Osarius Squad for AOCAF Cup 45

Team: Osarius National Football Team (aka "The Firebirds")
Style modifier: +1.5 (counter/possession-based attacking)

Manager: Jermain Lewis
Assistant Manager: Georgina Carsley
Captain: Juan Pablo Rodriguez
Vice-captain: Efrain Suarez
3rd captain: Nicola Costello

Home stadium: Mount Crown Stadium, Burningham (cap. 98,000 all seated)
The Firebirds' home stadium is built at the foot of the imposing Mount Crown, on the outskirts of the capital city, Burningham. Fans are known for their extremely vocal support, and the Osarian national stadium has been described as a difficult place to play. The stats support this notion, as Osarius are undefeated, and have not failed to find the net there under Jermain Lewis. The most vociferous home fans are seated in a kop-esque stand built into the mountainside, with the huge, rocky face behind them adding to the intimidation. The pitch itself is usually made shorter, but wider than most, catering to the short midfield passing game of the Firebirds, and their frequent use of width. Long-ball teams will find it difficult to find space behind the defence, but teams making liberal use of wingers will likely flourish.

There are also two "special" kits, one is white with black and red flames on the front left, and the other is mostly gold (the traditional alternate kit colours) with a red and black bar across the middle, if neither of these is suitable. I'll make these eventually.

My RP Permissions are pretty chill to be honest.
Pretty much anything goes, I only ask that you let me decide the severity of any injuries you decide to RP for me, please.
Send my players off if you must -- if its a player I really didn't wanna lose for the next game, I'll RP an appeal or something.
Oh and at the risk of sounding a bit "RAWR" ... do not kill any of my players or coaching staff (unless I say go ahead via TG).
Killing fans is okay though. Go nuts with that if you like.

Most likely to...
Score a goal: Marco Puntoriero, or to a lesser extent Darell Marshall
Create that goal: Lucio Lazzarani, Nicola Costello or Tobias Clarke
Win a free kick: Lucio Lazzarani or Fabio Mancini
Take (and score) that free kick: Nicola Costello or Tobias Clarke
Win a penalty: Marco Puntoriero, Tobias Clarke or Darell Marshall. Possibly Andrea Poynter.
Take (and score) that penalty: Nicola Costello or Marco Puntoriero
Miss a penalty: Salvatore Laccona or Paolita Bruno
Score a header off a set piece: Fabian Padron or Clemente Jaconelli
Score an own goal: Ramiro Figueroa (mainly because Suarez is insane, though)
Hack an opponent down: Efrain Suarez
Lose their head and get sent off: ...also Efrain Suarez
Commit a professional foul: Suarez again
Argue with the referee: Suarez here too. Also Fabian Padron.
"Disappear" during a match: Fabio Mancini struggles from time to time. As does Zoe Barnes
"Put in a shift": Marco Puntoriero, Fabio Mancini or Paolo Bocchetti
Have an elaborate goal celebration planned out: normally, nobody... but Andrea Poynter has quite the fanbase and she likes to dance...
Get caught stumbling out of a nightclub: yeah, so about Andrea Poynter's dancing...
Do charity work: Clemente Jaconelli, Juan Pablo Rodriguez or Salvatore Laccona
Elicit marriage proposals from fans: Andrea Poynter or Paolo Bocchetti

Firstly, the NSWiki page is no longer accessible... I'll see about fixing that as soon as possible. Sorry!

It's important to note that the team itself generally doesn't consciously defend. They press high up the pitch though and try to win the ball back as quickly as possible, sometimes over-committing, and leaving themselves vulnerable to a swift counterattack. Generally pacy defenders help to alleviate this problem somewhat.

They will also slow down when ahead later in the game, but only so they don't unnecessarily provide opportunities to lose possession and/or concede. This doesn't mean they wont take the opportunity to score if it presents itself, though...

The front line of three is often very flexible, with all three (usually) capable of playing in any of the front three roles at any given time. Most of the time, the centre forward/striker will remain the focal point of the team's central attacking, though, whether they are receiving passes or moving to make space for the wingers.

If there is an attacking midfielder on the pitch, they will likely operate as a "false ten" in tandem with a forward dropping deep (like a "false nine"). Effectively they will be most likely to get onto the end of passes in the final third, and thus score goals. Unless the forward is Marco Puntoriero. Because he is clinical in a manner reminiscent of Ezio "Goalmachine" Grassi.

On the occasions no specifically named attacking midfielder is used, typically it is an indicator that the manager expects a tighter battle for possession in the midfield zone. In these situations, expect Mancini or Barnes to push forward more often, while the third midfielder is a more defensively-inclined option, like Figueroa.

The fullbacks typically overlap a lot -- considering how often the wingers change sides and become "inverted" (i.e. cutting inside the defender on their stronger foot, rather than pulling wide) -- and seem to operate almost as advanced as wingbacks (or even midfielders against considerably weaker teams) a lot of the time, making the system a sort of like a 3-4-3 when Osarius attack, due to Costello (usually) dropping deeper to counter against a potential playmaker "in the hole" for the opposition.

Set piece preferences (in order):
Corner kick takers: Whichever wingers/wide forwards are on the pitch
Penalty takers: Costello, Puntoriero, Lazzarani, Poynter, Clarke, Marshall... then whoever.
Free kick takers: Costello, Clarke or Lazzarani first
Long free kicks: A centre back (usually Padron), or the goalkeeper (only really for offsides, really... or anything within 30 yards of goal because Suarez)

You don't have to stick to all of that, though. It just fits in better with the way I intend to RP my team (when I can).

Something that is important to know is that football isnt the number on sport in Osarius. Its second, to GraviBall, though the gap is closing.

Footballers in Osarius are loved if they make tough tackles, because the combative nature of the game is what the majority of fans like most. Very passionate, are Osarian fans, you see. Sooo... basically, if you're not scoring goals or making crunching tackles, the fans generally aren't impressed. That goes for opponents too... Osarian fans always appreciate a good tackle, so they will even applaud opposition players at times (although they will boo their goals, obvs).

The complicated tactical systems used by modern Osarian teams are well-understood by the fans, and a growing football blogging community within Osarius often has in-depth tactical discussion, and regularly posters show great insight. This is thought to be the result of a general increase in coaching quality throughout the nation, which has also contributed heavily to the national team's increased degree of success in recent years.

