That was what his minions were guilty of. All they had to do was stall that Saiyan for ten, perhaps fifteen minutes. They'd barely made a dent in the time. The demons sent after that Claudia girl, and that human with a gun, were do to arrive shortly. The two lesser enemies were trying to conceal their energies, but he could most certainly detect the raging animal coming there for him. Hiroshi's power was glowing like a bright beacon, telling the whole of the world that he was on his way there.

As Claudia walked into the castle, she was greeted with the faces of two demons. She frowned slightly as she saw their ugly faces. They smiled, she knew she was weaker than them, and they knew she was weaker than them. She paused, watching the two demons stare at her.

"You're in my way." She spoke.

The demon's eyes lit up and they laughed, howling and mocking laughter. They taunted her as they did so. "How pathetic are you! You're barely worth our time girlie. What are you sixteen?" Predictably they didn't seem to noticed the massive ball of fire which had been launched towards them. They howled in pain as their flesh was scortched by the extreme heat. Angry, they now looked at her again.

You see, what Claudia lacked in power she made up for in intensity of her fire. She could go hotter, very hot. It all depended on her mood, and right now she was livid.

"Seventeen actually." She replied. "Feel like moving now?" She faked confidence, really kind of crapping herself internally.

Vinagar smiled, telling Mustard to leave this to him. "It's my turn after all..." He spoke.

Claudia charged up some heat, focusing anger and rage. Frustration and hate targeted at him. She didn't get time to release it as she suddenly found herself flying into a wall at high speeds. Though not high enough to kill her, only break a few bones. Vinegar aparantly wanted to have some fun with this human girl...

"Still feeling cocky human girl?" He asked. Claudia gritted her teeth as she got up. She felt pain going through her, bones snapped and body parts hurt. She chocked out a scream. She sat there for a moment, in pain. She was tempted to give up, but she heard the fight between Hiroshi and Garlic, and knew she needed to get there. She needed to help him.

She got up, Vinegar in front of her and smiling. She stood in front of him defiantly. They locked eyes as the air grew in tempreture to the point where Claudia's outfit nearly combusted, but she suddenly felt her face sting with a slap she had not seen coming. She whimpered, before catching herself and sending a blast of blue flame at the demons feet. He howled in pain as he tried to put out the fire. Claudia meanwhile fell foward slightly.

"Bitch!" he shouted, another kick, another broken bone. A rib this time. Claudia was crying now. Tears streamed from her eyes as the pain was becomign too much to bear. She was then slapped around again, and again, this time softer but more like someone juggling a ragdoll. She still felt pain each time. Her tears now stained his hand as she felt herself be thrown around.

Another wall she crashed into. Her body broken and electric with pain as she looked up. She wanted to pass out, but she knew she couldn't. The pain wasn't great enough and she had just enough will to resist doing so. She groaned, bones broken and broken feelings. She thought she could stand a chance. She thought she could hurt him. She thought.

"Hah. Pathetic." He said. "Shame to destroy such a pretty little thing. You should have just bent over little girl..."

Then. Claudia Snapped. Completely and utterly. Clarity born of anger found her. The voice focused her. Pain disappeared. Fear melted away and shame ran and hid. Anger came. Red hot burning wrath. The firery rage of a thousands suns. Anger enough to spark something in her. Frustration at herself, rage at her helplessness and wrath at everything and everyone pouring into her conscious and focused on one thing. The desire to show the demon the pain she now felt. There was nothing righteous about this rage, other than it's sheer pure intensity. Vinegar knew not what he started, but he would soon feel it's effects.

She stood up. Tears evaporated. Even the rock under her started to glow white hot. Her hands were curled into fists. "Claudia..."

"Girly... do you ever learn? You're not going to win-"

Then she screamed. A pure scream of guttural rage and pain. So overwhelming and extreme even the demon found himself backing off. Pain which dwarfed that she felt before, but she welcomed it. She needed it. It felt good as it poured into her. Suddenly her limbs began to thicken, her height growing and her ruined clothes shredding. Her body was on fire, both metaphorically and literally. Her body grew red, and her strength multiplied greatly. She stood slightly taller than the demon, her wounds repaired and her body fixed. Better than fixed. Improved

"Wh-" He spoke, but not before a fist slammed into his face. He then felt the sudden weight of a tall red female juggernaught of rage jumping onto him.

"Claudia..." She spoke, then laughed. A bitter angry laugh of someone who had just gained the upper hand against a hated foe. She felt the power and welcomed it, sensing it grow with her rage. She bellowed out a primal call of rage. "Claudia SMASH!" She shouted, before slamming fists down onto the demon, ensorcelled by fire and wrath.

He's not joking about being fast, that's for certain." Alex said. "I don't know how to catch him." Alex said flat out. He's seen fast people before, but Speed Demon was on another level.

Don't worry about him. Speedy's killed Zuum once, I'm sure he can do it again. I've got something more interesting for everyone else. He's Big! He's mean! He nearly killed Superman like... several times! Let's give a round of applause, FOR DOOMSDAY! The voice said making his voice sound like that of a stereotypical sports announcer. And as he finished, the ground beneath their feet began to rumble and some parts began to collapse, as the massive gray monster ripped through the surface, pissed off and bloodthirsty. He looks mad. Can't imagine why. This should be fun!

Kilian and Zuum were fighting all across the globe, throwing punch after punch, attempting to grab one another, it would be quite violent if anyone without enhanced senses could actually see more than two bolts of blue and red lightning trying to kill eachother.

Peter Bennett's eyes went wide as the creature burst through the ground. He watched as it attacked Artico and Asumar viciously, jumping in to help if possible. Doomsday simply grabbed the puny human, laughing evilly. That's when the pair began to glow at every spot they touched. Peter had just been given a DNA sample of the monster, and forced Doomsday's grip open.

Peter's eyes were wild, almost as though he had went feral. He flew towards Doomsday, delivering a punch that sent him flying through numerous buildings. Peter flew after him, continuing to punch with all the strength of the monster himself.

Outworlder had decided that waiting around was no longer the best option. From what was being said this was the creature who killed the being known as superman, which was reaffirmed by the database he had copied from the earths internet onto his brain. That made him quite dangerous to say the least. Not only that, but it seemed that a replicator of some sort had made himself into another mindless beast. Typical. It was not always smart to replicate, and any able to have anything similar usually completely disregard the dangers it might entail. He dashed down toward the ground, placing himself in the way of a small group of passerby. He morphed himself into a metal wall around them, deflecting debris as it flew from a building.

Hovering over the wreckage, the creature decided that his best function was that of support. He would provide a distraction for the wild hero( he seemed to have at least a vague impression of wanting to protect the city), tiring the original doomsday. He morphed in between the two, latching on to doomsdays hand from behind. He wrapped him in tendrils of flesh and stone, trying to restrain him long enough for a blow to be landed. Doomsday writhed and growled with anger, and flung the creature off of his back.

Outworlder began weaving in between his blows, easily dodging the rage controlled creature. A single rope of flesh slipped and turned in between gaps in his defenses, bouncing off of him, delivering blow after blow without a single return connecting. Deflecting off of an attempted strike, Outworlder leapt into the air, flinging a mass of mucus onto his face. This slime suddenly hardened into metal, encasing his head in a sphere.

Doomsday clawed at the mask, and in the moments it took for him to rip through it Outworlder placed telekinetic and biological defenses over his DNA, being sure to make the replicator have a large amount of difficulty with copying his powers. Doomsday roared in his direction, and suddenly a blast of lightning shot from his chest. Outworlder morphed around the blast to dodge the attack, calculating with the mind of a hundred supercomputers on how to defeat his opponent.

"You are quite the unsavory character aren't you?" He dove to dodge another incoming blast, then readied his hand into a giant mace like appendage that slammed into Doomsday and knocked him back a few meters. He morphed into multiple identical selves, each linked to one interfacing mind. Doomsday electrocuted one with a bolt of lightning, reducing it to ash. The rest began charging towards him and dodging his attacks.[/quote]

Peter watched as this being attacked Doomsday, rage filling him. This was HIS battle, HIS victory. The Doomsday-ed Peter flew full force, barreling through the Outworlder's copies and grabbing Doomsday, punching with such force that his hand pierced Doomsday's skin. The replicator pulled with all his might, intent on ripping the creature in two.

Siliarba wrote:CeeCee and DeeDee

As Vision X had phased through the floor CeeCee began her search for anything on the base level. The things she found were mainly spots of dried up blood, scratches and other kinds off damage done to the floors, walls and everything else. Basically a lot of proof fights happened here, but that was nothing new so it didn't really help much at first. They made clean house off this floor it seemed, but Vision X probably would have a better chance of finding things as hidden areas probably don't stay hidden long for him.

CeeCee put her suit to scan everything near her and walked by slowly when DeeDee started talking. "Finally alone again, so annoying to just sit there and watch you be miss military."
CeeCee let out a small grunt before replying "Just like it's frustrating for me to watch you play miss psychopath, just let me focus on my job, ok?"
"But your job is so damn boring and you're so caught up in the job you didn't even realize how hot that Batgirl was, we should ask her out next time."
"Not the time, not the place DeeDee, besides, not wile I'm working on a mission."
DeeDee sighed "You're always on a mission, do you realize you haven't been on a date since you started wearing that suit."
"Some off us are trying to fix the world DeeDee, that's something you have to dedicate all the time you have to if you want to even notice you're having any effect at all."
"Whatever, when it's my turn to be in control I'll show you how to loosen up a bit, see if I can't find that Batgirl."
"You know the deal we have DeeDee, you can't just ..."
DeeDee cut CeeCee off mid sentence here "Oh don't worry, I'm not going to interfere with your precious work, as we agreed, not even going to let on we have a connection, I'm just going to find her and flirt with her."
CeeCee let out an aggravated grunt "You're impossible to reason with you know that? Do whatever you want when it's your turn, but for now let me focus on my job as it isn't progressing one bit as is."

It wasn't long before Vision X had found what they were looking for. Under the warehouse was what appeared to be a large, abandoned council room, owl paraphernalia everywhere. Vision X looked up, sending blasts of energy from his eyes to create a hole for CeeCee to enter. He figured the blasts would continue on through the roof of the warehouse, but knew there was nothing he could do about that.

Vladkaht felt the destruction of his life force, of his flesh, and of his very mind. His flesh began to bubble and twitch, slowly dissolving underneath the wave of destruction. His face ripped away from his body upon impact, revealing the grinning skull underneath, and then quickly reformed overtop. Blood and guts spewed off of his body and healed just as fast. The pain was that of utter torment, of destruction more powerful than any mere wound could inflict. He fought back against the attack on his mind, trying to grab hold of the energy before it could be stolen.

