Conveying her feeling to Drova would come later. For now, she just glanced his way and nodded, which was better than Myra and Marcus had done. He was still her "wrastlin' buddy" from yesterday.
And on to the dance. "I don't feel comfortable, dancing in front of so many strange people, especially if we don't go to that school...but, if you guys want to, then I'll go with it. If not, why don't we have our own little dance, with dates and all?"

She had heard rumors around the Air Force that the Field Marshal was starting to employ angels to help combat and repair the damage to the noosphere that occurred when the C-Consciousness tried to bend it over and have their way with it, only for it to sock it right back to them. She looked to the vendor. "Okay, you're on." She pulled out a bright brass 5.45mm bullet and handed it to the man. "I'll give it a shot."

He cast his eyes about and found nothing suitable. Perhaps there was a curtain or a piece of art hanging on the wall?
"Just a little further," he coaxed. "Almost to the door."
The door didn't turn out to be too promising. The stench of of toxic run off and year old blood assaulted Deuce's senses. He blinked into the darkness and took a protective step towards Dora.
Giovenith wrote:"Caaaaaaaar-nee-vahl!" cheered Willow, suddenly popping out of the cider with an enthusiastic splash, sporting a horrifyingly uncharacteristic, happy, toothy smile. "It's called a car-nee-vahl! Where rainbow smiles are born and lollipops cry tears of wonder! Ohmygush, Cereal..." Or so Cerril's name now sounded like. "... I loooooove fluffy things. So fluffy! Do it! Do it!"
Something rather crazy (and perhaps a little scary) happened to Willow Streaks whenever he had too much cider to drink. It was like pushing the pony through one of those opposite world portals that were always being pulled as a wild card in some media that permitted it. The typical cynical shut-in was sucked away screaming into some inescapable black hole, and replaced with a doppelganger that would gladly play with patty-cake with Pinkie Pie or agree to help somepony start up their new pet shop business specializing in fluffy kittens. It was the kind of pony that regular-Willow would turn around and run as fast as he could away from, which meant it was pretty lucky for him that they were the same stallion. Or not. Depending on how you wanted to spin it.
" 'Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, Everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together, Brighter than a lucky penny, When you're near the rain cloud disappears, dear, And I feel so fiiiiiiiine just to know that you are miiiiiiine...' " Willow sang rather badly, while making little splishy-splashes with his front hooves and smiling brightly at them. A baby watching keys jiggled in front of it's face couldn't have been more amused.
Willow generally later forced all of the few friends he had to never speak of these moments again. Ever.

He hopped off Namal's shoulder, and had expanded to 20 feet long before he hit the ground. Sadly, though, he'd forgotten to make himself taller or wider; so he looked like a rabbit that had been kept in a long, narrow box and given steroids. A dachsrabbit, more or less.
You think and then you are, or you do. All is real. Touch, eat, smell, see. With another thought, a rain of honey showered down five feet ahead of them, and MB bounded off to start drinking it.
"...That's quite interesting, fuzzy thing. So we can do anything, eh? That should be fun." Namal said, summoning up a drink from his homeland to start drinking. It was a deep green color, and smelled like some kind of exotic and alien fruit. It wasn't a bad smell by any measure, just very unique. The Khydir moved the cup in a circle to swish the liquid around, showing off that it had a consistency much like a fruit juice. He then gulped down a few mouthfuls before taking a breath, grinning a bit and glancing back to the cat still on his shoulder.
"Should be fun being able to do anything right, little friend? We could be anything we want here!" He still looked the same, but his clothes, which before had been basically just clothes from this world, had shifted to something a bit like a toga, that wrapped around his back in a way that made sure his wings were completely free, while still providing plenty of cover. He sighed happily and glanced around what he was seeing as his old home city, before starting to walk over to see what else was in the immediate area, including the strange rain that the fuzzy thing had created.

Nick, mid-leap (from Namal's other shoulder) and intending to scamper towards the formerly small mammal who now resembled a quadrupedal worm, wished that he could be there faster- and then he was under the golden rain next to MB, getting thoroughly drenched. Opening his mouth, he tasted the honey and made a face. His nose bumped one of MB's many ribs. <Yuck!>
That was when he noticed that his fur felt unusually heavy. He started to lick it to clean himself and found that it was covered in a layer of rain-liquid, and the rain-liquid was insanely sticky. While attempting to get it out of his eyes, the cat with an abnormally large head bumped into the rabbit whose belly almost certainly violated the square cube law.
<Why on earth do you like this stuff? It's horrible! (Sensation of nose fur ssllooowwwllllyyyy pulling away from honey-coated tail fur)(Sensation of sickeningly saccharine taste)>

Ssssssssssssssss! was the only answer at first, and then MB rolled over to Nick - and was stuck there, fur to fur, as he'd also been thoroughly covered by the honey. It is glorious, no? Very full of energy and suchlike. Annoying to clean, but we're next to ocean! Easy then.
Another thought turned it watery, and raining sideways instead, so no more fell on the cat and the rabbit. MB began hopping about trying to catch some more in his mouth, like a whale breaching and for some reason grabbing snowflakes. If that was possible.