From time to time I'll make reference to the area a player is from, and when I do, I will try to add an OOC note to explain what it means (if relevant), because different regions of Osarius have almost entirely different cultures. For example, Tubrissian people's habits and sayings are heavily based on Phoenician/Carthaginian culture and religious beliefs; Islanders -- those from Kyoshiku/Kholanaras Island in the south-west -- have a warrior-centric culture and are quite insular; many Ikutursans worship a malevolent, erisian, serpent deity... and so on.

Manager: Jermain Lewis

Assistant Manager: Georgina Carsley

Coaches: Lorenzo Ruiz, Serenity Lewis, Ayanna Barca-Carthy

Specialist Coaches: Lana Schroeder (goalkeeping), Claudio Traga (fitness)
Traga's constantly evolving fitness plans are immensely popular within Osarius -- it is estimated that 50% of all gym-goers or fitspos in the country follow one of them -- and his reputation is well-earned. His latest method, "mental fitness training", combines his vast knowledge of physical fitness with principles that he has proven -- to some extent -- to assist in the mental aspect of the game. Schroeder's extensive knowledge of the goalkeeper position, has been well utilised by Jermain Lewis. It's not easy to step up and replace probably the best goalkeeping coach in the country since the legendary Enzo Corradini. Particularly not when you're a woman in a sport dominated by men. Schroeder has had no such trouble, however. Her expertise has commanded respect and attention from the most promising custodians Osarius has to offer, and she no doubt seeks to help them become legends in their own right.

Medical Staff: Dr. Clara Cormega (physiotherapist), Dr. Vite Karusiki (team doctor)
Dr. Cormega has quickly formed a strong rapport with key members of the squad, likely due to her sometimes unorthodox, but always effective methods. After having she has spent the better part of the past decade learning from her predecessor and completing her PhD last autumn, Dr. Cormega has combined her knowledge and experience with that of her husband -- Grasshoppers Turic manager Roberto -- to play a significant role in the minimising of injury within the Osarius camp. In a similar vein, Dr. Karusiki's openness to new ideas and strong familiarity with athletic injuries have proven invaluable traits. The two have a strong working relationship, and having both graduated from Utica University, they share something of a bond. Dr. Karusiki's expertise appear to extend beyond the typical medical doctor's remit, however, as he has taken on something of a counselling role; much like his predecessor.

The Squad

As is customary, Jermain Lewis has named an under 25 squad for the AOCAF Cup. Following the "preparation cycle" held prior to World Cup qualifiers last cycle, he seems to have identified the most talented crop of young talent available. In the absence of under 21 competition for Osarius, some youngsters have seen themselves fast-tracked to what is effectively the senior squad.

Jm Tmplr looked across the city skyline, from the balcony of his palace atop Ryl Hl, Drknika was a beautiful place, whether it was day or night. Still, Jym felt troubled. Something in the air made him feel uneasy, like something negative was about to happen. He stood out on the balcony for around five more minutes, before he moved to walk inside.

As Jm opened the door, he heard a loud explosion, almost deafening. He ran to the edge of the balcony, and saw that the Drknkn Wld Trd Cntr, a 160 storey high skyscraper, that served as the business center for over 30 major Drakonikan companies, had exploded in the center of the building and had begun to collapse.

Instantly, Jm thought it was a terrorist attack. After all, the human supremacist group known as the Anti inhuman Sapience League had been making threats against the Drakonikans, and really, only the Drakonikans, although the Equestrian States were apparently on their radar. They had openly admitted to, or more likely, bragged about receiving non-monetary support from the one nation that Drakonikans hated more than anything, if only for one draconian law against Near-Human Intelligence. That nation was The Sarian. Of course, the Sarian government was unavailable for comment, mainly because they don't even so much as speak to non-humans, but Jm had his doubts, the government there may be fascist, but state-sponsored terrorism would be counter-productive.

As Jm was thinking, the Trd Cntr collapsed onto another skyscraper, causing it damage, but not enough to collapse it, although it was pretty much crushed. Jm walked inside and prepared to make a national speech, which would possibly cause panic, and various other ill feelings, but Jm wasn't prepared to start a War on Terror, that would be a stupid idea, from what he had gleaned off of the game known as RLStates.

Jm rang the Prime Minister, Stv Rk and they both prepared to meet at the media room in the palace. This was now a time of turbulence, although little did they realize the AISL has collapsing internally, and was almost dead.

Ibex is a small, mostly-desert, land-locked nation found slightly west of The Inevitable Syndicate. It is populated mainly by "intelligent" Ibexes (goats). They speak, they work, and they pray; that's about it. The other species--pretty much any intelligent four-hooved creature other than ponies, cows, and pigs--tend to be slightly more educated and in administrative or important business positions, while still maintaining their spirituality. The top tiers of government and business are mostly the least-religious Ibexes, and tend to use the Opiate of the Masses as propaganda and a tool of oppression. Humans are advised to avoid visiting if they can; authorization for entry is difficult to obtain, unauthorized humans are usually enslaved, and there's not that much to see, anyway. Except for the hoofball, of course, and also some magnificent Cathedrals if that's your thing.

Kits courtesy of Kirola Sportswear of Audioslavia. The kit actually shown is worn by the team's human Valet; the players will be wearing kits of almost identical design, but shaped properly for their specific species.

The Football Federation of Mertagne Presents...
Image
The Calanian Union National Football Team
For AOCAF 45

The Football Federation of Mertagne was rather annoyed when the official documentation for this cycles AOCAF still showed that the nation was known as The Inevitable Syndicate, a whole two years after the fall of Corvidae and the change of the nation's name to The Calanian Union. You would have thought that, seeing as the host nation of Ratastan isn't that far away, they would have noticed, but what can you do to improve the media? After a strongly worded letter to the organising body (one that was swiftly sent to everywhere else in the multiverse), the squad for the new cycle was revealed to the world.

And it seems it's missing quite a few key members. Birch is gone, for one, Mitchell for another, and it looks like Montier's trying to patch the leaks with some key Mertian players such as Hardeland in order to improve morale and hopefully remain competitive in the AOCAF. The AOCAF Cup is something (along with many other trophies) that the Union has always wanted in their cabinet, and this might be the cycle that they get the win that some have wanted before the nation existed. The old stalwarts are still there, of course, with big names such as Pratt taking to the field, alongside main man Spencer Fox. An attacking squad, then, which makes a change from what we've seen previously from the team.

