The Shikonjimanese royalty claims that an annexation - I repeat an annexation - (the most pure and indisputable forms of imperialism and colonialism) cannot be such because... it follows international law?
Yet, this same monarchist regime claims to reject Western philosophy. So which is it?
Do they reject Gringo philosophy and beliefs, or do they support international law as a justification for imperialism?

The putas-royez also make another contradiction. They claim that they don't believe in race or ethnicity, and the islands are so diverse and different that it protects them from any charge of racism - while also claiming that the islands are so close to Shikonjimanese culture that they are basically the same and should be annexed.
So which is it? Are they different enough to dismiss charges of racism over, or are they similar enough to warrant annexation without a vote? (Assuming you actually believe similar ethnicity as justification for imperialism, which I reject)

They even sink so low as to use historical precedence as an argument - that's right! I'm not making this up! These people literally use historical ownership of the islands to justify theft of land and sovereignty!
This is the same argument Saddam "Gas the Kurds" Hussein used to annex Kuwait, and the same as Tyvar "Kill the whole family, even the dog" Slovak used to try and cock-block Ruolnik's independence!

Meanwhile, the enablers and apologists of the Shikonjimanese monarchist regime question what any foreign national might have to gain by rejecting the imperialist narrative! This a fair charge, as imperialists may often seek to push out rival empires so that they can then exploit the colony for themselves - however, no foreign nation has laid claim the Ferinian Archipelago! So far, the only nation with known motives to conquer and annex (I repeat, literally annex) the islands is the Shikonjimanese Monarchist Entity (SME). It is stupid to compare open acts and intentions of imperialism and colonialism to unknown or uncertain motives.
That being said, if any such apologist or enabler of the SME has any proof that such foreign nations plan to annex the Fernian Archipelago for themselves, please present it here as I am all eyes & ears!

I have just received news that Dwanesbury International Airport had to be shut down due to the Crimson Flu (CaBI19) outbreak. Sanitary conditions in the restrooms and lounge areas were keeping cleaning staff overworked and in danger! Now, due to the risk of passing on the bacterial infection to flight crews and security personnel.
Worse yet, we have reports of passengers with the disease attempt to force themselves on flight attendants and others participating in degenerate acts in the airport lounge areas!

Disgusting and shameful!

Due to the potential for public danger and loss of human life, I am pushing parliament to draft legislation which holds acts such as this and knowingly passing on diseases to others as an act of bio terrorism.
On top of that, I will be witholding all federal aid to the city government of Dwanesbury until they get their shit together!
Some, such as the residents Little Kiyosou or the proud biker culture of Murray, are good people. But the rest of Dwanesbury is a wretched hive of scum and degeneracy who is holding the rest of us hostage with their hedonistic behavior!

@EnlightenedFedora: Uh, I don't know how to answer your last question. There's those who do seek to abolish religion in itself while there's those who simply want to abolish the institutions and not the religions and spirituality themselves. I'm not religious but I don't have anything against religious institutions as long as they aren't harmful or dangerous.

And yes, Marx was pretty big on individuals following their artistic pursuit under full-automation. However he passed away before fully finishing his ideas on how socialism should work. It's why socialism itself and the different varieties within socialism all extend back to Orthodox Marxism, and it's why many people have different methods on how to get to a communist society. You should probably ask someone who's communist like Marxist-Leninist or a Utopian Socialist like Anarcho-Syndicalist if you want to hear a different perspective on reaching full communism since I'm only speaking from one perspective tbh.

I applaud @realStanBowden on his initiative in tackling the threat posed by CaBI19. He has done excellent work in cleaning up the damage liberalism has inflicted on South Oceanica since he took office, though the sad fact is that it still permeates through many aspects of society, especially in Dwanesbury. I suppose this cannot be helped when your country is in proximity to the core of deviancy in the Southern Furukuran Sea; New Sodom. Never forget when the rainbow hoardes showed their true faces and attempted to besiege the community of Nifonese in Little Kiyosu, only to be crushed righteously by the sons of Admiral Yi in defence of their homes. Once more, that was the day the mask slipped and our enemy revealed itself!

