded Atletik's recent horrible run of form as they beat them 2-1 away from home, Lijenost Klinicki did open the scoring for the Citizens, but Miago weren't content to just lose this game - Marcel Sanderskye drew them levela and then Miroslav Filo won the game for them in the 85th minute. Litala '93 stormed to victory over Decraa United - Isidoro Nao got two goals inside the first ten minutes, but nothing else came after that. Olympic Thessia eased past 1896 Ebor, Filip Pedretti's header and free-kick enough for them to beat the team that are so easily leading the league. DNFK and Olympik of Stratenberg drew 3-3, DNFK scored first through Tanda, but Olympik answered with Castonguay. DNFK went back ahead as Paskal Kasun smashed one in from the edge of the box. Nyar Utca scored two to put Stratenberg back ahead, but Jean-Francois Tanda drew DNFK level very late in the game, in the 95th minute - in fact. Donegal Celtic had Stephen Dempsey to thank for their win over Thessia '23, his volley looped over Howard Clarke's head in the Thessia '23 net. Parr City beat Spionar Rangers away from home, with Magnusson and Lulykin getting a goal apiece there. 1896 Ebor sit top, now only five points ahead of the good outfit of Olympic Thessia. Miago City continue to trundle forwards, with 15 points. Atletik are 4th, and can't seem to do anything right - with two losses on the trot. Litala '93 continue to revive, now 5th - and seem to be pushing onwards again. The same three occupy the bottom three, Thessia '23, DNFK and Spionar Rangers.

Atletik Thessia stopped Litala '93 from continuing their charge back up the table. Whilst also stopping their slide. They beat them 3-1, Klinicki, van Jendrisen and Tasecchi getting one each before Isidoro Nao's late goal. 1896 Ebor and Miago City drew 0-0, it was a good game, actually - but, neither team could score and their profligacy meant no goals were scored in the game. Decraa United beat Olympik of Stratenberg 2-1, Laze v Tuhinju nodded one home and Pechachek added another. With Nyar Utca adding another goal to his nice tally of goals thus far. Olympic Thessia charged ever-closer to 1896 Ebor at the top - and are now only 3 points behind them. They beat local rivals Thessia '23 in the Workers' Derby, with Pedretti's double putting them ahead. It was pegged back by Yannis Petterson's strike, but Josef Gunnarsson regained the 2-goal lead with a powerful effort from 25-yards. DNFK won the first Windmill Derby game of the season against Parr City, with Jean-Francois Tanda scoring on the counter-attack. Donegal Celtic thrashed Spionar Rangers 6-1 away from home, Stephen Dempsey went on a goalscoring riot - scoring 6 goals in one game (which we think is a record for goals scored by a single player in a game), with Jamie Firth getting the sole Spionar Rangers' goal. 1896 Ebor lead the league table after 10 games, by three points - ahead of Olympic Thessia, who have shown how good and how well organised they are this season. Atletik Thessia and Donegal Celtic are both on 17 points, but Atletik have better goal difference and so sit third. They'll be hoping to push on and catch up with the top two, so they can get into the TakilQuip Champions' Cup again - Donegal Celtic have been this season's surprise package and sit fourth. Miago City have got to learn how to gel as a team this season, as they have a couple of new players - and they certainly have as they've performed well in some high-profile games and sit 5th. Decraa United recovered from their terrible early-season form and now sit 6th, and the current Champions, Litala '93 are languishing down in 7th - they will really be hoping to change that in the last 12 games of the season. Parr City will be pleased with their position, 8th - and Olympik of Stratenberg sit 9th, and this season, the relegation battle could be spectacular - with all the teams still having a good chance of staying up. The bottom three are made up of DNFK, Thessia '23 and Spionar Rangers - Thessia '23 have only won one game all season, but have drawn four. Spionar Rangers have only won one game all season, and that's their only points of the season - they'll be hoping to improve this.

