You saved my life that day. You really did." Cora told her sincerely before grabbing the large bin of computer and flying through the hole she made into the air.

Cora was silent for most of the ride back as she carried the large bin in her hands. Finally though, when they were getting close to New York she finally spoke up. "You asked me before, how the scientist could do that to me. They told me you know. They said I wasn't humam, so they could do what they want with me." Cora told Katie sadly. "You were my first friend, did you know that? I never had one before you. I always wanted one though. I had no one to talk to in the lab. It was so lonely. You're everything I could have hoped for." She told her. Cora rarely opened up like this, she hadn't told Katie anything about her past before. It was a sign that she truly trusted her. Soon their tower came into sight and Cora slowed down to land on the roof.

"... Thanks Cora. I..." She paused. "That really means a lot to me." She said honestly, quite emotionally overwhelmed at the moment. She felt so warm and fuzzy inside as she unfused from Cora. She seemed to be tearing up slightly as she looked Cora in the eye. A small smile was on her lips as she wrapped her arms around her best friend. "Thanks for coming into my life buddy... You helped me too. Helped me realise-"

She suddenly paused. A frown on her face as she realised something was wrong. She felt a sense, a wave of... Something.... Like something was causing a tremor... Through her soul. Anyone else could feel it. The sudden shake of their hearts almost in Time with footsteps.

Katie could see a female figure in the street. Her face was covered in a ski mask and she seemed to have wings sprouting from her back. Following her were a crowd of small little creatures that moved around her like schopla of fish, looking like pink goblins with sharp claws.

The woman herself walked in a strait line on he street, effortlessly pushing away cars that got in her way. She stood in front of the tower. A smile on her face.

"Looks like trouble..." She paused. "Want to see what she wants?" Her green hood and full costume materilized around her, part of what she had asked sheild for was something that helped her dress quickly. The other thing was still a work in progress unfortunatly.

Mia Aveline – Devil’s Den

Mia’s mind was reeling, working in overdrive as the unexpected events continued to develop so quickly around her. For years she had idolised CeeCee, identifying her as someone who could truly understand. The hero was the manifestation of true perfection: calm, strong, beautiful; Mia had spent years training herself with the motivation of, some-day, being able to gain the recognition, acceptance and praise of the fabled warrior. In their first meeting, she couldn’t have failed more spectacularly, wasting what she’d thought would have been her only opportunity to impress CeeCee – but now it looked like she’d been given another chance.

"Oh right, I completely forgot about Sentinel for a moment, I was only thinking about you.”

Mia’s blush worsened, her world temporarily blurring as her legs felt momentarily weak. The statement was like a drug pumped directly into her veins, a euphoric sensation tearing its way through the young woman. She’d trained and trained, learnt how to use her powers to tear down her opponents, but never had Mia thought that she’d perhaps end up impressing CeeCee in another way. The young woman desperately tried to resist running her eyes along the curvaceous figure, shuddering as previously taboo thoughts shot through her conscious. Did CeeCee really think of her that way? Did she want to… A shiver ran down Mia’s spine.
And then it all started falling apart.

"Are you all right? You're as pink as a cherry blossom, and you look like you're about to faint. If you need to lie down a bit there's long seats in the ViP lounge, if Sentinel's as smart as the Batman of this universe he'll find you no problem any way. Unless you feel it's better to go find him."

“No, no! I’m perfectly fine, wonderful.” Mia replied almost immediately, not wanting CeeCee to think that she was weak or suddenly got cold feet – the thought triggered a slight panic. “I mean, I’m sure Sentinel would be able to find us if he wanted to, so there’s no need for us to – I mean, unless you want to go find him. In which case I’d love to go looking for him too!” The young woman could feel her goal slipping painfully from her fingers, each passing moment forever placing it further and further out of her reach. She had to impress CeeCee, she could not allow this to be the last time that they spoke – she had to do something to show her that she was good enough. Mia’s thoughts wandered towards the VIP lounge.

“Actually now that you mention it, I do feel a little off-balance all of a sudden. Maybe getting away from all of this noise will do me some good?” Mia stumbled towards CeeCee, as if her legs had momentarily given out. The calculated move caused her figure to press into the taller woman’s, as Mia flung her arms out to clasp around CeeCee’s neck, her own head ending mere inches away from the hero’s. “You know, a bit of privacy can work wonders, non?”

Suddenly, she felt the presence of a third figure and immediately moved away. “Sentin – I mean Nightblade! We were just about to go looking for you.”

After the trio had moved into the VIP lounge, Mia had begrudgingly plopped herself down on one of the vacant couches – a noticeably glum expression plastered on her features. A part of her listened absent-mindedly to Sentinel’s words, eliciting some joy at hearing that both Jester and Silver Queen had apparently survived the destruction of Arkham and that Mia’d be able to see them again. But a far more prominent part of her conscience was despondent at having once again failed to garner CeeCee’s full attention. How was she supposed to even be noticed now that the Sentinel was here? Worse still, with his wife and daughter having left him –
It all served to quite effectively rain on Mia’s parade.

New Rnclave wrote:Hiroshi:

They were all doomed.

There was a green flash as the inky black smoke parted, revealing the massive warrior, confidently striding towards the three of them.

" You think just because there are three of you, you could defeat me? Did two on one do any good? What makes you think one more of this planets pathetic warriors will give you the strength to stand up to me?"

He was right. Hiroshi knew that, there was no denying the facts.

" But that doesn't mean we'll give up!"

Before anymore words could be trded, The beast howled, before the Earth parted below him. It cracked and gave way as he charged, scattering the warriors, none having time to respond. A huge uppercut blew Hazzel away, a strong kick folded over Claudia and sent her flying through several buildings. Hiroshi himself was blasted away by the pure force the beats exerted, Hiroshi attempting to flip through the air for a counter-strike.

But it was too late. Before he could move a muscle, even manage a frantic flip, The Super Saiyan collided with him. A giant fist slammed into his abdomen, violently twisting his organs and bruising the tissue badly. His feet left the ground in a impossibly quick motion, the Giant swinging him into the air like a weapon, before batting the ground and several buildings with his helpless form, tossing him into the ground with ease. Struggling to breath over the blood clogging in his throat, Hiroshi shakily looked up to see a boot looming above him.

Tomia:

She'd been flying for hours it seemed, from the broken coffee shop her father had left her in. The destruction and the brutal beating of her father and even... Claudia, had been to painful to watch, the way they looked on in horror as that thing tanked ever blast and attack her Father could dish out, was unbearable.

