With the battle having ended in such a short time thanks to her intervention, the black dragon allowed herself to return to her previous form. Another flicker of her form, another bright flash of light, and instead of the massive fire dragon that dominated the horizon and the skyline of Mars, there was the elegant, graceful, scarlet-eyed crimson lady. She gently floated down to the ground, landing amidst the three warriors who had fought Cellnemba alongside her, raising a thin layer of dust as her feet touched the ground, her cape and coat fluttering majestically behind her. If one were to look at her, they would notice her completely composed, not a single blonde hair out of place, the golden crown still upon her head.
"Creatures, hear my words." She proclaimed, her voice clear over the landscape. "I, Adrianne of Hadrimmelis, have granted you a fraction of the power of the World-Dragons. I will let you keep it, for now. But bear in mind that may revoke it at any given moment, should you ever misuse it. Oh, and rest assured, I will know if you abuse the power I have granted you, as you will be connected to me for as long as you bear such power." The lady in red explained, her warning loud and clear, though she spoke with no animosity towards these creatures, seeing no inherent evil in them.
"Now then," She said afterwards, her voice changing from regal and solemn to a more casual one. "I don't believe I have your names."

Tina shrunk down, placing the earth back where she had got it. She also made sure to repair any craters or damage to mars itself. "Tina. Archon of Earth." Tina spoke. Extending a friendly hand. "Though, I don't really need these powers... So do you mind taking the ones you've given." She replied. "Nothing personal and it's not that I'm ungrateful. They're very nice powers. I just don't want to know what everyone is thinking for one. Especially as I tend to have trouble forgetting things and I don't want to see something I can't unsee."

The Republic of Atria wrote:"Huh. I guess that's true." Naja said. "I'm not that smart. I'm really new to this whole... Thing. I'm still wrapping my head around most of this. Things are moving fast. Not even two days ago Alex and I just started actually spending time together, and now everything is going to die."
"I can manipulate matter when I... I dont' have a name, I use Nightmare's body and coat myself with it. Waller said we're two halves of a whole." Despite that, Alex still saw them as different. "I could help with the resources after we get through the storm." Alex said. "And if we have to take people with us that require oxygen or food or water or whatever, I can take care of that."
"Great. The Phoenix has the same potential, but teaching Talak how to do that could take some time. Both of you are coming. Your wife too. Hell, if this works out, we could restart the universe and be gods. I mean me and Darkseid already are gods... But like actual gods. I'm scared, but at the same time, I'm curious. The only known survivor of an event like this is Galactus. He was powerless before what happened to him. What could happen to us... I have no idea. There are literally limitless possibilities."
"It's good to know that you're not going into this scared out of your mind." Alex said. Yes, he was afraid, but Killian had a point. There was no telling what was going to happen when they did this. They could die, the most commonly thought answer, but when he began to think about it, Killian was right, there were so many things that could happen. "Let's hope it's something good. Hell, even there just being nothing could work. We could restart reality by ourselves. That could be fun."

He concentrated deeply, manifesting a large sphere on a rope of white spectral mist. With effort he swung it around, sending the crudely fashioned wrecking ball in its direction.Making sure to stay away from the creature as it flew in circles around her, swooping lower and lower each time, Garnet took aim and attempted to fire into the monster's glowing vermilion eyes, the only potential weak point that she could see in the creature's grey hide. However, despite its enormous size, it was much too fast for her to aim properly, and every time she fired, the teeth shot forth from Misery hit the beast's stone scales instead, deflected, failing to cause any damage to it. Cursing, Garnet backed away further still, waiting five seconds for the mystic gun to reload itself.
It was about that time that she noticed that there was another person there, aside from herself and the Outworlder. Turning around in alarm, she looked at him, noticing the runes along his arms and deducing that he was some sort of magic user. She had never really believed much in magic, but ever since she had wound up wielding a magic pistol that seemed to destroy people's souls, she was a lot more inclined to believe in things like that. Hearing him offer his assistance in the battle, however, she figured that he wasn't an enemy, at least for the time being, and nodded to him. "A hand would be nice right now." She said, and then frowned slightly. "Figuratively, I mean. Don't go around tearing your hand and turning it into cash." She added as an afterthought, opting to clarify that in order to avoid having to witness another instance of biological shapeshifting like with the Outworlder.
Before she could say anything else, she heard a loud shriek and looked up, noticing that the white wrecking ball had managed to hit the beast, sending it tumbling to the ground with a loud crash that send tremors through the ground. Seeing a golden opportunity, Garnet summoned the powers of her artifacts once again. Her left hand began glowing purple and crimson simultaneously, as she harnessed the powers of both Agony and Despair. Just when the monster was getting back up from the ground, the ethereal, skeletal purple hand shot forth from her bracelet and latched onto the beast, pulling her towards the creature with great force. Flying towards it, she retracted her left arm, and then, at just the right moment, she released a brutal attack, a burst of red light exploding outwards as her gauntleted fist impacted the beast's wing, shattering it with a series of sickening cracking noises.
The beast howled in pain, the noise tearing through the air and causing the entire dome to rumble. Now in a state of pure rage, it turned to crush Garnet, but she raised Agony just in time to block the attack. Even then, the monster continued pushing, and it was only a matter of time before she would crumble under the pressure, despite Agony's power. Thus, she used Longing's power this time around, opening a portal beneath her and another on the ground behind the monster. In an instant, she flew up through the second portal and sent out Despair's skeletal hand in order to drag herself back to where Stanley and the Outworlder were.
Roaring, the beast took a mighty leap into the air, aided by its sole wing, and threatened to crush them all into a bloody pulp.
"Guys? I think I pissed it off." She stated.