Atletik Thessia got a vital 3 points at home to 1896 Ebor, Klinicki started the goalscoring with a header - he hung in the air for ages before nodding the ball home, he leapt like a salmon... erm, yeah, enough with the clichés. Anyway, Lewis Bergen got a goal late on in the game to secure the three points and this meant that Atletik could move back closer to the top of the league. Litala '93 thrashed Olympik of Stratenberg, Isidoro Nao scored two in the first twenty minutes - he volleyed one from around 25-yards which rocketed into the net, and then a cheeky tap-in inside the 6-yard box. Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec added two of his own too, as he used his tall frame to great advantage - making it 3-0 on the hour through a powerful header, and then making it four, ten minutes later as he brought the ball down on the turn, holding defenders off - ran through on goal and then smashing one home. Miago City easily beat Thessia '23 and it truly is looking more and more likely that we will only have two Thessia clubs in the Mytanar Takillega next season as Thessia '23 sit 11th, inside the relegation zone with only 7 points. Marcel Sanderskye scored two in the first half, smashing a goal in inside the box as the ball bobbled around a bit. He then added another as he nodded home at the near post off a free-kick. Miroslav Filo added a third late on as he sprinted clear of the defence, avoided the offside trap and then powered one into the bottom corner. Olympic Thessia and Spionar Rangers somehow cancelled each other out, as Olympic Thessia failed to capitalise on 1896 Ebor losing against their local neighbours Atletik Thessia. Filip Pedretti put them ahead, but Porlet Bat Kishmaner cancelled this out. DNFK and Celtic drew 0-0 at Tyrur Lane, a result which was probably fair in a very close game. 1896 Ebor remain top after Olympic Thessia only managed to draw against Spionar Rangers, but they're only top by 2 points, now. Atletik Thessia are 3rd now, three points behind 1896 Ebor, with the Midlands rivals Miago City and Decraa United sitting in the other international competition spots. Olympik of Stratenberg, Thessia '23 and Spionar Rangers sit in the relegation zone, Spionar Rangers only have four points and probably have little to no hope of staying up now.

Olympik of Stratenberg scored first through Nyar Utca, but Atletik turned it around quickly through Klinicki and Bergen, who got one each before half-time. Matthijs van Schorel made it 3-1 shortly after the half-time whistle and Lijenost Klinicki added his second goal in the 73rd minute and that brought them a whole lot closer to 1896 Ebor at the top. Thessia '23 got a valuable point at home to 1896 Ebor - they even scored first through Yannis Petterson who seems to be determined to keep Thessia '23 up by himself - having scored three-quarters of their goals so far this season. 1896 Ebor struck back through Ludvik Vanbetoven, which got them a point which just about keeps them top of the table. Parr City and Litala '93 shared the points, although the away side led from the 11th minute until the 94th minute - Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec put them ahead, but in the fourth minute of injury time - Seán Ó Murchú is starting to become one of the fans' heroes as he scored a vital goal to keep them away from the relegation zone. Spionar Rangers are starting to get a few points on the board, another draw against a big club took their total upto 5! They went 2-0 up thanks to Porlet Bat Kishmaner, but Miago City battled back with a double of their own from Miroslav Filo. The honours were even there. Donegal Celtic drew another game, this time against Decraa United - and DNFK and Olympic Thessia played a ten-goal thriller out at Tyrur Lane, with DNFK up 3-0 at one point thanks to Jean-Francois Tanda (2) and Paskal Kasun (1), but Olympic Thessia battled back to 3-3 before the hour mark, with Filip Pedretti scoring a screamer, Josef Gunnarsson tapping one in and Tomislav Dikuta volleying one home. DNFK went back ahead thanks to Kasun who wove his way through the DNFK defence, but Olympic would not lie down and fought back - Filip Pedretti got his hattrick before the 80th minute, hitting two more in and Tomislav Dikuta closed the goalscoring with a lovely free-kick in the 90th minute. The fans who watched that game certainly got their money back basically, as the action seen was definitely worth however much they spent on tickets at the Tyrur Lane. 1896 Ebor are still top on goal difference, with Olympic Thessia second, only three goals behind them. Atletik are a point behind the top two, with 23 points. Miago City are 4th on 20 points, with their local rivals Decraa United sitting 5th. Olympik of Stratenberg, Thessia '23 and Spionar Rangers are in the relegation zone still.