LEAKED DOCUMENTS, PHOTOS REVEAL SHIKONJIMANESE FORCES AND ALLIES PREPARING FOR FERINAN INVASION

Elements within the government of Shikonjma who oppose the annexation of the Ferinan Archipelago have leaked a cache of extremely sensitive documents to our journalists at VickyLeaks, confirming suspicions that regime forces and their allies are gearing up for a massive assault on the islands, backed up by significant naval power. This comes as calls grow internationally for the Shikonjimanese regime to reverse its decision and hold a referendum on the sovereignty of the Ferinan Archipelago. In the last number of days, there has also been evidence of massacres perpetrated by authorities against demonstrators who oppose the demonstration. This information was provided to us by anonymous, high-ranking officials in both the foreign affairs department of the government who sympathise with the plight of the Ferinan people.

It is publicly available information that Astarian naval unit Carrier Group 32 is currently transiting close to Shikonjima and the Ferinan Archipelago. A number of days ago, news broke of a catastrophic incident aboard the flagship IAS Ebon Atoll resulting in approximately 60 deaths, with many more injured. The pretext of 'military exercises' had been used to justify the presence of Carrier Group 32, but it is now clear through analysis of photographs taken from orbit and these leaked documents that their true purpose is to be used in crushing any uprising which occurs in response to the occupation of the islands by foreign troops. It is likely that this accident has set back plans for the invasion by a number of days or weeks as medical facilities onboard are overwhelmed.

Image
Satellite photo showing a large naval formation, led by the the Astarian carrier IAS Ebon Atoll

The leaked documents show correspondence between Minister for Foreign Affairs, Jitsuko Sageshima, and individuals from countries friendly to Shikonjima, including discussions for plans to land a sizeable number of soldiers on the islands to assist domestic police forces in quelling the protests as well as combatting any possible armed resistance to the occupation, which officials predict to be extensive. E-mails from Sageshima also confirm suspicions that pro-Shikonjima rallies in the Ferinan Archipelago were organised and funded by the government in an attempt to prove domestic support for annexation and that Shikonjimanese state media is underreporting both national opposition and the size of anti-annexation protests to a significant degree.

I'd say those images provided by VickyLeaks look pretty legit.

In our past-action briefings in NCO school they had a powerpoint about the Lollohian invasion of the Cevronik Isles and those images look a hell of a lot like the Lollohian invasion flotilla.
Of course the Lollohian flotilla had a lot more frigates/transports - but then again Ferinian Archipelago hardly has the A2/D2 capabilities to even begin to fend off even a small invasion...

Just reading about Shikonjima annexing the Ferinan archipelago, and now the Shikonjimese regime is accepting military aid from its allies in occupying a foreign land. Sad times ahead and I do hope the people of the Ferinan archipelago will take up arms and engage in a national patriotic resistance against the imperialist colonizers.

Also, judging by the image from Vickyleaks, the large naval formation of Astarian ships are in a convoy-like line rather than dispersed out. I've had a discussion with some close friends in the ZPA Navy and they said that if the Ferinan archipelago had robust area-denial capabilities then that fleet of swam back to where they come.

Capt. (ret.) Jigelun Bolan (@BurntOutEagle91)
Just now from Anjing, Zhouran

@YourNeighborhoodTongyehankeWarrior28: The big concern is that if they do succeed in occupying the Ferinan archipelago then the occupiers could end up establishing A2/AD to prevent liberation of those islands. Luckily I have a .txt file that I found from a Zhouranese military watch forum for foreigners which talks about the ZPA's potential use of A2/AD as a counter to China's own A2/AD. NIMS wrote two appraisals on China's A2/AD in the South China Sea last year, but I'm gonna have to do some digging just to find those pdf files, both of which are big ass files since they each have hundreds of pages and hundreds of thousands of words along with graphs and mathematics calculations. But basically if those islands do end up getting occupied and the colonizers establishing anti-access area-denial, then it's still possible to liberate the Ferinan archipelago by simply putting the colonizers on a lethal chokehold.