The squad also sees many players from clubs within the Union, many of which are not playing at the top tier of the LigAnaia. One of the reasons for this is that many Syndicatian players feel that they cannot transfer abroad anymore, due to the nation's regrettable past. Terry Scott spoke to Ekitalida in an interview three months ago, exprerssing his concern for the transfer market, and how "Syndicatians and Mertians alike are experiencing prejudice for things [they] haven't done". He also stated he'd "stay in the Union forever", stating his refusal to negotiate with clubs that assumed he was a "fascist". Other players have also admitted that they felt this way too, but will looking to get themselves out into the multiverse come the next transfer window.

Your favourite defensive team just parked the bus some more

Defensive tactics finally have a matching formation. Ko-oren has always used a 3-2-3-2, with a total of five defensive players, even though all 11 were involved in defending in the course of the match. Now, with the outcries that head coach Rilasthaunden has had his chance and that he never guided the Greenblues to a final, he changed the formation to a more suitable 5-4-1. And not just that: the 'old boys' network' of 23 players has fallen with just 5 out of 23 remaining on the current squad.

The new basic formation is 5-4-1, with some options to go 4-4-2 or 4-5-1. That the strikers will always be a minority is obvious from the roster itself, with just three strikers called for the national team. All of which poachers. A more in depth look at the new formation will definitely follow, but so far we only have one match to judge the new formation by. Bazalonia.

Ko-oren started with Enshadilsa on goal, as always, and a new defence led by Juliasterinthen, the only remaining defender from the old roster. With him we have Davenport, another natural leader, and she can be a link between defence and midfield. Ólafursson is the third central defender. He is the least tactical of the bunch, and the least communicative, but it is a beast our defence needs. Left and right backs are Aoki and Van der Heijden, respectively. Nanami Aoki is the third tactical defender on the starting eleven, and probably the complete opposite of Ólafursson. Small, agile, intelligent and she will probably be responsible for a few crosses and assists. On the other side is Timon van der Heijden, who is simply the best we have on that position currently. Described as the weakest link of the defence, he is still able to do the marking... and the heading.

In midfield are Heilyn and Nascimento, taking care of passing. Heilyn is the more conservative midfielder, while Nascimento should pop up all over the pitch to help. Wakefield and Eregrent play directly in front of them, with Violet Wakefield in charge of the wings while Eregrent is usually the central man. Up front is Narantuyaa Chuluun, a very strong striker (low centre of gravity and that) and we expect a decent amount of goals from her.

In the first game against Bazalonia, it turns out that such a defensive approach would not even be necessary. The back five easily held up against the opponents, while Heilyn even got to do her favourite part of the game: possession. Only one goal this time, and that was when Wakefield launched Eregrent into the box to take over some of the defenders for Chuluun. A clever through ball, a one on one and a goal: 1-0 after 68 minutes. Chuluun came off for Leroux, Bagaurunir came on for Wakefield (who was exhausted) and with a defensive mid, two central mids and just two offence-minded players Ko-oren went into the final twenty minutes. Min replaced Van der Heijden after ninety minutes to run down the clock, but with the minimal effort by Bazalonia, the Greenblues easily kept a clean sheet. A good start to the AOCAF!

Other opponents are New Cloudsdale and Furellum. And to the geography nerds out there: yes, Group C is pretty much the Western AO group. You simply can't get it much more western than we have.

Another loss for the Hornets
7 games, and 7 losses is the story of Greater Watford at the AOCAF. Today, they fell to a 1-0 defeat to New West Guiana. A result like that to a higher ranked side may be predictable, but it still rattles the mind of many Greater Watfordians. The team, largely unchanged from WC69, failed to create opportunities, and questions are alrwady being asked of Alessandro de Rosso.

The Hornets, and their followers, had made the relative short journey north to Ratastan, to begin the tournament. They lined up with #1-#11 starting, in their yellow shirts, and red shorts. The game kicked off relatively calmly, with neither side looking to push too hard to begin with. The earliest opportunity came on the 14th minute for the Hornets, but Mario Mannetti wasn't able to shoot cleanly from Oldfen's through ball. New West Guiana hit back on the counter attack, and Hemsworth did well to turn a powerful shot over the bar.

The first, and only goal came in the 29th minute, when Alex de Cader set up Aaron Rothers with a good free ball past Vincent Warthon. Rothers calmly composed himself before the shot, and sent if curling away from Hemsworth into the net, making it 1-0. New West Guiana kept up the pressure, but the Hornets made sure the deficit was just 1 goal at half time.

In the second half, de Rosso took the gamble on playing Pip Roberto, subbing off Pérez. Roberto brought a renewed edge to the Hornet's frontline, but midfield service was poor, and too many times Harris was skinned, stopping him making a killer run or pass.

Ultimately, New West Guiana held on at the back, to keep the Hornets at bay. Greater Watford had no answer from set pieces, and by the end of the game, the team looked defeated, as they trudged off the pitch. It finished 1-0, but for Greater Watford, they have to find a way to get some form, before this tournament turns into a whitewash. The Calanian Union will be a tough team to meet, and Greater Watford will do well to get something against them, especially on this display.

A bad start

RAT 2 - 1 SEM
Grigoriev 32’, Kokorin 73’ - Karbruck 43'

There was a poor start to Semarland’s AOCAF campaign as they suffered a 2-1 loss in the opening match against the hosts, Ratastan. Both teams looked dangerous early on, but the Semars suffered a major blow in the 12th minute. Ratastani full-back Maksim Grigoriev crossed in, and Andreas Mikkelsen managed to catch it, but fell awkwardly, and had to be substituted. Karlstad was given the benefit of the doubt and put on, rather than Anders Sjelkords. Again, the tricky Grigoriev started the next problem for Semarland; firing the ball past a dumbfounded Karlstad after poor defending from Nicolas Janzaard and Matthias Karbruck.

Semarland had a good chance, after Mads Olsen whipped in a cross only for Marc Lygaard to head wide. Semarland managed to grab an equaliser just before half time, when Eirik Malsen swung in a corner which was subsequently parried away by Traian Romanescu, only to find Matthias Karbruck, who redeemed himself when he struck the ball into the back of the net. No half-changes were made for Semarland, but Ratastan brought on Artyom Kokorin for Shusana Naisdala. Kokorin proved to be a worthy substitute, when on 73 minutes he twisted and turned and curled the ball past Jorgen Karlstad’s reach, winning the game 2-1 for the hosts.