Atletik Thessia won the Thessia Derby, 2-1 - Yannis Petterson did score first for Thessia '23, but Atletik fought back with a double from the Polarian youngster Lewis Bergen. Olympik of Stratenberg really ran Parr City close as Nyar Utca scored two for them before Parr City came back to win 3-2 with Gagnon getting two and Lulykin scored to complete an amazing comeback for the Sky Blues. 1896 Ebor thrashed Spionar Rangers though, with Jason Campbell's hattrick putting them 3-0 up before half-time, Spionar Rangers pulled one back through Porlet Bat Kishmaner, but Ludvik Vanbetoven added a fourth on the 67th minute mark as he dribbled through the Rangers defence and smashed home. Vladimir Golubev scored the fifth when he lashed home a free-kick from around 30-yards. Litala '93 smashed through Celtic, Isidoro Nao started the game well as he scored a beautiful volley from outside the box. Donegal Celtic pulled one back with Stephen Dempsey scoring a looping effort. The game changed when that goal went in though, Isidoro Nao got his second as he cut inside from the left wing and curled one in. Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec headed home from a corner to make it 3-1 just before half-time. Isidoro Nao got his hattrick on the hour mark as he showed finesse to curve a free-kick into the top corner. Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec added his second and his sides' fifth in the 84th minute as he chipped the goalkeeper after running clear of the defence. DNFK narrowly beat the side with the tightest defence so far, Miago City by putting 3 past them. Jean-Francois Tanda was the one to thank as he got yet another hattrick, Miroslav Filo and Marcel Sanderskye the goalscorers for City. Decraa United were 2-0 up until the 85th minute when Olympic Thessia scored, which made the last five minutes plus injury time nervy for the Bulls - but they edged it out, Laze v Tuhinju and Danny Clarke scored for them, with Filip Pedretti getting the goal for Olympic Thessia. 1896 Ebor lead by one point from Atletik Thessia in second place, Olympic Thessia after their loss are third - a point ahead of Decraa United who are enjoying a revival this season. Litala '93 sit in the last international competition spot, one point ahead of Miago City and two points ahead of Donegal Celtic. Olympik of Stratenberg, Thessia '23 and Spionar Rangers are in the relegation zone. DNFK moving out of the relegation zone after their win, and they're three points clear, too.

Atletik Thessia go top after their away win over Parr City, Robin Hjik got one and Matthijs van Schorel won it after Jean-Pierre Gagnon opened the scoring for Parr City. Spionar Rangers and Thessia '23 met at Stade Spion, 12th versus 11th, bottom versus second bottom. All very competitive, so a draw was probably the fairest result - but a result neither team wanted. Porlet Bat Kishmaner scored first for Rangers and Yannis Petterson hit back for the away side. Donegal Celtic had young Hans Bakc to thank for their point against Olympik of Stratenberg, as he scored in the 92nd minute to get the point after Nyar Utca had scored first in the 22nd minute for the team from the Magev Islands. 1896 Ebor were surprised by lowly Dukla Nastalich FK - who got a vital point in their fight against relegation, Jason Campbell scored first for the Tangerine Army but the stalwart Jean-Francois Tanda hit back with a brilliant effort from the edge of the box for DNFK - who are starting to look a little bit safer at the bottom, but they still only hold a three-point gap over Olympik of Stratenberg in 10th. Olympic Thessia lost out to Litala '93 as they start to slip up a bit, Litala '93 scored first with Isidoro Nao getting his 15th goal of the season. Josef Gunnarsson brought Olympic level with his penalty and Tomislav Dikuta put them ahead as he lashed one home after a powerful run into the box. Litala '93 brought themselves back level with a nice team move though, with Luc Demarchelier finished with an accurate shot into the corner of the net and Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec got his 7th goal of the season with another header to win the game for the Eastenders. Miago City won in the Central Derby over local rivals Decraa United, who went ahead thanks to Laze v Tuhinju's massive header, Pol Sundstrom pulled it back level for Miago City with a powerful effort from 30-yards. Felix Burgess, the Palacios and Rodallega international showed why he was bought with a powerful run into the box and a top-class finish. He then set up Marcel Sanderskye to make it 3-1 and send the Miago City fans into a riotous but happy mood inside the Decraa Arena. Premysl Pechachek did pull one back for Decraa United, but it was too late and was to no avail as they couldn't score another to get a draw. Atletik Thessia are now top by a point, ahead of 1896 Ebor who sit second on 28 points. A bit of a gap has opened up between them two and the rest, with Olympic Thessia in 3rd on 24 points - Litala '93 sit 4th on the same points total, though with worse goal differential than Olympic Thessia. Miago City now sit 5th in the last international competitions spot, but they're level on points with Decraa United. Olympik of Stratenberg, Thessia '23 and Spionar Rangers occupy the relegation zone.

