Forecast: Temps will remain at sub-zero temps for the next few days. No snow is in the forecast. BIELEFELD AND THE WORLD: The Sovereign-State of Bielefeld and her capitol city have just experienced the worst blizzard to hit that part of Europe in a long time: snow accumulation over 8 ft (2.4m) in some areas. Schools are closed. Some businesses are open, especially those most frequented by Building inhabitants. The government (and cultists) report no further activities by Bane. This weather should also affect any nations above the 50* latitude line. The US and Canada are being hit however the major storm system is focused mainly on Europe. Weather is a global phenomena. Character Background/Biography: Veronika was born into the Zone and orphaned at a young age of 12. She grew up accepting the ways of the Loners over the Bandits they constantly warred with. She spent most of her time in the Skadovsk bar. She worked for Beard, the barkeep, as an artifact hunter to make a decent living. She hung around Nimble a lot, and eventually befriended him. He gave her a special discount on his custom weapons that he sold. She stayed away from Sultan and his thugs as best she could, but a couple run-ins didn't usually end well. She counted the fact that she always escaped in one piece as a blessing from the Guardian.

Most of her down time was spent swapping stories with some of the other Loners in the bar, and on a few occasions she had Pilot take her to Yanov station around the Jupiter PP. Most of the time she gathered artifacts or fought off mutants, and barely had any time to relax until she was about 16. Then she decided that drinking vodka was the best was to wind down after an expedition. She justified it by noting how vodka naturally reduces the amount of radiation on one's body. Her latest expedition didn't go as planned. After failing to find her designated artifact in time, she followed the trail to find that Mercenaries had it. Instead of leaving them be, she snuck into their base and stole the artifact. On her way out, she was found, and began her long journey out of the Zone with only the compelling will of the Guardian guiding her.

Her parents died when she was twelve, leaving her with Beard at the Skadovsk bar to take her in and teach her how to survive. She worked for him by finding artifacts and bringing them in in exchange for him allowing her to eat, drink, and stay for free with a couple extra cartridges here and there. She's rough around the edges and doesn't care much for people. She also isn't very trusting and can get angered easily. She drinks vodka regularly and has built up a toleration for even the heaviest drinking nights. All in all, she does try her best to do what's right, but she also isn't afraid to threaten to kick someone's teeth in if they start ticking her off.

You see, Mickey is what is known as a Cibopath meaning he can get psychic impressions of whatever he eats for as long as that object is in his mouth. For example, if he was to take a bite out of an apple, he would get a feeling in his head about what tree it grew from, what pesticides were used on the crop, and when it was harvested. Now, if he was to take a bite out of a steak, he would probably end up seeing and feeling some very unsatisfying and gruesome things.

Seeing as how the gift could be quite useful on occasion, Mickey Vites became a Detective for the Los Angelas Police Department where he was soon paired up with the hot-shot telekinetic Detective Quincy McLure. The two quickly became mortal enemies/best friends. The two went on to solve many cases such as the Mr. Monday Mauling Murders (I think you can figure out that guy's M.O.) earning quite a bit of a reputation within the city, but that was quickly forgotten by the end of the week.

Each case was basically the same routine: Mickey sinks his teeth into some rancid hunk of meat that the criminals may have taken a bite out of, and, depending on if it worked, Quincy would end up throwing the perpetrators out of window or flipping their car over with his telekinesis. Due to Quincy's enormous ego, he usually always took complete credit for each case the duo solved, while leaving Mickey in the shadows with a bad taste in his mouth.

Although, Mickey could care less about the attention, he just likes taking bad guys off the street.

It's a good premise but Bielefeld is extremely complex. Mickey would be on a specialized task force due to his abilities, and you'd need extensive knowledge of the PL history in order to pull this off. I'd recommend bringing him in as a rookie or else as a retired officer from another nation.

Quincy would need a full character app as well. He's an NPC partner, but a potent one.