" C-come on Daddy... You can do this!" Nodding, her eyes filled with determination, Tomia pushed herself as fast as she could, her body, as new to flying as it was, rubbed raw from continuous friction. Slowly, everything came into view, Her Daddy was on his back, the Beast confidently speaking to him whilst he raised his boot, preparing to stomp on him, the other man who had saved her was half sticking out of rubble, and Claudia was standing, if just barely.

" Leave my Daddy alone you big bully!"

Diving her leg out, arching towards the Titans neck, she drove a kick into his traps, pain exploding throughout her body as she crumpled, helplessly flipping over the monster and rolling through dust.

" I hate children." The Beast responded, before grinning like a madman.

Blinding pain followed, it was so intense that Tomia felt as if the entire right side of her face had simply vanished. Whatever hit her, did so with such strength that she couldn't see out of her right eye, her jaw ached with pain, and holding it shut was a struggle in it's own right. Something warm was leaking down the right side of her face, and dripped onto her clothes. Turning her one good eye, she spied the hand that smacked her away, sending her careening helplessly away. Colors swirled in her vision, two of the monsters stalking towards her as she lost the will to hold Super Saiyan.

" Who do you belong to little one?" it cackled, gripping her by the hair. " Let's just see who responds when I kill you."

As the monster pulled her up brutally, the world swam, an image of her Father, shakily standing to his feet, Claudia of all people behind him, squaring off against the monster as he gathered energy in his free hand.

The man was going to die.

Pointing his hand at Hazzel, it cackled as it released a large green orb, the area quaking as it detonated. In a terrible explosion, Tomia saw the man disappear in a terrible cloud of smoke.

" Leave he rout of this! She's just a child!" Hiroshi shouted before a horrific cackle filled the air.

" Tell me Boy. How much do you love your daughter?"

The words sent chills down Tomia's spine as he was tossed away, a strangled cry escaping her Father as he charged the Beast. it was almost impossible to move, let alone stand, and being tossed away so quickly was to much for her weak stomach, a violent expulsion from her stomach led to her getting vomit all over her dogi.

Looking up in a fit of dizziness again, she saw the golden form of her Dad lock arms with the beats again, struggling valiantly before folding beneath the monster in seconds. For the first time, Tomia saw her Father fight, and lose.

Tossed into the air, Hiroshi was simply batted aside as if he were a fly, slamming brutally into the ground and left unmoving as if he was nothing. Looking ahead again, she saw Claudia land several strikes before being kicked aside, bashed painfully into a building. When Tomia looked at her Father again, she saw his mouth open slowly in a desperate cry.

"RUN!"

Ice ran through her blood as she looked into her Fathers eyes. It was just like Garlic all over again, and he was gonna die for her, again. Staggering to her feet, she managed five steps before collapsing into a pile, coughing blood into her hands. Struggling to push herself to her feet again, a massive hand gripped the back of her dogi, before the other gripped her neck, before pulling her into the air. Holding her in the air, her legs dangling helplessly, a evil laugh filled the air.

" Look at how pathetic you all are You're all a waste of flesh and blood!"

Slowly the grip on her neck began to tighten like a noose. Every second the monster grip closed that much tighter, Even as pressure on his neck built, and red liquid ran over the Beasts hands, Tomia glanced over the battlefield with her one good eye. In her blurred vision, she saw Hazzel begin to rise, only partially concealed by smoke. Turning her eye away, she clenched them shut, willing the day, and this monster away.

With her eyes shut, she felt the hand close even tighter. Her lungs began to panic for air as her throat closed on her, tears welling up in her eyes.

Claudia. Claudia was getting up, and so was her Dad. They'd save her, they had too. Her Daddy would save her, he always did, he never gave up on her.

Suddenly, there was a popping noise in her neck, and pain exploded throughout her frame.

There was no hiding it anymore. There was no concealing the tears, no concealing the pain.

Everything in her mind screamed at her to fight back. A scream of absolute agony ripped from her throat before her neck tightened to far. Choking, pain howls escaped her as she shakily moved her hands up, gripping the hands and attempting to pry them away. With another pop, her hands fell away, her entire lower body falling limp.

All she could hear was the bones in her neck shifting under massive pressure.

Help. Someone please. Daddy!

" TOMIA!!

The last voice she heard was her Fathers as he sprinted towards her. For a brief moment, a smile grew on her lips, even amongst insurmountable pain and fear. Her daddy was coming.

It was quickly followed, not by the sounds of bones popping, but the brutal crack of them breaking. For a split second, pain tore through her, before her everything disappeared. She couldn't hear her breathing anymore, she couldn't feel a thing. She plainly couldn't hear.

In the final seconds, all she saw was her Father sprinting towards her, his arm outstretched, reaching for her.

And then she couldn't hear.

No she had though when Tomia was in the monsters arms. She was just about to move. The temperature went up to incredible levels. Then she heard the crack, and her heart skipped a beat. Tears came out of her eyes, quickly evaporated yet they had come out. No no no no no no.

"NO!" she screamed, tearing through her throat as if she vomited forth a thousand knives. The volume of it was enough to deafen people, like an explosion. She looked blankly for a second, wit nothing but dispair in her eyes.

Then her eyes lit up. Like someone had put a lot flame to gasoline they lit up brightly. Then in the next few moments Claudia charged the Saiyan. The temperature around her now enough to melt titanium like butter. It was hard to look in her direction, the fire so bright it would blind normal humans.

She screamed. She didn't stop even as she slammed into her foe, her fist rising to pummel Broly. Claudias fists rhythmically slammed down onto him like hammers, encircled by blue fire and powered by nothing but the purest of anger. She picked up in speed, completely whaling all her rage out into her foe.

She giggled in response to his disappointment. Then went in for the real kiss. She placed her hands on his cheeks as she kissed him, their lips touching together before she moved off ever so slightly, still close to him. "That cheesy enough for you?"

I had a feeling that Ceecee would be willing to help me, but just in case, I needed her to trust me. So, I removed my mask as NightBlade and stood as I faced her.

"Ceecee, I am sure you remember me. We were both at Arkham Asylum some time ago. I am here because I need some information. I have picked up rumors of Jester trying to locate the Joker. I want to find them both, along with their accomplices, and start with cleaning Gotham up with them. Joker is the face of the disease destroying Gotham. Mia here, has offered to help me restore order in Gotham." I then took a seat next to Mia.

