"are you really going to take that my dear fellow?" Björn cried to the fellows that seemed to be about to argue "I mean if you allow them to walk right over you they will continue to do just that I say! you would have to stand up for yourself if you do not want to appear weak!" he continued to add, after all the poor fellow seemed to need some encouragement, after all so was it a shame if he allowed himself to get talked down in that manner, and it would also be jolly good to see a fist fight if he managed to push them to that extreme.

Soaring spared a look of abject disgust for the Imeriatian Delegate, who was spitting so vigorously. the representative of the slaver nation he noted. Before continuing to talk to Daffydill.

" We are interested, in exporting what grains we can in exchange for muffins from Muffinvania. As for the Textiles, we have a wide variety of fabrics very useful for environmental protection and the like. Although some of our strongest clothing manufacturers are most expert at the design and implementation of cloaks. Did uranium just take a nose dive? I guess that we just can't compete with those prices while they're that low. " Soaring said while looking around, and using the Piplad to check the market price as it took a nosedive to extremely unprofitable levels for the Republic.

Raspberry and Salvatore quietly reentered the room and stand behind Soaring while he tries to negotiate some resource contracts without setting off any more political landmines.

" If you do end up leaving, perhaps we'd be able to discuss trade matters through our embassy in your country? As I seem to remember we do have one in Shrillland." Raspberry spoke up and stepped forward to stand beside Soaring, addressing Rarity.

"Will everyone be silent."

Hansaul Crowling Announced quite annoyed and forcefully

"We called this summit to discuss the economical future of the CoPS, not aboout personnal spats or internal politics, and since my country is one of a few who would like to secure a benifit of trade and commerce, we will now follow these guidlines from this moment on. 8 minutes each for speeches, no discussions on side deals, and absolutely no going over the time limit. "I call for a recess. Let us cool off a bit." Greengrass suggested.

"Tensions are too high for us to make any sort of progress." He continued, looking over at Jacob, his eyes telling him to relax.

"I agree. Let's break for lunch and reconvene in about 2 hours?" The Archon asked.

Jacob whispered to Kane and the man nodded. Walking towards the Imeriatan delegate he handed him a note.

'The Archon would like to speak with you. Please follow him.'

He left them and he did the same for the YellowApple delegation.

Raspberry and Soaring both simultaneously facehoofed at the declaration. They were effectively out since they had little diplomatic training to begin with. Salvatore just takes something out of his pocket and pops it into his mouth, chewing it over while this goes on.

" Is there a cafeteria here?" She asked.

" What's the selection?" Soaring asked.

" maybe we should join one of the other delegates." Salvatore suggested gesturing over towards the one from Salvarity.

After watching exchanges between delegates, the Minrozians mentally facepalm on how immature they are. Monkhi pinch his nose to try to calm himself down, Yaz calmly sips her glass of water while Ozgol lean lazily on his table watching the childish exchanges. They sighed in unison; they never expected the Economic summits to go worse. Once Octavia of Lubyak calls for recess, the Minrozians left the table in orderly fashion.

“That’s great,” Ozgol said sarcastically “Some nations think this is the political summit, but nooooo, it isn’t, guess they aren’t economists.”

“We share your sentiments nephew;” Monkhi agrees “There are nations who prefer aggressive actions over talks to get what they want, like Xoraine. Pray this meeting will not end guns ablaze,”

“Amen to that,” Yaz utters “Still, we need to find at least good trading partner, see if any nations interested in our Motherland.”

“I wager that no one will be interested,” the crown prince grunted

“Not quite, since we’re here, I’m pretty confident any one of them decides to talk with us,” the CEO said optimistically

“Hmph, really,” Ozgol grunted as he gestures to the delegates “Seems they like to ignore us, in spite of us, being bigger nation than any of them combined as well as technologically advanced. They’re too clamoured in their disputes with each other.”

“Ozzie, I have to agree with Monkhi,” Yaz quip happily “the Celritannians took notice of us first, meaning they notice our presences, all we got to do is to wait,”

“Right,” Ozgol sighs “patience is not really my strong suit in regards to negotiation, but I was thinking before is that coming here is a waste of time,”

Princess Alicia and Hansaul Crowling decided to take a walk to stretch theit legs, and in the process, purchess some light refreshments.

" 'Tis annoying how an economic meeting can lead towards pittyful discussion of domestic politics. Honestly, we need to concentrate more on building financial relations first before we talk about the political side. My apologise Your Highness, I forget sometimes how abrubt as well as blut I can be in your presence."

"Nonsense Hansaul, you have done well to get thus far in such a short time, infact I am quite envious. For me, it took me almost 20 years to get to the status I am now, everyone, even the royal-Imperial Family, have to ern their place from the bottom, only then can tru leadership be gained. The right to lead through the experience of those who will put in the effort."
Alicia smiled at Hansaul before finding the cafateria, purchesing two cups of tea and sitting down at a table.

"Honestly Vice-Banneret..." Alicia Adressed her Vanguardian Officer. "Both you and your guards should relax, you don't have to be so caucious while out here. Your Forget, I have been n the battlefield myself."

