Psychotic Dictatorship

We are(and will always remain) a one-party state. The Ogre’s Party of VlaRiSsiA has absolute control over the government and all opposition is suppressed.
Shrek may or may not have killed three hundred million people
tl;dr - after nuclear war, corrupt oligarchical hellhole emerges. ogre leads revolution, kills oligarchs after civil war, improves quality of life with progressive social policies and industrialization. couple foreign invasions, assassination attempts, personal losses, and rebellions later, ogre goes psychotic and kills anyone he’s sus of. then a fascist midget invades and kills third of the population, ogre manages to defeat him but goes completely bonkers.
now we got a hyper-totalitarian hyper-militaristic industrial hive-mind quasi-slave state that the ogre 70 years ago would be horrified at

The actual federal government has no public elections, but upon the death of the comptroller-general a nonpartisan election is held where all federal employees vote for the successor if none was specifically chosen.

For LOCAL governments, there's a multi-party system using ranked choice voting.

It's a multi-party system as there are the main two parties, National and Labour. There are also other smaller parties such as the Green Party, Conservative Party, Libertarian Movement and others.

The best way to describe the situation in the Mexican Empire would be quasi-dominant party.

The National Union party dominates most elections, particularly on a national level, but due to the proportional voting system used in elections here, often the National Union fail to win an outright majority and often rely on either coalitions or informal confidence and supply deals with smaller parties.

The main opposition Socialist Party of Mexico has led governments but not as often and never with its own majority.

Starrden for a long time had mostly three party system, consisting of the center-left LPP, the center-right TN, and the libertarian SMIP. Though recently, a quasi-multi party system has opened up. The LPP also lost a lot of following during the McKinley government and subsequent LPP one-party State.

From the founding of the National Congress in 1744, the Fifth Federation was primarily a Quasi two-party system which gradually had the two parties, the People's Conservative's Party & People's Progressive Party dominate the politics until 1977, where the system moved to a Two-party, with the People's Socialistic-Monarchist Party & People's Populist party now the primary dominant party. This was for the houses of Parliament (National Congress) which were the Chamber of Lords & Chamber of Deputies.

In local governments, the party system was mostly multi-party-system, which the parties were the People's Progressive Socialists, People's Democratic Party, People's Labor Party, People's Conservative-Republican Party, and so forth. The Legislative Houses of Provincial Governments, the State Congress & State Chamber of Commons, is Quasi-two-party, with the house's majority held by the Conservatives Socialists & Democratic Progressive Partys. Minor parties are usually from local governments, usually the large cities and towns. These parties are mainly the Progressives or Democrats, with the Conservative-Republicans holding minor power.

As for county governments, with their party system Quasi-two-party, are dominated by the People's Labor Party and People's Progressive Republicans. These parties were holders of seats in provincial and local governments, and are major enough in cities to dominate their counties.

Louisiana has a quasi-two party system, with politics being mostly dominated by the conservative Union-Civique and the populist-progressive Parti du Mouvement Popular. Traditionally, these parties have competed for Federal and Parochial representation with no meaningful competition from the hodgepodge collection of more extreme opposition parties.

This was upended in the 2015 general elections by the rapid emergence of the right wing-nationalist Ligue patriotique louisianaise (LPL) and caused political scientists at the Universite Ursuline Science Po to reclassify Louisiana's party system to quasi-two party. While the Federal Assembly remains dominated by the two major parties, the LPL forms a junior partner in the parochial governments of Aux-Arcs (Arkansas) and Haute-Louisiane (Missouri).

The 2019 elections saw the equally stunning emergence of a new party, Alliance-Verts, a coalition of minor liberal, green, and social democratic movements that capitalized on the weakness of the PMP with younger, socially liberal but economically centrist voters. It also saw unexpected success in Bas-Louisiane, where its ecological message resonated strongly with coastal voters. The Alliance, as it has become known, is smaller than the LPL, but nonetheless joins it in upending centuries of two party rule in the Federal Kingdom.

A quasi-two coalition system. The USSR allows representation of all stripes, though in recent years (the 2010 election, especially) the CPD has been dominated by the left-wing "Left Coalition", spearheaded by the Communist Party and the Social Democratic Party, and the "Forward Coalition", spearheaded by the Soviet Conservative Party and the Christian Soviet Party.

Multi-Party with the possibility for coalitions or the option to rule by minority if you so choose to. Not all parties on the local stage compete on the national stage (only three are currently in the national parlament at the moment).

Vesilenia is non-partisan since 1946, when Mindanaw and Visayas united with Vaesa and they adopted a new constitution. The constitution did not prohibit political parties, but the way that the government was organized made it practically impossible and as a result, no party could sustain itself. However, so-called factions that borne out of former political parties continue to influence matters in the General Council and in the barangays across the country.

Since the first democratic elections in Xaojie in 1952, at least three parties will get seats in Parliament and occasionally independents are also elected to the House of Reps, only three parties have been able to form Governments, the Labour Party, which is now dissolved, the Democratic Party, the former more moderate wing of that party and the Liberals the main right of centre party in Xaojie. Xaojie is a quasi-two party system although the way results end up in elections is similar to how Australia's two main groupings always get high numbers whilst other smaller parties will never get more than eight seats.

Austria has a quasi two-party system. The Austrian People's Party and Social Democratic Party have long been the country's two dominant political parties, although other parties also have a sizable presence in Parliament.