"I know you are likely aware that I do not use...lethal means, to achieve a goal. But things have...changed. People like us, we are professionals. We have the capabilities to enter into this mess and eradicate the disease crippling Gotham without collateral damage. So, what I am asking is...Do you know where the Joker is? If we find him, Jester and Silver Queen will also find us. Then we can deal with all of them in a single swoop." I finished explaining.

The Devil's Den

Taking a seat in the VIP room CeeCee listened to what Daniel had to say, she was a bit surprised at first this was Daniel considering the new look and all, and he sounded a bit different to the man CeeCee heard about. That said a deceased son can change any man. CeeCee was also glad that Mia was regaining herself and didn't look like she was about to faint any more either. Back to Daniel, CeeCee wasn't sure what to say, she was mulling everything over in her head and was honestly not sure if she should go back to her militaristic way of talking or just try to keep talking more casual like. After all even if this was a business meeting of sorts, she still had to learn casual conversation.

"Hey Daniel, you look, different, and of course I remember you, we may never have met but we fought on the same side before and that whole trial thing has made head line news even in Gotham. I'll be happy to help you Daniel." CeeCee changed her position and leaned over a bit facing Daniel directly. "I heard what Jester said about the Joker, if she's looking for him she'll probably try to kill him. My first idea says let them kill each other, but if those two clash who knows how many people they'll drag down with them using their, ..., jokes." CeeCee was trying to remember hearing anything about where the Joker or the Jester might be, CeeCee did have information about most people in Gotham, but those were special.

"I wish I could give you their location, or even a clue of where. But since I was 10 I've been trained to think as a soldier, using numbers, logics, tactics. The Joker and Jester use none of those, when searching for them I look for patterns that aren't there, I can't see any logic and I don't understand their tactics. I have no clue where to look." CeeCee looked away for a bit, a bit ashamed she can't be of much help, but she did have some information. "I'm assuming you've face beings like the Joker in your universe so you might have more luck than me, I know where he's been sighted and I know the messages he's left, I might not be able to link those together to where he is now but you might."

"I feel like I should warn you up front though, don't look at people as if they are diseases, no matter how cruel and evil they might be. Whenever I killed someone I saw if as a necessity, not because I thought they were a disease that needed eliminating, but because they had a disease and I saw no chance left to cure them and they had to be put out of their misery. Take the Joker for instance, I don't think whoever the man was before being the Joker ever wanted to become the Joker. So it's only merciful to put him down."

Jenny's anger was fuming, especially since the stranger, Salis ignored her question. She thought of killing him to avenge the Riddler. He wasn't her father, but she still had his DNA. However, killing him wasn't very advantageous, considering that she wouldn't prove anything. He'd just be another one dead. But to challenge him in the arena here would be interesting. Challenging him and beating him. Now that would do it. Humiliation would be how she would avenge the Riddler. A cruel smile crossed her face.

As Salis left, she stood up and said, "I challenge the Riddler's killer to a battle in the arena. If he wins, I will help him locate Two-face. If he loses, he will provide protection for me. Is the killer too afraid of me? He should be, if he was smart. If not, well, he'll learn a lesson."

Salis stopped in his tracks, a smile creeping onto his face. If this little scumbag wanted to attack him in defense of a murderer, he would gladly kick her ass. Turning around, Salis walked right up to her so that he was looking down through the extra inch he had on her. A slightly sadistic smile plastered there with a good dose of confident danger.

"You want to fight me defending a murderous freak?" he said, "That's fine by me." Salis was supremely confident in his many years of experience street fighting and infiltrating top security areas. He was well versed in marksmanship, hand to hand, and knife fighting along with his power. If this girl wanted to tussle, he was willing to tussle. "Bring it on."

Jenny laughed, "You want to fight me? No begging or pleading for me to have mercy? Have it your own way." She threw off the coat she had over her Nth armor. It revealed the trident, Riddle Cane, and Promethenium Sword she had on her back as well as the two handguns at her sides. She said, "To be fair, I won't use my big guns." She tossed aside her sniper rifle and shotgun. "Are you really sure, you want to lose? Because you're going to." She offered her hand, "I want to shake your hand before the match to seal our deal."

Cora was very much enjoying the moment she and Katie were sharing and hugged her best friend back. She saw Katie was tearing up a bit but decided not to bring it up. She returned Katie's smile and then listened to her speak. She wondered what she was going to say when she was suddenly interrupted by something. Cora could feel that something was off as well. She looked down the street and saw a woman with wings, it was very strange. She nodded when Katie asked if she wanted to see what was going on. She ran over to the corner of the roof and pressed a button beneath one of the railings. When she pressed it a large container that held her red infinity suit. It was designed liked Katie's but had an infinity sign in the center and had plate armor in the vulnerable places. When she stepped inside the containing closed and a few moments later Cora came out as Infinity. "Alright, lead the way Katie." She said her best friend. This seemed like trouble, but she was sure she and Katie could handle it.

"Good cop and bad cop. That sounds kinda interesting. Rather unorthadox for a green Lantern." She remarked. "It could work. Still I'd ideally like to avoid causing too much death and destruction." "It could work. You be the nice one, I be the mean one. If it worked on TV, and for Batman, Why can't it work for us?" He asks. "I can keep things... Not blown up. He was merely an example." Alex was only able to eat half his burger before declaring himself full. Naja didn't make it much farther as she had turned her powers off so she could fully enjoy the time spent with her now human boyfriend. "For 11 dollars, this burger had better be worth two meals." She said asking the waiter for boxes to take their food home with. "Speaking of going home, we need to take you grocery shopping. I don't think you can survive on a half eaten cheeseburger forever." She said putting her food in the box. "And I guess I'll have to teach you how to cook now won't I? Wait, can you use the microwave?"

"I know how a microwave works Naja. It's not rocket science." He said as they walked out of the Den. "That was fun though. We should do it again sometime. Let me show you a cool trick I picked up." He said and his right hand glowed a bit and he teleported them back to the JQ tower. "Cool huh? Now you can give me the grand tour."

"Alright. Your room is on the 7th floor." She said leading him to an elevator. "It's got everything you're gonna need." After getting to the 7th floor she took him to room 713. "Here we are. Bedroom is over there, kitchen is here." She pointed out as Alex put his food in the fridge. "If you need anything, just let me know and I'll help you out. To the Supermarket! And by that I mean Wal-mart."

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:By the time Craig had reached the reception in his elevator, Etla had placed the donuts on the counter and put both bracelets on her arms in order to carry them more comfortably. So when the man arrived, the blonde girl threw her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug which made it very fortunate that she was not using any of her Cores at the moment. "Craig~!" She shouted back in delight, before releasing the embrace and pulling back, merely smiling as she listened to the human speak.