There were no draws in the Mytanar Takillega this weekend, there have also been 295 goals scored thus far in the season. Lotsa' goals! Anyway, Atletik Thessia narrowly beat bottom side Spionar Rangers - thanks to a Lijenost Klinicki strike. Parr City edged it over Donegal Celtic, Jean-Pierre Gagnon scoring once again - smashing one in from long-range to win it in the 80th minute, not leaving much time for Celtic to reply. DNFK got a vital win in their bid for survival against Thessia '23 who were 2-0 up at one point thanks to a Yannis Petterson headed double. DNFK fought back with Jean-Francois Tanda getting one, with a nice finish, then getting another, as he rounded the goalkeeper to level it and make it 2-2, and then a third as he got yet another hattrick with a header as he was on his hands and knees in the 6-yard box after a bit of a goal-line scramble. Paskal Kasun got the fourth for DNFK. Olympic Thessia battered Olympik of Stratenberg 3-0 away from home, Filip Pedretti getting a hattrick to go top of the goalscoring charts, too. Decraa United were thanking Laze v Tuhinju profusely once again, as he scored a hattrick (that's three this weekend!), to win the game after an early Raimundo Olivar strike for 1896 Ebor. Litala '93 beat Miago City through a Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec header, which looped over Will Sayer's head in the Miago City net. Atletik Thessia now have a four-point gap at the top of the league, with 1896 Ebor sitting second on 28 points. Olympic Thessia and Litala '93 are sitting in 3rd and 4th respectively, both on 27 points and Decraa United are on 26 points in fifth. It is all very tight at the top. Donegal Celtic fans were celebrating wildly after they narrowly beat Atletik Thessia at O'Donnell Park. Sakari Eronen scoring the goal for Celtic there, after he evaded a couple of defenders and then slotted past Sorthern World Cup winning goalkeeper Stephen Nightingale. DNFK thrashed Spionar Rangers, with two goals each for Jean-Francois Tanda, Paskal Kasun and Simun Tomcic for the home side with Porlet Bat Kishmaner getting his 15th goal of the season for Rangers. Olympic Thessia and Parr City shared the spoils after Karel Georgiev's penalty cancelled out Josef Gunnarsson's earlier effort for the home side. Decraa United battered Thessia '23, with Laze v Tuhinju getting his second hattrick in as many weeks as his amazing goalscoring streak continues - Yannis Petterson did get a late consolation goal for Thessia '23 but it won't be much consolation as their future continues to look grim and bleak and continues to look like they are going to be relegated down to the 2. Takillega, which certainly isn't as good a future as they would be hoping for. Miago City and Olympik of Stratenberg shared the spoils there, with Miroslav Filo striking early for the home side and Mirek Klimy cancelling that goal out late on in the game. Litala '93 lost to 1896 Ebor - to Mytanar footballing giants clashing at Wyan Road and it certainly was not the result the home side were looking for, as they drop down to 5th after having a brilliant run over the past few weeks. Donegal Celtic dominated Olympic Thessia after Filip Pedretti's early strike for the away side, as they started to control possession and play care-free attacking play. Stephen Dempsey scored one to pull one back, then Sakari Eronen took them ahead and Hans Bakc made sure of the win with a curled free-kick. Spionar Rangers amazed everybody as they beat Decraa United 4-3, they went ahead 2-0 inside twenty minutes thanks to two Porlet Bat Kishmaner goals. Jamie Firth made it three with a long-range strike, Laze v Tuhinju scored after half-time for Decraa United to make it 3-1 and then got another to make it 3-2. Premysl Pechachek drew the teams level with a nice free-kick, but Jamie Firth won it with a free-kick of his own from the edge of the box, 4-3. Parr City and Miago City drew 1-1 with Lulykin scoring for the home side and Marcel Sanderskye the creative Polarian scoring for Miago City. Litala '93 beat Thessia '23 Isidoro Nao getting one and Le Tallec heading in the other, the latter proving to be another shrewd buy by the Litala '93 manager, Lukas Boronin. 1896 Ebor and Olympik of Stratenberg played an amazing game out at Waldhof Stadion, Nyar Utca scored 2 to put Olympik of Stratenberg ahead, Mirek Klimy then added two more to make it 4-0, and the Olympik of Stratenberg fans were going wild. When Ludvik Vanbetoven scored two before half-time to make it 4-2, they weren't even bothered, but continued celebrating. Vladimir Golubev made it 4-3 with a driven effort from the edge of the box, and that was when the Islanders' fans started to get nervy. They should have been, Raimundo Olivar levelled it then the hot prospect, Tomas Schuttler made it 5-4, and won the game for the Tangerine Army in what was an absolutely brilliant game. Atletik Thessia are still top on 35 points, 1896 Ebor are 2nd and one point behind. Litala '93 are four points back in 3rd and after Decraa United's surprise loss, they're 4th with Olympic Thessia continuing to slide and now sitting in 5th. Donegal Celtic are 6th and two points behind Olympic in the final International Competitions Spot. Olympik of Stratenberg, Thessia '23 and Spionar Rangers still occupy the relegation zone, and all three still look like they will be the ones going down at the end of the season.

