On the contrary, I can see as sexism towards dudes that new lame-ass fashion that hears in the name man-bags. Wtf. Men don't need handbags, just more pockets.

I can't see myself carrying a laptop in a pocket. Or the up to 20 notebooks I need in a day. And a bunch of books. And having your arms occupied makes it inconvenient when walking with your special someone because then you can't put your arm around her. (And therefore make her happier, in the case of she and I)

Yeah, I've observed this effort, as most of my friends are female, they have to do stuff like double-layering and wearing hoodies because the lack of modest clothing on the market.

This drives my girlfriend crazy as well.

I'd say just don't buy them, choose another retailer or make your own, or learn how to if you're like me and don't know how to spin thread.

Very large amounts of money talks. What one woman has in her purse(or tiny jeans pockets, or bra) mumbles at a concert.

women in large numbers can cause a hell of a ruckus(like cackling harpies except this is more legit). get enough of them behind it and let's see what happens.

If I were in a position to organise large numbers of women like that I'd probably do something else with them. Flash mob, maybe.

Granted, the bigger frustration (for me, anyway) is the tiny-ass pockets we get stuck with. Like, I have jeans with pockets that can't fit a few bills reliably, despite being a person who will shop for a while in an attempt to get pants with pockets. Sometimes they just don't exist.

True.
as for see through, I don't see much here, but then again I live in Canada...Iced over for 1/3 of the year. The only really gender based clothing I see that kind of bugs me is most Women's jackets have Fur, While mens has Wool or Cotton...

I agree. For NORMAL clothes the discrepency is minimal. Of course for the hippie filled area I live many people simply remake clothes or buy them from specialty shops. Its not really sexist at all.

For you females I give you all my feels. Some of my lady friends have purses that weigh 20lbs full off stuff they need to carry. I honestly dont understand why womens clothes have such small pockets

Eh. If people payed less, then the manufacturers would have to charge less, simple economics. Then again, I'm a decadent American male that buys all most of his clothes at the military surplus store or at smaller retailers. Smaller retailers and off brand stuff generally strikes a good balance between cost and durability, so that's where I'd look if you want cheaper stuff, or just buy smaller men's clothes. If you can sew then you can basically do whatever you want. I

Don't belts compensate?

1. Get clothes, bring to tailor to have altered.
2. Get a sewing machine, learn to make your own custom fitted clothes.

Perhaps it's just me but even with mass produced clothing, you can, with the proper accessories and with your own personal style, create outfits that are highly personalized.

Rain coats? You'd heat up so fast in a waterproof shirt and unlike a rain coat, you can't take it off to cool down if you aren't wearing anything underneath. Well you can, but most wouldn't.

Basically this. Putting a tuck in your pants or taking the cuffs up is something that anybody could do, even without a sewing machine.

Women's underwear can be like tissue. It does not hold up in the wash. I have no idea why this is true. I think the best and most durable line is Jockey for Her.

The fact that they have to have allowances for the larger chest area. At least dress shirts tend to be.

They're not made of more pieces. There's typically a bit of darting, but that's additional stitches, not additional pieces.

Women's clothing also tends to be much smaller than men's clothing since women are generally smaller than men.

Since when? My partner and I bought jeans at the same place in December and we paid the same, despite his jeans using a hell of a lot more fabric than mine.

Considering that men's clothes are always thick enough not to be see through, if I was a girl and being my modest self I'd want to sue the industry for sexism

Doesn't this imply that women prefer the thinner clothes and that men prefer the thicker clothes, then?

Granted, sometimes clothes aren't purchased by the same sex as the wearer, but I would think even then the complaints of the wearer would eventually feed back into the effects on consumer demand.

My underwear is generally fine. It wears out after several years, but that's sort of what happens.