SEMARLAND: Andreas Mikkelsen (Karlstad 12); Matur Eiriksson, Nicolas Janzaard, Matthias Karbruck, Eirik Malsen; Mads Olsen, Adren Christiansen-Hallensburg (Palos 74), Andreas Jansen, Tipio Runen (Carlsberg 81); Demba Cisse; Marc Lygaard

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Someone was stuck last night reading Dickens at a open mike in front of illiterate sailors. David Copperfield was really confusing, especially when the book changed halfway through to Oliver Twist. In the end, there was a riot - mostly because the sailors really disagreed with Fagin's use of plural in the end. And if you didn't read either book, then you probably don't understand what the hell this means, but that's completely irrelevant to what this story is about.

The morning after in the bar, the caretaker of the bar was busily cleaning up the mess when he found an innocuous pair of wooden blocks hidden under an unbroken pint glass. He took a look at the little pieces, picking them up in his hands carefully. They rolled around between his fingers and he glanced them with an inquisitive gander. They were unremarkable to start with, but after he examined them very closely, he quietly deduced that these were chance cubes. With any luck, these would be the chance cubes of Nellie Scout fame. But what were they doing here? And now that he was thinking about, who the hell was David %$#^ing Copperfield anyway?

As soon as the thought was done, he carelessly dropped the blocks onto the floor...

Nellietopia Express Post Journal of Current Events Translated by Freaky Dudes

Underground copulation clubs have sprung up in major cities
NELLIETOPOLIS - In defiance of recent legislation, nellies are reproducing in illicit copulation clubs. Due to increasing difficulty handling overpopulation of the new homeland, the Conclave recently passed new legislation in Nellietopia to limit intercourse while under license. However, it has become troublesome controlling an activity that for most nellies is mere pleasure. Politicians are looking for solutions to this newest impasse. "You have to realize," an official said, speaking on anonymity to avoid retaliation (but everyone knows who did it anyway...), "when anthropes reproduce, they make one, maybe two babies. When nellies reproduce, they make one, maybe two hundred babies." The official added, "On the plus side, the females routinely commit mariticide, engorging on the heads of their mates."

No details are available as to the governments planned recourse. This follows recent concerns in AO and nearby regions that the purple-stinging nellies populations are growing uncontrolled and unhindered, fueled primarily by lack of competition and Nellie Scout merchandise. "We're not sure how to tackle the problem," said one population ecologist from the Nellietopia Institute of Xenobiology (NIX). "We're not even sure there's a problem in the first place. Purple-stinging nellie populations have historically been much higher. We must remember, they were here before us."

Atlantian Oceanian paleontologist Trick Dacy seemingly disagreed with this assessment. "Humans have long populated these shores, long before nellies ever showed up." Ursine revisionists similarly insist otherwise - "It's bearrrrrrs, you nincompoops." A curator from the Bazalonia Museum of Historical Nature offered her insight - "Er, what was the question? And how did you get into my house?" The mace she sprayed was very painful.

In any event, nellie populations continue to grow, even as copulation is limited to a small, privileged minority. The Conclave of Nellies refused to return our requests for an interview.

Ko-oren park bus, assault Bazalonia - Diplomacy to Ensue after a Couple of Shrimps on the Barbie
MEHEDINTI - Reports from the AOCAF in Ratastan suggest that football players from Ko-oren literally parked a bus and handed Bazalonia a serious blow to the AOCAF to their title hopes. Requests for police inquiry went unheeded, and the local hospital in Mehedinti refused to acknowledge the presence of "an entire %$#^ing country sitting in the ER ward, because it's just ludicrous to think that. Who the hell are you people and how the %$#^ing hell do you keep getting into my house?" Our local political analyst suggests that while the people of Bazalonia are a very relaxed sort, they will not tolerate the minute risk of damage to their prized kumquat plants - the like of which "bus assault will certainly increase [the risk of damage to their prized kumquat plants]".

Wait, Wait, Don't Fry Me!
TURNU-SUCEAVA - Owing to a player shortage in the midst of the copulation crisis in Nellietopia, a makeshift team was sent to Ratastan to compete in this edition's AOCAF. Only one player was sent, in fact - a frying pan. In fact, the official Nellie Scout Frying Pan - official mascot of the Nellietopian National Football Team. An official from the Nellietopian FA released a statement: "We remain confident that our mascot can continue to inspire our national team, especially now that our mascot is our team."

The Mendoyan National Football Team

Introduction-

As the Corvidae around the multiverse exerted their power overseas by invasions the civil war strapped Nationalist Felixians wanted to show that Felix also could flex their muscle. So the Felixians made a colony in Atlantian Oceania and called it Mendoya. The colony started off humble and small with only 1,000 people but by the time Mendoya entered the 45th edition of the AOCAF the colony grew to a modest population of 20,000. With the capitol, Cordoba taking up 15,000 of those 20,000 men, women and children. The following team consists of non-professional football players. These players come from all walks of life from Mendoyan sailors in the Felixian Navy to a simple carpenters or chefs. The Mendoyan national team is a great example of a people's team devoid of professionalism. The team is coached by former Unión Española assistant manager, Mario Gomez. He has experience coaching in the youth academy of Dusseldorf F.C and of course, being assistant manager at Unión Española. He has no relation to Mendoya other than the fact he was offered a chance to coach there. With that over and done with, here is the official roster of the Mendoyan National Football Team.

Harrison George, a human living in New Drakonika, which in itself was quite rare, was writing a blog post, as well as uploading a video. Said video was the AISL's claim of the terrorist attack on the Drknkn Wld Trd Cntr that had happened 10 minutes prior, Harrison was the so called "leader" of the Drakonikan faction. The video had been pre-recorded three days prior, and featured the beheading of a random dracon. That dracons body was still hidden within the bunker from which Harrison lived.

He finished the upload and the blog post, and went on to the AISL's private intranet, which blasted the message "TAKEN DOWN BY NDCIA, YOUR VISIT HAS BEEN LOGGED". Harrison freaked out, and sure enough, 20 minutes later, NDCIA agents burst through his door. Harrison managed to gun down 4 of them before falling to a multitude of bullets from the remaining NDCIA agent. All this before the Kingdom's address of the nation.

Jm recieved the news three hours before the address was to start, and he asked the media to keep it quiet until he made his speech. They agreed. King Jm was expecting a small crowd of media, especially with a terrorist attack happening so close to home. Another thing to worry about was the anti-human sentiments that would inevitably fly around social media. Same thing was happening in the RLStates game's "Western world" which was waging a war against some terror group named "Islamic State".

Jm realised he was making too many comparisons to RLStates, and needed to get rid of his addiction to that game. But that was an issue for another time, as the speech was to be made in 2 hours.