Decraa United narrowly beat DNFK thanks to a Laze v Tuhinju header, and it should be noted that if DNFK can win their next game, both Thessia '23 and Spionar Rangers will be relegated. Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec, headed in a 4th meaning that he now has 10 goals for the season - a brilliant signing for Litala '93, he has contributed in the goalscoring department, certainly. 1896 Ebor and Parr City drew 0-0, 1896 Ebor not being able to capitalise on a loss by the team at the top, Atletik Thessia. Olympik of Stratenberg and Thessia '23 are both in the relegation zone, but Olympik won the game between the two thanks to a stunning strike from Nyar Utca and a Claude Castonguay header. The Islanders are only five points adrift of DNFK now, with four games left. Atletik are top on goal difference only now, 1896 Ebor are second. Litala '93 sit third on 33 points and Decraa United are 4th on 32. Olympic Thessia are in the final Globe Cup spot, with 31 points - so any of them top five could win the league with four games left. Well, this weekend certainly has been interesting. Litala '93, the champions have come up on the rail and gone top this weekend, but let's start with Atletik Thessia's loss to the dark horses Decraa United. Laze v Tuhinju put them ahead with a header, but Ole van Jendrisen pulled Atletik level with a curled effort. Decraa went back ahead thanks to Premysl Pechachek, but Ole van Jendrisen once again was not to be outdone and smashed in a volley to bring the teams level. Laze v Tuhinju was on hand in the 94th minute to tap-in after a bit of a scramble on the line and a spate of chances went begging, but v Tuhinju was the one to put the ball in the back of the net as he poked home from about 2-yards out. It was a bad day for Thessian sides as Olympic Thessia also lost with (but it was a good day for Midland's sides as Decraa United's rivals..) Miago City beating them. Miroslav Filo scored two early goals to push the Midland's side into the lead. Olympic Thessia fought back with Filip Pedretti scoring one, and Josef Gunnarsson then scoring the second to cancel out Filo's two early efforts. But Marcel Sanderskye was there to win it for Miago City as he chipped Grant Peterson as he ran in on goal, ending the game 3-2. Litala '93 thrashed DNFK 4-1, Isidoro Nao scored two early on and Jean-Francois Tanda scored one for DNFK, but Le Tallec then scored two more - all the goals before half-time, that game finished 4-1 to the away side. Donegal Celtic eased past 1896 Ebor, in a surprising win, but also in very classy fashion - the side from the north are most definitely safe after that win. Stephen Dempsey and Willie O'Spyglass the goalscorers, the latter scoring two penalties for them in the Blizzard Derby against local rivals 1896 Ebor, whose lone scorer was Ludvik Vanbetoven. Spionar Rangers and Olympik of Stratenberg drew 2-2, a result neither side could really settle for and a result that means Spionar Rangers are relegated - and that Olympik's challenge to stay up has lost a bit of momentum. Mirek Klimy scored a good double before half-time for the Islanders and Porlet Bat Kishmaner scored two of his own after half-time for Spionar Rangers. Parr City relegated Thessia '23, compounding a horrible weekend for Thessian sides - there will only be two in the Mytanar Takillega next season unless Thessia FC get promoted from the 2. Takillega (which looks unlikely as they sit 17th in that division, currently), the goalscorer was Jean-Pierre Gagnon for Parr City who now are safe for another season themselves, too. Litala '93 are now top, and could retain their title, on 36 points - Atletik are second on 35 points and 1896 Ebor are third on the same total. 4th are surprise package Decraa United who are also on the same total. It is now a four-horse race for the title, certainly. Olympic Thessia sit in the final Globe Cup spot on 31 points and are being chased by Donegal Celtic who are one point behind. Olympik of Stratenberg are four points behind DNFK, the last relegation spot is between them now. Nyar Utca is doing everything he can to save the Islanders - but will he? Is quite simply the question. You can't have a one-man team at this level. Spionar Rangers are now 11th, the highest they've been all season - I think, but are relegated - along with Thessia '23, who are bottom and have really underperformed this season.