Now, the Rainborn was understandably confused when Craig told her that she shouldn't have brought donuts, only to subsequently pick one up and eat it. Etla was utterly puzzled after being witness to this string of actions. Why did he say that she shouldn't have brought them? Was it because he didn't like them anymore? Had his tastes changed so quickly? It hadn't been that long since they'd last been together and he seemed to like donuts well enough back then, so that was probably not it. What, then? Did it have anything to do with how Helen said that people who ate too much got chubby? She doubted it was that. She quickly looked Craig up and down and he didn't look bad to her, not at all, his clothes were not entirely to her tastes but barring that he looked pretty good. Then again, perhaps he didn't think so. She would have to convince him of it later, then. But either way, if that was the case, why did he pick up the donut? Was he truly that weak-willed? Unlikely, as she had witnessed him work tirelessly in the Asgardian forges. Was it some sort of human courtesy, then? That was the most likely answer, but it still left the Rainborn unsatisfied, and she frowned slightly at the comment.

The rest of what Craig said, she didn't completely understand. She could grasp the concept of a shield generator just fine, as her technological nature had the useful side effect of making her somewhat versed in things of technological nature, and she could understand the scope of the shield quite well, too. But all the talk about wars, about bombings, that was not something she was familiar with. Regardless, she kept on smiling. She may not understand entirely, but from what she had seen of humans, this shield was something quite advanced, and Craig appeared very enthusiastic about his project, so it would be very rude not to acknowledge his accomplishment, especially considering she was his friend.

"That's great, Craig." She said, still beaming, before noticing him pointing at the bracelets. Her smile quickly turned to a grin.

"Oh, these? They're entry passes to a fun place I found a bit ago. I got one for you too!" She said excitedly, taking off one of the bracelets and handing it to him. "It's not too far off from here. I was hoping you'd come with me." She stated, smiling up at him as she clasped his hand with both of hers.

Seeing her confusion, Craig quickly moved to explain. "It's an expression that we use sometimes, to sound pleasantly surprised. It doesn't literally mean that I didn't want you to bring the doughnuts, I'll always love them. Anyway, thank you for the doughnuts, Etla, and sorry if I confused you." he said, smiling at her once again. "A fun place? Sure, let's go." he said, looking down at their clasped hands and smiling once again. He put on the bracelet, examining it quickly, before he quickly walked to his receptionist and told her that he would be going, if anyone asked. Walking back to Etla, he straightened his coat, and waved a hand, saying, "Lead the way," starting to walk with her.

Dean was silent as Elena’s words sapped him of his anger, the aggressive words and biting accusations that had been on the tip of his tongue suddenly feeling worthless as he listened to the girl. He searched her eyes, trying to discern her sincerity beneath that cowl – to find a human being hiding beneath the impenetrable layers of a Bat. The personification of fear and dread for so many, a monster which served to keep them jumping at shadows and haunted their nightmares, no-one in the rougher areas of Gotham could avoid discussing the Bats in a hushed voice. Yet here one stood, as frayed at the edges as the rest of them, trying to maintain control of a situation that had so quickly deteriorated around her. What good would lashing out be? What benefit would there be of calling her out on her hypocrisy, listing the harm her own actions had caused? Be her methods right or wrong, Dean could truly see that Elena’s heart was in the right place – and at that moment that was the most important thing.

In the end, much like her, he sighed in resignation.

“Unfortunately, there’s not much to walk away to.” Bat or not, Elena was Gotham’s best hope – and Ethan supposed that he didn’t really have that much to lose at the end of the day. “Alright.” he said, clapping his hands together to try and snap everyone out of their reverie and directing his full attention to Batgirl. “Please tell me you have a plan?”

Elena nodded to him, and began. "Vannis controls about half of the city, or, rather, Vannis and whoever he's working with. We're going to need help to give this city some order. A couple weeks ago, Commissioner Gordon was shot, by whom, I suspect a corrupt police officer. For awhile he was in critical condition, but from what I've seen he's stabilized, and is speaking now. I need the names of police officers who are still loyal to Gordon, I'm going to need their help. That's where you come in, Dean. Gordon is currently in Gotham General Hospital. As a paramedic, you should be able to access Gordon's room. Ask him about who shot him, and the names of loyal police officers. Try not to be seen as much as possible, I'm not sure why Gordon's not been a target, but I want to keep it that way."

"While you're doing that, I'll be convincing some gang members to tell me the locations of all of his warehouses and Vannis' main base of operations. After you get the names, we'll meet back here, and I'll visit them one by one. We'll raid the warehouses, depriving them of their weapon supplies, and after that, we move in on his headquarters, and seize Vannis. Then we'll have to clean up the streets of all of the remaining gang members. But one step at a time. Any questions?"

Valka Silverhand
The Battle of Two Warriormaidens

It was high noon upon Themyscira, and there, Wonder Woman, with a small party of Amazonians including Hippolyta. And then, the Asgardian ships appeared on the horizon, their hulls cutting quickly through the blue sea, led by Skipbladnir, Valka visible at the helm. Skipbladnir reaching the shores, Valka jumped down, Skipbladnir remaining at the shore and the rest of the fleet still at sea, Wonder Woman was in her golden armor, the wing design being removed. A shield was on her wrist, the Lasso of Truth, as always at her side. Strapped to her back was a spear, and in her hand was a sword with a golden hilt, Wonder Woman also holding a red-plumed helmet.

Valka was arrayed in her usual, enchanted armor, Oathbringer, her uru sword, sheathed at her side, Gungnir in one hand, and Mjolnir, hanging on her wrist in the other, her Valkyrie helmet already upon her head.

She was led to the large arena, where the Amazonians and her Valkyries sat, Valka and Diana facing each other below, on the hot sand. A horn blew, and so, the fight began, Wonder Woman, stepping forward, Valka casting away Mjolnir for the moment, and drawing Oathbringer, Gungnir still in hand.

The two warriormaidens began to circle each other, Valka, keeping her eyes on Diana, examined her. Her stance was excellent, and with both sword and shield in hand, Diana would be a formidable opponent. Valka could end the fight in two seconds by utilizing her power over metal, and while all and any methods of attack were allowed save interference, it would be dishonorable, and Diana was one of the most honorable opponents Valka could ever have.

