Most of the old nations fell in the 2020s-2030s, so what used to be America fell due to a combination of nuclear strikes, civil war, and invasion from neighbouring countries. Since then several new states have sprouted out of America's ashes, but the radioactive North American continent as a whole is still a place of unrest.

If it were still to exist it wouldn't be an ally of Soviet Progonya, seeing as how America stood or everything that we are against. Several socialist states that exist in what used to be America are friendly with us, but it is hard to be proper allies when we are so far apart.

If it were to still exist, the yes it is likely that we would be enemies. America did not seem to appreciate socialist states existing even if they exist entirely outside it. Soviet Progonya is weary of a few nations that exist in what used to be America, depending on what their ideology is, especially the fascist, however we are at war with none at the moment.

Battle was "Battle of The North Sea" in which the US actually sent their men in British Dreadnoughts as we were patrolling the North Sea. 3 Ships were lost on our side and the US and UK lost 1 Ship. However the US lost more men at ~200 men as to our ~180 men.

Did you ever fight alongside it? Sort of. During World War II we would send Volunteers to Europe and fought as an Underground Resistance against Germany. Yes stabbed in the back dont make me laugh.