Atletik Thessia got an important 3 points in the title race as they battered Miago City 7-0, Lijenost Klinicki got a couple, as did Ole van Jendrisen, and Lewis Bergen, Robin Hjik and Mirko Tasecchi got one goal each to win the game there. Decraa United eased past Litala '93 to further improve their chances of a title there. Laze v Tuhinju headed home to win it there. Olympic Thessia beat 1896 Ebor and really hindered the home sides' chances of a title, Filip Pedretti scored a curling effort in the snow and wind there - Josef Gunnarsson blasted home a free-kick to make it 2-0, and the 1896 Ebor fans really caused some trouble in their own stadium as they through bricks and flares at the away fans in their section and damaged some of the stand there. The two sets of fans apparently met outside the stadium after that, and a mass brawl ensued with mounted police having to get involved to stop the violence as innocent bystanders were harmed and shops around the area were also damaged as the fans fought. DNFK beat Olympik of Stratenberg and relegated the home side with their win. Jean-Francois Tanda scored two before half-time and Mirek Klimy scored one for the Islanders but in the end it wasn't enough and Olympik of Stratenberg fans were crying in the stands as their three-year stay in top-flight ended and they weren't really a team that people thought would go down with only a few pundits (i.e. me!), saying they'd go down - but it is bad luck for them, certainly. Donegal Celtic beat Thessia '23 1-0, with Stephen Dempsey sprinting clear of the defence and slotting home in the 43rd minute. Parr City and Spionar Rangers drew 1-1, with Karel Georgiev smashing one in early on, only for his effort to be cancelled out by Jamie Firth - who got his 4th goal of the season, with that effort. Litala '93 sit 3rd, the champions are still in with a huge shout of winning the league though, only 2 points behind the top two - a win and a loss for both of them, would send them top. 1896 Ebor are 4th on 35 points, they're in a similar situation to Litala '93, just with one less point. Even Olympic Thessia in 5th could win the league, they're on 34 points and occupy the last Globe Cup spot, but could still win the league, easily. Donegal Celtic have a mathematical chance of winning the league, but them actually achieving that is very unlikely. They will be hoping to edge into the International Competition Spots by the end of the season though, they have two games to do it and they very easily could do it. One-time champions, Miago City sit 7th and will now just look to consolidate their position as they can't really go anywhere now. That is the same for Parr City in 8th. DNFK are now safe from relegation, so will be hoping to move up the table slightly. Olympik of Stratenberg, Spionar Rangers and Thessia '23 are all relegated. 1993/1994 Season - Part 3 of 3.

