Regardless of the legality of Israel's actions concerning the demolishing of houses the fact remains that Corrie was A) not a UN worker nor B)possessed the authority to halt Israel's actions thus putting her in the wrong for being in an area that, as mentioned before, was cordoned off to civies. Secondly, as a soldier I can see the driver's POV; he has limited visibility, he's on guard for potential attacks, has a really loud fucking engine (not to mention ear protection and/or a commo helmet for comms that dims out outer noise) next to him, and a bunch of people screaming at him through it all. Dude, the whole thing is six of one half a dozen of the other. It wouldn't greatly surprise me if it was deliberate, but I can't say it was because I don't know. But I don't think it ever had a hope in hell of being a fair trial either way.

Israel did not have the authority to take the actions that it did, this occured in UN declared palestinian land. Israel was violating international law. She was standing on a debris pile that put her at a height that the driver could see her. There was no wall, it was a slab of concrete on the debris pile but she was visible above it.

While I feel pity for her family (and cringe at the painful intensity of her death) I can't get all upset over a foreign nation not willing to entertain a lawsuit brought by the family of the careless person. Third video: Children shouting and nothing happening. A clip of one man being taken away, with no lead up to what happened, just him being taken away. The parts prior to him being taken away were cut. More video of people being arrested with no context.