In early 2019, the National Institute of Military Science released two appraisals of China in swift succession. The first, issued on January 17, goes by the title "China's Aggressively-Rising Military Power in the First Quarter of 2019", the second one, issued on January 19, is awkwardly titled "Assessment on Zhouranese Strategic Defense Implications of China's Expanding Global Access Through Aggressive Military Modernization" and explored the purposes for which Beijing harnesses power. It evaluates Chinese "grand strategy", in other words, even though the phrase never appeared in the document.

The researchers who wrote "Assessment on Zhouranese Strategic Defense Implications of China's Expanding Global Access Through Aggressive Military Modernization" were right to accent the word "access" and they utilized it numerous times. Chinese grand strategy itself is a strategy that centers on negotiating or wresting open access to distant seas and shores, and like other trading nations, China depends on waterborne transport to move bulk goods into and away from China. Due to the situation of geography, China is in need of easier ocean access and their merchant fleet require ready admission to harbors overseas to unload cargo for sale or load raw materials to carry back home.

Unlike Zhouran or the United States, two nations with highly-strategic geographies and geographic advantages, China is in an unlucky position as the strategic geography encumbers their ambitions to a degree unique among great powers. To exit the China seas or return from faraway ports of call, vessels must cross through the "first island chain", a string of islands spanning from southern Japan through Taiwan, the Philippine Islands, and the Indonesian archipelago. The island chain plays host to the powerful naval and air forces of Zhouran and the US. Its occupants are either the Americans, the Zhouranese, or anyone who is a potential foe of China. As a result, shipping and aircraft on which China's economic and geopolitical fortunes depend must pass under the shadow of hostile armed forces whenever they leave or return home. This would be no surprise that Chinese strategists starting from PLA Navy founding father Admiral Liu Huaqing onward have dubbed the first island chain a "metal chain" that China must burst to fulfill its destiny—its "China Dream", as Chinese leader Xi Jinping described it. Fracturing the island chain—by seizing part of it, such as Taiwan, or by wooing US allies away from Washington's orbit through diplomacy and trade—is crucial to strategic success. However for China their biggest challenge is not the US but rather it is Zhouran. Since the two island chains are within easy reach from Zhouran, this means that the Zhouran People's Army can easily deprive China's ocean-access to the world: this can be easily done by having various Zhouranese combat naval groups consisting of highly-advanced warships sailing around the Luzon Strait and the Philippine Sea. China is fully aware that their navy, and military in general is decades behind Zhouran's in terms of technology and experience.

Beijing pursues diplomacy and economic statecraft to gain access to the wider world, but military access tends to trail behind these efforts. For instance, the PLA Navy has maintained a squadron in the Gulf of Aden for a decade and put in appearances elsewhere. Apart from the western Indian Ocean, though, China’s navy has yet to establish a standing presence outside home waters. In comparison, both the ZPA Navy and US Navy have warships sailing all across the world, these two navies are the only blue-water navies in the world to have global-reach power projection while China's PLA Navy is only limited to regional power projection, putting them on the same boat as the navies of Japan, Australia, South Korea, Germany, and Canada. Nonmilitary tools represent the vanguard of Chinese grand strategy outside East Asia, at least until the Chinese leadership is confident enough with the capabilities of their military.

This pattern is most likely another product of geography. China can accomplish little in "far seas" such as the Indian Ocean or Mediterranean Sea unless its merchant or naval fleets can get there from the "near seas" washing against mainland shores. Thus far-seas endeavors refocus China's military strategists and practitioners on guaranteeing access from the China seas to the Western Pacific.