Well, it has finally been decided that the Mytanar Takillega will be expanded to 14 teams next season. The three teams in the relegation spots will still be demoted to the 2. Takillega - but five teams will be promoted to the Mytanar Takillega this season. Then next season it will return to three teams being relegated to the 2. Takillega and three teams being promoted. This is apparently going to add to the competitivity of the league and I agree with that to be honest, 12 teams means that it is only the elite, but it also means that a team can be going towards international competitions, but also be involved in the relegation battle - which isn't right, really. So this will mean from next season, which will be the 1994/1995 season - there will be 14 teams in the Mytanar Takillega, 16 teams in the 2. Takillega and then 20 teams in both the 3. Liga and the 4. Liga.. Anyway, let's get onto the action:

Well it really is tight up at the top but one thing is for certain - nothing is decided yet, three teams could still win the league going into the last day, any of the top five could end up in any competition - it really is going to be interesting. Anyway, Litala '93 beat Atletik Thessia in a game which could decide the destination of the title - Isidoro Nao opened the scoring for the away team, he bended a shot into the top corner and sent the travelling fans at Maine Road wild as he celebrated in front of them in the South Stand, a couple of purple-and-white clad fans jumped onto the pitch and celebrated with them. Lewis Bergen got his 14th goal of the season in reply for Atletik Thessia - he ran clear of the defence and slotted home calmly. Florent-Roparzh Le Tallec was on hand to put Litala '93 back ahead though, as he knocked the ball between Kilic and Baracs, ran through and smashed it in. Litala '93 made the cross-country trip back to Esca happy. 1896 Ebor fans also had a long trip to make to get home after their loss against Miago City - Ludvik Vanbetoven scored two to put 1896 2-0 and flying high, the fans going wild at Miago Park - but Miago came back, Miroslav Filo scored one - and Marcel Sanderskye hit a long-range strike to draw them level. Pol Sundstrom added the third fairly quickly after that, rifling a shot in from 30+ yards. Miroslav Filo got his second of the game and the fourth for Miago City to round off the goalscoring. Olympik of Stratenberg surprised Decraa United at the Decraa Arena. Laze v Tuhinju started the goalscoring with a big header, Nyar Utca drew the teams level with an absolute rocket of a strike. Mirek Klimy made it 2-1, as he headed home his 8th goal of the season. Decraa brought it level through Danny Clarke's charge and shot in the 30th minute. Premysl Pechachek then put them ahead just before half-time with a free-kick that curled and curled into the top corner. Mirek Klimy made it 3-3 shortly after half-time with a nice shot from the edge of the box. Claude Castonguay put the Islanders ahead with a slide and tap-in in the 74th minute and Mirek Klimy got his hattrick with a shot with the outside of the foot which slammed into the top corner. Olympic Thessia and Thessia '23 drew 1-1 in the Workers' Derby, Filip Pedretti knocked in his 26th goal of the season and Thessia '23 answered through their talisman Yannis Petterson who will make a good buy for one of the five teams coming upto the Mytanar Takillega as he has scored 11 goals this season. DNFK won in the Windmill Derby against Parr City, with Jean-Francois Tanda scoring a neat double before Jean-Pierre Gagnon - another player with a francophone name - scored one for Parr City. Spionar Rangers beat Donegal Celtic away from home, which was certainly a surprise - Porlet Bat Kishmaner (whose actual name is Powell Kingston, apparently we've been telling you the wrong thing for two years), got two and Jamie Firth got one to win that game.

So, nothing is decided at the top - but it is all decided at the bottom. Olympik of Stratenberg, Spionar Rangers and Thessia '23 will be the teams going down this season. DNFK sit 9th and can't really do anything but try and finish a single place higher, Parr City can't go anywhere from where they are - apart from a single place down, so they'll just be trying not to lose. Miago City could go into the Globe Cup spots, but it'd take a massive overturn in goal difference for that to happen - so they'll just be consolidating their position. Donegal Celtic could also end up in a Globe Cup spot, but they'd need to win. 1896 Ebor, can't win the league now - but could end up in the TQCC spots with a bit of luck, but that's unlikely now. It's the same situation for Olympic Thessia, so they'll probably just try and stay ahead of 1896 Ebor and have a better Globe Cup qualifying spot. Decraa United were this season's surprise package and could still win the league going into the last day, but they'll just be proud of their efforts really. Atletik Thessia want to win the league more than anything and are in a good position to do it, but they'll need Litala '93 to lose after their loss to the top side today. Litala '93 are in pole position to retain their title, they're a point ahead of the nearest competition and have a great chance of winning their title back.