"Respect Ma'am, we wish to place your saftey over our own needs."

"Octavius has got to you hasn't he? *sigh* Well please do get a drink, you are entitled to thate ar you not?"

With shoulders hanging limply, Bentus was cast into despair. His entire body was motionless; quite peculiar for a man who was noted for his fidgeting. So readily were the delegates willing to cast aside labor issues into the clutches of national sovereignty, or denounce it as 'not an economic issue', both opinions he felt were really regressive excuses. Still, he might have at leasted attempted to remain composed, until Jacob and the others nearly got into melee over exclusive selling rights throughout the Coalition. He began to wonder if he misinterpreted the invitation, and whether in foreign tongues "economic summit" doesn't mean a gathering of nations to discuss regional economic development and labor practices, but rather a summit where avarice reigned over the hearts of the delegates. Such naivete...

Applejack might have sensed this, still a little miffed that her character was attacked for a proposal that was only in her eyes an attempt to make amends. Even if it was tough medicine she believed it to be best in the long run for Behntashan society. "Come on now sugarcube. No need ta look like yer own harvest got spoil'd now. We have different ideas o' what international standards should be applicable. Ah'm sure we'll find ourselves asking them to back down on a proposal soon enough."

The Prime Minister raised his head, the spikes of his hear disappearing behind it. "Perhaps, but hopefully it's something we will not raise questions of our morals. Though I suppose that morals could be all relative, as Edward Westermarck suggested." Bentus said, leaning on his elbow. He didn't appear very comfortable in the manner which he was sitting, but he tended to disregard the pleas of a blood-starved appendage when he was deep in thought.

Applejack could only stare at him, with the expression of complete bewilderment. "Yeah, Westermarck, what Ah was thinkin'." She said with a roll of her eyes. "Well, don't get too stuck in the mud there; we weren't the only ones with these thoughts it seems." She said, gesturing to the Shrillland and Lykosian delegates. "Perhaps we can meet up with them fer lunch? Might be nice ta have a light-hearted conversashun fer once." And it's been forever since Ah've seen Rarity.

Bentus gave a weak smile, "Perhaps it would prudent to allow my vocal cords to take on less strenuous work; vociferating against some of these stone pillars has caused them to protest it seems."

With this they both pushed their chairs back and stood to in the delegations, Applejack to the Shrilllanders, and Bentus to the Lykosians.

"Rarity! Sweet Celestia has it been a while, though, Ah reckon' we could've met again under some better conditions." She said with a little laugh, while reaching out a hoof. "And Golden Mane, pleasure ta have yer acquaintance. While we're gonna be on break fer the next few hours, why not join me and Bentus fer a bite? Regal Charmer and Daisy Blossom might be joinin' us too, if ya'll wouldn't mind."

Bentus reached out a hand to Regal Charmer to deliver the same enthusiastic handshake that originated back in Merlon when they first met in person. "President Charmer! How long its been since we've last seen each other! Perhaps we can have another repast? I've also taken the liberty of inviting the Shrilllanders to join us, perhaps between our nations, we can all find some common ground that this summit is desperately lacking?""

Rich desired to re-suggest his supervised non-adult labor compromise, but seeing that the meeting had gone into recess, he lacked the opportunity to push it. He felt a sense of pity for the agrarian families even in YellowApple - as few as they were - who would be impacted by their children being suddenly disallowed from operating in the safest to use equipment if it was deemed "heavy", even if so required to maintain the condition of their farms, but nonetheless, there was no use dragging on the argument. He didn't allow his disappointment to show on his face; should Colgate - who was certainly also unnerved by the results of the discussions - pick up on it, it would give the impression that such a display would be tolerable; she was his subordinate - for now - and he therefore was required to lead by example and maintain the appearance of strength.

The tap on the shoulder and the note accompanying it, however, broke his chain of thought. He looked to Colgate.

"Colgate, feel free to address those inquiries. I'll go with Bastion to find us some lunch. ¿Anything in particular you're in the mood in?"

"Steak," Colgate said jokingly. "A nice juicy slab of pony meat. I'm sure there is an abundance of pony slaughterhouses worldwide. I'll foot the bill."

The both of them laughed a bit.

"I'll see if I can find us all some curry. That sounds good, ¿does it not?"

"Sure."

Rich and Bastion thus slid out of their seats, proceeding to search for the nearest source of South Asian cuisine, while Colgate proceeded directly to this 'Archon' the note spoke of - presumably, one of the delegates from the Earth Sphere Coalition - with a less-than-cordial tone, though still with some effort to be polite.

"It's been too long Applejack," Rarity said taking her hoof, "I would be honoured to have lunch with you and yours, I can show you my new dress designs." "Everywhere we go she ends up showing those, " Golden Mane said to Applejack, "so be careful you don't get embroiled in a discussion about the best fabrics. A pleasure to meet you madam." He checked his smartphone for the latest news and it wasn't very good from an economic standpoint. The NME 100 had just plunged 5% on news that Shrillland's Credit rating had dropped again.

Rarity however waved that aside for the moment. "So, how have things been?" she asked as the group headed to the cafeteria.