The two of them, having hundreds of years in experience when it came to combat, tried to circle around their respective opponent in attempt to have their eyes in the sun, putting them at a serious disadvantage. But both of them were far too experienced for that, and thwarted each other's efforts. And so, they remained, circling each other for thirty minutes, waiting for the other to make the first move.

Growing tired of it, mentally, that is, Valka sprang forward, and Diana, apparently being of the same mind, did so simultaneously. Their swords clashed, sparking, and so, the battle began in earnest. Diana slashed sideways, towards Valka's head, and the All-Mother, slipping under the sword, got inside her guard and punched, sending the Princess of Themyscira flying. Valka followed quickly, but Diana, recovering her sword, skidded to a stop and rose her sword, blocking Valka's overhead slash.

The Asgardian refused to let the Amazonian attack, constantly probing her defenses with Gungnir and Oathbringer. But the Amazonian's defenses would not be broken, and, after parrying a blow from Gungnir, slammed her shield into Valka, knocking the breath out of her, before quickly slashing towards Valka's stomach, drawing first blood.

Valka, gaining some distance, looked at the smiling Wonder Woman, looked down at her armor. Wonder Woman's sword had been described as being able to carve the electrons off an atom, and that certainly fit. But Valka, smiling, drew away her hand, the enchanted uru armor repairing itself, smiling smugly at the disappointed Princess.

Diana, leaping high into the air, raised her sword, as if she meant to cleave Valka in two, and the goddess had little doubt that she could achieve considerably.

Valka, however, was formidable in her own right, and while, before she had become All-Mother, Wonder Woman would have been a match for her, now, she was something more, than the levels of both Asgardians and Amazonians. She was now a Skyfather, and it was time that she showed her true power. As Diana dropped towards her, sword raised high, Valka, rising, drove her uru hand into Wonder Woman's exposed stomach, sending her sailing out of the arena, the Amazonians gasping. Valka flying up, floated towards the prone princess, waiting until she got up, before continuing. "You are a formidable opponent, Diana of Themyscira, among the strongest women I have seen, strong, and honorable enough to be one of my Valkyries. But you cannot win, and yet you will not yield, that Amazonian pride will not abide that, and neither would my own pride."

Diana, getting up, nodded, speaking her mind. "There is also much to be admired in you, All-Mother, and I am honored. But let us fight, and we will see who the victor will be." she said, fiercely, withdrawing her spear, and hurling it at the speed of light at Valka, whom, already rushing forward, batted it aside with Oathbringer, again trying an overhead slash, which Diana blocked with her unbreakable gauntlets. Now, inside Valka's guard, Diana took the liberty of punching her in the face, beginning her own relentless attack, slashing, cutting, kicking and punching. Valka steadily and calmly parried, blocked and dodged some of the blows, before Diana finished her move with a crashing uppercut which sent Valka into the air, the Amazonian swiftly flying up, and smashing her metal bracelets into Valka's helmeted ears, making them ring and bleed. Valka's mouth rose in a silent scream of pain as Diana continued her assault, punching Valka into various mountains, trees, and eventually, through the stone arena walls back onto the burning sound. With one knee on Valka's chest, she leaned down, asking, "Do you yield, Asgardian?"

A quiet whisper came in response. "No. For all your battle prowess and wisdom, Diana of Themyscira, you have forgotten one thing. Mjolnir." Valka said, utilizing her superior strength to throw Diana off her, the hammer in question, crackling with blue lightning, coming to hand. And they fought once more, Diana, knowing that even her sword forged by Hephaestus could not help her here, used her Bracelets of Submission while Valka constantly smashed at her defenses. For the gauntlets had blocked Darkseid's beams more than once, and they would not break even to Mjolnir.

But just as it seemed that Wonder Woman's defense was crumbling, she, throwing up her gauntlets just as Mjolnir clashed against them, throwing both of them back. And then, taking the brief respite, Diana clasped her bracelets, and removed them, casting them to the floor. Her eyes and armor glowed electric blue as she accessed the power she held as the daughter of Zeus. Summoning two electric swords, she charged right back at Valka, Zeus' power minimizing the effect that Valka's hammer could have, but Mjolnir and Valka were still the greater.

The All-Mother, deeming the time right, threw out her hands, with her right, the all-consuming Valka-Force, and the other, flaming fireballs. Diana threw her own hands up, forming a lightning shield, but ever so slowly, the flames and the Asgardian cosmic force began licking and destroying the shield faster than Diana could repair it. And as the shield faltered, Valka put forth her power and smashed it aside, Gungnir immediately flying to hand, the Goddess of Fire striding forward, pointing it at Wonder Woman's throat. "Do you yield, Diana?"

"I yield." said the Amazonian, bowing.

"You fought well, Wonder Woman. Perhaps we can spar on more friendly terms when this is all over and we are at peace. Once I have taken care of Zeus, I shall return here, with your leave, and repair the damage our battle has caused. For now, we shall depart for Olympus in a few hours, and no Asgardian male shall desecrate thy soil, that I swear." Valka said, turning to retire to Skipbladnir, giving the Princess a warrior's salute. "Fare thee well, Diana."

Salis smiled as the girl put out her hand. Her armor wouldn't be nearly as effective in the arena, and he was confident he could beat her. Quickly shaking her hand, cocky smile still in place, Salis moved towards the arena. As he entered, he saw two men exit. Both seemed troubled, but since he didn't recognize either he paid them no mind. As he walked in the rules were explained. Nothing that would destroy the building, nothing too far beyond knives and guns in how much it hurt someone. Already knowing this, Salis was not put off guard. He simply stood there at the ready, waiting for her to make the first move.

Jenny shook her head. This would be an easy lesson. She listened to the rules. "I can't use my heat vision or ice breath," Jenny thought, "but I don't need them anyway." She whipped out her Riddle Cane, in honor of her "parent." Her opponent didn't move. Obviously he was going to let her move first. Simple enough. She stared at him, creating the illusion that she was running toward him and slipped. If he fell for her trick, she would give him a shock. Hopefully that would be enough to win the match and avenge the Riddler as well as give her a protector from Shield and Hydra and their people.

Salis frowned as the girl flopped to the floor in front of him. She knew her way around guns, armor, and swords, yet she slips and falls before the fight even begins? It was bullshit that he could smell from a mile away. The girl was obviously faking and expecting him to get close so she could stab him with some sort of knife she was hiding under her prone figure. He wouldn't be taken down that easily. Pulling his guns, Salis fired three shot's into her head, expecting it to end the fight then and there. Instead they simply went through, the figure shimmering slightly as the bullets passed. Realization dawned on him as he saw it was some sort of hologram or illusion. Salis looked up frantically to find the girl standing where she had been at the start.