Intriguingly, though, the "Assessment on Zhouranese Strategic Defense Implications of China's Expanding Global Access Through Aggressive Military Modernization" doesn't depict the Zhouranese strategic response as a quest to assure and deny access despite being capable of doing so. Commercial, political, and military access to the Eurasian and African rimlands has been central to Zhouranese grand strategy for decades, and such access has a high chance of being in peril in as China, Russia, and other coastal competitors festoon their shorelines with "anti-access" and "area-denial" weaponry reputedly able to hold enemy naval forces at a distance.

Various individuals would think the imperative to preserve access would rank uppermost in Zhouranese military minds. Meanwhile the People's Defense Council has been fashioning access- and area-denial strategies of its own as a response. PLA and Chinese Communist Party thinkers and practitioners have obsessed over maritime access for a reason: access deniers along the island chain could cut China off from the trading world. As a challenge to China's growing expansionism, sealing the straits permitting passage through the island chain would be like cutting the roots of a plant. It would deny the Chinese merchant fleet and PLA Navy access to the oceanic thoroughfare on which they rely to ply their trades. China's import and export traffic—crucial to its prosperity, and thus to fulfilling the China Dream—could shrivel and die. China's geopolitical standing could wilt in the process. While Zhouranese warships regularly sail around the Luzon Strait and Philippine Sea, military thinkers at the National Defense Complex are currently embracing A2/AD seriously in the region and keeping an eye on China's military developments in the South China Sea.

The Zhouranese People's Army has the full-capability of blocking off the South China Sea and denying Chinese warships and merchant ships access to the open ocean, thus imposing a fatal catastrophic fate on China's economy and preventing the PLA from responding efficiently. The ZPA Navy operates a variety of large highly-sophisticated heavily-armed warships such as the Type 2000 Kepa-class guided-missile destroyer, Type 2001 Rongqiao-class guided-missile destroyer, Type 2006 Lieren-class guided-missile destroyer, Type 2007 Huandalun-class guided-missile destroyer and Type 2007 Zhengjing-class nuclear-powered guided-missile destroyer, as well as lethal silent submarines such as the Type 3148 SSK, Type 2163 SSK, Type 3150 SSK, Type 2166 SSK, Type 2167 SSK, Type 1978 Tusairen-class SSN, Type 1183 SSN, Type 2002 Ayueni-class SSN, Type 2000 Lieren-class SSN, Type 2003 Lairongyu-class SSN, Type 2007 Natakou-class SSN, Type 1188 SSN and Type 1190 SSN. Meanwhile in the air, the ZPA Air Force operates a variety of state-of-the-art fighter jets capable of A2/AD operations such as the Jian-24-0 high-speed heavy air superiority fighter, Jian-26-0-2 heavy long-range multirole strike fighter, Jian-22-2-1 heavy multirole air superiority fighter, Jian-19-0-6 heavy multirole air superiority fighter, Jian-18-2-2 heavy multirole air superiority fighter, Jian-20-3-3 heavy multirole air superiority fighter, Jian-24-3-0 heavy multirole air superiority fighter, Jian-26-1-1 stealth multirole air superiority fighter and Jian-28-4-0 stealth multirole air superiority fighter, while ZPA Naval Aviation on the other hand operates its own carrier-borne fighter jets such as the Type 114-900 carrier-borne multirole air superiority fighter and Type 116-300 carrier-borne stealth multirole air superiority fighter.

Even more so, I would argue because unlike the Chinoise home-defensive area-denial which would resupply via land-based routes, the SME would have to resupply its expeditionary area-denial via sea & air routes, which would increase the cost of maintaining the supply route and put the airlift-sealift complex itself under threat (if not for the islands closer to the SME then the ones further from it).

Of course, most "wars" (if you believe in such an old-school view of conflict) in the modern age would last only hours before one side overtakes the other. Its likely that any attempt by foreign militaries to liberate the Ferinian Archipelago would be facing a "coin-toss" situation - although the defenders would be facing similar chances of victory.