New Aksarben wrote:Albert scowled and peered into the darkness, trying to figure out just what was in there that would emit such a horrible stench. It reminded him of some of the wars of his youth, when the use of chemical and nuclear weapons was still common. The leftovers from the earlier era of warfare that ended in the Great War. Many had lasted until at least a thousand years after, and had been used as new polities expanded and conflicted. It also smelled like the run off of some factories he'd seen earlier in his countries history, before pollution regulation. His nation had also used slave labor for quite a while so it wasn't uncommon for dead slaves to be dumped along with waste from the factories, and it made a horrible scent.
"....I get the feeling we should not go back through that door, but where else could we go?" Albert said hesitantly, glancing over towards Deuce and Dora. His tail was low to the ground, and he continued swatting back at the things harrassing them, trying his best to keep them away from Dora, seeing as she was the only one without Armor. "So..... 'Once more unto the breach'?"

"Hey, I'm too colorful to be stained red!" she protested playfully, and imagined oversized plush roses materializing in the turret barrels. A backflip in midair had her landing a handstand, before she bounced back up and connected with another propulsion gel patch that took her through a portal that had formed halfway up a tree. Slowing down time around herself for an instant, she counted rings - thirty-fourthirty-fivethirty-six and then shot out the other side, still laughing. In her helmet, visor, cape and armor bracers, she looked like a caricature of a superhero.
Now disabled, the turrets were not quite sure what to do. So they began to sing with the plush roses waving about. "Nice going Tex!" Stephen complemented Chrys as he flew back into the air. "I wonder what would happen if I shot at the moon?" He pondered out loud, knowing moon dust was a great portal conductor.

That spark of innovation stayed with him, manifesting itself as the company. He saw no objections, only a challenge to re-invent the time machine.
"I say yes, why not? It'll be cheaper than airlines! Although the only problem I can think of is how to make it bigger on the inside. I know Neil did that to his house and suitcase, but I can't remember how." Jonathan answered with joy, after the bus sank, this was a good opportunity. "We could use the phone booth, or try the car first." He suggested to Caroline.

Sure, she'd had it rough and went through tough shit before, but this pushed beyond her limit. Her lower lip quivered as she whimpered like a scared dog while tears continued to stream down her cheeks. She was in shock, no doubt about it. The pain had overloaded her mind on the table, causing her to pass out, but she came to after Toscha freed her. She couldn't think straight after experiencing what she did. Her arm was almost totally unresponsive to her now, and she felt like it had been torn from her. She grabbed a bottle of vodka from her rucksack and chugged it dry before she slowly unholstered her pistol. She just stared through the opposite wall as she continued to whimper while she gradually began to bring the barrel to her right temple.

Namal chuckled and padded over to the honey covered creatures and stuck out a hand into the watery sideways honey rain, before pulling it back to lick it off his hand a bit. "Yummy. Very sweet. What is this called, fuzzy jumping thing? I have never seen this kind of food before!" His planet had things like it, but he had never tasted honey from earth, let alone honey created from the mind of a fluffy thing. So it was quite interesting to taste to the 'fake bad raptor' as MB had been calling Namal.
"Hey, Nick, I wonder if you could have your mind communication powers work at a larger range while here? It would be easier communicating would it not?" Namal offered, crouching down to the level of the two animals to speak with both of the sticky things closer and more face-to-face.

"A-alright."
Natiya was dumbfounded that Aleki would basically hand her the keys to the dropship. Like she knew how to operate one, much less open the door to it. Maybe it was like a regular car, she reasoned as she carried the duffel bag out of the apartment. Her cheeks were in a blush too, after Aleki had gone out of his way to do this.
With that, she approached, and somehow, without blowing something up, entered the dropship to wait.

Superbia soon peeled off of Blythe before taking a step back. "Eh, possibly not. I mean if we get older you then I am sure that things will be fine.." He briefly paused as he grinned before continuing." If not fun for all." He chuckled.
"Ah but I have been fine. Still have you and things are happening. Normal things." He remarked.
"Well, actually, it's not up to Naomi. Blythe gained her freedom when Slaanesh was asked directly. Blythe is a true Daemon. I'm an Abrahamic castaway. There's a difference. I'm not purely emotion."
Xanthe shrugged. "I'm sure we'll figure out an answer. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but soon. Until then, I just have to be patient, right?"

"Fun for all?" Blythe stepped back and offered a lopsided grin. It exposed one of her sharp canines, giving her a cute sort of snaggle. "And just what sort of insane things to we all get up to? Not that I want to know. Well, I do want to know, but you know what I mean. I'm glad you still have me, though. But what of your old self?"
She gestured to the sleeping Superbia on the ground. "How can I best comfort you? I can't make things all better, but I can at least try to help you past your pain. Please tell me.