Marcus Haugen wasn't exactly excited for the game.

Sure, he was desperate for redemption after his missed penalty kick at the Empire Reunion Cup and his gaff against Miklandia the week after. But Osarius seemed like the worst team to do it against. Even with a young squad, they were one of the best teams in the world, and the possession-based attacking Firebirds seemed like the worst team for redemption.

The other Starlings seemed positively giddy, Marcus thought. They were excited for their first taste of international competition outside of the Reunion Cup - Osarius, an Atlantian legend. But Marcus thought differently. The twenty-six-year-old wasn't playing because he loved the game. He was playing because he had to feed his parents somehow and he didn't have any other talent besides defending.

"Pumped?" asked Isak Andersson, walking past Marcus's seat. Andersson had none of Haugen's problems: he was from a wealthy family and loved playing football.

"I guess," Marcus replied. He stood up slowly and walked to his locker to change.

The Starlings had warmed up quickly and were now watching their opponents when Isak Andersson returned from an unknown journey.

"Did you hear?" he said quickly. "There's a Llamanean scout watching. Said he's from FC Denison."

Marcus was pessimistic but not stupid. The Llamanean leagues paid far better than Hakifao did, and Denison was close enough to Hakifao - two or three hours by plane - for Haugen to fly back and forth. The game, formerly a putative rout, gained meaning.

"Is he looking at Osarians?" Alex Pederssen, a left-back, asked.

"No!" came the enthusiastic reply.

The game progressed quickly. Osarius came out not playing their best starting lineup but still managed to control possession early on. The defenders found themselves scrambling to keep the Firebirds out of the box, especially the dangerous forward-halfback Lazzarani, whose runs gave Hakifao heart attacks minute after minute. The team's back four struggled to hold against the attack, Isak Andersson fending off a few shots, but after thirty minutes the score remained nil-nil.

In the thirty-first minute, things changed. Darell Marshall lost a ball in the corner, and Alex Pederssen cleared it. By some miracle (Pederssen later claimed skill), the ball dropped next to Elias Borg, who immediately took the opportunity and ran with it.

Osarius, pushed forwards, quickly retreated. But Borg's pass bounced to Oscar Lindqvist. And it was Lindqvist who slammed the ball past Ephraim Suarez. One-nil, Starlings.

The Firebirds, now jarred into action, pushed back, their possession game starting to falter. The passes were no longer as crisp, Lazzarani's driving runs no longer as terrifying. With the score no longer tied, the dynamics of the game changed completely. Osarius didn't seriously threaten again, and the Hakifaos went into the half up by one.

In the second, things got worse for the favorites. Just out of kickoff, Herlek Korhonen received a short pass, spun, and took off, passing Gallardo and Costello before either knew he had done so. Once again Osarius went into retreat, but this time the final blow didn't come as quickly. After a few skirmishes in the box, Elias Borg banged one off of Suarez for a corner. It was Borg to take it, and his lofted pass was headed into the goal by Daniel Niemi. Suddenly, the Firebirds, expected to rout Hakifao, were down two to nil.

Now in full-bred panic, Osarius continued to go all-out for a goal. In the eighty-third minute, they finally got one, Tobias Clarke slamming a free-kick off the right post and in. The Starlings, however, still thought they had three points clinched, despite Jermain Lewis's desperate substitutions of the team's best remaining attackers.

And then Puntoriero, after getting a nice pass from Lazzarani, beat Andersson and found an open goal.

Instantly all of Hakifao flinched. The striker took a step, then quickly wound up to pound in an equalizer-

And then a sprinting Marcus Haugen tackled him from the side, sending a shot spinning into the corner, where Pederssen quickly recovered it. Haugen, lying down, glanced up and noticed the Llamanean scout jotting notes.

The Osarians never threatened again.

Victory.
"The Hakifaos look like a million bucks, doesn't them? They just looks like someone you want to stick in your... Esportiva."
"I'm glad you finished that sentence the way you did. "
"They'd murder me in the sack. "

Dainer: I think he's making a valid point, Mikoto.
Ecosse: THANKS!
Mikoto: If you're on his side, I'll gladly slam you too on this wall.
Dainer: Nevermind... you're on your own, Ecosse.
Ecosse: WHAT!?

SLAM!

Ecosse: OK! OK! I'll tell you where I took him, but I don't know anything else bar that!
Mikoto: *phew*

Mikoto dropped Ecosse to the ground after slamming him so much on the wall of his office. Following her were Dainer and GAS, sent so that she wouldn't be one-sided if the Astyrians were interested on pulling some tricks.

Ecosse: Ugh... You know how much it's going to cost to get rid of this headache, you b-
GAS: You know how she acts when she's pissed. If I were you, I wouldn't tempt logic sense.
Ecosse: Sorry, sorry. Look, all I can tell you is that they're at a hidden Astyrian lab... But it's a secret location, not sure of where it is.
Mikoto: You're not the head of Astyria?
Ecosse: Of course not. Nobody knows who is the head of Astyria. And even then, it would be very easy and simplistic for the head of somewhere to be found in a mere office. I just got promoted, that's it.
Dainer: Promoted from working at a market to go to an office? Classy. Next promotion is working on a ship, I take.
Ecosse: Now that you mention it, we were supposed to start a ship business and-
GAS: Get back to the point. You don't have anything that could give us at least a decent detail over where Sunrise is?
Ecosse: Well... I got this from the headquarters, but I never really checked it.

Ecosse reached to a videotape and booted it at an old VCR.

Voice-Over: Sunrise, car salesman. A man barely alive.
Gentlemen, we can rebuild him.
We have the technology.
We have the capability of making the World's first non-natural bionic NationState.
Sunrise will be better. Better than he was before.
Better. Stronger. Faster.

The videotape finished, Ecosse turned off the VCR.

Dainer: Begginer's question. Why do you still have a VCR?
Ecosse: Plot demands.
GAS: Do you think we could find whoever made this tape's destiny via computer or something?
Ecosse; Never tried... though then again, I doubt that would really be too much impor- OK, I forgot. Pissed Mikoto. But aye, that probably will do.
Mikoto: Then let's go find someone that could help us at that.

Meanwhile on Other World.

