In a way you're somewhat right, since humans and the currently existing primates share a common ancestor. Mind you, that common ancestor was pretty ape-like. Can't win 'em all, kid.

It's perfectly possible that they find fossils of even more primate ancestors, yes. Theories usually evolve as well, since new discoveries often lead to addendums and fine-tuning of the original theory.

Science is made of theories - that is, sets of replicable observations explained by a logically consistent model. That is, "facts", not just "truths".

Look, Pokemon are clearly the product of a bioweapons program and therefore actually proof of intelligent design. Their 'spontaneous' evolutions have clearly been hardcoded into their genetic material by the military bio-engineers of a forgotten era.

I trust the well documented facts that:

1. All living things passes on their DNA to their offsprings.
2. DNA will occationally mutate.

From those 2 points you can easily derive that, over time, beneficial mutations will acclumate while bad ones will disappear. That is Evolution.

Introduction to Human Evolution wrote:Humans are primates. Physical and genetic similarities show that the modern human species, Homo sapiens, has a very close relationship to another group of primate species, the apes. Humans and the great apes (large apes) of Africa -- chimpanzees (including bonobos, or so-called “pygmy chimpanzees”) and gorillas -- share a common ancestor that lived between 8 and 6 million years ago. Humans first evolved in Africa, and much of human evolution occurred on that continent. The fossils of early humans who lived between 6 and 2 million years ago come entirely from Africa.

Yes, I believe in Evolution. Genesis was symbolic and that's the first 4 chapters or summary of what happens during the evolution. If The Greatest Architect Of The Universe included the complete evolution in the book, Genesis will look like an encyclopedia. Well that is so huge multi-volume to read before Exodus.