The situation in the Ferinan Archipelago is the end result of mass immigration. It is a racist, planter coup against the native population, designed to finally strip them of their identity and entitlement to a homeland. There has been a consorted effort by the Shikonjimanese to exterminate the culture of these heroic people in the name of imperialism, neo-colonialism and multiculturalism. These brave indigenous peoples can now only grasp at a slim hope of victory against the foreign invaders, aliens in the place they call home. No other nation can suffer the same terrible fate!

Rainy season is always the most boring time of year. No fires to fight, the ground is too wet to install more firebreaks, and most of the rangeland is inaccessible by road anyways.

This week my colleagues and I responded to a report of a small shark in a rural farm canal. Of course, we knew it was unlikely (though not impossible) that any kind of shark would be found in the area. What we did hope to find and did manage to catch was this Rio Neige Arapaima (Arapaima neigas). This is species is not the largest of its kind, but it is still one of the largest freshwater fish in Inyursta.
They are also a threatened species, and we were quick to get this subadult female into a tub and back into the main river stream where she can hopefully grow about a foot bigger and start reproducing!

@BurntOutEagle91 The best time to strangle the occupiers is when they're building up their A2/AD in the Ferinan archipelagos. Ships have to freight materiel and supplies to the islands would have to cross the ocean, thus making them prime targets for submarines. As for air transport, transport planes can be harassed and shot down while a no-fly zone could be enforced assuming the colonizers don't really have significant airpower (they do have a carrier but if that carrier was sunk then that would put a dent on air-defense for the imperialists). My main concern would be any SAM, AShM, and radars being set up by the colonizers once they successfully establish defenses on the islands, luckily the best way to weaken their defenses is by simply penetrating it and hitting the enemies behind the frontlines.

@LorenzoSL Pretty much. Since the colonizers are swimming several kilometers to a foreign archipelago, their sea lane makes prime target for harassment and sinking, plus since you mentioned about distance it does make a huge difference on how far you're conducting an expeditionary operation from the homeland. It's why for us Zhouranese having 'toilet stops' (nickname for stopping by at an overseas base before reaching the destination) is always important during expeditionary operations.

Since I doubt there will be a massive regional war on those islands, my best bet for taking down the occupier's defense would be through penetrating them and striking important assets like radars and AShM sites. Either that or enforce a naval blockade and no-fly-zone (but that's if the occupier's air-defense and anti-ship defense doesn't pose much of a threat or has been neutralized/weakened).

@YourNeighborhoodTongyehankeWarrior28 & @LorenzoSL, one of the things I've been taught back in the Air Force was indeed about striking the enemy's logistics, this would also become an easier job the more the enemy stretches out its own logistics line the further they go from their homeland. As for dealing with enemy A2/AD especially at a small-scale this can be done with deep-air support interdictions within the enemy's rearlines, striking anything of value to the enemy's anti-access area-denial effort. This is most easily done with stealth aircraft, however it can still be done with non-stealth aircraft but with a risk. In the ZPAAF, doing a deep strike with a non-stealthy aircraft basically involves the heavy usage of electronic-warfare radar jamming and standoff air-to-surface munitions like air-to-ground missiles and rocket-boosted glide bombs (or 'cigar rockets' as we call them).

I'll give the colonizers a pass for being less transparent about their expeditionary force since they know that their opponents are keeping an eye out on them. Being less transparent is a great way for a military to mask their actual weaknesses, contrary to some who think it's about masking actual strengths, so for that expeditionary fleet they did make a smart move by not fully displaying their weaknesses (except for them being in a convoy line of course hahaha but that's another topic).

I dont doubt that the Shikonjiamese Monarchist Entity could rapidly deploy ground forces to the islands - even across long sea distances.
What I am referencing is the logistical cost of keeping those AShM batteries + SAMs alive and kicking. Getting battery in place and set up is one thing, making sure it has enough missiles to repeatedly engage every radar blip when the time comes is another question.
That being said, I agree that a regional """war""" is unlikely. This is due to the fact that none of the nations in opposition currently have any geopolitical or geostrategic interest (unlike the claims of the SME's enablers) in the region. Its more along the lines of the anti-imperialist nations not wanting to fight rather than any of us being unable.