Sindy: I don't know why we're here.
???: Wight left you both here so that you would stop annoying him whenever you felt like discussing your past.
Sunrise: At a football training? Of a professional club, no less!?
???: Certainly. That way you can both have peace of mind with each other while you don't return to normal and Southcoast has enough of a space to do that.
Sunrise: And who are you, anyways?
???: I'm the team's coach. Scott Walker, nice to meet you.
Sindy: Nice to meet you too, Mr. Walker.
Sunrise: Kiss ass.
Sindy: Moron.
Scott Walker: Shut up! Now go train! We have a match against Prince Rupert tomorrow!
Sunrise: ...One of the two strongest sides of the Other World?
Sindy: ...This is going to be ugly.

The updated Travelers Guide to the AO

Day One
Image
West Guiana

It is early morning as I get up here in Port Salem, what a beautiful coastal city even though it is located on a lake, matter of fact the largest lake in the whole of Atlantian Oceania. Today I will be leaving my beloved West Guiana and onto my mutli-day and multi-week journey through out the region, my plan has been clear from the start by traveling to every nation within the region by boat or if necessary by plane. The goal is to under stand the many, many cultures that make up this region to which we all call home. The boat or should I say yacht that i'll be navigating with is a simple seventy footer, it was a steam ship but since has been converted to diesel. Not over the top but a nice home away from home.
Image

It is now six am, and i'm off, no need to hurry, well actually yes there is, my plans have me arriving at the Port of Gemsbrook by mid morning, pending how busy the gateway Canal is. Anyhow, I slowly take her into the Salem River, five years ago seeing a yacht of this size going up the river was un-heard of, but now after the dredging of the river, well not so impressive, due to the fact of the many container ships that pass by every day. When I first arrived early this morning I took a picture of this city skyline, so elegant a reason why it is called the golden city. Now as I travel under several bridges I see the rest of the city is starting to wake, traffic increases and taxis increase in number. Soon i'll be going through middle-class neighborhoods and single family homes, many have been built in the past fifty years of so, before 1960 Port Salem was a medium size city just over one million, but after silver and gold was found in the bottom of several creeks near by people started to come from all around.

An hour latter I have reached the start of the Gateway Canal, a massive project this was and cost a bit of money, at one point over 7,000 people were working on building this! But now it is open and ships can pass through only having to pay a small fee based on the size of the ship, for me it's just under WG300, this fee is simply to help pay off the massive debts that this canal has built up over the eleven years it took to build, the government is on tap to pay up over 100 million. The landscape our the nation changes with almost every mile, it is late September and as a sail through into the rural areas of Myto, I can see barges getting ready for the corn and soybean harvest, a few waiting hoppers on the railroad to un-load from the grain elevators. About another hour I'm entering into the Port of Gemsbrook, our capitol and the largest city in West Guiana at over 16 million people with in a 100 mile radius, little compact, which is why I no longer live there, but the culture of the city is fantastic. The city represents the nation well, bustling financial district with CEOs and business executives walking about worrying about the bottom line, Union members striking over un-fair labor laws that some think favor the rich over the working poor. Then travel down into the Hipster areas, gay pride, people smoking a joint(which is legal), artists showing off their work on a wall, but now I am starting to sail out of the St, Johns river and out into the Calania Sound.

Kryosis

My first international stop is the unkown Empire of Kryosis, I don't know much of this nation and other than their southern Nieghbor it seems very few know much as well. As I come close to the shoreline I don't see much at all, the land looks to be dead, something is tell me not to land and I do not. As I search through the Internet about this mysterious land I see why, the ruler is by all means a psychopath rules with what it seems to be with a iron fist, outsiders seem to be scared to death of out the country is all about. And well I'm going to wimp out if you would say that and avoid this one at all costs and continue south, my humble opinion Kryosis is to be avoided. It appears that their only contact with the outside world lies with in Osarius to which I'll be head towards next.

Image
Osarius

I have met people from there a few times and on those occasions they seemed friendly, but alas I don't know as much as I wish I did. The only information that I have if that the nation is a monarchy of some type, how ever though the nation is split up into four cultures(that I know of) all that live happily I guess. The cultures are: Tubrissian, Phoenician/Carthaginian, Islanders and Ikutursans. Like any nation and its people these cultures feed off each other and incorporate their different ideals into their own a true melting pot. As I landed I could see right away their heavy nationalistic pride for the national soccer team, many barraging me because of my own nationality during this AOCAF edition it didn't bother me they are excited and ready to watch as their team goes onto victory.

I ventured into the capital, quite beautiful many people who were getting ready for the next match encouraged me to vist their national stadium which they said is one of a kind. I did so and I was awed, a stadium built at the base of a towering mountain with some seats built right into the rock! A older man told me that they the team have never lost here, I was not about to doubt that, if I do remember I believe team WG did play there once and lost. Obviously during this time of year when the AOCAF starts people are quite concerned how the team does and how intimidating they can be towards opposing teams.

Between the peoples spirit when it comes to sports and the nations many cultures and melting-pot in other areas I will recommend this nation to visit. Many people from all over could learn from their ways.

Hmm, this one is tough to crack, very mysterious even when I was searching for information I couldn't find anything on them. When I docked a fog had developed and as it was late at night I couldn't do much. I would recommend this nation to visit but be cautious I am sad that my travel here hasn't given much information, but hopefully people will come and find out more.

HOLDING ON
Austenersey’s narrow loss to #1 rank Farfadillis provides hope for the team’s AOCAF Cup future

Isratanbul, RATASTAN - The Austenersian AOCAF team were never expected to win their first game; it was rather cruel that the team’s first game in the 45th AOCAF Cup in Ratastan would be against the first ranked Farfadillis. However, the Eucalypts wouldn't go down without a fight - at least, that's what coach Nicholas Willoughby told the team in before the game at Kare Boğalar stadium, in the Ratastan city of Isratanbul.

"The odds are stacked against us," Willoughby began. "But we've come all this way, we might as well put in some effort." In his regular job as Mont Alban Glory coach, Willoughby would be on the field to drive up the crowd's excitement, but he was taking this very seriously.

The Eucalypts played their best game since forming three weeks earlier, with the 4-4-2 position holding well. Cautley United keeper Conrad Bösch was unstoppable, saving all of the Farfadillis goal attempts in the first half. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing, with Tigers midfield Dannie Clark left with a dislocated ankle following a poorly executed sliding tackle. Speaking to the Herald post-game, Clark said that there was no guarantee he'd be on the mend by the time the League-A competition starts up in late-November. More with Dannie Clark - Page 42-44

While the two teams came out of the first half locked at nil all, an intercept from United defender Josiah Papke looked promising, but a wayward kick from Jets forward Hugh Oakley kept the scores even. The Eucalypts continued to hold well, equaling the Farfadillis defense until the 61st minute, where Bösch let through the only goal of the night. The Eucalypts kept fighting, but by the 74th it was clear it was all over.