1896 Ebor broke Atletik fans' hearts, as they beat them at home and stopped them from winning the league, a trophyless season for the giants at Atletik. Jason Campbell and Ludvik Vanbetoven struck early to put 1896 into a 2-0 lead before the 20 minute mark. Robin Hjik hit back for Atletik but this wasn't enough to spark a comeback and 1896 beat them. Litala '93 won the league as they beat Olympik of Stratenberg, Isidoro Nao hit two to take this tally for the season to 24 and he really has turned into a fan favourite now - he could easily be a club legend and go down with the names of past greats like Brynjar Gudmundsson and Dimitri Loskov. Miago City eased past bottom side Thessia '23, with Marcel Sanderskye really impressing - the Polarian getting a hattrick there. Parr City and Decraa United drew 1-1 at the Centralstadion, Karel Georgiev struck first for the Skyblues and Danny Clarke's volley cancelled out that earlier effort perfectly. Spionar Rangers thrashed Olympic Thessia at home, Porlet Bat Kishmaner (or Powell Kingston, as he is known), scored two with Jamie Firth backing him up with a powerful effort once again. Olympic's goal came through their talisman Filip Pedretti. Donegal Celtic had Stephen Dempsey to thank for their win over DNFK, which meant that they will now be going to the Globe Cup for the first time ever.

Litala '93 won their second title, and they've won two in a row now - will they start to put together a bit of domination of the Mytanar Takillega over the next few seasons? Decraa United have surprised everybody by qualifying for the TQCC and the Rushmore Copa de Campeones. Atletik Thessia are in massive trouble, well, they aren't - but their manager is. If he doesn't win a trophy next season, he'll be gone - no doubt. One trophy in three seasons is no good as the manager of Atletik Thessia. 1896 Ebor are fourth, they'll be okay with that seen as they won the Trophie del Nakional earlier in the season - but they'll want more success next season. Donegal Celtic will be massively pleased with what they've done this season, as they've somehow qualified for the Globe Cup.. Olympic Thessia won't be so pleased with their season, and they'll want to comeback next season and either win something or once again qualify for the Globe Cup again. Miago City will be happy with their 'development' season as they try and recover from losing important players (Tomas Sivoli), and will want their new squad to gel. Local rivals Parr City and DNFK will be pleased with their seasons, and both will pleased that they've stayed up. Olympik of Stratenberg's three-year stay in the Takillega is over, they're going down. Spionar Rangers have come up and go straight back down and Thessia '23 are going down too, their three-year stay in the top-flight is also over, as they're going down to the 2. Takillega.

SK Port Jarko go back to the top-flight after a season down in the second-tier of Mytanar football. 1923 Esca have the same story, FK Sportsverein Kitzbuhel '66 go upto the top-flight for the first time in their history too and Fk Trunca go back to the top-flight after a 6-year stay in the 2. 1994/1995 Season - Season Review

Yeah, so those are the results. Some of them are pretty scary, no? 10-1 on the first match day, the champions against the minnows? Wow. Just wow. So it looked like Litala '93 would pick up where they left off from last season and beat the living shit out of everybody, but instead - it turned out that they couldn't exactly do that, and lost at some crucial points - which allowed the two teams who finished above them, to finish where they did - rather surprisingly, no? 1896 Ebor have finally won their first title too, which the Northmen will be undoubtedly proud of. We should probably review each teams season now, that's kinda' what this whole report is meant to do - especially as we haven't given our normal coverage, y'know, match day by match day. Instead this season all we get to do is a crappy Astograthian-style season review.. (we're joking!). So yeah, better get on with this little lot. May impress them UICA people, they don't care about team performance's in the TQCC and stuff you know, just how good that reporters cover the leagues stuff. That's all they're bothered about. They like reading.

So yeah, 1896 Ebor finally won their first ever title - but are also one of four date-savvy Mytanar Takillega teams - possibly some kind of record? I don't know. The Northmen will undoubtedly be extremely proud of their first-ever title, the signing of no-nonsense Astograthian centre-back Urritz Otegi seemed to have a decidedly good effect on the Tangerine Army, only M(C)3 million too, bargain signing there. He was a cool head in defence for 1896 Ebor all season, marshalling the defense expertly. It was also the breakthrough season for their 15-year old winger, Mirko Serdyevic, who will certainly be a/the replacement for Dimitry Alixysev on the national team in the future.