He struggled under the devastation the spell wrought, but did not falter. He uttered the cast that he had learned as a child, the first he had learned. With a pulse Vladkaht teleported behind his foe. He summoned a noose of primal energy around her neck, and lifted her into the air. "You shall suffer ". Vladkaht channeled all of his energy into her, using her own drain spell as an augmentation of his attack. "Can you feel it? The primal forces ripping you apart? This power I wield is not something you can take! It's something that chooses you! "

His lips vibrated once again, and from his spare hand a huge torrent of flame engulfed the witch in seconds. The fire was more than just meager flame, but a supernatural force that burned any material. It would burn on and in until there was nothing left to burn, or Vladkaht himself willed it to stop. He dropped her to the ground. His face continued to shift underneath her spell, but slowed over time, allowing his sadistic smile to be clearly visible. Arcs of primal energy struck her once more, adding to the heat that caused the asphalt to sizzle and catch fire. "This pain you feel is unending. You cannot stop it. Only I can. Beg for mercy, and I may alleviate your torment."

Fortunately, Grixia had teleported away from the flame. He had no way to stop her from doing so, but she was in pain. She gritted her teeth, angry and frustrated and ashamed. She got up, coughing slightly. “Oh. I’ll take it. I’ll take that and more. I’ll take everything from you I’ll take until you have nothing left.” She swore. “But not now…” She muttered. She knew she could not stand up to him any longer. She didn’t have the endurance to continue the fight, but she knew ways to fix that. They would just require a little sacrifice she wasn’t willing to make… till now. She had found a resolve to end this Vladkaht.

“Mark my words. I know of torments that you can scarcely imagine, pain you cannot even comprehend. I will make you suffer beyond anything thought possible! I will return, and I will strip you of your pride, your mind and your very soul!” She shouted. And with that, she disappeared.

Vladkaht looked to the spot from where his foe had disappeared. He sighed, thinking back to his horrible past. "That was done a long time ago." He said to no one in particular. He stood there for a moment in silence, thinking deeply. The giant magma golem lumbered over to him, a peice of rotting flesh falling off of its shoulder before burning to a crisp. It scratched it's head dumbly, then looked to Vladkaht with a grunt. "Yes, you did great, golem." He looked around at the destruction that had been created, and he heard fire engines approaching in the distance. "We really do need to be getting back. Entertaining as this little escapade was, I really do have much more work to do. " Vladkaht turned to the giant and placed his hand on the small spherical amulet in his chest. A soft groan came from the creature as it eyes the amulet. "You will be fine. It is only for a little while anyway. You don't want me leaving you here do you?" A series of grunts and whines accompanied a cracking like the top of a mountain breaking. "No I'm im not carrying you the whole way! Look, how about when we get back I can get you some nice obsidian to snack on, huh? Then will you stop whining?" He golem nodded, and Vladkaht activated the amulet, causing the creature to be sucked inside for storage. He was almost exceeding the limit of storage but he really did not feel like leaving it here to the elements. As a few emergency vehicles pulled up to the spot, Vladkaht rose to the air on the Winds of Skaeola, flashing off into the distance.

CeeCee jumped back a bit when she saw a beam tear through the floor and roof. She took her guns out and slammed a button on her right leg causing a small compartment to open and light up. CeeCee jumped down the hole using the rocket boosters to slow her fall and once she arrived she took a combat position holding her guns ready in case she needed them. When she noticed only Vision X being here with what looked like items that were owned by the Owl. CeeCee stood fully upright, put her guns away and moved her finger over her leg causing a pattern to light up and the compartment that had opened closed again.

"For someone programmed with brilliant minds the idea never came up that you could've contacted me you we're going to blow a hole in the building before doing it? I was expecting enemy resistance. In any case, seems like Batgirl was right to send us here."

A Chance Meeting: Two Titans Working Together
Lord Arctico & Asumar Masaki vs Doomsday

Asumar and Arctico had just finished unleashing a massive Energy Volley Attack on Doomsday, yet they still continued bombarding the entity with as much energy as they had, it could be seen that both Asumar and Arctico had sustained injuries due in part from Doomsday's previous attacks on the former and latter "Keep bombarding that monstrosity with as much energy as you have!" Asumar shouted as he increased the speed of his attack, causing Arctico to also increase the speed "What does it look like I'm doing, It's not like I'm twiddling my fucking fingers here!" Arctico retorted angrily, ceasing his attack as he loaded a massive Energy Beam onto his now cupped hands "Haaa!!!!" Arctico yelled as he fired the energy beam.

However, fate would not be that kind, Doomsday let out an animalistic roar as he took off running directly towards the beam, eventually becoming enveloped within the beam, yet he did not dissipate from the energy, as a matter of fact, he continued running towards the two combatants as if the beam was nothing more than a small candle "Dammit all!" Arctico yelled before both he and Asumar were given a bone breaking punch in the stomach by Doomsday, causing the both of them to cough up blood and be thrown back towards a large group of trees, the force of the punch being too powerful for the both of them to neither guard or defend against such an attack.

The resulting attack had caused Arctico to be automatically knocked out, his power fading to a passive level, while Asumar who happened to still be conscious was in a very bad shape, he felt that multiple ribs within his body had been broken and that he was bleeding moderately from his mouth, one of his eyes shut closed. Asumar could see that Doomsday was approaching him, seemingly to finish off the job, Asumar then slowly stood up, a sadistic chuckle on his face as he allowed his energy to flow yet again "Do you really think that a couple of broken ribs will stop me you monster?" Asumar laughed, staring at Doomsday with an intense gaze in his eyes, who still continued approaching Asumar "I am Asumar Masaki, these simple injuries will not hurt me!" Asumar taunted.

Doomsday let out a low growl, taking off running towards the injured Warlord, intent on finishing his job to kill, but before he could even approach Asumar, he saw a flash of fire that sent him flying backwards and away from Asumar "Dad -" The small person began, revealing it to be his young son, Ryuichi Masaki, who had happened to sense the peril that his father was in "- Try and heal yourself, I don't know how long I can fight that monster." Ryuichi said, his forehead already sweating with fear as he knew that even with his raw power, he wouldn't be much of a match for Doomsday. How right he was, Doomsday had already rebounded from the attack and lunged towards Ryuichi, sending him down into the ground before he started pummeling the daylights out of Ryuichi.

Asumar's eyes widened in horror as Doomsday proceeded to pick up Ryuichi before he threw him towards a boulder, a very animalistic expression on it's minorly bleeding face, it was obvious that Doomsday was pissed. However, the expression on Asumar's face had gone from horror to livid anger, his eyes held a glint of murderous intent for the creature known as Doomsday "Y-you..." Asumar's fist clenched up so hard that blood started to actually drip from his palm, and the anger was so great that even the Golden Lantern Ring was letting out a warning "Warning, unexpected power-up detected..." "FUCKING BASTARD!!!" Asumar screamed, his eyes turning crimson red as an ethereal cloak formed around him, his hair turning white, along with 6 Orbs composed entirely of Dark Celestial Energy forming on and around Asumar, his Celestial Transformation being realized.

Asumar had looked down for a second before he roughly and quickly looked up, his solid red eyes piercing through Doomsday "This time..." Asumar warped behind Doomsday, delivering a near planet shattering punch to Doomsday, one of which that sent him flying "... I'll make sure that you WON'T be coming back!!!" Asumar screamed as he had created clones of himself, all of which that took off after Doomsday, with Asumar leading the direct attack, his energy was running so rampant that even Kazuko woke up, quickly standing up to see Asumar attacking Doomsday without any relent, and to his further shock did he discover that there were two Master Shimuras!, both of whom had rushed to Ryuichi's aid, trying to heal the moderate internal damage that Ryuichi had suffered from Doomsday.

"What... What is that?" Alex asked floating back a bit. Whatever it was, an examination of the sword yielded very little. Alex had absolutely no idea what he was looking at.

"I may, just a little bit, went a tad overboard on my rampage. I also MAY have taken a few weapons... That one of them in their own right make yourself a cosmic force to be reckoned with." Kilian said and shrugged. "Go big or go home, that's what I always say. Dumbdumb one and two got their hands full with Doomsday. So we get... Me."

"We're going to die, aren't we?" Alex sighed. "Weaknesses. Now." Alex said as both he and Kilian shot towards the insanely powerful past version of the speedster.

"Umm... No idea. Hit him really hard?" Kilian said half joking and half serious. "It took Galactus to stop me the first time. And I actually got some good licks in during that fight." He said and ran a quick vortex around the Orange Speedster while Alex threw a punch, which to his surprise, the Orange Kilian actually caught and punched Alex with enough force that he crashed through several trees before he stopped. "By the way. I forgot to mention. The Sword gives him strength greater than Thor."

"That would have been useful information one second ago. Strategy time. You distract him, I try to get that ring off his... What's he doing?" Alex pointed as the ORange Kilian summoned a handful of constructs.

"Kill the phony me! And the Shiny one, but let me kill him! I don't have a shiny one like him yet! I haven't seen a shiny like him before. I WANT IT!" The Orange one screeched.

"Same idea in reverse!" Alex shouted and barreled through the constructs only to be backhanded by Orange Kilian. He was just as fast as he was before he went crazy. That's right freaky, just focus on me- SHIT! He put up a shield when Kilian started firing blasts from the ring at him. Hm... Not too bright. He thought as his shields began to crack with each repeated blast. Goddamn the bastard hits like a damned truck! Kilian. Now would be a good time to do something! Alex shouted inside his mind.

The real Kilian zipped around, and when Alex's shields broke and the Orange Kilian ran up to Alex only to be blindsided by a construct Kilian made of himself. "Did I ever do that? Because that is crazy." Kilian didn't remember much from when he was the Orange Lantern. All he did remember was that he had an insatiable lust for things. Anything as long as he didn't have it. Or even if he did and the other one looked shinier or something. It wasn't a good feeling. And neither was getting hit be the construct Speedster. "I am a MASSIVE prick when I have that stupid ring..."

Helen Garden/Rabbit Girl

Taking off as Etla sat down, she nodded, thinking for a minute. "Oh, I know!" she said excitedly, pushing the touchscreen panel and typing in her desired destination.

Then, turning to Etla, she listened to her next comment. "My apologies, Etla. I don't mean to patronize you or act as if you are unintelligent. That isn't my intention at all. As I don't know exactly what you do know, some of what I explain may be things already known to you, and I apologize for that. Feel free to interrupt me if I'm explaining something you already know or understand."

"Now, as to where we are going. London, the capital, or main city of the country England. London has many humans living in it. And there's lots to see. As for London's location, a large body of water called the Atlantic Ocean separates the United States of America from England. England is sort of a big island. They are ruled right now by a queen, who lives in Buckingham Palace. The English people seem to love tradition and they've got plenty of it. I'll show you some of the major sites once we land, and then we can simply walk around for as long as you like." With that, they spotted the shores of England, and Helen used the GPS to land just out of London. A short walk later, they reached the capital of London, home of her Majesty. "Welcome, Etla, to London! Now where do you want to go first? The big clock tower, the palace, or the numerous parks?" she asked, smiling brightly at her new friend.