The skin on her neck crawled and her hairs stood on end as Val heard the sickening voice of someone behind her. Meekly, she turned, expecting to find a grotesque monster who recently escaped from the sewers, but instead found a scantily clad bitchcunt who looked even shorter than Val herself. Her face twisted into a laughing smirk at first as she turned to face Virgil, but slowly, this girl's words become more and more venomous, Val's smile fading fast and turning into an angered frown. "What the hell do you want with Max?" She asked callously, "You seem like his type of girl." She spat further, looking her up and down in a heavily judgemental manner.
"I don't think you have what it takes to kill a cockroach, slut." Val continued, trying to appear tough, but her facade fooling no one in particular. "If anyone's weak, it's you." For some reason that Val couldn't shake, this girl seemed familiar, like that Val has seen her face or something some time ago. She tried to remember, narrowing her eyes at the woman, prompting her to jog Val's memory. "What's your name, anyways?" Val reckoned if she could match a face to a name, she could remember how she knows this person, because the way it looks, Virgil definitely knows Max, and surely knows Val, too.

There were many other reasons she would be concerned about her appearance, some to do with her background and others for... other reasons. She sighed and rolled her eyes. At least she was "fine" which was... disappointing, but still a small victory. "Well, what are you going to do now? What are you going to do with me now?"
Vladkaht sighed. He was growin increasinly skeptical of his motives for bringing her here as she spoke, continuing about in a childish manner. "You are going to our holding cells. I'm not to keen on allowing you to run amok around my people. These soldiers here will take you..."
The ground suddenly shook under their feet, and a colossal force impacted with an earth splitting crash. There was a deep vibrational humming in the air as a dark and ancient chattering filled the ears of all within the underground world of Ishka'ali. The spirits overhead whisked back and forth irritably as stalactites fell from the ceiling, splintering upon the ground below. Then, just as quickly as it started, the shaking stopped. Vladkaht looked around in confusion for a moment, then put a hand to his ear. "Get me a report on the state of order on every sector. Can someone tell me what in Mirzas just happened?"
A voice crackled to life on the other end as his earpiece seemed to struggle to gain signal. "My lord, there has been a disruption in the warping field in the southeastern region, near the very edge of the seventh industrial district. We don't know what it is, your grace, but it nearly caused a collapse in the primary wall. The Elemental core is straining to hold it back at t's current energy levels."
"Is the core damaged?" Vladkaht shot back, deeply concerned about the state of the core. It was the heart of their civilization, and it needed to be protected.
"No, sir. We will increase energy output if you wish."
"Reinforce the wall, then wait for further instruction. Do everything you can to keep it from collapsing. I'll be right there." Vladkaht looked to Felix, who had an expression of uncertainty on his face. "What could possibly be strong enough to damage the wall?! It's not..."
"Nothing." Vladkaht scowled wryly. "Nothing can." He began running down the pathway, then caught himself. He looked over at Grixia, then rolled his eyes. "Well, change of plans. Seems the area we were going to hold you is under attack, so unless you want us to lock you up there,". He gestured with his hands, and the chains began to undo themselves to he point to where only her hands and arms were bound behind her back. "Walk."
He ran down the walkway and rounded the corner. There was a floating platform of metal on the end of the path now where the walkway dropped off into nothingness. He jumped on along with Felix and Grixia, and it began to float on across the open expans at a rapid pace, storm spirits creating a fog around it as they moved it along.

This wasn't merely a disabilty. No this was as if part of her had been torn out. The part that she used the most. The part she valued the most. The part she couldn't do without. "Finally..." Grixia spoke, Deathfrost humming in her hand as she waved it. She briefly considered slashing through him with this blade, but decided against it. She was not as consumed by hatred as she had been before. Now was curiosity and a little bit of anxiousness. She sighed as she leaned on it slightly, impatiently drumming her fingers on the hilt of the blade.
"So. Anything else you can tell me about this black hole guy?" she asked.
