The Red stands for the Comrades who had shed blood for the Unity of Greto under one flag. It also stands for all of the men who gave there lives for the preservation of the Communist State and the Unity of Greto.

The Sickle and Hammer stand for the People and Workers of Greto.

The Blue stands for the Unity of Greto.

The three stripes mean the beauty of our lands, the richness of our seas, and the happiness, peace and friendliness of our peoples. The symbol is the royal one.

In one of the countries our empire was build upon, a long,long time ago, the warriors had the idea, that they wont risk accidentally attacking each other on the field of battle, if they wore colors in a certain style. In the beginning, the colors might have been chosen by some obscure meaning or simply by fashion of the time, later on it was chosen by "What is different enough from what the other tribes in the era wear?" Obviously, the most successful tribe at the end of the tribal times was the one using red and white.
The order has a very similar history. Another country used (black and white) flags to signal stuff over larger distance on the battlefield and the flag with black in the top left and lower right quarter was the signal for "Everybody follow this order..." and in many cases shown with pride as the one with the right to use it is the one with the right to command everybody else around.

The Symbols however have symbolic meaning: The swords used to stand for "nonreligious warrior" (not atheist, but without a rank in the clergy), today they somewhat stand for tradition. The SMGs stand for the conquest and foundation of our empire.

I happen to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (members of my church are frequently referred to as Mormons). The symbolism on the Wochik flag and the nation's motto¹ are both direct results of that fact. I will explain in greater depth when I finish getting it written out to my satisfaction.

The gold band around the edge was placed there as a visual border for the image, so that the edge could be discerned against a white background. We'll say that it is a representation of part of Lehi's vision of the Tree of Life, in which he saw an iron rod stretching along the path to the tree. The rod, in turn, represented the Word of God, which would lead one through the mists of darkness to salvation.

The sun, moon, and star have to do with Paul's statement about "celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial" in 1 Corinthians. Christ, too, said that in His Father's house were "many mansions." The sun, moon, and star on the Wochik flag represent the differing degrees of reward that await us, according to the judgments of God.

Part of the meaning of the bars behind the shield is that good shall overcome evil (light over dark). They also are a secondary representation of the degrees of glory represented by the sun, moon, and star.

The blue border around the shield is of no representational significance, and was added merely for aesthetic reasons.

The green shield is a CTR shield. CTR stands for "Choose the Right" (spiritually, not necessarily politically). Children in the church are often given (inexpensive) rings featuring a green shield with the letters CTR on them to wear as a reminder to always make correct choices, similar to trinkets featuring "WWJD" for What Would Jesus Do. The making of correct choices acts as a shield against the consequences of poor choices. OOC, the shield on the flag is green because the shields on the children's rings are green. IC, the green represents a pure life. In the shield below, you can see the letters for "KD" or "Kahgahrah Dehnfa," which means "Choose Righteousness" in Katothwa Re.

The disk recalls the taegeuk found on the flag of South Korea, and represents the opposing principles of nature. The red stripe expresses revolutionary traditions; the red star is for Communism. The two blue stripes stand for sovereignty, peace and friendship. The white stripe symbolizes purity.

The sideways cross represents christianity. The iron cross is a symbol of nationalism in our country. The yellow colour of the cross represents a bright new future based on absolute devotion to traditional european, white and christian values. The black background represents the strength and unity of the European state.

Our flag represents the cross on which King Rupert the Founder died upon when he was killed after being captured by pirates, and the blue represents the sea from which much of our wealth is gained from.

My nation's basically America with a more Libertarian and Jingoist government controlling Quebec, northern Mexico, Iraq, the Philippines, and a few nations I made up (populated by Dragons in one and Nagas in the other), and part of a third made-up nation populated by Lizards.

Blue represents capitalism, gold represents libertarianism, the red stripe represents the socialism that balances things out, white represents hope for the future and freedom, and the three stars represent the three countries that are now united as Gahaldu.