Valka Silverhand
Valka Silverhand vs Dallen Thomsen

The two Asgardians stared down each other as both lifted themselves off the ground from where they had fallen. The claimed Asgardian who bore the hammer, it was truly Mjolnir. She had a connection to the hammer, one almost as deep as the wielder itself. But this one...when she reached out to it, it shied away. This hammer had not been created by Valka Silverhand, and yet, it was Mjolnir. And it was a powerful weapon indeed, she knew well, she would have to be weary. Her armor, sword and hand were also of Mjolnir, but she had been infused it with so much of her magic, not like Mjolnir. That would be something she had to remedy in the coming days. She considered her options, first starting by increasing the internal mass of her uru hand so that it would be able to stand up against the mighty hammer. If it had been a fake, she would have easily and without hesitation have crushed it, being the Goddess of Metal, but this version of Mjolnir was outside of her domain, along with the armor of the wielder.

And then, she looked up, the claimed Asgardian doing the same. It appeared that they had both been forming strategies, and now, both had concluded. Valka started her counterattack, conjuring up a flaming metal ball, and lobbing it at Dallen, who smashed it away with Mjolnir, and then charged, sweeping Mjolnir low and also throwing a mighty punch with his left hand. Believing the hammer to be the greater threat, she leaped up, but Dallen's punch nailed her in the stomach, sending her a few feet back. While she was right, Mjolnir was the greater strength, but this Asgardian from an alternate Asgard packed quite the punch. It was nothing she couldn't handle, but repeated punches were going to hurt. Then, coming up from the ground, she beheld Dallen leaping at her, about to slam Mjolnir down. It was then, she realized, it was time to stop thinking, and simply fight. Throwing herself in a backflip, avoiding the blast perimeter, she shot a tensile of metal onto the hammer's handle, and pulled with all her might. Dallen did the same, and for a while, the two put their muscles to the task of wrenching the hammer from the other. It had just started to move slightly in her direction when Dallen summoned a lightning bolt, forcing her to to relinquish her grip, forming a ball of uru around herself to shield her from the blast. Several more bolts followed, absorbed by the uru metal, and Valka retracted the shield, and leapt at Dallen, forming a sword with her hand, starting to bring it down.

But the Asgardian god of Combat would not be felled so easily, and he raised Mjolnir, blocking the blow. Valka, landing before him, immediately continued her attack, summoning her sword Oathbringer and slashing quickly, following up with a stab from with her hand. Dallen parried brilliantly, batting Oathbringer aside, wincing as he did so, and twirling to block her uru hand with a summoned sword of his own. Stepping inside her guard, he almost in a slash at her helmet, but Valka's leg, snaked out, tripping him, the goddess moving away to have room to swing. Growling, Dallen leapt at her again, and their blows were too fast to see, the duelists slashing and stabbing and parrying, switching their weapons to spears, hammers, swords, daggers, axes and all. Valka found blow after blow blocked by the hammer Mjolnir or a sword, and Dallen soon started to hate that uru hand that parried whatever he sent at her.

Throwing up his hands in slight frustration, Dallen threw down his weapons, and started to fight with his fists alone, Valka, recognizing the dynamic of the fight had shifted, dropped Oathbringer. And so, they fought, hand to hand, fist to fist. Valka threw a swift, hard punch at Dallen, who caught it with one hand, arm shaking from the effort. And then he threw a punch with another hand, and Valka caught that one as well, and the two began to push, hoping to overcome the other with sheer strength. And though she pushed and shoved, Dallen was equal to her strength, or perhaps she should have said greater, for even now, he began to push her back, slowly. Redoubling her efforts, she packed more mass into her uru hand, and shoving hard, restoring the balance.

"Enough!" said Dallen, after several more minutes. "We are matched in both weapons and fists, therefore, let us settle the matter in the skies, with our elements and powers." he said. "The sky is your domain, Mjolnir-wielder. But let it never be said that Valka Silverhand is afeared of any." Turning their backs on each other, they summoned their respective weapons, Mjolnir flying to Dallen's hand and Oathbringer appearing in Valka's hand. The two shot up into the air, and then turned, facing each other. And so, their battle in the skies began. Dallen, thrusting his hammer up into the air, below the rapidly gathering dark clouds, cried out, "STORMS! Hear me, Dallen summons thee!" and Mjolnir crackled, and a bolt flashed, a ball of lightning appearing in his hands. The hammer wielder, looked expectantly at Valka, expecting her to be impressed. She was, but she instead grunted audibly, and opened her voice. "Great women are forged in fire, it is the duty of lesser men to light the flame! And then, Oathbringer disappearing from her hands, she bellowed out, her voice thundering, "To me, creations of metal and fire! Your goddess summons thee!" And flinging out her hands, slowly, an army of flaming metal animals and beasts appeared around her, the crackle of flames carrying over the thunder. There were tigers and lions, dragons and eagles, beasts of all nine realms. Reaching a hand to her sheath, she slowly unsheathed her great sword Oathbringer, flames appearing on it, and her armor. And she raised the long, great sword that had served her for so long, in a warrior's salute, Dallen doing the same with Mjolnir. And then, she slashed the air, and her army rushed forth, Valka leading the charge, Salivstar appearing suddenly, his great wings flapping.

Dallen, appearing calm, summoned the lightning to himself, and went out with a battle cry, attacking her army head on, bolts of lightning following behind him and launching themselves at the small army she had summoned. The Asgardian reveled in combat, he was Combat, and he quickly dispatched two flaming lions, swinging his hammer in a whirl, blasting away any metal beasts that attacked, while simultaneously assaulting Valka with a literal lightning storm, the goddess, batting them aside with skill. For an hour, Valka and her army battled the Asgardian, and then, the clouds temporarily cleared, Valka beheld the Asgardian from another world, surrounded by 5 of her beasts, parrying each of their own and launching attacks of their own. Redirecting her attention below, she saw the majority of her small army strewn in small craters. They had fought well, and they would be rebuilt, sometime soon. And she also beheld the scorched earth, the remnants of the deflected lightning bolts.

Turning her attention back to the battle, she watched as her beasts leaped at the Asgardian as one. Just when she had thought that they had finally broken into his seemingly impenetrable defense, a beige light blasted them back. What was that? she wondered, looking on as her beasts fell to the earth, disintegrated. "Impossible," she breathed out in shock and amazement. And there, the God of loyalty floated, a smoking beige ring on his hand. She heard the last part of his shout, an emphatic "And all cowards, we will SMITE!"

Dallen had unleashed his secret weapon, the Nord Corps ring. For the Corps had been refounded by Dallen after the defeat of the Black Lanterns, as their rings had been changed back to beige after the threat was gone. And now, he launched his one, final attack, firing bursts of beige light at Valka who leapt off Salvistar, dismissing him, flying up high up into the air, dodging the first few. But then, Dallen disappeared, hidden by the clouds. As Valka looked around, raising her sword, Dallen appeared above her, holding Mjolnir to the sky. And then, several bolts of lightning descended on her speedily. Though her uru armor absorbed the lightning, the sheer force of it pushed her down, and she crashed back onto the earth. She cast her eyes up, and saw Mjolnir already speedily coming right for her. For some reason, she couldn't find the strength to move, and as the hammer was about to hit her...there was a bright blast.

And she heard the voice in her head,

[VALKA SILVERHAND OF ASGARD]
[YOU POSSESS VAST LOYALTY AND SEEK GLORY]
[WELCOME TO THE NORD CORPS]

Opening her eyes, she beheld the beige ring on her shoulder, and a shield of beige above her. A forger first, she viewed the ring with her experienced eyes, seeking for ways to improve it. Though there were no glaring errors, she would take it to her forge and enhance it as much as possible. Focusing to dissolve the shield, she raised a hand to Dallen, wish to speak in peace. After he landed, she began. "So, I have been granted one of thy rings. The Nord Corps?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. The Asgardian god explained, "It is a power ring, one of the lantern corps. The dead were arisen upon our Midgard, and I received this ring to help in the fight against them. Obviously, you have never heard of this, meaning that you never were in the Black Lantern War." Valka pondered on this, and then responded. "You have beaten me, Dallen of Asgard, and that is something few have done. You truly are of Asgard, and are deserving of the great hammer. Come, let us go to Asgard, I shall show you our Asgard, and bring you to the Allfather. HEIMDALL!" she shouted, and soon the pair were teleported up.

The guardian of Asgard nodded slowly to Dallen, "Greetings, Dallen of Asgard." Dallen returned the nod, and they began to cross the Rainbow Bridge, which had been reforged by Valka after Thor had broken it to stop Loki from destroying Jotunheim. "Welcome, Dallen, to Asgard like you have not seen before." And this Asgard truly was different from Dallen's. For Valka had a great hand in reforging it after Asgard's many wars. In the streets of the city, there stood great statues, first of Odin's father, Bor, and then the Allfather and his brothers Vili and Ve. Further on, were magnificent statues of the heroes of Asgard, Thor, Frigga, Lady Sif, the Warriors Three, and finally, Valka herself. All of the statues were magically endowed, meaning that they would awaken in defense of Asgard when it came under attack. It was she who had done this, and much more, such as designing the prisons and Odin's Vault. Dallen let loose a breath, "It truly is magnificent." Valka bowed her head, "Thank you. Now, on to the Allfather!"

Entering Odin's court, the two warriors, went down on a knee, and said in unision, "Hail, Allfather." Odin replied, "Rise, Valka, and you stranger. Tell me Valka, who do you bring before me?" The Goddess replied, "I bring Dallen of Asgard, the other Asgard that has appeared with the other Midgard. He is their Asgardian God of Combat, Loyalty, Strategy and PopTarts," she said, looking at Dallen confused at the last domain. "They are brilliantly delicious Midgardian treats. Here, try one," he said, summoning and handing Valka a cinnamon sugar PopTart, while Odin looked on amused. Looking at it skeptically, she tore it open and took a large bite, her eyes popping out.
As she marveled at the taste, she drew her sword and threw it into the ground, the blade quivering. "ANOTHER!" she shouted, and Dallen and Odin began to chuckle, Dallen doing as instructed. Creating a table of metal, along with a chair, Valka devoured 10 PopTarts, before looking up, her voice muffled due to the food in her mouth. "I approve!" she said excitedly. "You must share more of these PopTarts with me, Dallen. Anyway, that shall be later. Allfather, he also has the great honor of wielding the mighty Mjolnir, and possesses a power ring of the Nord Corps. I also have received one," she said, raising her hand for Odin to see the beige ring. "A great honor indeed," Odin said, stroking his beard. "Greetings, Dallen. I shall speak to your Odin to discuss this. But tell me, Valka, what makes you so convinced that he is who he claims to be?"

She replied, "Because, Allfather, he defeated me in fair, honorable combat." Odin raised his eyebrows at that, Valka had always had a sort of invincibility against other Asgardians, save Thor, whom she defeated and lost to constantly. "Very well. My response will come soon, Dallen. Odin has spoken!" the God of Wisdom said, banging Gungnir. Bowing, the two departed, now heading to Valka's forge.

Valka unlocked her forge, showing Dallen around. "Behold, Dallen! My forge!" It was a dark, but beautiful place, with carvings, models and paintings. And in the center of her room was her great anvil, along with a large bellows before a never-dying furnace. Exquisite weapons were hung on the walls, and she would later show Dallen her own weapon room. Walking to the anvil, dragging a seat for Dallen, she asked, "Pray, tell me about this ring. For as the goddess of Forging, I am keenly interested in improving it further, if it be possible." The God of Combat placed his ring on the anvil, and Valka did the same, going to collect some instruments to observe and perhaps discover its secrets.