I would argue that a blockade is entirely possible even with in the face of above-average or excellent A2/AD capabilities. Historically U-Boat blockades with limited air support have been effective; meanwhile, submarine technology has advanced exponentially, while air power has also become exceptionally lethal to shipping even at long distances. In an open sea, the area which carrier group and submarine forces can operate is significantly larger and harder to survey than are shipping lanes and routes of resupply.

A declassified PDF report detailing a proposed blockade of Ardoki in PY2017 detailed that the Marine D'Inyursta (navy) proposed actually using poorly-defended Ardokian commercial shipping vessels as a way of burning up old AGM-84 Siren missiles before they rot away in warehouses.

I am absolutely shocked and dismayed from the fact the face of 17th-18th century Colonialism is still alive. With those inbred cocksucking cunts of the Shikonjimanese royalty seemingly invading the Ferinan Arcihpelago and destroying the local culture. The face of old fashioned Imperialism shows itself every time those liberal monarchies try to tell nations from SACTO for example what they are doing is wrong by international law. Where is your international law now, huh? How can you annex and ethnically cleanse the natives and then say you are following international law? Truly disgusting and cruel.
I heard that they say they don't believe in racialism or ethnicities, just what the Soviets believe... Except, the USSR under Stalin and a bit afterwards imprisoned actual biologists and genetic scientists (Citation: Trofim Lysenko and the Soviet state rejection of the Mendelian theory of inheritance) and with that replaced with a new theory of Communist pseudo-science called Lysenkoism. So... They don't believe in race right and say the Ferinan islands are so diverse right? And then right afterwards they are so close to Shikonjimanese culture and ethnicity to the point they are the same! What kind bullshit is that?!! In what world do we live in?!! I heard they also tried to justify it because they apparently owned the land thousands of years ago! Don't make me fucking laugh, Saddam Hussein who violently killed Kurds in the Iran-Iraq war also used the same argument to conquer Kuwait or how China illegally SNATCHED the Vietnamese owned Spratly Islands due to maps drawn out thousands of years ago when the Ming Dynasty had an empire that spread even across the South China Sea! Such Imperialist bullshit repeating itself for so many times, why am I even surprised anymore? The hypocritical Shinkonjimanese and their apologists and enablers act like they "reject imperialism" from other states, even though no nation has tried to claim the Ferinan Archipelago. They have been caught red handed by VickyLeaks, deploying naval ships outside the archipelago and discussing invasion in order to subjugate the locals and they try to deny it! And of course their Monarchy fuckbuddies come to the rescue to continue the circlejerk and aid their Imperialist cause, all in order to kill some natives and secure some sweet ColonyBux! I can see right through the lies of the Colonialists.

I even tagged up a wall (in a designated graffiti space, nothing illegal), in order to show my sympathy towards the natives of the Ferinan Archipelago, so I say Locals Only, Invaders out! #deathtoinvaders, #justicefortheislands

@SUOVici: Pretty much. A2/AD no doubt isn't a silver bullet, us Zhouranese have researched on this since we use A2/AD but we also conduct opfor exercises just to find the concept's flaws and exploit them for use against opponents who do use it.