Tomorrow, Austenersey take on 28th rank The Royal Kingdom of Quebec. Willoughby says the side is confident going into the next round against the neighboring Quebecois, warning that there may be a few surprises along the way.

from the Oceanside Press-Gazette:

Grandview's Goal Lifts 95X to Victory
EAST-RATXFORDSHIRE, RATASTAN—Twenty-four thousand watched a scoreless tie break in the closing minutes of the Matchday One game between 95X and Weimania, on a spectacular throw-in kick by Myrshyll Grandview in the 84th minute.

"We needed the win, and we got it," Grandview said after the game, which was also his first on the 95X National Soccer Team.

Xi Foureleven and Floyd Commando both took multiple shots at the goal, though the element of surprise finally saw the ball to sail into the net.

95X will next face perennial foes Vilita & Turori. 95X Head Coach Marvin Stark says the team is prepared to switch things up to turn the tables against the Eel-Cat Things.

Postby Osarius » Thu Sep 25, 2014 5:23 pm

The infuriating Osarian habit of playing to the opposition reared it's head again last night as the Firebirds slumped to a 2-1 upset loss against Hakifao Isles. Some will point to the illness that disrupted Jermain Lewis' normally meticulous preparations by taking key players Fabio Mancini and Fabian Padron out of the starting lineup, but players of this level should be able to adjust adequately, shouldn't they?

Analysis of the game shows that the absence of Fabio Mancini in midfield may have been a much more important factor than many would like to admit. The teenager's energy links attack and defence for the Firebirds in a manner that has seen many label him a long term replacement for normal captain Roque Acosta (who is of course absent from this under 25 squad). "Fabio doesn't stop. He's amazing like that, makes my job a lot easier." Costello revealed. "You can always count on him to be nearby at all times. Even if you just saw him bomb it fifty yards forward." Heatmaps show that Munoz, for all his efforts, did not have a comparable presence in the midfield battleground. Repeatedly, the Hakifao Isles managed to overwhelm the Firebirds in midfield, using this as a platform to launch counterattacks. The irony was not lost on Jermain Lewis.

"There are no excuses." Lewis admitted. "They beat us at our own game. Caught us napping and punished us, we'll have to improve in the remaining group stage matches." The Osarius boss is known for his candid assessments of his players, and didn't hold back post-game. "I can sit here and try to explain it all I like, but they were better. We didn't do our due diligence, we had the wrong game plan, and we let the early goal throw us off. It's on us." Team captain Juan Pablo Rodriguez echoed the manager's sentiments, acknowledging that "[the team] could have, should have done better".

Following an impressive World Cup campaign, and elevation to second in the world rankings, there are high expectations on Osarius at the AOCAF Cup, despite Lewis not naming his best twenty-three. Some are beginning to question whether this group of youngsters has the necessary mental strength to handle it. "This kind of struggle didn't happen ten, fifteen years ago, did it?" Roberto Cormega wonders. "I'm all for backing the kids, but I do wonder if the lack of competitive football at under 21 and below is hamstringing our promising youngsters." Cormega's thoughts are not new. In recent years, the OFA have failed to send a team to the Di Bradini Cup, and have completely overlooked the possibility of entering teams in other youth competitions. The withdrawal of Osarian clubs from UICA competitions cannot have helped, either -- given UICA's launching of a Youth Cup in the past decade -- though the merger of Osarian League of Association Football (OLAF) and LigAnaia will address this, perhaps. Unfortunately, the re-integration of Osarians into international club football and international youth competition will be too late to benefit this current crop of players. Many are hoping that this slip up is exactly that. A slip up. The alternative is that Osarius' status as an elite footballing nation will be all-too-fleeting, and will pass without permanent memento. Unthinkable, surely?

"There is a secret colony that Lazzaro is setting up. It's called Mendoya." - Carlton Thurstan

---

Two Years Ago, Days After The Nationalist Coup

Santa Maria, Felix

"Congratulations on a successful coup! My Generalissimo!" Began a very happy, Carlton Thurstan, a trusted friend and head of the intelligence arm of the Nationalist Party, "I have made contact with our newly found Corvidae allies and we are included in the group. We got sent a flag of Felix with the new Corvidae symbol." Lazzaro Passerini smiled widely, "That's great. Very great. I hope to meet Lex Crowley for once and talk about the future of the Corvidae in Felix." Carlton smiled and then hugged his friend, "I think Felix will do great things for once in this country's history. I dream that one day we will be ruling the multiverse with all our Corvidae friends." Lazzaro tilted his head, "You really think we will make it that far?" Carlton laughed, "I don't think we'll make it that far. I know." And on that note Carlton left the room leaving Lazzaro eager to know what his best friend had in store.

One Week Later

At this point the newly founded Nationalist Republic started to see problems arise as a anti-Nationalist movement was gaining steam in Felix. The civil war was about to start. The newly made Felixian Intelligence Agency (FIA) started to report massive shipments of arms to the Kaji areas of Felix. Lazzaro was angry beyond words and as a punishment revoke the citizenship of all Kajis in Felix and prepared an army to crush that impeding rebellion. Lazzaro was sitting in the Presidential Desk throwing a ball in the area trying to rid his mind off the stresses of being a leader. Carlton, a friend that he hasn't seen in weeks came in the front door, "Carlton," began the Generalissimo, "Its been awhile, how's it been?" Carlton sighed, "Busy. But I have good news." Lazzaro perked his head up, "I am listening." Carlton was about to speak but decided to stop and asked Lazzaro to close the doors. He did.

"Ok, Lazzaro. I have an idea to increase our influence and make us look good to the Syndicate. We are going to make a colony. It is going to be a secret but Lex will know eventually once things are set up." Lazzaro was a bit puzzled, why would Felix set up a colony now? Especially since a civil war was imminent? Carlton seemed to read his mind like a book, "Now, I know what you're thinking. Why now? This a perfect time to set up a back up. I am not a pessimist but I am realist with touch of optimistic hope. But let's be real for a second, what if don't win? We need a back up. And what better way to have a back up than to have a colony somewhere in the AO." Lazzaro thought for a second and smiled, "I like that idea Carlton. I like it a lot. But when are we going to set this up?" Carlton smiled, "Not any time soon, friend, but it will happen."