Daniel Carter/Sentinel-32 Yrs-Gotham City(Universe 7's)

I hovered over the various lights and monitors of the display. Another world has somehow emerged over our own. Only it was our world. The only logical explanation was that this was another 'Earth' from the multiverse. This is creating a convergence event which will threaten both of our worlds. The largest threat since the Blackest Night, and I died then. Right before I willed myself to life. My helmet sat upon the terminal, it's bright white and gold visage sparkled gently in the low lights of my Batcave. I gazed over the different monitors which displayed several scenes that were underway on this new Earth. The view in the upper left had shown me a scene in which was alien to me. Daud, utterly defeated. However, it looked as if he and his opponent were coming to terms. Dapp was again a handicap for starting a useless battle from what it seemed. Why Daud kept him around, was beyond me. I have clashed with Dapp several times, although I do not really remember it, I seem to have defeated him outside of my base in Brazil. However, my gaze found itself transfixed upon the screen in the center. Utter chaos in Gotham. Only this is not My Gotham. And it is in dire need of aid, as it seems as the convergence has not been kind to it. Scenes of anarchic crowds pillages shops while the Rouges Gallery took advantage of the chaos.

But through all of this, I was searching for two very specific individuals. Who are somewhere on this world.

My own family.

When these worlds began to orbit each other, certain individuals dropped off the grid. My hypothesis is that the balance between both worlds is beginning to crumble. And in doing so, anomalies began to unravel, such as persons from one world warping into their opposite, but that is just the beginning.

I had planned for this.

I paced across the floor as I entered a lit area in which my armor glistened in the light as I approached a large device which looked like a massive computer mixed in with some time traveling sci-fi features, of course it was neither of these. The hulking machine was a monitoring device for our planet. Drawing in samples from the environment but rather than looking for things like pollution it monitors instead, the world's very spatial fabric.

Essentially the threads which ensure this world continues to exist in reality. And...it is weakening. The process is slow. We have, perhaps a week. But if our worlds do not separate soon, then neither will survive the tears in the very fabric of space and reality.

I finally took a hold of my helmet, looking at my own reflection within the glossy black visor. I placed the helmet upon my head as I finally prepped to leave finally covered within my armor.

"Computer, locate my identical position on this new world." The computer began to cycle through programs before informing me of it's findings in a electronic voice.

"Position located, known as Gotham City to the locals of the alien world." I mused under my breath.
"Thought so." I uttered as I began to step closer to a craft that would allow me to travel to the point of contact as I flipped a series of switches which illuminated the Bat Wing in light. The sleek design of the craft shone with the glossy black. I did not have much time to admire it however.

I pressed a button on my forearm in which my armor began to shift and alter itself but the change was only cosmetic. A simple ploy to keep my multiple identities secret. In moments my armor had the same black overlay as the craft I was about to fly. I had no cape however, no obvious bat insignia upon my chest and two bright blue lights shone through my visor as my visual display, a advanced HUD displaying all sorts of critical information.

Placing myself into the craft I secured myself within it and activated a exit which allowed me to pilot the craft out of the Batcave.

"Computer, locate Sabrina and Mayla's vitals." The search was quite short.

"Their location remains unknown." I sighed in displeasure as I had to focus. I will find them, but I need to ensure the survival of our world first. My wife knows how to take care of herself and my daughter is Kryptonian.

The craft lifted itself higher and higher as I sped to the world that seemed so alike my own, and so different. Because the geography and layout of cities were identical, I simply used my own memory to travel to the Gotham of this world.

I arrived after some time in the center of the city. There was a mass of armed criminals beneath my craft, which was hovering silently about forty feet above them in cloaking technology which hid it from sight. If I had learned anything from Bruce before he died in my world, is that theatricality can accomplish a lot. And so I deactivated the cloaking device and opened the canopy of the craft. I then raised myself so that I could be seen completely by the mass of crooks beneath me.

The display worked as planned. The small line of Gotham PD looked above, as the criminals took in the sight, and almost as one being the collective small army began to flee yelling.

'Its Batman! RUN' The mob began to scatter, I would need to bring them in soon, but for now they are not the priority. They will be taken down soon enough. I then pressed a series of buttons on my suit and leapt from the craft as it began to chase down the various criminals in a auto pilot.

As I landed on the Gotham cement beneath me, a officer approached and seemed quite relieved and distressed at the same time.
"About time you showed up Batman, although the change of clothes is something to get used to. The whole city is tearing itself apart, and Batgirl has been trying to keep a lid on it for days, but we have not heard from her lately."

I blinked beneath my mask.

They believe I am the Batman of their world, of course the do, that is who they want to see most right now. I nodded in confirmation but said nothing. As I began to patrol the streets here, bringing my own talents to the Batman name, and soon to introduce this world to Sentinel as I race to not only save my own family. But the fates of two worlds.

"I apologize, but time is of the essence." Vision X said simply.

It was then that he heard the footsteps. He raised his hand, gesturing for CeeCee to remain quiet for a moment. Vision X cocked his head, using sensory components to triangulate the sound, in an attempt to find the source. It sounded heavy, as though a large creature was approaching. The claws reemerged from Vision X's hands.

"Something it coming." he said simply.

CeeCee and DeeDee

CeeCee took a combat position again in a part off the room where she had eyes on all the possible entrances. Her right arm went down to her leg and grabbed concussion grenade which she activated so if the enemy was clearly hostile the grenade could instantly be thrown. Her gauntlet on her left arm activated an energy blade in case the grenade was not an option or not needed.

As Claudia landed in the entrance to Garlic's castle, Garnet, too, landed beside her, having hitched a ride with the firebending girl after explaining that she couldn't fly and didn't actually have any sort of superhuman powers. Even then, she was already knee-deep in the mess that revolved around Hiroshi and Garlic, not to mention that she still held the latter as the one who caused the premature death of his boyfriend, even though deep down inside she knew that it was because of her sole presence, as the bearer of Misery. However, in her vengeful state of mind she paid little attention to these details, her logic purposefully veering away from such conclusions under the guiding psychological influence of the mystical gun as she strode forward to take part in the battle that was already taking place in the castle. Mere moments after entering, Claudia had already been engaged by one of the Monarchs, while from the depths of the castle, the signs of the titanic battle between Hiroshi and Garlic were evident. However, at least for now, these were their fights. She knew this deep inside, and she did not interfere. Instead, she turned to face the figure that had moved to stand in front of her, the opponent that destiny had chosen for her to face, the demon she had twice already in the past, the Monarch known as Spice.

"Human, do you really think your feeble weapons can kill me again?" The Monarch asked cockily, letting out derisive laughter as he sought to taunt the armed blonde woman, who had displayed a rather unstable behavior during their past encounters, especially the last.

If she was upset at the comment, however, Garnet did not show it. Her fury had turned dark and cold, and so, instead of getting mad, all she did was level the four-barreled revolver at Spice with a resolute stare.

"These weapons can do more just kill you." She said.

Before she could pull the trigger and shoot Spice in the face, the Monarch took advantage of his greater physical abilities and moved in to strike at her. But, that was the thing: she never pulled the trigger. She had never intended to do so. Instead, she had Agony rocket forward, the gauntlet having been steadily building up power during their standoff. Spice was fast, but seemingly not fast enough to overcome his own surprise in time and move out of the way, and so, the gauntleted fist caught him squarely in the gut, causing him to cough out some blood and sending him flying back quite the distance. It had been a clever tactic, one that perhaps Garnet would not have come up with by herself. Indeed, it was difficult to see what part of the woman was still Garnet and what part of her was the influence of Misery and Agony. Whatever the case, though, she did not leave it at that. To follow up on her little stratagem, she raised her mystic gun with a real killing intent this time, firing off all ten rounds in the clip at Spice before tucking the gun away, knowing it needed five long seconds to reload.

Some of the rounds hit the demon, causing him little to moderate physical damage but leaving his very spirit in pain, seared by the contact of the mystical soul-destroying bullets. The aura around the demon seemed to fluctuate and flicker, evidently affected by the spiritual attack, his fighting ability impaired. He, however, was not about to give up, and so, he quickly got to his feet after crashing against the wall and looked at Garnet, fury in his eyes.

"Coward!" He bellowed. "Stop hiding behind those artifacts, you puny human girl!" The demon cried, a swirling vortex of void black and blood red energy materializing and converging in front of his outstretched palm. Soon, a beam like the one he had sent towards her back in New York blasted out of his hand and headed straight for the blonde woman, this time without Hiroshi there to protect her. She, however, did not panic. She didn't even move. Soon the sickly light blinded both of the combatants, rendering unable to see anything for several moments. When Spice opened his eyes once again, he was dumbfounded to see Garnet standing in the same place as before, Agony raised and glowing red-hot after intercepting the energy attack, though it did not seem to bother the woman wielding the arcane gauntlet.

"Says the animal who feels so high and mighty for attacking people weaker than himself. The worst part is that you actually expect everyone to take such treatment lying down. Tell me, asshole, if you're so much against using artifacts, why the hell are you alive? I'VE KILLED YOU TWICE ALREADY!" The blonde woman stated, her voice calm and level at first, though it grew in intensity until it was a furious shout.

Spice was, needless to say, utterly shocked. Since when could normal humans become this strong? Since when could a feeble, powerless human girl like this one become so strong, in such a short time no less? It had scarcely been a day since she was but a stupid girl with a gun who needed the halfling to protect her, but now, she had been able to trick him and make him bleed, and had shrugged off an energy attack on her own.

"Shut up!" Spice growled in response, clearly fed up with being humiliated by the people of this planet. "What manner of monstruosity are you anyway? I'll end you!" He shouted, flying towards her at full speed once again, this time tackling her and taking her high into the air, before tossing her up and then punching her in the gut, sending her plummeting down to her death as he laughed triumphantly. Even if this girl had acquired some great power, she was still unable to fly. Satisfied, Spice rocketed down to the ground, landing nearby, eager to observe the results of his work.

Things, however, didn't quite go as planned.

When Garnet was about to land, there was an explosion of red light, and dust flew everywhere, obscuring the demon's vision. Then, when the dust settled, the woman stood in the middle of a large crater, her gauntleted fist on the ground amidst the cracked earth. Pulling it out with some effort, she looked at Spice, raising an eyebrow as if to taunt him.

"You..." The demon said as he took a step forward, but suddenly, he stumbled. Struggling to maintain his balance, he noticed his aura beginning to flicker away violently, his ki dropping. It was then, and only then, that the demon noticed something: there were several bullets lodged in his torso. The woman had fired them as he took her to the skies, and he had been too caught up in his attack to notice. The sheer spiritual damage, however, was crushing, and Spice himself was crippled, his power now but a fraction of what it used to be. He attempted to power up, using the strength given to him by the Makyo Star, his aura slowly beginning to come back.

But then Garnet shot him in the eye.

Howling in agony, Spice grasped at his now destroyed socket, pain rippling through him as both his soul and his body were being destroyed by Misery's deadly touch.

