What's YN's position on North Korea?

The DPRK doesn't exist in our timeline's current state, as the Korean peninsula, Japan, Eastern China, and parts of Southeast Asia all constitute the main territorial basis of the Singularity Association, a right-accelerationist, de-facto ancap transhumanist corporatocracy. (Yes, this contradicts both of my world factbooks, which also contradict each other. Updates will be made in due time.) Our relations with the SA are tense at present, as they feel somewhat threatened by our Emperor's extreme militarism and supremacist beliefs, though they've historically been on better terms with Khoronzon than most other countries and have engaged in some degree of trade.

Regarding the actual DPRK, there are a few scenarios in which the Khoronzonite view on it would differ. If it was somehow transplanted into our world as it is, it would nigh-immediately be swallowed up by the SA and wouldn't really be worthy of separate consideration. If Khoronzon was transplanted into the real world in 2020, besides throwing global geopolitics way off course, it would probably become the DPRK's main backer and make it a de-facto puppet state. If a Khoronzonite spectator were to simply watch over the real world, they'd most likely have a somewhat favourable view of the DPRK and consider it, as the kids say, "based" and "redpilled".

There are two Korean states?

We've only got one. Though, it could get divided as the Eurasian Federation, the Republic of China, and the Japanese Empire vie for influence over it. Korea was always unified as Korea, though it was under control between China and then Japan historically.

The Ravennian Republic enjoys warm relations with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and despite our differences we continue to defend the DPRK's right to sovereignty and self-defence in the face of capitalist imperialism. We regularly condemn moves by the United States to inflame relations between the DPRK and the ROK, and continue to hope for a peaceful resolution to the conflict on the Korean Peninsula absent of outside meddling.

Major exports to the DPRK include information technology, pharmaceuticals and education. Although we do not receive many North Korean tourists, an educational visa programme allows for Ravenni to be the number one destination for North Korean citizens seeking a higher education in a Western country. Thanks to the level of access and coooperation we share with Pyongyang, Ravennian media outlets are often looked to as the most accurate English-language news publication on Korean issues.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea doesn't exist in our timeline; it's replaced by the authoritarian led party in Korea, where Korea was already unified in 1948 with the assistance of Free China, who have been actively persecuting any person suspected to be a supporter of Communism. Free China has an embassy in Korea, and since then our relations have shown cordial.

North Korea does not exist in our world. Instead, there Korea is united under a single authoritarian one-party state, led by the Workers' Party of Korea. Brazil has an embassy in Korea, but relations are not that friendly. Korea is one of the few remaining socialist states in our world.

The DPRK is frowned upon on the Univa Islands. The primary reason for this is the blatant human rights violations. After the Acuktlan conflict (war started by human rights violations in mental institutes), the government has condemned the DPRK multiple times for them.

The DPRK doesn't exist anymore in NT's timeline, but during its' 5-year existence from 1948 to 1953, NT maintained nearly no diplomatic relations with the DPRK. During the Korean War, NT(and the USA) fought against the DPRK(and PRC forces) in the proxy war. At the end of the Korean War, which NATO/Berlin Commonwealth forces won, the DPRK was annexed into the Republic of Korea.

While North Korea doesn't exist in my timeline, Gerburtsurg would view South Korea as the rightful government of the Korean penninsula, and North Korea as an illegitimate rival government.

To quote Foreign Minister James Jaggins: "The sovereignty of the Korean penninsula lies with the Seoul-based Republic of Korea. The Pyongyang-based Democratic People's Republic of Korea is an illegitimate government that has no legal sovereignty over any part of the Korean penninsula."
