Why Was I Warned/Temp Ban?!! I was only giving an opinion!

If you are not:

1) Bringing up a matter of concern with Moderation
2) Reporting a rules violation
3) Linking to a relevant rule or relevant post
4) Answering a report about yourself

do NOT post in moderation. We've gotten many, many, "in my opinion" posts and downright wrong non-mod rulings and they are just NOT HELPFUL.

We're going to start warning or banning folks who can't just stay out unless they have something useful to say.

Since it appears that warnings against gloating, against adding unhelpful comments, et cetera have not made much of an impression, repeat offenders should not be surprised to find temporary bans on their nations.

If you're not reporting a problem, providing clarification about a currently reported problem, giving a link to where it occurred, defending yourself, or otherwise posting a matter of importance, stay out. The constant, unhelpful, and often foolish and snide commentary is not appreciated.

Evidently this needs to be re-stated. Look, we're happy that you guys are so interested in Moderation, but the comments are once again getting out of control. When there's about 4 or 5 comments debating if something is or is not trolling/flaming/whatever before a Moderator gets there, this is bad.

We're gonna have to start slapping more warnings/swinging ban hammers if this keeps up.