Sneaky little thing, huh? he thought, Playtime's over. Opening a portal on the ground, Salis jumped through to appear directly above his target. Aiming to land on her shoulders, Salis pulled his knife and prepared to stab into her throat.

She looked blankly for a second, with nothing but despair in her eyes.

Then her eyes lit up. Like someone had put a lit flame to gasoline they lit up brightly.

Hiroshi:

Why?

All he did was try. All he could do was try. That's all he ever did, and somehow everything would work itself out. But they never did. Even when he put everything he ha into his efforts, everything always fell apart. He should be able to protect the ones he loved, he should've been able to save her! The one person that always pushed him forward, that left him hopeful that something would always be alright, was gone. And all that was left in Hiroshi's chest was an empty void, a swirling pool of sadness and despair.

Al that he could think of was the face of his child, the one thing he loved more than anything else, as she died in that Monsters arms, the smile she'd given him. She'd believed in him, and hoped he was coming to save her. And he failed. This couldn't be happening. Not on the same day he was wished back to life. It was impossible to believe it had all happened. It was impossible... He was never fast enough, strong enough, smart enough. He was the first Saiyan to achieve this level of power in a thousand years, he was an Ascended Saiyan, the pinnacle of Saiyan power, yet, It wasn't enough.

He'd failed Tomia, he'd sworn to protect her and achieved unparalleled levels of power to do so, yet it was never enough, he couldn't save her. He failed Tomia, his Mother, Oniyo and the entire Namekian race because he wasn't strong enough. Shakily looking at Claudia, he realized he'd failed her too, He'd sworn he loved her yet had allowed her to fight this beast, and had left her alone to handle Tomia. He never gave up hope, but what did that do for Tomia?

What had it done for his Mother? Or Ariel?

What had it ever done for him in his life? How much time had he wasted training? Could he have been a better father? Struggling to stand, Hiroshi wondered what Claudia would be like if they'd never met.

Uncontrollably, tears streamed down Hiroshi's face, his knees giving out as he fell, his eyes locked on the body of a little girl who thought she could swoop in and save the day as he had, a little girl who deserved better then him.

Sobs racked his body as he stared. Why wouldn't she just get up? Why was she hanging there in that monsters grip? The right side of her face was mangled, her eye crushed, the socket a bleeding mess. Ariel would be so mad. Maybe he could get her a sensu and everything would be okay...

But Ariel hated him.

And his daughter was dead.

"T-Tomia." Hiroshi choked, even the name shaking him to the core.

"NO!" Claudia screamed, the sudden wave of force sending Hiroshi sprawling. Everything was to surreal, but Hiroshi understood what was happening, the second wave forcing Hiroshi to raise his power. It was the same power he witnessed against Garlic, an incredible power born of godly rage. Looking over to Broly, he felt his grief and self loathing transform into something greater.

This bastard was just standing there, laughing. He was laughing that he killed his daughter.

Summoning his remaining power, Hiroshi shook with fury, fire flooding his veins, golden energy flickering around him violently. Even if he couldn't defeat this thing, he was going to get his daughter back.

" Well, you two are angry, Perhaps you wont be so disappointing this time!"

It wasn't Hiroshi who struck him, it was a red blur, strikes hammering into his form like a jackhammer. Energy pulsed off of Claudia, as if he was exerting the power of the sun. It wasn't him who would avenge his daughter, it was a girl who wouldn't know him if he didn't have PTSD. A girl who he was in love with, yet he didn't know if she shared the feelings.

For the first time since his transformation, Hiroshi saw pain burst across the beasts features. It was so shocking Hiroshi almost missed his chance, Steeling himself, he rocketed from his position, the earth cratering beneath him.

Flipping around the giant, Hiroshi cracked his knuckles across the Beasts jaw, blood and saliva mixing as they Super Saiyan stumbled. Sliding beneath a flailing fist, he grasped his daughters dogi, bursting off in a blur of motion, clutching the mangled body of a 5 year old.

There was another massive thunderclap behind him. And this time it wasn't Claudia striking the Giant.

Rage returned openly to Hiroshi's features as he set his daughter down, a familiar golden fire burning to life around him. So much of his hate had already been tapped in too. And there wasn't enough stamina left in him to release his power fully. The air around him sizzled with power, Hiroshi steadying himself as the beast approached.

The look of pure ragehad returned to Broly as well, the Monster taking several deep furious breaths.

" No one strikes me."

" And I'm sure no one lives to tell the tale either! Get on with it you son of a bitch! I'm still standing!"

The strike came so quickly, Hiroshi couldn't follow it. It was so incredibly powerful, even as it cracked across his jaw, that the impact resonated through his frame. Sparks of Super Saiyan energy bled off of him as his body lifted into the air, before falling backwards. His body barely traveled any distance before a meaty fist gripped his ankle. Immediately, his body snapped like a whip, the force of the blow traveling through his upper body.

Then he experienced real agony.

Pulled violently backwards, Hiroshi was impaled on Broly's knee, back first. His entire being blistered in pain, and his legs went numb within seconds. Something severed with the impact, and only for a moment could he fill the sharp pain within his back, just above where the knee landed. A pained grasp barely left his lips before a fist doubled him over, an elbow colliding with his head as he was slammed into the ground. Ribs broke and splintered under the force while blood spewed from his throat.

It was impossible to breath, impossible to think, and ran over the left side of his vision as Broly pulled him in close, fingers digging into the flesh of his throat.

" What a waste you are." Broly cackled as he tossed him down, raising his boot.

This was it, he was going to join his daughter.

"BROLY!"

Everything froze in time, a angered shout echoing across the landscape as Claudia sped towards them.

Get out of here! Go! Grab Tomia and Leave!

The words caught in his throat, blood vomiting past his lips, dripping off his chin and onto he torn remains of his dogi.

" Well, Bitch. Are you going to save this one?" The Monster cackled. " You're so pathetic!"

By the time Hiroshi recognized the words, the huge boot slammed down on his back, before grinding into it.

Unable to resist or hold back, Hiroshi screamed for all he was worth, despite the blood in his throat and lungs.

Quickly planting a Trojan to provide a backdoor, he receeded into the Sirus once more.

I'm done, you can cut the call, he said.

Looking to the screen in front of him, Kalaris finally responded to Arctico. "Sounds good," he said as a small smile crept onto his face, "I'm here to help."