Taking advantage of his vulnerability, Garnet approached him and grasped his head with her gauntleted fist, her grip tightening with each passing second. "I'm going to ask you to do me a favor..." She whispered aggressively as her hold became tighter and tighter. "AND STAY DEAD!"

At that moment, there was a burst of blood-red light. When the light subsided, there was only a headless body lying on the ground, and a woman standing in the middle of a rain of blood, her arcane gauntlet covered in the blood of the Monarch as she let out a sigh, relieved that this battle was over. It was then, and only then, that she allowed her facade to shatter. She was not unscathed from the battle. Her hand hurt and burned, and she was in a great deal of pain, her bones feeling as if they were about to crack. Certainly, the gauntlet had given her a great power, but at what cost? At the cost of her physical integrity, as using too much of its power had put a lot of stress on her body. She fell to her knees and coughed out some blood, but quickly wiped it away from her mouth with her sleeve and stood back up. She was only human, true, but that did not matter at the moment. She had a duty to fulfill. Or rather, she had a vengeance.

Noticing that Claudia had turned big and red and had crushed another of the Monarchs, Garnet quickly blinked several times in a display of disbelief, wondering how the hell that had happened. "Claudia, are you alright?" She called out, not quite sure if that was such a good idea.

Red Atom targeted the Orange Kilian and made his approach. His body changed texture to that of a very durable Kree alloy used in some space craft. His Gravity Manipulation took effect in the surrounding area, as the force of gravity seemed to increase to nearly 8 times what it should be.
With gravity at a high and his body highly durable todamage, he flew in at over 200,000 meters per second. He flew straight for the orange Kilian, firing a beam of intense concentrated light with enough power to slice through a battleship with ease. He seemed to be unaffected by the gravity manipulation, as his control over gravity allowed him to change the effects of gravity immediately around him.

AGDAI Prime had continued the construction of his army, getting it the proper size to dominate the world.

Benjamin had taken off and finally arrived near Doomsday, trying to intimidate him.

Alex was keeping the Orange Kilian distracted, he felt the gravity increase, but it wasn't enough to have any noticeable effect on either him or Kilian. OrangeKilian was simply strong enough to fight through it without any trouble thanks to the Necro-Sword. Alex fired a beam, but Kilian fired a stronger one that pushed Alex's back. "How strong is this guy?!" Alex asked and shot into the air as the beam nearly struck him. "He's as strong as he is fast..." Because Orange was so busy fighting Alex he completely missed the fact that Ulan had fired a beam at him from behind.

The beam struck the Lantern and staggered him and left some smoke from where it had hit. "OUCH! Who shot me?!" He then looked at Ulan. "Ooooh! A Rare Kree..." Orange thought for moment about what to do and then remembered how he felt about the Kree. "I hate the Kree! Just kill him! I don't want a stupid Kree!" He commanded to the Orange version of himself fighting the good Kilian and sent it toward Ulan.

The regular Kilian stopped. "Okay. This could be going better. Hey muscles!" Kilian zipped over. "Does this universe have a Captain Cold?" If it did, then this would be a great plan.

"I think so, but I'm pretty sure he's in pri-" Before Alex Could finish, Kilian was gone. "I hate it when he does that. Hold on Ulan!"

Kilian however was searching every maximum security prison in the US until he found- "Captain Cold's cold gun. Name never stops being weird." He says, grabs it, and runs back over to Ulan. "Can you shoot straight, good, here." He said and gave him Cold's gun. "Absolute zero. It'll slow him down. Grab the ring and sword. Don't put the ring on though or we all die." Kilian said just slow enough that it was mostly comprehensible.

Julie nearly panicked when she saw the fire. It was yellow like the shield around her opponent, meaning she couldn't blast it, though she could still block it. Instead, she let her eyes widen in fear as she ran. She would have screamed in terror were she not so frightened she couldn't even squeal. All her will, all her strength and courage. Even when she wouldn't even show a single peep of terror at Nightmare, Frost and countless other horrors she had been introduced to recently. She was still scared shitless of fire. She ran and hid behind a rock nearby, practically shaking.

"Where's your damn willpower now Green Lantern!" She laughed, "What's the matter? Getting a little to hot for you to handle?" She smiled as she spotted the rock. She didn't need to even move. She pointed her ring at the rock and her yellow beam tore it apart. Then, the dragons head reapeared and she let out a gout of flame which was aimed at the Martian, who ran away from it.

FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE NO NO NO NO NO NO. She thought. Panic through ever part of her. She paused, finding another place to hide.

What the hell are you doing!? She chided herself. Any Green Lantern would be ashamed of her right now. She was running away like a coward. She was letting fear rule her. She needed to conquer it as her mentor had told her to. She inhaled, then exhaled.

"Alright." She spoke. She looked at Julia, having steeled herself. "Let's do this again."

If my constructs can't hurt her, my heat vision should.

She fired off a blast with her vision, catching her yellow lantern counterpart off guard. She suddenly felt a burning in her arm. Her eyes widened with fury, but not before her face was slammed into concrete by a not so little green girl. She didn't give her a second to breath either, and began slamming her face into the ground repeatedly. Blood came out as she did so, but before she could do any more damage a white arm grabbed her hand and flung her into the ground away from them.

Julie scrambled to her feet just in time to take a face-full of yellow Lantern beam. Then, more fire.

She was able to shield herself from the flames, a bubble around her keeping her safe. But she was collapsing. The green bubble was barely holding and cracking easily at her fear tainted will. She backed away to the back of her bubble, fear on her face as the only thing she could do was hold her ring up.

Fire.... no...

CeeCee and DeeDee

CeeCee was surprised to see Vision X get hit hard enough to get forced down on the ground, but her trained reflexes didn't let that slow her down even for a split second. CeeCee threw her concussive grenade which she had ready for the assailant. Unlike regular concussion grenades which attempt to knock out their target with an explosion, CeeCee's concussion grenades were high tech delivery systems of flashing lights and high pitched sounds. These flashing lights were designed to overload the visual cortex of the human brain and the high pitched sound that target the balance system, throwing it out of whack causing targets under it's affect to experience a sensory overload causing them to lose consciousness.

CeeCee assumed that Vision X, being a machine, would be immune to this effect and CeeCee's suit was protecting her with ear plugs and contact lenses designed specifically to protect her against her own grenades. The concussion grenades flew towards the enemy and stopped moving halfway in the air, at this point it's glowing blue light turned red as it activated both it's sound and strobe lights. The talon seemed to have a higher tolerance than most as he didn't instantly collapsed but a few seconds seemed enough to cause him to black out.

As the Talon was on the ground CeeCee grabbed her concussion grenade and turned it off, directly after she grabbed the now unconscious talon and held his arms behind him in a lock. But considering this talon had the strength to hit Vision X to his knees she wasn't taking any chances and magnetized the arms off her suit to cling to each other, the Talon could struggle as much as he wanted not even CeeCee could force her arms to undo the lock as long as they were magnetically hinged together.

"My grenade's effect should be reaching it's end, he should awaken soon. By the way, I can't believe you got kicked to your knees by this guy, I thought you had enough power to be a God compared to me. Either I overestimated you or I'm underestimating this guy, if it's the second then I hope my magnetic lock will be able to hold him."

Ulan had quickly taken hold of the gun, and set aims on the Orange Kilian. He quickly fired the gun to deliver and exact blow. He was a well trained Kree Commander once and had decades of combat experience. He was no stranger to guns and was an excellent shot.
With the shot delivered, Ulan blast forward with all his speed, nearing the speed of light and exhausting all of his energy supplies. With such speed, and his opponent unable to travel quickly, Ulan reached out to grab the the sword and pull the ring off of his finger.

Benjamin charged toward the doomsday flying at him, and brough up a single fist to smash into him and exert the full force of the grenades he had absorbed earlier right into his abdomen, which was enough to shred a normal human being.
What he really wanted Doomsday to do was hit him with all his force. Then, it would be easy to pummel him into the ground with an equal force.

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:Noticing that Claudia had turned big and red and had crushed another of the Monarchs, Garnet quickly blinked several times in a display of disbelief, wondering how the hell that had happened. "Claudia, are you alright?" She called out, not quite sure if that was such a good idea.

Claudia turned to face Garnet quickly, fist in the air ready to strike Vinegar. She was pinning the demon to the ground using her legs alone. She seemed to have a scowl on her face as she looked at Garnet. But then it turned to a gratified smile. “I’m better than fine…” She spoke. She felt the demon twitching and slammed her fist down onto his face. Her hands were now glowing with blue hot flame, her fire having increased greatly in intensity since the transformation. She got up, still putting a foot on Vinegar’s chest. “I feel fucking AMAZING.” She chuckled slightly. The power had gone to her head just slightly...

“You bitch…”

And she had taken just about enough crap from this demon for a lifetime. His specifically. She looked down on him, then suddenly squatted slightly to jump into the air. The ground felt that jump and so did the demon, coughing blood as he was hit by the force. Claudia didn’t loose momentum even as she crashed through the roof. She then quickly fell down, slamming into the demons chest again with an explosion of dust. His lungs caved in and his organs collapsed, his body having taken enough punishment. She then tore his body out from under her and tossed it to the side, right next to Mustard.

She might have cared that she had just killed someone, but today had been a changing day for Claudia. No longer would she be scared of her own power. And if someone was going to use her as a punching bag then they were going to have to pay for it. Painfully.

“So…” She spoke, turning back to her. She walked a little toward the other female, at least a head taller than her now. “You want to fight his friend, or should I?” she asked, her head indicating Mustard, who was still reeling from the shock of the sudden reversal. Someone who had just gotten her ass beat by his friend had just broken him by using his chest as a trampoline.

The Orange Kilian slowed to what would be an average running pace due to the Cold gun severely draining his speed, and before he knew it, Ulan had taken the sword and ring off of his hands. As soon as this happened, the false Kilian seemingly just melted away. "Don'tputthatringon!" Kilians spat. "Don't care what you do with the sword, ring bad. Like, really bad if you value sanity. Trust me it's not fun." He sighed.

The construct Alex was fighting vanished as swoon as Ulan got the ring off his finger. "That... That could have gone worse. Is that the best you can do?" Alex shouted at Entropy.

An annoyed sigh followed Alex's question. You know, I really have no one else but myself to blame. He replied. Alex and Ulan are smart. Well, they're strategists. Kilian... Ehhh. Leaves a little bit to be desired. Entropy said. Tell you what. I'm gonna make a problem you can't solve by hitting it. I mean you COULD, but you're not going to. I've been going about this the wrong way. I've been trying to muscle you, and I could, but here's something a little more challenging. Entropy snickered. The universes are going to collapse on each other. Both Earths are the focal point. If they hit eachother, BOOM! Both universes die. BUT. If one of the Earths were destroyed. Both universes will live. Just minus one Earth. I'll be honest. This is my last challenge for you all. Solve it, and I'm done messing with you all. Good luck!

"Okay, I'm really starting to hate that guy." Kilian said. "Good job team! This'll be easy. Alex! Just push one of the Earths out of the way and we're done." Kilian said and sat down. "Boom! We win. Entropy leaves and we can all go home! See. Told you to just weather the storm. Works every time."

