The Senate of the Aurentine Commonwealth,
RECOGNIZING the importance of religious devotion to the lives of many Aurentines;
AFFIRMING the need for religious bodies that pursue charity work in their communities to not be taxed on their income;
APPALLED that some unsavoury persons seek to exploit the religious beliefs of others and the tax-free nature of religious groups to enrich themselves;

- "Religion" is defined as an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to the supernatural, and to spirituality.
- "Religious group" is defined as a group that undertakes actions in the name of religion.
- "Public interest" is defined as the welfare or well-being of the general public.
- "Charity work" is defined as actions undertaken, without want for profit, by non-government organizations in the public interest.
Tax Exemption- Religious groups that can provide material evidence to the Revenue Collection Agency that they engage in charity work shall be exempt from taxation on their income.
- For the purposes of this Act, the definition of charity work shall not include the promotion of religious beliefs on their own.