He had fallen for her trick, but was a little more brilliant than she thought. She had run to the center of the arena before he fired. She whirled around frantically to find where he disappeared to. She then saw that where she was, was where he was jumping to. She smiled. If he was gonna play that way, she was gonna play hardball. She stared at his hand which held the knife, this time using her heat vision on it to make him drop it. She then used her ice breath on the spot he was landing, hoping that when he tried to get up, he would slip and fall.

Salis dropped the knife as his hand started to heat up to intolerable levels. Looking down as the weapon fell, he noticed that the girl had moved as he was going through his portal. His eye's grew wide as he saw her blow ice onto the ground below him. Thinking quickly, Salis created a new portal below himself and appeared directly behind the woman. Launching forward using the momentum from his fall, he aimed his feet for the small of her back in order to knock her prone.

Roy Damon
Roy had spent his last dollar of the money he stole from his adoptive father on a train ticket to New York City. He had heard a lot of stories about heroes in New York, and ad even seen a bunch if them on the news lately. That was two weeks ago. Now Roy was living on the streets. All he had to his name was his collapsible staff, a few smoke bombs and his armor. It took a lot of work and vigilance to make sure none of that was stolen while he slept.

Roy was starting to get desperate. It had been days since he had eaten, over a week since he has a good meal. His armor and clothes were dirty, as was he. On top of that his blood lusting adoptive father was coming after him for revenge and Roy was in no shape to face him at the moment. He saw a huge skyscraper on a nearby island, that had a huge JQ on it. He was sure it was some kind of corporate headquarters or maybe a bank. He had been thinking about robbing it for over a week, but his moral concious had kept telling no. Now however, it was starting to seem like his only option. He took out the cross that he kept tucked under his shirt and kissed it, begging god for forgiveness for what he was about to do. He tucked it back under his shirt and made his way toward the ferry toward the island.

He snuck in to the ferry and soon he made his way to the large tower. He almost had second thoughts but he forged on ahead and entered the building. He knew he must have looked strange. A dirty boy in a vest, but he walked up to the receptionist desk as calm as possible. When he reached it he took out one of his smoke bombs and held it against the desk. It was in no way lethal, but he was counting on he receptionist to not know that, it looked like a grenade after all. "I want all the money that's on hand in this place the valuables too. Lead me to them quietly, or I'll blow this place up." He said to her. He kept up a tough and threatening front, but inside he was remorseful and scared.

She giggled in response to his disappointment. Then went in for the real kiss. She placed her hands on his cheeks as she kissed him, their lips touching together before she moved off ever so slightly, still close to him. "That cheesy enough for you?"

"It could work. You be the nice one, I be the mean one. If it worked on TV, and for Batman, Why can't it work for us?" He asks. "I can keep things... Not blown up. He was merely an example." He was going to explain more but then Julie kissed him. "Yeah... Yeah... It was." There was never a moment in his life when he was this happy. "We should be the power couple! Screw Superman and Wonder Woman! Though I really should find a name better than Nightmare. Cause that doesn't exactly sound like a good Superhero name..."

"I suppose it could work... Still uncomfortable about killing, but alright... though I'm also quite interested in the power couple idea..." Julie replied. Then blushed. "So, you want to... Give us a try?" She asked, she smiled. She had gotten to know Nighty over the week and had to say she really liked his company. When he asked she gave thought to a name. "Well, I'm going to keep calling you Nighty..." She remarked. "I'm not sure. Shadow Knight could work because of your umbrakenisis, but it sounds a little corny..."

The woman below smiled up at the two of them as Katie traveled through the wires in the building to arrive down at the street. The woman was tall, at least eight feet tall, which made the short Katie feel even more short. She frowned self consciously. "Can we help you?"

The demon looking woman laughed and flexed her wings. She looked intimidating, yet extreemely attractive at the same time despite her more demonic features.

"I have come to challenge you "Justice Queens" to see who the real queen of the city is!" She spoke. "I, Queen Jasmine of the Daemons from the abyss, have come to claim this city-"

"Look. I know you have a whole speech prepared, but this is New York. Not Middle Earth. You can skip the fantasy stuff and just get to the point." Jasmine? wondered Katie, before she reasoned this probably wasn't the same Jasmine. Hopefully.

Then she realised this demon queen looked really familiar, and sounded pretty familiar too. Of course she was much prettier and had a melodic voice that Jasmine didn't, a lack of glasses and quite a few feet of height-

Oh dear god no... It's her.

"Very well..." Spoke the deamon queen. "I wish to fight you all."

"All of us? The others are busy. You got me and Infinity. That should be more than enough."

I don't think she's here for any of that demon crap... We're not the most well known at the moment. Then why is she here?

The deamon laughed. "You underestimate me! It will hardly be a challenge to deal with you two worms!" She then smiled Emily. "I'll make you all my slaves! And I'll have a special purpose for you Katie..."

Fuck... she knows... How does she know? Katie suddenly felt something and quickly dodged one of her minions that had been thrown at her with speeds that would make a bullet jealous.

Mindy the receptionist looked sternly at the young man. "And will you blow yourself up with us, young man. And that grenade isn't even big enough to blow this whole skyscraper up. You're no professional are you? Because no professional thief in their right mind would try and rob the world's newest superheroine team's headquarters." She looked at him, seeing the spark of desperation in his eye. "Don't worry, young man, we'll going to help you, not set the police on you. Because what I see isn't a thief, but a dirty, desperate boy. I was once a homeless, destitute, and desperate orphan, knocking door to door. Then, one day, I got lucky. A woman named Valancy opened her door, and she didn't see a dirty scumbag hobo, but a desperate girl close to my age. She took me in, gave me food, and got me connected with some loving foster parents. And we stayed as friends ever since."

Looking him in the eye, "Both Valancy and I can help you, but we can only do that if you let us, and it's a dark path you're traveling on, young man. It's up to you." she said earnestly.

Cora
Cora followed Katie down to the street where the came face to face with a very tall demon woman with wings. When she said she wanted to defeat the Justice Queens Cora frowned and got angry. "Ya? Well you don't seem that tough. We don't need the others to beat you. We can handle this ourselves." She looked over to Katie who seemed disturbed, like something about this demon was very wrong. She suddenly heard Jasmine call Katie by her real name and Cora was shocked. Did Katie know this crazy woman? "How does this freak know who you..." Cora was suddenly cut off by the monster throwing two of her small minions at Katie at incredible speeds. Cora was shocked and relieved that Katie was able to dodge them. Angry filled in Cora's mind. No one threatened her best friend, no one. "You like throwing stuff huh? Well let's see how you like this!" Cora shouted to her, raising a large energy blast and throwing it at Jasmine.