"You know, I can't do that. I could lift the planet, but the planet itself isn't strong enough. I'd smash and tear right through it. It'd be like trying to stop a charging bear with a pinprick. It'll just go right through." Alex explained. "Ulan. What do you have in mind?"

Garlic jr.:

Red.

The world was red as black lightning rippled along the ground as red power swirled around its target. Power induced wind swirled around as waves of force rolled out from the heart of the energy wave's target. The orb of destruction now at the core of where his throne had once been expanded in several great pulses, leaving Garlic to smile darkly as black bolts scorched past his body as he looked on. All around him the walls of his throne, and the entire wing of the castle came crashing down to the Earth. The floor, the entire section of the castle began to fall away. Dust escaped violently into the air as thousands of fragmented stones tore away from the structure. In all the destruction's wake, even as the rocks, stones, and cement crashed and crumbled all around them, the red blast which was at the core of its destruction pulsed violently again, before sweeping up dust and debris and letting it orbit it violently for several seconds.

Finally, the swirling motion of the blast slowly faded, leaving nothing but burning ash in the air. The black smoke billowed from its core as Garlic floated where he once stood, chuckling to himself.

With his same demonic smile, delighted eyes started towards the burning cloud.

Yes, that's right Hiroshi, go defend your brat kid, no matter the cost. It will cost you all of your precious strength to keep her safe. How much pain did you have to endure to keep her safe in that attack? Well?

Red eyes scanned the burning patch of air in front of him, no longer tinted with red energy. Slowly, the smoke began to disperse into the air, leaving behind only a solitary figure. Baggy martial arts pants were the first thing he noticed, and Garlic almost salivated to see the remnants of his opponent, torn and ravaged by his cunning attack. But increasingly as the smoke disappeared, the demon was left with a sinking feeling.

Not. One. Scratch.

Without even realizing it, his eyes widened when he looked at it. Standing there holding on to a terrified little girl, who was also completely unharmed, was the target of all of his hate. He'd unleashed a Death Impact wave with a significant total of power, and all he could sense and see were an unharmed Saiyan. It just didn't make any sense. Their power levels were very close, and yet he couldn't land a blow, or even harm him with powerful energy waves. Which of course meant something very significant. He was holding back a significant portion of his power, and tapping into it quietly when able.

So, it meant he wasn't going to win, at least quickly, by bludgeoning his way past Hiroshi's defenses. He needed to make the Halfling invest himself in another portion of the battle. Attacking the girl, or at least making threats towards her were going to be his best options. Still, it was every bit as terrifying and amazing as he remembered it. Floating there wasn't just some Saiyan, or some warrior, it was a terrifying beast which consumed and destroyed anything that came in its path. The good, the evil, everything fell to him like blades of grass before a blade.

When Abaddon had showed him the segments of Hiroshi's life beyond this world, it was a thrill. Watching that son of his life becoming twisted into a laughable parody of everything his father's was, and yet still containing his explosive and violent power, brought the demon an immense amount of enjoyment and amusement. Watching this Halfling attempt to outrun the sins of his father was delicious. The Saiyan had done so much with his existence to change his fate, yet he still spread misery and despair, and he was still stuck on this miserable Earth. In his own strange way, Garlic wished he could have stepped into Hiroshi's life for himself. If anything he stole his opportunity to break him down, and Hiroshi'd done it to himself.

And he stole it from him with the same power he was using to stop him from exercising his vengeance.

"Well," Garlic started, trying to conceal his frustration but failing. "Aren't you the hero? Saving the girl and ignoring the blast. You must think yourself unstoppable, mustn't you? Well, we'll see how powerful you feel once I get my hands on that brat kid of yours."

It was then that Garlic saw the visible tick he was looking for. When Hiroshi's eyes flashed with concern, he confirmed the soft underbelly of his enemy. The plan had been correct, attacking the girl first. Now the next step would be to keep him constantly in the position to protect her. She was his shield, as he could already tell Hiroshi would avoid using his full power around her, lest she be harmed. With a devilish smile, and matching intent, Garlic poised himself to charge his enemy again, this time with a plan in mind.

"So, you're big plan to fight me is to attack a kid?" Hiroshi shot back.

There was no follow up, only affirmation as Garlic charged towards him, his huge body breaking through the sound barrier in a flash as he struck out towards Hiroshi, aiming at his right side, the side holding onto the girl. In a blur of motion his arm struck into think air as the Saiyan dodged his attack, but it only made him grin. There was most certainly caution in the air, he could smell it. Striking out with a series of punches, Garlic's fists found no target, but he had seen his folly from before. Each strike was more precise, less sloppy, and gave a smaller window of opportunity to exploit his defenses. Immortality in the flesh, while helpful, didn't mean he needed to take needless strikes.

Finally, a blow came close to its target, feeling Hiroshi's hand shove his aside, leading to Garlic following through on the right swing by lifting his leg and carrying the momentum through, slamming his leg and foot into his rival's side. It was enough to make the Saiyan twist in the sky, before Garlic followed through with another twirl, this time lashing out of with backhand. As soon as Hiroshi caught it, Garlic turned his head and grinned again, almost cheekily. He should have struck for the girl earlier.

Between the two of them, the only thing breaking the silence was the girl's screams of terror.

"Well, she certainly sounds like she's having the time of her life," he chuckled. "If you make a wrong move, it may well be the end of her life," Garlic pointed out, his tone not bothering to conceal his delight or amusement.

Watching Hiroshi struggle brought him a great deal of satisfaction, and-

All his thoughts ceased as soon as his enemy jabbed his gut with a vicious short kick, causing Garlic to growl furiously.

"Attacking me won't help, I'm immort-"

It was then, holding his caught fist, that Hiroshi's arm glowed with raw energy, and he shoved his wrist and fingers back. Every bone in Garlic's right arm snapped, as his wrist crushed as well in a single motion. A howl of agony couldn't help but escape as Garlic pulled his arm back in a single desperate motion, clutching it with his free hand as if it'd stop the pain. Any moment he expected another attack, but instead Garlic looked about, his eyes seeing nothing. Slowly, energy began to fade, and it was then that his senses were directed up.

He's trying to get the girl to a safe place, isn't he?

"Oh Hiroshi, you're so heroic," Garlic chuckled aloud as he saw the glowing golden bolt flying through the air, launching itself into the clouds with a thundering boom being left behind him.

Bones began snapping themselves back into place a moment later while the would-be tyrant grinned.

Reality bent and warped around him, before shattering like glass. Air sucked inward along with debris for a beat of one's heart, before Garlic dived into the Dead Zone itself, purposefully. From within, his body almost seemed to become one with the inky darkness beyond. From within, he could almost reach out into the real world, bending and pushing against the fabric of space and time, until it broke.

As pieces of real time cracked and then shattered, bits of existence falling almost like a broken mirror, Garlic warped back into reality, exactly where he intended. Hovering in the sky, his red eyes could see the golden aura of Hiroshi come to an abrupt halt only a small fraction of space away from him. Two eyes stared up at him, filled with frustration and anger as he stared back at him.

"Running away? What a shame. To think, the great son of Abaddon, the notorious conqueror, fleeing from a pitiful being such as myself. Or is it all for the girl? My, she does look frightened, doesn't she. Just like you were all those years ago…"

Staring into the eyes of the terrified child, Garlic felt his own enjoyment rise considerably. When he looked up to the girl's father, he could clearly see the resentment he'd longed for, for so long. Even if Hiroshi was confident in his ability to kill him, for the moment, he clearly wasn't confident in his ability to keep the girl safe. Which meant this was going to be much more enjoyable then he imagined. Of course, there was only so much time to reminiscence over it all.

"Mister Super Saiyan, he's-"

"Oh there is no need to insult your father with such childish language, is there? He's not Mister Super Saiyan or the Super Saiyan, as I explained before, he's-"

The scorn filled glance he received from the girl's father was every bit as delicious as he imagined.

"Talk to me, not her," Hiroshi snapped. "Actually, don't talk at all."

Pointing his hand out, Hiroshi gathered energy into his free hand. Garlic had only enough time to see it before he used his speed, moving to the side as a dead bolt of azure energy shot where he'd once been.

"Well, wasn't that close? You're losing you're ed-"

Before he could finish, another bolt discharged, this time jetting straight towards him. With both of his hands, unable to dodge this time, Garlic challenged the wave. As soon as the energy connected with his hands, the pain was intense. Blue skin burned, and turned black as the air around his hands seemed to even catch fire. Using his ki, the demon reflected the energy back in towards itself as best he could, before it exploded violently within his palms. Flesh warped from the intensity of the attack.

The air and wind around him were... overwhelming. His arms felt as if they were twitching uncontrollably, but Garlic already knew that his hands and forearms were gone. Two shocked red eyes looked towards where they'd once been, and now only bloody, burnt stumps remained. His mouth slowly gaped, trying to take in the sensory data that told him that his arms were gone. But it was only a single energy bolt? How could have this happened?

Inside each stump, he could feel the magic of the dragon working. His muscles swelled for a moment before flesh started to reconstitute itself. Bone slowly began to grow from the blooded stump as his limps slowly inched back into place. The process was strange. It didn't feel like his arms were regrowing. Fingers, freshly forged, twitched, but they twitched just as his phantom nerves had before. What had once been shock on Garlic's face, now turned back to amusement as he looked back up towards Hiroshi and his daughter.

The girl looked even more terrified than before. The trembling wreck in his arms was silently crying and clinging on to his shirt. But it was Hiroshi that drew most of his interest. The Saiyan warrior looked on with a passive look, but it was impossible not to detect the worry that radiated off of him.

"Surprised, Saiyan? You shouldn't be," Garlic chuckled.

Channeling his power to his centre, Garlic slowly began to growl as he struggled to gather his energies to his command. The world around them swirled with dark energy as it manifested itself around him. Red highlights of an aura trailed off his skin as the black wind around him expanded outward, forming into an orb surrounded by lightning. The grow grew into a roar as the immortal brought up everything he could, channelling all of the energy he'd grown from the Makyo Star's energy inside himself. This was certainly not his final technique, but it was going to be enough to show the upstart in front of him his power.

He'd suck the very energy out of Hiroshi by bombarding him, and forcing him to protect the little girl in his arms. His twisted smile returned as soon as the draw was finished.

"Let's play a game, Hiroshi. The game is called life. Whoever dies first, loses," he snickered as red power swirled around his chest and abdomen.

What came from this red orb, was destruction. Pulsating several moments, letting its vile energies leak into the air, the demon let the attack simmer for a moment.

"Why haven't you run yet, Hiroshi? Fled with the girl? Don't tell me you're too afraid to move! It'd be such a shame! I knew you were renown for cowardice, but that usually means running away!" Garlic cackled.

"Why move, when you aren't a threat?"

Immediately the cackle stopped, and Garlic sneered again outwardly. So, he thought himself so far his superior that he was even nonthreatening? Still? Even after their exchanges so far? Well, it was going to be a hard lesson for him to learn then! With the dark energies blasting directly around him, Garlic put his hands behind the red pulsating orb he'd forged, guiding its wrath. Instead of launching towards Hiroshi, instead it radiated a directed pulse, like a bleeding dark heart of energy. The red waves rolled forward, and it was enough to even catch Hiroshi by surprise, given his widened eyes and immediate shift in stance.

