She was the nominee in 2016 and barring the rise of some new party favorite, she's likely the nominee again 2020.

Bill is still celebrated, and the Party's cool uncle. Hell they made a meme out of him leering at Ariana Grande.

If she's not the party darling it's because there's nobody in the Democratic Party that anybody likes.

It's not a defense, it's a "spare me the sanctimonious bullshit of "republicans don't care about SA allegations." Democrats don't give a shit either unless it suits them to.

Hillary Clinton is widely despised among the Democratic voters. Her husband less so, but mostly due to a surplus of nostalgia glasses. As Black Forrest said, don't bother bringing up Clinton when I'll gladly feed her to the tigers along with every cretinous scumbag in Washington.

Until the Party does, that's mean nothing.

In that case, your objections to our concerns over sexual assault clearly aren't based in a desire to eliminate hypocrisy, but in a partisan drive to defend your party members at all times and attack opposition members at all times.

Spare us the rubbish of pretending that voting for Trump, who was accused of assaulting over a dozen women and admitted to getting away with sexual assault, is in anyway equivalent to voting for Clinton, his opponent who stood up for her husband when he was accused in the late 90's. Besides, Trump is just the most notable example.

Republicans have said they're less concerned about sexual assault than democrats are in surveys.

I've heard that the author of the Handmaid's Tale is accusing Kavanaugh of rape on Romulus. The Democrats are demanding to move the trial to December, so that everything can be properly investigated, but they're ok with mid-November as well, something they're willing to accept as a form of compromise. Q called in to confirm that Kavanaugh never visited Romulus, but he was quickly painted as a conservative lobbyist by Cory "Spartacus" Booker.

Look, allegations of rape are serious, and should be addressed. But at this point, this SCOTUS hearing is turning into a circus. Feinstein sat on the latter through the Kavanaugh interviews. The previous accusation failed to state the time and place. The new accusation came out only after an interview was sat. This looks more like delaying the confirmation, than getting Justice for the victims, and it's starting to hurt the "metoo" movement.