Roy
Roy was shocked at the woman at the front desk's reaction. She didn't seem fazed at all. Clearly she wasn't just a regular receptionist. It was clear that this wasn't going to work, sueprheroes live here? That was just Roy's luck. Roy was relieved when she said she wouldn't call the police. He wasn't scared of being arrested. He would be able to handle prison no problem, but if word got out of his arrest he would be a dead man. He then listened to her talk about this Valancy person, who she said had helped her too. Maybe Roy had a chance after all. "You could really help me?" He asked in shock, putting the smock bomb down. "It's not really a grenade. Itas a smoke bomb, I was just trying to scare you. I'm sorry, it's just been days since I've eaten and I'm desperate. I'm Roy, Roy Damon." He said to the woman.

The Rebel Alliances wrote:-Ralph

Max nodded with appreciation as Ralph and his friends placed the Chaos Emeralds in front of him. Such trust was admirable, even towards one he had just met, making the Mad King hold an even higher opinion of this, for lack of a better turn, rat. "I will not fail you, or Mobius, Ralph." He said, Ralph the Rat and his ally, Solar, charging forward to hold Maelstrom at bay. Max focused, though, transferring his mind from the battle at hand to the power gems that lay at his feet, causing the objects to orbit around Max at a steady velocity. Reaching deep within them, Max felt their vibrant, unorderly energies collide around within their small confines, and began to draw that energy towards himself.

A flood of chaotic energy washed over his body in a torrential downpour, but more like waves crashing into one another with such ferocity and fervor that it made the man shake where he stood, but those tremors never came, it was all contained within Max's body as the Chaos Energy merged with his own personal energy, as well as his reserves. He looked down at the palms of his hands, watching carefully as the Chaos Emeralds became almost transparent, spinning and merging into his body as a blinding light began to shine forth from his body.

The ground around Max began to fissure and throw forth steam from the inner mantle of Mobius, it's epicenter being Max, who tightened his fists and began to lower himself. He was unaware of it, but he was also screaming in a primal rage to unleash a power embedded within him. Flashes of yellow light obscured Max at certain points, massive bolts of blue lightning arcing across and slapping Max's body from the ground as the electrical smacks were heard now and again. The static in the air caused Max's hair to stand on end, the electrical impulses flowing through his scalp and indeed all around his body.

The pulsating nature of the Chaos Emeralds eventually reached a traumatic, and triumphant climax as Max stood up with all of the pent up energy of the emeralds flowing through every inch of his body, a strong yell of dominance unleashing a blast wave of yellow light. The daemon horror, Maelstrom Claus, shielded his eyes briefly, mere feet from Mad Max, the man having not noticed the fine details of the fight with Ralph and Solar, but seeing the aftermath. Max held his ground as a yellow aura flashed around him, vibrating and energetic, contained and in control, Maelstrom giving him a rather brutish look.

"Ripping off a certain series, much?" Maelstrom asked, "How about I rip your balls off and force feed them to you through your anus instead?" To which, Mad Max simply looked at Maelstrom Claus without so much as a changing emotion, drawing more of the chaos beasts' ire. "The silent treatment, huh? That's okay, I like the quiet ones the best. They're the ones you gotta watch out for, especially in bed. I'll give your rat friend props, though, even though shooting my fucking arm off was a fruitless effort," The daemon said, his stump suddenly twitching and spewing forth a brand new, able-bodied arm almost instantly, "If it's any consolation at all,"

"That hurt like hell."

A sudden clack reverberated throughout the swampy battlefield, Maelstrom swaying one way and almost falling over to the ground. Above him was Mad Max in his transformed state, a Super State of the Chaos Emeralds, a perfectly formed and thrown punch standing perfectly still where Maelstrom Claus' jawline once was. Maelstrom grabbed his jaw, only to find that it swayed unevenly, one side completely dropping down as it tore off of it's hinge. Maelstrom looked up at Max for a moment, who mouthed just four simple, easy to grasp words for the prince of chaos.

"Shut the hell up."

Daniel Carter/NightBlade-32 Yrs-Devil's Den

I ignored what Ceecee warned me about the 'disease'. As it was unimportant. What was important, is that Ceecee had agreed to aid me in my mission. Her own skills were not necessary, but useful all the same. And it would be nice to have her around, as Mia, despite her...eagerness. Is more likely to try for an autograph from the Joker rather than kill him, or the Jester for that matter. When Ceecee asked mentioned that I may have faced someone like the Joker in my own world, my mind flashed back to the first meeting with my world's Joker. A fight...that I was lucky to leave. However, that was then, and this is now. "Yeah, I have run into my world's Joker once. I may not know him as well as the Batman, but I think I can guess his style." I then relaxed slightly in my own seat. As I contemplated on how she noticed my different attire. I had explained it to Mia, but Ceecee probably knows well enough. But even so, some casual conversation in this atmosphere is never a bad thing. "The new uniform, is not so much for mourning as you may believe." I began to handle casually one of my own sub machine guns. As I began to calmly explain the new guise.

"Reporters like a story, imagine the headlines if they ever saw the Sentinel with one of these?" I asked rhetorically. However, then looking over at Mia. Seeing her previously flush face now almost in a pout.

I could not figure her out, I am not even convinced she can figure herself out. In fact, she seemed to get this way when she met Ceecee, then the lines connected.

She thought she was having a moment with Ceecee...

I placed a hand on my forehead, and it was almost obvious, even behind my mask that I was smiling.

The thought was actually quite funny, as it was plain for me to see Ceecee was, if not interested, entirely oblivious to the fan girl mode of Mia. I forced myself back on topic so that they would not question me on what I found humorous.

"So, you say you have been collecting information I believe? But you cannot find any pattern, well I can solve the missing link. If you could show me what information you have found, I am confident I can at least narrow down our search." My eyes then traced back to a large TV in the lounge, showcasing fights in the Arena. It was then that I realized that Ceecee probably had not had a good fight in a long time. Perhaps she should let off some steam before we go.

I then glanced over at Mia. Having a inward laugh. And it would be amusing to see which of us Mia would cheer for. I then presented my idea to Ceecee.

"After you show me the information, we dont have to leave immediately. Perhaps we could warm up, a battle in the Arena perhaps? I am sure Mia here would like to, see you in action." I dropped, trying to see if Ceecee would pick up on what is going on inside Mia's head.

I finally stood up and stretched. Looking down at the two.

"So, I assume we have a deal?"