Shielding the girl, the first of thousands of waves rolled past him. Blackened and red fire almost seemed to emerge in the air around him as it made contact with his energies and aura. The Super Saiyan glow just radiated off of him, but the golden energy didn't stay in place, instead flowing back like grass in high winds. The noise his attack generated made almost a siren like sound in the air as it continued. Every pulse it made, the orb grew weaker, but every bit of energy it spent, Garlic simply funnelled back into it.

"What's wrong,Hiroshi? Can't take the heat?!" he laughed.

Clouds shifted and blasted away above, and the waters below the wreckage of his castle and palace, seemed to twist and warp under the pure power of his newly acquired strength.

"Well?! Am I still not a threat!? Do you still think you're better than I am!? Where is all that power, Simian!? I can't feel you feeding me. I arrange all of this for you to fight me like you did all those years ago, and you're still holding back! Well I guess you and that brat girl of yours are going to have to just suffer then!"

Beyond the ray of energy waves, he could sense Hiroshi consolidating himself, even while he was under attack. It wouldn't be enough without him raising his power level of course, and so far there were no signs of that. Even if he was masking his energy for the majority of this battle, Hiroshi had been letting it out in small pieces behind every blow. There would be no way he could conceal his power to escape this. The arrogant fool thought he could challenge his attack directly? It was embarrassing. It was embarrassing because he wouldn't take him seriously.

The girl screamed behind the force of the attack, the only thing preventing her from being utterly destroyed was her father's body and aura.

"How inhumane, allowing the girl to be this terrified! Come now, Hiroshi! She'll need to get used to this, if I let her live she'll be killing unruly plebeians for me. She reminds me so much of you.Screaming and crying for your father to come and rescue you. And just like your father, you'll fail. But she has nowhere near the power you have Saiyan. She'll not be able to stop me. And here you are, not even trying."

"Would you shut. UP!"

Immediately there was a change in his own wave, golden energy warping around Hiroshi's body pushing back against it. This was what he'd wanted to see. There was a spike in the energy across from him, if only for a few precious seconds, before the feedback through his own wave was washed back. Concentrating, Garlic amplified the power coming from his attack with the intent on suppressing him even more.

"Why should I?! I've waited for decades for this, and you do nothing but hide from me!" Garlic snarled. "Are you really going to just sit there under my attack until what? Claudia and Garnet arrive? They'll be indisposed for some time! Are you afraid to unleash so much power with that brat child so close? It'd be wonderful if by just pushing your power up, you managed to hurt the poor thing."

I knew it.

Pushing Hiroshi to unleash his power was now more imperative then ever. Attacking the girl had been tactically intelligent before, but keeping her under threat, and making it hard for The Saiyan to defend himself had been the plan. But knowing that if Hiroshi were to unleash his power, and cease protecting the girl as a result, meant she'd be harmed or killed.

"Fight me,Hiroshi ! I demand it! Show me the power you used to defeat me before!"

It was then, that the aura flared up once more. It was enough to force back the pulses again for several seconds, but this time there was something else behind it. Staring back down into the Super Saiyan's eyes, he could see something akin to determination, and the hatred he'd wanted to see for so long.

"I don't care what you demand! But if you think I'm going to let you kill my daughter, then you can have it!"

Energy rippled off of him once, but it was brief. Just brief enough for Hiroshi to form something on his free hand. Slashing his hand down in a chop, a crescent of gold energy wave escaped. The waves of his Dark Pulse attack distorted and disappeared in its path. It was purple death, cutting through the world itself. The red, corrupted heart of his attack was cut cleanly through as well, the orb separating into two right before him. It took less then a fraction of a second for it to hit him, drawing down the middle of his face and body.

A panic rushed through him as the orb further separated, becoming unstable right in front of him. When he went to say anything, nothing happened.

It can't be-

All thought ceased a moment later, as the last things Garlic felt were his vision dividing and slipping away, as the two halves of his perfectly cut body slowly divided and pushed away from one another, and the once-orb of volatile energy, exploded.
What don't you understand? I CAN'T DIE!
As if that gives you an excuse to live.

Hector Gage/The Blue Lantern-28 Yrs-New York City

tick...tock...tick...tock.The sound from the clock on the wall was the only one that broke the silence in the apartment in the motel room in New York City. I was sitting on the edge of my bed, fingers crossed as I used them to support my jaw as I hunched over. Observing both Michael and Melody sleep in the second bed a few feet away. Their silent breathing my only focus as my own thought rose to the surface. The events of today atop that roof top with that blonde woman ended rather abruptly and while they left, I could not leave these two behind, and I had the idea that the woman could look after herself. I had spoken with both of my children about their behavior in school, they shrugged me off. But I feel like they are finally getting the picture that our situation wont be changing for a while, that I was here to stay. And to be honest with myself, it gave me hope. I had not felt completely hopeful in years. I had expected the power stone I acquired to give me hope for my future, to become the man my Aunt had wanted for me. However I found it lacking, just another job. But with these two, a new beginning.

Tomorrow I will take them back to Gotham and see about using that Wayne program to find some better employment. I have to face it, Dragoon time does not pay. Simple as that. I closed my eyes, beginning to meditate as I sat there, unable to sleep. I stayed in that position for a good fifteen minutes, and would have been longer had it not been for a light beginning to shine in the room, disturbed by it I opened my eyes to see what had disturbed me and would hopefully not awake the kids. Hovering, mere inches in front of me, was a small blue ring with a strange insignia on the front end of it. Placing a hand in front of my eyes to shield myself from it, I heard something speak.

Hector Gage of Earth
You possess Great Hope
Welcome to the Blue Lantern Corps

I was enveloped by the great light and the ring found itself on my left hand, as the transformation occurred I found myself in some blue alien uniform, similar to what I have seen the Green Lantern wear on television, complete with costume mask and all. The light died down and as I peeked up at the kids, I was surprised to no end that they somehow remained asleep. Sighing gratefully I took a step back, admiring the suit in a mirror above a budget and harshly chipped dresser. I saw myself in it, and finally knew that this, combined with my new found purpose in being a father. Was just what the doctor ordered. As this new form was a literal personification of the hope that had been instilled in me by rediscovering my own children.

But in an instant my ring alerted me to a danger, and somehow and in a way I cannot explain, I understood everything. A Green Lantern needed my help, and I was called to aid.

With the ring guiding me, I rocketed away and into the black sky. A blue trail of light flowing behind me. I must have traveled light years, but it seemed to happen so quickly, I had found the besieged Green Lantern, a martian, how I know that is still a mystery, under siege by what seems to be a yellow ring clone of her, using her deepest fears to weaken her very will.

I descended closer to her, eventually being enveloped in the flames as well, protected only by my ring and it must have appeared to the yellow clone that she was succeeding. I knew that the Martian's shield construct was beginning to break. Lifting my left hand, a blue glow began to coincide with her feint green one. At first barely noticeable but slowly grew fiercer in light.

I then began to recite the oath, lending my own strength to the Lantern, fighting so bravely to hold on, despite her deepest fears. Providing the one thing that can strengthen a weakened Will, when faced with absolute Fear.

Hope.

"In fearful day, in raging night"

My ring formed a shield around me, protecting me as a blue aura began to surround the Green Lantern Martian.

"With strong hearts full, our souls ignite"

The aura encased her own construct, repairing all the damage inflicted by the Yellow Lantern.

"When all seems lost, in the war of light"

By now, it was becoming obvious to any around that the tide was turning, as the Yellow Ring's affect began to weaken. The flames began to retreat from the enhanced energy between the two of our rings.

"Look to the Stars, for Hope burns Bright!" And with my battle cry finished, a brilliant burst of blue and green energy exploded, throwing the Yellow Lantern back. The two rings, fueled by both will and hope, empowered each other. Showing that Will, and Hope are formidable.

Together, Fear is no match.

"What... Is this place?" A lonely voice began, a rift in the Multiverse closing as the being behind the mask looked around suspiciously, only remembering the battle between him and the Kilian back in his own Universe, the battle had gone by in a matter of minutes but it had seemed like hours, and this man, the individual who hid behind the mask had lost to Kilian which had sent him into such a rage that he screamed to the heavens and then he had found himself within the loneliness of space within this Universe, which was undergoing a Convergence event of some kind. The Masked Man looked in the direction of Earth, feeling his energy running vibrant within the Universe, It was absolutely no mistake, that energy belonged to- "Kilian..." The Voice said, venom laced within his voice.

In response, his body began to burn with an orange tint of energy which began to increase with each passing second "Here we are. Home sweet home." Kilian's voice began to ring within his head. Not only did those words scar the man's head, but it caused his eyes to glaze over with a red tint, his anger reaching it's boiling point "KILLIAN!!!!!!!!" The Masked Man Screeched, his voice being intensified by the Speed Force as he too took off at speeds only a user of the Speed Force could accomplish, his mind only repeating the word Killian, Killian, Killian!!!" The Man continued to yell through his subconscious.

Corinna Erastos-2,187 Yrs-Off the coast, Outside of Ur

The day had finally come, where I would find my purpose...or I would find death. But not in the way Ares, my God believes. With his power finally collected, we both hovered above the raging ocean as the crusted waves crashed beneath us. Floating about ten paces apart he held his arms outstretched in congratulations. "You have done everything I have desired and more, through the centuries you have proven yourself to be the true legacy of our people. Now, as promised, I will restore your mortality. I will take back the gift in which you find yourself cursed by." I stepped closer, as if we were both standing on solid ground. And my face went from a smile, to a scowl. Speaking words that would not resonate well in the ears of Ares. "That is what I have asked from you. But...things have changed." I told him, as my hair was blown widely to the side by the howling winds around us. "I have found purpose, but it is not for your benefit. I will not allow you to harm the people of Ur, or of this world, for your own ends Ares. I may no longer me immortal, but all things must end." I then raised an open palm calmly, and then clenched it into a fist. "Even your reign."

The God gave a bellow of laughter. "And what do you intend to do? I am the source of your power. I can take it all away, and I assure you. Nothing you can hope to do will stop me from unleashing the wrath of a God long ignored by mankind, and make them pay for their hubris." The God then shot forth and grabbed me, hurling my form across the ocean and crashing painfully on to the shores of Ur, smashing straight through a boulder, pain shot through my body. And I felt it, for the first time...a broken arm. And I...feel normal...

My immortality, and all of my powers, were gone. I hissed in pain as I forced myself to stand, and turned my gaze into the sky over the raging waters at Ares who looked down upon this man as a God would ants. Lifting his arms slowly, I knew fear for the first time, as I knew what he was summoning. And that I no longer had his blessings to empower me. My legs shook, but I remained standing as I watched the horror of ancients past arise from the sea.

The Kraken.

Rain pelted me as if it itself was artillery. I somehow managed to wield my large shield, it's enchantments now lost with my broken left arm. I raised the spear ahead of me, forcing my good arm to be steady, blood seeped into my helmet and dropped from cuts upon my legs as I was now armed, with nothing more than ancient weapons.

