You (as in, your mind) is not alive, active, conscious, or anything, though, so it isn't an afterlife. The living things in that scenario are the worms, who haven't died.

The basic concept of an afterlife -- some kind of existance after you on this Earth die -- doesn't require eternal life. There could be a second "death" in it.