Lazzaro nodded and Carlton began to walk away but the new leader of Felix had one more question to ask, "What will this colony be called Carlton?" Carlton turned around, "We're thinking of calling it Mendoya. But we haven't decided on it." Lazzaro liked the name, "Mendoya it is." Carlton laughed, "You don't even want to hear the other possible names?" Passerini shook his head, "No, I don't, Mendoya is perfect." Thurstan nodded, "I'll tell the planners back in the FIA about that. Alright, goodbye Lazzaro." "Goodbye Carl." responded the Generalissimo. It was that exact moment when the wheels began to go and Mendoya was about to be the newest addition to the Nationalist Republic of Felix.

To be continued...

Better, much better

SEM 4 - 2 FLO
Lygaard 19’, Cisse 26’, Carlsberg 65’, 83’ - MF 67', FW - 90+1' (pen.)

The whole of Semarland watched in joy as a much better Semarland side triumphed to a 4-2 victory over Florgania. Semarland went to the match missing three players - goalkeeper Mikkelsen, defender Nicolas Janzaard who took a knock in training and Braanko Jaanssen who felt unwell. Also, Matur Eiriksson was moved into centre-back to replace Janzaard. But that did not repel the Semars, who opened the scoring on the 19th minute with a sweet, well-struck volley which came after superb play down the wing from Tipio Runen, whose cross was headed away by a Florganian defender, falling out to Lygaard 32 yards out who smashed it home. The Semars doubled their lead after a perfect solo goal from Demba Cisse, weaving past the opposition defenders with a mazy dribble before slamming the ball home.

Semarland then brought on Lars Carlsberg for the second half, who really proved to be the star of the show. He had numerous attempts which were well saved by the Florganian goalkeeper. He finally netted on the 65th minute, after Matur Eiriksson’s cross in found the head of Carlsberg, who headed home with an absolute bullet header. However then a Florganian midfielder found the back of Jorgen Karlstad’s net after sloppy defending from the aforementioned Matur Eiriksson. Carlsberg grabbed a second after a corner from Mads Olsen. But on the 91st minute, Matur Eiriksson was sent off for a foul on a Florganian player. The player converted the resulting penalty, but that was only a consolation goal as Semarland went on to win 4-2.

SEMARLAND: Jorgen Karlstad; Knut Svensson, Matur Eiriksson, Matthias Karbruck (Halck 88), Eirik Malsen; Mads Olsen (Kalsabur 86), Demba Cisse, Andreas Jansen, Tipio Runen; Jakob Larsen (Carlsberg HT), Marc Lygaard

Call me Ishamael. Or call me Ichabod. I'm not sure I remember my name at all. Actually, why am I writing this anyway? Oh yes, I remember - it was the day that I came upon a ship. It was such a quaint little ship, that as one examined it in its nest among the other ships, you would imagine it simultaneously unremarkable and spectacular. I carried with me an old carpet bag suitcase, as large as a great Dane, perhaps as heavy as well. Inside, I carried my whole wealth, seeking an eye for adventure and escape. This quaint ship became my escape, and I sought entrance upon it.

A man guarded the plank - an elderly man with an air of authority yet nothing particular to distinguish him aside from the miniscule wrinkles that his age and experience. He was seated in old oaken chair, which groaned as he rocked it at that end of the plank. An old blue jacket clothed him, adding a splash of color to skin that even tempered and tanned by the sun. As he rocked there, teething on an old cob pipe, I inquired of him: "Is this the captain of the ship?"

"Aye, and if this be the captain of the ship, what would thou need of him?"

"I was thinking of shipping."

"Aye, and dost thou know of whaling?"

"No, sir; but I am sure that I could learn."

"Havest thou found the head of the headless horseman?"

The question was odd, and I thought at that moment to leave the ship, but the old man opened up a great book from under his rocking chair. "If thou dost wish to sail the seas to find the head of the headless horseman, then thou seal thyself into this book." Whereupon he opened the book and there lay two cubes of small dimension. He took the cubes and handed them to me, and I queerly examined them. Chance cubes, as it were.

"Shall I toss these?" I asked of the old man.

"Nay, keep them and never toss them. Lest ye taken by whims of an angry, vile man."

"I'm sorry, I cannot take these. I have no pockets." At the time, it seemed reasonable to reject them kindly. The old man nodded and said, "Well, kindly send them to me." Then I carelessly let the cubes from my grasp. I can say in those moments that he man lunged for those cubes like nothing else matters. I cannot say what exactly transpired, but whatever happened in those short moments before the cubes hit the ground, I must regret that they were ever done.

Nellietopia Express Post Journal of Current Events Translated by Freaky Dudes

Tourists invade Nellietopia; Conclave plans great Reaction
NELLIETOPOLIS - Recent attempts by a West Guinea traveler to spur an increase tourism have succeeded in starting the greatest invasion of Nellietopian territory in recent history. In response, the Conclave of the Nellies has decided to increase the price of all Nellie Scout merchandise: "When the demand increases, the prices should increase as well." This question has started a fury of economic debates. Famed Krytenian orange-shirt economic John Milton Keynes suggested the following: "Interest rates need to be slashed and more money needs to be pumped into the market! If they wish to make more money, those nellies need to encourage the tourists to spend even more money on even more stupid merchandise." Famed Starbladyi economist Ricardo di Bradini offered a different perspective: "Well, it's best to analyze how much money each item of merchandise earns the Nellie Scouts. Perhaps they should look to sub-contract their merchandise production abroad to Audioslavia or Paripana, where they can get good rates for making their delicious cookies." Another famed economist from Schiavonia - Johann Frederich von Malthus suggested this: "AHHHHHHHH! NELLIES! THEY'RE HERE TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE! WE'RE ALL DOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo..."

Needless to say, the Nellies just want to get rid of these excess tourists - in the spirit of all that is good with the Nellie Scout Cookies, the Nellie Scouts have announced a new special Nellie Scout Tourist Cookie - made with fresh tourists. Buy one today, and help Nellies get rid of their tourists.

Wait, Wait, Don't Pan Me!
TURNU-SUCEAVA - A loss for Nellietopia's official mascot Nellie Scout Frying Pan was very harshly received. It was a disappointing 3-2 loss, during which the TV cameras continued to pan in on the frying pan. Criticism of the frying pan's success in the tournament was quickly and quietly panned by the Censors, who panned the discussions with a frying pan. In post match remarks, the Nellie Scout frying pan panned the pan on the panning fans who continually panned a panning chant. Pan pan pan.