And the will of a Spartan.

I locked eyes with the beast ahead of me, as it began advancing at a impossible pace, intent on crashing into the shore.

"And so....this is the purpose I had found for myself....the fate of the last daughter of Sparta."

A weak smile began to crease across my bloody lips.

"Well then...Kraken, scourge of the ancient seas....you must be grateful for my condition." I said aloud, as if I was having a conversation with the monster. As I began to advance into a jog, my spear readied at the monster. My eyes wide with anticipation.

"Ares has seen fit to make this fight a fair one..." I uttered as I ducked underneath a enormous tentacle as I dashed up a slippery rock face and threw myself into the air, right on a collision course with one of the lower tentacles of the monster as I bellowed like a warrior.

"FOR YOU!" I screamed as the battle began with my spear seeping deep within one of it's rampaging tentacles as I collided with the legendary beast.

"Okay... Ummm Give me a moment. Gotta go check in with something REALLY quick. Just be a minute. Try and think of an idea. BLOWING UP THE OTHER EARTH IS NOT AN IDEA KYOT-" He cut himself off and shot into the distance. Something felt strange. Even stranger, it felt like something or someone was calling his name. It was another Speedster, but two things tipped him off that something was strange about the new speedster. All the Speedsters on both Earths were still accounted for. There was the theory that an alien gained access to the Speed Force. Several humans had done it so there was always the possibility, but even if that did happen, why was his name being echoed through his head? It was unlikely that an alien would know his human name. He went by Speed Demon in space. Whatever it was, it was coming for him, and he had to make sure no one else was in the way.

Alex sighed and turned to the foreign Masakis. "Was he like this on your planet?"

Hail to the King
A Man, a King, and a Titan

"So then, Daud, do you have any particular schemes in mind to break us out of this unwinnable situation?" Mad Max asked, the two sitting side by side against a cool, concrete wall - the evidence of their former battle still scattered around in the form of smashed surroundings. It was just resting, but the fact of the matter was that Daud and Maxwell came to terms with one another. Perhaps the Mad King saw what Daud really was when he put on the Cosmic Ring - a father, hero, soldier, it made no difference, he was still just a man, just like Max.

"Some, none I can do in time. I envisioned a massive Ark of some sort carrying all of the people from one world to another." He replied, somehow finding a water bottle to drink out, lightly sipping on it's innards and politely passing it to Maxwell. He too took a drink and returned it, thinking alongside his new-found ally, his thoughts partially on the raging fight between Val and Dapp at the moment. "Maybe use my ring or a teleporter of some kind. Maybe have Kilian make several runs."

"Ah, but what then? We destroy the uninhabited Earth and are left with a world with an additional seven billion people, many of them an alternate version of one already here, and with no ability to food, clothe, and house fourteen billion people, we've essentially doomed both worlds - one just gets to suffer as it dies." Max answers, liking the idea, but knowing it was not practical. "Plus, it seems our game master wants something to die. What if he decides to terminate both of us by trying to circumvent the rules?" He further asks Daud, who shrugs politely.

"I'm not sure, then. I've fought Gods before, on equal grounds, while disadvantaged, too. But this seems out of our league." Daud clearly states, "You have anything thought up?"

"It's similar to your method, but hinges on fooling a cosmically aware entity, which is impossible." Max replies, but tells of his plan anyways. "Teleport one Earth into a different dimension and declare that you have destroyed it. Really, though, we just have to move it out of the way long enough to survive. After which, we can return it to where it really belongs in the multiverse."

"But out of the infinite universes out there, how can we find which one is ours after we teleport the other Earth?" Daud asks, not clearly mentioning just whose planet is getting nixed into another dimension. Max thought silently for a moment, before returning with a less than satisfactory answer.

"I don't know. Our world has...had...an android that governed spacial teleportation. She is missing, my monitors on her have scrambled to locate her to no effect. She could possibly teleport one Earth elsewhere and then bring it back to where it belongs, but like I said, she's missing and can't be found." He laid his head back against the cool concrete, though, and admitted his original plan for such an event. "I planned for this before, you know, and the plan simply called for destruction of the rival world. I didn't think about saving it."

"Yeah, and I've been too busy being a family man to think of contingency plans anymore." Daud pushed himself to his feet, though, Max looking and watching him as he did so. "But...that's one thing I need for you to do for me, Maxwell." He continued, dusting off his clothing and adopting a calm, collected look. "I need you to figure this debacle out. I'm no good sitting here and thinking, and any action could have irreversible affects on one Earth or the other. We're serving no one just sitting here in an echo chamber, and to me, it's clear that you have the means to think, plan, and execute a means to end this...convergence we're faced with."

"So what are you going to do?" Max asked indignantly, understanding that Daud was not the simple man he tried to make himself appear to be. No, the Mad King saw him for the admirably ruthless, cold calculating mastermind of an in-depth plan formed in mere seconds and under pressure. Surely he wasn't already rolling over and accepting defeat, or thinking himself too small of a player in this game of worlds. That wasn't the Daud Mad Max knew at all.

Daud looked at Mad Max with sincere eyes, flashing to the King of Ur and then towards the ground. "I'm going to go spend time with my family." He said, flooring the Mad King with several emotions at once. He began to walk away from Maxwell, not even offering a farewell or token of partnership. Daud exited through the hole the two of them had made during their brawl. Maxwell wanted to scream at him, that he could spend all the time he wants with his family if he helps save them and countless others...but he couldn't. He didn't know what kind of thoughts raced through Daud's head anymore, it wasn't defeat he was accepting, though. Maxwell understood: It was trust. Daud Almighty placed within Maxwell an unimaginable amount of trust to not only save his own Earth, but both of theirs. Knowing that Max had originally planned to destroy Daud's Earth, he still thrust this unto the Mad King.

He smiled at the action, a gentle smirk that confessed to all that Maxwell didn't know a damn thing about Daud, just that he was far too clever for his own good. The Mad Max stood at the shattered wall where Daud exited from, looking toward the red-tinted sky at the other world. He could end it, absorb it's energy and just be through with the ordeal, but something within him didn't want to let Daud down. His feelings of trust, gratitude, and pride began to wash away in an instant, however, as he felt the energy between Val and Dapp to instantly drop off in Dapp's favor. He feared the worst, and flashed over to her position.

He only got to see Val's calm, fragile body on the asphalt for a split second, until he registered the massive blow that was colliding with his entire front side due to the immense size of Dapp's fist. Earth-breaking was the only way he could describe it, and despite his powers, the Mad King could absorb just some of the energy as the rest passed through him to painful effect. His speed combined with Dapp's sudden stop only served to amplify the energy, impact, and brutality of the hit. Mad Max had no idea the Titan was capable of producing such immense, raw power.

Flying through not one or two, but three whole skyscrapers, Maxwell grew inconceivably enraged at Dapp for harming Val, and instantly stopped his momentum, coming face to face with Dapp, who somehow managed to keep pace with the King's flightpath. Dapp gave him a goofy-ass grin, causing Mad Max to grab ahold of him by the throat with lightning fast hands. His glowed white with power and anger, a bubble forming around Max and Dapp. "I'll rip every piece of energy from your molecules, Dapp." He seethed, "This is the Ragnarok Sanction...it is the heat death of the universe rendered physical. Val is still alive, and that's the only reason you've managed to live this long." He further said, Dapp gritting his teeth as well, the two bringing their faces incredibly close to one another in a violent staredown.

"Funny..." Dapp said, not even choking on his words as the Mad King ringed his neck with incredible force.

"What is?!" Max spat in response.

"It's the heat death...of your universe." Max adopted a confused look for a moment, but felt Dapp's massive hands grab onto his forearms, and like snapping twigs despite the Mad King's enhanced condition, muscles, and physical prowess, broke each of the two bones in Maxwell's forearms by tightening down on them. Needless to say, he let go of Dapp in an instant with a shriek of pain, only to feel the Titan's boots slam into his ribcage as well, sending Maxwell flying towards the ground in a fast, diagonal line. He poured whatever energy he could into fixing his bones, but was stopped as he body began sliding into the ground below. Gritting his teeth, he opened his eyes barely, finding only shock awaiting him. Two boots once more, colliding at the same point as before on his chest, with enough speed and accuracy to force Maxwell underground - the cracking of the surface concealing the snaps of his ribs, sternum, and spine.

Not a moment of rest there, either, as Dapp picked Maxwell up by the neck and treated him like a ragdoll, slamming him back into the ground and further injuring his spine and internal organs, only to grab his leg and fling him in the other direction, smacking the hard ground once more - feeling his ankle, knee, and hip dislocate as they were used to whip him in one direction, and then his skull fragment as it kissed the Earth's surface. Fading in an out of consciousness, Dapp spun the Mad King in a twirl and flung him into a building's lobby, flying through glass and impacting the support beams with his lower back and pelvis. There wasn't a place on his body that didn't scream in antagonizing pain, in fact, this was almost a new feeling for Maxwell, being beaten this badly.

"You couldn't absorb my divine energy, kid." Dapp said, walking through the hole he made with Mad Max, "Because you can only absorb the energy present in your own universe. You could gain the kinetic energy from my awesome hits because it exists in your world, but not the energy in my godly biological cells. Smart, don'cha think?" He gloated, Maxwell sitting up, his wounds bloody and even some bones protruding from his beaten and bruised body. He took deep, erratic breaths as his ribs were broken, one of which impaled his lung, while Dapp had hardly nothing to show for his fight.

"Not smart enough..."

"What's that? Speak up, bud, you want to make your last words count, don'cha?" Dapp replied, a sadistic smile as his face, his footsteps quaking the entire building as he approached Max. The Mad King simply stared at him as he approached closer and closer, his breathing automatic and hardly under his control anymore as his lungs struggled to get more and more air. It was simple panic and emotions that made him lose this fight, in fact, Val seemed to get off rather easy compared to what Max received. "Go on then, talk!"

"I said..." Mad Max wheezed, "Not smart enough!" He declared with a pained looked on his face. Closing his right fist tightly, even through the broken bones, torn blood vessels, and stretched nerves to amount toward an amazing feat of physical willpower, Dapp looked around as the world began to shimmer and shake lazily. In that same instant, he disappeared as if he wasn't even there to begin with. Maxwell nodded to himself, smiling with blood-stained teeth at his less than impressive victory - one that wasn't even a true win because all he managed to do was stop Dapp...for now. It was a simple case of Mad Max using his teleportation device, which he threw in front of himself before the Titan came through the hole, the device managing to be concealed by the rubble. Dapp was within Max's mediation chamber, locked away for now, but that wasn't the end of this, not by a long shot.

The Mad King twitched his fingers some, though, transferring part of his healing process to Val - the young girl simply dealt with a collapsed cervical vertebrae. Maxwell, on the other hand, was more or less a basket case of broken bones. He nodded his head back and forth slightly, no more smile to his face, his self-healing taking time with his stores of energy. He struggled valiantly, though, to remain conscious, but just like he fight with Dapp, it was futile. He slipped away from this world, if only for a moment.