One of the form of vessel formation dispersion practiced within the ZPA Navy is called the 'Wolf & Bear Formation'. Essentially with this formation, a combat naval group (Zhouranese equivalent to a task force in other navies) consisting of a carrier, its escorts and the submarines would be in a concentric layered circle formation; the carrier in the middle-most, surrounded by its most advanced surface warships, followed by another layer of other surface warships together with logistic support vessels (thus forming the Bear formation), and at the outer-most layer being the submarines (making up the Wolf formation). How spread out a Wolf & Bear Formation can differ, ranging from being dispersed in an area of 1,075 square km right up to 125,600 square km or greater, depending on how much vessels within a combat naval group. Pretty much as you said, submarine technology has gotten a lot more advanced and one of my mates who is currently serving as a nuclear submariner has told me about the implementation of strategic-level anti-ship warfare & anti-submarine warfare against the defending side during a counter A2/AD operation. I'm no submariner though since my specialty is with guided-missile destroyers (aka cruisers depending on how foreign navies would class 'em), plus aerial warfare is also something I'm not specialized in although I have talked to naval aviators within the ZPA Navy and they told me that despite the usage of long-range heavyweight supersonic AShMs used by Zhouranese warships and submarines, carrier-borne fighter jets would be deployed if a particular target warship was around thousands of kilometers away from a combat naval group (beyond the range of ship/sub-launched long-range supersonic AShMs). A common counter-A2/AD tactic & strategy we practice in the ZPAN is using airpower to destroy the important land assets and submarines to deploy waves of AShMs against naval opponents, in theory this method would technically work against modern near-peer opponents but so far it's been deployed at a small scale against below-peer opponents with barely any A2/AD.

Btw, I find the idea of using older AShMs against commercial ships interesting. Us Zhouranese have a lot of older munitions and vehicles in storage reserve, the government would usually either sell them as second-hand to foreign militaries at a low price or use them as target practice for live-fire exercises. Using old AShMs against freight ships is a decent way of putting them to good use, not to mention it wouldn't really cost much money on using them compared to using highly-sophisticated expensive missiles that will cost a lot per each usage.

@LorenzoSL: Currently the best chance a resistance in Ferinan archipelago would have is to buy arms & munitions from arms dealers and wage a guerrilla war against the imperialists. It won't be easy and it'll take a long time but if they can hit the colonizers correctly then they could turn the tides of war and exhaust the occupiers' military efforts. I have my hopes since history shows that occupying foreign lands especially far away ones will lead to eventual decolonization.

Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that six more Inyurstan citizens have tested positive for CaBI19. Three individuals, one man and two women were part of an air crew which were exposed to the bacteria via a terminal patient on the plane. The others were passengers who were likely contaminated as a result of the unsanitary conditions at a number of airports in the Furukawan Sea region.

Fortunately, all cases were detected early due to medical screening procedures and all patients are receiving combative therapy due to the drug-resistant nature of the bacteria. If you believe that you may have come in contact with CaBI19 a.k.a. "Crimson Flu" a.k.a. "Venom Butt" PLEASE SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION! It will likely be asymptomatic for months if you are otherwise healthy, but can be battled in its early stage.

At this point, I further await fake news about my nation being a vector center of the spread of this bacteria...

Yes! Large aquatic predators are indicators of ecosystem health overall. First, they regulate trophic activity (the "food chain", if you will) keeping the riverine, swamp or lake systems in order. But they also suffer from 1) the side-effects of over-harvesting (i.e. humans eating the smaller fish that they eat) 2) direct persecution (especially in the case of sharks, crocodilians, and haimaras) as well as 3) Bioaccumulation where each animal, from the smallest fairy shrimp or rotifer up to the minnows, up to the bait fish, and up through the game fish take in small levels of chemicals and pollutants. By the time it gets to the top predator its in high enough quantity over a long enough time to impair their health.

Yeah I guess what I was saying was that a modern blockade is making your enemy's shipping run a gauntlet of open sea space where submarines and aircraft could be lurking at the edge of the map (much like the monsters of old); and that modern blockades are more akin to U-boat warfare than the colonialist & post-colonialist era of lining your ships up outside a port.

Back in the day when such wooden sail and steamboat ship blockades were done, they also werent tip-to-tip, they were lined up within each others effective gun range, so any ship passing through has at least one or more sets of cannons firing on it.

But yes, I'm not aware of all the details because I'm just an NCO and not all the intel is declassified; but from what I read after we exposed Ardoki's nuclear "Mass Retaliation" strategy a stone-cold-bluff; some genius quartermaster thought up the idea of dumping 1980's & 1990's era missile frames on commercial shipping to get our use out of them while most of the stockpile still functions.
